Isa. 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Loyalty to Christ above all else Matthew 10:34-39 Jesus did not come to bring peace on earth but a sword. He said, I’ve come to set man against his father, daughter against her mother and daughter in law against her mother-in-law. A man’s enemies will be those of his own household. God is for families as He created them. When family keeps you from your loyalty to Christ division occurs. The only true peace is the peace in Christ. Apart from Christ there is no peace. As times get darker more division will be evident. Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood you have no life in you. John 6:53, 60, 61-68 This is a hard saying – Does this offend you? Many disciples walked away. John 6:66 There will be religious deceptions, social and political upheavals, natural calamities, disloyalties, and persecution but all these must happen before Christ’s return. But the end is not yet. We must continue in preaching the gospel, fulfill your ministry. Matt. 24:3-6 Offense will abound in the last days. Matt. 24: 12 & 13 Lawlessness is sin, Offence is sin Matthew 24:7-14 Behold I am coming like a thief. Rev. 16:15 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Matt. 28:19 Understand the times-continue to preach the gospel The world needs to know there is a God, His name is Jesus Christ. He will save people from their sin and is waiting for their “Yes.” Serving the Lord may cost you more than it ever has – but are you willing to lay your life down? Are you willing to pick up your cross and follow Him? Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning (ignoring) its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
