I'll keep my account, but we're not post or respond. I'll miss it, but we'll still be watching. - You're wasting your life going on social media. There's a whole world out there that's passing you by and your head is stuck in your phone. And someone is never, not for a second-spinning time on it. It is the greatest decision I've ever made in my life. - I'm not arguing with people that have no impact on my life. I think you should stay on and I think you overreact to some of the reactions and responses you get. Can you flick through the responses that you got to that tweet on? - Really? - Do it, tweet. Can you respond to that thing you next? - Yeah, I posted. - Yeah, you posted on X. Go through some of the responses, please. - Do you really wanna hear them? - Yeah, bring it on. I read some beauties. - Oh, I'll get there. - Bring them out, mate. - Right, just hang on, mate. - You're gonna scroll through a lot of the-- - Good riddance, Timmy. - You won't be missed. Good move. Can't post anything without someone looking to argue. You're disconnecting from the ivory tower. Fantastic news, you're always a quitter. F*** off. You should have realised this a long time ago. You can just leave without posting it. You're a f***er mate, get real. Don't let the door hit you on the way out. I don't think it's funny, Scott. - Iced it, yeah. - West Coast groveling is officially f***ing dead and buried. You'll be back. Something Vic buys will trigger you. You might be able to help yourself. In the meantime, we'll miss you, you f***ing wit. I wasted 16 seconds of my life reading this pointless f***er. All you do is winge, no great loss, see you later. What the hell? Good news, don't hurry back. It just goes on. Don't be a cry, baby, you f***ing suck. Ah. Good, you don't shut up, piss off. Well over due. And that goes on. Ah, week is piss. Good riddance, you f***ing flog times two. (LAUGHS) Are these the front ones I've even muted? I have to unmute people. Again, again, what? Why aren't you going to interact with people? They're so reasonable and complementary. That's just a sample. Are you wonder why, don't you? Oh. Oh. OK. I didn't see those ones. I'll give you 48 hours. There's a lot of people that are disappointed. Ah, but, you know, a small sample, small sample size. I'm OK with it, only 24 hours in Scotty. You've been... I'm seeking help. But you're still on there having a look around and that sort of stuff. Yeah, because it provides me with a source of information. There's obviously great newsbreakers on there, so I'm not dead to it. And most of the people have deviated and gone, "How are we going to get our racing tips?" Well, Gostrid Amas continues. Yes, I can see that. I can see that today. That's... Hang on, this is called "Merch." "Merch." I've never seen anyone ever. And this is... I'm going to post this on socials and I'm going to see the rest of the... You've got "Merch" on today, you've got "Pucker Up." Yeah, "Pucker Up." Well, mine was also mental health. This was during Covid. You're just going to create mental health issues. You've got a Gostrid Amas live hoodie on with a photo of yourself on it. Yeah. But that's going to cause issues. That's going to trigger people. This was made by one of the shed family who used to watch Gostrid Amas live during Covid, when I used to do it from my shed. Played music and had a quiz. I don't think I've met anyone who wears a hoodie with their own head on it. Haven't you met Will Schofield? No, I haven't. See what... Well, he's got batshit. Yeah. That's clever. That's good, Mark. Characterist, you are. Yeah. Now, that's me. Gostrid Amas live. That is you. It's a little bit short in the arm. That's shrunk. That's shrunk in storage. There's no doubt about that. Anyway, that's... Hey, as a lot of people said, you do you, Gost. You do you. There's a lot of people that are disappointed and upset that you don't know me on socials. But I'm okay with that. I'm okay with that. And most of them, there are some people I'm really surprised at. Well, it's one boat that's got a physio... physio, the dietary company in Melbourne. What a sort of respectable health professional. Well, he's got his business name on there. Now, my view is, I know someone that hate cripple because of bad... No, I didn't. I'm only joking. He doesn't know I'm talking about him. Someone will tell him. Royal mention and tell him. The only thing that we've got now is if you named his business... Yeah, I mean that... You named his business? Oh, no, I can do that. What? This is a bloke who... This bloke was pretty scared that he ended up... He's actually quite nasty to me. He did two or three careers, didn't he? No. I think a couple of players went to go see him. Oh, okay. I'll know. No, no, no. No, no, no, no. Oh, that's... I'd say... All right. His company name is... Oh, no. Oh, no. Oh, wow. He's opened the boys. The boys have got to that in time. Anyway... If you'd like to say something nice, 0487736 or 131255... You're confident this can last? No. You're not confident at all. So this... But I'm going to... You're going to try. So what I want you to do is I want you to gauge your happiness and your mental health state while you're off it compared to being on X. Well, the thing is with this, I've got nothing more polite, man. I'm selling hazards. I'm doing this. I'm looking for another job. I mean, I'm selling, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry. I'm doing this. I'm selling houses. I'm hosting. I'm a grandfather of the year. I'm a parent of the year. I'm a husband of the year. I'm a son of the year. I'm a friend of the year. I've made up with all of that. Exactly. All over my bag. So I've got all that going on. So this is just an add-on. So I've found far too much time to talk to the Great Unwashed. There's a lot of abuse. And I don't like to talk to people who are not, you know, I get paid to give my opinion. I don't know why those other people give theirs, because they're not. They're doing it for free. They're giving a crap out of opinion for free. Why waste their time? Anyway, but it is my socials, and I can do whatever I like with it. But I know that if I come back on, they're all going, "Ah, the abuse will just roll over." But I might pick up an extra thousand followers, and that's all about the numbers. It's an uppercut. It's Scott. I see what you're doing here. Scott. I see what you're doing. I mean, that sparked probably the biggest outrage from Victorians, and I have said a thousand times. I've got no issues with Victoria or Melbourne. I love it. Like if someone said to me, "Move back there tomorrow," I would be going back there tomorrow with security. You do the show. I'd be going back there. Do the show from there. I would leave in Melbourne tomorrow. I love the place. Yeah. It's the people that give me the shits. I f***ing hate them, okay? They are—the whole world revolves around them. They think the whole f***ing sporting world revolves around them. They get one boxing f***ing day test, right? They have a grand final, which we had here, and we could have sold it 40 times over. It is the sh**ing people that live there that give me the earrings, and 99% of the abusers come from there or Fremantle. Yeah. We'll leave it there. Ooh. Got it in, goss. Ooh. 20x6. Do you feel better? Thank you for letting me detox a little bit. The phone, the text line has got busy. Thank you for possibly making his own employed. Yep. That's okay. Text line is busy, mate. I don't know. Goss leaving X. Someone's lying. No. Oh, goodness. Some people are really classy. There's a lot of support here for you, mate. This is why you need to be on—but you've put yourself in a difficult situation here. It's good. It's right, goss. People love you. Get back on socials. I'm not getting their count. Looks like I'm missing out. They focus on the negatives. Of course, we love you, mate, even if you are a West Coast Eagles cheerleader. I've done. I can't believe corn responded to so many great radio. Well, we'll see. Management of Greek morning, gents. Goss, Cam Luke, our good mate, Cam. Set the over under at two days. Honestly, in track here, it's the day, apparently. Gossage is headed up to here with X, not a new headline, to someone nine eight five. Morning, legends, Tim, Tim, Tim, Tim. The king of Perth can't leave socials, comedic gold. When you offload on some, mmm-mm, we'll put the corn back in his box. Have a great day, everyone. I'll have what these blokes are having, please. What's up? What's up? Best start to the show ever, boys. Goss giving up socials like a heavy smoking gun, cold turkey. One of the greatest starts to a show of all time, though, is not up early enough, podcast it. You don't want to. You won't regret it. No, no, no. You're not the podcast, isn't it? I'm sorry. Yeah. An uncensored version released. No. No, no, no. Did you feel better now? Thanks for everyone. It's all good. It's all good. It's just, you know, you've just got to make some. You've got some big changes in your life and pivot every now and then. I've posted your hoodie this morning just asking people, is it acceptable to wear a hoodie with your own face on it? I don't want to read those comments. For those who want to know, to Gostridamus, the race tipping guru, he will continue. He's a champion. He will continue. He will continue. Oh. No, he's got to continue. He doesn't get him. The race tips. He doesn't get embroiled in any other stuff, but he might leak one out every now and then. He's just a drag if you over. So, if you're following me on X's Tim Gossage, hit a cross to Gostridamus. But Gomosridamus is there for racing and racing and racing. Correct, thanks to Ladbrox. He will not be getting involved in feedback on his tips. Nope. Not at all. Don't you? It doesn't normally respond. Grab 24 chicken McNuggets for $9.95, get more for your money. He's getting smarter than you. Some people reckon it's not me, reckon it's that someone pretending to be better. Someone who knows what they're doing now have been terribly out of form, but did $9 winner last week. I'll tell you who is at tipping genius. Yeah, man. Jesse Dutt. Little Dutt. On a Friday. He didn't last. Not the Dutt. On the last three weeks, I reckon he's tipped five or six winners and one was a $17 winner. Oh, yeah. He's going great guns. I make sure this all my Friday because Friday's our best day of the week. Alrighty. Let's get this underway. Oh, you want to go to the callers? Oh, you want to go callers? Okay. Let's go to Darryl of Kingsley. He's been waiting patiently. Good day, Darryl. Good morning, guys. First of all, in relation to your tweet, I don't mind your tongue-in-cheek stuff. So, you know, just don't listen to half of these bloody videos online, you know. You're smart. You're smart to see these tongue-in-cheek. 99.9 percent is tongue-in-cheek, Darryl. And then tongue-in-cheek, all you need is war and trade rate, just to come in with good call after a tweet anyway. I'd say that as well. So, that anyone that reads today doesn't matter what they say, I'm going to go, "Good call." No matter what you say, if you ring the day, I'm finishing with you. And then you're going to hit the reverse and back the truck out. Oh, no, no. What I meant was. Good call. Thank you, Darryl. You're a good man. Yep. Just quickly, in relation to Frio playing Sydney this weekend, I really hope Frio to see this is a bit of a free hit, just to try some things. I'd like to see a couple of moves. Such as try and put a hard tag on Warner and Heaney, maybe with the James Aish in the first quarter, just to see if we can get a foothold in the game. And then obviously, just try some things, because a lot of people aren't going to expect us to obviously win. So, I think more of our games will be coming after this anyway in terms of our top five or top four aspirations. Yeah, they're going to get through this one, I'm Skye, so they don't want to get hit hard on, if they get belted, they've got to be careful of percentage, they agree. I don't think they can go into the game without some sort of negative impact on a player in the middle. I'm with you here. Darryl, I'll ask you the question, because as we know, coaches are very, very confident about their process, their game plan, do you think that Frio's game plan right now will beat Sydney? So, I think the answer is no, trying different things is absolutely what you said, Darryl, I think it's a beauty, it's a free hit, there we go. Yeah, I don't think our game plans matching Sydney's at this point in time, because obviously, I don't think we put enough impact on the scoreboard. And we've got to be very accurate. Now, if you remember the game, obviously, there was tragic circumstances around the optostadian game, but we kicked ourselves out of that game in the first quarter, we would kick something like none eight or whatever, and you can't really go into a game with bad goal kicking amongst all the good play that you had put in that first quarter. Yeah, very true. Good call. Always a good call. Good on you, Darryl. Thank you. Let's go to Lisa of Ellyn Brook. Lisa, good morning. Morning, Goss. Morning, Scotty. Got bad news for Frio. It's going to be bucketing down in Sydney over the weekend, and they're playing in the rain. I hear the Frio, so good luck to that. Goss, I just want to know why are you channeling all your good oxygen into grubs out there, that all they do is hide behind their keyboard and make him for people, so just continue doing what you love doing. If that's what you love being on social media, just continue doing it and blow the rest of them and don't play all their rubbish on air, because that's exactly what they're looking for. Yeah. Looking for air time. Yeah. You make a good point there, Lisa. Thank you. Thank you for your concern. It's just time wasting for me. Cool. Cool. You know what I mean? It's just time wasting. You know what I mean? I've got such a busy life now being the number one real estate agent in Perth. Yeah, number one. I don't have to say it. I don't have time. Yeah, number one. Grandfather. Exactly. So I don't have time. And I know that tourism WA came to get me to try and get more Victorians into WA. Yes, yes. I am. I am. I'm going to fly the spawner. So you're not aware of the letter I received that I mentioned yesterday? No, no, no, no. No, no, no. No, no, no. It's the answer. It's the truth. It's the truth. Yeah. So let's slip yesterday because I didn't want to alarm anyone. I'd like to know. I should buy the window. But it's not going to come with the very mod. Oh, truth. So that's unnecessary because that actually does scare me, that type of behaviour. Anyway. Oh, you reckon they're going to see you behind me? No, they're not. And judging by these... You have to put on the windows that one picture of me right behind me and then to the other side's picture view. So then... No, I did receive a letter from someone saying let the games begin and there was a monopoly photo of a monopoly or something out of a picture of a man. And it sort of had a crack. I'm pretty sure I know where it's come from and doesn't warrant any more than I'm aware of it. I'm not concerned in any nature. I haven't posted. Yes. I was posted. I think it was from Geelong. Oh. Really? But I think they're moving here or if not have removed here. Yeah. Don't matter, mate. Don't worry. I've had plenty over the journey. Death threads. Oh, mate, challenge him. Nice to come once a week. No. Oh, mate. I used to get told. Actually, you're a death thread to the sports reader. No. A little bit different. I'm not just reading words. But you don't. In a tourial item. Oh, I did a bit. Western Front. I was copping a bit. A little game show. We used to do... But the funny part is with all of that is that, um, yeah, I'm not really that concerned by it all, but... I am. We used to... Don't... Don't... When we walk out, just walk 20 meters apart. Do you want? I'm just gonna... I'm not turning my back to you. I'm just staring at the window and looking at the canfield just so I can see what's coming. Don't stress. So it doesn't matter. It's not that important. But I just wanted to just reiterate, when I was at Channel 10, we used to say we weren't allowed to open. I wasn't allowed to open my letters because I worried that there would be a substance or anything in there. You know, those... Oh. Yes. I'm a substance. Yeah, but that went on for years. Wow. Yeah. That's interesting. Yeah, yeah. But I'm sorry. So obviously, my doesn't add up too much. If we worry about what people think about us all the time, we walk around the straighter. Imagine if you would find us. Imagine being Basil. Yeah, where are we going to eat cops? That's just extraordinary behaviour though. Oh, yeah. I thought that was only in movies. But you know what? If you... No point coming to me, the funny out where he lives because I don't know either. I don't have no idea where he lives. Wow. John wants to know why we're targeting the big issues. Can we get an update on the lost earring from Sydney? I was scared if we make that call. Don't be that angry. Scotty from Scarborough isn't least a such a lovely mother figure. She is always got great concern. Thank you, Scotty. Roy wants to know, was the letter that I received from Stephen Cordham. No, Cordham's not. Cordham's not. Cordham's not getting on. Yeah, what? Right. It's... It can't be narrowed down to one. It does. It does, can't be. Yeah, we've got a cracker to look forward to on Friday night. This one is 400 metres. We had four heaps last week. The heat winners were Sunset Hornet, Barbecue Man, a little bit twisted and a Ruffy Kingsbury Demon. For Glenn Curry, we've got a really good field gear. Sunset Hornet is the favourite from Box 3. And I've been in and out of formal all year, haven't really been able to play consistent for you. So, hopefully I can do that in the back end of the year. I wanna know, can I just, I'll put you for a second, who's at the club right now at 6.40? Are you waiting for someone to open the gate, or do they give you a special key? No, we've all got our wristbands that get us in. But, mate, there's a sea crew that get in nice and early. There's a crew that go in and do an ice bath to start their day. Any brochure's got a little crew that do that, and then there's a big bunch of us that like to get some touch done at 7 a.m. So, heaps of guys are in nice and early. Nice stuff. Never be accused of not being diligent and doing your work. Can we ask you about the skipper straight away? Obviously, Adam, it was a horrible four. It looked really bad, and we now know that he's got a fractured arm. You've got to miss him. He's been an absolute... You know, he's been a good life down back this season and last season. Yeah, absolutely. And his leadership as well has been extremely strongly here. He's grown into that role, you know, 12 months last year, and then second year, have been the skipper this year. And the big thing for him has just been his performances on the weekend, like he's been leading extremely well during the week, but he's been lifting the bodges for these actions on the weekend. So, he's going to be missed. Hopefully, he's not out for too long, I think they're saying around three to four weeks. So, fingers crossed, that recovery goes as smoothly as possible, and he's back before we know it. I saw a sneaky shot from the change rooms. Did I not see you also had a nice pack on your arm? Yeah, you might have. You don't miss much far out. I just got a little corky in my arm from the Western Bulldog's game that led a fair bit, so had that compressed and just iced it up for a precaution. But that's no worries at all, just part of 40. All right, let's move it forward to Sydney. What a huge game. I'd see him that has so many weapons, like two weeks ago, a Marty kicked nine on the weekend. He didn't kick any, and they had 11 goal kickers. They have got so many weapons. They're going to need to be at your best. It's a true test. You're in the top five at the moment, chance to get into the top four. You know you're capable of beating them. You beat them there last year. It's going to be a huge challenge, but I'm sure everyone's looking forward to it. Yeah, there's a lot of excitement around for this one. I was there at the peak of their powers at the moment and have been pretty much unstoppable. The one thing about them is they've been scoring really quickly in patches of games. Like they've had, you know, 15 minute patches or 30 minute patches of games where they're just putting teams away like you can five to 10 goals in those periods. So, yeah, we need to be at our absolute best. It's going to take a team after the week that we had on my weekend and we're going to have to play four quarters of footy. So, yeah, what an excitement around the group at the moment to try and get it done. The tag is back. Jago's no doubt about that. It's not something that free of necessarily deployed. Is it something that you have a look at this weekend? And which one of them do you go to? I mean, we talk about Heaney, Gordon and Warner, but Robotham's just stepping up and being just as dangerous. Do you bother with it? Or is it a matter of, you can't stop them or we got to back the whole team to do it? I think we'll soon have a look at it. We've got our preview today before main training to go through those sort of scenarios. But, yeah, there's a plethora of those guys that you could tag. Whether or not we do a team job on them or not, we'll see. But, yeah, they've got Golden on the outside and we can go and play as an inside mid as well. And then Robotham tends to have a bit of a role on someone that can win his own footy as we saw on the weekend against the Giants as well. So, I'm sure that we'll have some sort of plans in place but we'll wait and see to find out this morning. Is it something you put your hand up for? That sort of role, maybe you fit enough. You are as professional as they become. And you're always in the best possible condition you can be in. Is that a sort of role that you would say, "Aye, I'm up for that if required?" Yeah, absolutely. I'm happy to play anywhere, mate. I'm just wanting to be a part of this team. I think it's something really special about this team. We've got a number of guys who are at an age where they're going to be around for a long time and they're extremely invested. And we've got enough talent on the list to do something special with the added extra of the guys wanting to get the work done. So, I'm just keen to be a part of this team for as long as possible. And hopefully, yeah, play my role. And if that's tagging someone, then absolutely, I'll put my hand up for that. Can I take you back 12 months, then, when you did play in that win against Sydney at 27? Eight tackles, you were busy. I understand the day. What, can you recall that sort of role that was 12 months ago? What role you played in that game? And has things changed for you personally as a player in that 12 months in regards to your role inside that three-metal team? Yeah, I would have been playing as an inside mid in that game. And now I'm playing as a winger. So, a completely different role playing as an outside player, which I haven't done much of over my career. I've really enjoyed it this year. It's been a big challenge for me because I've always been a natural sort of ball hunter. Playing as an inside mid and as a wingman, you have to hold outside balance and all those kind of different decisions you have to make in terms of when to go on, when the 40-year-old later tackle and when to hold that outside balance, so the guys on the inside can provide that pressure. So, that's been a challenge for me this year, but I'm really enjoying it. Lots more running up and down that wing compared to as an inside mid. So, yeah, completely different roles, but I've been playing in different positions across the season as well, a little bit forward of had to help out in the back line a little bit. So, just playing a little bit of everywhere, but that's my role in the team. And as an experienced head, I can provide that. So, happy to do that for the team. Just to ask you about the surface of Optus Stadium in the moment, because there's been a lot of criticism in the last few days, and there's more criticism on Melbourne radio this morning. Jeremy Whiteley, very strongly in regard to the ground and the criticism of the surface. But I just want to ask you, Jeremy Sharp plays the far wing. So, he plays the sort of like the southern side of the ground and stays out wide in the sunshine. It's good for his tan. You seem to play this side all the time. You don't trade spots. Is there a reason for that? Is that because you are more, I'm not saying you rotate a lot, but you get more rotations and you've got to be closer to the bench? And he seems to be on the ground almost 100% of the time. Is that how that plays out? Is that how you pick wings? Yeah, I couldn't work it out at the start of the year. Well, Sharp, he wanted to stay on that side, but I think I think that is the reason. He's an amazing runner, and he could probably play a full game, he's required. But he generally gets maybe one or two rotations a half, whereas I'm, you know, first and second quarter. First and third quarter generally get two rotations, and then one in the second and fourth. So, yeah, I'm rotated a lot more, and it's just easier to get to the bench. But, yeah, that's on the side of the up to stadium in the moment. It's the wing that you want to be on, because it's in much better condition than the bench side wing. OK, so tell us a bit about it. What's it like underfoot? Because we see it, it's not a bit patchy, bit patch. It doesn't look great. It looks like it's got a bit of bad weather and things haven't grown. You're out there, you're running on it. We did see a couple of players slip. Is it not in great nick as a player? And do you have to, are you mindful of what you're wear and you're footing the whole time? Yeah, we're not a lot of older traditional screw-ins anymore. So, with the metal studs, you can get some plastic ones, but not all boots have those options. So, I just generally wear the molded ones, and if I do need to wear the screw-ins, then I'll wear the plastic ones. But, it's just a bit inconsistent, to be honest, like some parts of the ground are in really good condition, and others not so much. But we aren't using that as an excuse, like both teams have to play on the same ground. So, there's no advantage to either side. So, yeah, that's all, that's all I'll say about it. Hey, Jacob, out there's a guy that played his first game on the weekend, and I really like him. And I'm on the firm belief that every team, to win a premiership, you need a rang around your team. It's as simple as that. They just had to go about their footy. But here, David, he looks like a bit. He didn't get a mount of the footy himself, but he didn't get beaten and he did his job extremely well. He's got a standing ovation. He's standing together. I think for a spoil, the game's changed a little. You should have to kick 100. Yeah, any other? There was some excitement around that on that far wing. Yeah, he's, I think he'll probably end up being a fan favorite. Like he's always, he's already, sorry, a favorite of the locker room. He does the hard stuff, and his growth over the last 12 to 18 months as a player and a teammate has just been outstanding. He's in every morning, nice and early. Always working on his game. And most teams, I know most teams in AFL have a trademark, which the players generally run. And some of these trademark efforts on the weekend in the AFL game, we've seen all year in Peel. And that's part of the reason why he got the selection. So hopefully he can use this game as a bit of a springboard for the rest of his season and the rest of his career. Yeah, looking forward to it. Big game for him and the rest of the boys on the weekend against the Sydney Swans. And you talk about the trademark. Maybe his little brother needs to toughen up a little bit, because there was a moment during the game that his little brother, who's a mini me, Dave, he's don't worry about that already. He was receiving a neck massage from his mum, I assume, who is standing behind him during the game. They got it on camera. Yeah, flashed up on the screen. Flashed up on the screen. Oh, no. Geez, what's that all about? Mum, just a couple of minutes on the neck and shoulder snakes. That's why he was such a good player. And he's funny. Well, we actually had a last week. We had a father-son training day and a few of our old boys came in. I think there was about 24 of them that made it to training. And my old man actually did his honey. But we had a meeting, we had a meeting, which the dad set up the back of the meeting room for. And I think you, Davey's my dad, was sitting next to you, Davey's old man, and he's a, I think he's a lawyer. And he works some US hours. So I've had a late night and he actually fell asleep during the meeting. And my old man has, like, fantastic. Nice work. Hey, mate, appreciate your time. Have a good one. Enjoy training, get through it, unscathed. And we'll look forward to the weekend. Gotta be a huge test for everybody. Thanks, Kelsey. Thanks, Scott. Have a good day, baby. He's a ripper. J-Grow, Mira, he's a ripper. And I think it's fair to say it was his best game on the weekend. He's had some good ones. We'll get a good break after 7 o'clock. A whole lot more to come. Scotty and Goss, and we'll be talking to Dan Hanabry, former swan. Scotty and Goss, great feedback for J-Grow, Mira, gave us some nice little zingers, didn't he, Noss? His old man did a hammy, and their father, Sunday, and... You woke up. Hugh Davis, old man fell asleep in the back of the team, Marty. And he's... Not a big mate, he's a man. No, and he also said there's a couple of little patches only at Optus. Some of it's really good, and some needs a bit of work. So no, I'll smolt your room listening. That's it. It seems to be getting a bit of traction. Wireless home theatre, awesome. Roost? Some of the players aren't getting it. Or less traction. Oh, theatre. And more experienced game-changing sound this season. It's on, I see, when you don't try to be funny, you come up with some really good stuff. It's when you force your humour, and not many of us can just... OK, Jerry's time, Val, don't take your voice from you. I'm being funny. It's just a roof. That ain't $12.55, Toolkit, depot open line now. Scotty from scarbs is on his way to works, says there's an eight-car crash on the freeway near Leech Highway going north. Get off. The official word for main roads is the right lane is blocked. Towing services on-site. In fact, the towing services are there before the crash. They're very good. They're very good. And don't get in their way either. Traffic is heavy on the approach to Farrington Road. I hope everyone's all right there. Yeah, absolutely. Let's get a bit of audio out the way here. Sam Edmond spoke on Gary and Tim this morning, a short time ago, in regards to the future of West Coast Eagles' star for back, Tom Barris. Their delay in structuring a contract extension for Tom is once again threatening to see the key defender, Leaver Club. It's quite a fascinating piece of play this. So there's been a bit said about Barris in recent weeks. This has come into sharper focus over the last couple of days. So Tom Barris is 28. He's got three years to run on an existing deal, having turned his back on Sydney's riches in last year's trade period, of course. But rival clubs have reached out in recent weeks, have been told that Barris will absolutely consider a move. Why? Well, the defenders decision to reject Sydney's strong interest, first and foremost, was made due to a combination of loyalty for West Coast, but also family reasons that saw him taking actually less money to stay than what he would have got to go to the inside. But got four years, yeah. No, no, the contract is unchanged. So it's through to the end of 2027 at the moment. But there were also, my understanding, is there were undertakings at the Eagles after that, that Barris would be looked after. Given the salary cap increases, the premium value now put on key backs of his caliber, and veteran teammates recently signing new deals. But there's been a change in administration at West Coast, of course, and that has seen things stolen. That has prompted rival clubs to circle. The Barris camp is actually chasing my information a two-year contract extension, which would make it a five-year commitment through to the end of 2029. So if West Coast are to come out and say, "Well, Tom's our man, Tom, we want you, you're staying," then they're going to need to show it. - Hang on. - So-- - Hang on, jump in. - Yeah. - Do you tell me-- - Jump in on behalf of me. - He told me he's still got three years to go. - He does. - What do you mean? What sort of demonstration of commitment do they want to make? Is this a ridiculous seven-year, 10-year-- - Five. - Our landscape that we're in now-- - I just said five. - At saying the three years is not enough. - Two years under the three. - So you have to still got three years. - He's got three years. - Sure, range. - I'm a gary on that one. - It's what I'm talking about. I'm doing a gig with Tom Barris tonight, actually. - Yeah, well, I put it on him. - Yeah, I'm going to ask him. - No, I'm being honest with you. And film it and also record it. And if you don't, I will. I'll come down and do it, because that's a good story. - Yeah. - You're due to break one on this show, and I think this is your moment to shine. - I know your role, play role. - I can't tell story. - So let's get serious on this one, though. I agree, I mean, he's got-- I mean, no disrespect to Tom. Tom is a super player, and he's a big part of what they do. - I mean, great season. - And what going forward is important with him at the helm down back, and he works so well with McGovern. West Coast don't have to move on this. - No, I've got three years. Oh, if he says I want to out, I'm sorry, no. - Yeah, and in three years' time, we'll judge whether you're worth another two years. - Yeah, exactly right. - He might completely fall off the cliff. - Again, I think it's driven by management saying, "Hey, how are you feeling lots of offers?" - Of course he does. - Yeah. - Normally he'll have offers everywhere. He's a very good player. - And you know that I was leading from the front last year about the Sydney all over him, and got poo pooed by a whole range of opposition media outlets. - Prove to be correct, all over him. - Correct. And everyone said, "Oh, Tom Barriston's picked him up." I said semantics. The players very rarely speak to the clubs. - The players don't. - Yeah, the manager doesn't-- - So the players said, "Okay, let's-- "I'm seriously going to entertain this. "Should I meet the coach?" And they can't meet him. That's it, but it's all done for months before by people that the players have no say in it. Not no say in it, but they don't have any interaction with anyone. - Thoughts on that 13-12-55-0-4877-36-6736. So three years to run on a contract, and other clubs are circling. Now West Coast would be saying quickly to themselves, "All righty, three years." He's got massive currency. He could be the pawn. I mean, that one stage there was early at Yoe, was the possible pawn to shake up their recruiting and their draft picks in the light. - Rebuild. - Every build. Would you contemplate Tom Barrist being one of those? - No, I wouldn't. I wouldn't. Easy, how old is he now? - 27, mate. - Right now, I wouldn't. I wouldn't. Being blokes, you don't find everywhere. And for someone who's as good as him. - 29 in October. - Yeah. So no, he plays regular footy. He doesn't have injury concerns. Or ongoing injury concerns. No, no, I wouldn't entertain that one. - What were your thoughts? You touched on it earlier. Your thoughts on Patrick Dangerfield having his one week. - I just-- - Ben overturned. - What? - He's free to play. - So my footy head says, my footy heart says, "Great tackle, well done." Grabbed him, stopped him from getting rid of the footy, brought him to ground. That's normal footy years, but we've always known it and seen it. But I look at it now and go, he's really lucky to get off giving, when you look at everyone else who hasn't been afforded that luxury of an appeal and getting off those slings. It wasn't a sling tackle, but it was a head into the ground tackle. I know they're trying to get rid of it. And whether we like it or not, they have to because of litigious reasons and what's hanging over the head at the moment, they have to be seen to be doing everything possible but take players' heads. So in this darn age, I think he's really, really lucky because he brought him down and his head sort of snaps into the ground. And that's exactly what they're trying to get rid of. I mean, he was asked, why didn't you release an arm? Now, was that from someone who's ever played the game? - Yeah. - Well, not only this happens in 1.5 seconds, why didn't you release an arm? Oh, and he actually had an answer. Well, because if I released an arm, I wouldn't have been able to control his body as much as I could control it. Well, that's garbage. You tackle someone. You don't have time to think about that sort of thing. But I don't think... I'm glad he got off for the sake of the game, but I think he's lucky when you look at everyone else. - Form us one and Saint. And now part of the AFL Nation commentary is Dan Hanabry. He's been kind enough to join us thanks to Sonos, multi-room, listening wireless home theatre and a whole lot more, and I think it can experience that game-changing sound this season. With Sonos, Dan, appreciate your time. Good morning. - Good morning, guys. Thanks for having me. - Yes, mate. Just a quick one. Which clubs, and I reckon the two clubs that you played for, plus North Melbourne, will be very keen on a Tom Barris down at Fallback, because I think Sydney, or maybe they've got McCartan and Malekin, but they could do probably. And he's been linked with them before. St. Kilda certainly needed a key position Fallback. And we don't at North Melbourne certainly do. Can you see those street clubs being all over him? - Oh, I can see this one being all over and for sure. He was linked to them in recent times. And he's definitely this sort of player that they love. Obviously, Rams, but he's been a stalwart and still playing really good football. Really thickly, you know, you've probably got two or three, he's left in him. And then McCartan's been outstanding, but he's had some concerning head knocks. And then you've lost the patty McCartan top, so Malekin has been prone to injury. So I think he'd be the absolute perfect fit for Sydney. They didn't defend it, but he can also lock down when we're required. He's an outstanding player. - Same goes for Richmond also. - You imagine him in that side though. You're getting any better? - No. - I mean, see, he does. He's still got three years to run. Are you surprised by this talk, Dan? I mean, West Coast hold the whip hand. He's got three years to run of a current contract. Sam Medman has said this morning on Gary and Tim, we've just played the audio, that his management keen, he's keen to get a two year extension. So that's five years. That'll take him to 34. West Coast don't have to shift on this. - Yeah, for sure. I mean, we've realistically times a change. I mean, with free agency and whatever else, players are now regarded. I mean, obviously contracts and contracts, but regardless, players are now having a little bit more power to move and when players do show an interest to move, I guess it's within the club's interest in a sense to try and help out where possible. I think you've seen that more often although recent times, the can record argument, but partly from the swans, as we were saying, wanted to move in recent times and the swans didn't want that to happen. So clearly clubs will try and keep the play. However, if a club's disgruntled, and a player's disgruntled or he shows an interest to move, these days, clubs and player are trying to work together in more ways than one to make that happen. Now, with West Coast, I guess trying to bounce back from a couple of seasons of poor form, with the players, if you don't want to do everything in their power to keep you. So in the end of the day, it will come and it had definitely come, wants to move. And if he's stripped of him in his management, we'll come to an agreement, you think, with West Coast to try and make the move happen. - Steve from Brooklyn's testing, Hannah's saying three years and you read the old, "If he stays, we'll absorb a lot of cash about it "to secure those future two years." Otherwise, it'll be offered a lot less. - Well, that'd be aware of West Coast. - I think that's what it's more about. It's more about securing the financial security for his player. This is the management securing a deal for his player rather than Tom Barris moving, picking up, shopping and moving anyway. Hey, Hannah's as a ball player, as an under sort of player and a contested ball player that you were, your thoughts on Teddy Dangerfield and him getting, well, escaping his weak ban at the tribunal and the tackle itself. - Yeah, look, it's a really challenging one. Clearly the AFL, they want to stamp that out completely. They want minimal head contact where possible and they want to try and reduce that sort of double action. Now, in this situation, there wasn't so much of a double action. He brute forth, he's a strong guy, tackled him, he pinned the arm in a sense, but there was no double action. And we're talking about split second decisions here. So I guess the question is, and I'm not sure whether they have or not yet, to be honest, but I'd love the AFL to explain exactly what they want Pat Dangerfield to do. Now, I understand they're trying to protect their head. I'm also protecting their head. And as has been mentioned, there's a number of different reasons why the AFL from grassroots to some of the current legal cases that are out against them in regards to head knocks and whatever. You can understand why there is the obsession to protect their head at all costs. And I mean, it grants with it, to be honest. However, there are going to be football actions and football incidents, which are just going to be hard to avoid playing contact sports. So I think the question's going to be, well, the solution's going to be, well, what does the AFL want Patrick Dangerfield to do in this situation? Because there's been another instance this year. I think James Roburnum was going to tackle, I think Sam Durham from Essen had a tackle where very similar motions, very powerful, sort of players in and under, and they kind of didn't really do a double action, but their tackle resulted in the player's head hitting the ground. And I don't think any suspension was given. So it's a really challenging one. Look, look to the naked eye, if I'm going to undergrieve it. However, I understand why they have to implement it because of their hard stance on protecting their head. So it is a really challenging one. Dan Hanabri, our guest, S-E-N AFL Nation expert comment and also former Sydney and part-time security player. Hey, well, because, no, no, because I've been able to get the best of him. I want him to, I want, he was struck down by injury. We didn't get the best of him. Well, he's on the phone, he can ask him to... Before you part-time, isn't it? Yeah, no good, come back, sorry, Dan. I don't think you've had as you direct feedback on what you're trying to do, too. No offense, no offense, however, no offense. Dan, I know you're better than that. Dan, I'm, you know, rusted on Saints fan, and I thought, when we recruited you, you're going to be there for 10 years, and we're going to win a flag with you at the helm in the midfield, and it just didn't work out for me. Or you? No, it didn't work out for Gus, but... Fair enough, fair enough. You selfish thing, Adam, is it? No, you have for Gus. How does I'm on the fan? I'm also a fan of Sydney in what they're doing. I mean, I know you're well-connected to Sydney, and it's a club that's been very special to you for a long period of time. They are the real deal. They're three games clear. Do they get a test from Fremantle this week, knowing that Fremantle won there this time last year? Oh, I think so. I mean, Fremantle have shown, I've all been at the disappointing loss against, you know, the Bulldogs. No note about that. But Fremantle have definitely shown a shear at different stages, both sides of the ball, that they're at top eight sides. That's pretty clear. So, just along with the bike I have a good time, they've already said something. They were feeding at some of their team defence against the Bulldogs, and some of the comments coming out of him were quite extraordinary, really, in regards to players trying to shake positions and almost during 10 points, as opposed to worrying about team first action. So, then for a long time, Fremantle has been a really strong, not that long time, last couple of years, they've been a really strong defensive unit, and they're probably trying to make some adjustments on it. Offense can become that sort of two-sided defense and attacking style aside. But clearly, he had been the informed team. So, you'd expect him to go in favourites at home, but Fremantle have never been at the top eight side this year, and they'll give this one to test, no doubt. Are you playing any footy at all, anywhere at Henness? Erm, I got my first game back this week for the old days in the VAPAs, so, 2pm algorithmic park, it's probably not too long on the flight for you to get over and have a look. (LAUGHTER) Oh, those were the days. Hey, just in regards to that, so where does footy sit in the scheme of a working life? Are you in real estate? Oh, no, not another one. I'm in commercial real estate. I work for a company called Jones Real Estate, so we're in the commercial world, which is... It's good learning a lot, sort of just under a year in there now. And I won't lie to boss Paul Jones. He's not too happy when I'm leaving at 5.5.30. You can get to training on a Tuesday night, we'll go to a few submissions, so... I've had to tell a senior coach, even though I am helping out the coaching staff, I've had to tell them that I can't make it some Tuesday nights, but I guess, erm, yeah, training at 7.7.30 in winter on a Tuesday Thursday, it's certainly nothing but, er... I can't say absolutely nothin', but I'm enjoying it nonetheless. No, no, no, no. It's a much better option of staying in the office doing proposals. My mate here is, well, he's quickly becoming person, number one, real estate go-to agent, to be perfectly honest with you. He doesn't seem to have changed much. It's a real estate game change, too. How many of you still in the bloke, or have you turned into a real land rat? Erm, yeah, look, I try to be a good bloke. I mean, the reality is that his, er, only in the general sense for a long time, is that they're hard to trust real estate agents. So, I think it's important to try and, er, be as honest as possible. You should give that a shot, Cos. He's tiring everyone the same brush. Yeah, I like it. Daniel? I like it. You should try that, too. Well, you know, I'll clip half a percent off for a good person, however, that'd give me a call, er, if you so, so desire. So, let me do the sums here. So, you've got a chance to make millions and die out on the commercial industry or get real estate over there, or get paid naff-all for that in the vaff-a. Mate, you need to go and seek help, because seriously, you ask, this is taking off this real estate stuff, and especially in Melbourne town. It is good fun, though, isn't it, when, yeah, I know you're dealing on the commercial side, but working with people, communicating with people, it is life after footy, or life after any industry is fun, but I think real estate is a good one. You still have the lines of communication. Yeah, definitely. I think, probably six or nine months after I retired, I was sort of a little bit lost, and really struggled both physically and emotionally. I really, really sort of found it quite challenging, that transition. And to be honest with you, I'm obviously, you know, just under a year in, and you still sort of find it challenging, adjusting to real life, because when you're in an industry for an industry like the ASL, for 14 or 15 years, it's amazing. But the reality is, it is not real life. It is so far removed from what the real world is. Yeah, true. Adjusting to that's been a bit of a challenge. But now I'm really enjoying it. Got it for momentum up, and I guess you're probably benefiting more than anyone is it, because of the land tax here in Victoria's quite high. Most of the clients, I want to move into places like your Perth and your Brisbane's, et cetera. Yeah, that said in my way, made her a little commission deal on the side, a little bit of her spotters deal. It's very early, you think. A couple of conjuncturals coming your way. Thank you very much. Look at this. Look at this. Do you think you need more skills in commercial real estate, or in resi? What do you think would be the difference between the two? I think Reggie just speaks for itself for the commercial. We need to have a lot of new ones for the way it go about it, I think. So I'd say commercial Jeff. Good girl. Coria DiOlio, former bomber. He's doing well in big in commercial over here. He's very good, isn't it? He's very, very strong. Anyway, we appreciate your time. So who wins, Sydney or Fremantle? I think Sydney will be too strong, but I reckon Fremantle got there and they'll make it tough for them. Dan Hanabry, you picked up a little commission on the $2.7 million land that he sold in Packingham about two months ago. No, I'm on this. [LAUGHTER] Oh, there's Google's a nasty mission. That's LinkedIn. He promoted it. Ah, good work. Good work. Nice. Hannah, appreciate your time. Are you enjoying the commentary when you get a chance to do some? I'm really enjoying it. So making a picture of SCN and being on the commentary for a few of the games, which, to be honest with you, I completely love. I'm sort of falling in love with footy again after being a little bit bitter post my career, but I'm loving watching footy and talking footy because I really enjoy it. Hey, you're a star, mate. We really appreciate it. You're a star with the AFL career and in post-footy life, all the very best in the real estate journey and also your time here at SCN, mate. We appreciate you coming on. Thanks, guys. There he is. Dan Hanabry. A couple of new drivebys there. I think it's cool. Yeah, we've done it again. [LAUGHTER] He's quite tough. He's a family, too. I know. I know. Keep potting. He won't be coming. You need to clear it. You need to, obviously, be brighter to do commercial real estate than you do. Which is, I don't know. I don't know. But he seems to be pretty out of it. Do you know the difference? Yeah. One's a commercial building. The other one's your house. So one's for business. Yeah. And land. Which, you know, business. You've got to. I'm just trying to educate you, mate. Of course that. But you've got to have a separate license. You can't do both. You've got to have a commercial license and or a real estate. Couldn't. You get a commercial. We just had a license. Yes. By doing a three month course over three and a half years. [LAUGHTER] See, I just think that's unnecessary. I'm asking questions. I'm trying to learn. Could you or not? I wouldn't be able to. Because the person I checked off to get my license has left the industry. 24 by 7. 12.9 degrees. Oh. Editing from top of 19 today. Do you reckon he'll go on next year? He's playing tight, isn't he? Tough? No, shouldn't. That's his signature moment, by the way. That fourth goal in 2021. An Ariara Grande, 31 today. That is on this day, thanks to Baron O'Day because the little moments don't want to miss those because the little things are everything. A popular demand, I mentioned Billy Davis, who is 86 today and he was in fifth dimension. I didn't realise that he married a fellow member of the band, Marilyn McCoo, and they produced this banger in 1977. Oh, and David Duff's getting into the made as well. Here we go. In the name of love. It's coming, huh? ♪ With the love you are ♪ ♪ You don't have to be a star, baby ♪ ♪ To be my show ♪ We come back with some big audio dynamite, please. Six weeks after 8 o'clock. Yeah, but I'd need you guys for the colour, the background colour. Have you got John Hammond in? Yes. Okay, throw this one at you to ask John Hammond, as this, I know a Strata company, a Strata place that runs a group of block of units, who is trying to get a vote through to get the people, the tenants or people who leave it in and the units. If they smoke, that no other smoke can't be smelled by anyone else at any other property. So they're saying you're smoking, so I bet you have to close your windows. This is ludicrous. What is the world coming? Apparently it's a Strata act and they're trying to get force it through. Can you ask John Hammond whether this is true? This is the Strata act, generally? Well, there's a Strata act that they're trying to get the smoke. Well, it's a specific Strata group. There's a Strata group who is apparently going back into the archives of 1977, the Strata act about smoking in public places. Right. And part of them is they want to push this, where they're trying to stop people from smoking inside their own units, if that smoke can be smelled outside at any stage. Well, not to condone violence, but if you went and punched all of them in the nose, they wouldn't be able to smell it. It's not the advice I thought you were going to come with. That's the son of a dark and sheer advice. I'm going to be in the nose so I won't smell it. So anyway, can you ask John Hammond whether that can be forced? I'll send you the clause. It is absolutely ludicrous. There's rank though when it wafts in you. You are in your house. You are in an apartment. In your property. And you are smoking. I reckon you can do whatever you like. You can know how to do it in the other places. It's your house. Yeah, yeah. As much as I don't condone smoking, I'm not a fan of it. And I do, and I've had neighbours that have wafted and gone outside and smoking. You go, "Ah, they're smoking again. What can you do?" You can punch them in the, punch yourself in the nose. What do you got coming up? Well, we will have John Hammond. I'm going to ask you a few questions. I'm going to ask you about the stadium surface, actually. And if someone were to suffer an injury in its current state, given that they have acknowledged that even though it's passed all the tests, apparently, it would be interesting to test. Jaguar Mira spoke about it this morning before seven o'clock. Yes, well, there will be more of that later in the day. Tim, about the stadium surface. Can't say any more than that, but there will be more of that later in the day. All right, look forward to it. What else are you? We also have Scott Sattler on talking about the state of origin too. Lucky to get off. In the current climate, yeah, but you can see Paul's back. He tries to pull him back as they go to ground. I come back to my thought as that is, you're going to have to do this on consequences. If you cause a concussion in a tackle, you're in trouble. And if you don't, you're not. Because we're basing all of this on split second opinion. Let's base it on facts. Was the guy heard or wasn't he? So Walsh wasn't hurt, so therefore he's okay. Same with Chapman here. Same with the swans guy. What's his name? Number eight, the midfielder. Robloth. Robloth. Same with him. They're all okay. Under that Harley reach, probably okay, for what was looked like. A pretty dangerous tackle, but all these opinions on whether he did this, whether he released the arms, if they were hurt, you're in trouble. Mark Duffield in after eight o'clock. When it comes to the origin, it is like, don't care what I say. I don't like you. You don't like us. And it's us versus the world. Reese Walsh, who was absolutely pollacked in the early stages of game one and never saw another minute. Probably didn't see much of the next three or four days. He is on the front page of the Courier Mail up in Brisbane with a big photo of him. Come at me, Blues. I love that stuff. He wants to take him on. Well, absolutely. Well, he hasn't been on the field since that crash from Sully, as we know. And Sully, he was then sent off. So, that's the big thing for me. And as you know, Reese, he's first going back. It's well and good to say it. But I'm sure the kid, he's a pretty tough kid. He's got no fear. But, you know, I'm looking forward to it. Just the scenarios of the game, just the way things have worked out. And you talked about saying things. The two coaches have been at it at each other a bit as well. Michael McGuys, throwing a little bit of mud at Billy Slater. And, of course, they spent time at the Melbourne Storm together when Madras was an assistant coach. So, yeah, it's all a bit of fun. I got sick of the wishy, washy, Brad Bit, the Billy Slater. They're good mates, and they work at Channel 9. At least we've got a bit of mud. Come on, bit of mud in the rough. As interesting as before we go on there, Scottie, is the fact is that Queensland has got the year. It's two because Channel 9 have been using that hit. As part of their promos. And I think that's unnecessary. They shouldn't be using that type of violence to promote the game. Yeah, it's a good point you make, Goss. And I saw that the other day, and I went, "Ooh, ooh." And they stepped over the line, but I think it might be. They like drown that at Melbourne. People letting them know what it's all about, the rugby league, don't they, Scottie? Right. Yeah. They certainly use that solo. You certainly use that, because there's our game. The AFL is getting sanitized to within an inch of its life. They do love the fact because people still love big hits. And as long as they're not cowardly, you know, coward punches, that sort of thing. They do love the big hits. And in origin, there's no rules until, well, this is going to sense you. There's no rules until you break them and get suspended. Leading up to that point, it's like anything goes. And mates versus mate, but as soon as they put on that, our own jumper or the Blues jumper, they just despise each other so much. It's as big as any rivalry. It's as big as any derby, any showdown, any Carlton coin. What it is bigger. And that's exactly it. And I use the word tribalism. And even as supporters, you got mates, you know, they might go for a different club side, but now you're even New South Wales or your Queensland. That's the bottom line. So yeah, and it's all on the line. The bottom line, Queensland come out. We all know sewer league got sent off. New South Wales, played with 12 men. And the amazing thing is they won all the stats. They had more possession, they had more runs. They made less tackles, more missed tackles. But that was the bottom line. New South Wales won every stat by that. Yeah, missed tackles won. But again, management in game one was absolutely atrocious. We know that Nico Hines is gone. He's a benefactor of that. But Mitchell Moses comes in, got a very good kicking game. Mitchell Moses and Dylan Edwards. He was all set to go in game one, but then got injured. They brought back to the SK. So, like the end of the day, it's all in front for New South Wales. They need to win this one. The go to Brisbane in a few weeks, one, one. Queensland, they just do what they normally do. They just sit back, enjoy and watch what, you know, the circus at the New South Wales. People who are the press in particular seem to happen. Yeah, just let them unravel on their own. But I tell you, they love the MCG. So, I've been to a couple of these, you know, state of origin games. It's the sixth time coming up tonight at the MCG. New South Wales are 4-1. So, it surprises me a little bit. I would have thought that Queensland will be better there because, we'll be honest with half of almost three quarters of the Melbourne Storm are Queenslanders. They feel comfortable in Melbourne, but New South Wales got the edge. Well, not an edge. They've got a strong lead. Yeah, they come down. I think it's more of that aspect than you obviously know. You know, the MCG better than anybody. But it's the excitement of playing there, isn't it? You know, you get the opportunity and you walk in and such a synonymous ground. And as you say, you know, 4-1, New South Wales, can they do it tonight? Well, yeah, at the end of the day, there's two sides going to take each other on. I like the New South Wales bench voice. Sometimes you look at the third end of the plane, but it's the fourth and half plane. Well, not starting. And I do like what I see there. I like Connor Watson. He comes into the side. I look forward to it. I think he'll get more minutes. And when you was unbelievable in game one and you look at Queensland, they picked a couple of olds. Well, no disrespect, but they are. Kapushi and Kurt Kapal. More of that defensive type of player. That's what I'm thinking Billy Slade. He's got that one-nil lead. I think he might turn this into a bit of a defensive sort of game. You know, we know how quick they are out wide. The big one, boys. And it is big. But trail Mitchell, back in state of origin, hasn't played for three years to talk. Let's try all this, mate. He's a showman. That's the bottom line. That's a good thing about the kid at the back too. Walsh is a showman as well. So which showman stands up so night will wait and see. But the one big thing with the trail Mitchell, they talk about his attack, is he thinks is what I'll be watching the night because he's a fallback into the centers. You've got to move laterally in the centers, haven't you? So yeah, that's a big one for me. Right. Sully, not as a, you know, a purist of the game. I'd just like to know, it seems as though state of origin selection is often based on reputation rather than form. Have I got that right or wrong? I guess I would have said from before game one, looking at the Queensland side. Yes, because you've got players there who approve and origin players maybe weren't playing club, good club, club, club level. New South Wales on the other hand, Michael Maguire said he was going to pick blokes in form and that's what he's done in particular in this game too. You know, so probably, yeah, on the, on the, but then what are we seeing game one? We saw a Queensland, so I bell homes has been ordering for the Cowboys. All of a sudden he clicked a switch and off he went as well. So there's a little scenario. But if you tried and tested, I think that earned you strikes. I saw for most of us who are uneducated properly. Can you give us your expert eye? What to? You can stop on the word "uneducated". You don't have to say properly. Lots of us don't think good and stuff. I like how to educate it. What's the, give me two things that New South Wales have to do to get back on and level up these series. Two things that we'd be looking for tonight. We can get them over the line. Well, the big one I said was game management. And what I'm made by that is what they do with the footy in that attacking 25, you know, when they're 25 out and controlling that. That's what Mitchell Moses has to do along with Lewis. So that's the big, that's the one thing for me. Queensland scored three, four tries out of their own half in game one. That's where they need to stop Queensland. They can't let them get that second phase play. That's the big thing for me. If Queensland get that second phase play again, they win and win easy. New South Wales have to stop that. Mate, it's going to be massive and really looking forward to it. So you've got a multi for tonight. Have you put something together, self or lead breaks to make it a little bit juicier? Yeah, I've got a lot to a little play. But you can have a little bit on each and get a fair bit of money. So score a tiny time or first try score. Creighton, Stephen Creighton and Angus Creighton, and Jeremiah Nennai from Queensland. So I'm going to play with those three. I'll be linking them up in the old same game multi as we always do. That'll be about 35, 38 bucks, that one. New South Wales won the 12, about $3. But the player, the match, he hasn't been mentioned. And every time he puts on a rep jumper, whether it be for the Kangaroos or New South Wales, he plays unbelieve. I'm going to get Kangaroos at $78, boys. Oh, wow, OK. We'll see those on our socials and your socials as well. State of origin too tonight. Breakfast powered by Kubota. James Sully Salomon, you might get the wash up tomorrow. Have a look at the round ahead as well. Thanks for joining us. A little bonus plus one. Put the invoice in the chair in the mail. Stay safe, boys. Yeah, James Sully Salomon. Breakfast powered by Kubota. Take on any job with Kubota's range of tractors, mowers and utility vehicles. Always great to have Sully on the show. Let's come back and wrap things up on this Wednesday morning. Mark Duffield in after, right?
