Is Your House Blessed? – The Blessing of Obed-Edom The double doors have opened, and the corporate blessing has been released.

Obed-Edom valued the presence of the Lord. The Ark of the Lord remained in his house. 2 Samuel 6:11 Obed-Edom was a servant of God who understood honoring the presence of God.

Obed-Edom was a servant of God. He served. He worked, joyfully. Matt. 20:26 whoever desires to become great among you, let him serve. He was a Levite and a Gittite who kept the Ark after Uzzah was slain by God for touching the Ark while it was being taken to Jerusalem. A Levite was a member of the tribe of Levi, one who assisted the priests in worship. A Gittite was a worshiper, a minstrel.

But blessed are those who keep His Word and do His will.

Because OBED-EDOM valued the Ark of the God (a picture of Jesus) God blessed him with many sons that where men of great ability and able men with strength for the work.

Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and it adds no sorrow to it.

Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.
