Thanks to Sonos multi-room listening the wireless home theater and more experience game-changing sound this season with Sonos Thirteen twelve fifty five you want to give us a call where you can take zero four eight seven seven three six seven three six Morning's got a lot buddy. How are you four degrees heading for a top of eighteen? You up and about? Yeah So I plowed through that game yesterday here it was Ugly dower just try and dress up ugly. That's a good word. That's good Yeah, I did just what they need to do. Yep free man. Oh, there was still That they throw that up next week and they'll get a hurt against the semi swans We're gonna dissect our winners and losers and our brown low and our premier and our wooden spooners and a rising star shortly If they don't have Alex Piers with an arm injury Well, you know, he would have I don't know where the old putty go for scans today Or they might have gone in last night I think there's a fracture in there was a hyper extension. They almost got to be something that didn't want to first saw the replay it looked like hyper extension of the elbow then he grabbed the arm straight away the ice packs on the forearm. Yeah, I Hate common tailors that go always on the ground. It looks like a knee. It looks like a knee And they's just putting his boot back on I don't want to name names, but It looks like they could be a little fresher in that one. It looks Horrible well no more today. I think for a metal react pretty quick swiftly with the get this and then there's again No, he wasn't he he Chapman tackle. I Was riding from a Chris Clifonus who's working the boundary from what did he say? He said he heard a thud But he wasn't watching he was looking the other Fell off their chair to see behind you I think fine at tops fine at tops. I don't think that was a it's a slim tackle, mate You can't find him first link tackle. Yeah, yeah, you can I Would think not again we go back to that. Let's go for a tad of consistency Please he's heading at the ground. Yeah He was good to Chapman. I thought he was good. He was very good And that's that's what I'm saying if they go to Sydney without Chapman and peers one suspended one injured I have to find something pretty special after throwing a couple of you know surprises in there that takes in the off-guard And Rachel need a toenail reconstruction. Oh he was seeing we've been at the end He was sensational the bloodied to boot was it filled with blood at the end? Good morning. Enjoy your breakfast. Yeah, what about Mike Mike says much more interesting morning boys I had to switch off the free-o game to watch the paint tray. Well, it was tough watch it was tough going It was they did what they had to do just simple as that and I got the job done against the side that was flat as what we have flat were they? as the proverbial Shit guard us out They're flathead if you don't know what I mean Really flathead Justin mom you had this to say in regards to Responding after the big loss to the Bulldogs and oh, I thought Yeah, we've valued the right things speaking about it all week thought out. I locked our contest locked our pressure Thought yeah, mids really responded against a really good midfield. I thought I responded We were able to score from stoppage, which was which was nice Yeah, I thought we defend defended a lot better who's got a little bit of work to do and they challenged us in certain areas, but Yeah Happy with the way now we execute a role Yeah, no doubt about that. Oh great. They're defensive work They absolutely respond to mention a few times in the call but a lot of the times when you talk all week We're gonna do this. We're gonna do this and you don't do it and you look stupid and it Creates a I guess an opportunity for people to really potch it But they responded to what they said they were gonna do. I thought the meds were really really good defensively anti-brosials Defensive work is how you lay they tackles yesterday and they're all good. Why not talk me. I was Absolute brilliant. Talk me a little hit that center bounce at full pace and any just grabbed on with fingernails and then latched on and Turned the ball over. I think Fremen a little girl from that, but they did what they said they were going to do Isn't enough to be Sydney isn't enough to be counting the ways and have to be calling it away You wouldn't think so. They've still got some work to do. There's no doubt about that But they do sit fifth at the moment So I know Essen and a third after the win over West Coast West Coast had their chances They both had the same amount of scoring shots. There was just before three quarter time darling and Oscar Allen both misset shots Which were very reasonable It could they could have almost been in front of three quarter time in the psyche of the game change a bit to like about West Coast yesterday, and they get They'll get Harley Reid back. I'm not convinced. I'll get Tim Kelly Marliss. It's slow. It's a long-terma Really? Yeah, so not great because Harley when Harley Reid needs Tim Kelly. Yeah But they found one in putting Ryan in the middle Mary co I've been calling for to play. Hey, hey I put him up on the wing put him up on the wing that they got close They didn't I think what they did is they didn't want to do exactly what you said straight away And they've just started edging him. They've started edging him from deep up to the high 50 up to high half forward Now they said oh, I think the big fella's right put him on the wing and he was good It was good land right in the middle. Oh, it's the surprising one for me. It's um, he's down forward It's very easily criticized his second efforts and and he's you know If he's got a big high leap on him if he doesn't have the mark No, good, but in the middle of the ground these Works hard might put the arcs. He does he does now. He does when he's in the middle of the ground He's work rates going up. He's done. He's done this little cameo thing for a while I reckon at the peak of his power as he was certainly Thrust into the middle and he'd played sort of deep go down to the back 50 and stuff like that I like the move I'd whether he can play 24/7 through the midfield But he just adds a bit of zip in there just gives him a little bit of an outlet what they need Absolutely, they need some speed in the middle of the critical of you know when you play sheet and gaff in the same team You are lacking speed midfield, so um, I love the fact Yeah, I love the fact this image going that's Flicking few things around let's have a look. Yeah, let's see what we've got it out of suppose Well, it's not about this year's band the next year year after year after and the lemur on one has been very very good Our winners and losers not too far away and after seven o'clock Hamish brayshaw in the studio of course he uh Are you go to gonna be all right because I'm gonna be right the black ducks beat East Perth Yeah, well deservedly, so he looks into the Hamish will find out more Yeah, he was on the pine with a little ice pack on there. Oh, no, and what on the quad. Oh, no Which is the thigh for those who don't know? No, not everyone knows what a quadricep. Do you quadricep? No, actually, you know what really the hardcore footy audience would Most humans know where their quality is. Well, so we could say thigh. Yeah. Yeah, sure. Okay. Thigh muscle You're seeing like an idiot. But anyway, so if we say arm Why is it a bicep tendon? Oh, so where's your bicep? Well, seriously have a look at me I don't know anymore Those are the days Alrighty 13 12 55 0 4 8 7 7 3 6 7 3 6 who are your winners and losers of the weekend? Now this is from Ian Can you name any coach in any sport worldwide that has kept his job when winning only eight of the last 65 and probably not But I also can't name a coach and they're probably sure there has been one. I can't name a coach that over a two year period had 24 players to pick from a list of 44 and had to dig into a lower league To fill their playing stocks two lower leagues and to go to hammos to get their waffle team On the park and and then find players that weren't ready. So thought that Yeah, the numbers are ugly and You can't hide away from that, but There was a dead genuine reason why the last two years and and none of it has actually been Simo's fault. This management was really really poor and that's as an helping him. He's gonna take some responsibility Well, he takes responsibility for the development of the team and their effort each week I think he has to take responsibility for their effort and last year their effort was putrid no doubt about that But the ref of this year has been Much much better and you can see players that are actually getting better So I don't think he's doing a bad job this year at all They've taken away those hundred point losses and I know you've mentioned this before It was six years ago that they won the flag and I know that's just it. Yeah, but again, I wanted to let's go back again And tell me how many current day coaches have won a flag since that time I want there's been uh, damein hard week. There's been uh, damein hard week. There's been sima good one Two great mccray and great mccray Am I missing any? Chris Scott John did you all know? Yeah, they did he's runnin twenty one. That's four Four in six years Yeah, that's okay. That's all right. Yeah, but there's I don't coaches in the corner. I know. I know I know and no just along me or no. No doubt about. I'm just along me or no Ken Henkley. No matthew nicks. No john long my I know Chris fagan. No Chris fagan. No. So if you want to talk about keep going, I understand that but I know well Let's just just just just if your ship gets you some grace. It does Bevo. Look beverages. Correct. There's another one. Thank you. That's a good one. You've got there prior to that and it's Probably one one cart launch into it. Oh, that's right So I'm not in that way. I like it. I know I like it when you're in that mood. I like it. No, but you're right But I did six years a long time. How long did you just I don't I'm not sure why I'm arguing against him Oh, yeah, because I don't think he's done a horrible job and I think this year shows that he can develop a team in a list Um back after the season's imported. Yeah, there's no doubt about it You don't want to be dropping off and and I guess regressing but six years is a long time And it's it's I reckon it's less though. It's less though for a coach and his players Coaches don't need to be able to run and mark and kick and all that sort of stuff It's when you're talking about players though, and they say oh, he's premiership player We gotta do this for him. Oh, you don't post game yesterday. We don't have the grab and that's okay But just the long way we've made comment about Josh Tracy about how where he's developed his game And harlem does say he would be the first picked at the moment. Thank you harlem for your text Now 50 games he's played now. I was watching him yesterday and love him. Oh, I love it now He's and the supporters now. I think they're absolutely right on the Josh Tracy train, but a couple of years ago take it to the bank as your but Take it to the bank That Josh Tracy. Yep was lazy didn't get it didn't understand his role Was a waffle player at best and even then he wasn't playing with the same Verve that was expected and work great and he was challenged and what we're seeing now is what free mandal and Expected of him. Yep, and he's now delivering in spades Hats off to the young man, but it took a long time for the penny to drop But he is a forward and we know there is slow moving at times and then mindset is all now. It's a little bit simple Yeah, I work with one. I can tell you from firsthand Those in the center and those in the back are for the sharp ones. Oh, you're kidding me. No, we are Well, that's ridiculous. Oh, yeah. Anyway, uh, Josh Tracy. Let me just say very good. Josh Tracy's work rate now And everything that he does is as good as nick rewaltz in his day. I'll say that right now Wow, that's a big stage as good as Nick rewaltz and he is doing everything grab 24 chicken McNuggets for 995 get more for your money at makas It's winners and loses time I Who's your monday premiere? Well I've stopped between two But i've gone with Carlton. I've gone with Carlton as the what they did to jolon Was brutal and I don't know I could have gone The other the game after but I think Carlton with the the premise the way they played when you look across the board They were savage. Yeah, they were very good at my Brisbane Yeah, that was the other one And I've been on the Brisbane train for the last three or four weeks thinking they're just something about them Something about them. They're hoping you had it wrong. They're overseas trip and all their deliances and misbehaviors They've all been sorted out. All right. Oh, they look like they're a happy group all of a sudden Oh, there he is. They're free. Yeah, it appears that he's got some freedom about his life and game Anyway, playing good footy. He must have been holding back. All right. So, uh, it's uh, and they were awesome That was awesome. One's playing for me. He's poured out a lot. They were just so bad at home You're in trouble The supporters were marching out the door and the ones that stayed were only stayed so they could let Ken Inglie know what they thought of him They are in big big trouble and they've got a massive response to give against St. Kilda at Marvel You mean you're losing to St. Kilda at Marvel? Yeah, that's a losing to St. Kilda full stop What about Zack Budders? He got to find for the fourth offense Of rough play fourth time he's been and still didn't get suspended fine fine again $10,000 can take the early play of 62 50 he got fined eight and a half about two weeks ago 13 grand Seriously, he's been hitting a hit pocket again the fourth at what stage will the penny drop with the AFL MRO and he'll say you know what serve some time you know what finding someone point 00 0 0 0 1 percent of their salary is not sinking in Let's maybe give him a week now. What do you get? You got 10 grand and you can bring it down to what six Is it right? Six grand he's got in the ashtrabies car. Yeah, no, but just keep it's for the fence Now now Just for the fence the real low hanging fruit is Toby green. Yeah For the fence he has done for his first or second weeks It was his for the fence. He wouldn't play all right. What about your brown line medalist? Brown line. This was Tom DeConing. Did you see his game? Wow? Yeah, yeah, he had 25 touches to him. Crips had 41. So it was a very But Tom DeConing made everyone look amazing and he had uh 25 20 of them contested 70 So 57 clearances a goal and 10 score involvements You are allowed to take it out of the ruck and still get a proper opportunity And that wasn't the rule a few years ago, but they've wound it back So you can take it out of the ruck now Tom gets rid of Sam has a crack of gold and he slocks it How do you like that brother? Right. He's lovely in his voice. Yeah brilliant stuff yet. Tom DeConing certainly he was a brown line medalist. My niece Our man Errol Errol Gordon. Yep Errol Gordon gets 30 possessions. He uses 30 possessions. He's just an outstanding player and we've we've faced a genuine prospect genuine prospect Of the dais the podium of the brown low being all Sydney's ones players now I know they take votes off each other, but there is such a 3-2-1 even spread throughout the year that these three blokes Warner Heaney and Gordon could go 1-2-3 in the brown line medal. Well, do you know who's going to stuff them up? Roboth them he stepped up another world as well. He's the forgotten man. He's the fifth beetle But he's absolutely flying as well Grundy might get a couple bit different spot on the money. That could be a 1-2-3 Not far away. No doubt about that. All right. You're rising star Just this change. Um, well, I struggled a little bit, but I'm going with Thanks. I got a voice there. Oh, you're very well with it. Yeah. Errol worst. Can we do it again? Just for Scott? No, no, no, no. You know the words of the song. He's going into Josh Tracy's spacing right around. Here we go. Okay, please just so we know. Thank you. Because I've got a feeling we're going to be mentioning him again. Yeah, Bruce Revelle Reveal? Reveal? Reveal. Reveal. Two goals, seven and disposals. The Brazilian playing 17 games. 23 I think he isn't. Oh, I'm like coming to that. Spills to ground level that keep fighting for it. They've had a couple of chance in the air. Reveal comes through again on his left. Bouncing shot at goal. Bangs at home. Gee, they had to work hard for it. It's a say. You're right. And he seemed exhausted. Yeah, you know, I thought he was pretty good. Mine was from the Essendon game yesterday versus West Coast. This young boy has been hard to break into a very good team. It's just his second game. But he kicked his first goal. Putting it out forward for the bombers, Draper, the underground handball. He's got Jones running onto it and Jones was with him and then gave it off to Guelphie. Here's Caddy for his first in AFL footy. There it is. Welcome to the big-time young man on the non-preferred, snapped it around the corner and looking at them all get to it. Yeah, they got around him. Nate Caddy. He's our, he's my rising star. So your Monday premiere, you wouldn't spoon your brown on your rising star. Yeah, you can't put on a spoon, put your brown on a ton of the counting thing. It was amazing and rising star, Bruce Revelle. Brisbane of the Monday premiere for me. Port Adelaide of the Spooner. Browno medal is Eric Gordon and the rising star is Nate. We should have a song for you. It's not hard. The boys have got it on tap. Exactly right. They've got it on tap. They've got it right on their finger button right now. What would you pick? I pick Australian Crawl, a bit of Errol. He then got glandular fever, came back and then had an ankle. There for a nine and he struggled. And you bumped your gums, waffling on him about being lazy, etc. You ignored the fact that his debut season, which was 12 months early, his work ethic as a first year rookie pick was outstanding. And I was watching Peel play and I think they were playing soooby, I stand corrected. And I think that five was playing. Isn't it like I'd come back? Yes. And I think Josh Tracy played in that same game. And I was standing on the outer wing. And I looked across the bloke stand next to him. Very similar height. And we just had a chat. He definitely celebrates and gets, when I say excited, enthusiastic and kicks a goal and gets around everybody. He makes his way to other players when they've done well. You can't read it all. I'll read the rest for you. It's not about making headlines. You and Kynan's the whole problem with the media trying to make headlines. Yeah, bloody amoeba. Shut up. That's not him, it's a different bloke. I know. Yeah, but he wanted to be... He can't read it all. He might be in the car together. Darryl from Kingsley's giving us a text in. G'day, Darryl. Of course, should I say, Darryl? Good morning. Just quickly, in relation to Gossage, and Jai, it's amazing what confidence does, because what Gossage is doing is clanking everything, and he's kicking for gold, regardless of the distance. He's kicking right through the ball, whereas I think Jai must need to take a leaf out of Gossage, and not think about so much the distance, but the technique and going right through the ball. Yeah, 100% agree. He's a beautiful kick of the ball. It's Josh Straits here, and this was his day yesterday. Two goals, one with 12 disposals, eight kicks, four hand balls, seven marks, and two tackles. It really was a brown-low-metal lot. Now that he gets it. Now that the penny's dropped, thank you, Darryl. Thank you for your patience, and thank you for your call. It just received a text, breaking news. If I can, please, I'm by before we go to a break. From a very reliable source. Josh Straits is on his way in. Yeah, I hope so. Yeah, anyway. He'd be loving what we were saying. Exactly right. All of this year and half of the last year. Seriously? Hey, don't matter. Seriously, I've got to calm down. No, breathe. Breathe. I'm trying to turn over and you'll leave. Do better. Hand in your media box. Don't worry, it's just around the corner. Hey, just quickly. A reliable source has informed a reliable source of mine that Logan McDonald may have re-signed with the Sydney team last week. But they haven't announced it, which has been interesting. Anyway. Wait for him to get a kick. It's going to break away. Seven in away from seven. 3.8 degrees is getting cooler. Heading for the top of 18 degrees. We go around the country next after seven o'clock. Hamish brachour. Time to go around the country. As we always do in a moment. We go to Sydney and Adelaide. But let's go to Michael Whiting in Queensland. AFL.com.au. Mixed form. Brisbane. They're back. They're coming with a bullet. We saw Gold Coast live. They're flat as a proverbial shit guard as hat. Morning fish. I love that saying golf is not youth often enough. That was ordinary yesterday, the sons. But okay, well, that was Brisbane. That's the positive, right? Three wind in a row. Feels like they're back. That attack that carried them so far in the last few years is back. So mid field humming forwards are converting. So it does feel like they're back. They've got Melbourne and the camera on Friday. And I think they'd win that. And then they can start pushing me to the top eight. And you've got, I know Dan Zorco is speaking this morning. But the big focus this week will be on Will Ashcroft. And whether he returns. Yeah, he will play this week, barring any last minute problems. But they haven't 100% committed on implying AFL. But you don't play a player of that caliber in the VFL, do you? We're running out of the jabber on Friday night. So 12 months after he did ACL against Jelong last year. Another huge boost for Brisbane. But I know he's only a second year player. But he can't underestimate the impact that that young fella has. So so creative forwarder centre. So a huge addition to Brisbane in the behalf of the year. And they've got the the much vaunted Collingwood who are coming with a bullet. And they've even not even near full strength. Good on your fishery. Appreciate your time. We know you've got to get in there for Dan Zorco. Thanks for joining us to do it again next week. Thanks guys. Let's go to Adelaide. We're our great mate, Mike Landjolo. Ruchi isn't going to hear him on the run home with Kimbo and Rooch. Hey, mate, I imagine if the place hasn't been burnt down yet, there's some serious security around Melbourne and over at the moment. Because they'll be coming for Ken. Well, I came for a mental Saturday. The reaction of the fans made it pretty clear. One, by the way, they responded once he was seen on the screen. And two, by the way, they left the game earlier. The remarks that they made when they were hit up by news. Cruz makes it very clear that Paul Adelaide's got a problem. Well, man, the question is how they handle this for the next, well, particularly the next 48 hours of the next two games. So, yeah, there's no doubt now that Paul Adelaide has a real question mark around Ken and Clean, whether he survives even to the end of the season. Well, there's a question then. If it does continue to go down this path, does David Kosh have the pills to actually sack Ken and Clean? Well, I think Scott, what happens now is you look at a game by game. So the next one's been killed and they win that. That's a breather, but it doesn't really end the issue at all. It's the one that probably will be the most interesting one. It's the game of a two in this 48 hours, two weeks, seen that it's the Western Bulldogs. If that goes wrong at home, you would think then, as a board, they would say, right, the decay is clear. It's time to farewell Ken and then give Josh Carr an audition, like they did many years ago with Matthew Primus. But I just think now even Josh Carr's become a bit tainted. If you go to the way the way Paul Adelaide fans are acting in his work, and the way in which the midfield is not delivering, they're not convinced about Josh Carr either. So Paul's got some really big decisions to make over the next two weeks. Brutal stuff and the crows, they're obviously needing to bounce back. They've got the Giants, but it's no fun in games. They've been bearing skittles down at Adelaide either. No, I think Tim Silver has got, as the chairman executive, he was always due to do a reviewer during the midseason break, but it's going to have a fair bit more bite to it now. The expectation is that it will be changed at the end of the year. I don't expect that change to involve Matthew Nix. You would think that once you've, as a board, you've committed to giving them a two-year contract, you hit your wagon with him. So you're not going to, if he goes, you pretty well as a board have to go yourself. So that's not going to happen. What they do is they have to really look at what has been the key issue here all the time, and that is what talent are they giving Matthew Nix to work with, and that's risk management. So where that land at the end of the year, which at the time when you're going into a trade period and also into a draft is very awkward as well. So that's the key issue that I'd like to add, just what changes they make in the key recruiting areas. It's a big week in there, and there's going to be all over it on the run home with Kimbo and Rooch. Michael Enzo Rooch from South Australia joining us. A bit of a follow-up text. Thank you, Rooch, that follow-up from Adam. Look, credit where credit is due. I expected the incredible emotional buffoon to bust out with a semi-abootsie. The outburst you did repeatedly suggest he was at the risk of being let go. It was like you hadn't watched him in the previous season, and someone had just given you a snippet of info. It wasn't a snippet. It was a first-hand information. It was a conversation you'd paint up, and you poured a shed load of mayo and ran with it, and ran with it. Yeah, we did. Oh, he certainly did, and he was playing waffle at the time. Oh, dear, the incredible emotional hulk just reappeared. By the way, why does Simo get the list management free pass when he wanted to keep the game together, Adam? And then he followed up with, "By the way, it's okay to be wrong. Tim," says Adam. Yeah. So fair, Adam, let me just say now, I wasn't there. But the conversation about Josh Tracy two years ago, when it was brought up on, he was, that he, I'm paraphrasing, I'm not going to use the words that the person who's very high up, selecting a team, uses, he doesn't get it yet. He has to work harder. He has to be more professional, and he has to dig in. And he's going well. And you, surely, you're listening to Adam. In the last two years, we've been nothing but praise for Josh Tracy here. Well, Adam, clearly does listen to us. He's a dedicated listener. If you heard me two years ago, he stayed with us. We must be doing something, right? - I don't like you, emotional buffoon. Give us a hug. On Scotty and Goss, it's hammer time. With Hamish Bracial, West Coast Poly complete tank solutions, tanks for agriculture, residential, and industry. West Coast Poly.com.au Are you two, okay? - We're all right. - Yeah, we're all right. - Yeah, okay. - We should be all right in. - Yeah, we're okay. - Okay. So it's... - There's no way I'm going. I'm going to put my water bottle with these swans together. I'll just move. Oh, sorry, I'll move that out of your sight. I was a good gamer, funny, on Saturday, very... - Some districts in East Perth, and it's Perth-led for 99.99% recurring, and the swans got up, the black ducks, and you couldn't get on the text quick enough. - Well, I was excited. I do get excited and emotional, really post-game and real quickly. And then I come. Then I simmer and go. You probably seemed like a bit of a tool, sending you didn't need to send that message. But anyway, it was good. I thought East Perth had snatched it late. - Mm-hmm. - It, um, up steps. Tommy Edwards. - Yeah, up step boy. - Up step the boy, the boys in green, and... - Ahhh! - Oh, yeah, it was a lucky one. - That was a very lucky one. - I mean, we're saying that in the middle, she can't say that. - Ah, well, I'm not going to win it again this year. - I've done a quarter metric on the lake. - He can go and dance when you know I saw that. I saw you on the bench late, with that... I thought I wonder what's wrong with him, and then they panned you, and there's an ice back on the corner. - That's a nasty one. - Yeah, disappointing. I heard it halfway early in the third quarter, and then came off. - Oh, he came going. - Came off, got a rub, thought it was nothing, and then went back out and had to chase some, like up the wing, and was hobbling on a treadmill, and then came off and said, "No, that's, uh, that's no good, "so it'll be, we've got to buy in two weeks, "so I'll probably be post-buy." - So what does that, what does that impede you from doing in loft? - Lots of things. Like I can't put my shoes and socks on without it, like hurting. I can't really get myself into the car without it, sort of straining. You lift your leg up. Can't play golf, unfortunately. But yeah, I sort of lift my leg up to get in the car, because when you sort of lift your shoe up, it's sort of strains right in that area, and it's a bit of a pain. So lots of things you're impeded at the moment. - The good thing for you is your work at Fleet Network now, and Frank doesn't like socks anyway. - Yeah, exactly. - You need to wear pants with no socks. - Pants with just shoes. - Agustino special. - Yeah, putting shoes on still hurts though. - West Coast Poly complete tank solutions, tanks for agriculture, residential and industry. Westcoastpoly.com.au. And fresh from the weekend, our tipping looks like this. Hammer 73. You got four out of six. It hit port. - I should have tipped. - What was I thinking? - You changed, you got up with me. - I know, I know. - You tried to hit personal. - I know I did, it was dumb. - He had Brisbane in each house. - I was really, really hesitant on that port Brisbane game, and pulled the wrong range. - You got five? - Yeah. - He's got five, and I got five. I got North wrong. You and I both got North wrong. - Oh, we should have. We shouldn't have got that wrong. - What was that? - North milk. - They have bad in Melbourne. - Wow. - They're stinking it up right now. What's the telly there? - Oh, so you're the telly? - I'm just done. - I'm too back now. - 73, Hammer 75 Scott. - Oh, yes. - 80, Paul, and 83, the guru. - 83. (laughs) - You're throwing it. That's really important. - I know. - Boy, let's talk about what we can do right here right now, and what's left in the tank for Westcoast polycomplete tank solutions. Let's talk about Melbourne. What's left in the tank? - Nothing. Nothing. Their tank is as bone dry as I've ever seen a tank. Put the tank in the middle of Alice Springs, in the middle of dry season, and leave it there baking. They are cooked. They've got nothing left. They're the worst team in the competition. - Oh, yeah. - And they have got nothing. On field, off field, in field, out field, who cares? They are nowhere at the moment. They're a rabble. They've got no leadership on field. - Stop it. Besides, Max Gorn is a star. And he is it for them at the moment. They look putrid. - No, we don't get you in here to sit on the fence. - No. - Tell us what you think. - Yeah, I'm elving that one. - Yeah, they do. They look-- - No, Rachel. - No, Melbourne. I've set it for about a month now. And they are just proving me right every week. - And obviously, Miss Petrak and they're always going to, but it was very obvious. Really, really, really-- - Yeah, but there are 39 points in front. - Yeah. - And North-- and they were playing North. So North have flipped it. So the previous week, North are 50 odd points in front, and can't hang on. - Yep. - Second week, they come back. They're 39 down, and they're storming it. And have five inside 50 entries in the last-- three minutes and can't get the job done. - Well, they're getting close, North. They're getting close to getting it for four quarters. - Yep. - Aren't they? So is the story North have turned it around and getting better? Is the story that Melbourne, who we expect so much more from, the tank's empty? - A little bit of both. North Melbourne are coming. They're finally getting those younger players that are starting to sort of step up and be better players. They're starting to get more buying and more out of their sort of middle to lower tier players. - You get the feeling that they're going to-- they're going to probably get a couple late in the year and stuff up their draft hand again. - Yeah, which is disappointing. But I feel like they've got a bit of an-- they've got a Melbourne trajectory, a Hawthorne trajectory for mine. They're young, they're budding, and they're just going to, all of a sudden, just-- it'll click, and they've got all these talented, young, first round draft picks that are just going to go bang. But for Melbourne, they just looked-- they looked tired, they looked unfit, and they just looked disinterested in the last 40 minutes of the game. - All righty. Now, earlier in the show, where we had our winners and losers, so we're going to throw this one at you, Stephen May. This happened on the weekend. - Up by Hobbes! - And set up as a dangerous tackle. - So, dangerous tackle, Melbourne. - Stand. - Thank you. - It was a very slow whistle. - Yeah, he-- - More fans, perplexed. - More thoughts, John? - Yeah, it was perplexing for me as well. It wasn't played early. The umpire really held onto it. Didn't make the ball with the motion. It was made. - Didn't make the call when the motion was made, because Stephen May gave it the delayed throw, the header on the ground moment. Renate them buckly spoke this morning. This is what he had to say. - And I actually think that it sits a little bit above. You know, it's on the worst level of staging for me, because of what this rule is there to do. This rule is there to protect players. It's there to protect the head. It's come in as a medical legal reason. It's not there. It's just a rule or a part of the game that is there of how we want it to be played. It's actually about protection of players. And the fact that a teammate of Stephen May's actually has an angiospracial, has left the game because of concussive effects. - So that's Nathan Buckley, and that's talking about your brother Angus, and we know what's happened there. And you've mentioned this several, several times. Does it sadden you to see that type of behavior? I know it's in-game, and they're not thinking about angiospracial when they're doing it. But with hindsight, you look back and we see the award-given up post-game. How does it make you feel? - Well, there's a couple of things that have happened this year with Melbourne that have sort of made me question that whole month of sort of celebrating him. I think two weeks or three weeks afterwards, they tried to get Cozzie Pickett off a jumping head bump. And now Stephen May's thrown his head into the floor to try and get a free kick. I mean, it doesn't necessarily, it doesn't highlight exactly where they're at as a club, I think, but it goes pretty far to show that they're just not playing with a spirit of football anymore. And it's showing on the ground. It's showing on, they're just not, they're not what they were six months ago. And Angus isn't the sole reason, but there's a lot going on there. And for your leader down back to be thrown, he's had to try and get a free kick. And I mean, it goes away to show what the fact of the umpiring is all over the place. And this free kick stuff needs to be sorted pretty quickly, but yeah, it's not a good look. - What did you say to me, you know, before the show this morning, what they should've done was Stephen May's, where an independent should have come in and said, "Well, if you look strungly." - Oh, if you come for 20, get off. - Yeah, let's go ahead. - Let's go ahead. - What did you know, should I say, that'll lune you? - Great idea, get off the ground. - Yeah. - And see if you do that again. You know, he's been fine for staging. So, and will he speak today? I'm not exactly sure. - He goes back to your comments about their leadership though, on ground. Max Gorn put him aside, because he's a terrific leader, but then you've got one of your leaders, you're probably your number one leader down back. - Yeah. - Doing that sort of junk? - Yeah, thank you. - All right. All righty, Adam Simpson had this to say in regards to the West Coast Eagles. I want to get your view on where they're going as a football club, and again, where their tank is at. - Thought we played the right way today, as disappointing as it was, that we didn't win. Some of the things we're chasing were pretty competitive at, with a different look. - Yeah, we've done a few things that we did today, so there's lots of changes that we tried, and maybe too many, but I don't know. I think we saw more about our list today than we had for a while, and some things worked really well, and some things didn't, and the bombers were just too good in the end. - What's left in the tank at West Coast? - I think there's quite a bit, and it's slowly filling up by the looks of things. They're going to get basically a full-strength team in next week, for the first time in what seems like forever. They're going to have Harley and Tim come back, and I think Liam Ryan, going inside, was a really good look. He looked great in there, and I think he's had... I mean, we remember how good he was in 2020, when he was in Australia as a small forward, but he sort of lost that spring and that burst, and within all his injuries, and with the lack of inside 50s, he hasn't really been able to show his talent, and going back inside, he was around the footy, and he was awesome, and I look back down, back, T.B., they were, they've been as good at back two hours, there has been all year, and yes, us and them were too good, and classed them late, but they got within a goal, or something halfway through the fourth quarter, and then it just came to the guys got on top, and Ness and they've heard on the ladder for a reason, they've been playing good football, but I think the tank is slowly filling up for the worst-coast Eagles, and with the full-strength side in next week, Hawthorne are very good, and it's going to be a challenge, but I think this is going to be a cracking game, and at home, you get the boost of up the stadium, there'll be 50,000 people there, and what'll be a full-strength side for the first time in four years, it'll be close. What did you think of Elliott Yo's three-year deal? Do you think you were a believer that there was some concern considering his body dramas, and you know, where's his tank at in regards to his service for the club, the three-year deal? Oh, I think it's not necessarily a hip-jerk reaction, but it's, they've gone, he'll go, it might be 50 games, I think he'll play... Did you say hip-jerk? Yeah, go with knee-jerk. Knee-jerk, that's the one. Yeah, I don't log it. Hip-jerk's the money money. Right up there with the zipper. Hip-jerk's cash, it's all the same. Exactly the same. Exactly the same. You did right. Yeah, anyway, look, I think he'll probably play, it'll be anywhere, it'll be around 50 games over his three years, he'll be, you know, lucky to get out, and if that's the case, that's fine. I think what you get from him, though, is you need a professional around the club, you need a good midfielder that can teach Reid, and Jim B, and Chester, and these guys, and look, it's probably over for a bloke at 30, who's, you know, had his injury troubles, I think what you get, the benefit you get from, yo, he's staying there, is the leadership and the education, and the attention that would go away from some of these young guys, because he's still, you can't leave him alone, he's still an Australian, he's still a, you know, Pestan Ferris winner, he's still a very good player, and on the weekend he dominated, he was very good again, so I think if he can, you know, as long as he can be a positive influence for these younger guys and keep them around, I think the three years will be, you know, worth it. I think they've learned nothing. I think they've learned nothing from the issues of what they, where they find themselves right now. What do you mean by that? Well, then, I agree completely with Hammer, they've absolutely reacted to rumours and innuendo and managers throwing out there that I like to give him three years, and nor is it going to give him this, and someone's going to give him this, and I think they've reacted, they've jumped, they've jumped the shark in a big, big way, because I just, when you look at the history of Alio, and saying, you know, it suggests that he's going to break down again at some stage. I hope he doesn't, you know, I hope he plays 60, nine games of football, whatever it is, a 23 year, no problem, but it's going to be when, I think, they've opened themselves up again for a possible disaster, and I would have thought that after where you find yourselves right now, because of loyalty to premiership players six years ago, and, or wasn't six years ago, when they started restarting these long-term contracts, it got them in this hole, and I think they've opened themselves up for another opportunity to fall in that hole again with the same sort of player who's got a history of soft tissue problems. So, in three years' time, we will look at this, it might be a year's time when we go, I told you so, or it might be a year's time when they say, well, we told you his body was right, and that's why he's played 22 games this year. I think it's risky, I think it's really risky, and I think they've reacted too much to outside noise, and I think yeah, yeah, I don't think yeah, I was going to go anywhere. I think, like I said, let's make it a year-by-year proposition, or a year with a trigger, a year with a trigger, if you hit these targets the way you go. So, you think, and I'm being drawn, honestly, you think the Eagles have been conned? Well, by his manager. It seems that way. I think they're too smart to be conned. They would know, they would know if the offers are genuine, and they've got good intel. Yeah, from where? From the opposition clubs, you know, mate, we're not interested in L.E.E.O. He was never going to go there. There's a lot more going on in L.E.O's life than people... I understand that. Yeah, and I haven't got you, I'm just saying... Yeah. For L.E.E.O, for people to think L.E.E.E.O is just going to get up and go and go and live in to start, live in Geelong and live in Adelaide, for what purpose? I don't think he was going to. Or North Melbourne. No, I don't think he was going to, and unfortunately, for L.E.E. there are issues that he's dealing with in life, and our thoughts go out to him and his family there. But this is a football, this is a business, and unfortunately, you can't make decisions based on what feels good. Yeah. You're going to make tough decisions, and I said, as I said, over the years, where they've put themselves in this whole West Coast. Sure, but I don't get contracts, right? I don't understand them, and I don't pry into them. People say, "Oh, it's a four-year deal at 700,000." I don't know who pushes that, because clubs don't tell you, and managers lie. So bottom line is, my attitude to all of this is, I would think that West Coast have astutely done this contract, where, for what it's worth, and I don't know this, it would be front-ended, where he's right now. It's going to be fairly bolstered. 800, 900. And the back end will be the cheap years, that if he does get a long-term injury or does get injured, then they're not going to be faced with the 800,000-handed gas situation. That's what you're referring to. Yeah, absolutely, absolutely. All right, let's turn to Fremantle. I thought they were good, serviceable yesterday. It was an ugly game, Gold Coast forever, and they can't win on the road. Hey, I'm going to play you this. You've both played at the level, and you've both travelled. This was Paul Hays will be post-game. When we talked about Gold Coast's really poor form on the road, this is Paul Hays will be giving us spin in regards to him as an individual play when he was playing on the road. I was one of them in the early part of my career, Tim, where you go through my home form and match that up against my way form. It was a big drop-off, and when you have too many... Why do you think that is, then, as a player? For me, early on, it was probably just doing things a bit different. The buffet, and this is serious, like you're different eating when you go and stay in a hotel. We used to go two days before, so every meal that you have was a buffet style, and you're bored. You actually really bored and you're drinking more coffee than you normally would because you're just trying to kill time. When you're at home, you don't have to worry about that. And then, look, I'd have my food, and then, all of a sudden... Geez, I'm still... I'd have a bit more. I'd get some fruit salad, some ice cream on the way out, and then I'd give a muffin. It's just different surroundings. It's a great insight, because you're being serious, aren't you? I'm 100% serious, and I'm not the only one to suffer from buffet syndrome. For sure, Enid. It should be buffet syndrome. He's paying on the money. Oh, God, yeah. Absolutely paying on the money. You would... I spoke about this years and years and years ago, too. I'm interested by this. Yeah, no, you know, tell. And it's massive, massive trays of food there, and you stack up your plate and go, "Well, it's all good stuff. I'm eating the right stuff." But you'd eat two kilos more than you had to. And if you're right, you would get some takeaway. And, like mention, you went later on to say that when you go... And then you go out on the ground and you warm up, and he says, "Marvel." And you've said you feel like you're 10 stone heavier. Yeah. You feel that you can feel... Well, I mean, I only played once when I was living in the hub, but when you're away, it's... But when you're in the hub, tell us a bit about it. Well, I was just never playing, because I was just eating the house down. Literally, you just get up, it'd be all these portion meals, and you just get whatever. I knew I wasn't playing. It was when I'd play a scrimmage. Honestly, you'd just eat until you couldn't be bothered doing anything else. So, he said you'd get on the plane... You can eat it, Arvo, now. Yeah, exactly. The club would give you your lunch, you've made lunch from the dietitian, you've given your lunch pack and your water, and you get on the plane, and you eat that, and then Conterswood and Virgin would come down, and then give you more, and you eat that again. Yeah, but surely the clubs have moved on from... Surely, that can't be an issue for the Gold Coast sons. That can't be half the reason. Well, you can still eat that... The buffet set up is still there. Really? The buffet, of course, it is. It's just the dietitian and the football staffs, say to the hotel and the catering team, this is what we want. There's pasta, there's chicken, there's rice, there's beefy. You've got to put off and put a warning sticker up, so you keep the fat tittle on. Yeah. But how many times would you sit there and you'd go through all of that, and you'd eat what you wanted to eat? Yeah, correct. But then you'd sit there and go, "Yeah, hang on a sec. If I stop in love with this, do I have for breakfast on game day at home?" Correct. "Do I have two bowls of cereal, four bits of toast?" "Oh, let's throw a croissant in there." Jelly, no, it's great. I don't think that's their only issue. I don't think Sam Flint is eating the same as Jared Witz. But I just think it's the fact that you've got... You know, it certainly has something to do with it. Your routine is completely changed. You've got no creature comforts at home. You've got a lot of time to kill doing, not a lot. And especially, like for Eastern States teams coming over here, you don't have a client. You don't change the time difference in two days. So you're getting up two hours earlier. All of a sudden, you wake up and it's five o'clock in Perth and you normally wake up at seven, so you're awake. You go down and you eat. You're eating schedules. I mean, it's not the reason they haven't won a game away from home. That's not the sole reason, but it certainly plays a part. It's time, though. I was saying yesterday that Damien had been working on things. And when you're a new coach, you work on blocks and you work on say, right, we've got to get our defensive right, then we've got to get this right. We've got to get our home ground of fortress. He's working in blocks and he hasn't gone to this block yet, and I think they need to get to it quickly. But is it also just as simple as they need to grow up a little bit? Yeah, I think so, too. And for Damien Hardwick, Marvel Stadium is in a way game. So they've got a lot of work to do with their way travel. But it's yeah, you're right. They've got... They're not a young team. They've still got some senior players. But yeah, it's a monkey on the back that needs to be shaken off pretty quick. Do you think it filters through the playing grip? And they'll say that it doesn't. But you know, there's a lot of angst at the moment within the state clubs. And equality in the draw and all of that sort of stuff. Or equity in the draw, not equity, equality. Do you reckon that filters through? Because it's a whole bit of... It can be easily construed as winching from interstate clubs. And... So they're playing hard done by? There's a lot of hard done by the moment. There's a lot of, "Hey, this isn't fair, and this isn't fair." Now, whether that's right or wrong is irrelevant. Does it filter through the playing grip and say, "Oh, hey, yeah, this isn't right." "Oh, we're on the road again." Oh, shouldn't. It shouldn't. You certainly hear about it. And you don't sideways moan and you don't win, but it's certainly there. And you know that it's been talked about. And you sort of, when you have a quiet moment and you think, "Oh, geez, we're going here again." Or, "We're going to Perth three times in a month." It's like, you know, the stuff. But I'm sure that would come in. It should come in cautiously. Honey Pressure was in the studio. West Coast Poly, a complete tank solutions. Tanks for agriculture, residential, industry. West Coast Poly.com.au. What's left in the tank for Fremantle after what we saw yesterday, when they have to now travel on a six-day break to take on the Sydney's ones at the SCG, who are three games clear? This is a tough one. It's glass half full, glass half empty for me. Or tank half empty and tank half full, if you will. They've got a very good side now, I think. They've got a ball, style of ball movement that is unpredictable. And they've got set shot kickers. And they've got in front of goals that are also unpredictable. Their best is very good. I think their best can challenge Sydney even over there. Their worst will lose by 80 points. And it's just whatever you get. Their ball movement, when it's on it, it looks really good. But as soon as any pressure comes, they don't have anything to revert to. And they get 30 looks on goal a week and can kick 20 goals 10, or they can kick eight goals 22. And they're out of games. The last time they played Sydney here, I thought they didn't get comprehensively smashed. But on the scoreboard, it was a 70-point loss or something, because they kicked four goals 19. So it's all about, I think, for them, accuracy in front of goal is a big one, obviously, scoreboard pressure. But they're just their ability to change styles of ball movement and adapt to the style of play, which is going to come from everywhere against Sydney. This is a really difficult question. Our last one for you, Hammer, if we let you go, we appreciate your time. Yep. A listener yesterday who is not a bad contact and seem to have his finger on the pulse, and we was raised during our commentary, mentioned that Andrew's name has been mentioned as part of the trade. Your brother Andrew, part of the trade, if they were to get Chad Warner, if they need to, or if they just trade the first round picks. Andrew played, well, I think he's best going for the year yesterday. I thought I was in three. I thought I was in three. You gave him three. He was absolutely superb. But he didn't always play in the middle. No. He played the first half of the third quarter on the fourth and the fourth line. Yeah. I have to include him in my multi for any time goal kick here. Yeah. Because he had goal all over him from the get-go. Yeah. That was good by the midst. They were very good yesterday hitting the scoreboard, something they haven't done all year. What's your thoughts on that type of chatter about him? And he's at the same situation. He's got one more year to run after this. Someone told me he's got about the same. Oh, he might have two. OK. Oh, actually, you know, he could be up at the end of 2018. Yeah. And we know that, you know, probably Ross Lyon would be looking at him, or, you know, another team somewhere else, or a Melbourne. We won't be Melbourne now after you've carpeted him a couple of times. Yeah. I'll do it again. I'll do it again. The Angus pressure award two, they can say that's it. We're not going to that anymore. Exactly. Thoughts on one the way he played yesterday, and two, that type of chatter. Does it do anyone any favours? Oh, look, I thought it was his best game of the year. I thought he was back to his ball-winning best. He was using the ball well. He was smart with his decisions. Lost a total. Yeah. And he runs. He runs his tackle pressure. The tackle miller was said, so he stopped him dead. He always has been as good as, you know, he runs both ways and he tackles hard. So that was his best game. In terms of the trade talk, I mean, oh, that's the first time hearing of it. It's chatter. It's chatter. It doesn't really do it. I mean, he wouldn't read too much into it. I don't think I'm reading too much into it. Look, if they're going to get rid of him to get Chad Warner, Chad Warner's a better player than him at the moment, and he's as good a player as there is in the comp. So do whatever you can to get him. But also don't forget that Andrew was the best player two years ago. And he's your vice captain. And he's, you know, he's a big part of what he's driving that club forward. So I would be, you know, I'd be very surprised if he was included in the deal to get to get Warner. Play with that. He's big toe now and didn't kick the ball in the last 15 minutes to try and stop the soreness. Oh, yeah. There you go. That's why he's limping. I thought I saw him limping. I thought, well, what's he got wrong with it? It's all to do with a toe now. Oh, no. Oh, no. He's boot. That's such an ordinary toe now, ingrown toe now. How does it happen? It's, I don't know. You get stood on. I've lost a toe now playing footy before. I've had an ingrown toe now before playing footy. And you literally, it's honestly, it's as bad a feeling as you can get because you walk around thinking, geez, I'm a sore block. Yeah, you're not missing a guy. I'm not missing a guy for this. This is nothing, but you just can't run properly. You can't walk every time you move at it. West Coast Poly complete tank solutions, tanks for agriculture, residential and industry. West Coast Poly.com.au, plenty left in the tank. We appreciate you coming. Good luck with your injury. Thank you very much. Thank you. And bad luck to the Royals who are on very shaky ground after looking like that. Well, opened up to be perfectly honest. Ah, that was a good game of footy. Very good game of football. Scotty and Gus have a ratio in the studio each and every Monday. 25 away from eight. 3.8 degrees, heading for top of 18. Breakfast power by Kubota. Take on any job with the Kubota's range of tractors, moas and utility vehicles. And a spare I thought for all those who are sitting out on one of those right now. It's a little bit chilly. Shelly, Mark Duffy has just walked into the studio. He comes in after eight o'clock hours a weekend. Yeah, full of footy. How'd you go yesterday? You go back to back? Well, I had to cover the Eagles game, which I did off the telly. And then I was trying to keep an eye on the '18s as well. And then I watched, actually watched the Fremantle game on replay. Actually, after that. Which, as a Fremantle supporter, is a better way to watch it. How much did you get through? Where did they start losing you? If I threw the third? No, no. I kind of braved it. Yeah. I think the thing with Fremantle is that, and they need to realise this because without realising this, they're not going to realise what's possible. They just need to clean up the unforced errors. To use a tennis term, the unforced errors. You know, and they keep on giving teams a pulse with unforced errors. The early misses, you know, Jaimus continues to walk in and swing his leg at it and think that's going to work. Sam Sturt, who's supposed to be their clinical forward. What was that in the... was it the third quarter or the second quarter? Second. The grabber? He's a beautiful drop partner. Should have handled that to Jaimus. Well, just kick the goal. Yeah, and run it and kick it properly. Just kick the goal. Yeah, and Tracy done all the hard work. Yeah. That was so good. Yeah, we love Tracy. Even Andy Bradshaw, who's probably close to best on ground. The last quarter turnover, where he misses his team made by 10 metres and kicks it to a... Yeah, saw toe. Oh, had a saw toe. Toe now. Ripped off. Right. And saw foot. That's 15 minutes dinky to the ball. Yeah. Well, after that he shouldn't. That's what I mean. That's what he was. Did we keep talking about Fife? Or is there no point talking about him because there's nothing to do with him about him? Well, I think the thing with Fife is that he's either part of a functional midfielder or he's not. Now, yesterday for most of the game he was. It plays his role. He was perfect. He was okay yesterday. He cannot hit a target. But he's still... If you're talking about turnovers, costly turnovers, he cannot hit a target. But what he brings to the team is a great foil for young Sarong and Bradshaw. It just is Scott. No. I disagree. I disagree. I think he brings a lot more people to table with bad kicking. When you've got players that are going to walk out of your club at the end of the year, when Will Brody walks out, I think he's going to get more from Erasmus or more from Brody. You're not going to get Fife, but they're never going to drop him. So that's why I asked the question. He's not going to be out anymore or not. I'm sure. What did you make a West Coast? I thought they're okay. Yeah. Can that be worth on here? Yeah, I think they can. Hawthorne off the buy. Off the buy seems a bad thing. What is it a good? I know. I know. It's spunky to watch. I'm not saying they will, but I think they can. Read back probably not Kelly from what we're hearing. Kelly may be a little way away yet, but yeah, they're okay. But I didn't like the fact, well, Essen and kick 19, 10 from the back half. That has to be looked at. Yeah, they did. And can Free Man or Beat Sydney Insights? Oh, you'd think not, but they beat him there last year. Realest Free Man or last year beat Sydney and Sydney. Geelong and Geelong and Melbourne at the MCG and missed the finals. If you'd have said that a team could do that. Yeah. It was here. It was here where they were terrible. Exactly. Five out of 12 here. Yeah, it's a gap between you. Good and your bad is massive. Well, probably says take care of your home ground advantage. What do you got coming up after eight? And are you going to talk about Stephen May? Because it's been the hot topic that we had earlier. How much bracial mentioned it? I think Stephen May had to be suspended for that act. I've never seen, I know that players are milking that a little bit, but I've never seen anything more blatant than that. And given that players are being suspended for dangerous tackles, which is a football act, which goes wrong, if you're allowing a player to get away with milking it the way May did, as blatantly as he did, you're not serving the game well. Had to be a suspension for mine. And an independent doctor, as Scotty and I discussed earlier, an independent doctor would have said, "Oh, if you take 20 in the HIV." Yeah, you see how many people are going to keep milking it then. Exactly, exactly. But if you give them two weeks, the coach will say to every coach will say to every player, "Do not do that." What do you got after eight? So, Eliza Riley to talk about Fremantle and West Coast, and Dan Churney to talk about the Afghanistan T20 team role in the Aussie. We've refused to discuss it, because it didn't happen. I didn't see it, it didn't happen. Well, this is the other thing. Prime, the prime deal. We've only made your cricket country to not have this on... It's a good deal, though. I mean, the prime have done... The prime are amazing. They've done an amazing job. Prime. So, thanks. But you can sort of watch it, you know, it's slightly exclusive and they've done a great job. Yeah. And that's the way of the world now, but you can get 30 days free. Yes, I know. All right, let me just spank the truck right there. Thanks, mate. We've lost to Afghanistan. Yeah, that's the hard part. Yes, I know. Anyway, Mark Guffield in after eight o'clock, always love his show. If you want to give him a call, 13-12-15-20-8-7-7-3-6-7-3-6. Our winners and losers, we'll be coming up next. Yeah, a bit of time. Yeah, we help them over. We've had a bit going on. Well, not one that's a... It's only a little controversial, could make me look like a really average bloke. I've got a couple as well. I think yours might take the cake. 3.8 degrees heading for eight-eight degrees. I don't know if I'll go with it or not. 19 away from eight. It's a chilly morning this morning. Stay warm and stay with us, because we'll be back after the break. Just about an hour and a half out of its normal spot. But we'll go with it anyway, because we've got a busy, busy, busy winners and losers for the week. 20 minutes reading Adam's text. Yeah, well, speaking of Adam, Adam, so let's go back. April 17, S-E-N-W-A. You were talking with Josh Tracy. You probably weren't aware at that stage of how much work you had to do to play regular AFL football. Was that a fair assessment of your career so far? Yeah, absolutely. I think it was just part of the experience that I had to find out. You could argue that I learned the hard way a little bit, and I'm still working hard at it to figure it all out. But yeah, it certainly was a big movement of my career so far. When was the moment for you, mate, that it twigged that you said, right, I've got to build my tank. I've got to get up the ground. I've got to get back down the ground. I've got to work my backside offy. Always knew that that was what I had to do. But it was probably the little things during the wake, during the off-season, just sort of accumulated to me being able to execute in that moment. So it was more than just rocking up at training and making sure I was eating the right things, doing all the right stuff. Yeah. We just parked that there. We just parked that there. So to Adam and everyone who thinks we're on his case. I weren't having a crack at me. There is an admission. There's an admission that was not working hard enough at his game. And now he is. And now the pennies dropped and we're seeing the benefits. Everyone is happy. You heard that. Was it April 17 on Scotty and the Amoeba for breakfast? Hey. Hey. Look, it's going to be a bit random here. Now we've got some winners and losers. You've got one that you're not happy with. You can go loser if you want. No, I'm going to win a first. The MRO for finding Stephen May for staging. They're absolute winners. And then it's straightaway puts into my first loser category is Stephen May. I was ordinary and I want to be honest with your pissball. And as Hammer said as well, they're bereft of leaders at the moment. And that is as far from a leader as you will find. Mine is a poster I put in on socials. 28,000 MCG between two Victorian teams. This winner is a loser. Losers and winners because I felt really good about it. And the losers. I'm a winner. That's a lot. I don't even understand. As far as you're having a comment of the crowd of Melbourne. 8,000 Melbourne North Melbourne standalone game MCG. And I had people telling me, did you know it's winter over here? Really? Apparently that's when the game's played. Right? One person said that there was two Jerry Seinfeld shows on. Oh, that'll. Where were they being played? I have no idea. But apparently it was a competition. That was a competition. Right. So had a lot of people telling me that I'd got it wrong and then they turned it around. Oh, what about the cricket crowds in Perth? Oh, I was just talking about the lake crowd. Well, I did some sums. The smallest crowd involving two Victorian teams at the MCG since COVID. Yep. And I know this low drawing crowds. But I don't know if you know what my point is here at North Melbourne. Yeah. Right? Why are they playing at the MCG? Because I'm sorry, that would be some MCC members. There's 100,000 members between the two clubs. So that's excluding fans who just walked up and paid for a ticket to go to it as well. Yep. It's terrific. And don't try and justify it otherwise. Yeah, no, that's a poor turnout. People telling me that it's cold in Melbourne at this time of year and that's why people didn't go. I am sorry that the last time I checked the game is played at this time every year. And let me just check the... hang on a second, there were how many people at... 40,000. There were 75,000 at Friday night. And I'm 100% for all that. Yeah. But they're saying, "Oh, you didn't mention the 92,000." But that's not my point. My point is where was the crowd on Saturday? It wasn't winter on Friday. It's really five. Yeah. It's your mate, Ralph. Oh, it's... Hey, you leave my little later. Ah, you speak a little. He's one of those five foot five. He's an angry little Melbourne supporter. Next. Another winner for me. And I wrote these down, obviously, last night when we sent them all in. We were Josh Tracy. He's an absolute winner. I've got bulldozer. Yeah. He's marking. There was a point in the game yesterday. It's not game-changing, but he took a mark in a contest on a lead, but took a strong grab about 10 meters out of Gold Coast 50. If he drops that mark, like most of them would have, it goes out as a ball up 60 meters out of Gold Coast Gold. He takes a mark, he pumps at 50 down the line. All of a sudden, there's 50 meters gained and they're out of a danger zone. Just little things like that, but he's a bulldozer. He's tackling the one that heard you got a stinger on the elbow that you tackled. Yeah, there was a sex in the tackle. He's marking his tackling, and he's possibly, he's possibly, arguably, the best kick in the free mental team. I don't mean for Gold. Yeah. For Gold, yes. Round the grid. But he'll be kicking in the middle. He's possibly the best kick in the whole time in the moment. Yeah, he was on my win. He's never been on my losers. This has always been on my win. No, one more. The Eagles banner. Can I give you the Eagles banner? Loved it. No, I had that on mine. It's up here. The Eagles banner. I said, "We're ready to kick Mark, tackle and pass." And by the way, we flew business class. I love it. I love that. Well done. West Coast. Let's give that the big tick. Just taking the piss. I like it. And I'm giving this one. One of my losers for the weekend was Laurie Daly. Now, Superstar. New South Wales Rugby League, Superstar, Canberra Rugby League, Superstar, Media Superstar. He does some odd segment on the catch with the John's, Maddy John's or Andrew John's, Maddy John's Show, whatever it is. He was sitting down doing the odds between the New South Wales and Queensland Women's State of Origin team. Have a listen to this. He cooked it completely. Have a listen. Can you dissect what he's talking about? Here's Laurie Daly. That's why I was obviously going to have to trouble up dude, North Queensland. There are $1.77 outsiders with Queensland. Sorry. New South Wales, $1.77 favourites, Queensland. Sorry. I'll start that again. I'll start that again. Queensland. The favourites are $2.05. New South Wales are the underdog. The underdog. I'm not sure how this is going to sit. I don't know if I'm being a really ordinary human being or not. All Curtis is carrying his real infant child. Beautiful kid. Oh, you don't know that. You should have a kid. That's so beautiful. Beautiful. Lovely kid. Carrying his kid who's, you know, was six months old? Maybe six months old. I didn't know what he was going on. Probably petrified. Yeah. He's out of the boy with him, too. I think he carried his kid through the... It's three year old boys, through the race and onto the ground for his 50th. Yeah, we're in the catch. I said to Harley. I said, "Mate, can you Google call Curtis?" "No, he's there. "He's 100th. "I've missed like 50th. "No, he's 50th." He said he's played 49 games when I know. I know. Now, is that a crap take or not? No, because someone asked me... I think it might have even been Roy. No, crap take by me. No, I get it. No. No, yeah, it is. I noticed a little down the line and you say, "Hey, mate, I know you didn't know, "but you were there with me almost 50th game." Yeah, yeah. The boy would have said, "Was I there for your 100th?" He went, "I didn't buy a 100th." (LAUGHTER) He's getting quicker at it. You've got to take the opportunities when that comes. Don't know if I've earned a crap blow. Our listeners will tell me. I'm sure Stephen Hill ran through a banner at Fremantle for 50 Games. I absolutely do think he did. No. I'm telling you, mate, 50 Games is important to many. That's a crap take, mate. That's an ordinary... That is a whack for Paul Curtis and his whole family and the Curtis family. I know it made a lie. I'm asking the question. That's in the Johnny Fokken and the whole Fokken family. I'm asking the question. I'm a crap blow. A crap blow. A crap blow. 100% and I'm an amoeba. Well done, Chris. Well done, Griff. (dramatic music)
