There it is. Thanks, James. Good on your mate. We appreciate it on top of the world Tuesday. With that being said, let's see how we go here. David Schwartz is our expert, of course. - He's fresh off his trip. - Breakfast powered by Kubota. Bali, how did you go? Good morning. - Good morning, boys. I can just say this. People say Bali Bali is not a great thing. But top of the day, Tuesday, I lost four kilos. So could not be happier. They're getting Bali Bali and sitting on the shit of her today was a benefit. I used to go there every year, sometimes twice a year, just to get Bali Bali. I would go there, eat off the carts, drink puddles, and just to get myself croaking, come behind Good Nick. I said, "Oh, it's me up. Just give me ice. Everywhere I go, just lay on ice farms. I was licking lettuce. I did everything I could to get croaked." And I was able to get it. Now, there's always a positive. Hey, David. Were you back in town to cease and kill or import, Adelaide? Yeah. Yeah, I was. Stay positive. Unbelievable. I thought it was a great game. I really like where it's flying. It's footy. What a super attacking coach he is. You know, if you went to that game, it was just value for money. The minute you walked in, the minute you left. So do you subscribe to the theory? It's that style of play is stifling any future stardom of Max King. Oh, poor Max. If Max King was smart, he would do whatever he can to get a stakeholder and find new horizons. I feel, look, he's a good player. He's not, you know, he's not Doug Wade, but I think if he played in the right system, he would be the player that we expect him to be. Isn't it amazing in a space of a couple of years, it was all about Ben King leaving Gold Coast to play with his brothers and killed up. Yeah. And now it's get out of their mess. You're right, though, because you're right, though, because when you look at him, you go, how can one twin be so much better than the other twin? Well, genetically, he says that they've both got the same thing. So it comes down to absolute game style and the ability is a forward to be at your best. Anyway, Carlin, we're good, too. Oh, say how good's that? Oh, yeah, we love Carlin. We love two great clubs, Carlin, they're, I don't know what to make of the bombers. The bombers, the bombers footy is good against average sides, but when you got to put your foot down and really knuckle in, they're still not, they're still not the side that they need to be. They'll scrape into the eight. They might play finals 40 for the first time in a long time, but they're not going to do any damage until they learn that when the heat is on, that they've got to get going. They've got the talent, but they haven't learned different gears to shit. So once they do that, I think they'll be okay. You think Brisbane are back in business? Oxford, we all think that they're coming back with, they found their mojo, they've squeezed themselves into the eight now and it's only obviously percentage separating about eight or seventh or eighth or fourteenth, but I think Brisbane are back in town. Yeah, they are, they can't believe Melbourne lost that. I was actually, I was flying over Ella Springs when, and you've got no reception in the plane. And, you know, sometimes you just get a little bit of reception. And an email came through these losing a thriller, and I'm not joking. I was sitting on the toilet, actually, when it came through, a crew number 11. There's not much information down there. There's another kilo going. And if you hadn't had a kilo, I thought, oh, here we go. So, now that was disappointing. Yeah, I thought Melbourne were okay, but Brisbane are dangerous. They're very dangerous. We know they've got, if they're too big forwards, quick, and they've got enough grunt through the midfield, they're going to be really, yeah, I don't want to be playing them up in a final, up north in a final, and, you know, their question is, can they do it on a big stage? No doubt. The only issue. No doubt. David Schwartz is our guest, of course, AFL nation, Melbourne champion, thanks to Sonos, multi-room, listening, wireless, honey theatre, and a whole lot more. Jonesy on the text line says, "Ox, can you please ask Ox if he still thinks that Patrick should dust himself off, toughen up, and get back out there?" Well, too many keys for me from, and I don't want to be negative because we're all positive. When I made those comments, and then I actually found out that he had a punch of lung, he had ruptured spleen, broken ribs, I thought, shit, I'm going to be in trouble here, and I'm out of it a hard. And my phone has caught in the meltdown, and for Christian, I love you, and I was just a tongue-in-cheek comment, but, yeah, I do take back those comments. I don't often take back comments, but those ones I'm taking back, and I wish I had my moment over again. Three minutes. Three minutes difference, Ox. I was three minutes after you said them. I know. I know. I know. Don't worry. I was well aware of it. Hey, Scotty, I want to be positive. I've got to be positive. I saw a bit of a clip with you and Russell Robertson. Yes. You did, I did say, and I'm not in the panting, so I didn't find it on the livebroke's website. They came up on Twitter, and I just want to say, I loved it. I really love what you and Russell Robertson did. So, all you listeners out there haven't seen it. I love how you go to passplace functions every single week, because you've been the more clubs and Ricky Nixon. I just really, I really enjoyed what I was watching, so well done. Yeah, we're going to find that and play it. Yeah, I agree with those two names in the same way. Where did you do that? A year, a month ago. Where? At a pub in Mount Lawley. Oh, local. It's over here, don't you? Yeah, Robbo was over because Melbourne were playing here. Of course they were. Whenever Melbourne played the Eagles, and so Robbo was on a junket. Yeah, as you should. Had a good chat. He's looking good at me, Robbo. Robbo's in good shape. Yeah, no. Well, there's no way he's going to let himself get out of shape, is he? No, no, no. Someone might still want him to play. If you've never seen Robbo outside of footy, he's banned. He's with Phil Sabano. He's got the best voice. He's one of the great singers you've ever come across. He's hooked out everywhere. He's a great entertainer. And you know what, he fits into top of the world Tuesday too, because he's always in a good mood, Robbo. And you know what you're going to get in every time. He's an absolute beauty to be around. So a lot in the year. I reckon out of all the footy players, he's the most unheralded guy. I know he's a great player, but I don't reckon he gets a cue to us at your users. He was a very, very good footballer. Great. Great. Hey, John Ox says, would you trade Oliver and Tomlinson Petty for King? Would you trade up to get Max King? Is that what Melbourne's missing a key star forward? All free. Oh, no. It's Oliver and Tomlinson, or Oliver and Petty? No. Why would I trade Oliver? No chance. No, no, no. I'll trade Petty and Tomlinson for King, but I wouldn't trade out Oliver. He's pretty important to Melbourne. If he gets his off-field stuff right, which I think he's got under control, if he gets that right, Oliver stays. I think this year hasn't been his best because his pre-season was rubbish. But if they get him sorted off-field, he's still one of the elite in the competition. So, no, I wouldn't trade him out, but I definitely, everything else, just about every other player, other than Petrarch or Gorn, Leaver and May wouldn't be traded. But anyone else is just about on the table. I'm not sure. I don't go for King. I'm not sure Tomlinson and Petty's getting the deal done, to be perfectly honest. I want to be close. No, I might not. You might need to throw something else, but certainly, I wouldn't trade out Oliver. So, where do you sit? Sorry. Where do you sit then? W-A-Boy in Jacob Van Royen, who looks like he'd be a really good second or third string forward. I think he can play, but obviously, being the number one man at the moment, not quite there. Where do you sit with Jacob? Yeah, I think you just got your pippin' tight, but, yeah, you're certainly not a Michael Jordan. He's a baby. He's still got a lot of growth to go. I would trade him for King. I would trade him out and then find a player that you can build your forward line around. I don't think you'd build a forward line around Van Royen. I think he's a player that would be that second or third banana. He's a good player, he's getting better, but far too inconsistent within games, yet alone within a season. You might see him for two or three minutes and then you won't see him for a quarter. So, he's got a good upside, but right where a Melbourne is, they've got a three-year window to still be able to maybe be competitive at the very top. He might be someone that you would do that too, and you might regret it, but there might be just what you need to be the final piece in the puzzle, maybe have a tilt at a flag again. So, you firmly believe that Max King is a now type of forward. That you think Max King in the right setup could be a game changer for a number of teams, but we talk of Melbourne right now. If Max King came to Melbourne, he would kick 60 goals a year, because the ball goes inside 50 enough. He would be, he would be, and if he had picket at his feet, he's got a channeler down there, he's got a Bailey fridge down there. I think King would appreciate the ball coming in and a bit of maturity around him and a bit of class through the midfield and a recommend that's going to support him. I think you would find that his football would go to new levels. Hey, question is just coming on the text line from 982. It's a question that Goss asked some time ago, and he was firmly in the West Coast camp on this one. He's starting to backtrack a little. He said the West Coast are closer to a flag than Fremantle after the weekends before. I don't think I need to ask the question. Who do you think is closer to a flag? Ox, West Coast or Fremantle? I think I think somebody close to the moment. I like where West Coast are going, Goss, but they're still a long way off. Like their list profile is all out of whack, all out of whack. They've still got to find some more run. They've got to find, I think Oscar Allen coming back in the side certainly straightens him up and Waterman's doing what he's doing. They're good backs with Barras and McGovern. They're good backmen, but you can score on them. They've got enough ground through the midfield. No, they've got good wingers. No, and they don't have any depth. They're okay, but Fremantle are so far in front of them. They are kilometers apart at the moment. I don't think Fremantle have got depth. I think Fremantle are right now. Absolutely. Their best 23 is really good. I worry about Fremantle in these last eight games. If they get two or three injuries, two key movers, they will struggle because they haven't given opportunities to a lot of players, kind of in consistent basis. And they're not exactly setting the world on fire at a waffle level. So I'm worried about that long term. I agree with you. They are closer to a flag. Now, now, right now, but not long term. Now, can I just, Liam Baker. What do you mean by long term? I reckon West Coast, one midfielder away from being a challenger, a one genuine midfielder. I don't think they need a forward. They've got Oscar Allen and Waterman. I think they've got two of the best defenders, not good defenders. I know they get scored on the side of May and Lever. So I would be going to bet to, and a lot of the reason why Barris and McGovern get scored on is because of the lack of midfield presence. And I think a Liam Baker, less chance, Chad Warner, but Liam Baker will make a heck of a difference to that team in the midfield. Absolutely. I think Liam Baker is a star. And I think Richmond have almost conceded that he's done that he'll leave. I'll give you one. I'll give you, and I know this has been going around a while, but I'll give you 100%. And this is a 98 or 97% Scotty. 100% Dustin Martin will be playing at the Gold Coast next year for a two year contract. Are we taking that to the bank? You're taking the bank. Just put it in the bank right now and just collect the interest. Wow. It's done. So you will see that he'll be playing with the Gold Coast next year. Speaking of heaven. And I reckon you'll find that he'll play the majority of home games and travel in one of your big option for him. How is that going to help Gold Coast? Well, I think what he brings, he brings a bit of star factor, which is, you know, they want people through the gates, which is really important, but anybody who's played with Dustin Martin knows that he is a great leader about what he does on the training track and what he does on the field. And sometimes actions speak louder than words. Yeah. He's not a big talk, but when he does talk, he commands enormous respect. And for a young group, there's only benefits that he brings. He's got he's got he's got he's got his outside life under control. He's not a he's not a bull-fed, probably like he was when he was a 21 year old. He's mature. And his example is exactly what he's exactly what the Gold Coast need. He brings marketing dollars. He's got a great relationship with obviously the coach. He knows that system and he goes up there, maybe in a playing and a coaching role behind the scenes. It's just a win-win. I think Richmond will get a nice pick for him. He gets another opportunity. And I think everybody wins in this. I think football wins, Dustin Martin wins, Richmond win and the Gold Coast win. Wow. Okay. And then you've got Baker leaving. He's talking about Shea Bolton going onto the trade table. Daniel Rioli wants out as well. I don't know if they can get Mark Rioli, Rioli, Rioli won't be leaving. Okay, there you go. 100% he'll be staying as well. All righty. There he is. Take good ball to the bank. All right. I think it's good until Sydney come in and offer Dusty a 10 year deal and really pissed the overall off again. I don't think that'll be happening. And I reckon Chad Warner will be at Fremantle. That's my, I really believe that he'll end up going to Fremantle for whatever reason I'd, you know, Haywood, Haywood re-signing up in Sydney or, you know, green to terms. I think that's the first signal that they're worried about Chad Warner leaving and Fremantle at the club. All righty. Okay. Let's get to Tuesday tips really quickly. Collingwood Essendon, Friday night. Well, Collingwood, they're just, they're just better than them. North Melbourne Gold Coast Saturday Marvel. Well, Gold Coast don't went away from home. But I'll give them the first win away from home for the year. Port Adelaide at home to the Western Bulldogs. I don't like Port Western Bulldogs. Jelong at home to Hawthorne. We saw them live. They're good. Yeah, they win. They win. They, and it's always a hard travel coming back from the Western then to go down to Jelong. Port would've been mighty. They've been brave. They'll love their footy and I can't believe I'm saying it because I thought they're going to be ordinary. I think Jelong will tell them up. Oh, wow. GWS host Carlton and Angie. Yeah, this is a big one. GWS of pathetic. Well, I got to know what's happening to them, but they've taken their Superman cape off. I'm going to give, not GWS. No, I can't have GWS. Fremantle host Richmond here said day night. They'd want to win that. And GWS, if they get Chad Warner, West Coast, he can further away from winning the next flag. There's going to be some things on David. I don't think they think time made. No, it's going to be hard to be. I think if you think one midfielder is going to fix West Coast, you're off your rock. Where does he feel you? Can you imagine, we know how quick Chad forward is in Sydney. Imagine him playing over the West. Oh my God. Melbourne West Coast Sunday in CJ. This will be a ball. Now, I tell you now, this is a payback. This is payback for the demons and for the West Coast fans out there, this could get ugly. How many will fill the MCG? How many will they fill? How many will love at the MCG for Melbourne West Coast in early July? Oh, should be a blockbuster. 29,400. Yeah, that's about right. Arsen killed a Sydney Sunday marvel. Sydney. Sydney will bounce back in. So, I think, thank you. We're in the bottom three. Sydney will kick six goals and still win. And Brisbane Adelaide at the Gabba. Brisbane. Brisbane win that one. Good on you, Oxman. Appreciate it. I hope you're feeling better. I always love it. I love it. I checked, mate. Good on your legend. And then a moment. I love these positive Tuesday stuff. Ringing every Tuesday for the class. It is beautiful. We'll take that to the bank, too. Don't worry about that. So, there's the big news. He says a two-year deal, Dusty Martin Gold Coast. Lock it in and Chad Warner to Freeo. David Schwartz, with all the breaking news. Words were not 98%, not 99%, 100% take it to the bank. Speaking of 100%, we need your power rankings. Quick fix.
