Thanks to the wonderful team at Sonos, multi-room listening, wireless home theatre, and more experience game-changing town this season with Sonos. If we'd came to sport, if you'd just woken up, you would have heard in the news. Spain 2-1 over England. Oh. Euros. Didn't go home. Bob McIntyre has won his own Scottish Open. Adam Scott finished second, and Stephanie Kiricow from the east finished second in the women's major, the Evian Masters. So a couple of Ozzie's doing well over there in Europe. Of course. Scottie, good morning. Hello, mate. Good day. Everything, aren't you? Yeah, you're just trying to be a sports station. What did you make? What did you make of yesterday? I liked it. First of all, Brisbane are a very, very good side, right, and they got everything back. They did what they needed to do yesterday, and if it wasn't for, I reckon, maybe three periods where West Coast just lost their concentration for a moment. And then Brisbane went back to back goals, then the result could have been a lot different, and we're trying to find a lot of positives out of West Coast. The whole new coach thing changes everything. So this week's probably more important than what happened yesterday, but I enjoyed a couple of things. I loved Ruben Jimby off half back. I thought that was a really good positional change because, you know, my thoughts in the middle he gets lost. He's a ball watcher. He's a sea ball get ball sort of player, and I love the fact that he was given a job to do, but then ran, ran, ran, ran. Can I just stop you there? Stop me all your life. But he's not going to make an, I feel, career of playing half back flank. Ruben Jimby? Yeah. Doesn't, uh... That's a real field of height. He's not playing well as a midfielder right now. Exactly right. So get that piece into him. Okay. So that's what I'm asking you. Yeah. I like the change. You like the change to learn the game of it. Absolutely. Educational piece. Got it. And I thought he'd do it right, and I think he should stay there now for the rest of this season. Sure. I'll put your way. Um, I'm surprised you didn't get it with Simo, but you got your way with, with Scary. I don't know whether it's a Subiaco thing or what, but you got Ryan Merrick up on the wing. And, American Hutchison on either wing, I enjoy that for a moment as well. I, I think they, um, they played pretty well and they just ran it and moved it well, but they just didn't have those, there's a massive difference in the first half, how it went into the Eagles forward line, into the forward 50 to how Brisbane did it. Brisbane would hit a target to hit, down a hill or hit, hit, wouldn't. I don't think Oscar Allen or Jackie Waterman took a mark on a direct lead in that first half. Did later and they looked much, much better for it, but I, I enjoyed it. And I thought the day itself, everything included and we'll have more and winners and losers was, um, was a very good day. 14, 1 cent of clearance is at one stage. Yeah. McAnerney just had a, just kicked it forward. You know, I got two marks and two goals really quickly. Yeah. After half time, they rotted the ship. I thought Kelly's second half was outstanding. His last quarter was brilliant. I thought Harley Reid was better after half time. I thought he played a solid game, Harley Reid, without the, the flashes of brilliance and all that sort of thing. But you know, he gets and he tries to take the game on and I enjoy that. I thought he had a probably his most solid game for a while. Agree. And I thought, Bailey Williams clunked him a few nice marks. Um, it's a good song. Jack Williams, Harry Edwards. Yeah. I enjoyed those two as well. Yeah. So there was, there were things I think, um, I thought Zane True was good. Yep. And I'm not sure what his job description was yesterday because he was on Locky Neil for a fair part of it, whether it was going to go ahead and go get your own footy. We're not going to stop him, go get your own footy, which he did well when he used it really, really well. And I'd want to see him play for weeks and weeks and weeks now, six weeks. That's not a lot. But want to see him in the team the whole time, but I, I, I ring, we set it, ah, six weeks ago. Did I mind? No, I'll get him. Oh, I'll get him. I'm, I'm struggling. Jack Williams. I think he was starting to take a couple of marks in there and it was a bit like Bailey Williams last year. Bailey Williams start just flying at the footy bit more, taking some big marks. Tech Williams was doing that earlier this year, got dropped again, thought he was good, thought Harry Edwards did a good job down back as well. I think there were some really good pieces yesterday, whether that's just a freedom thing or what? I don't know. But it'd be very interesting. I hope, I just hopefully these guys get some continuity in their, in their footy now. We keep playing them. Still of Como. Lads. Tom Cole should be dropped this week. He was terrible and caused many turnovers, needs to be de-listed years in. Well, it's a bit harsh. But anything you want to, he, he might be, he had a last quarter that he'd really want to forget. And there was a passage of play where Brisbane were kicking the ball in. And I said, where's the guy's going to man to man here? And I love it. And they've stopped all exits, but then Loman, cold didn't go hard enough with Loman. And there was their exit piece. He trialled him all the way. Yeah. And then Loman kicks it forward, follows up. He gets the second kick after that as well, because Cole didn't run with him again. And then there was a piece in the back, in the defensive 50 that hurt him as well. But he had a very poor last quarter, but he didn't mind his game. I thought up to three quarter, Tom, it was, Tom was playing, it was a better brand from him. I think he was, he kept his feet. And that's, I'm always been critical of Tom. I think he does go to ground a bit too much, but I, I didn't think he's first record. First record. Yeah. It's okay, Phil of Como, but I thought his last quarter has struggled. Loman kicked two and then did that little lookaway hand pass, which was borderline throw, but it was clever. And yeah, Loman was a game-changer. Oh, yeah. Big last quarter, didn't he? Zero, four, eight, seven, seven, three, six, seven, three, six is the number. Oh, 13, 12, 55, you're an Eagles fan. What did you make of? Yes, though. Fremantle fans. That was disappointing. Cheers. I just wasn't brave enough to tip Hawthorne down there in Tassie, or should of their record is great. Fremantle's record is not great. But that was a, that was a game to be won for Fremantle various times, but hats off to Hawthorne, who has continued to hang around the place for a top eight. And will continue to upset teams if they don't make the finals. They'll still have a fair bearing on shaping and I think. Hammer comes after seven. We're going to dissect a lot of this conversation with Hammer. Of course, he'll come in for West Coast Poly complete tank solutions, but at this time, every Monday, 10 past six, we do this. Time for our winners and losers. Thanks to Sonos, multi-room listening, wireless home theater and more. Who was your Monday premiere? Ah, the most frustrating team in the competition for me right now is the Western Bulldogs. They rowed Carlton, they played terrific footy, something that I've been wanting for them to do a lot more often. I thought they were sensational with doggies and got it done in a big game for Carlton, and they were personal milestones to Patty Cribs, but doggies for me, premiers. Yeah, GWS for me, and that was only Richmond, but to go down there, we're at the MCG's, where the big games are, one, of course. For me, it was just a good enough win, because it was always, every time we play Richmond in Melbourne, there's always a little bit of danger. Okay, well, it was only 19,000, haven't the Richmond fans jumped off? They jumped right off, they've got the biggest army in the world, too, and they just ran 19,000. I know, 19,000, 40. We were shocking. Well, that rolls Australia to... Hey, they had a punt road over next time they do that, across the next door, where they try. Yeah. You wouldn't spoon? Hey, thank you. A 32-point loss to Adelaide, within Adelaide, okay, but they were up in a unit for a lot of the game, and then blown away, they were unwatchable. Unwatchable. And they play West Coast as well? Yeah, and I'd be a chance. West Coast will beat Sinkilda. West Coast will beat Sinkilda. Do you don't want to do that? I'm not very happy about that. West Coast will beat Sinkilda. Well, they're going to have to run and carry the lines, because... Skyfield will allow that. It'll be a different look like we saw yesterday. It'll be a different look. They'll take the game on. I hope they do. I hope they better be. They'll say Sinkilda, Scotty. They'll say Sinkilda. Go and kick a big score. You want to beat us? You're going to have to kick a big score. You're not going to win these eight goals to seven. Sinkilda will say, "You'll kick six, we'll kick seven." Yeah, and I reckon West Coast will say, "Okay, that won't happen." West Coast will kick 15, and Sinkilda will have to kick six. I hope you're right, but it's almost a game that... And I don't think I've missed an Eagles game this year, or doppler's game this year. It's almost a game where I'll just go, "You know what, I'll catch the highlights." Brown low middle. Well, that rolls your GWS premium as it rolls into my Brown low middle, which is Toby Green. Just did Toby Green things again, and he's been playing second fiddle all year this year. But Toby Green's four goals, probably five or six game winning moments, and that was good enough for me to be the best on this week. Daniel, this is better from the Giants, gives it to Toby. He's going to run in and bang home his fourth. You bet he is! Toby, the superstar, gives them a spark! Yeah, simply outstanding. Mine is Errol Gordon, 40 times. Yeah. And I know North Melbourne were witches hats, and they looked tired north of it. 41, though. That's incredible. So Errol Gordon, five weeks work for me. You're rising star? Erising star, well, I'm going from the factory. I'm going from the factory of Bacentine. I've still blew over, just produced another one in Lawson, Humphries. He's been playing OK. He was an Eagles' Academy player, was he not an NGA? Just until I get my head around why the Eagles and Dockers have to worry about an academy where they don't actually get access to them. I agree. He was a part of that. OK. Wasn't he? He was a beauty. He's from the Black Ducks. He had 23, 96% efficiency, 13 marks, 6 intercepts, 4 inside 50s. That's a rising star, nom for mine. And when he gets fit, he'll be even better. Yeah. Because he's got a bit of fitness to make up. Mine is our man. We've had him in the studio before he was drafted. He kicked his first AFL goal. He kicked his second AFL goal. He kicked his third AFL goal in the one game, Steely Green. Banks drives it inside 50. Can they get a mark? They can! Steely. Points his shoulder towards goal. Banks at home. He's got three. On the high seas. This dumb bird. Our man, Gilligan. Steely Green is my rising star. Winners and losers from the weekend. Winners was the semi-send-off. I absolutely loved it and it goes back, and we mentioned this out last week. It goes back to having Mark Harvey in the studio, talking to Mark Harvey about coaches and his comment of, "We don't fare well coaches well enough," you know, because it generally ends badly. But you don't get a proper fare well. You don't get to say thanks to the fans and all that sort of thing that I don't get to thank you. I think the Eagles did it beautifully yesterday, and I think Simo did it beautifully. He could have easily just gone, "No, no, no, no, I'll come to the game, or I'll watch it home," or, "I'm not being interested by that," and he's not seeking the spotlight sort of blokes, Simo. But I think they did it beautifully yesterday. Toss and the coin, a great send-off on the banner. Thanks, Simo. Crowd on their feet, and I thought it was an absolute winner of the weekend. Yeah, great. And in the corporate box, of course, we're here from Simo after seven o'clock with the Hammers brochure. Yeah, apparently. Was it? With his 2018 premiership team. What I liked about the whole thing for Adam Simpson was the fact is his family embraced and his kids were all there with their Eagles scarves, their Eagles jacket on. They loved that football club, it's been a big part of their growing up for 11 years, and he's a part of that club's history forever. And I thought to see him in the box with the 2018 premiers, but also the board members and the board members, they had to make the final call on him when he put it back on, and Don Pike was there as well. I thought it was all very mature and very well-handed. And it just shows the class of Adam Simpson, doesn't it? This is absolutely classy. You could have absolutely thrown the toys out of the cot, but handed it beautifully. That he did. So we agree on that one? Yep. Another one for me is the Claremont Football Club guys, Claremont League team. They got it. They got the memo. They understand what a guard of honour is all about. And beginning of what it is, it's for 300 or a game's record, in this case it was the game's record equalling of Tony Nott and the Walker, 305 games, and over they came after a loss, first loss in 10 years at Steel Blue for Claremont. And over if a guard of honour, they get it. They know what a guard of honour, what deserves a guard of honour, and they were there. Yep. I wanted to, just on the flip side of that, was also well done to West Coast and Brisbane, who allowed Jared Berry to walk off with 150, and Liam Reiner to walk off with 100. There was no, "Oh, do you want to be cheered off or you want to?" No, no, just let me walk off, that'll be nice. I thought Liam Reiner, she was fantastic, he's 100th game, mine goes to Luke Parker, he returned after suspension and injury and a whole range of others, and he came on the ground and he just, I think he racked up more tackles than anyone in the 15 minutes he was back on the ground and he's unbelievable, and he achieved a milestone, he kicked his 200th goal and didn't, they celebrate. Handballs to Robodham, Robodham centering, ball Parker! Luke Parker's marked a 35th out from goal directly in front, to kick his 200th goal in AFL football and his first game back, of course he was going to kick it, and every single Sydney Swans player comes to celebrate with him. Some players that just have to be in a team, and you just got to find a spot, he's the perfect spot finding player. And you'll play any role you want him to play, and obviously universally loved, but how frightening is that? They can just throw Luke Parker back in there, does he stay there? Oh, he stays, Macanoon is going to miss a month with a PCL. I hope he does, the other one was, the winner I've got down was Ruben Jimmy off half back, I really like the move. Talk more about that with Hammer after seven, mine was Port Adelaide. Winners? Yep, for allowing Willy Rioli to come to Perth, he's been injured, he'll come back next week, and he was allowed to be in Perth, rather than just stay in Port Adelaide or hang around doing nothing, to come to be a part of 2018, so he would have had to get permission to come across and be a part of the farewell for Simmo, great to see him there, great to see him. Because he didn't leave the club in great terms, he wanted to go back for personal reasons and there was a bit of who are about all those reasons. Very mature of my west coast as well, to pay. Yeah, 100%. As a premiership player, always a premiership player, aren't you, really? Yes. So, hats off to Port Adelaide for allowing that, I've got one loser, but you can go. Well, I've got a couple, and I've had this time, but it's starting to get a lot more attention now is she can win tackles back, and they've actually been encouraged, maybe you've got weeks for them before, now they're being encouraged. Lee Matthews, big glass night on nine. I saw it last night, already in a written day, so I've just lost over there because it's going to get a lot of attention, and he's banged on the money. But my other one, post game yesterday, Lee Ryan kicks his goal, and instead of, you know, the sirens gone, so it's straight into the winning team's song, and I opt to study him DJ, he says, "I feel like a bit of Kanye." The line's winning 16, 10, 1, 0, 6, by 13 points, west coast, 49, 93. It's just about looking extra flat for the day I'm down on the test score. What is, uh, Kanye West on? Kanye West, yeah, it's the new Brisbane theme song, Pete. Surely not. I reckon they've stuffed it up. I reckon the DJ has pressed it up. I reckon the DJ's sacked after tonight. I was more impressed that Pete knew it was a Kanye song. We're about to unplete these. He's cool. He's a cool dude, Pete. Mine is Ross Lyon, because, well, he just was another victim for the Ross Lyon mood. Well, it's pretty bodgey, I've worked so far as Ireland, and I just just fell apart. How about you invest some infrastructure in the stadium? You've got everything where I'd do some phone systems. Yeah, so he whacked the phone on the desk and then I smashed it in front of it, but I've got form in that. I've just needed to share that. Yeah, you do. So that was it. That was it. In the game, we were playing Peele Thunder and Morobito had 26 touches in the first quarter. And you're coaching Colts? Yep, Subi. And I was... There's two more coaches that need to use that phone. Yeah, and when I walked out and just sort of said, "I'll just leave that there." And then they went across, "Let's go to Sydney, take on the West Coast Eagles, and let's go up and there's Paul Ruse in the box and Paul Ruse was looking at the phone." And then the next shot they had was some guy putting electricians up around it, up to it and smashed it. So I get where you've been. So he's the loser. There, Ross Lyon, any other losers? That was what it has to do, was he? I want to make mention too. It could be in the winners. In fact, it will be a sort of a win-out to post winners and losers. But my brother Tony, who's over from northern New South Wales, lives on the border of New South Wales and Queensland, and his wife, Jude, you're over here for a holiday, and they come to the footy with us yesterday. You could say yes, because it's a big game, and you probably write a lack of maturity. But we do have mature bodies around the place. One question I'll post to you this morning, boys, is selection. It's been established that our game revolves around two ruck. Yet every time Thor and Darcy has been unavailable, we haven't picked the second ruckman. And the match committee thinks it's a good idea to take your most important forward line piece, our boy, and throw him in the middle of the ground. I don't understand it. You've got Liam Reddy at what, Peele? He said 9,643 headouts this year. But if your game style revolves around two ruckmen, how do you not play two? I don't understand it. It's a fair call. You wouldn't be moving Josh Chacey from anywhere other than our forward right now. Deep forward. Apparently it's a good idea. Yeah, I was just, not disappointed. I was surprised at that last week. And to see it again, you're taking away your robbing Peter to pay Paul. I agree with that. It's a good call, right? Good take. But the next couple of weeks are huge, boys. We've got to get home for two weeks. We have to bank these two. Yep. And four out of six is probably a minimum for the, to say we've, you know, to give yourself a kick for the season. You want to get four out of the last six and give yourself a good run at it. I know it's one week at a time, mate. But are you nervous at all about the second derby? Probably not. I would probably not. I would be, Ray. No. I would be. I don't know. Laura said our best is good enough. We've all seen it. How many of you? Yeah. No. I'm not nervous about the second derby. All right. Go on your way. Always good to chat, mate. Keep up the good work. And this year very level. I like that. There are some, you know, some criticism about their lack of flair late in the game. They were trying to sort of hold the game rather than try and win the game. So if you're a free man or fan, do you agree or disagree? That's the one thing, isn't it? Their lack of a plan B and lack of ability to adapt. I'm sure they've got a plan B, but there seem to be a lack of execution of it. Maybe that's, maybe we've seen the players all cushing stuff, but they've got to play with some dare at some stage. Poor, it's a good text you make. Here's an example of how tight the AFL table is. The last six rounds, Hawthorne, have won four games and lost one. And they've dropped from 12 to 13. Yeah. Brilliant. It is an incredibly tight competition. And Dave, good text. Gillie was also rolling around on the ground after he's ganged themselves celebration over there in the IPL. And will the tackle on Duggan that got him concussed? Yeah. Will it be looked at? Oh, I watched it seven times yesterday. I don't think it can be, but the only issue is right. So Charlie Cameron wraps him up in the tackle, which looks hectic. And then he seems to regroup and have more control over it and falls on him, takes him to the deck. I don't think it can be. I don't think it's as bad as his first one. We know that that ground is exceptionally hard. Even with the rain, it's a hard track. I don't think it can. I don't think he gets anything. It's concerns for William Duggan going forward, isn't it? It's his second one. His second one, he's got a three-year contract on the table. And they knew straightaway too. In fact, you can see it too. When players around you are legitimately concerned, there were three eagles. And I think one prison player, I'm not sure who it was. Monobene Lowman was standing there when he got to his feet. They all stood around him because he looked so groggy. They made sure he didn't fall again. I say he gets nothing. You? Nothing. I've got to get a breakaway. I've got to go around the country. A quick one from Ian on the text. Morningfellers, flat Monday. It's not coming home. Second loss at the final. Hurdle, hesitant substitutions and players carrying knocks. Congratulations to Spain. You want to understand who won the Euro final 2-1 against England. A break around the country after 7 o'clock. Hamish racial. Time to go around the country. Before we do that and head up to Brisbane. They're up and about. They're both there. State team. Both teams won from Queensland. Nutrient water, your destination for all things water. 21 and sunny today. 22 and sunny tomorrow. Beautiful. Showers increasing on Wednesday 22 and then 17 and showers. Nutrientwaterstore.com.au. Nutrient water sponsored country week too. So give them back to local footing, country footing. We're in stuff. Not bad to win. Lines are in the top four. It's scarcely believable from where they were about eight weeks ago. The sun's hanging around. No major surprises. I guess they won on their home deck. Big test for them this weekend when they're back on the road. Good weekend for the two teams. Gosh, just asked me about the Charlie Cameron tackle which resulted in Liam Duggan being concussed. Thoughts up there, mate. When will we find out today? Yeah, we'll find out later this afternoon. My gut instinct is a little bit unlucky, Charlie. I don't think you'll get into strife for that. It was unfortunate, obviously, that Duggan came away with concussion. But I don't think there was any twisting or driving in the tackle. It looks unlucky for me. Am I coming across as a homer there? No, I think you're right. I think you're right. I think you're right. We think it's just part and parcel of the game. Just some talk to your head hits the ground. They'll look at that the second bit of halfway through the tackle where he gets control of it. I think they'll look at that, but I agree. Football incident. A huge one for the Lions, though, this week against the Swans are true tests. But if they get a ball Sydney, especially when they're on the road and Brisbane at home, but Brisbane won yesterday, Fish, and we've had this discussion. We're going to have it more with the Hamish pressure after seven. They weren't great, Brisbane. They weren't great. They did only fall over the line against West Coast. Yeah, I think that's fair. And I've felt there's been a few cracks the last couple of weeks for Brisbane. They got over Adelaide the week before. They just got over Melbourne the week before that in the final couple of minutes. And it's been patchy-fully, whereas when they came out of the bite was all guns blazing. They hammered the bulldogs. They hammered port Adelaide. But I feel like they're getting through on three good quarters at the moment. And the big area of concern for Chris Fagan and his team would be their defensive transition, which has been a question mark over the last few years. But teams are being able to take the bull from one end of the ground to the other fairly easily. So I don't know whether it's a sign of fatigue or what it is, but they've got to get on top of it because, yeah, like you just said, they've played the swans this week and there's no hard of testing for you. I know they've had a couple of recent losses, but Parker back, Mills back, it feels like they've. They might have got over that little struggle that they had in the middle of the season. They might be ready to go again in the swans. And they're frightening swans. It'd be a great week for you up there, mate. It'd be a great game between Brisbane and Sydney. Sydney, thanks for joining us again this week. Fish have yourself a great week, mate. We had to Adelaide and speak to my man, Michael Angelo Rochi from Kimbo and Roch. Roch, well Adelaide, they were pretty good and did what they had to do against the Samus. Hmm. Go on, Rochi's just jumped out to go grab a coffee. Maybe he's got someone on the background. Rochi there, pal. No, he's not there. All righty. We won't talk to him anymore. Let's go to Jeff Smith at Fox Sports. Jeff, good morning. What is there to go on? Hey, Smilly. How are you going, mate? Big week up in Sydney, both. Yeah, both having a win there as well. So, happy days in Sydney for Sydney football, but the swan is, are they getting stronger with a few inclusions? Yeah, like these guys in time, they run home absolutely perfectly. Haven't they watched six games to go? They've just got the captain back who's, you know, and they've got enough games and he's felt to get his full fitness back. And then you throw in a guy like Luke Parker as well. Said after the game, he felt like he was making debut again, such as the journey. He's been on this year. So, I think you're right. What are they? What are they? 12 points or 10 points on top of the ladder? And they've just brought in two of their biggest names for a run at a grand final or a premiership. So, I think you're right. And then you got Isaac Eaton. He, you see the standing ovation. He got when he walked around the boundary line. There's been some brilliant tension guard on between the swans and giants over the weekend with Toby Green taking the mickey out of him with that apology video. It hasn't gone down too well with swans, but it's made for good photo anyway. Very true. And one last one before we let you go, Smith from Foxport. Toby Bedford, a really strong tackle on Toronto, but Toronto did go off with concussion. Yeah, I think that's going to be a bit of a tough one. But he's been a pretty important player for him to the last few weeks. They're getting into that tagging role. So, you know what? They miss a week, but I don't know these days. It's hard to know what we're going to get out of the tribe here or whatnot. So, we'll keep a close eye on that one here in Sydney. Good on you, mate. Yes, Smith. Always do good for his time. Bruce from Freo. Hi boys. Do you think Pierce, Ryan, Cox and Draper with Walker and Clark from run can start in the back line or is it one tall, too many? That's horses for courses. I think it'll probably depend on who you're up against. Bruce, and that's the issue, but all of those guys. I mean, Ryan can play smaller. Cox can play smaller, Draper can play smaller. So, they're pretty versatile for big men, aren't they? Brendan on the text. Maybe Ray should have given some credit to Hawthorne. Freo couldn't find anyone to be to play with one arm. Yes, James Sizzi. But he says the back line was huge. He's kidding himself. Oh, we have feedback for Ray. Scottie from Scarborough. Cameron gets off because he's a good bloke. I just don't think he even gets... I don't think he even gets anything for it, to be honest with you. Naughty, I get that every other club had a chance to pick them up. But how have the Eagles recruited Smith out on two players under their eyes? Nick Martin and Lawson Humphreys. Naughty. Well, Lawson Humphreys, he was out there academy, but he went pick 50 odd. Yeah, he wasn't dominating. He wasn't dominating at Swindeats. No. No. We're obviously... Can't get a moment right behind him. He can't get a more. A lot of people think, "Oh, they're West Australian. You've got to get first pick of the prize, but you don't. There are better players than them going around in the draft. You go through every club. You go through every club and say, "How didn't they pick this bloke and this bloke and this bloke?" But when it's over a long period of time, it sort of stands out a little bit and leaves you in a hole with him. Grab 24 chicken McNuggets for $9.95. Get more for your money, Ed Mackers. Great to be here. Why is it great to be here tonight? It's always good to see your two faces get in. The ducks have had another win. Yeah. The boys are flying along. That's good. I bet it too. It does. Yeah. We don't want to talk too much about the duck. He's already covered that offer as well. I've got some more time for him. I've got a text on the weekend. They were interviewing a couple of the tiny, not of course a week. A bit of walkers record. Yep. And something like that, I don't know who it was. But someone ran in front of the camera on the TV camera. So that. I did the big Western Front W. Talent names. It was talent names. It was talent names. It was best, town of best name, cancel a talent names. Talent names did the big. Yeah. He's just happy with where the large rat was serving in a row. I'm not sure. I don't want to be too early. Just one week at a time for the Black Ducks. So I was even up there with constituents. I reckon during the game. Probably 27 in. And in comes the... Straight out the forest. I saw it. I saw it. I saw it and just showed my head went on. Yeah. And there's also Stanley right. Yeah. The Norm Smith Nettles from Wembley B grade. Yeah. Who is that in the background of that photo doing the Western Front W as well? Not sure. One of your boys on your socials. Yeah, I don't know. It's back. It is. It's back. The legacy. It's one of those things. I'm not upset that I missed my absence of the state. W. Oh, cool. You don't know what you don't know. Special day yesterday for the West Coast. I thought they handled it really well with the departure of Adam Simpson. His family would... We've mentioned this in the opening. The fact is that his family were all decked out in their eagles colours. He was in the box with his 28-day premiership team and a few extras. I think that... No, I'm not sure. Gaffey doesn't have a. I got him. I don't know in sport. Well, I saw Nick. He was sort of on the side of the box. Yeah. It wasn't like it. It was long. He was just coming over to say hello to a few people. Gaffey didn't look like he was sure to be there. Gaffey's like... Oh, comparing Nettles. Gaffey's just had a kid. Gaffey's just had a kid. He was happy to get out of the house. Yeah. But I thought it was really well done. We've spoken about that nauseam and we've had great feedback thoughts. Yeah. I thought it was very well done as well. I mean, he's not a man of the spotlight and would have very much liked to have done nothing on the day. But, from my understanding, it was right. I'm happy to toss the coin. If you want me to do a little interview, I will. And then I just want to go up and watch the game. And I think they let him do that well. I think he was always going to get a good crowd reaction. The way that he was portrayed in the West last week tripled that. And so, you know, it was rousing. But it was a good send-off for a fitting coach in the last 11 years. I thought it was well done. Yeah, me too. I thought it was very, very special for him. Oh, I said during the quarter. He's not a man who wants the attention. There was a spotlight on him. And I loved his final bit. It was... Right, let's get on with it. Go Eagles. Just loved it. Then Lee and Ryan came to go. And there was a shot. I saw someone in social. He had him genuinely clapping. And he was enjoying the game. But can you imagine how difficult it was to watch? Oh, yeah. That would have been tough. And, like, because they were competitive. They were pretty good. They started badly. And then, like, then they came back. They were a couple of goals in it late towards the game. And, I mean, it's not his fault that they were. They have been playing bad. It's, you know, they're just... And sometimes a change of coach sort of sparks a little bit of life. No, it does. But watching that and having nothing to do with it would have been a bit of a relief. But, yeah, at times it would have been like, "Oh, geez, this is tough." And I wanted it to cross to the box when Simo was hanging out of the box going, "Screaming." "Screaming." "Screaming." "Screaming." I love his departure. You see him in the back. They had a shot of the corporate box. You know, Fox were all over it. And so they used it up on the ground. That he clearly had said to the kids, "We're out." And he left before the end. Yeah, before the end. And he just went, "Come on." And you can see him, "We're out of here." Who's the traffic? Yeah. It was the first one. From my reports, it was the first bloke at the gate underneath waiting for it. No, no, no, no. All righty. So give us your, who should, who's left? What's left in the tank for? Maybe the West Coast Eagles over the next six weeks and a couple of others. We've been talking all morning because we want to play this. Oh, yes. I'm the great, pretending, pretending. Pretending that I'm doing well. We just want to know who are the great pretenders in the competition right now, because a side of Sydney who also had their little-- Yeah, they had a little bit. But when you look at the list of the latter, Carlton Second, so their 12 points clear Sydney. Carlton Second, Jollong, they might no longer be a pretender. They might be real. Brisbane, they might be real. But then we go Fremantle, Essendon, Giants, Melbourne, Port, Bulldogs, Gold Coast, Collingwood and Hawthorne. We could stop there. So basically, we've got 13 teams in contention. Incredible. Who are the genuine contenders and who are the pretenders? I thought we were playing on this day again. Yeah. Hang on. That's all that I've never heard of. He developed segments that can incorporate one of his favourites. Yeah, exactly. Ah. Sydney, actually a cut. No question about that. I still think Carlton are the real deal. You can have a bad game. I like the dogs. I think they're OK. No. I just-- Oh, I hate them. Yeah, see, I thought they were all right. Look, I'm not sold on-- I work backwards. I'm not sold on Collingwood anymore. I think they're done. I think they're shot. Haze was right. Hawthorne. I just need him to say it again. Just get on fire. Upping police. Hawthorne, I think, are coming. I think they're a chance to make finals. They won't win it, but they're a chance. They're not contenders, but they're a chance to make a shake or something. He can coach. He sure can. And they can coach. And if they do, they'll rattle a couple. Yeah, I think they might-- they'll make the finals and win a final. I think they'll lose it. Oh, wow. I reckon they'll lose it. I think if they make it, they'll win the first. No problem, yes. No finals in Tazzy. And they're good down there. Yeah, they're very good down there. Gold Coast won't make finals. They're not a contender. They need to learn to win away. They're three. Nine and zip and seven and whatever it is. He's just zero. Zero seven. It's incredible. Incredible. So they're no good. They're gonna grow up. The Bulldogs, I think, are OK. I think they've got a really good list and they've got good players and they were able to beat a good Carlton team without their set defense. They get into the eight and get on a roll. Their percentage is just gonna be the game changer of them. I had them in the beginning of the season, I think, top four. And I love them. Then you get off them. And then I jump off them. And you just can't tip them with-- You can't tip them with any confidence. Who else have I got? Poor Adelaide. Not sold on them at all. Melbourne, rubbish. Not sold on them. GWS. Melbourne, rubbish. Yep. Melbourne, rubbish. Don't worry about 'em. They're gonna go. No, gone, no, Patraco, and they beat Essendon who are-- Yeah, Essendon who are-- I haven't got to them yet. Don't worry about that. GWS. GWS, I think, are gonna be good. Backhand. They're getting better and they're just starting to hit their straps. Essendon are the worst team from 1 to 13. Essendon are the worst team. Hang on. That was-- That was Melbourne last week. Yeah, it's not that many more. Essendon will not make the eight. And from 1 to 13, Essendon-- Actually, go down. From 1 to 15 is Adelaide and St. Kilda are better than Essendon. Essendon are the worst team. No, they're not. Essendon are the worst team outside the top three. They're gonna fall out of the eight. Fremantle, I am not very sold on anymore. It was a real bad one down there. They needed to win that and they just quit. The beaten by a good team in Tassie. They need to win that if you're a contender. You've got to be able to go down there and knock them on the head and they didn't. So they'll have to-- That'll take some convincing Brisbane aback, flying to-- Are they? Yep. They've washed up West Coast with like every team that has a new coach wins. And they-- No, they did what they needed to do. They did what they needed to do. If somebody's fighting me the stats, then he's a bollocks. No, it's not. They're team at all at a time. No, they're good. They did what they did. They just quit. Locky Neill's gonna win another brown light and they're back. Can you convince him that? He's dying on the vine right there. He's the best player in the competition. If you're gonna build a team around anyone, he's not the first one you're picking. Sure it doesn't matter. The Braille Medalist isn't always the best player in the competition. He is. He's voted on what pool he doesn't have. He is unbelievable. He's speed from stoppage. He just doesn't stop. He's gone back to back to back to back to back for three bucks. I gave him three on the way. Yeah, he was. And he played on Zane True for a fair bit. And everyone was-- Zane True. He went to him in the second half. Yeah, and it got ugly. It was ugly half time. It got ugly half time, too. What do you have? You had 21 in the first half and then he had 14 in the next. He was good. Did he? I liked Zane True. I thought he played on his side. No, I saw did I. But I don't remember who he played on his side. Yeah, I understand. But did he really play him? Jelonga. Jelonga back. They're back. And then Carlton are back. Carlton are good. Do you come based on Jelonga? I'm convinced on Jelonga. Hey. Rollingwood Hall thought Essendon. They've won the last three. Convinced on Jelonga. They made Essendon who were the worst team in the competition. Essendon, how do you-- Look at how he played who you're against you, folks. Jelonga would only just go on. They'd be not-- Still got a beat on mate. Still beating three teams who at the time were still considered to be a threat. I'm a smack tool. Never tipping Essendon again, are you? I'm not. Oh, yeah? Really? What about Carlton? For Crippa's big guy? Yeah, that was really disappointing. That was really disappointing. But I still think they've got what it takes. Charlie Coney, kick three golf seven. Seven. Kick the ball straight and they win the game. You can't have ten shots in goal and not be. Oh, man. He's my man. It's hard to get it. It's hard to get it than a kick. He actually kicked four-one. You look at the cold hard stacks. He kicked four-one, not three-seven. He hit all heads up. That's right. That's true. That's true. Yeah. Okay. So, have you got out of that ring? So, you're contenders. You're genuine contenders. Why, genuine contenders. Sydney, Carlton, Brisbane. Mm-hmm. GWS. And they're my genuine contenders. Pretenders in the eight arrested in Melbourne. Essendon Melbourne. You're not convinced I'm free, aren't you? They're not pretenders, but I'm not convinced. I'm Essendon Melbourne are pretenders there. They won't be there at the end of the year. Well, I'm now convinced Jollong are good enough to contend. I'm not. I'm not. And I think Sydney are that far in front of you. Yeah, no one's good enough to contend that I would send you. But, wait, wait, wait. You gave me mine. Sydney lost a couple. And now we're all over again. They've beaten North Melbourne. Yeah, but everyone lose. Everyone lose. They're clean. Oh, no. They could lose four players and you wouldn't know. They're the depth. You're Lauren. Errol Gordon gets 40 for fun. 41. He gets 40 for fun. To find the football 40 times in a game of football is unbelievably tough. West Coast Poly complete tank solutions. Tanks for agriculture, residential and industry. West Coast Poly.com.au. What's left in the tank for the next six weeks for West Coast? We're spoken about it. We're talking about Jared Scofield and they play with a bit of freedom. What do you think more they can do now? What's left in the tank inside? They're playing stocks in regards to blokes who are playing in the waffle reserves. They had a fantastic win in the waffle reserves. I thought hats off to Jack Darling, going back there and committing and playing really well. Because he could have gone back for the sorts, but he didn't. No, he didn't. And I do say it. I'm a firm believer of it. That it's as a key forward. It's sometimes harder to go back to the waffle and get a kick than it is in the AFL because delivery is different. Foot is different. Yep, sure is. The first time playing with the burly would have been tough. Well, that's a weird, weird thing. Just a very different. It really is. It is a terribly completely different football. No, I like them. No, this is right. But it's terribly different. The contrast between a share and a burly is very different. So, to get a couple into play with that sort of attitude, is that the first time he's back there? First time he rocked up at 9.30. Full kit. I don't need to give him a phone. Because you can't have your phone in the AFL gap. Where do I need to have my phone in the phone box or anything? Come on. Just chill, man. Just relax. You just don't want to be in for another 40 minutes. It's like the bench has got its phone. Have your bet. Relax. Sit down. Get yourself for a couple. Yeah. So, West Coast have got, okay, let's go through West Coast draw for the next six. Yeah. Send Kilda at Marvel. I don't think that we know. I think so. Well, hell. I don't score. Yeah, I know. But they'll just make you the ugliest game in the world. I think that's what they do. West Coast will win that. West Coast will absolutely win that next week. You. No, no. We're taking that to the bench. Well, you took three minutes on the weekend. I'll be. I'll be. Yeah. Is that said? I didn't quite know the tazzy bank. You didn't know the tazzy opening house. The tazzy opening house. Yeah. Sure. All right, Saints. I'd say lose. Oh, I think the Saints will beat him. Hell. Come on. Tell me how. I don't score. I know. Terrible. They'll just lob a deer and they'll make it so miserable. Give it. Do that. West Coast were terrific on the weekend with their ball movement across our back. Yes. They were. Thank you. No, no, no. I'm not saying it because I want to. I'm saying it because thank you all just suck so much to watch. Yeah. That it'll be horribly ugly. It's going to be tough. They're going to lose the derby. Yeah. A point of three-mountain. A home three-mountain. Oh, they don't know that. We all said that. The first one. They'll win this. They'll win this one here. They embarrassed three-mountain on the first two. They did. They killed him. They'll win this. Gold Coast are. Gold Coast here. Is that here? Yeah. Gold Coast is a sea-grade amateur team away from home. So they'll lose that. North Melbourne away. Tazzy. Winnable, go. Tazzy's tough. It's winnable. Yeah, it's winnable. No questions. They could win three in the next four. They could be back. All of a sudden, we're making a charge. It's a good time to have taken over. Oh, yeah, great time. I thought it was dangerous for him to take over. Yeah. If they lose them, though, it's dangerous. Good time to be taken over with optimism. But you lose a couple of times. Maybe I'm just now sort of glass half four after I saw their commitment yesterday. I don't think Brisbane were great yesterday. I don't care what anyone does. They did what they had to do. Yeah, but they weren't great. So what I'm saying is Brisbane's performance wasn't sparkling to West Coast State nagging length for a long time, didn't they? It's amazing what happens when you've got to just go out and have some fun books, go out and play with some freedom. We're going to loosen it right up and that sort of thing. So it's amazing what that does to you. Shekels off. Who they got next? They've got Carlton here. Gotta be tough. Yep. And the last one, they've got too long. Well, that's an even tougher finish. Yeah. Okay. So they're going to win three of their next four. Yeah, for two. Which two have you got? Gold Coast and North. I guarantee they'll beat Gold Coast and they're a chance against North and St. Kilda. I'll give them two in the next six. Yeah, that's right. Saints, against your team. Yeah, they'll beat St. Kilda. Yeah. St. Kilda. That's shocking. They're pouring in. Yeah, they are. Yes, rubbish. So they got for a game. Oh, go as far as to say that they were a blight on the game right there. Yeah. Thank you. So there it is. They got three left in the tank. Yeah. Six weeks. They're going to blood some. They're going to get some youngsters. They're going to play some kids. I think, I'll tell you what I think they should do. I think they should get Andrew Gaff to the 300 life member club. How many? He needs to play three more. Play him as a sub three times. I don't hand him. Yeah. I'll be happy with it. Just get to him. Dennis Paine did with Mick Martin. Mick Martin got a three hundred for his. And he was walking around on one leg. He was broken to bits and he just... I want to explore this more. Yep. I think he's done enough for the footy club to get to 300 life. It's not 300 games. He can count pre-season games, all the rest of it. He just gets AFL life membership with three more games of AFL football. And I'd get him there. I think he's done this. I know he would have been there already if he didn't. If he didn't. If he didn't. Yeah, he did that. You know. Got that. He said at the time that was for all brazials. Exactly. I know. Because I had a longer drive than him. But no, I think I'd seriously... They've got... No, they're not going to win. They're not going to make the finals this year. They're going to be able to blow to enough youngsters that are talented. You're not going to bring in... Catby Rookies from the Waffle just to see them this year. They're going to be on next year. But kids like... I mean, I look at the next six weeks. I would play him as the sub in the last two. Just because you're not going to beat Carlton or Geelong. You might as well play him as a sub and give him a chance. To get the numbers up. And I'd play him in one of the other weeks. Do you think he would accept that? Yeah. I think he would. That's interesting. I don't know what doors it unlocks. AFL Life Membership. But I would get... I would take us to Grand Falls every week. Yeah, I would. Which he got himself a very random. Yeah, he said. I'd get him there. I don't think the club has enough. I don't think there's like... There's not many people that can get to that. At... Over the course of it. You're going to give them to them. Yeah. You're going to give games to people who don't deserve games. Yeah. I would in this case for the last six weeks. I'd get him three more. OK. That's an interesting call. Doing nice things. Doing nice things. I thought that's what got him in this mess. Yeah. But I would be... I'd be... If they came out and just said, "Hey, I know you guys don't want to see Andrew Gaff playing anymore, but we're going to get him 300 games." I think after the whole respect thing for Simo's career and all the rest of it, if they came out and just said, "We're going to play him as a sub three times." And he'll be the third or fourth of West Coast history to get that mark. That's one of the first times you and I've disagreed, I think. Yeah. I just think I'd get him there. Free mantle. OK. You're a good Melbourne Sunday here. Free out will walk on him. Walk all over him. Free mantle have got to find a way to bounce back after that. Top four. Always up for grabs. Trying to find what's left in the tank for free mantle going forward. They've got the Derby. We've had that discussion. They'll win that. They will win that. OK. Then, free mantle has Essendon away. MCG. Essendon worst team in the comp. You'll never do it again. Never do it again. Free mantle will win that. Put those down as these tips officials. Yeah, you can. I'm happy for you to do it. Nothing's going to save him. You can try any method he likes. Double points for Hammer on the last one. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They'll push. We're going to push this. Geelong here. Optus. They'll... Tough. They might lose it. They might lose it. They might lose it. That's a tough one, too. They might lose that. Those are nasty. Run home. Pour it out late here. I think they'll win that. We could press. Yeah. That's what we could do. We could double down and press. Yeah, I'm with you on that. They could just the eight free mantle. They could also finish second. Tell me if they missed the eight. No, they don't. Oh, if they missed the eight, it... Oh. Thank you. If they missed the eight, there's some questions that are asked. If they missed the eight, there's some questions that are asked. When you go... That's a sure sign you know exactly what I'm talking about. Oh, yeah. The pressure comes for the top. I think... I don't think JL would lose his job if they don't finish top eight. No. But there would be... How this year's going at the moment and how tight it is, 1 to 15. Yeah. There's going to be sides that missed the eight that actually will probably walk away and go... But we didn't have a bad season. It wasn't a... If they missed the eight, they've got plenty to... Yeah. Positive's out there. Twelve wins won't make it this year. No. Thirteen wins might lose... Thirteen wins might miss out on percentage. Yep. Which is just crazy. To think that you could get thirteen wins in an AFL season and miss out on percentage is just ludicrous. But, look, I don't think Fremantle will miss out on the eight. But they have fine liners for these coaches. You're talking Justin... Justin Longmeer could finish second. Yep. They had a chance to be second now. Yep. They could finish second and they could also miss. Yeah. So the difference between his future... Scott was the Australian coach six months ago. Yeah. They're flying. And now they're going to finish 12th. Can... That's the real thing. Caningly was getting booted off. He might finish... Yeah. They might play finals once they win lunch. What if they win a couple? You know, what if they all of a sudden make a... Out of nowhere make a pre-lin final? So... Bulldogs lose beverage. God is out the door. Yeah. Finish. They're after a sneaky chance if they can figure out how to play. Football. Every week. We opened the show with our normal winners and losers. And we're going to bring you into the conversation. So one of my losers was... And I sort of... I sort of like as a winner as well for GWS. And Scott, you know, I sort of beg to differ a little bit on this. Is that Jack Buckley requested to go to Paris to watch his partner Celeste Muchey. Yep. In the 100 hurdles. Yep. And they've said no. Yeah, that's disappointing. No. Good job to do, don't I? No, hang on. What? So that could be the highlight of their partnership. They highlighted their relationship like having a baby. No, you're stuck with that for life. So she goes to the Olympics. She's trained all her life to get there. It's the greatest moment in their relationship. She also tore a hamstring 12 weeks ago and had to make a miraculous recovery to get involved. Oh, so now you've got to blame the S and C staff. No, no, no. I'm just saying it's just been a mountain to get to this point. So you're saying? I mean, the baby stuff is interesting and interesting call because people do miss for that. Yeah. Go back over the history books. How many blokes have had a partner in the Olympics? Oh, that's a tough one. I don't think you'd have. I can't remember one off the top of my head. Not publicly. They've pulled out. Yeah. Oh, what game would he miss? I remember. Oh, I mean, it's been here. The end of the day. You don't want to fly for 13 seconds. That's true. You're watching on telelogging. Not just watching one race. You get a haze. She might not have made the fort. No, she might have made the fort. Get the haze. Get in there. Just call it for me. See you come. Oh, that was a joke. That's a joke. You know what? You know what? You broke there and now I'm breaking up with you. It's all about it. It cost me a spot. Yeah. It cost us a premise. Yeah. Well, it starts in two weeks, isn't it? Yeah. Yeah. So they've got Melbourne. Melbourne. They'll win that. Don't worry about that. The home's is on soon. Anyway, does anyone tell me to win another game's on? Producers. Don't just sit there and Google it. It's a 12 days order. God, strike me. That Hawthorne. That's a tough one. They probably need him. Yeah. I know, Mitch Lewis has done so he's fine. He can walk off. Up top, up top. Yeah. He put him down and hurt pretty good. Yeah. He might need him there. Sorry sir. Sorry, are you? Joshua Tracy. You could play. Yeah, he can't go anywhere. I know. That's one of those. No, he's GWS. And Bulldogs. Did you marry you? You go Haygan and Norton and... You know what, he's got a job to do. You can't go anywhere. He's half half half a football. He has a job to do. Yeah, 26. Two weeks. Let him go. Let him go. Give him a wake. It's not awful, mate. What if he's racing? Not awful when I say I may or can't play this week because I'm just heading in. What if she's racing on a Tuesday? And he flies out on the Monday. I'm okay with that. Gets there. Watchers. Leaves Wednesday. Comes back Thursday. Play Saturday. It's the Toby Green we're talking about. What do they have to say? He said the second best defender. Jack Buckley, mate. He said the second best defender. Oh, he's a very good player. Very important. He was nearly the first. He should have been the first blind to keep Charlie Keanu Golis in 64 games. It didn't. Last week. And then he threw his mouth down. But what they should say to him is, you can go. But you will be flying first class on your coin. First class. And you will be back rested. No, not business. You'll be flying first class. Have a small pain for that. You will be back rested there and back. And you'll be back. He'll never live it down if he came back in a blood kick six on him. It would be Korea. Well, maybe I'm not going to read during your work season. Question is, out there, 0487736. Let him go. Should Jack Buckley be allowed by GWS to go watch his partner Celeste in the 1,10 hurdles on him. Yes. Get him out. That happens all the time. No. More important than a baby. See. It's now you seriously? More people in the world have babies in running the Olympics. So, how about that? That's fair logic. Where have you sit on it? He shouldn't be gone. Yeah. It's just bad luck. Sometimes you have to make sacrifices. I've been walking into the office to Adam Kingsley and the bosses and going, "Oh, can I have a chat?" Yeah. But, you know Celeste is in the Olympics. She's pretty good. Yeah. She could be. She came out with one of those big boarding passes the other day. Let him go. Am I any chance Jack plays? No. I wouldn't have thought so. Meanwhile, all the boys are having the wake off because they've just had a kid. Any of them do you see rolling around? Lots. They have a week off. Exactly. He's going to have a game off. Once every four years he's having them. You don't fly to Paris to watch a wife have a baby. Mate, he can run in Paris. There's running checks everywhere this time of year. I've got everywhere to train. He's going to pass. He'll go. He won it in this week. The race will fall on a Wednesday. The race will fall on a Wednesday. He'll be back on the Friday. Yeah. You're glass half full. There's plenty left in the tank there for West Coast Poly. Complete tank solutions. All right. Let's get our tips away for this week. So just across the tips, 99 me, 97 Hayes, 88 Scott. What? Hammer is. And we're pressing. So we're pressing around 24. Right here. We'll press from here. Friday. Essendon host. Adelaide. Adelaide better. Giants sons. Our Giants win that. St Kilda West Coast. St Kilda would win that. Hawthorne. Isn't it funny? Hawthorne Collingwood. Thirteenth versus twelfth. Yeah. I'm not sure. They don't think it's funny about that. MCG. I think Hawthorne win. Yeah, me too. Oh. By my change by come Friday. Geelong Bulldogs. Big game. Oh. Geelong. It's a GMHBA in it. Geelong win that. Don't you take that one to the bank. Port Adelaide. Richmond. Oh, Richmond. Rubbish. So yeah. Port Adelaide will win that. Still agree. How many kicks? Three. Get on him. Sunday. Brisbane host Sydney. Wow. Up at the Gabba. Yeah. The lines are flying. Tipped the lines. I had the beat. He's got a tip in my arm. You're going to tip Sydney and then go one back. I'm coming. I'm leaning towards Brisbane there. I really am. We'll do it then. Lock your tip in right now. No. No. No. Come on. Go on. Lock it in now. Hey, don't stand up. Who wants to play? The West Australian. Don't bully me into a corner. All righty. A free man or Melbourne rubbish. And free I'll get it done. And Carlton Northnow. Carlton Wind by 100 points. How much have I got? So I've got Adelaide to beat, hasn't it though? Yeah. Even a little bit hasty. Adelaide will beat him. Where is Adelaide on? It's at Marvel. It's at Marvel. Yeah, let's stay home grand. Adelaide on crime. It's not. Yeah. See how I'm going at Marvel? Yes. What are they doing playing there? It's the... Adelaide on crime. Yeah, Adelaide on crime. Yeah, it's a song. When they were going there long, he sang a song. We got a duck lens. Yeah. We got a duck lens. Adelaide's too big. It seems easy. We're going to duck. You've come out with some absolute crackers. No. I'm not to be asking them for the rest of the year. They'll probably win this game. But I'm not tipping them. So what's left in the tank? You've come up with some absolute crackers. One? Yep. Okay. You think I should gift Adrian Gaff to his 300th? Yep. I think give him AFL live membership. Yeah. Luckily he gets to go to Paris. Luckily he goes to Paris. Paris. Yep. Having him racing in the Olympics is if not as important, if not more important than having a kid. Because heaps people do that. I think that... That's a fair point. That's a good point, believe it or not. That's a weird point, but it's right. Essen will not make the eight, and I'm not tipping them all year. A west coast will win how many games? Two. Of six. When you go back to the Paris scene, his kid won't know that he's there or not, but he's Mrs. Will. Correct. He won't have a kid if he doesn't go. He won't have a kid if he doesn't go. That's people there. Let him go. I'm going to give you one more question before you go. Okay. Then we're going to get a hit from Adam Simpson when he spoke. And he did start by saying this was awkward. Yesterday, on the ground, we're going to hear from Adam Simpson as we go to the break. I want to hear, what do you think Adam Simpson's next move will be? Where do you think he'll... do you think he'll coach? Well, he'll put the feet up for a bit. He'll manage a couple of hungry jacks that he's got over here and... Do you put the feet up like Damon? How do we put the feet up? You go and have a holiday somewhere else. Six weeks and be completely rejuvenated. Yeah, because funny parties, he's never said that though, has he? Like, how do we basically say I'm burnt out and eat a break? Seems like I hasn't said that. He didn't want to eat a coach again. Yeah, I agree. Not next year, because he's still getting paid. He'll take the year off, go and do what Clarko did, go to America, go chill out, have fun. His youngest daughter, schooling, is the key to this. Why is she here, Josh? Well, she wouldn't. I don't think it's borderline going into grade seven or year eight. Oh, really? He's just going to wait until that year. He'll just wait until Clarko wants to finish and then he'll go and coach North. You reckon? Yeah, he's in. Yeah, he's in. No, that's... Why not? I think it's Bulldogs. Nah. He's mates with Devo. Yeah, but he's also played 300 games and was a captain at North. And mates with Clarko? Yeah. And would be welcome home with open arms. Wouldn't you? Brady Rawlings was the least manager here when he was... Yeah, that seemed to go well. Yeah, it did. Walk him out of the door. Wouldn't you? Wouldn't you? Wouldn't you pick a team where the coach is really on thin ice? Yeah, think so. Yeah. And you also want to pick a team that are going to be good and in three or four years, North are going to be unstoppable. Anyway, I reckon I put the fade up for a year and then coach Northing Throid. West Coast Poly complete tank solutions, tanks for agricultural residential and industry. West Coast Poly.com that I... You're at Agra today. Thanks, man. I always try my best. Always try my best. Last week when you didn't try that out when you didn't come in. Hey, just quick... Oh, I'm still going a bit. No, you did. You're always good. Just quick. Are you back playing? I'll be back this week. Yep. Back against Perth. Good on you. Thanks. No hanging fruit. You know, just, you know... It's go easy on you. Oh, they're good. Nice work. Hamish ratio. As we go to the break, Adam Simpson. Adam Simpson spoke yesterday and started off with awkward. It's a little awkward. Really quickly, just on behalf of the players, the coaches and the footy club. We'd just like to thank you guys for your support. Over the last 11 years, it's just been an amazing run. We've had a lot of success and our good was 18. Yeah. But we've also had some hard times as well and can't thank you guys enough and showing up appreciation in the last 12 months. You're stuck by the boys. You're stuck by me. And you're stuck by the club. I'll be part of you guys now about from the stands somewhere. Just need to get a couple of tips from someone. I'll be watching on. I can't wait to see these boys play in the next part of the journey of the football club. Thanks to everything. Let's get on with it. Go Eagles. Thank you. [CHEERING] Everybody. Thank you. [MUSIC PLAYING] [MUSIC PLAYING] [MUSIC PLAYING] [MUSIC PLAYING] [MUSIC PLAYING] [MUSIC PLAYING] [MUSIC PLAYING] [MUSIC PLAYING] [MUSIC PLAYING] [MUSIC PLAYING] [MUSIC PLAYING] Breaking news, Australian young gun Travis Bazzana. Sounds like a motocross rider. Yeah, Nebraska. Has been selected number one overall by the Cleveland Guardians in the major league baseball draft. That is huge news. He can't be OK for a little while. Brilliant stuff. What a joke. He supports her. She supports him. Buckley goes. Heats of the hurdles on the week. Then Dockers play then. He goes. There's Bruce. Steven Brooklyn is at his wife or-- no, we can't. That out. [LAUGHTER] We don't know that. Anthony says, so a putrid eagle is going to beat the Saints who you and Scotty say are putrid. Didn't the Saints beat the Swans last week, different postcodes. She is Anthony. Yep. Whatever. Hammer provides a brilliant insight and thought to the show says Ray. He does Ray. Maybe you should take a leaf out of his book. Oh. It's 18 away from me. [MUSIC PLAYING] [MUSIC PLAYING] [MUSIC PLAYING] I'm Scotty and Gus off the cuff. Time for off-the-cuff questions for you, Scotty. And you can throw one back at me if you want. Thanks to Kubota, taken any job with Kubota's range of tractors, mowers and utilities. Yes or no? Oh, a lot of yes or no. And I don't know. Yes or no. I don't know contract, so I don't get it, right? But this is the question for you. Contracts mean nothing. Who should be? Who will retain their spot on the Eagles list next year? [LAUGHTER] Oscar Allen. Yes. [DING] Jordan Baker. [MUSIC PLAYING] [MUSIC PLAYING] OK. Well, that's a tough one. I'm sure. [DING] [MUSIC PLAYING] [LAUGHTER] No, he's a rookie. Harry Barnet. [MUSIC PLAYING] Yes. Tom Barris. [MUSIC PLAYING] Yes. Tyler Brockman. Yeah, well, yeah. He has to. [MUSIC PLAYING] [MUSIC PLAYING] Well, I've got to get rid of you. So no, I haven't seen enough at home. Campbell Cheser. Yes. Tom Cole. No. Jamie Cripps. [MUSIC PLAYING] [MUSIC PLAYING] [MUSIC PLAYING] [MUSIC PLAYING] [MUSIC PLAYING] No. [MUSIC PLAYING] [MUSIC PLAYING] [MUSIC PLAYING] [MUSIC PLAYING] Yes. Jack Darling. No. Tyrell Dua. Yes. Liam Duggan. Yes. Harry Edwards. Yes. Luke Edwards. No. Matt Flynn. Yes. Andrew Gaff. No. Ruben Ginby. Yes. Clay Hall. Yes. Elijah Hewitt. Yes. Brady Hoff. Yes. Jayden Hunt. Yes. Colin Jamison. No. Harvey Johnston. Yes. Jermaine Jones. Yes. Tim Kelly. Big last six weeks for Jermaine Jones. Yes. Kingston. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, along. Yes. Ryan Merrick. Yes. Jeremy McGovern. Yes. Jack Petricelli. No. Lock Raulinson. Ah, you don't. Yes or no? Yes. No. Archer Reed. Yes. Harley Reed. Yes. Josh Rothham. No. Liam Ryan. Yes. Dom Sheade. No. Zane True. Yes. Jake Waterman. Yes. Jack Williams. Yes. Alex Witherden. It's a lot of people. For like, yeah, I think you will. Yes. It's good yesterday. Elliot Yoe. Yes. So I've got you on the full list. How many careers would this ruin? Oh, I haven't ruined any. That's the question. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven. Eleven gone. I'd say ten or just thrown an extra one. Yeah, bonus. Couple of those young guys I'm not sure of. You know, I'm comfortable with those ones. Probably I reckon maybe there's two or three maybe that might be wrong on. What a question for you. Can I ask you a question? If you're another one, you come in. Do you think, I think I know the answer. Do you think after your performance last week that you would be a lay down? For the Jeff Christian medal, which is the brand love of the media award. Do you think it's a lock right now with... You broke stories that were the first to break them across Australia. You broke three of them last week. The first person in Australia to break them. Do you think that that's probably enough work, a body of work to say that you're backed into almost unbackable favourite for the Jeff Christian award? I don't do this job for awards. But yes. I thought so. I thought so. Yeah, no. Yeah, actually question. You think you know the answer to already? I thought so. I am footy royalty. Yeah, it was a good week. It was a good week. But it was a good week for the network. We handled it. So I thought it right across the country and in particular out of these studios. I thought we had a really good week. It was a story that's been... So I don't think it's any groundbreaking news that it was the end result. But to have the timing of it and to break it on our platforms. A lot of journalists are first with the news, right? But you did something different. You were first and accurate. A lot of people are first, but horrible stuff. There's a little thing which I find very interesting. And Duff comes in after eight o'clock. It comes in after eight. I can understand young men who have kids in our industry taking holidays. And they have it in school holiday periods because you only get so much time. But there are some young journos in this town, both in TV and printing wherever they may be, who are journos. They're not former footballers who just come and go and do expert stuff. Who take holidays during the season. I find that quite amazingly staggering. Oh, I'm saying here. At the end of the day. I find that bizarre. At the end of the day, football drives every conversation in this state. In most states in Australia, footy drives the conversation. So it is the most important time to be at work. Have your holidays... I've never taken holidays that I recall in the season. Holidays for 20 years were in October. Yeah. You get there in the season and you're nacking. You lock it in and you're nacking it. Yeah, correct. But you lock that in knowing that's going to be your holiday time. Sorry, I can't go away at the moment. I'm going to work on the weekend. Anyway, sleep's in cheating. And it's probably cost people a medal. We're not in it for the medal, but God, it's going to be nice. And I get the award. Right. Hey, nice work. It was what you think, I swear. Oh, 100% I will. 100% I will. And also to my context at the Eagles soon. (LAUGHTER) You get better with this year. See if you don't want to this year. I can't win a gold medal. I am officially... No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. It's got to have a good day to that beautiful guy where it was. No doubt about that. Thanks to the company, everybody. Have a great day today. We'll do it again tomorrow from six o'clock on SNWA breath. W.I.B.E.B.E.S.T. You
