I Believe God Is My Healer! Why Am I Still Sick? God’s word doesn’t change, it is yes and amen. By His stripes you are healed. Isaiah 53:5 If you’re sick in your body, don’t ask why God has not healed you, but what are you doing to stop the blessing? We must put the responsibility on ourselves and not on God. Ownership! When someone gets saved but then returns to the world, you don’t wonder why God did not save them? You don’t say “Well maybe it’s not their time to be save?” You don’t say, “Well we just don’t know the will of God regarding salvation.” We know that they must confess with their mouth and believe in their hearts. “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9 They stopped believing! The problem remains with them. The responsibility for salvation remains with the individual, just as the responsibility for healing does.
