Had a setback with ankle injury, was flat as bricks. But, what do you love about Hallie? I'm really excited to quite hold yesterday. [APPLAUSE] Yeah, big day for Clay Hall. He gets his chance on the AFL stage after a real rock-solid season in the W AFL, and I think there's no prouder dad than Derek Hall at NWA right now. I'm sure he was absolutely pumped to get the phone call yesterday. Harvey, appreciate your time. Congratulations, old man. You must be absolutely on top of the world. Thank you very much, Scott. It was a nice moment when we got that phone call, and something Clay's worked really hard towards. Here, we can't wait to see him get out there on Friday night. Has it been frustrating? Everyone's been talking, showing his name up. They were throwing up Zane Tru and a whole range of others as well, and I said, "Gotta get a game, gotta get a game, gotta get a game." But he came out and said, "No, he's probably just doing his apprenticeship." What was your thoughts as a dad looking in? Do you think he probably should have got a game before now? To be honest, Scott, the only frustrating part for me was everyone saying all the time that he should be playing. I mean, the guys that he, Simo, and Scurry and the guys that are looking after him, they know what they're doing. So, I was pretty happy to play the waiting game, and I think Clay eventually got his head around that as well, and he understands he's hopefully in it for the long haul, and if you've got to take a little bit of a short-term playing, well, that's what you have to do. And I know if they'll gauge not something that shouldn't be just handed out, you should have to earn it, and I think Clay's worked pretty hard, and he's earned his opportunity. Well, I'll apologise now, half, because I've been calling for some time now to be playing the boy. And so, I apologise to you, mate, and that won't happen again, but I hope he gets the next four weeks under his belt and gets a little bit of continuity in there. I think that's the important thing we were talking about, too. I would hate to see Scurry put him in his sub. I hope he's not sub. I'm not sure what you can tell us, but when you make your day boot game, I think you should be thrown in there and see what you can do, and give yourself a couple quarters to work your way into it. Ideally, Scotty, 100% you're right, mate. That would be great, that was the case, but I did have a quick chat with Clay yesterday, and he's unsure, there may be a chance that happens, but just in a quick conversation, I hope with Clay, I sort of said, "How would you feel about that?" And he said, "I don't care." If I get a game, I'm playing, that's all I care about. If I can do whatever I can to help the team. And I sort of feel that way a little bit as well, mate. It is what it is, it's an elite sporting competition, so you've got to go out there to win, and if they correct things, then Clay's best to have been the sub in his first game. Well, we'll take that. Yeah, and we saw last week, you've just got to be ready, dry-cully into the game, literally 15 seconds after the first bounce with what happened to Zane True. Hey, Derry, just sort of asking regards to Adam Simpson in the relationship. Just tell us a bit about the relationship between Clay and Simo and the feedback that the young men have got, and now it's going for the last couple of weeks. Just tell us a bit. Has Clay been really happy with the positive feedback in his time in WIFL under Kyle Horsley? No, he has, he's been very glowing, excuse me, in his prize of Simo and Scali. They give a lot of feedback, and there's certainly no lack of information coming towards the young fellas, as they're trying to get better. And he speaks extremely highly of Kyle Horsley as well, who's given Clay a lot of confidence to go out there and attack his role and just put some things in place that I think a lot of young fellas go out there thinking they have to be A, B and C to maybe try and get a game at the next level, when in reality they should be trying to be really good at X, Y and Z. So, Kyle's been really good to Clay in that regard, and all those three fellas. Plus all the assistant coaches, Clay can't speak highly enough of. Marty's in and under play, but he's been trialled out in the win the last, well, a little bit in the WIFL season. Where do you see him, Hawley? Where do you've seen coming into the Eagle Sword and have an impact? I think that's maybe where they're looking at initially. I'm not sure, I don't think it's his natural habitat on the win. He hasn't played a lot out there. He's most of his foot he's been played as an inside midfielder, and that's where he's got drafted playing in that position. So, I think that's eventually where he'll end up. He's got the size to be able to do that, but he's also got pretty good running capacity. So, if they see a role for him out on the win, getting up and down one side, he'll be more than happy to do that, with maybe a little bit of inside time as well. I don't normally throw stones. Where do you get his running capacity from? But I heard you interview him last year, actually fired at a draft. But that is a really good question, because neither of myself or his mama, or that blessed when it comes to a load of capacity. So, it's a bit of a mystery, that one. Hey, it's interesting, too, that he's already a bit of a cult hero, and as we know, he's a cult hero, not just in WA and through Harvey and through Binning Up and West Coast and all that sort of stuff, and West Perth, even. But the fact is that he's a cult hero in Sydney, with the news that Barry Hall and his wife, former high-five entertainer, Lauren, have had their fourth son, and they've named it Clay. Clay Hall! It did say that the other day and had a bit of a laugh, because at that point Clay obviously was on an eye for a list that hadn't played an eye for a game, so whether they were unaware of another person in the world called Clay Hall, that was in the AFL-Sia, I'm not too sure, but it's quite a lot of good, and that name is fine, and Clay gets a game. Barry Hall's a big fan. He's been pushing hard for him to get a game as well. Hey, let's hope Clay's AFL career last long, then Barry did in the round, everything the other day. He didn't last very long. Yeah, you throw those down. Yeah, yeah, exactly right. Hey, can I ask you? Come on. I'm going to ask you a little bit about the game.
