[music] Seven after seven, thanks to Matabo, celebrating 100 years of German innovation. You know those things that, yes? I think we should ditch Katy Perry for the... [laughter] Oh my gosh, we need to get you in. Hang on. All righty, Crystal Friend is here because he's set up this seven at seven. What are we playing for? The biggest Western Derby moments. You're not playing for anything, it's just for pride. The biggest... I've gone back to back the last two. I don't think it has to be perfectly honest with them. Well, that makes it about six, two then. Yeah, I'll never do that, but I'm going to roll. Yeah, this is for the hat trick. It's about a good month. This is for the hat trick, absolutely. It's about a very good month. It has been on fire. Biggest Derby moments. Not the best necessarily because there's something there that some people might not classify as a wonderful Derby moment. Demolition Derby is obviously in there. Can you classify that as one of the best moments? Some people would argue yes, others would argue no. So biggest is what we're going with. You know, Duff had his top five most significant Derby memories. Yes, they opened his show. Sure. At one was no human. Oh no, he actually... Duff's a tool. No. He actually mentioned your tent. Okay. And he said Glenda in the other middle of the scene. Oh, no, he mentioned. Do you want to wind that back thirty seconds? Duff's a legend. Anyway, I was driving down because I had to get down to Hall's head urgently for a home opener, which was... Not as fruitful of one more time. [LAUGHTER] I haven't been driving down in one more time. Patient's made. Sometimes it takes more than three days. He sprinted out of the studio as well. Did he see me jump? I jumped. Really given it chooks. [LAUGHTER] Anyway, I was listening because he said his favourite Derby moment was when I called the Derby. He said this is the greatest Derby moment, right? One by point away from it. What's in your call of the Derby? No, that was the moment of the Derby. No, no. It's because it's been two over and two. The way I called the Derby. Oh, he said what it was. That was when I was at Fox. It was actually the game. The game. Not the way you called it the game. So I was driving down there thinking he was going to play it. Yeah. What sort of producer has he got, right? [SCREAMS] He's gone through five Derby moments. Yeah. And not one bit of audio. Oh, of course. One bit of audio. And especially my biggest. [LAUGHTER] I swear I heard your audio played. Well, maybe they played it later. No. Must have played it later. But I would have thought, if you're doing a segment about five Derby moments, you would have played some form of audio. Oh, we've got 14. We've got a lot of audio. All right. I think it went something like this. Steve, you took it out of the red contest. You're in trouble. You're down. They're coming above. Is that the ball game caught ticks down? Great presence of mine from Pollack. Didn't think it is. Just wrapped him up. I can't lose from here. Surely. Car. To Pollack. Free mantle had won a classic. Paul Hazellby with the winning goal. Free mantle win. Oh, you're playing it. You round it down. These are the critical moments you round it down. Seriously. Yeah, that's enough. Anyway, that was enough for me. All right. He's there. It was such a thing. It was such a thing. I'm going first. People want to know who, what's that recorder we played before? Seven. Still to come. All right. Seven at seven. Thanks. That's helpful out there. She read that out for me. Ready out, Jess? All right. We got round six Derby 2000. Scotty 10 goals. Oh. Okay. All right. Scott. Where are we going to put this? Wow. That's this. Where are we putting that Scott? It is that. So I don't look like a tool. Wow. It's not a tool. Clearly it's, um, clearly it's number one, but I'll try and be humble. Humble. I'll put in a two maybe. Is humble in your dictionary? Yeah. It was a, man. Can I tell the scope that went up? Can I just, can I just be honest with you? You crashed in. Belladonia. That was Scott. That was Scott. That damn it. Scott. Yeah. Scott. It was a big moment. Let's be honest with you. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I've got a tool. Do you know what? The Derby's been crap for a long time. I'll put it in at number four. Number four. Yeah. It was impressive. Whoa. Where are the one explored territory? Terrier. All sorts of trouble. They're coming for us. Come in. He snaps and kicks another one. Oh, just put it on me list. Still there. No, no. Turn that off. Turn that off. Turn it off. Turn it off. I've just put it in at number four. Me. I am very proud of myself. Yes, I am. Boy am I impressive. What number have you placed at? All righty. So, I've got my first one is Matthew Pavlich, round 19. He kicked eight goals. He's eight goal. He led the doctors to a 65-point win for his biggest ever Derby. Pavlich. Hey, quite. Oh, spectacular from Matthew Pavlich. I'm already going to have kicked this low. That's not a form he's in. The sights are in today. He goes back and slams through his eighth goal. Oh, it's no ten. It's no ten. No, it's not. But it's number three on my list. Oh, what? You know, three? Yeah, three on my list. Tell you what we can't do. We cannot post these because there will be no context on this whatsoever. And I'm going to have you show it up at four. I look like the biggest tool in the world. All righty. Our next one. Next one is a long. Derby number nine, round 19. No, no, no. John Wordsworth pulled out of the Derby. Late with the flu and replaced by Chris Lewis, who snapped four goals and claimed best to feel four. He's got seven. You can't either. Seven, Louis. And Louis. Seven goals. Louis. Four goals goes into number seven. No audio for that one. So round 18, 2011, I remember this and we spoke to him. We spoke to him yesterday. Remember when Hayden Ballon-Tine did this from the 50? Miss Angu, here we go. Barba's going to take the mark. Couldn't get it knocked over the line. [whistle] Clerks, the ball. It's a hit. You're good. [inaudible] She's looking for the same. The same as Sam. And those are all. Fifty two-metres out. It's online. It's in here. It's going for it. Sam, it's going for it. [inaudible] It's a point. [inaudible] Yeah. Oh, that's a big moment. It was a great moment. A great moment. It's my number two moment too. So number two is Hayden Ballon-Tine. I'm not going to sign myself. Apparently a point now is number two. [laughter] Now that was biggest moments. That's pretty good. What's Alan Roman, you're off? Fifty. Derby 51. [laughter] Derby Lee. [laughter] Good play. She played for Melbourne. [laughter] Oh, it's Debbie. There you go. The COVID Derby. This was the first time only a single derby. That's not the first time only a single derby was played in the year with COVID-19 pandemic. West Coast won with 30 points and also set a new record of 10 consecutive derby wins. Well, 10 consecutive derby wins, important. First time. Oh, six. There was no one there. No one there. Six. Yeah. Some of Louie's a bit robbed. [laughter] Four goals were probably more important than Brown. Mine is Derby 23. It was round six. I think it was the one we just played, actually. I stand corrected on that one. Pretty sure that was it. And this was a moment to behold. Because the Ross Glendening medalist was announced and it went to a player in a losing team. And of the four judges, the tellier votes. No closer. And Chris Judge won his third medal. That's four. So a fair amount of fans were incensed. What did the judges say? No. You just grabbed the medal. Thanks so much. Stay classy. Yeah, no, no. It was four goals for Josh Carr and Paul Hazaby. Six Derby in a row. But most fans only remember the injustice with Chris John Brown in the middle. Josh Carr didn't get the medal for his heroic. What a shine. [laughter] This is terrific. I'm not reading all of this yet. But it's the demolition derby. The demolition derby. It was nice. One plus. One in your report. And he could not be playing for his sweaty kitchen. Again, the temper's a flight. So it applies a very, very close goal. Dale Kickett is just trying to cut. Look at this, Dennis. That's Philip Lee. He's not Mr. Popula. Well, he throws one as he goes down. And then, look at those boots flailing away. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What would I have said? Blood will be smelled. [laughter] And Gadi ran through Pav. And he went about 14 lefts before he saw the first one. Wow, can't get Chad future. He went berserk. Yeah, no, that was massive. Well, that's... That is huge. That is a massive moment in... We don't condone that behavior. I love it. Bring it on this weekend. Absolutely go the knuckle. [laughter] How do you get the loose? I'm putting the demo, Derby. It's the most played one. Every time you see it, I'm putting in at number one. Well, yeah, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not an anti that. I said to people last night, the more biggest challenge during that game was the key phrase of gearing away from it. And it was a challenge because we were both sitting on level one. [laughter] How do you want to go and play? He wanted on. Who doesn't forget this 2007? The winning speech for the Rosalind Denny Metal courtesy of Michael Braun. Thank the fans. She can buy us through the rough times and all the best to, all the boys and now let's have a [bleep] again. We got fine. 10 grand, I was up my knee. Oh, I think I'm dead. That would hurt him. Yeah. Yeah, there's no French tins there. You had to just not go down to the old beautician that don't. Remember the story about a big G train going on a, going to a clinic with, with Brauny. It was 42 degrees. I'm afraid they'd have to teach some kids some stuff in summer. You almost melted. He said, "Can we put the air on on it?" And Brauny said, "No, no, I use this too much petrol." [laughter] And the phrase I said, "Why don't we go there?" He goes, "It was hotter." [laughter] And he has a whole give you $100 for the air car. [laughter] It'll fill up your little knissant pulse. Okay, where do I put this? Michael Braun's swearing. Number three. Three. So I've got, so far I've got Valentine hitting the post. Brauny's swearing, I thought it was funny. Pavkik and eight, fantastic. And the Christian being booed is at number six, I think. Yeah. Okay. This was a huge, this was huge. In 2001, round 20, round four. Sean McManus. Oh, yes. Got some massive hit from over where Ponda gets up and kicks the goal. It was one of the, it's an iconic Derby moment. [applause] Should have been 55 meters from goal, kicking for space with... Oh, McManus. Oh, my goodness. He's in trouble. Mike McManus. Mike McManus. Mike McManus. Mike McManus. Mike McManus. Mike McManus. Mike McManus. Mike McManus. Can't be a mark, must be a free kick. He's, but I reckon he is paying the mark. Oh, is that 40? 90. It's going to be a slalational slalom. Fantastic effort there by Sean McManus. A co-captain with the doctors. If you can finish it off with a goal, what we had to stop. That's a magnificent kick. It's a goal. Brilliant. How about that? Yeah, that is great to hear. The Great Dennis Committee and Chris May wearing calling there. That's right. We said here in the Grammy hands, boys, that's for sure. That was a huge moment. Huge moment. Lost and hated it. We'd have got 12 weeks today. Yeah, he would have. He would have. He would have. And Sean, he may have. I mean, that's up there with Dom Sheed as far as kicking that goal. Neither of them could hit a target for them. [laughter] And they go and slot those. Lucky Byron Schema wasn't having a shot. He kicked the 14 rows back. Well, joining McManus close to the record. If there was no hole in the ball or out in the fall, joining McManus would have been a superstar. Nice. Good man. I'm going to put that number three. I thought that is a massive moment in Derby history. That was a great coverage. All right. We've got to get some userway because we are running late. We've still got our, so at the moment I've got two, three, four, six of it. Oh, God, seven, six, four to me. Three and one. [music] Sing this on the seven. A number that I love. I can count the seven colors in a ring of love. Oh, gee, it's got a marathon. That's really good. I'm exhausted. Over 100 professional quality cordless power tours on a 18 volt platform. Metabo celebrating 100 years. We've had a lot of people messaging want to know about the recorder. Where are we going to give the answer to the recorder for this thing? [beep] [beep] [beep] All right. Just be patient. We'll get to that after we finish our seven at seven things to Metabo. So what's yours gone so far? Seven. Lewis, four goals. I think I've stuffed this up. No, number six, no crowd Derby. And then before it was me, three is joining Mackin. And one is demoed Derby. So I've got five and two available. Okay. Well, I'm my branch. I've got two, the Valentine poster, Braun swearing, which was a classic. Pav kick and eight, which was amazing. And then Juddy, who got booed when he got the middle around six. No way I come out of this looking good. Let me tell you right now. But I'm going to tell you, I'm going to go out in a record and say, "I'm worried I've sold myself a short." I reckon you have to. I reckon you have to. You're unfortunate to have received that, but you're a very humble guy. Yeah, I know. Did you know that I took nine for eight, seven for nine, seven for nine, seven for nine weeks here? Was it in the city? Yeah, it was in the city. It was in the city. Yeah, it was in the city. It was in the city. It was in the city. Yes, yes. Remember when Ross Glendining went rogue? It's been a really tough one today. There were three or four players who really could have received the award. But I thought early, particularly when it counted, Michael Gardner showed that he was dominating the big man around the ground. So Michael Gardner. So that was the one where Sam's got robbed, right? The vote said otherwise. Yeah. So the votes came in and Glendining Roscoe, great man. It's his middle. You can do it every line. They just said, "I'm not going to vote. I'm not reading that out." So I'm sorry, Ashley, Sam, but I'm going with Michael Gardner. He just went rogue, and now retrospectively, Sam's has been awarded. Oh, that's just his middle. And Guardian's had to give his back. Roscoe and Rogue. Number five. Right over second last one. Here we go. Two at five. This is really good. I've got one in seven. How am I going? I've got one in seven. Oh my God. Do you know what? Play the audio. So wrong. So right. It still stays in. They straddle the line. Chair edging it forward. Broden got through the tackle. magically got up through to Sir Ron. He got down. He got up again. Oh! Oh! You've got every right to be amazed. Sir Ron, Sir Ron! He's good at it. He's very, very good at it. He's waiting for that moment, and he walks straight through. That snapped the Docker's 11-game losing streak. They led by 40 points. He goes around the charge. That's more about the commentary than the moment. So that goes in at number five. It does. Alrighty. Mine is. What have I got here? Josh Kennedy kicks seven in round 20-16. Kennedy! Good fight. But they're a man down in defense. They've got a high stop play. A whole play now. He's now got seven. Almost still got 11 minutes to play. Yeah. Three-quarter time in 2000. It was 2016. It says, "While Pavholt's a record for the most goals in Western Derby history overall, Kennedy ended his career not far before. 53. Got the Glendingale in metal on this occasion. It was his third one. But sorry, JK. Not good enough. Seven. Seven for JK. It leaves me one spot left and it's number one now. Number two. I mean, tough. This is being tough. Come on, be really good. Be really good. Be really good. Be really good. Yeah, this is pretty good. The callous ruthlessness from West Coast and the famous Mother's Day Massacre. One. Taken by Pike back to Jacobich. So often we've seen that. Very high kick around the out-of-side. Oh! Oh! Oh! This one is inspired. Teddy! Head and shoulders knees and foot above the pack. Really heady. And take it and go. Well, ticket did neither one thing nor the other. He did. Oh! Go to number two. The Mother's Day Massacre. Yeah. More than 80 points, I think. Yeah. That match was 70. Yeah. Right. And my number one. Well, don't get a choice. It goes number one. And I'm happy with it. 1999, I remember. Thank God. Positive. I called this game. I might not have, but I certainly did. I reckon it was Tony Madre is on fire. He kicked six. Yeah. And it was. Dockers. Finally on the board in the 20th century. Mike redoes brilliantly. Deep in the parking impossible angle. What a goal. Don't really slap in the ground. Yeah. I called on radio that time. And I remember being there. It was amazing. And Madre was chased down by Milly McIntosh. Yeah. And we had a filter ground and he slapped the ground yet. Pardon that. It's one of my most hated games. I reckon that was Maney's 200th. And it was the first loss. Did he run on with the mattress on his knee that time? Yeah. Was that the game? Yeah. All right. My number one Tony Madre Derby 10 kicking six. Derby's first ever win. Then I go to Valentine hitting the post. Michael Braun swearing. Pav kicking eight. Roslyn getting going rogue. Jutty being booed after winning the medal in a losing team. And Kennedy kicking seven. I'm comfortable. I think I get the win. Yeah. You know what? I'm having to say more of this sucks. And then my Derby number one. It's iconic. It's massive. Mother's Day. Massacre. Number two. Shawnee Max. Absolutely mixed up by David Wirpunder. Four was a very rare moment of me. So wrong. So right. Number five. Number six was the no-create Derby. That was big. And Chris Lewis hit four goals. Nice win. J-Punts. Put up up on our social. Put it up on our social. Yeah. You're a stink at least. Yeah. I've nailed it. I've smashed it. Oh, whatever. It's very funny. Slippy from Biford makes a very good point. Thank you, Slippy. Morning crew. I know Derby in a higher regard, but boo Andrew Gaffet. Every opportunity is his hypocrisy at its finest. Exactly right. Let's get a breakaway and come back. I've actually heard someone say that before. That's a really, really good point. It's a very good point they did. But I'm pretty sure no one got a broken jaw in the demo. Derby. Let's get a breakaway and come back. Breakfast is powered by a kabota. Take on any job with kabota's range of tractors, mowers and utility vehicles. A break. And then the answer to our question. Who is doing this? Mike said he's a fernal record. [Music]
