Prayer Leads to Boldness

Prayer Leads to Boldness

Boldness is necessary to bring freedom to the darkness all around. Acts 4:13 Our boldness comes from Jesus. Faith and intimacy lead to boldness.

Boldness: strong, courageous, and brave

  1. Prov. 28:1 The wicked flee though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.
  2. Josh. 1:9 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
  3. Eph. 6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.

Boldness manifests in your life when you’ve been with Jesus. • Acts 3:1-8 Peter, and John went to the hour of prayer • The hour of prayer is a reference to our heart interaction with God for we know we are to pray without ceasing. • Eph. 6:18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. • 1 Thess. 5:16-18 Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Transformation happens during prayer Luke 9:28 & 29 Jesus was transformed talking to God (the glory of God was upon Him) Your countenance changes when you pray. His glory shines upon you! Boldness arises from a life hidden in prayer. In our world of darkness, confusion and evil you need boldness, strength, courage and bravery that a walk of prayer supernaturally gives.

Peter had to make this transition from a double minded man to a bold warrior who spoke to 3000 and they were saved. But he needed to be changed by the power of prayer first.
