Money Can’t Buy the Anointing! Simon offered money to receive the power of the Holy Spirit. Acts 8:13-23 Peter said to him, “Your money perishes with you, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money!” “You have neither part nor portion in this matter, for your heart is not right in the sight of God. Repent therefore of this your wickedness and pray God if perhaps the thoughts of your heart may be forgiven you. For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity.”

Don’t be deceived. It is never the will of God for you to pay to receive an anointing, a gift, or the power of the Holy Spirit, the or a special anointing.

1 John 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
