Pushed by a Demon

Pushed by a Demon

During a glorious worship service, a demon showed up. What happened? There was so much glory in the room. How could a demon show up?

If you are asking this question, or if you have ever asked this question, I want to share with you what the Bible says about this.

At our Saturday night service, a girl in a wheelchair was receiving prayer when her mom standing beside her hit the ground hard. She was pushed to the floor, and it was not the Holy Spirit. A demon pushed her.

No one was praying for her.

If there is a demon in the presence of the anointing it will get nervous and start manifesting. Many times, demons manifest with noise, shaking, growling, falling, laughing, even praying in tongues. Discernment is needed to distinguish what spirit is working.

But how could that demon have been allowed in the presence of God? Remember when Jesus came from the Mount of Transfiguration where the glory was so thick even Elijah and Moses appeared and talked with Jesus. Mark 9:2,3 & 7 In vs. 14 the father said, “Teacher, I brought You my son who has a mute spirit” vs.18 whenever the demon spirit wills it causes the boy to manifest. vs. 20 When the spirit saw Jesus, the boy fell to the ground.

The demon showed up to cause a distraction and stop the little boy from getting free. Jesus commanded the spirit to leave the boy and again it manifested on the way out. vs. 26 The spirit started manifesting and threw the boy to the floor right in the presence of the Holy One. Jesus took authority.

When you are in the midst of a glorious worship encounter and you feel His pure joy, stand firm and against that which is not holy.

It was revealed to us on that Saturday night that the mom had a spirit of death on her life, and it was being passed down to her children. The demon pushed the mom out of the way to cause a distraction to try and stop the girl from getting healed and delivered.

Demons do show up at church and even during glorious worship times. We must be on alert and stand at attention and not allow them to manifest but to cast them out.

James 4:7 Submit to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you

Jesus disarmed demons on the cross and we are to stand at attention and not be surprised when they show up.
