Let's talk rugby league, give me a massive crowd, wherever this is going to take place, especially tonight at the MCG. You know what, when it's a big occasion, you're bringing in the big people and you put them in prime time and it's a great mate, Sally, joins us now. Good morning, so it's a big, big, big night. Balaz, Scotty, hello, gosh, I'm excited, I'm excited, we're wrapping it up there. I love it mate, can I ask you, I love, they don't put any punches. When it comes to the origin, it is like, don't care what I say, I don't like you, you don't like us and it's us versus the world. Reece Walsh, who was absolutely pollaxed in the early stages of game one and never saw another minute, probably didn't see much of the next three or four days, he is on the front page of the Courier Mail up in Brisbane with a big photo of him. Come at me, blues, I love that stuff, he wants to take him on. Well, absolutely, well, he hasn't been on the field since that crash from Sue Lea, as we know, and Sue Lea was then sent off, so that's the big thing for me and as you know, Reece, he's first going back, it's well and good to say it, but I'm sure the kid, he's pretty tough kid, he's got no fear, but I'm looking forward to it. Just the scenarios of the game, just the way things have worked out and it's all about saying things. The two coaches have been at ad each other a bit as well, Michael Mcguys throwing a little bit of mud at Billy Slater, and of course they spent time at the Melbourne Storm together when Mads was an assistant coach, so yeah, it's all a bit of fun. I got sick of the wishy washy Brad Bit, the Billy Slater, their good mates and they work at Channel 9. At least we've got a bit of mud, come on, a bit of mud in the rough. It's interesting, just before you go on there Scott, he is the fact is that Queensland has got the year it's two because Channel 9 have been using that hit as part of their promos and I think that's unnecessary, they shouldn't be using that type of violence to promote the game. Yeah, it's a good point you make, gosh. And I saw that the other day and I went, "Ooh, ooh, have they stepped over the line?" I think it might be, they like throwing that at Melbourne, people letting them know what it's all about, the rugby league, don't they, Charlie? Yeah. They certainly use that solo, certainly use that because there's our game, the AFL is getting sanitized to within an inch of it's life, they do love the fact because people still love big hits and as long as they're not cowardly, you know, coward punches, that sort of thing, they do love the big hits and in origin, there's no rules until, well, this is going to essentially, there's no rules until you break them and get suspended, leading up to that point, it's like anything goes and mates versus mate, as soon as they put on their own jumper or the blues jumper, they just despise each other so much as big as any rivalry, as big as any Derby, any showdown, any Carlton Collin, what it is, bigger. Yeah, and that's exactly, and I use the word tribalism and even as supporters, you've got mates, you know, they might go for a different club side but now you're even New South Wales or your Queensland, that's the bottom line so, yeah, and it's all on the line, the bottom line, Queensland come out, we all know sewer league got sent off, New South Wales, five with 12 men and the amazing thing is, they won all the stats, they had more possession, they had more runs, they made less tackles, more missed tackles but that was the bottom line, New South Wales won every stat by that, yeah, missed tackles won, but again management in game one was absolutely atrocious, we know that, Nico Hines is gone, he's a benefactor of that but Mitchell Moses comes in, got a very good kicking game, Mitchell Moses and Dylan Edwards, he was all set to go in game one but then got injured, they brought back to the skys, so, by the end of the day, it's all in front for New South Wales, they need to win this one, they go to Brisbane in a few weeks, one, one, Queensland, I just do what they normally do, they just sit back, enjoy and watch what, you know, the circus at the New South Wales, people who are the pressure in particular seem to happen, yeah, just let them unravel on their own but I tell you, they love the MCG, so I've been to a couple of these, you know, state of origin games, it's the sixth time coming up tonight at the MCG, New South Wales are 4-1, so it surprises me a little bit, I would have thought that Queensland will be better there because, we'll be honest with half of almost three quarters of the Melbourne Storm are Queenslanders, they feel comfortable in Melbourne but New South Wales got the edge, well not an edge, they got a strong lead, yeah, they come down, I think it's more of that aspect and you obviously know, you know, MCG better than anybody but it's the excitement of playing there isn't it, you know, you get the opportunity and you walk in and such a, that's synonymous ground and as you say, you know, 4-1, New South Wales can they do it tonight, well, yeah, the end of the day, there's two sides going to take each other on, I like the New South Wales bench voice, sometimes you look at the third end of the plane but it's the fourth and half plane, well not starting and you, I do like what I see there, I like Connor Watson, he comes into the side, I look forward to, I think we'll get more minutes and Glen you was unbelievable in game one and you look at Queensland, they picked a couple of old, oh, well, no disrespect but they are, Kefushi and Kirk Capel, more of that defensive type of player, that's what I'm thinking Billy Sloade, he's got that one nil lead, I think he might turn this into a bit of a defensive sort of game, you know, we know how quick they are out wide, the big one boys and it is big, Batrell Mitchell, back in state of origin, hasn't played for three years, the talk, let's tell this mate, he's a showman, that's the bottom line, that's a good thing about the kid at the back too, Walsh's a showman as well, so which showman, you know, stands up to night, we'll wait and see but the one big thing with the trail Mitchell, they talk about his attack, he thinks he's what I'll be watching the night because he's a four back into the centres, you've got to move laterally in the centres haven't you? So yeah, that's a big one for me. Sally, not as a, you know, a purist of the game, I'd just like to know, it seems as though state of origin selection is often based on reputation rather than form, have I got that right or wrong? I guess I would have said from before game one, looking at the Queensland side, yes, because you've got players there who have proven, origin players maybe weren't playing good club level, near South Wales on the other hand, Michael McGoey said he was going to pick jokes in form and that's what he's done in particular in this game too, you know, so probably, yeah, on that, but then what have we seen game one, we saw a Queensland side battle home that's been ordering for the Cowboys, all of a sudden he clicked the switch and off he went as well, so there's a little scenario, but if you tried and tested, I think that earned you a strike. All right, so for most of us who are uneducated properly, can you give us your expert eye? We can stop on the word, onions, you can't, you don't have to say properly. Lots of us who don't think good and stuff, well, let's see, give me two things that New South Wales have to do to get back on and level up these series, two things that we'd be looking for tonight, they can get them over the line. Well, the big one I said was game management and what I'm made by that is what they do with the footy in that attacking twenty-five, you know, when they're twenty-five out and controlling that. That's what Mitchell Moses has to do along with Lewis. So that's the big, that's the one thing for me Queensland scored three, four tries out of their own half in game one, that's where they need to stop Queensland, they can't let them get that second phase play, that's the big thing for me, if Queensland get that second phase play again they win and win easy, New South Wales have to stop that. Mate, it's going to be massive and I'm really looking forward to it, so you've got a multi for tonight, have you put something together, self or lead breaks to make it a little bit juicier? Yeah, I've got a lot to a little play, but you can have a little bit on each and get a fair bit of money, so score a tiny time or first try score, Creighton, Stephen Creighton and Angus Creighton and Jeremiah and then I from Queensland, so I'm going to play with those three, I'll be linking that up in the old same game multi, as we always do, that will be about thirty-five, thirty-eight bucks, that one, New South Wales won the twelve, about three dollars, but the play of the match, he hasn't been mentioned and every time he puts on a rep jumper, whether it be for the kangaroos or New South Wales, he plays unbelievable, I'm going to get a kangaroo at seven eight dollars, boys. Wow, okay, we'll see those on our socials and your socials as well, state of origin, tonight, Breakfast Power Bike Abota, James Sully Salomon, you might get the wash up tomorrow and have a look at the round ahead as well, thanks for joining us, a little bonus plus one, put the invoice in the chair in the mail.
