The morning minute is brought to you by Perfect Smiles in Nashua, New Hampshire. Do what I did and update your smile. Call 1-844 a perfect smile. When you change your smile, you change your life. Last August, Democrat Congressman Jamie Raskin joined CNN to spell out the clear and unequivocal reason Trump must be barred from the Colorado and Maine primary ballots. We've been saying all along that section three of the 14th amendment presents a clear and unequivocal statement that anyone who is sworn in oath of office, and by the way, not just a president, but members of Congress and others who hold federal office, who engage in insurrection or rebellion, having sworn in oath to uphold the Constitution against enemies, foreign and domestic, can never serve again in federal or state office. Donald Trump is disqualified. He'd be sort of right if Donald Trump were proven beyond a reasonable doubt, guilty of insurrection. Newsflash Raskin, he hasn't been. He hasn't even been charged, not during impeachment number two and not by SCOTUS this week. Now, Representative Raskin accuses the justices of simply not wanting to interfere. Well, the court didn't exactly disagree with it. They just said that they're not the ones to figure it out. It's not going to be a matter for judicial resolution under section three of the 14th amendment, but it's up to Congress to enforce it. You know, I disagree with that interpretation just because the other parts of the 14th amendment are self-executing. People can go to court and say that something violates equal protection, even if there's not a federal statute that allows them to do that. But in any event, the Supreme Court punted and said it's up to Congress to act. It's a nice thought, but SCOTUS did interfere very intensely. Another newsflash for Raskin, Trump was indeed very much so on the Colorado ballot yesterday. Listen to The How We Car Show today at 3 or watch the show live at rumble.com/The How We Car Show.
