Very happy Thursday afternoon to you. 201 is the time. Chris Ello. Matt Scraver together in our Odyssey Palace Studios, Tony Gwen Jr. is across the country today. He is in Boston, Massachusetts. Where? What's going on, Scraver? We were having some technical difficulties? Yes, of course. Of course. We can't just have one day that goes smooth. No, God forbid we should have a smooth day. Yeah, the only other time we've had any problem hooking up with Tony on the road was when the potteries were really close by. Remember, they were in Anaheim. That's right. We couldn't find. That's right. We couldn't find a cell phone signal, a cell phone signal or any kind of signal from Anaheim. But we're having some issues today in Boston. So Tony, we'll be joining us soon. We are hanging out between now and five o'clock, wrapping up a wonderful homestand for the Padres, one in which they go six and one. They've won seven out of eight overall. And just like that, they have a jump from three games under 500 to three games over 500. That is tied for the high water mark this season. And at 44 and 41, all is looking well in the world of the Padres. But is it? I think we will find out the answer to that on this upcoming road trip as the Padres start with the Red Sox tomorrow night, three games, and then head down to Dallas to take on the Texas Rangers, the defending World Series champs, three games there. And I think we have Tony now Tony, let's just hope that this road trip goes a little better than the last one did. And they really start under similar circumstances. The last one started after a back-to-back walk off wins over the Oakland Athletics. Everyone was all excited. And then just like that, a five game losing streak. This time, you get the, you know, really a thrilling series win over the Nationals, sweep them, maybe have one of the best games of the year, Tuesday night, most exciting game for sure. And let's just hope that, you know, the same thing that happened on this trip that happened on the last one. How are you? Well, I mean, that's the hope, right? Is that they come out and they continue the wave that they have started in San Diego. You know, last time it was a four and two home stand, Padres went out. And I think they went what one and one and five. Yeah, lost the first five. Yeah, on the first on the road trip. So this is something that haven't been able to do, whether it was going from the road to home or home to the road. Maybe this can be their next step, if they can put together another quality road trip, or just like they did at the homestead, you're going to be looking at, you know, five, six games up over 500. And then that's the type of steps you want to see as the season continues to progress. They're clearly, I hesitate to say they're playing their best baseball because they have gone on stretches. Yeah, like this before, I guess I'll be comfortable saying it. If they can put together, you know, even at least a 500 pro trip. Yeah, don't lose ground on this road trip. Right. Right. Then we can say, okay, now, now, and then you come home and you're able to put together the same type deal because you come home. And it's really, this is the, the, it's not a soft part, but it's a much easier part of the schedule for the Padres right here. You got a bunch of off days lined up, you know, today, you'll have Monday off again, you come home. And then you got two more off days before you even get to the break. And so this is a, this is a good time for the Padres to get on the run. And despite not having, you know, a full, full load of guys and some injuries, you're kind of trying to stiff arm right now. It's a good time to be having this part of the schedule. Yeah. I mean, the great news is that, you know, they're, they're having success. The concerning news is that, you know, is the other shoe going to drop? I mean, you know, we've talked about it, but can any team in baseball survive having four of its top five paid players on the injured list? I don't know that that's 100% true at the Padres, because somebody pointed out to me that Eric Cosmer is actually still one of the highest paid Padres this year. But I'm not referring to that. I'm talking about, you know, the, the Darvish and the Musgrove and the, the Bogart's and now Fernando Tatis Jr. That's four of your top five big guys, big guns, big payday guys, two pitchers, two big hitters. And I mean, this team is really in a lot of ways amazing me right now. And they're getting it done with, you know, contributions from everywhere. I think in certain cases, unexpected sources, I would say pro far, except he's not unexpected anymore. I mean, he's been doing it all year and he stayed consistent. But you certainly didn't expect Kyle Higashyoka, who was hitting a buck 28, heading into the month of June, to then all of a sudden turn into Johnny Bench. I mean, seven home runs, 17 RBIs, obviously one that game yesterday, almost single handedly. Jackson Merrill has squarely placed himself in the picture for rookie of the year. Donovan Solano keeps coming through with big hits at the right time. You know, I mean, this team, I don't know if you can say they're good or bad or anything yet until we, you know, play some more. But I think we can clearly say, Tony, that this team has a, has a, has a good chemistry and a good ability to fight and scratch and claw. I know every team wants to say they can, you know, they fight hard. This team, I think actually shows it. And I think that and, you know, the chemistry and whatever the makeup is, is working out and maybe, maybe even allowing them to have a little better record than they should have at this point. Yeah, I guess that's all that is, is nice. And, you know, ultimately, we've been down this road again, like, so I'm not going to go either way on, on feeling like they, because they, you, I feel like people only feel like they're overachieving now because they're three games over 500. I mean, otherwise we would be haggling and talking about the same. A week, a week ago, they were underachieving because they were three games under 500. Exactly. Exactly. I know. The recent news in the homestand with Totti going down is pretty fresh, right? And so we'll see how that starts to settle in on this team. The one thing you can say about the team, which, you know, you hit on is that this team is has a bunch of fighters, like they're not, they just, they're just not going to go away. Even when it looks terrible, it, they continue to keep fighting. And that's indicative of them losing, like, five straight and then coming back, winning four or five and then losing five straight and then coming right back and winning five and six, like, this is what they've been doing all season. But it does feel like this homestand, I don't know, coming onto this road trip, it does feel different. You know, it feels like, this is a team that, as you said, I think they just, but I don't know that it's chemistry or what, but they, they know what they're trying to accomplish every single day. And sometimes they come up short and you don't, they don't waver. You know, it's, I think we on the outside go back and forth with the emotions and, and, and this, but they don't. They're able to do what they need to do. I mean, they've had, what, two or three different times this year where they've lost four straight or five straight. And they, when we think it's like, oh man, as I think a recover from this, they come recover from it. And, you know, there's, it's not to be said about some of the guys who are, are playing well right now. And you mentioned some of the un, you know, the unexpected sources. I mean, yeah, pro far is one of them. But at this point, like you said, he's no longer an unexpected, so I mean, he's the lead and vote getter for crying out loud. So I, I just think you start talking about guys like Matt Waldman, you start ties like Adrian Morty home who's throwing a ball terrific. You start the new newcomers in, in a strata and Merrill. And, you know, you get, if you poke, poke guys in, you know, Iggy Rosario comes in and he's, all he does is hit extra base hits, right? I mean, this, there are nice pockets and stories kind of bubbling up everywhere. But, you know, again, it boils back down to, can they, can they carry on what we just saw at home into this rosary. Boston's playing some pretty good baseball right now. So you're certainly going to have to come to an environment that is, you know, typically not the friendlies. But, it seems like they're up for it right now. It seems like the right time to be going on the road to take on one of these trips. Did you bring your glove with you, Tony Gwen Jr? I'm not asking you to play center field. I'm referring to the fact that from what I've been told in the past, the press box at Fenway Park, and this is your first broadcasting trip there, is like hangs right over home plate. Oh, so we're in range. That's what I've heard. I've never broadcast there, but I haven't either. So we're going to find out tomorrow. I did ask Donorsillo about that the other night and he said, yeah, it can be, it can be an issue. But, I'm scared for Tony now. I'm scared for Dave Marcus. No, he's not telling me to protect Dave Marcus. The fun thing is, I listen, let me tell you, wait a minute, you're ducking out of the way. We'll come to foul balls and there not being a ton of room to kind of maneuver is every man for themselves. They better get his hands up. I know that because they won't be my hand coming up to help him. Yeah, it's going to be fun. I mean, first trip to Fenway Park for the Padres in 13 years. That's, you know, with this balanced schedule, et cetera, I just assumed they'd played there more recently than that, but they haven't. And so that's always fun. And it's such a great ballpark to visit. And, you know, so it'll be a lot of fun this weekend and hopefully the Padres can carry on the the hot play. I want to talk a little bit at length, Tony, maybe in this next segment about the game on Tuesday. First of all, I thought it was one of the most fun games I've been to in a long, long time. Maybe one of the most fun regular season games I've ever been to, considering it was in June, I so many things to unpack from that game. But I want to come to it from the angle that a lot of people are trying to try to say. And I think they're hopefully they're saying it with hopefulness that it's the kind of game, the kind of win, the kind of way they came together and the whole thing that can springboard a team. And as somebody who played, you know, in the major leagues in the big leagues, you know, I think we all are hoping that this will help the the Padres kick something off here. And we'll look back on that Washington game and go, yeah, that was the turning point. That was the one. So I want to get your thoughts on some of that. Also, I want to ask you about this notion that the Padres don't necessarily do a great job of protecting their players. We don't throw it batters. You know, I want to argue that fact because I thought what Manny Machado did the other night, stepping in and basically telling Ruiz to get the hell out of there is going to go a long way. It's another example of the leadership of Manny, which doesn't get enough credit. And of course, the home running hit was about as timely and about as well scripted of a home run as I think I've ever seen coming on the very next pitch. So, you know, Tuesday night's game was great. I mean, I just had so much fun. I hope you did too broadcasting it. Uh, I got to be honest, it's not an easy like a whole bunch of stuff happening at like, one time is not like the best. That's true. It was hard. It was hard because, you know, you get caught up and you're trying not to get caught up in what's going on down there, but you're also getting caught up in what's going on down there. And then when it's happening like, bang, bang, bang, bang. It's just, I don't know, I felt out of sorts through like the first like six innings of that game. And then everything slowed down. Uh, it was by far the most exciting game of the year. I don't think there's very much question on that. But, uh, yeah, lots of impact here, lots of impact here. We'll we'll get to that. Um, after this next break, for sure, we've got a lot more going on in NBA draft is a second round of the NBA draft. My Lakers might have got the steel of the draft. I'm feeling pretty good about this. I feel like good. And there's only, and guess what, Tony, there's only about seven or eight picks until the Lakers come around again. And we find out whether they take money. Well, Rich Paul apparently is telling everyone he might go to Australia now. So, uh, well, we'll find out. I mean, we're going to find their gonna have to make a pick here in about 20 minutes. So yeah, we'll see. We'll see. But we got a lot more to get to, uh, with you guys till five o'clock west coast time, eight o'clock my time, uh, we'll have the round table that follows us. Am I correct on that script? Yes, sir. Yeah, that was all really good. All right. Well, thank you. Thank you. All right. Let's get the break. More going to Chris. We get things rolling. All right. Here we go. segment two. Thursday program, Gwen and Chris. 97 through the fan, Tony Gwen Jr. settled in in Boston, Massachusetts. We asked what you're done with your day off. If anything, or have you just been catching up on rest? A little bit of that. I definitely, I got up at about 10 30, made my way down to Jim rode the bike for 30 minutes. And then I had a boy. Nice job. Got myself a sandwich and, uh, and some tomato soup. Not clam chowder. Yeah, a little chowder. No chowder for you. They didn't wait. Wait, wait, you can't be a Boston restaurant and not have clam chowder going to Idaho and they're out of potatoes. What do you mean? It was a, it was a bakery. A so they didn't have clam chowder. They just had that tomato soup. So I went with that. And I got a rice crispy treat with that was mixed with like a fruity pebble. So well, that's a little treat. You did your bike ride. I had half of that and it like sugar toast me to sleep. And then I got up like 20 minutes before the show. That's why I'm still a little groggy. I told Darren Feeney of the Padres media relations department the other day. It was said he was going on the trip. I told him to, uh, on his day off, uh, take a, uh, take a duck boat tour. Now he said he'd never done that before and, uh, highly recommend it. I don't know if you've ever taken one Tony, but the duck boat is very cool. And Boston is maybe the only city to me that's worth taking a city tour because there is so much history. You really wouldn't believe it. So anyway, I don't know if Darren will do that or did that, but it's a suggestion if you're really bored tomorrow morning. Yeah, I don't want to get, I don't want to do it any water at all. So well, it does go in there. The duck boat does, uh, yes, it drives and then goes into the water. This is the second time we've done the duck boat thing this week. Love the duck boat. I'm a fan and, uh, yeah. So I am gonna, I mean, after a show though, I do plan on trying to find some seafoods around this joint. Well, there's got to be some the hot bed for it. Got to be some Boston mass. Yeah. Are you close to Fenway? Or where are you guys? I from what I gather, it's a 15 minute walk. So I thought that's nice. You plan on doing that? Nice. Very nice. Yeah, so just don't look any Bostonians in the eye as you're walking there. It's dangerous. I've heard what? I'm just kidding, Chris. Tied you're weird. Uh, all right. And I know they're gonna, I know they're gonna be walking on the air since the silty's one. So I know. Yeah, Tony, probably best not to wear your Laker Jersey downtown tomorrow. If I had one, you know, I would. Yes, you would. Yes, you would. Uh, speaking of the Lakers, we mentioned it, they're on the, they're not on the clock yet. The Lakers have the, uh, 25th pick of the second round. Right now, they're on the 15th pick of the second round. So we'll keep an eye on whether or not Bronnie James joins dad LeBron with the Lakers or whether or not somebody else selects them. Also kind of looking out for Keyshot Johnson and maybe Jaden Ladid to get drafted in the second round. I've heard mixed, you know, mixed reports on whether either or both of them might get drafted. So we'll keep an eye on that. But, uh, I did want to go back to the game Tuesday night, Tony, and just kind of take it in order and get some of your thoughts. We didn't get a chance to talk to you really after that game. And, uh, you know, as we said, it was a great night, great game. So fun to be at that game. But let me just get some of your quick thoughts first on jerks and celebration Monday night after the walk off. Uh, was that enough so that the Washington Nationals had a right to be a little bit upset the following day in your mind? I think it's, I think you got to go back further than that. All right. Uh, I think you got to go back for and, you know, jerks in plays, plays with a chip, right? And so they walked Louisa rise intentionally to finish. So that already is. I'm all right. In his mind, at least he's like, I can't repeat what he's probably saying in his mind, but it's something along the lines. All right. You know, I'm, I'm sure, right? And then first pitch, he gets a ball high and tight near his head and he gets de-cleared it basically by the way he, uh, fell. And so yeah, I mean, I don't think he intentionally went to fall like that, but he was in a rush to get out of the way of the baseball. Sure. And his feet just kind of came out from under him. So all of that played into, yes, it did his celebration after the game. Now the intentional walk, I mean, that's just, you're walking a dude who's won two batting titles in front of you that, you know, it's, you know, it's gonna be tough to get anyway. So they picked their poison. They picked pro four. So, you know, it's not so much that part, but certainly the getting brushed back plays into the emotion after you come up with the hit, um, to win the game. And so while I understand it's not necessarily normal to end up on that side of the field on a walk off, uh, you have to calculate, you know, that pitch was high and tight near the head and, and that played into the emotion. So I get where, you know, they were coming from, but you then can't then forget about the pitch that was, whether it was intentional or not up top like that, because I played into his reaction. So the following day, I don't have as much of an issue with Ruiz voice in his displeasure to Jerrickson. Jerrickson seemed to be listening, um, and having the intent on just listening, he wouldn't seem to be reacting. He, he, he, even as my memories was tapping him on his shoulder, um, he still didn't like react in like a crazy way or like pull back. I think just from watching it a few times, a few hundred times at this point. Yeah, right. Um, whatever Ruiz said or tone change that then made Manny feel like he needed to like get him out of there with the push, right? I think, you know, that's what happened. I think he was going to let it right until it got to the point where, you know, Manny felt like, all right, whatever you just said makes me think this could escalate. So get on out of here and then kind of pushed him away. Um, I, I then think there's so much that happens. I was explaining this on the air. There's so much that happens when you're in no situation. Ruiz gets pushed and I don't know that he didn't know or didn't think that there was a bunch of dudes coming because the way he reacted after Manny came was almost as though he thought there was a bunch of Padres already in on the, on the field because he reacted in a way like, I'm defending, I had to defend myself. Like you could see his head come up like I'm about, we're who's, who's, who's next to me, right? Because in those situations, which you would, if you've never been in before, you got to have your head on the swivel because you don't know what the intentions is of anybody and you can't take it as though there isn't, this isn't nothing's going to pop off because that's what something can pop off basically. And so from there, I think, you know, what, what tends to happen is when more people were involved, a lot more stuff can happen, right? As it was just pro form Ruiz and Manny, you know, and nobody was moving. Nobody's touched body. Like had any crazy gestures. It wasn't until Ruiz started to seemingly get a little more hype and Manny had to discarding is when everything kind of came in. And then at that point, Ruiz saw somebody from the Padres side that he had some, some funk with. So he was pointing over that way. You had, you had Mike Schild and David Martinez having a few choice words about what's going on. That kind of stuff happens. It seems like all know everybody was more in peacemaker mode. But let's just say there had been a, it wasn't just a pro far Ruiz situation. Like there's, that could have, you know, another skirmish could have broke off somewhere else. So, you know, it's, it was an exciting moment. It's just so fitting that my man jerks and just always gets the last laugh. Like this year he does. And that's what that's what I'm saying. He, I'm only talking about 2024. Like whether it's the Dodger situation, whether it's him getting, you know, brushed off and then, you know, getting the walk off and then then getting upset and then hitting him, you know, I tend to believe that that was intentional. But, you know, well, Davey Martinez, he basically said it after the game and there's a question on the chat that says, if he said, at least all comments, I know what he said, what he said, what he says was in response to Ruiz, uh, okay, you know, having the work with what he's, what he's talking about. It'd be foolish of him to admit that because look at suspended. Everybody suspended, right? So, I mean, I know he didn't say that, but he was responding to what Ruiz did. Yeah. Now, does it surprise you at all that? Mackenzie Gore was the guy to do it. Why would have the former team. He was ready to fight his own teammate last week. Why wouldn't he be, uh, wouldn't, why wouldn't he throw at somebody if he felt like it needed to be done? That dude is, I don't know if we never got to see it, but Mackenzie can get, you know, he can get to the red hair. You know what I'm saying? Really? He's a pretty clear dude. And when he also liked Sinzel last week, when he felt like Sinzel last week didn't, you know, dog it to a ball, he was ready to have a confrontation with his own teammates. So, of course, if he felt like one of his teammates was disrespected, or if they were disrespected, he would do it. Now, I tell you, he did the same thing every pitcher does after they hit somebody. Yeah. Oh my God. That's a good question. I can't believe I did that. Like, I know what is going on with this. How's that happening? And then he hit him in the shin guard. If I didn't, he hit him there because he didn't want to get thrown at them to hit him there. And he didn't want to get thrown out of the game and the other one bought it. When it's done right, managers don't have to say anything. They, it's, it's just known like there ain't no discussion. There ain't no meeting. You just know what you're supposed to do. And he did it in a way that was slick. Let's just be real. Like, he hit him in the shin and it looked like, oh, he wasn't trying to hit him there. But I mean, did he get anywhere close to anybody else the rest of the game? I don't think so. No. And he didn't even have his best command. Yeah, Tony's right. 100%. And I want to just one last thing on that. I thought the umpires blew it. And I told Scrabie yesterday, I always stick up for umpires, but I'm not sticking up from this time. I think they should have recognized what was going on. I think they should have thrown Gore out of the game right there. If for no other reason, Tony, to try to get control of a game that could have gotten even further out of hand. And I bring that up because Ruiz did come to bat the next inning. And my question to the umpires would be this. What would they have done if Adam Major had turned around and hit Ruiz in the leg? Would they have said, oh, it's fine. You only hit him in the leg. No problem. Or would they have thrown Major out of the game? You know, they would have thrown him out of the game. See, this is this is this opens up all kinds of things. This is also how I feel about the whole sticky situation thing with the baseball, right? Like it's put on the umpires to make a definitive decision on something. And there's no way to absolutely know in the same exact way, right? You can't know whether it was just rosin and sweat versus some substance yet. They got to make that decision all the time. It's no different than the warnings rule. I think everybody assumes that, Hey, they've been given warning. So the next hit by pitch automatically, he's got to go. They used to be they if once somebody got hit the home, the umpires can make a immediate decision. But now they got to actually have a meeting. Try to calculate it. Yeah, there's four there's four different voices now. And so, you know, it it's optics a lot of time. It's it really is it becomes an optics thing. And in that situation, you could make a case that I yes, that's not where I would were where that would have happened that because that's not typically where it happened. So they elected not to inject them. I thought under the circumstances, uh, yeah, they thought they did a decent job. I think it's I think Mike was within his rights to go out and argue that I think every manager who was on that side would have argued the same exact thing. Oh, yeah, you just gave us warnings. That certainly seemed attention to me. But ultimately, it's a judgment call from the umpires. Yeah. And as I said to the to everybody yesterday, they had to kick Mike Shilt out of the game because if they didn't, he would still be arguing right now and you guys would have missed a plane to Boston. So 100%. Yeah, they had to do that. All right, we'll have more on, you know, this sweep of the nationals or stuff. I think a few more things unpack there. Also, the latest on the NBA draft, Tony's thoughts on the Lakers getting their man. Mr. Connect, which is what they're hoping he'll do from long. Connect. Connect. I mean, it raked itself. All right, it does. And I didn't miss it, though, Scrab. It was there for the taking. Gwen and Chris is underway. Matt Scravey. Just unpacking this sweet job the Padres put on the nationals who coming into that series were only a half a game behind the Padres in the wild card pacing. Now they're three and a half. We see you later. Loose three get your booty spanked now you're three and a half on out of here. Padres coming into Boston pretty good to team plan pretty well. Chris before we went to break you said there was a few other things you wanted to unpack so let's unpack. Well it's all from this this weekend this series I mean to me it's going to be you know hopefully the turning point of the season. I mentioned it a few times yesterday and this morning on the round table the Padres have been at the 500 mark 25 times different times this year. Oh yeah by the way I use that. I use that. I got that broadcast. Very good. I got that one in. Well you're welcome for it. Thank you. But I'm what I brought it up this time is because I'm hoping there isn't a 26th time you know. I hope now that they're over 500 they're just going to stay over 500 the rest of the way but of course that remains to be seen but if they do then this national series will certainly be looked upon as a turning point. The thing that also made it great and I want to finish after this with the home runs that Manny and Profar hit but what made it great is that you had the good guys who of course are us were the good guys the Padres were the guys with the white hats the games were in San Diego the fans were cheering you know wildly for Profar wildly for Schilt and Machado and everybody else but the other thing was is there was a couple of good villains in this series which to me ups the ante and the number one villain in the series really wasn't Ruiz. It was actually Jesse Winker who I don't know if you saw the clip Tony but got into it with a fan after the Profar walk off Monday night to kind of I think was a 79 year old gentleman or I have many questions. Gentlemen my gentlemen too much. I've got many questions about this. Well let's talk about it. The old man said you guys are being Bush and Jesse Winker said what's your problem and the old man said well you know it's Bush to throw under a guy's chin like that. I don't know what this guy is doing. Jesse Winker said well what do you think we were trying to hit him with the bases loaded and tie the game but I don't know it's Jesse Winker in the wrong or is this old man got to shut up? I don't know. I mean players got to be getting an argument with some fan. Can you? Of course you can. Of course you could have a good conversation with the fan. Okay I'll say that I only saw the video as the argument was already taking place. So I didn't see if like Winker walked up to him or if he said something. I just saw the clip of Winker for some crazy reason trying to explain to the gentleman why they weren't throwing and that's what I'm saying. I don't know why he was trying to explain that but I thought it was hilarious. He said why why are you arguing with me? I'm 66 would you? 26? That was a great old man. Well I'm going to stick up for the old man because I'm old but you know and then you know I did actually see it you know in the next day I think pro far got retired the last out of the first inning and as he was coming off the field Winker had some words for him as they crossed paths and this was before. If those words were we good? We good? No they were you think? I don't know. Yeah go back and look at I know how I know how everybody wants it to be. Hey pro far I'm coming for you buddy. All right Nathan said that Winker also said he's 26 and you can kick his butt. I think if you remember a Winker Nate the one to mess with I don't know if you remember Winker putting the two-piece on my man in Anaheim like a cup was a last year. Oh yeah but that big old physical. I do give off two to two clean ones whoever that was got knotted up pretty good. We need an off-season fight between Jesse Winker and Tommy fam. I just think it needs to happen. Tommy fam needs to fight someone. Jesse Winker needs to fight someone. In all honesty when pro far was coming off the field before any of the stuff popped off he was asking pro far if we're good because Winker was one of the guys who seemed to be upset at the celebration the night before that was on their side. Got it. All right well then Winker hit the home run anyway and again I don't know Mike. I don't know what's going through his mind but he did a little hippity hop around first base now maybe he always does that or maybe that was just a nod to Fernando I'm not sure. But they didn't appreciate him to anybody. Well at this point again emotions are high because I think he hit the homer after man he hit the homer and you know so here's what he did say though because I turn to Dave and I and I look back like yo I hope they dumped that because he came around home plate and as he got to the mic that hangs right in front of the dugout he said I'm not going to repeat so don't panic that's great. Thank you. He said something along the lines of let's just beat these bleepy bleeps and get up out of here. It was clear it was crystal clear and so I turn back and Dave who was kind of grinning and kind of chuckling and I was like oh man I mean I kind of wanted people to have been able to hear it but I don't think that's so I didn't hear it so it wasn't either removed. It got dumped. It got dumped. Okay. No I got dumped. It got dumped which I think then this I think then had kind of messed up the kind of broadcast a little bit when we dumped it in the live. It took a while to get rid of stuff out. Well yeah exactly. All right. But my whole point of this was that Jesse Wicker played a good bad guy and that's good because it made the series even better. It made it better. I thought the Poetry fans did it great. I thought they were they were I thought they answered the call. Keybirds first that bad after all the thing they booed the mess out of him. Yeah. They was ready. They was ready for it. Well the thing with the old man I'm sorry to keep calling him old man. I don't know his name but he's not that much older than me. So maybe you know you ought to just fool. Would you want to take on Jesse Wicker? How about how about the gentleman? How about the gentleman? Okay the gentleman. Jesse Jesse Jesse smart enough to know he can't know what he can't do. He definitely can't go into the stands. So you know I think you know you can have the conversation but you know the moment you grab that railing and pull yourself up you're completely out. You grabbed the railing. Luckily he didn't know any further. Here's the here's the thing. I'm not someone who likes to likes to like make myself the center of attention at all. Jesse Wicker should have never gone there. But it's like I don't know that I would be sitting there fighting with a player. I would I don't know. But this this this here in lies the world that we live in now because of social media. There is the fear of things have kind of like moved away. Not for me. I mean that's why you survived. The most of us would be like yeah I don't want as he came closer our smoke would lessen right. We wouldn't be like still pressing the issue. But I think most people a lot of people now they don't have that fear of things like he just was comfortable that winker wasn't going to climb the railing. There was a time where you couldn't necessarily be that comfortable. Dudes didn't quite have all of their their scruples together and be able to know you know what this is not a good idea. At least he didn't go Anthony Rendon. I will say. I mean you should Jesse Wicker in the whole thing in my opinion it's on him because he's the player. He's got to turn around and walk away. Ultimately it's not even a real thing. Like I mean nobody got in trouble. His team took the L. I mean there's there's there's nothing other than it being on social media and we just talking about it. I mean it was no consequences to any of it ultimately. They're saying that they did hear by the way. They're saying that they heard it on him. Oh they did hear it. Yes. Yes. On the MBL he MLB they heard Jesse Wicker and apparently you could kind of hear it on the TV call too. So there's place. That's why I'm saying it though. It was I mean it was clear. Like I heard like since they heard it Tony go ahead and say it then so we know what he said. Yeah. Leave it up to Scravey to bleep it. I want to hear it now. Yeah don't spray me with Scravey would turn a stop sign if I did that. I kind of think it's it's a little it's a little lame that we can't play that as a because I think I gotta do two because it's different. I I feel the same way because it really allows you to feel like the emotion when all that stuff is happening right. You you would have turned everybody who heard it would have been with at least had like a little grin like oh okay he's there this is this is going to be something tonight. We're gonna have ourselves a good one and we did. Yeah we did. Man I wish I wish I wish I wish the mic on the Padres side caught that kind of stuff. They don't ever catch that kind of stuff. It's usually only on the business side. So we need we need the same mics. Was Manny's home run about the most perfect timing for a home run you think you've ever seen? I mean is there I mean other than the bottom of the ninth of a world series but yeah that was the no this is even better because it was literally the thing. It was literally the next pitch he threw like oh you know hit my boy oh I got you. That was and you know what so crazy is is is we I think Jesse and I were so like caught up in what was happening. I thought that ball was going to hit the scoreboard. I really did. When I was at the same thing. Yeah Jesse did. From where your angle you probably that's what it looked like. I thought it was headed for you know second deck at least and then it went like four rows over the over the wall and left. Had the same effect it didn't it didn't really matter how far it went in this situation because no of what had just transpired but man that was a that was a that was a fun weekend. I mean even even the first game that you know you know it just it all was just a good series for yeah for the Padres. Well Manny's home run I will say this it tested the rule that you're not allowed to cheer in the press box because I mean I was in the press box and it was tough not to jump up and go oh my god that was awesome because it just was you didn't have to like be rooting for anybody you know but it just was I mean that the fact that he was able to do that and of course I mean you know I almost expected pro-fart head to Grand Slam the way his years yeah yeah by the time he came up I'm like forget it he's he's gonna he'll cook one down the line and of course he did all right what a week it was Padres take out the gnats and you know the other thing that that's I think you know we've been talking about the pods and being able to sustain this while you know as you said the four the big four well I think the one things that's happened that has allowed this right is when Todd or when Manny kind of went down and Bo you went down Todd he got hot right and the offense was able to kind of sustain it because he was blazing hot now it feels like Manny starting to do the same thing as as Toddy is is going to be down for a little bit and so that's you know this offense has yet to have everybody on on hitting on full cylinders and they won't have it for a while at least until the after the all-star break would everybody but it's nice to see Manny look like his legs are on them like the ball is just like he's starting to be Manny one thing to circle on your calendar by the way once the all-star break is over the Padres go to Cleveland and then they go to Washington DC so yeah I know they tried to I know they tried to keep keyboard out of that last game I had you know there's three more to come in Washington so stay tuned stay tuned let's get the break four o'clock hour on the way a little daily gambit or Gwyther Chris and we are swinging our way back into action here 301 is the time 601 in Boston Mass. Tony Gwyn Jr. is there. Cressello, Matt Scrabie here. The Odyssey Palace Studios, San Diego, California. Tomorrow the Padres will take on the Boston Red Sox. Game one of a three-game series bad news. Game not on local television because it's on Apple TV only. Great news though. You can watch the game if you subscribe to Apple TV and when you go there to watch the game on Apple TV you can choose and get your choice of radio broadcasters dang dang dang that right the light should go on you get your choice of radio broadcast so you can listen to Jesse and Tony while you watch the game I will give which is something that you normally cannot always do I hate Apple with all of my being but I will give him this that's a great idea because if they if no one wants to listen to their announcers you get your choice of your home radio guys let me tell you something if you know who the Apple TV announcers used to be I don't know who they are now I don't either actually but if it's who they used to be believe me you want to listen to Jesse and Tony is it right I know right maybe Ryan Spielberg I don't know who it is but I just listened to Jesse and Tony tomorrow night and be done with it be done with it spillies on there now I like spilling he's a good guy good girl remember who the guy I don't know that it really doesn't matter because they're gonna listen to Jesse and Tony but tomorrow night's game that's right that's exactly right you'll have to watch it on Apple TV so I will say I just don't subscribe I really do like the Apple graphics though I will say that they're pretty sweet it's pretty simple they put the there's not a whole lot going on they got the score up there it's pretty easy to follow and now you can have Jesse and I's voice to go with those cool graphics very nice yeah whatever they do I will say this because I got to say this because I got to stick up for you know the world of you know cable television cable yeah I can't I can't hit behind more and more sporting events going to streaming I just I can't support that I have to try to hold it off as long as I can uh Don't your will is is apparently an analyst Donald Apple TV the Donald Josh knows one of them Heidi Watney Trisha Whitaker Alex Faust who's the Wayne Randazzo who's the play by play Wayne Randazzo yeah Wayne Randazzo uh forget Wayne is with uh Wayne is with the with the angels yeah good guy but not tomorrow night sorry Wayne now listen to you oh wait I got a preview this is a preview of the big five question with Michael K getting all fired up yesterday so we'll we'll get to that in the four o'clock I find I heard a great story on Michael K and his home run call today really great story yeah and it was I don't know it made me like Michael K more even more she was basically like they were asking he was on Rich Eisen show and he was asking Rich or Rich was asking him about his home run call where did it come from see he said yeah he said that he actually stole it from this young lady he was dating at the time um he said that every time he said it every time he would drop it up drop her off at her place she would get out the car and she would say see ya wouldn't want to be ya so that's where he came up with so he's and so he said he just he started he started playing with it he said obviously you know the wouldn't want to be apart didn't necessarily fit and so I just started saying see ya and that's how it came about see my man was out there living his best life dating and came up with his home run call because he said it pisses Yankees fans off because he uses it also for the road team he doesn't just use oh he does use it that is interesting to now know that yeah I wouldn't do I would not honestly not do anything that ticks off Yankee fans I think Jesse best if I was the play by play but he's also he's also a New Yorker so I don't know that they really have it in them to kind of give in and back down to something I know that Jesse when a visiting team he calls the visiting team home runs different every time but sometimes he does have a really depressed gonna go sure just like that I think I think that's the moment the moment dictates it yeah yeah I think so I mean if you want to hear some really depressed home run calls pretty easy to find the Washington Nationals calls of Manny's home run and Pro Fars Grand Slam the other night that is some depressed home runs trouble that is a grand slam well the other one they were just whining honestly yes they were well look at those guys oh man he's jogging to for he's walking to first base so is Pro Fars carrying on oh they're all coming out of the dugout like they just won some big thing winers leave hey you know leave my colleagues alone oh okay I'll leave your colleagues they were going through it over there too bad for that having a tough time they'll have their chance like I said pottery is go to DC at the end of July right after the all-star break all right we're gonna get to the daily gamut shortly but the NBA draft second round is kind of getting interesting now because well here's the thing they're on the let me see they're on the 20 24th pick in the second round the 25th pick in the second round belongs to the Lakers so they're only one more away from everybody finding out whether or not the Lakers are going to take Bronnie James with the second round pick and I take it he has not gone if we have certainly not been drafted yet they just put it up on the board he is the seventh best available according to whoever makes those ratings and let's see the Celtics just picked number 24 afford from Gonzaga Anton Watson so now the Lakers are on the clock Tony you must be out of me buddy because I might be I'm watching right on live TV so I probably am a little ahead of you but the Lakers are on the clock oh you're watching live TV too okay that's my oh okay no the the the fake just came Anton Watson exactly all right so we're pretty close I'm a little bit behind we're close but anyway that let's just talk about you know first getting a Dalton connect from Tennessee who was really one of the best players in the nation last year if it wasn't for yes he was Zack Edie you know being who he was this guy probably would have been the number one guy in all the college basketball and I will say this he put on a he put on a hell of a show in the uh in the I think it was the elite eight tennis he got to this year I forgot who they lost to might have lost even to Purdue and Zack Edie I'd have to look at my brackets but he personally put on a hell of a show and you get the feeling that his game's probably going to translate to the next level and I like what everybody's saying about him Tony they're not really talking about him as a shooter they're talking about him as a gamer and a hard worker those are the things that help make you a really good NBA player along with your talent so yeah he's a Hooper man uh I was I was stunned when I got off the plane and saw that's who they got I mean this dude can play he had I think he had over 35 a couple different times during this season um he can she he the one thing you got to have if you if you're drafting for a team that has uh LeBron James and Anthony Davis is someone that you could just plug in like you don't have to develop like developmental players don't work well with those type of players and so at the age of 23 he's got some seasoning he can be plugged in right away because his skill set transfers immediately and that is he can shoot the rock and not only can he shoot the rock he's athletic he can slash and so I think it's a I don't know that they could have got a better fit for this roster and what they actually need it um uh for this Blakea roster so I don't know if they take LeBron or if they take Bronnie James or not but um I certainly like the 17 pick that's a really good strong one well we're gonna hang on because the Lakers have to get their pick in the next 90 seconds so I want to hold out and see if they get Bronnie James but you know if Magic Johnson endorsed the pick that's that's a good start uh I will say that you know the game I watched which was the Elite 8 game uh he's also capable of getting his own shot Tony and I know that with LeBron James he's not gonna have to do that as much but he's he can get up in the air for his jumper he can shoot over guys and he's got a smooth six eight yeah six six seven six eight so I mean we'll see I mean you never know a hundred percent but it's looking good shaking hands they got the pick in yeah they got the pick in let's see who it's gonna be if it's Bronnie James this is gonna be crazy JJ Radick in the press conference man this was the best bleep and pick I've ever bleep and had in my life man all right so you're always great about your hilarious hey you guys you guys were over the swearing - I still can't get over that well then why are you swear yeah I mean well yeah well get you could get over it now how many days ago was it I mean a long time ago you still hang talking about that well it just came to mind when it would fly I am feeling more optimistic about JJ I must say I don't know if it's because he's already signed and has the Lakers you have no choice but to love him just like or just like I have to love the toss bosellus whoever that is but he was the number one pick of the balls and I think he's gonna be the best player in the league I have no choice but the root for him I think we're gonna get the news before you do Tony and we're gonna get it right now the chat spoil the chat well don't say I'm not going hold off one second isn't Bronnie James yes it is it is Bronnie James they take him Tony with the second round pick how do you like that Tony speechless I mean I like it but I do have like some concerns for me that's a lot for that is a lot of that's a lot to put on and move it whoa I think I think he'll be fine I think the Lakers develop so I think he's gonna I think he's gonna have a chance to really develop the thing that I think about is like what is it let's say he ends up good enough like and he's in the same locker room as his dad like right he makes the team and everything yeah man maybe even not even up to begin to see maybe if it's down the line maybe if it's next year like what does that dynamic look like you know I don't think anybody's ever seen him not just for NBA before yeah not just not just LeBron and between the bride but with the teammates how do they like what is that's just I can only think of one clubhouse that's ever had to do it it was the Mariners right I mean Griffin Griffin if you're ever seen it right I think if I don't know if I'm JJ Redick I put a call into Ken Griffey jr and ask him how did it work I mean do you do something worse do you think this pick is good for him though good good for Brian he got his name that's all he really wanted yes I thought now do you think the work pick is more for LeBron or is it more for the organization I mean I think that if they didn't feel like he they could develop them into something that could help them when they wouldn't have drafted I buy that I think at least that much is true but I think also I think that's I think that's enough to wear you know exactly with LeBron they can go ahead and do it I think that you know LeBron being there helps that case for sure but you know if they just felt like he just couldn't play at all I have a hard time seeing them give up I agree with that I agree with that and I'll be honest I mean second round picks do not just automatically make it on NBA teams in fact very few of them actually make it so that is not I was listening to I was listening to brawny's agents tell tell what's his name rich paul um that I think the 2016 or 18 draft like there's 22 guys that aren't even in the league anymore and those are all first rounders so this ain't even this there's no guarantees especially in basketball I mean I know oftentimes we focus on like the one two the three four five picks that typically don't but there are a lot of first round pickers picks that don't pan out oh yeah for sure all right so that's pretty exciting news brawny james is drafted by the Lakers we will take a break check some traffic for you when we come back we will get into that promise to daily gambit stuff on me and Chris give me a second all right take a second you're not ready what else is negative wow wow wow geez all right here's traffic six twenty one my way 321 back in San Diego I just got a funny text from Don I've been giving them a bunch a bunch of I've been giving it to him here in recent days and so I reached out recently just like five minutes ago I asked him if there was any um if there's any restaurants around here that he would suggest and he basically told me to go pound sand so I had a good laugh about that go pound I don't think he said pound sand did he he didn't say pound sand I didn't think so what he asked that Donor solo guy got to help you out a little bit come on you need a little help yeah you know I just had I definitely deserved the oh you deserve it isn't your town anymore oh he's there long enough I mean he said he hasn't he was still nowhere to go grab some good food you would still know that's true yeah that's true you know Chris kind of got me uh thinking about you know seafood stuff so help him out help a guy out get a nice lobster bisque the lobster bis maybe some clam chowder yes please you can have chowder yeah I told Don the other night that the uh Chris has been name dropping Donor I've been dropping a little bit so much well he's trying to elevator the other night he's been he's been behind the scenes a lot here later yeah I've been coming back on and hanging out yeah but he said I told him I said the Twitter verse loved his home run call on the man named Machado he's got a lot of love and he uh he was appreciative of that but he also he didn't say consider the source I think somebody behind him said consider the source and he laughed but I love this man named Machado call did you hear it Tony I did not he said well hold on oh you got to hear it I mean Jesse's was fabulous you guys you guys are great but he his call Don really hit a home run himself on this here listen to this Tony if you get a Chris you got to give me a second I'm giving I'm trying to stall trying to stall he's like have you heard the call scraping play it play it now give me a second oh you're still looking for it still looking for it oh my goodness all right have it on the fingertips baby here it is and man Machado should they give me a pay I ride deep left field linker back at the wall take that says man in Machado Pro for his fired up and he should be they hit him intentionally and then many hits went out of the yard intentionally and the Padres say it's you know they may have a there you go there you go there you go it was good right how about them apples he said how about uh pro far they hit him intentionally so man he hit one out of the park intentionally he's just out here law and order and I'm telling them that they hit him on purpose that's right time was playing sheriff Don who's playing sheriff we got some good uh we got some we got some good play by play guys yes we do it's fun to go through it all so great job by everybody on that game that game's gonna live on for a while yeah it is this is for sure yeah I mean I see part of the reason why I'm hesitant to talk about like this is being an earmarked game right because you remember in 2021 Jesse and I were doing like the the we were like keeping track of all the moments because yeah oh yes yes and a book that was never published we never published a book because the last two months of the season were like the worst like imploded and so I just I don't know I don't know if it's superstition or I'm just playing it safe I just don't want that to happen again so these moments are great but uh let's let's just let them keep winning ball games all right we've hit on this quite a bit let's play let's get to this daily gambit that we we didn't get to last segment do you like money I think about money do you like money without doing anything winning do you want to make money while watching sports I think Washington is immortal luck Washington if you answer yes this is your segment just don't blame us when you lose nothing is ever your fault it's okay take it when and Chris go through the top bets of the day in the daily gambit on 97 3 the fan daily gambit our daily sports bang segment here on Gwen and Chris please everybody gamble responsibly we had a comment on the chat Tony and I thought the same thing people are like trying to scope out your room it's kind of uh it's kind of revealing when you do your shows from your hotel room isn't it yeah you know what I've left this door but I don't have to close it yeah there we go now we're in a well in a good spot uh so we made these bets on Tuesday and the first one we made was the New York Liberty -5 on the spread was that like blinding no no it wasn't blinding people were just trying to see what was going on inside your room you know Tony I was doing the same thing so I notice he stays in nice looking hotels and I stay in when I go places I notice that scrape I'm just saying where they tell me this no I know what they tell me to say not of your doing Chris is that like yes Hojo Howard Johnson they still have Hojo's actually I read about this the other day there's like only like two or three left in the country or something we do we do have the uh i can't recall seeing one no we don't go to Hojo's but we do have the corner market uh the market cornered on spring spring field mariot to where those are okay spring sweet spring fields I know it's sweet yeah spring field I don't know yeah at least that's those but anything is better than what Adam Klug books us when we go to spring dream there's no question Adam's the worst book of all time the absolute worst book of all time there's like caution tape around the place it's like sorry there is actually a murder here last night but you guys can stay here for this kind of dream my wife loves to come on that spring training trip but even she has said I can't go anywhere yeah Laurie literally goes into a hotel and says even if it's there's no vacancy we need two rooms yeah she won't stay she will she will not stay at the hotel that Adam looks wrong anyway so the way it is this episode vacation wait what yes yes yes yes okay it makes sense sorry uh carry on the liberty of the links the chris shows minnesota i chose the liberty and the links actually won so 94 89 chris wins that one uh it was the next one was who's going to score more in the game call your or steward brand a steward you said call your i said steward steward 24 call your head 21 close yes it was close the nationals were minus one and a half were on favorites over the padreas on tuesday night chris shows the nationals i chose the padreas and the padreas won nine to seven then it was who pitched more innings cal henryx or adam major chris chose cal henryx i chose adam measure cal henryx actually went seven ended up losing cal henryx has been pitching a lot better the since they brought him back from the bullpen i um adam major went five innings so henryx wins that one and then mckenzie gore over under five and a half strikeouts didn't even close both of us went over he only had one strikeout in the game you know the other thing that happened in the game tuesday night that we you know so many things happen uh the padreas snapped their streak of not being able to score more than three runs against a left-handed pitcher so uh hopefully we won't have to bring that up anymore because they they did that against mckenzie gore and they also did it yesterday uh they got i think four runs off the hertz the little lefty starter for washington yesterday so hopefully that that streak of stuff is over all right here's we go for tonight uh it's mostly wnba uh las vegas ten and a half defending champs favored at chicago over angel reese and the sky mmm scrape oh vegas has been struggling for a defending champ but they're probably better than chicago yeah i think the sky are pretty bad right um i don't know they're they're improved the fever in the sky or the two teams i'm gonna go with vegas you're gonna go with las vegas get ten and a half points yeah i don't know just the old betting logic says you take the home team plus ten and a half that's a lot so i'll take chicago tony you want to get in on this yeah i'm gonna take chicago too on this one all right how about at home sure how about angel reese this is pretty impressive for a rookie i mean i must say her over under is 11 and a half rebounds so she gets a lot of rebounds that's it yeah it's got like six six or seven straight double doubles that's uh that's a pretty big number uh why not do it again as playing on las vegas and she'll kick this from doing it i'm gonna say under tonight mmm tony um sorry i'm looking at the usa soccer thing um what was it yeah no she's gonna go under angel yeah angel wilson's no joke all right yeah under we both say under scribe you want to say it you're gonna go under yeah okay kaitlyn clark and her uh takes her indiana fever into seattle tonight take on the seattle i think it's a storm and they're favored by nine oh the fever food's favored by seattle favored by nine okay so tony's first on this one yeah we're gonna storm on this go seattle scribe yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah indiana's played better but yeah they're no match it's a western road swing always difficult uh kaitlyn clark's over under for points is 17 and a half scribe it your first here 17 and a half that's about her average i think she's averaging 16 and 6 i think she's getting better i'm gonna say over over again always tough on the road i'm gonna say under she has a tough night tonight on the road tony yeah i'm also going to say under i think uh if i never if i recall krick this is one of the guards that gave her some issues early so i'm gonna say under okay uh angels host the tigers tonight this is a game of titans uh tigers are favored by one and a half runs um the halos have some picture i've never heard of going in this game davis daniel so a young guy jack flarity pitched really well his last name is first name reversed yeah he did there you go davis it says davis daniel no no i'm not saying no no oh you're saying he has his name i say egal okay that's you thank you okay i'll take flarity jack and the tigers in this game i'm flarity tony didn't you uh yeah we can you take flarity jack in the in the in the tigers tigers that's great you're going with the daniel jack has been great so flarity jack all this one tigers and the last one today Carlos Rodon to the Yankees Jose burrios of the blue jays they match up tonight in taranto which picture gets more strikeouts tony Rodon burrios burrios uh burrios Rodon is struggling Rodon's struggling he Rodon looked almost unhittable when he was here a month and a half ago it's great how about you yeah i read about his tears not that long ago though like last week at the struggling now all right it's great maybe i'm gonna go burrios burrios all right just because i didn't know that he was struggling i'll go through a dawn based on the what i saw when he was here all right there's our deal a little daily gambit stuff now we've got a new segment coming up next yeah another one of these i have no idea how it's gonna go yeah well i mean the last one you came up with wasn't that bet all right no but i'm nervous about this one because it seems to me like you're gonna be trying to pry into our private lives i'm up for grabs too is that what you're doing you're prying into our private lives i'm not gonna go too far into it this could go nowhere i'm just saying this could go nowhere because we did try something like this years ago and it was called uh the hot seat and the hot seat wasn't very hot because i couldn't ask the questions i wanted to ask so well is this they do want on tv uh on one of those shows where it's called plead the fifth and what they do is they ask like five really embarrassing questions to the person the celebrity and then the celebrity can only plead the fifth on one of them i've seen this show i've seen that yeah i think it was on what singled out on mtv i don't know what to show it is but maybe we should put a plead the fifth into this next segment here because i don't know how do i don't know what you want i don't know what you're gonna want to get you in trouble uh i promise what you said last time you don't believe i don't believe you at all scrape i'm just telling you hey i'm up for grabs too so all right it's all coming up next but you don't do it you what do you got going you don't do anything what do you got going honestly that's not what i meant i know that's not does that what i've been we will explain i feel kind of crazy i'm gonna go i'm gonna go cry in the hallway and then we're gonna play on the other side hi welcome back three four oh three forty is the time chris ello tony guin jr where it's six four oh in boston and uh i guess since down or solo won't help you maybe we should ask people in the chat who might you know no people he ended up he ended up coming through he ended up coming through tony he did the right thing not a boy all right so tony's all set for dinner tony's all set for dinner scraping i'll have to fend for ourselves out here on the west coast in san diego i'm eating salad to make salad for you that's kind of been your go-to ever since the i've not lost days yes you're doing all of a job the physical therapy told me i'm not allowed to be walking taking walks and i'm like i i you can't take a walk because of the shoulder yeah because apparently even when i'm not moving the arm there are stuff in my shoulder that are being affected by the walking motion so i'm not allowed to do that they're saying that you can run you can walk like the girl from um uh it's first taken what do you mean i've seen the first taken years so you know when she runs to her dad at the airport you know she she's running oh yes she doesn't she doesn't use her arms at all that is such a random memory so i guess you can walk like that and not use your show you just kind of that's no straight i know even then i guess you still yeah i guess even then you still moving i can feel i can vouch for scravey's uh shoulder recovery pain because not a minute goes by in the hour before the show when we're getting ready in the other off and the other studio that scravey doesn't just intermittently go ow i can't do that on the show all the time yeah on the show we can't really do it but he's always doing that now so i can whenever he moves in a certain way it's just yeah he's always hurting so i can 100 percent i can 100 percent see him hear him and see him oh yes he's doing it sometimes you can see me on the camera when i go reach for something and it hurts i just go yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah the shoulder surgery Matt Scravey two and a half weeks ago recovering nicely yeah the NBA draft is over guys and gals uh i think the probably the biggest news of it all was that brawny james was indeed taken by the lakers in the second round that will probably overshadow the other 57 picks that were made uh i will say this neither keshot johnson nor jadon ledi were drafted however according to sham shirina he's a big-time NBA guy that breaks news like this uh keshot johnson has already signed a two-way deal with the miami heat which means i guess you're kind of g league and heat and depends which squad you make so keshot johnson's gonna get his first shot in the nb with the heat i imagine jadon ledi will work something out similar with somebody and uh yeah i think you know you got to take a chance on jadon ledi i mean some of these guys that were drafted are stiffs compared to him so please yes yes yeah they are well i mean that's to your point that is why at least that's the rumor why the lakers got my man at 17 pick is because of his age two old yes that's 23 yeah and so he slides be he the top ten players slid seven spots beyond where he was you know in the realm of being right because of uh his age which is that's a vehicle guy could come in and help you like right away i mean it's not like when you draft a rookie you have to then sign him to a 10 or 15 year deal to make like it if he doesn't work out he doesn't work out especially in the second round but well you can get a 21 year old and have him go to the g league for two years and then you get him when he's 23 anyway thank you so anyway good luck to jadon ledi uh i'm sure he'll latch on he should he'll get his opportunity and i i'm confident he'll prove himself kishah johnson will get his shot with the miami heat we'll check traffic and then we'll take our best shot from scrapie's new segment all right so i've been inspired because in studio we have all of these different board games now or at least the card games we have one called mind the gap i know that uh there's another one over there it's like who who uh everybody knows and the mid-day show Annie and elston they do ask us anything so i wanted to do a guining chris faq frequently asked questions because i do get a lot of questions about you guys and then i bought a book on ice breakers icebreaker questions that i have also went through and found some of the best ones so here's how it's going to work chris i am going you're going to roll the die since you love rolling the die okay and one through four it doesn't five six doesn't matter one through four will determine who gets to go first with the question okay who has to answer the question first there's only three of us though but but there's a okay good point thank you there's a chris there's a tony category there's a scrapie category and then there's a group category okay so questions on all of us so go ahead roll the die for the first one six okay of course four four would be a group question okay so the group question this one's a good one if you guys are going to have to answer i'm you know and i know he wrote this down on the sheet our sheet i'm not looking at it okay i don't want to know where you're going here so have you guys ever been so this was actually asked to me by someone have you guys ever been so mad at each other the show almost ended i would categorically say absolutely not you recall a time i don't know that the show almost ended but i think we were hanging on threads for like a day maybe what yeah there's a reveal what it was there i know scraping and i have gone at it a couple of times before a show yeah yeah i don't know that it would end at the show i think correct professional so it wouldn't end at the show but it was it was definitely uh it was definitely you know no there was no talking in between segments let's just say that and i had to go into the boss's office and they pulled me in there to like talk about it i wouldn't say that we were close to ending it was never that point but we were we were it was it was a weird time it was like in the it was like within the first two years that like i think a lot of that was happening yes yes yes but i put it on i don't remember i'll fill you in in the break no i won't because i'll be in i want i want to i want to think that it's all been wonderful the whole time nothing but for the most part it has we've lasted six years together that's a lot have you certainly had a we've had a few disagreements but i would say that tony and i i wouldn't say this about you necessarily you're pretty combative but i don't think neither tony or i or even combative people no no but this one time i'm talking about there may have not been combative combativeness but there was a time when there was frayed nerves all right well tony are we thinking at the same time i think we are okay you are okay let me roll the dice again yes we're gonna get out of that one yes go ahead four oh my gosh okay i like these fours the group group yes right we're all we're all in ah this is a good one oh boy what a noise you most about our our boss adam and this is a group answer so we have to come to this together as a group he's not listening right now i can tell you that and it won't go down recorded anywhere that he can't go back and listen i i doubt this and nobody listening uh tip him off on anything um i guess i'll say we'll talk but it's all good i guess i'll start what a noise most about our boss i i i i have i have a really easy one that right throw it out there yeah you go out there start there we'll work from there i hate the emails that we that on articles that we most certainly have read like espn front pagers yes yes adam wants to make sure that we know everything that's going on out there and i think sometimes he forgets the fact that we also want to know what's going on out there and that we do pay attention to what's happening so he will email us something like or we'll open our phones in ten minutes did you guys talk about brawny james yet yes that's a perfect example yeah i'm gonna text adam like i'm gonna get a text from adam tomorrow did you go see the brawn james was drafted did you talk about him yeah that is a perfect example yeah i give you i give you one more and this is specific to me is when he sends me news about the pajres yes he does it's like Tony did you see that for animals i put on the i l that is that's what it will some days is be like oh just barely put my phone down but the nicest way to say this is it's only because he really does care exactly exactly we wouldn't be joking about it if we didn't understand that that's a good answer to that question sometimes when he runs into the room and he tells us stuff too and he's like we all just sit in silence after he leaves the room oh oh he's just hovering outside the window oh oh that would be mine because i'm like what do you want no i'm just gonna get him uh what do you roll why don't you just stop while we were ahead we had a really good answer at the beginning and then you can't throw everything else in that's how i do it that's how i do it number one this time oh that's a crisp question all right here we go what is the worst thing you have ever said on the radio the worst thing yes i don't know it might have been the other day uh no i don't think that was real i'm not going to bring that up i think the you know i just said to me it was the only time i swore you swore on the air oh an intention the update yeah when i did the sports update and i said that your dad was too hit shy of three thousand but i didn't say it's in shy he could buy the worst scary reverse to make a sign that was embarrassing um i didn't hear that oh yeah it was right anyway well i'll tell you the full thing but yeah i just i it was not much i could do just came out that way did you get a talking to no okay all right i think everybody thought it was by accident i i probably said a few i i think the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to was the time that the golden state warrior guy who was drafted Todd Fuller was online oh yeah waiting to be interviewed and i and coach and i were talking about him and i said i don't know this guy's gonna be a stiff and then the next thing is they brought him on the air and he's like oh my god he was waiting on hold probably waiting on hold i was like oh my god that's brutal that is brutal all right roll the die oh please okay uh five and sixes or two this time oh that's a tony question okay tony have you ever stabbed a friend in the back no that was quick answer yeah no ten toes down baby nope ten toes down what does that mean i mean you got if if i'm your friend i'm loyal i don't i don't there's no stabbing in the back i will agree with that with tony tony's a very loyal person go ahead chris another four uh we've avoided the three so far do we want to go with one for me no okay i'll just go go to the back all right uh next one is if you could make a rule for our office what would it be i know it mine would be yeah we could each go single early on well i would just ask people to come to work you you chris hates that this place i hate the fact that there's nobody here yeah everybody's allowed to work from home it drives me crazy my rule i have so many where do i begin my rule would probably be only one person allowed in the bathroom at a time oh yeah this guy is such a weird you are a little weird about that i i've seen him like almost bursting because he can't he has to go to the restroom and he'll start to walk out and somebody'll sneak in ahead of him and he'll come back in here for another second i will and he's already in total pain i will i will do that yeah all right one more oh tony what's your rule tony you got a rule i don't really have he's not here during the office yeah he's not or the all right it came up one oh it came up one i'm gonna okay we're going with the die i'm getting out of this one oh how many people sorry lory did you date before lory oh i don't know seriously seriously uh like i mean seriously date yeah not like go on a date but like call girlfriend maybe for okay all right that makes sense yeah it wasn't uh i was you know it's into my baseball and my i'm not saying that it's wrong for you to have for it i would say i'm with you i was into my baseball too all right we um that's it all right no no it just came up three let's go just get one in get one in all right what bothers you most about chris no i'm just kidding ha ha what is my most embarrassing drunk moment um i'm gonna have to hold this one till after the break because i think we'll all come back to hear what it was yeah it was pretty bad it was pretty bad all right that's coming up more going in chris plus chris versus the fans two eight three three two eight eight oh nine seven three into the four o'clock hour slash seven o'clock hour we go tony goin jr chris solo matt scravy i'm here in boston and uh they are back in beautiful sunny san diego scravy got hit with the die worst or what was it best story what was it yeah what was my most embarrassing drunk moment most embarrassing drunk moment i should just preface this with i haven't drank in over seven years because these drunk moments caught up with me and i needed to stop drinking so i am on that path but it's always fun to relive the past and uh i have two stories one i don't remember at all and one i i'm hazy remembering but the one i don't remember at all was a thanksgiving at my family's house and that my family likes to knock back wine on thanksgiving so i decided to knock back a ton of wine on thanksgiving and i went for a swim in the pool so i needed to change and i needed to do that and get my bathing suit on so i go outside there's about 30 people inside looking at me doing this and i didn't realize that there was a light on but i was doing that change you know when you put the towel around you and you put down your shorts and you put the other shorts on so that you can just change right there well i was too drunk to realize that the towel had dropped and so i was full frontal in front of my entire family for about 45 seconds and um the next day everybody kept asking me why i was so cold last night and i couldn't figure it out for the life of me shrinkage yeah i couldn't figure it out for the life of me but they still to this day bring that up all the time so that was an incredibly embarrassing moment that's pretty embarrassing and then my grandpa was like angry at me which he should have been angry at me because then my little niece or my little cousins were there right that's not very gentleman of you you got kids around and you just over here yeah not good yeah not good the other one is is free free free the other one's a total maths gravy moment but before radio i worked in a business where we would go do conferences and then every two of the days of the conference they would have like a happy hour reception after and i like to get after it at the happy hour reception and so i meet this guy who is you know he's just standing at a table i walk up to him i'm saucy already and i'm talking to him about someone was this it was this a normal practice for you when you were saucy just walk up to randoms yeah yeah it was not anymore normal practice but i started talking to this guy don't talk to anybody anymore exactly exactly yeah but i started talking to this guy because i was a it was a producer of this conference and so i had to deal with this one woman who was one of the worst human beings i've ever met in my life to this day and he comes and so i just go off about how horrible this woman is and how she might be the worst person i've ever met in my life i can't wait to you know never talk to her again she walked up and stood next to him it was his wife and did you tell who it was did i tell him who it was yes i did because she was speaking at the conference and so i pointed to the program and i was like you know this one right here this one right here don't even go to her speech because she's terrible he was just sitting there like listening to you too he didn't cut you off for like three minutes because he knew she was getting a drink and she was going to be there at any moment and i i almost died in that moment we go i got in a lot of trouble for that i got in a lot of trouble i bet you did because this person was kind of a big deal in the world of of like marketing and uh we paid for their hotel their flights and everything and they they oh you know she with tone whoever was up the chain like she wanted to she wanted to trash she went and she trashed me to my bosses and my bosses turned around and just let me have it and that were they still were they still your bosses after yes they kept me on on board but that was one of the worst moments of my life house or one of the worst moments anyway i'm impressed scurvy you're you're impressed scurvy scurvy all right that was pretty that was pretty uh cringy to listen to i must say i got plenty of that comes from yeah yeah the next time we roll the dice you can give your second and third favorite story if i go on for a while all right i think we are in line for some chris versus the fan i haven't been a part of this in a while and as a matter of fact i will only be uh a participant in listening because i don't have uh the questions or the people in front of me so uh scrappy i will turn the uh honors over to you my friend all right if you had one shot one opportunity to take down the human all manack himself how do you do now is your time listen to me this guy is dangerous now is your opportunity to win a prize well i hope you know gen four chris versus the fans starts now on 97 three the fan all right chris you've been pretty good lady i have to say you've been tearing people up left i'm probably due for a bad day then uh okay well we'll see about that you've been just so good lately i don't know the bad days coming but you have uh or i should read the prize first instead of just going on there you're going to be qualified for a to make it through three questions each question will get more difficult if you get the question right you move on if you get it wrong and chris gets right you're eliminated but if chris gets it wrong then you move on to the next question or you win if you're a first time playa let us know before the first question and you will get that question for free okay i think i got everything sorry it's okay it's okay don't worry tony let's go to mat and lakeside hello mat what what's up guys ready to play i'm ready all right here we go what part of the field is the green monster located at fenway left field left field threads i don't know if you've been to uh me no i'm an s tony have you played in fenway and tony interleak play i have i haven't got to play defense i got to that was a d h the one game i got to start here in fenway i thought the green monster in person was smaller than i so much smaller than i thought i was going to be just towering over the field yeah yeah but you know it's it's big but yeah the whole the whole fenway park is smaller than i thought it was same with city fields city fields tiny too and so are the seats you got to go on the s d fat lost diet if you want to go to the fenway park definitely made for the petites that is true don't have a big rear end because you're not sitting in no seats you can't i hope they uh they they have changed the trough situation in the bathroom because troughs are should be trough eliminated you know that like big bathtub that they have off situation like in front of dudes they never mind all right oh that's right they still have to do yeah you know what the trough is discussing it's disgusting disgusting work there right there so so gross that's what i mean that's what i mean that's how you know that stadium is old yeah that is how all the stadiums used to have would you go to trough isn't that what it's called a trough i don't i've never asked anybody oh wow the bath the bathtub for pee is that what it's going on all right moving on i'm grossed out all right so i got gross all right thank you just trying to play a game here that's like them grossed out too now all right here we go question number two on tuesday and i who scored for the padre as when pro far hit his walk off um i'm gonna go with it jake crone and worth two people scored didn't i yes just got to guess two people you want one more guy guess one more guy might as well guess another player um all right arise stay there i'm pretty sure arise did not score because he was walked intentionally so he was on first base as far as what a detective you are i know and uh brice johnson i believe bunted so it should be the seven and eight hitters hagashyoka and kim wow tony's looking at me weird but it was uh i believe it was kim and jackson maryle wasn't it i don't know i'm do you're asking for asking the questions kim scored maryle sword yes i think maryle what yes bian is telling me in the tenth inning pro far single to write kim scored and maryle scored arise where hagashyoka go hagashyoka wasn't even in that game oh wait hit for hagashyoka what he way scored he sacrificed remember he hit that ball he moved everyone over he walked no i we're not talking about the same game then john yeah we maybe we are let me see i'm talking tuesday night pro far's walk off seven to six and monday night pro far's walk off was monday night yes monday do you want to go back and make sure you're looking at the right game before you tell me i'm wrong no because pro far's walked off i mean pro far definitely walked off but hagashyoka walked or excuse me wait walked but i don't know why we're so confused about this i'm looking at it i know why we're confused because you don't know what game you're talking about i do know a game i'm talking about sorry man once again man hold on that there's no anywhere yet is right i got the bottom of the ninth but no it's the bottom of the tenth yes that's right here we are bottom of the tenth solano doubled to left croninworth was the ghost runner went to third kim walked after maryle single so now we have weighed sacrificing kim to second maryle the third and they were the two that scored that's correct i think i confused everyone by saying tuesday when it was actually monday i did that like three times already today that's not why i got confused who was the ghost run it was it was croninworth was the ghost runner at the beginning and that's what throws it all i just said is i got my uh i got my stuff all he's got a scorecard i was a scorecard i got it like i got to last i wouldn't slide it up because i i i put it in solano spot as the ghost runner that's where so now it drops everybody down so here we go all right here we go that's good so where are you still there matt yard matt you're still alive he probably went home all right okay he's still alive thank you for hanging on with us matt here we go question i love this show could you imagine it took like a 10-minute break on jeopardy to figure out whether they were right or wrong i would like that show better i would like the show better all right i'm gonna do one of those where i give the names and you give me the team that they played for and this one is an nfl team brandon cooks and damekin su and josh rentals what do you all play for the lions he says hang on matt you know uh i think it's the rams wow i'm so sorry matt after all of that you had to put up with that i feel bad for you but tuss is life and christmas of the fans yes that is unfortunate but it was the 2018 rams the rams yeah kind only cooks ever played for detroit did he he plays played for just about every other team in the league but not detroit yeah he has not played for detroit you're right about that one okay let's go to our next contestant joey in san diego what's up joey let's go down guys we're ready to go all right here we go let's go joey how many rounds is the mba draft oh i was gonna say eight eight big NBA fan at joey sorry joey sorry joey all right next contestant it's a big NBA fan used to be ten because i think ten yeah cuz uh tony's dad was drafted in the i think the 10th round by the clippers direction we're going on and to ask you guys about Alex Morgan not making the women's national team i don't know i think we should roll the dice a few more times you want to roll the dice a few more times i want you to have to answer more questions oh god i'd say as long as it lands on you and chris that's fine we'll figure it out in the break here's hello tonic on jr mr scrapie four twenty fours of time uh decided we will put the dice away for another day and uh allow scrapie to save some of his uh his embarrassing questions for another round of Gwen and Chris FAQ maybe next week yeah maybe the week after i know next week's a short week because we've got 4th of july coming up but uh we will uh oh right you guys are on Friday i'm not i'm going to be in for the guys on friday july 5th i don't you know i'm not in charge of this stuff but why is july 5th not a day off what are they doing i don't know i agree with you i do agree with you i mean it's kind of weird everyone's going to take the four-day weekend except for you apparently yeah why yeah why why yeah because i offered it up i said i'll do it off day i'll do it that should be an off day tony is just tony's designated it so come on it should be i mean i'm just saying it should be yeah it's you know it's just like new year's eve new year's day this year christmas and new year's christmas falls on a wednesday oh and new year's falls on a Tuesday oh there's some of the worst days for holidays christmas and new year's day are always the same well yeah i'm sorry i met new year's eve thank you you're right i didn't change calendars christ it sounded like you did like it's like wait a bit christmas it's definitely honestly so it's due to you but you know not gonna argue with it yeah i don't know for the last few years maybe i changed uh the uh the wave has been in the news the last few days not for all the best reasons i guess the first they fire their coach kasey stony her jill ellis uh interviewed about it and uh you know jill you know she's demanding a winner here in san dieggis i don't have any problem with that right and hey kasey stony went seven games without a win they aren't scoring goals sorry but uh i mean moving on in our in our couple of encounters where i mean that was a thing that i i kind of came away with is like uh jill is not messing around like she is she means business like right and so it in some ways if you know this is about that it makes perfect sense i mean it's it also fits kind of the culture we are in now with all sports in terms of expectation and how long you have to keep things the way they need to be or the way they should be and if you don't there ain't a lot of room for maneuvering if you will to keep your spot and i mean this isn't to say that this was one of the reasons because i don't have any idea but we also don't know what's happening you know away from the uh away from the field maybe maybe they didn't you know get along as well anymore or maybe that had nothing to do with it but no matter what you're going through you are never alone join me on my podcast from the heart with rachel brithen every friday each episode is like sitting down with your been inspired because in studio we have all of these different board games now or at least the card games we have one called mind the gap i know that uh there's another one over there it's like who who uh everybody knows and the mid-day show annie nelson they do ask us anything so i wanted to do a going chris faq frequently asked questions because i do get a lot of questions about you guys and then i bought a book on icebreakers icebreaker questions that i have also went through and found some of the best ones so here's how it's gonna work chris i am going you're gonna roll the die since you love rolling the die okay and one through four it doesn't five six doesn't matter one through four will determine who gets to go first with the question okay who has to answer the question first there's only three of us though but but there's a okay good point thank you there's a chris there's a tony category there's a scrappy category and then there's a group category okay so questions on all of us so go ahead roll the die for the first one six okay of course four four would be a group question okay so the group question who this one's a good one and you guys are gonna have to answer i'm you know and i know he wrote this down on the sheet or sheet i'm not looking at it okay i don't want to know where you're going here so have you guys ever been so this was actually asked to me by someone have you guys ever been so mad at each other the show almost ended i would uh categorically say absolutely not you recall time i don't know that the show almost ended but i think we were hanging on threads for like a day maybe what i'm not gonna reveal what it was dude i know scrappy and i have gone at it a couple of times before a show yeah that yeah i don't know that it would have ended the show i think correct professional so it wouldn't have ended the show but it was it was definitely uh it was definitely you know no there was no talking in between segments let's just say that and i had to go into the boss's office and they pulled me in there to like talk about it i wouldn't say that we were close to ending it was never that point but we were we were it was it was a weird time it was like it was like within the first two years that like i think a lot of that was happening yes yes but i put it all on my mind i don't remember i'll fill you in in the break no i won't don't fill me in i want to i want to think that it's all been wonderful the whole time nothing but for the most part it has we've lasted six years together that's a lot we've certainly had a we've had a few disagreements but i would say that tony and i i wouldn't say this about you necessarily you're pretty combative but i don't think neither tony or i are even combative people no no but this one time i'm talking about there may have not been combative combativeness but there was a time when there was frayed nerves all right well tony are we thinking at the same time i think we are okay you are okay let me roll the dice yes we're gonna get out of that one yes go ahead four oh my gosh okay i like these fours the group group was yes we're all we're all in ah this is a good one oh boy what a noise you most about our our boss adam and this is a group answer so we have to come to this together as a group he's not listening right now i can tell you that and it won't go down recorded anywhere that he can't go back and listen i i doubt this and nobody listening i'll tip him off on anything um i guess i guess i'll start what a noise most about our boss i i i i have i have a really easy one that right throw it out there yeah you go out there we'll work from there i hate the emails that on articles that we most certainly have read like espn front pagers yes yes adam wants to make sure that we know everything that's going on out there and i think sometimes he forgets the fact that we also want to know what's going on out there and that we do pay attention to what's happening so he will email us something like or like it would pop up on our phones in 10 minutes did you guys talk about brawny james yet yes that's a perfect example yeah i like to test it adam like i'm going to get a text from adam tomorrow did you go to see the prawny james was drafted did you talk about him? yeah that is a perfect example i give you i give you one more and this is specific to me is when he sends me news about the pajres yeah i think uh it's like Tony did you see that for anyone i put on the i l that is that's what it will some days is be like oh just barely put my phone down but the nicest way to say this is it's only because he really does care exactly that's doing exactly we wouldn't be joking about it if we didn't understand that's a good answer to that question sometimes when he runs into the room and he tells us stuff too and he's like we all just sit in silence after he leaves the room oh oh he's just hovering outside the windows oh oh that would be mine because i'm like what do you want no i'm just kidding adam uh what do you roll why don't you just stop while we were ahead we had a really good answer at the beginning and then you can't throw everything else in that's how i do it that's how i do it number one this time oh that's a crisp question all right here we go what is the worst thing you have ever said on the radio the worst thing yes i don't know it might have been the other day uh no i don't think that was it i'm not gonna bring that up i think the you know i just said to but to me it was the only time i swore you swore on the air oh and it's changing the update yeah when i did the sports update and i said that your dad was too hit shy of three thousand but i didn't say it's in shy he could buy reverse to carry reverse to make a side difference that was embarrassing i didn't hear that oh yeah it was right uh anyway well i'll tell you the full thing but yeah i just i it was not much i could do just came out that way did you get it talking to no okay all right i think everybody thought it was by accident i i've probably said a few i i think the most embarrassing thing that ever happened too was the time that the golden state warrior guy who was drafted tod fuller was online oh yeah waiting to be interviewed and i and coach and i were talking about him and i said i don't know this guy's gonna be a stiff and then the next thing is they brought him on the air and he's like he was waiting on hold for all the waiting on hold i was like oh my god that's brutal that is brutal all right roll the die please okay uh five and sixes or two this time oh that's a tony question okay tony have you ever stabbed a friend in the back no that was quick answer yeah no ten toes down baby nope ten toes down what does that mean i mean you got if if i'm your friend i'm loyal i don't i don't there's no stabbing in the back i will agree with that with tony tony's very loyal person go ahead chris another four uh we've avoided the three so far so do we do we want to go with one for me no okay i'll just go go with that okay all right uh next one is if you could make a rule for our office what would it be i know it mine would be yeah we could each go single early on well i would just ask people to come to work you you chris hates that this place i hate the fact that there's nobody here yeah everybody's allowed to work from home it drives me crazy my rule i have so many where do i begin my rule would probably be only one person allowed in the bathroom at a time oh yeah this guy is such a weird you are a little weird about that i i've seen him like almost bursting because he can't he has to go to the restroom and he'll start to walk out and somebody'll sneak in ahead of him and he'll come back in here for another second i will and he's already in total pain i will i will do that yeah all right one more oh tony what's your role tony you gotta really i don't really have he's not here during the office yeah he's not or the all right it came up one oh it came up one i'm gonna okay we're going with the die i'm getting out of this one oh how many people sorry lory did you date before lory oh i don't know seriously seriously oh like i mean seriously date yeah yeah not like go on a date but like i don't know call girlfriend maybe for okay all right that makes sense yeah it wasn't uh i was you know it's into my baseball and my i'm not saying that it's wrong for you to have for it i would say i'm with you i was into my baseball too all right we um that's it all right no no it just came up three let's go just get one in get one in all right what bothers you most about chris now i'm just kidding what is my most embarrassing drunk moment um i'm gonna have to hold this one until after the break because i think we'll all come back to hear what it was yeah it was pretty bad it was pretty bad all right that's coming up more going in chris plus chris first the fans two eight three three two eight eight oh nine seven three into the four o'clock hour slash seven o'clock hour we go tony with jr chris hello matt scravey i'm here in boston and uh they are back in beautiful sunny san diego scravey got hit with the die worst or what was the best story what was it yeah what my most embarrassing drunk moment most embarrassing drunk moment i should just preface this with i haven't drank in over seven years because these drunk moments caught up with me and i needed to stop drinking so i am on that path but it's always fun to relive the past and uh i have two stories one i don't remember at all and one i i'm hazy remembering but the one i don't remember at all was a thanksgiving at my family's house and that my family likes to knock back wine on thanksgiving so i decided to knock back a ton of wine on thanksgiving and i went for a swim in the pool so i needed to change and i needed to do that and get my bathing suit on so i go outside there's about 30 people inside looking at me doing this and i didn't realize that there was a light on but i was doing that change you know when you put the towel around you and you put down your shorts and you put the other shorts on so that you can just change right there well i was too drunk to realize that the towel had dropped and so i was full frontal in front of my entire family for about 45 seconds and um the next day everybody kept asking me why i was so cold last night and i couldn't figure it out for the life of me trinkage yeah i couldn't figure it out for the life of me but they still to this day bring that up all the time so that was an incredibly embarrassing moment yeah that's pretty embarrassing and then my grandpa was like angry at me which he should have been angry at me because then my little nieces or my little cousins were there right that's not very gentleman of you got kids around and you just over here yeah not good yeah not good the other one is is free free the other one's a total maths gravy moment but before radio i worked in a business where we would go do conferences and then every two of the days of the conference they would have like a happy hour reception after and i like to get after it at the happy hour reception and so i meet this guy who is you know he's just standing at a table i walk up to him i'm saucy already and i'm talking to him about someone was this it was this a normal practice for you to when you were saucy just walk up to randoms yeah it was not anymore okay but i started talking to this guy talk to anybody anymore exactly exactly yeah but i started talking to this guy because i was a it was a producer of this conference and so i had to deal with this one woman who was one of the worst human beings i've ever met in my life to this day and he comes and so i just go off about how horrible this woman is and how she might be the worst person i've ever met in my life i can't wait to you know never talk to her again she walked up and stood next to him it was his wife and did you tell who it was did i tell him who it was yes i did because she was speaking at the conference and so i pointed to the program and i was like you know this one right here this one right here don't even go to her speech because she's terrible he was just sitting there like listening to you too he didn't cut you off for like three minutes because he knew she was getting a drink and she was going to be there at any moment and i i almost died in that moment we got i got in a lot of trouble for that i got in a lot of trouble i bet you did but because this person was kind of a big deal in the world of of like marketing and uh we paid for their hotel their flights and everything and they they oh you know she went told whoever was up the chain on she wanted to she wanted to trash she went and she trashed me to my bosses and my bosses turned around and just let me have it and that were they still were they still your bosses after yes they kept me on on board but that was one of the worst moments of my life house or one of the worst moments anyway i'm impressed scherby you're you're impressed scherby scherby all right that was pretty that was pretty cringy to listen to i must say i got plenty of that comes from yeah yeah the next time we roll the dice you can give your second and third favorite story if i go on for a while all right i think we are in line for some chris versus the fan i haven't been a part of this in a while and that matter of fact i will only be a participant in listening because i don't have uh the questions or the people in front of me so uh scherby i will turn the honors over to you my friend all right if you had one shot one opportunity to take down the human all the night himself how would he do now is your time listen to me this guy strangers now is your opportunity to win a prize well i hope you know gen four chris versus the fans starts now on 97 three the fan all right chris you've been pretty good lately i have to say you've been tearing people up left i'm probably due for a bad day then uh okay well we'll see about that you've been just so good lately i don't know that bad day is coming but you have uh i should read the prize first instead of just going on there you're gonna be qualified for a chance to win our grand prize a two night stay at faunton blue los vegas tickets to either hootie and the right you move on if you get it wrong and chris gets right you're eliminated but if chris gets it wrong then you move on to the next question or you win if you're a first time playa let us know before the first question and you will get that question for free okay i think i got everything sorry it's okay it's okay don't worry tony let's go to matt and lakeside hello matt what what's up guys ready to play i'm ready all right here we go what part of the field is the green monster located at fenway left field left field is correct i don't know if you've been to uh me no i'm an s tony have you played in fenway tony interleak playa i have i haven't got to play defense i got to that was a dh the one game i got to start here in fenway i thought the green monster in person was smaller than i said so much smaller than i thought it was going to be just towering over the field yeah yeah but you know it's it's big but yeah it's the whole the whole fenway park is smaller than i thought it was same with city fields city fields tiny too and so are the seats they've got to go on the st fat loss diet if you want to go to a fenway park it's definitely made for the petites that is true dar have a big rear end because you're not sitting in no you can't i hope they uh they they have changed the trough situation in the bathroom because troughs are should be a trough eliminated you know that like big bathtub that they have off of situations like in front of dudes that you never mind all right oh that's right they still have to do yeah you know what the trough is a disgusting disgusting thing that's just a disgusting work there right there yeah so so gross that's what i mean that's what i mean that's how you know that stadium is old because that is how all the stadiums used to have what'd you go to trough isn't that what it's called a trough i never asked anybody oh wow the bath the bathtub for pee is that what it's going on all right moving on i'm grossed out all right all right i got grass all right thank you just trying to play a game here that's like them grossed out too now all right here we go question number two on tuesday night who scored for the pardreas when pro-far hit his walk-off jake croninworth two people scored in like yes just got to guess two people one more guy guess one more guy might as well guess another player um arise arise stay there i'm pretty sure arise did not score because he was walked intentionally so he was on first base as far as what a detective you are i know and uh Bryce johnson i believe bunted so it should be the seven and eight hitters hagashyoka and kim wow tony's looking at me weird but it was uh i believe it was kim and jackson marrow wasn't it i don't know i'm you're asking asking the questions kim scored marrow scored yes i think marrow what yes bian is telling me in the tenth inning pro-far single to write kim scored in marrow scored arise where hagashyoka go hagashyoka wasn't even in that game oh wait hit for hagashyoka what he did he sacrificed remember he hit that ball to move everyone over he walked no i we're not talking about the same game then jot yeah we maybe we are let me see i'm talking Tuesday night pro-farce walk-off seven to six in the tenth inning pro-farce walk-off was monday night yes monday do you want to go back and make sure you're looking at the right game before you tell me i'm wrong no because pro-farce walked off i mean pro-farce definitely walked off but hagashyoka walked or excuse me wait walked but i don't know why we're so confused about this i'm looking at i know why we're confused because you don't know what game you're talking about i do know what game i'm talking about sorry man once again man hold on man we are yet is right i got the bottom of the ninth but no it's the bottom of the tenth yes that's right here we are bottom of the tenth solano doubled to left kronanworth was the ghost runner went to third kim walked after maryll singled so now we have weighed sacrificing kim to second maryll to third and they were the two that scored that's correct i think i confused everyone by saying tuesday when it was actually monday i did that like three times already today that's not why i got a few who was the ghost runner it was it was kronanworth was the ghost runner at the beginning and that's what throws it all as i got my uh i got my stuff all he's got a scorecard i was scorecard i gotta like i got a last one and slide it up because i i i put it in solano spot as the ghost runner that's where so now it drops everybody down so here we go all right here we go that's good man you're still there matt you're still alive he probably went home all right okay he's still alive thank you for hanging on with us matt uh here we go question i love the show could you imagine it took like a ten-minute break on jeopardy to figure out whether they were right or wrong i would like that show better i would like the show better all right i'm going to do one of those where i give the names and you give me the team that they played for and this one is an nfl team brandon cooks and damekin sue and josh Reynolds what team do y'all play for the lions he says hang on matt you know uh i think it's the rams wow i'm so sorry matt after all of that you had to put up with that i feel bad for you but tuss's life and chris versus the fans yes that is unfortunate but it was the 2018 rams rams yeah god only cooks ever played for detroit did he he plays played for just about every other team in the league but not detroit yeah he has not played for detroit you're right about that one okay let's go to our next contestant joey in san diego what's up joey what's up joey what's going on guys i'm ready to go all right here we go let's go joey how many rounds is the mba draft oh i'm gonna say eight eight big NBA fan at joey sorry joey sorry joey all right next contestant it's a big NBA fan used to be ten because ten yeah cuz uh tony's dad was drafted in the i think the 10th round by the clippers maybe earlier i don't want to denigrate your dad's do you know what your dad was drafted i don't remember the date i don't remember the exact round yeah but he was drafted by the clippers we know that our next contestant is a major fan of 97 through the fan gonzo is on with us right now gonzo gonzo how are you doing okay long time but uh first time player first time first time he's past the first round all right here we go gonzo he's sticking up for the entire chat right now this is a lot of pressure wow pressure i'm not so much pressure all right um there are two pajres tied for having played the most games in all of major league baseball this season named both players this is as of today this is as of today so oh man okay i'm gonna go with uh potty and can i lifeline 20 win junior you cannot lifeline 20 win junior gonzo i'm sorry i thought this was a gonzo question just buzzed him right away no that wasn't right away is it uh pro far and crone and worth pro far and he's thrown in worth i could be wrong i am wow gonzo still gonzo still alive it was kim and pro far kim and pro far yes wow very good realize the hustling kim has played every well the reason they've played the most games because the potters have played the most games as a team true true anyway go ahead all right gonzo you get this friends who want you to take him to las vegas hopefully he'll win the prize yes very cool that was good i i was uh i would have got that one you would have so yes it's good that he was uh he came through all right very good next up tony or um all right that's time for me to take us to break that in it all right it's uh step away when we return i'm not sure what direction we're going on and to ask you guys about Alex morgan not making the women's national team i don't know i think we should roll the dice a few more times do you want to roll the dice a few more times i want you to have to answer more questions oh god i'd say as long as it lands on you and chris that's fine but uh we'll figure it out in the break yes hello tony guin jr mr scrapie four twenty fours a time uh decided we will uh put the dice away for another day and uh allow scrapie to save some of his uh his embarrassing questions for another round of uh guin and chris f a q maybe next week yeah maybe the week after i know next week's a short week because we've got uh fourth of july coming up but uh we will uh oh right you guys are on saturday i'm not i am going to be in for the guys on friday july fifth i don't you know i'm not in charge of this stuff but why is july fifth not a day off what are they doing i don't know i i agree with you i do agree with you i mean it's kind of weird everyone's gonna take the four-day weekend except for you apparently yeah why yeah why why yeah because i offered it up i said i'll do it off day i'll do it that should be an off day tony is this should be just tony's designated itself come on it's all you should be i mean i'm just saying it should be yeah it's you know it's just like new year's eve new year's day this year christmas and new year's christmas falls on a wednesday oh and new year's falls on a tuesday oh there's some of the worst days for holidays christmas and new year's day are always the same well yeah i'm sorry i meant new year's eve thank you you're right i didn't change calendars chris it sounded like you did like it's like wait a bit christmas it's definitely honestly so it's due to you but you know not just argue with it yeah i don't know for the last few years maybe i changed uh the uh the wave has been in the news in the last few days not for all the best reasons i guess the first they fire their coach kasey stony her jill ellis uh interviewed about it and uh you know jill you know she's demanding a winner here in san diegis i don't have any problem with that right and kasey stony went seven games without a win they aren't scoring goals sorry but uh you know moving on it are in our couple of encounters i mean that was a thing that i kind of came away with is like uh jill is not messing around like she is she means business like right and so it in some ways if you know this is about that it makes perfect sense i mean it's it also fits kind of the culture we are in now with all sports in terms of expectation and how long you have to keep things the way they need to be or the way they should be and if you don't there ain't a lot of room for uh maneuvering if you will to keep your spot and i mean this isn't to say that this was one of the reasons because i don't have any idea but we also don't know what's happening you know away from the uh away from the field maybe maybe they didn't you know get along as well anymore or maybe that had nothing to do with it but uh either way the wave is still looking for a head coach when it's abrupt like that it does leave the the room for it maybe there was something exactly yeah i don't know because they were in the they were in the semi-finals last year the final four and this year they've struggled and they've struggled offensively and Jill Ellis wants she wants some goals scored so you know we'll see they're extremely talented too so i mean maybe that's part of it too right they got a lot of talent on that field but uh maybe one of the reasons they're not scoring as many goals is because Alex Morgan has been hurt almost the entire year and she hasn't scored any goals and Alex is you know the drawing card she has been the best player on this team or the you know certainly in terms of offense for the first two and a half years of the waves existence and then we find out a day or two ago that Alex Morgan not going to be on the US Olympic team for the first time and i thought well not first time but first time since she debuted on that team in 2012 which is just crazy to me uh Tony because when she debuted in 2012 that means kids that are 19 now were seven then and guess who they were watching Alex Morgan now they're taking her spot on the Olympic team and that's just the way it all goes full circle i remember i remember her first game uh as on the US team and i remember all the conversation behind it she's backed all of it up uh but this is kind of what happens sometimes soccer i mean if you you're injured and you can't you know go out and compete the way that you normally do normally uh are capable of you know this can sometimes happen she she released a statement saying talking about her disappointment um but she has you know she hasn't been um been formed right at least what she's done with us yes she's not in her and i think that and it's because of because of the injuries or because of you know she's been nicked up a lot of this a lot a lot this year so you know at this kind of how it goes in ed u s right the real us women's roster is deep i mean they got a lot of i mean i mean most of those girls you know you got Mallory Swanson who wasn't a kate wasn't able to play uh in last year's event because she tore patella tendons she's healthy you got trinity rodman you got uh shawl from you know who plays for the wave out here you got um i missed some one uh sophie sophie smith uh i mean they're all of that age that you're talking about that they probably saw her play which she was coming up and now they uh they're take they're i don't want to say they're taken he ultimately is left off the roster because those spots were taken yeah jadon shaw's the player you're referring to 19 years old a place for the wave and is going to be on the olympic roster uh morgan alex morgan is uh going to be 35 well my so ancient 35 but in i in soccer years you know it is what it is yeah i mean in athletic years really that's right athletic years sure body has to be to play at the tip top level your body has to be able to to endure it and you know the older you get the harder it becomes just the way it is and uh i just thought of you when i saw this story and uh because i thunk you because you're you're famous saying that uh you know father time is on the team and i think that you know along with the injuries is somehow except for some alabron james right but uh i think you know that injuries and uh you know it's just going to be weird to see that team and not you know have them talking all about alex morgan because they've been doing it for over well over a decade so all right uh we'll take a quick time out when we return big five and don't forget at five o'clock today it is the weekly padre round table a table an hour commercial free i bet this was a happy round table this week war yeah and um you know we just went back to the one we did two weeks ago when everyone was happy and we avoided the one we did last week and everybody was really upset because that's been the round table but yeah it's coming up at five so stick around big five first though it's that time of the show when we check on the latest in sports only the most important topics and questions are brought to light stop what you're doing and listen these news stories will astound and amaze you the one the only oh my god who the hell cash the big five starts now on 97th three the fan all right so we're just going to get through as many topics as we can today and let's waste no time number five and let's talk about the padre's all-stars because the finalists are here is that right chris uh they have just announced the finalist yes okay so my question to you guys and tony you're up first and then chris will have to give us the results after he well here he knows never mind which padre's should be on this all-star team tony which padre should be on this all-star team tony pro far arise i'm missing one i feel like swaras oh yeah swaras those are the four all right chris um well i think swaras will be on for sure pro far has to be i know this sounds crazy but matt walled you said who should be yeah correct correct matt walledron deserves long shot consideration i'm just throwing that in there i know i got caught not that call uh but i'm going to say swaras um pro far for sure uh the other two that tony mentioned um i'm not as sure about although i love a rise uh he has been named one of the finalists at second base along with cotel marte so it'll be one of those two guys for sure manny is the finalist at third base against alix bohm mmm bohm is having a really big year and pro far and tachty are both finalists in the outfield uh with uh kristin yelich tasker hernendes brandon marsh and nick costa janos we so should be on right i'm just giving you the i'm just giving you where they're very worried i'm giving you where they're at i don't think the padre's gonna get more than three i mean four would be you know i'd feel nice about it but you know you're only three games over five hundred you know let's let's let's score to three locks then i know well for three lockers does he does that take him out or is the sware is a rise pro far should be the three locks okay like i could see the argument for not having tachty because he's hurt but so then those three should be yeah for nando tachys to us is not having you know the his greatest year but he turned it on i can put him on i can put him pretty fairly up against costa janos and brandon marsh for sure for sure sure he's he's having yeah he's yeah i think he's having a better year than them all right he honest in about two hundred if that well no he caught fire when the padre's with the town all right these are 20 then the alpha pool got you know good because harper's not an alpha or more best is not an alpha or anymore those were two pretty much locks like every year good point now they move off it opens up the field a little bit that is true and to this anything else guys on this one all right kevin a c broke down the padre's relievers in his newsletter this morning and wrote this since reaching a season best 3.46 er a collectively on may 28th padre's relievers have a 5.52 era over the past 27 games and it's not getting better that mark is 6.23 over the past 12 games and the bull pin has allowed at least one run in all 12 of those games and allowed at least three runs and 10 of them out of the okay so christia first okay out of the padre's relievers not named robert suarez okay who do you trust right now to get you through an important inning astrata number one all right uh more day home number two i flipped those okay go ahead need an ask you you ask you that's true um those are my two two you know guys and right now those are the seventh and eighth inning guys you know it's interesting that given up all these runs and had all these problems they're winning all these games so you know and the bull pin's gone streaky i mean they it got off to a really you know bad start then it had a run there for wild tony right where they went like 50 innings they gave him one run or something so that could happen again i think the key guys to get you know get turned in the right direction though are you know matzui uh delos Santos and uh wandie you know those three guys are they've been a little bit more inconsistent if we can get them consistent the bull pin's gonna be just fine tony uh out of all the relievers not named sware's i didn't read uh ac's whole article i am assuming he brought up the fact that the padre's starters certainly didn't help the bull pin around that same time after they put up those numbers that's right honestly i'd have to go back and look again no but he's i told he's right i'm i'm saying i'm pretty sure he probably he probably highlighted that i didn't read it but yeah but they've made it tough on the bull pin by not pitching very many innings right and i i'll then i'll go back to that road trip because i i have it in front of me right now oh no give me a second all right this is the met's road trip boom but nia so waldron went seven that was the first day of that road trip after that measure went three and two thirds cease went three and two thirds Vasquez went four and a third king went four and two thirds waldron seven so basically major major four and two thirds okay cease four and two thirds king six and then it starts to get better this we got a good run here c six waldron six major five c seven but so in in that time span right in that four game stretch that's the Padres five game four games four game stretch Padres had recently starters went deeper bull pin got better and so they're not having to cover as much this bull pin has been streaky don't get me wrong they have those three guys particularly that chris name have been streaky but uh i would suggest say had it not been for the short um starts about five or six in a row there that this bull pin would be have had a better run at it they had to cover a lot in rear and air in the midst of what they 26 in 27 days 27 yeah so there was no off days in there so you had to kind of and i think under the circumstances of what they were dealing with bull pin held up pretty good uh did i ask you chris it's answer your question though who do i trust the most yes yes i had it actually actually in the exact same order chris did great minds think alike number three been head yeah had a monster year two drill deep to lap there it goes see ya go to your home run of the upper judge think he's on the board it's seven two so we're gonna get a lot of michael k here in the next two topics but that was michael k calling erin judge's 30th home run of the season and he is he he has ridiculous numbers after getting off to a very slow start right now coming into today he has a 309 batting average which is sixth best in baseball he's got 30 home runs which is the best in baseball he's got 77 RBI's which is the best in baseball he's also got a 1.145 ops the best in baseball so chris what or uh tony i'm sorry what impresses you most about air in judge uh he's like he's the he's this generations version of of what we saw in the 90s right a guy who can hit over 300 a guy who can hit you 40 a guy who can drive in over a hundred he's not giving up anything in order to be you know a slugger you know i'm saying this is a guy who's going to hit you know possibly another 70 some plus homers can the way paces on yet he still is a guy who can hit and uh i i think that's you know that's obviously an elite talent that is not on display a lot in our league uh but you as i said we used to see a lot more but i i that's a loop guys who can who can do it at this level at that high level in this league right now yeah chris what what impresses you most about air and judge the fact that he uh strikes out so many times 88 in all this season and yet i mean that's like 10th most in baseball i mean there's guys that have struck out more but i mean 88s a lot and still hit over 300 uh that means he's hitting the ball hard where people aren't and often where they aren't is over the fence so yeah he's good um you know i just thought that he had no chance to win the MVP award didn't they already give that to his teammate that one solo guy who he's 11 home runs and 20 RBI's ahead of right now uh judge has been really really good so but the Yankees have been faltering actually they have yeah they've i think you're two and eight in the last 10 or three and seven one of those two one more thing about erin judge he's got five stolen bases which really he could end up with double figures there i would love to see erin judge steel base dude duke and run he's not he's not slow by any stretch maybe he'll feel he's a he's a terrific athlete maybe we should assign him a couple of years ago when we had the chance when you hit over 300 you know you deserve i i don't even mention his strikeouts because that's no you're right such an elite clip at this point yeah like he deserves or is not to me i mean three he is fourth in the league and the mayor he's fourth in american league and batting average yeah it's crazy it's really good we should have signed him when we had the chance oh we never had the chance but we hey he was here right now it was close yeah we're number three all right Yankees broadcaster michael kay took to his radio show to air some grievances about something his very own radio station did to him and here's what he said just stick with it because it does set up right now might get me into some trouble here we go i love when you start this with who i need to know who's gonna be my bosses it could be an advertiser it could be the listening audience all right but you know we we appreciate every single one of the people that spend their money to advertise on the show yes and s and y is one of those people so you know the game's on yes tonight the game is on s and y so the way it breaks down is met fans usually watch on s and y and yaggy fans will watch on yes but they're they're ad which ran during the last break enjoy the subway series of the best booth and baseball i mean do you expect me to just take that line i think our booth is the best booth and baseball what do you want the same well i mean but but you know you know you're the host of the show it one of the hosts of the show is you're gonna put that i'm supposed to sit that sit there and take it laying down i'll take on the own cone and me over garron and Keith i would i mean they're great but most those are both so i mean the way you want people to watch is to say join the guy all right there we go you get the you get the gist of it one of my one of my favorite comments is the first one sorry michael saying what pitch just happened in sitting in silence for 20 seconds until the next pitch doesn't make you the best in baseball uh chris you're at first on this one and what was my question oh does he have a right to be irked i guess he sounds a little petty though to me i think that's just how he sounds i think this is from across the country sounds a little petty i mean he's already you know about the most popular sports figure in the in the big apple he's got his own radio talk show and he's the voice of the Yankees so i i don't know he sounds a little uh sounds a little insecure to me and a little petty all right thank you for being honest i'm also going to go with the Mets over him because Keith Hernandez said the other day on a one soda misplay quote and this is Mets announcer Keith Hernandez quote he's been a total liability out there you wonder why they play him in the deepest corner outfield position in this ballpark that's a fly ball that's got to be caught that's keith Hernandez about my friend Juan Soto so i go with the Mets booth it's been a while since we've taken some one yeah we haven't had a chance to do it lately uh Tony where even wearing all the naysayers out all year that's right we've had to be quiet uh Tony what do you think uh do you think does he bring i don't mind this i don't mind it so i i don't think he was irk i think he was partially joking about bringing up the two between the i mean it's an obvious obvious kind of rival there Mets Yankees best booth of course he's gonna feel some type of way when the Mets drop a line like come this interview entertained by the best booth in base but i feel some type of way too if i was in new york it then on the other side well okay yeah this one i was like this guy has a good point i won't be surprised if there's some type of subliminal shot during the during the actual broadcast there um so he they had a rain delay yesterday and michael k tweeted out like a photo and i think it said best rain delay in baseball or something like that and then the s and y booth took a little shot at him but it wasn't that great so i didn't bring it to the show i say shut up and announce better pal oh my gosh i can see chris being so hurt by this can i tell i'm not a big i'm not really a big vocal cave there i guarantee if a rival station said something like that and chris caught when he'd be all in his field yeah i agree i agree and i don't think there's anything wrong with being in your field because that's his turf that show and i'm already secure enough to know that i'm the best i don't need to hear it from somebody else all right that's it for the big five we are coming to the end and we don't have time to finish the topics i guess i will say that um the cob family randal cob and his family oh yeah lucky to be alive because they posted that the tesla charger caught fire in the garage and it quickly spread through their home she said we got out of the house with nothing but the clothes on her back and no shoes on our feet um my question was tony do you have a currently have a fire exit plan at home tony still there i don't know what happened like he shorted out on the tesla comment i don't know did chris do you have a fire exit plan i think now i'm going to get one me too me too all right stay tuned we've got uh tony is he there i just take a box i hear my okay my doorbell ranks i had to answer oh all right answer just the time to wrap things up tony good talking to you we'll
