It's Scotty and Goss the Breakfast. Yeah, I don't change, you know, I need to do a job as best I can and I'll do that until I get tapped on the shoulder. So it's not, that's not really in question, so I sort of know how long the road's going to be. I'm up for it, but if the club's not, then they're not, so that's fine. I'm okay with my football mortality, it's okay. Sonos, multi-room listening, wireless home theatre and more experience game-changing sound this season with Sonos. Morning, everyone, four-par, six-talkie-depo studio for the next two hours and there's two story lines out of the weekend involving our two teams. One is the heat that continues to grow on the Eagles and, of course, Adam Simpson and Fremantle are now staring down a top two finish. No surprise, they'll be Richmond, but they continue just to grow on the back of Josh Tracy and the dominant midfield, Scotty Cummings, a very good morning. Hello, buddy. How are you going? Yeah, really well. Good weekend. Are you fresh? Yeah, yeah. What's good weekend? No, I was tired. I've worked plenty hard for the last four days. Have a day off and relax. Yeah, yeah. Well, I sort of did on Saturday, but it was all good. Can I ask you a question? You can go. I opened a question. Who do you think is closer to a flag, Freeman and a little west coast? Freeman are right now, but they've got a wind one. Yeah. They were pretty good. Did what they had to do and it wasn't, first half wasn't an outstanding game of footy to watch, but that happens when you're playing a side that's not going as well like Richmond. But then it just snuck out to nine goals, nine goals and it was, they did exactly what they had to do and put score on the board and if I am not the head and cheerleader of the Josh Tracy Fan Club, then a lot of compete with who is. His time on man crashing all over me is just, and I said it two weeks ago. Hasn't he turned around? Hasn't he just been in two years and one year, his progression has been quite remarkable? And you know, I don't generally read comments and that sort of stuff, but let me just say to a couple of people, they did set flogs on Twitter, X. We said two and a half years, almost two years ago, had to work harder, didn't get what he has to do to play footy to make AFL standards and we came from, you know, I don't give a toss where he was spoke to a lot of people and one of them who had a really big say on whether he got to play or not and that was his opinion of him, we spoke to Josh Tracy, that was his own opinion of himself and hasn't he done the work and now he's just a joy to watch, does everything? Does absolutely everything that, you know, you want us now forward to do and I'm telling you, I know there's now started comparing to Pav but last week we would compare him to Rewalt. It might have been two weeks ago, he's in Nick Rewalt work rate areas, he's outstanding to watch. He had made no secret of our love for him on Dockers Nation, they know that he's an absolute treat to watch. Yeah, my mum loved you cool, loved Jimmy's cool as well. I was around there yesterday catching up with him and she said absolutely loved him. In fact, you know who words were, her exact words? Absolutely loves you on the footy, doesn't love you so much on the breakfast show. That's because I keep her favourites, I'm honest. Yes, well, don't know about the favourite. Clearly favourite. Well, with all the stuff you do for them, unless you're lying to me, you have to be their favourite. Don't do that much. Right, I'm the only one in WA so I'm going to do more. That has to be a balancing factor, I would have thought. Thirteen, twelve, fifty-five, now after seven, thirty, we are going to rank the coaches. We love a good list and we love a good ranking. This is a tough one, this one. So we are ranking all the coaches, one out of ten, not just for this year but for their entire tenure at the footy club. For instance, we're comparing Damian Harwick's seventeen game tenure to that of Simpson and or Craig McCray, so out of ten. Yeah, it's not easy and some, you would have, well, that's a problem because some of their tenure has may have eroded some of their really good stuff. Correct, and some of them are Justin Longmure, who's now enjoying the fruits of his labour, where does that place him, but he's overall tenure. Yeah. It's the fans, West Coast fans, after seven, thirty, if you want to give them out of ten, and it's not just about the now, so it's a little bit like the power rankings. It's not just about the now and where your team sits now, it's the overall of your footy club. Yeah. We're here to talk about West Coast because I'd just listen to that grab just then from Simmo and the first thing that popped in my head was when you start talking about your own coaching mortality, it means that you're thinking about it too, and it's sort of text here, I've watched all of Adam Simpson's press conferences, and this is the first one that I agree so much with, I feel that his demeanor represents defeat. He's done club, and he's doing to me now, I'm not sure it's now, is the time, but that sounded to me. And you look back at all press conferences of coaches who have been let go, when they have to start answering those questions week after week after week, and they start talking like that, and actually, I don't think it sounds good, I don't think it sounds great at all. Now, it's all well and good to get up and say, and he's in a tough position because he's not going to win or lose that whatever he says is going to be scrutinized with an inch of his life, but you want to coach saying, no, no, no, we've got a plan and we're sticking this plan, this plan will work for our club, it will work for our club, it's going through a tough time, but everyone's on board, and we are going to get our way through this through hard work, and this and this and this, but when you start having to answer questions about your own coaching mortality in his words, it just doesn't sound great. So 1255-048-7736-7736, lots of text coming through, a lot of text. We'll get through as many as we possibly can, they're really streaming through as we speak right now. Someone's texting in saying, "Any news on when Simpson's departure press conference is, I'm hearing 10 o'clock western time, Tom from Palmyra, Goss will admit that West Coast list is rubbish, not as good as you think, will I admit?" Cheers and time. I can answer it, I don't think it's rubbish, I think it's a rubbish list, and that's the problem. I don't think it's great list, I don't think it's great, and it's going to take some time, and again, well, you know what, and some heats coming on those younger players now that are in their second year, and third year, you know, I threw Jimby and Jess there under the bus a bit, last one, I didn't throw him under the bus, I was honest about their appraisal, but maybe they're not dissimilar to a Josh Tracy. His first two years in the system were nowhere near it, were they? And now he's sort of tweaked, he's got a bit older and a bit more experience, and he's now working his backstop off, this is going to happen, some players, you know, the old popcorn kernel saying that I really liked, you know, stop comparing your kids to other kids, they all go into the pan at the same time, they've got the same heat, but all the kernels pop at different times, so, you know, you can't get rid of 20 players. Yeah, we don't need to back over it, too, but if you were listening last week, Tom, in particular, we did go over a lot of the youngsters and we put some heat on some of the kids as to why they weren't getting games, so if you want to go back to our podcast catch up and you'll hear that conversation last week, we can't just keep- It needs to happen, though, it needs to happen, like, but the problem is, I don't look at West Coast stats and that on the weekend and, you know, my thoughts on all stats, but best players and that sort of jazz, color, you've got plenty, is he a bona fide AFL player? No, um, Merrick- I think Merrick's good. I think he's okay, he's going to be okay, he's going to find us, but he's going to find a spot. He's raw, mate. That's my next issue. Where does he play now? Well, they've got to find a spot and let him play. True. Got a bit of it again. Yeah. So my winners and losers are coming up, and one of mine comes out of the waffle. Right. I don't want to talk about it just yet, so we'll get to that in a brief moment. There was a grab last week, and I don't know if Chris will be able to search it. At the press conference, Adam Simpson makes a conversation about, when asked about the disgruntled players on his list, and he said, "Oh, you've always got 20 because it's 20 not getting a game." That's absolutely right. And there's another part which I was blown away, and I spoke to a couple of Melbourne journalists who said, "Why wasn't this made more of?" And I think, "Well, there's some journalists who go to press conferences and don't listen to answers." I think, apart from Mark Duffield, I think there's a fair bit that goes on in WA. But I will say this, there was one comment that he made that he said, "There'll be 10 blokes that will be listed at the end of the year," and I went, "Ah, okay. Now, all of a sudden, it got real." Who said that? Adam Simpson said it in his press conference, and it wasn't made... Well, he said that won't be on the list. Correct. And that's a lot... Carl. And he might not be coaching next year as well. Well, isn't that done already? Why isn't that being done already? Well, what are you going to get back on the list? You've got to be mindful of what you can get back. You can't just go through with the broom and go, "Okay, we're going right back to grounds here." So, here's the draft. We're going to get 10 from this draft. But maybe they're looking at that draft and saying, "It's not that deep or it's not that good. It's not the players that we need to get." They've made mistakes. We get all that. He said 10. Yeah, he said 10. He said 10, I heard. He said 10. And I'm surprised. So, Chris will be searching for that. All right. All right. Let's get through to find someone to take the place. It's like the coach. They're saying, "Simmo must go." Well, who are they putting in? Now, the Eagles have never ever sacked a coach mid-season. They've always been at the end of the season when they've let coaches go. It's always been never done a interim coach, have they? Oh, and I thought so. No. I don't think... John Todd, Mick Mick Maori. I don't think... I don't think they're going to go through ... I don't think ... a lot of speculation is going to be today. It's going to be two weeks. I've got a text last week from someone who said he won't be there in three weeks. It might be the end of the year. Who replaces him now? Well, they've got Matthew Knight. He's got Jarred Schofield. They're not going to get someone from outside. Yeah. Jarred Schofield or Matthew Knight. And this is a question I'm asking without knowing the answer myself. But Dave, if there's three jobs available in Melbourne each year, either one of those are getting them. No, they wouldn't get to the first interview stage. So there you go. So yeah, it's all a well and good saying someone has to go, but you've got to bring someone in. Don't tell me Dean Cox, because Cox is only in contract and he's staying at Sydney at the moment, until they can get... It's like to someone who's very close to Dean Cox, like as close as you're going to get to Dean Cox, and said no intention of coming back to Perth. None. Not even on his radar, because there is a plan, there is a plan, just think, "How long's John Longway got? He's got as long as he likes." And he does, because Andrew Prudham is a massive fan, and so they should be. So that should be. It is a fantastic coach. What happens if they win one this year? I've got him in a certainly good spot. How long? What happens if they win and Longway says, "You know what?" Well, you know what it is, it's like the sports reporter is waiting for the news reader to leave, and I'm just like, "Hey, mate, mate, mate, mate, mate." Nothing to do with you. It's like the Tony Jones went for Pete each, and it just bugger off, so I'm going to have the main game, please. Over there in Melbourne. Just wait another week, just wait another year, another year, another year. And that's basically the information that we've had most of the time is that Cox, he has an agreement in place of verbal, saying that when horse is done, it's his call when he's done, you'll probably be the number one man. I guess he would know whether he has or not. Don Pike. Don Pike would know that absolute situation is going on over there. Good call. There's a few people that said to me, Pike is probably reticent to employ doing Cox because they coached together. Of course, as part of the assistant group, and Pike, he probably still thinks he could be coaching. Oh, wow. Cool. Wow. Let's break new ground and have, you know, there's been Captain Coach. Give you a message on Pike and then the coach. The CEO coach, wouldn't a footy department get some funding and, hey, I'm telling you now. Well, Pike, he's got a fairly decent coaching record, this is quietly, but do it, do it. CEO coach, you'd have to have a pretty good two IC. He doesn't have to be the CEO. He doesn't need to sleep. He doesn't need the money either. He doesn't have to be the CEO. So, all right, question without notice. Is Don Pike a candidate to coach West Coast? It's not unrealistic, Scott. I've had him since the least. It is. Unless Don Pike comes out and says, "I'm not going to put my hand up." If Don Pike doesn't slide into that position as CEO replacing Trevor Newspert, I am going to tell you now his name would be talked about at the top of the list. Don't, don't, don't, don't. Interesting. Wow. Wouldn't that be a, wouldn't that be a backroom shady deal going on? They're on their pikey coach. What would suggest to you right now, or to any of our listeners, that Don Pike is not a candidate? I'm, I'm just a CEO. So, what? I agree. If Don Pike was still a senior assistant at Sydney, and they're going through this, people would be calling for Don Pike right now. 100%. If Don Pike was sitting in a Sydney Swans coaches box, and West Coast were looking to find a replacement, Don Pike's name would be at the forefront of the chances. Get out of that, everyone. Don Pike in the mix. Until Don Pike blasted off, he wouldn't scuff it off from here. He gets a better replacement if they want to make a change, which we think they will at the end of the year. It's got Grant Thomas, Malcolm Blight sort of backroom, sort of shady stuff. That's right. How are they? Oh, he's a good coach. Just thrown it out there. Well, at the moment, it's the CEO of one of the worst teams in the competition, so he's not doing a great job in that role. He might have got a big coach, only joking Don. He won't be listening. He won't be listening. Lisa's in the Allen Brook. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning, Scottie. Will it be more of a paycheck for Don Pike if he becomes a coach? No, you get less. Less. Yeah. Why would he take it? Because he doesn't need the money. I've got plenty. Gosh, you were just saying about Dean Cox saying that he would not come back to Perth. No, no. I never said that. Never said that, Lisa. I said he has got an agreement at Sydney and he has an intimate, certainly hasn't intimated that it's the Berlin end all coming back to WA. He doesn't. He's not allowed to come in. He's quite happy in Sydney. Okay. Well, I heard him on air when Sydney were last here playing and he was asked the question. Would he be interested in coaching the Eagles? And his words were, "If the opportunity arose, I would love to come back and coach my old team." That was his exact words. So he's got it in the back of his mind. I don't know whether he'll come back or not, but also two guys. I just want to know, like, Sima's getting thrown at him, so the players, where's Matthew Knight? Where's Jared Schofield? Where's Scoey? Why aren't they getting...not Scoey, but he...what's his name? Shoey. Like, where are they? Why aren't they being questioned? Why aren't they coming out and fronting up to the media or whatever? And having their say, you can see that these guys have been throwing over the bus all the time. And guys, have you heard he had guppies, please? Yeah, trying to get an update on a guv there was, say, he did go to hospital with ribs and wasn't sure whether he flew back with the team or get some confirmation on them. We're going to get David Swartz on to see what his thoughts on guv and going to hospital for ribs and not getting up at the end of the day. I think, at least his point is, where are the assistant coaches and where's their support? Well, one, you don't generally ask for an assistant coach to come on air. And two, Simo is not a bloke that you...all you need to do is watch him play football. He's not a bloke that would say, "Boys, I think, over to you. You're going to fin me and you bloke take some of the rap this time." That's not Simo's way. He fronts up. You can tell he's frustrated by it all. He's frustrated by the way they're playing. He's frustrated by, I guess, the questions on his career and his life, but at all, he's part and parcel of coaching. But he's not going to throw below him out there to cop the wrath. Tony, Vic Park, Scotty and Goss, in all the Eagles' games I've watched this season, there seems to be a real lack of speed. They keep getting blown off the park. What do you think? I agree. I shouldn't do this, but it was one incident. The game was gone, but it was one incident that I looked at and thought, "Now, we talk about the lack of pressure from inside their forward 50." So the transition, they got three goals from back 50 all the way, Melbourne, the lack of forward 50 pressure, and that goes to Waterman. It goes to Oscar Allen's. Much as we talk about how good they are, their lack of pressure to allow the ball out so easy, and then it goes over the top of the midfield, and then the back line's under enormous pressure. Regardless of that, there was an incident on the far win yesterday that I had watched, and I'm only watching TV. And it involved Tyler Brockman, and he was out number two-on-one, but he went to ground, and so did Ed Langdon. I think Ed Langdon might have been the Melbourne player, and I think Langdon bounced up, got the ball, ran the ball down with the assistance with two or three other Melbourne players, and I looked at the wide shot, and I looked at them the tight shot, and I could not see Tyler Brockman for love nor money. Who's won the fastest on the list? Well, I'm trying to work out what is he in the team for? And this is not a personal front. I know he's had some battles, but that's all been dealt with. Okay, and crashed his car. Whoopi do. He crashed his car, and they've looked after him. He went back to the waffle, played some okay games, got launched back into the team. But if that's the standard being set by a midfielder who and forward-line pressure player, and I'm sorry I've singled out one, he's not alone, Campbell chess is kicking is way off the mark. He's a turnover king at West Coast, and Ruben, Jimmy's former, has completely fallen off the planet. He didn't lay attack, or he's not, don't think. I was staying corrected on that. No, he did not. And that's what he's in the team for, to be a robust, hardcore tackling midfielder. Big body. Big body midfielder. Ruben, Jimmy's big body midfielder. Let me just go through this, and this is fairly damning. This is the tackle count. And Waterman, Rothem, McGovern, Jimby, Barris, none. Williams, both Williams, Jack and Bailey, Duggan, Cole, Brockman, Allen, one. Witherdon, Ryan, Hoff, Darling, two. They don't have their hands on the footy, so where's that? And that is the intent. That is the pressure. That is the intensity that people are dying to see, and that you need to have in your side if you're going to get your way out of it. The easiest thing to do is compare him to Hawthorne, who did more of a less cull than anyone I've seen for a long, long time. They're miles ahead. They're two years ahead at the moment. 13-12-55-0-4877-36736. Let's go to a break and come back. We've got so much of the digest, Hamish Frazier after seven, a coaching rankings after 7-30. We've still got winners and losers. I know, the amount of calls and text and we've been receiving, it is amazing to see. So thank you. We might just shift a few things around. We'll speak to our producers to make this work. We go to the break. This was the grab, and thank you, Chris, for getting this. This was the grab Adam Simpson set on Friday and his coaches press conference. In regards to does he still have the support of the players? This, for me, is the headline out of that. Forget about Adam Simpson's coaching job. We know probably where that's going to end up, but have a listen to this. We've got 15 to 20 players that don't get a game every week. We've got probably 10 players who will be off the list end of the year. So there's always people that are disgruntled. It's just part of the job. So we can't apologize for trying to get better, but now I think I've still got the prize. Birthdays, events, and some of the great moments in history. It's on this day. Monday ♪ - Hey, can I just say, I think a good coach needs, this is just proof that he needs good people around him and underneath him. Look, in 2021, Geelong Cleared the Decks, new ideas come in, new coaches come in, we won the flag. Port Adelaide had really good assists in coaches, and then a few of them left and any, I think, is the eight that year. So I think Simo might be the blame for a bit with the guys he's brought in underneath him, 'cause he brought in night to you, I think, got the top from Geelong, and I just think maybe it has a work for him, and if I was Simo, take the third hungry jacks to her as a play out, and sit back on the couch and enjoy the football. - Yeah, I don't think he's so worried. I mean, I think he wants to continue on. I think he made that quite clear. He wants to continue on and continue what he described as, you know, this is the rebuild, the rebuild is real. Good on you, Scotty. Appreciate it. Some changes in the coaching. - Hey, it's a good point. Scotty makes, too. Like, that's the thing. Everyone says, I need new voices now. They need a new voice. I need new messages. That doesn't necessarily mean the senior coach has to go. - No, but Don Pike, certainly. The more I thought about that. - Some people would easily laugh that off, but it's not that crazy. - Don Pike's coaching record is 61% winning - Yeah. - Mm. - He's four years. He's got a finals record of five finals. He's three and two. Yes, he lost a grand final. Yeah. - And his record is good enough to hold its own. And he was coaching in 2019. - And that's the thing. You look at the sort of person Don Pike is. He's hard, but he's fair. He's likeable. There's no doubt about that. And all his teammates loved him and people that deal with Don Pike. I think Pike, he's a great bloke. But he's got that hardness about him as well, but could possibly bring a new edge to it. And it's not a ludicrous comment. - Better coaching win loss record. Percentage win loss record. Then the current coach is Hinckley, Goodwin, Fagan, Lyon, Kingsley, Clarkson, Beverage, Hardwick, Long U.S., Scott, Simpson. - What? - Mitchell, Nix. He has a better win. - But all of them. - He's got a better winning record than all of those coaches. - They're already coachful for you? - Four years. And was assisting coach up to last year. - At Sydney. - At Sydney. So it's not like he's been long out of the game. - The only thing that hurt him. - Was the camp. - Was the camp where he sort of probably didn't pay enough attention to that one. Just sort of let that one roll on for a bit too long. - Anyway. - There you go. So look, the more that we're trying to convince ourselves that maybe Don Pike should... We're not saying don't. Just so we're just 100% fit. We're not saying Don Pike's going to get the job. - No, no. - But he doesn't really seek to suggest that if they have to make a change as a football club, where the board wouldn't go to Don Pike and say, "Well, you're only six months out of the game and six months in this job." You probably still got liniment on your hands. And you're probably sniffing a bit of liniment as the CEO of the football club. Are you completely out of realms of being able to coach an AFL team? Because if he wasn't in the role as CEO and he was still at Sydney, his name would be talked about ad nauseam. - Absolutely. Absolutely would be. And you know what? When you're a football coach, whether it's been four years or it's been for ten years, you still look at the game as a football coach. So he's still watching games of footy now, not standing there waving pom-poms. He's watching going. What should they do here? You know, he's looking at it as a coach. We're not out of touch with it. - 60.8% winning percentage record, Don Pike. - Not bad. - I repeat. - Only four years though, so we got to keep that in mind. I know Chris Scott's been coaching with 12, Hinckley 12. - I repeat. - See my 11? - Craig McCray, Chris Scott, John Longmire have better win-loss records. - Fly has been in it three years. John Longmire, that's massive. - Don Pike's coaching record is better than Hinckley, Goodwin, Fagan, Lyon. Kingsley, Clarkson, Beveridge, Hardwick, Longmire, Scott, Simpson and Vos and Mitchell and Nix. - Just park it then. - Tom says maybe Don Pike should be in from coach then as of this week. She said it'd be a big call to make a CEO, say the coach and say, "I'll do it. I'm doing it. I'm doing it. Hammer ratio joins us this time every Monday. Hammer, appreciate your time this morning. What's left in the tank for Adam Simpson. Good morning. - Oh, good morning. It's a tough question. I think that's whatever I'm asking. Look, I think they were more competitive, but geez, they were just, it's still a no-and-go loss. I don't know how much is, I don't know how much that tank's got. Might have some cracks. Might have some leaks. They've got some duct tape sticking over it. But look, it's, they've been through worse. They have certainly been through worse at that fully club over the last three years. But it's, it feels a bit different this time, I think, doesn't it? - It certainly does. You can't give up seven first quarter goals. And then after that, Scotty, after that, we've spoken about this ad nauseam this morning, they were okay. They were okay. But there's nothing clinical what they do. It is almost forced footy. There's nothing smooth about what they do. - Nothing exciting about it. And there's nothing that suggests that they're on the way up and they're on their improve and they're going to get out of this mess that they're in. And it's not, and I did something strange hammer on the weekend. I jumped on a post and I read the comments. I don't normally read the two here. I was, I'm glad I'm not semi because it was just vitriol. And they've had enough for a lot of the supporters. And that's a very small cross section of supporters. But they're, they're after him now and a lot of the equal supporters. Well, the loud ones on socials, they've just at the end of their tether. - Yeah. I mean, I feel for him because I look at that list and think there's probably five guys playing on the weekend that will be there in five years. And, you know, if you're a coach of a football club and that's the situation on ground with the list of players, you've got it. It's nearly impossible. I mean, the nature of football is that head coaches are often the ones that, you know, that have to make the change. But it's, you know, for Harley Reid, Jake Waterman, potentially Oscar Allen, if his body holds up, you know, Brady Hoff. You're sort of clutching its drawers to get much further past that, that you can sort of guarantee will be on a listing file. It will be on their listing file for your surgery. It just makes it really hard. I mean, you feel for him. I think it's been, you know, he's had a great tenure at West Coast. And whether or not it comes up now or, you know, they leave it to the end of the year. He's, um, the fans are, I feel like the fans are in a different position. The thought process is different now for the footy club than it was, you know, in the last couple of years where they've been really struggling. And it's got to do with the fact that they're listed. They've got players available now and they're still not performing. You know, it's, um, it is their only, it only is their second game. They've all played in, you know, in unison together. But it's, it does feel different. And you feel for it, but, you know, it's just not your football. Coming up after 7.30, Hammer, we're going to, Scotty and I have given ourselves a task of rating the coaches out of 10 for their entire tenure at their footy club. Whether it be, damn it, hard work in 17 games at Gold Coast or whether it be Ken Inkley, 10 years or Adam Simpson, 10 years, whatever it may be, out of 10 for their work. It's tough. It is really tough because you're not really comparing, you're not comparing. Yeah. So just tell us, Hammer, give Adam Simpson a mark out of 10. Question about notice for you, but out of 10 for his tenure at the football club. Well, yeah, it's tough. So we started when the women's first year, 2014 was his 50 year for you. Sorry, it was his first year. They made a grand final the year after. Oh, look, the last three years would have certainly dropped the rating. But I still think it's probably a 7.5, maybe an 8 out of 10. Wow. You're an off-premise. Really? You want a premiership for the football club? Yeah, well, I'll talk to throw it. You got to a grand final in your second year. You want a premiership in your fourth, fifth year. You know, finals every year for pretty much six years straight. And then you've dropped off a cliff. So you couldn't have, you couldn't, I couldn't fault him until 2020. Yeah, it's a good point. And then, you know, you can't, even 2021, they would sort of not really that great. But they still made finals in '21. I think that's still one of my finals in '21. No, no, they didn't. No, no, that was, that was. 20, that might be 20. 20, 20. 20 for six years. No, good point. They've dropped off a cliff. The cliff's been pretty fatal for him. So his winning percentage in 2022 was nine and a half. He had 13% winning there. He's less than eight on this year. But before that, you're right. He was in the high 70s and mid 70s for a long time and a high 60s. It still has a winning record, believe it or not. It has a winning record. Yeah. It's getting tight. Yeah. Well, I think a lot of, if you were to rate the top tag, you were to rate all the coaches at the moment. You're here. There's a sour taste in your mouth over the last couple of years, for sure. But, yeah, I think he couldn't fault him for the first six years of his tenure at West Coast. And that's probably what gave him the last couple of years of longevity because, you know, you're allowed a winner of Storm when you've been a very good coach for a long time. So I don't know how much he can weather the remaining of the remainder of the season. But he's certainly a very good coach in his early days at West Coast. And the question would be, who's going to replace him? That's the question. That's the question. That's the other thing, you don't like a list where it comes in for a good coach. They've got to get a definitive answer out of the Cox camp, don't they? West Coast Poly complete tank solutions, tanks for agriculture, residential and industry. West Coast Poly.com.au. Freo. Wow. Josh Tracy. Wow. Two years ago, Josh Tracy had a lot of work to do. And I've been lambasted apparently. I'm not that I've... I've got smack too. Yeah, not that I've engaged too much. In fact, I've been not engaged at all with the socials. But I will say this, that a lot of people are going back over two years. When we questioned Josh Tracy, that if he didn't lift, he might be out in the door. Well, he's had an outstanding pre-season. And everyone you speak to inside the Fremantle camp say, this is the real Josh Tracy. We were hoping to see a little bit earlier, but gee, stepped up and he has really become the key forward. And many believe the best since Pavlage. Wow. Yeah. He's flying. And to be asked off, people would have a go at you for what you said to your dog to the dentist four years ago. But he's just a big tall frame who attacks the footy. He's got... I mean, he's not... There's not many old-school sort of forwards left. I don't think in the comp, but he just runs straight lines at the ball. Doesn't matter who's in front of him. He crashes packs. He can kick. The thing about him that I really love watching the weekend, those little kick leads where he's just sort of facing the other way, points a finger out the back, turns around. And because he can kick the ball, 55 meters, he can do that anywhere inside the arc. And it's dangerous. And he just looked excellent. And he's a pillar for them. I've sort of said a lot the start of this year that they're the style of ball movement that they have when the pressure comes on. And they're trying to handle, handle, handle that sort of breaks down. And now they've got him as an available target when that happens. You can change your style of ball movement and just kick it, kick it, a tracy up the line and set up off that. And it's going to be massive. And yes, he's young. And there's a lot of pressure on him to sort of continue the form that he's in. But he was excellent on the weekend. Mate, there was man love in the country boxer and we were calling it. I'm unabashed fan of his now. And I said, well, we're in a week ago or two weeks ago. I know he's being compared to Pav now. But I reckon he's working, he's in re-walt, Nick re-walt work rate areas right now. He's doing absolutely everything. He's leading and his coverage of the ground is enormous. But then he loves hitting blokes. He loves tackling. His ground works good. And as you said there, the understanding is now got with his midfield of being able to just have this relationship with him where they know where he's going to go and he knows where he needs to be. And they'll find him. That relationship now has gone to a new level because he is the number one man there. Yeah, exactly. The first, I think the first market he took on the game was a lead-out mark. He took at the sort of back 50 on the junction. He's running everywhere. And he had Jacob Bight for a little bit of the game. And I was watching it. And Bight wasn't dropping off him. He was just getting outworked and had 25 meters on lead-up marks on the wing. And it was, you know, for a play like that, who he's won a big K target. You're expecting him to just hold back. But he's getting up and he's getting back the ground. He's covering it really, really well. But he's, he just looks for the physicality. I mean, when Sean Darcy went down, he was happy to go in the rock because it's just, oh, here it is. He's another bike that I just get to smash into. And he's gained sort of breeds off that physicality. And he takes himself to another level when things are getting rough and tough. And I remember the Gold Coast game when he bought over Sam Collins. And he just looks to engage and then clash through packs. And it almost feels like he goes to a, you know, takes his game up a level every now and again when he gets that contact and he feels it. And I think that's what Freya were crying out for because their best football is, you know, untouched, silky through the middle of the ground. But now that they can rely on a bike who is just happy to take it to that crashing bash and make it a bit of a dogfight, he's, he's something that they haven't had in a while. And it's, it's going to be massive for them in the back after the year. They're a big winner on the weekend. And with Carlton losing and Sydney losing, all of a sudden, Fremont is now lying off a top two spot, which is quite remarkable. But well done to them. They're very close to a premise. You're probably a little closer than West Coast. Now, Emma, what's left in the tank with the Goldco sons? This was Damien Hardwick post-match. I'm angry to be fair. And there's a footy club. We've got to grow the **** up to be perfectly honest, excuse the language. But, you know, we've been in this situation too many times. So it's up to me and the Magic Committee to sit there and get her boys going. Loved it, loved it, loved it. Oh, I loved it, I loved it. I mean, there's a coach that has had a lot of experience and has had a lot of success. And, you know, he got the job there based on his, his resume. And he's gone over and they've just, I don't know what it is. It has to, it's a mental thing, obviously, because you can't be, you side doesn't change. You've still got the same list playing. But, yeah, for the honesty of the coach, you're going to be tough. You're going to be a tough week to be the gold coast list because you are going to get belted on the track by the, by the sounds of that. But, look, I don't think there is anything left in the tank for them this year. They can't, they're not going to make finals. They're not going to fire a shot. They just have to win again, away from home. They are fortunate that they've got West Coast in a couple of weeks at office and they're a chance. But, yeah, they're, what's left in the tank for them is a big whack between the eye, between the eye this week from their coach and then, you know, they've just got to find a way to get over it. It's a monkey off, it's a monkey on the back that is just going to continue to grow and grow and grow. And you just would hate to see them get to the end of this year and not win one away from home because that'll kill them over the off season. And it'll set them up poorly for next year. So they've got to, if that monkey off the back needs to get going this year. And I think they'll be going off the West Coast down and throwing everything at it. But it's, yeah, I loved hearing that from Novik. I thought it was someone that had gone in the old aisle. I had it at some point because I was, yeah, following the interview. But watching it back, it was powerful. And I think the boys are in for a big week. Yeah, I agree. You know, I reckon you'll get fined for it. But there's not one person here that doesn't think that's okay. No worries. You're not supposed to say about that. Are they live? Yeah. Are they live? Yeah, I'm pretty sure they are. I'm pretty sure they are. But either way, either way, no one I know is offended by it or horrified by it or shocked by it or anything, stuff like that. But have you been in the game a long, long time? And you've seen the difference in players now between what they can handle 10 years ago to what they can handle now as far as direct feedback goes. But it'd be fair to say that if your team needs to grow up, being told that you need to grow up is possibly the best thing you can absolutely hear. And we'll see what they made off now whether they shook it up or whether they respond. Definitely. I think looking at the way that he's attacked the first, you know, 10 rounds or whatever it has been at the Gold Coast, he looks like he's tried to sort of be a nicer new school coach, you know, given the boys a bit of freedom. And don't worry about it. It's okay. We'll get the next week. And I think for some young players, that works. And for some young groups, that works. But it comes to a point where you have to sort of, there's a line in the sound. You have to, you know, click a switch. And I think listening to that and, you know, putting myself in the players point of view, you sort of, you can get away with making excuses for yourself and it gets so far into the year that it's like, oh, we are the best team ever at home. And then we are a completely different side away from mine, but there's reasons. It might be the umpires were bad to us this game or something happened on the flight that sort of, you know, it was four hours, we got the light or something. I think you can start to make excuses for yourself along the way. And for a coach to say that, you've stripped off all those excuses. It's just lied there and said, it's not anything else but us. And I think the players and the leadership group and the group as a whole will be listening to that and be thinking, wow, it's, you know, he's made it pretty clear that we're not, we're not there yet. And we've got a long way to go. And that's, for the play, it just, it's a massive reality check. I've read away from the clouds and back to the now. And it's, you know, it'll be a wake up call that a lot of them need. And yeah, I think all those excuses that you can potentially be subconsciously making or you can be sideways moaning about this or it is. Well, I wanted to take it on the flight and they only had the fish or something like that. It's little things, but the coach dropping the F bomb and saying, we need to grow up, strip all of that away. And it's like, you know, it's on us and we've got to do something about it. So I think it was awesome. And I think you'll see a response next time they go away. Absolutely. Well spoken. Last week, you and I both had four premiership contenders as Sydney, Carlton, Collingwood and Fremen. We both had the same four. Where do you see it now? Because I've taken the pies out of it. Yeah. Well, I, I don't, I didn't think that SNM were good. And I thought that Collingwood were good. I think I've dropped Collingwood out. I would have to drop Collingwood out and put JWS in based on the performance of the weekend. But I also think that SNM are, they've gone up a few notches in my book because, I mean, I look at their list and they've got good players, but I didn't realize how good luck. Durham's a star. Collingwood's a pretty good player. McGraw is gone. And then McGraw's number one, he's playing like it. They've got good. We've got really good players. And Zach Merritt, I think, is probably the best captain of the year. Hemorpaddy Crips, and I, yeah, I just can't, you can't really fault them. And they're winning. And that's the thing about the ladder. The ladder doesn't lie at this point of the year. And yes, that Collingwood was the only top eight team there. But they've, they're just winning games. So, you know, I don't think they're in the contention for a premiership. I think if they got to the, they got there at the end of the year, Sydney had beat them. But they've gone up, but yeah, Collingwood dropped out. I still think Carlton is there. Sydney have had a couple of weeks, but they're still the best team. They're called three out of really solidified that position to me. And yeah, I think JWS were excellent. And the way that they were able to bounce back, it was a 75 point swing. Now, we're not 39 points down to 35 points up in about a quarter and a half of football. So you can't be doing that against the Carlton and not be in the contention, I don't think. Agree. And Paul Hayserby is looking like a genius all of a sudden because he did say. He would have gone. I didn't even say it again. I really wanted to say it again because that's what drove them last time. But no, they're out of the eight and JWS slip in like that. It's amazing this season. This season is phenomenally exciting because that's crazy. That's crazy. They've had a losing streak and everyone's got their shot to bits. And one great win on the weekend. Hammers all over him. They've won one game in about six in these all over him and they've plotted into the eight. It's a great season of footy. Apart from the odd anomaly where St Kilda kicked half decent scores, I think he gains Brisbane and North Melbourne. They haven't cracked 100. Albeit they didn't crack 100 against Sydney. It doesn't matter. But they look like they play with some freedom. Should that be a little bit of a blueprint to Ross Lyon? Was he so stubborn that he'll go back to his miserly ways? I don't like it. I don't like it. It's too many scores. I don't like scoring. I think he'll double down on time to stop the opposition from scoring so much. But, oh, I mean, looking at them, the games that I remember watching from them, that looked pretty good. The game against Brisbane when they were so far gone that it was just Brad Hill just thought "I'm just going to do everything I can to run and play on." And that looked really good. And then yesterday they had Sydney who had a spell at half time where they just went "I'll keep 5 in a row and I'll have 25 points up." They come from behind attitude of "I'm going to do play on instinct, play with a bit of freedom." There's no point trying to restrict their score because we need to score. That's when they look good. That's when their players decide to start flowing. And they've got exciting players if you actually look at their talent on the park. But when they try to play that defensive strand of football and stop their team from scoring, it becomes a bit of a slog and that's what Ross Lyon known for. But, yeah, when they're back stopping into the wall, they can really pin years back and go for it. And I think that's got to be the blueprint going forward. You'd like to be able to do that from a nil or start instead of the third or five goal head start. But I think that looked really good and they obviously were able to damage and beat the best team in the comp when they were when they put that position. But, yeah, the fans would have enjoyed it. I don't think they would have made it there, but that's the look that they want. And that's the look that everyone sort of expects now going forward. But I don't get it. I think it'll be, I think, Ross will double down. But, yeah, geez, it looked exciting. Yeah, nine games this year, St. Kilda have been involved in with ten points or less win all those. And that's just another one of them all. And Sydney kicking after half time, three goals, eleven. Didn't help them and said Kilda came out and kicked nine goals too, which is good kicking his good football. I say, Haney, Hammer, weak. Oh, look, it didn't look great. It certainly looked like he punched a black in the head. That thing, that having been said though, the tribunal has been all over the shop this year. And Jesse Hogan punched a guy in the face in the goal square, got off. How you going, do you feel about Sam Walsh's head four feet under the turf and he got off? And Charlie Cameron did the same thing and got off. So there's been a couple of instances where guys have got off. He shouldn't get off. He punched someone in the face. But he will be in brown line mental contention. The AFL would just put the guy in the game. And he's a really good boy. He's a really good boy. He's a really good boy. He's the poster boy. So I would be willing to put anything on the fact that he gets off because of those factors, which is ridiculous. And it's just, it's the way that this great game is out at the moment, that the AFL will say, okay, he's the poster boys Sydney. He's going to be up there in a brown line and we need them to be good to go at the game. So no, you're not getting away, which is ridiculous, but it'll happen. Seven rounds left. Let's get some tips thanks to West Coast Polycomplete Tank Solutions. So we've had a lot left in the tank who's got left in the tank and looks like West Coast. Empty and Collingwood likewise, but Freeo and GWS might be the ones who have got some filling to do. And they could be doing that in the next seven weeks. The tips are like this. At one stage, you had zero out of five just to remind you. Oh, it's horrible on the way. Yeah, I was horrible. I know the rabbit in. We finished OK, Freeo, Melbourne, Brisbane. So we all had a combination of, we all, yourself, Scotty, Haze and myself all had blues, Freeo, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane. So we all got three out of five, but it was the front half of the selection panel where I got two, Scotty got one, Haze got two, and you got none. Oh, you're a repeat. You got none. What does that need for you? I can hear you. So at the moment, you're last on 80, Scotty's on 83, Haze is on 91, and he's really hanging around like a bad smell. He's tagging, and I'm on 93. This is Hammer. This is where, yeah, Ross Lyon, I'm from two girls back, and now what's the same pin and back and go back. Oh, yeah, all right. Here we go. Hammer in this, in this day and age, mate. You're fourth, I'm third. Yeah, everyone gets a ribbon. Haze is second, and Goss is first. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter, winning. It's not about winning. No one keeps the score. Yes, they do. Friday, Collingwood host, Jollong MCG. Oh, Jollong are pretty good guys. I don't know what's on the way. Really, really good. Really good. All of a sudden, they're, you know, they're sort of back-firing shots. Collingwood average, this is a hard one to do Monday morning, but you have to go off based on how it goes. Oh, I'm going to go Jollong. I think Collingwood is shot. All righty. Hawthorne in Tassie, host Fremantle. Fremantle are the real deal, and I know the Hawkes are flying, and it's hard to beat them down there, but Hawthorne will not have what it takes to match against the Fremantle Buckers, and Freya will win by four-plus goals. Sydney host North Melbourne SCG. Sydney will win by a hundred points. They're back. Exactly. They'll have a couple of oil losses. A hundred points. North are good. They'll be fine, but, yeah, they'll get some max. I love Monday dipping. Yeah, it's a number three game, losing three. We should actually do it. That should be our motto. Western Bulldogs host Carlton. Oh, gee, this is not the greatest after the weekend. The Bulldogs looked very good leading into the game. I tipped them, which was disappointing because I was wrong. Me too. Yeah, they just didn't prove to me that they've got what it takes. If you can't beat Port Adelaide, how are you going to beat Carlton? Carlton win this game, and they bounce back, and all will be right. That ended a lot of trouble. Adelaide. Yeah, all right, Carlton. Adelaide weren't too bad against Brisbane. Now they go home, and they host St Kilda. 15th plays 14th. Safety just beat Sydney. Adelaide at home are a leg up, so you've got to give them that. They won't have to. They won't have to. Yeah, I know. They were competitive against Brisbane without being great. Ross Lyon will probably try and be defensive. This is a flip of a coin. I don't have one. I'm not going to beat Sydney in my head. It was, therefore, Sydney, sorry, it's been killed to win this. Wow, I should have done it. He's chilling on tyres, you idiot. What do you mean, go to tyres? Melbourne back enough to beat Essen and the MCG on Saturday night. No, they're not. Essen and win. Melbourne have just beaten West Coast. People on the tip you have to. They weren't that. They were good. They kicked seven gold in the first quarter, and then it was pretty much in the first quarter of the football. Essen and the good. Melbourne aren't. Essen and win. OK, and seeing this down on Max Gorman with an ankle. Sunday. Gold Coast, host Port Adelaide. Gold Coast is the best team of all time at home, so the Gold Coast will wipe the floor with that. With Port up there. GWS travel to the MCG to take on Richmond. GWS should be getting that one done pretty comfortably. And here, 440 East and 240 Perth, Brisbane travel all the way across the country to take on the West Coast Eagles. It's going to be tough. It's going to be a tough one for the cars. It's going to be ugly. It could be pretty bad, and then Brisbane will be winning that guy. Always good to chat on a Monday. Thanks to West Coast Poly, complete tank solutions. They're loving what you bring into the table. Tanks for agriculture, residential and industry. West Coast Poly.com.au. What have you got left in the tank for East Perth? When are you back? I'll be back after the bike. We've got to buy this week, and then we've got Perth after that, so I'll be back for that Perth game. Feeling good, ready to go. I think with the tipping from here on out, because I'm 10 off. I'm 13 off the pace. I think you guys should start to have the tip on Monday. No. I should be able to tip at half time. I'll have a frick out there. [LAUGHTER] Good timing chance. We don't want to talk about the Waffle, who's team beat your team? My team, good beat your team. Is he still there? Yeah, he's still there. Yeah, he's still there. Yeah, he's in here. Bloody umpires. Nothing to bear the woof. Oh, the bloody umpires. Have had the ducks, though. Oh, no. That was very good. The ducks. The ducks. The ducks go and hang and buy and thread the ducks. They just... They are the best team in the comp. They are the best team in the comp. They are the best team in the... So far. Yeah, yeah, what's that? What? Six-hour. I'm not sure. We're just taking it one week at a time. We've got to plan on it back in business. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Clam on a right back in business. That's a big game of steel blue. There's going to be Range Rovers and Bentley's Pinch from Steel Blue all Saturday afternoon. That's going to be a big one. But that's what he's just going. Good idea. How much? Appreciate it. Do it again next week. Pleasure. All right. See you then. Hammer racial, West Coast Poly, Complete Tank Solutions. Tanks for Agriculture, Residential and Industry. West Coast Poly.com.au. News is just around the corner. Mark Duffield will preview his show thanks to Kubota. And our AFL coaches rankings out of 10 still to come. [MUSIC PLAYING] Are they gone? Gone. Here it is. What do you see? Ira over Collingwood. Line through it. With a texture, it is done. It's been a good era. They only got the one premiership. March 22. Who are we going to take? I say it again, brother. We played it when they were back up on a road. On 12 and a row. And with Mark Duffields in the studio, Collingwood gone? No, not yet. No. I think they've still got a strong method. And the margins are so narrow. Aren't they? Like they're still 11 in it? Yeah, it's gone on so easy though. That's the problem. They do. But teams have to be able to screw their guts up and take them on. You know? Like teams sometimes are getting in front of Collingwood. Just can't bring themselves to do it. Mark Duffield in after eight o'clock. Sima on Friday. You were front and center of the press conference. This is what he said. We've got 15 to 20 players that don't get a game every week. We've got probably 10 players who will be off the list end of the year. There's always people that are disgruntled. It's just part of the job. So we can't apologize for trying to get better. But now I think I've still got the players. So do you think everyone's... How do you reckon the players will be going today when they all rock up with a clap? You won the 10? You won the 10? And you were there. That for me was the story. That was a big line for coach tomorrow. That was the one where you kind of went. I thought he handled himself really well on Friday given what he was walking into face. But when he said 10, he won't be on. That's a bit early. A bit early for a bit of public list management. Obviously, yeah. I think you would probably say that's about the mark for what? He said 7 to 10. But come out and say it with 7 weeks remaining. Well, of those 10, you go sheet gaff. Darling? No. Darling survived. He's actually been important to them. He's not getting a lot of himself, but he's been good for Jake. Up to the last two weeks, he has improved outside. Yeah. He's playing a role that probably not a lot of will see. And the other thing with Jack is that they're mucking around with their rock structure. They're trying to figure out what works. Is it one or one plus blow? Jack did it a bit on the weekend. So would you rather him doing that than having to throw Oscar Allen in there or Jake Waterman in there? Of course you would. So I tend to think he's got a you on his contract to go. Oh, strategy. You put in a bloke in the record. You can't jump. And we've got to find out what's coming up in your show. We're going to do our coaches ranking. So we're going to get a break away. We've thrown out this morning. And is it completely off Broadway to suggest that Don Pike could actually coach the West Coast Eagles? It is now what I would say. Why? Well, because, I mean, you want to be taken seriously as a football club. It's not, I was going to say would you, Martha? But I always say would you, Martha? And apologies to would you, Martha. It's not the dark and reserves. It is the West Coast Football Club. We're coaching record than 15 of the current coach. Yeah, but what I would say is that had the board zig when they zagged at the end of last year, and they said to Trevor News, "Okay, someone's got to go. We're going to let you serve your contract and we're going to move on the coach." I suspect Don Pike would be the coach. Yeah. What do you got coming up after? Wow. We're going to talk to Paul Hazelby. And we're going to chew through the obviously West Coast mainly. And obviously, Fremantle too, they're sitting third on the ladder. Big game ahead against Hawthorne. What happens at West Coast? To me, yesterday was about what I expected. I didn't think it was certainly no miracle for Simmo, but it was certainly, they dug in and scrapped after quarter time, I thought, which was what he needed them to do. They fumbled the footy a lot, didn't they? They did. They weren't clean. Harley Reid was fumbly. Yeah. And probably because Melbourne, after what had happened to them here, bought a lot of heat. Yep. There was a lot of perceived pressure and the Eagles' boys didn't handle it that well, but you know, they were minus 17 points in the last three quarters. So I thought they were competitive after quarter time. The first quarter had Hawthorne again written all over. It had Simpson being sacked again full time. Yeah. Obviously, the injury concern about Jeremy was going on is a massive concern. Do we know any more about it? No, I'm still trying to find out what the big fella's doing. So it was a bit to chew through it. And what a competition, boys. It's amazing. Look at that ladder. It's got to go. After eight o'clock Mark Duff, he was always good to hear him chatting. Yeah, 21 degrees is a possible shower today, hitting its currently 12 degrees. Our coach room rankings are next. All righty. 12 degrees heading for the top of 21. Scotty and I have given ourselves a task overnight. We've got to come up with our coach rankings out of 10. That's a matter how long their tenure has been. So it can be 17 weeks a day in Hardwick. It will be 15 years for John Longway. Just to see how they're going. Let's start from the bottom. Let's go to Adam Uzay. Well, it's not pretty for who's giving him three. Yeah. A three out of 10 for me. 17% is working with a very horrid list. And I don't see any great upside. They're going to lose a lot of experienced players. Martin, maybe Bolton, maybe Baker. There's a lot of pain there. If you reckon West Coast are in pain, Richard are worse. But they have got three premierships under their building in the last five or six years. All righty. Let's go to next. We're taking all of those premierships out of the hall, out of the halls at your football club. It's not a great start. Yeah. And we're not talking about the club. We're talking about his coaching. So at the moment, he's got a three out of 10 for both of us. North Melbourne. And a second last, which means we're focusing on Alistair Clarkson. Three-foot. Clark. I'm not sure he's a rebuilder to be personalised. But in saying that, the last three weeks have been pretty good. Why agree? So three out of 10 on the win loss ratio? All righty. Fast to it. Now, Adam Simpson, overall, his tenure. Well, I know that people are going to be angry right now, but I'm giving him a seven. Premiership, five times finals, eleven years. Premiership coach, all Australian coach. I was second in 15. But I think sevens are pretty solid one. It would probably be more, but the last three years are going to be really, really hurt. The last three years have really hurt. He's had four years of 70% or better win loss record in his time. Yeah, that's pretty impressive. So he's got a flag under his belt, seven out of 10. But yeah, it's been a pretty tough watch over the last three years. All righty. Matthew Nix is the coach of Adelaide. Five for Nixie. Five. I thought he came in. They were in trouble. I thought they were playing above themselves. I missed the finals last year because of an error by the competition. But they've gone a little backwards this year. Five for Nixie. Four out of 10 for him. He's a hundredth game coming up, I think. Or he's a hundredth game. He's done a hundred games. Thirty-five percent, not doesn't wash it with me. Hard in a two-team down, but I'll give him a four out of ten. Then we go to Ross Lyon in his time. He's rebirth at St. Kilda. Two. Two. Seriously, I, you know, barring the weekend where they... Yeah, two. Because, during the weekend, where they were okay. Because they played a different style. I think they actually went against the coaches' wishes the way they played. I think that they are the worst team to watch play football now. Five for me. And they won't win a premiership. Five out of ten. Five out of ten for me. Did you get a miss? Stop it. They were in the finals last year. Yep. How'd they go? They still made the finals last year. And a lot of clubs don't. Two. Five out of ten for me. It's hard on him. I've given Ross Lyon a five out of ten, sort of a surprise. Many people think I've got it in for Ross. Let's go to Hawthorne and let's go to Sam Mitchell. Seven. For Sam Mitchell. What? Absolute seven. Well, he took over a list which Clarkau destroyed. And then they ripped it to the absolute bare bones. And they are now one game out of the eight. They are so far ahead of any of Adelaide, West Coast, North and Richmond. It's not funny. I've been killed. I think it's been terrific. Six out of ten for me. Oh, it's not too bad. It's 37% winning record. Yeah, he's made some hard calls. Well, you're coming in with a three or four. No, he's coaching well, but certainly not a seven. All right, that's good. Very generous. Gold Coast, Sam's next. Well, Dema. I've given Dema a six and a half. Six and a half because he's turned their team into a fortress at home. But as he said, they need to grow up. I think Gold Coast are in contention. Five out of ten for me. Five out of ten. They're hopeless on the road. He hasn't turned that around and he has to take responsibility for that. Luke Beveridge. Bevo Seven. Seven. No, six. I've changed that to a six for Bevo. He won a flag for that was 80 years ago, nine seasons ago. Yeah. And I think they're better than they are. So six for Bevo. Seven for Bevo for me. 55% winning record, premiership. He's been around a while and he doesn't have many bad ones in regards to the year. I think he had one bad one in 2022. What he got next is our... Oh, so I'm a good one. I've gone in the alphabetical order so you throw me around here. So I've gone seven and a half for Goody. Seven and a half. Obviously the first flag in a million years in 2021. 21 was here, wasn't it? Well, 20 was it here. What'd you give him? Seven and a half. I gave him eight. I gave him eight out of ten. There's not too many bad years. Apart from 2019, which was a stinker recalibration. There's been a lot going on that football club. I think he's done a remarkable job on giving eight out of ten. So he's put a lot of cute-offs there. Alrighty, Craig McCray. Nine. Nine picked up Rebel and they were in all sorts of strife. Hated in the place and now everyone loves the place. Won the flag last year. Obviously nine for fly. I'll give him eight out of ten. Seventy percent winning record. Four, two in the finals. I'm not so sure about whether people love places. There's enough to give you an extra percent in a coach. Well, what he's done is a coach. We just won the flag last year. Everyone loves Colin. And he's been there three years. Next is... Three years. Adam Kingsley? King has six. I think six for GWS. They've got an elite list. There's no doubt about that. They should be better. And you know what, ask me again at the end of the year. My challenge. Six out of ten for me. Then we go to... Chris Feigen? Seven. Just can't get it done. Been really good. Yep. But just can't get it done. Six out of ten for me. Port Adelaide. Ken Hinckley. Ken Hinckley is a seven. Seven for me. He continues to play finals and be competitive again. Just can't get it done. Got to stop crying. Chris Scott. Chris Scott's been eight and a half. Yeah. Nine for me. Nine for me. A flag. 70% winning records. Two. Two flags. He's a star. And then we go to Brad Scott. Brad Scott has been very good in his two years. Seven and a half. Eight for me. See, we're not too dissimilar in any way we're looking at this. What? Justin Longviewer. I've given JLO a seven. Yep. I played a final, won a final. They were poor last year. But right back in the mix this year. In a short tenure. I've got to give a seven. I was leaning to a six. But I go seven because I just can't be bothered with the three-mail backlash. Michael Voss. Carlton. Eight and a half. For Vossy. Picked up. Ravel again. Eight for me. Outstanding. Yeah, the real deal. And you know, weathered a horrible storm last year. And they're all going to burn again because they're lunatics. John Longviewer. We've been here a long time. Eight. Seven for me. Got to do more. This is the year. Yep. This is the year. Back-to-back losses hasn't helped. That's good. Very, very good. Anyway. So there you go. We'll put our out of ten. And it is for their coaching tenure. If you've got an opinion of that, let us know 048773676 Mark Duffield. In after eight o'clock Paul Hazelby will be coming off the long run. Don Pike. Just chew that over in your little heads today. If you're talking about replacements and Dean Cox is everyone's number one. It's because he's available. Possibly. Pike. It's not far from the CEO office to the coaching office. It's not stupid. No, it might be stupid. It's strange. But it wouldn't be a bad decision. It's a very good point. David's going to join us tomorrow. Yeah. I'm going to see what Ox has to say about June and McGovern and his bloody ribs. West Coast are going to put up a player. Who do you reckon that'll be? Anyone will do? Anyone will do?
