Disappointment Keeps You from Your Appointment

The Road to Emmaus – Luke 24

Failure to recognize truth left them spiritually dull. Spiritual dullness is a result of having a lack of wisdom.

Wisdom comes from the fear of the Lord. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

The tomb was empty. They could not see Jesus, although He was standing beside them.

Jesus walked up beside them and spoke with them, yet their disappointment kept them blind and disillusioned to reality – God’s reality.

Disappointment keeps you from your appointed time.
