In Christ, you are the light of the world, your obedience is your strength. “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.” Matt. 5:14

The “I Will” is NO Match for the “I Am!” Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty!

Darkness cannot overcome the light! John 1:5 “the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.”

Comprehend: Seize, lay hold of, overcome it - Darkness cannot understand you!

To the Christian, light is not only greater than darkness, but outlasts it and overcomes it!

Jesus said, “No one takes My life, I lay it down.” Jesus, the Light of the world, in His obedience was His strength. “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness but have the light of life.” John 8:12

The devil cannot handle your obedience because you represent Christ to him, and Jesus publicly shamed the devil at the cross. When the devil sees you, he knows you represent the one who brought him to shame! “Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.” Col. 2:15

When you speak your identity in Christ, the devil cannot tell who you are from who Jesus is!

Because you have been grafted in! You have been raised up with Christ! You carry His name, His identity, His authority!
