Our God is not a genie in a bottle. We don’t rub the bottle and miraculously He comes through for us. Healing is our portion that is true biblically. But taking care of this temple is our responsibility. If we neglect our responsibility, we cannot blame God when we don’t see the Word of God manifest in our prayers.

Take care of your temple. Don’t neglect the practical things and only quote the scripture.

Eat right, get sleep, drink water, exercise, live within your means, don’t overspend, have a budget and stick to it, don’t rob God, pay your tithes, guard your heart, guard your thoughts, say “I’m sorry" to those you hurt, bridge gaps, value the relationships God has given you. Live this scripture:

Matthew 22:37 & 38 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.

What we don’t know can destroy us. What we do or don’t do can destroy us. In Hosea 4:6 the people did not simply lack knowledge, they rejected it. That’s active sin against God.

The Bible teaches that we should be whole, mind, body and spirit. You can’t neglect your mind and only work on your body. You can’t neglect your body and only strengthen your spirit. If we neglect this temple, we can’t blame God or say, “Well, I guess it wasn’t His will for me to heal.”
