Your Pain Has a Purpose

Your Pain Has a Purpose; From Pain to Prosperity

I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, but now my eyes see You. Therefore, I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes. Job 42:5 & 6

Until Job had a personal revelation of who God was, he remained stuck in his self-righteous pride, knowing about the Lord, but never truly knowing Him.

In Job 1:1, we read Job was blameless and upright, feared God and shunned evil. But when adversity hit his household, it revealed what level of commitment he had to the Lord.

Job was out to prove he was self-righteous and blameless, but he was deceived and full of pride.

Pressures in life will reveal what you really believe and the level of commitment you really have to the Lord.

The integrity of your faith is not revealed until you are surrounded by trials and yet remain truly humble.

After a strong rebuke from the Lord Job repented and said, “I have uttered what I did not understand. Things to wonderful for me, which I did not know.” Job 42:3

Only having 2nd hand knowledge of who God is, keeps you distant from experiencing the true heart of our Heavenly Father. Which is why it is so important to not only teach our loved ones about the Lord, but help them to experience God by revealing His love to them in every circumstance.

God is after your heart.

Are you after His?

You are only as deep in your walk as your experience can carry you.
