Not Of Works
I don't know, I never know which way to go, other than following the Lord, and it just seemed like we've had just a few thoughts that we can't get away from and sort of seemed jumbled with the thoughts I had, it just seemed like the Lord had me in several different places and tried to put our thoughts together before he'd have us to go, but I want to start maybe over in the book of Ephesians, and in the second chapter a lot of maybe what would be touching on it for the Lord, the loudest preacher, however far we go with this, it's no doubt famous familiar unto us, but it's just some things the Lord had on our heart for this morning, but maybe we'll read down in the second chapter of the book of Ephesians, and I ain't going to read many verses here, just maybe the eighth verse, and maybe the ninth or so there, but he says, "For by grace ye are saved through faith and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast, and had that on our heart as we've got to study on some other things, seemed like the Lord kept bringing us back around to that, had that we were saved by grace through faith, and it's not of our works, Julian, otherwise we could boast in it, and I say it'll take the Lord and tireless together, but seemed like all week this week, I've thought a lot about Ahab over there in King's, and thought about, and he was walking to a choir in a ballop of men, and you say, "Well, praise your aids, does this go, that'll even sound like it goes together, well, let's just wait on the Lord before we decide." But I thought about that, as I thought about how that we're saved by this grace through faith, and it's not of our works, and I thought a lot of times we come to the house of God, and how that there's a lot of people that wants to obtain the things of God, they want to be Christians, they want to live right, they want to do things good, and I thought about that, as I said, about Ahab, and you know, Ahab's finger was close to him, it was near to the bottom set, and if they, he looked after and honestly, he saw all of that man in my fingers, and he saw that Ahab, that it was fruitful, and how good it was, and how well kept it was, and he desired to have that finger, so much so that he went out, and he told Ahab, he said, "You know, I want your fingers," he tried to buy that finger from him, and as I got to thinking about those things a little bit, I thought about how the times of the world will look at the people of God, and they can see the peace of our lives when we go through our trials, and see how the Lord delivers you, they can see a happiness down in your soul, and in your life, a lot of times, they can make up the desire to have what you've got, they can desire to know what it's like to have something that's like that in their lives, but see the whole time that Ahab is looking at the Ahab's fingers, and he wants to acquire that beautiful man, so he can change it to what he wanted it to be, and that's the way a lot of times, sure, that people wants to have what the church has got, that they want that peace in knowing that they've got a home in Heaven, they want that peace in knowing that when they die, everything's going to be all right, they want the beauty of the peace of having a Christian life, but when they want to have painted on their own turn, and they want to change it to where it will fit what they want to be, and I won't tell you what happens when you do that, if they have, when he went after that, if they thought it was just to give him what he had, and they didn't have it, and do what he wanted with it, he were moving the heritage of that man. By pivoting any change in that man, you're to a place of herbs, and things he was going to do away with what he always was, and what I always made it beautiful. That's what people want to come down to the church, and those who want to change everybody, from what's truly made God's people beautiful us, they want to take, and they want to make it into their own little herb garden, the way that they can enjoy whatever they want to in their life, and not have to be what the heritage of that place is. I think seeing it through this morning, but the Bible teaches us that we're placed by a breakthrough faith, and there's no works lest any man should boast. I'm glad this is not of anything that I could have done to obtain. I couldn't buy a list, so he wanted to purchase that, he didn't see no leaves that he couldn't have. With how he did it, he called it, was talking about some things I heard, and it happened with Jay, he worked with these people that were supposed to be being hired, and when they want something they just say I want it, and they can just buy it. I think it's due. I don't care. Jay, this is how they have this man to spend $200 or just to have something ready for the next $15,000 to have something ready for the next day when he could wait for two weeks to spend $200. But that's the way of us. I've been paid for it, and I'll get what I want, but I'm paying something about a payment with grace and God that's painted, but the precious hope that comes through this, you ain't going to flock you all that I can get. You ain't going to come down to the church and demand it. You ain't going to force it. I want you to understand something there. Oh, I thought about this, and that ain't nothing I can get. I can't stand a whiny leaf. I can't stand a wimpy little man that needs to be a wimpy. And here I come about all they have, you know what he's done is finish. He left us out. He went home. He laid down on his bed. He wasn't going to eat, and I said, "No!" He went just laying on my floor, and I can't have that thing. I can't have what I want. You know what she said? I have to keep it clear. You might Don't worry, you don't want him to tell me what they want to get back to leave. Why don't you go and have a good laugh at that guy? He wants to let us go and... Oh! Then people down at that church, that old God won't let you have that. You can't get back no other way. You try to fight, you try to be so good. You try to walk such a good life, you try to be a good person. And they won't let you have that last school level heart. No. Take the whole chance to play a little bird. Hey! And I'll give it to you. I'll give it to you! When I turn and play a lie, I can't slave off from above her. Hey, kill all of her. And then she said you can have it again. It goes there will tell you a story to a real dude. I'll give it to you. I'll make you happy. You'll be telling you something. God! He said to a man of God, that might have popped away half. He said he walked through that finger and joined you. But there will promise you a whole lot of things. But I'm going to tell you what. They might get a knife off. But they didn't take over what the heritage of that finger was. I didn't take this away with God, did they? I'm sorry. You might get by this life week, week, week. We call a little bit of an iron coin on Moses. How did he come up to a good night? He's before he had to make a choice. He's lying. If he was going to stay in the tightrope's house or if he was going to suffer with the people of God, we bring stuff that doesn't mean I'm not even here. Remember? He's out there in a certain way. He could do. And he could get what? He could get healed from what he had. And he thought he could get it in another bad way to what God said. But guess what? There's only one way he was going to get healed. There's only one way he was going to get healed. There's only one way he was going to get healed from what God's people got. It's through a broken Conrad spirit. And it's going to be on my own planet. And they're going to be on my own waters. We can't stand it. I thought when I said to Miss Jeannie, I thought about Simon over an axe. For sure. He spent much time over there. But they win, she's been a people. And they followed him last week. And they didn't stop a walk all the time. The men of God started coming through and getting free. And they said they didn't need us to leave them. But even though Simon believed that they had passed it every time. They said, "No, no, no, no, no, no, no." The apostles come through, and they laid over the hands of them, they were able to go to sleep the whole day. "No, no, no, no, no." They said, "Boy," he said, "I want that kind of fire." You know what, he done? He went to them apostles. He said, "Here, let me buy that from you." And the whole lot today, thinking they're going to buy their way into this, thinking they're going to buy a guy out there. And they're going to get a hold of this pretty little being dirty. They're going to be able to do it. But they want to. Simon didn't want the power of God on his life. They had to bring joy and happiness and salvation into somebody. He just wanted the recognition of me. They wanted people to look because they want great men's families. What a big deal of all Simon is. I'm going to tell you what. They want Simon's behind the ball pit today. They want to make a figure and they ain't willing to get it directly. They want the power of God and the steam upon your life, but they don't want to get it directly. They want to buy. They want to purchase it. Don't know what I got. What I got. It wasn't messing with them. It wasn't messing with them. It wasn't messing I could ever do. But this was it, y'all. That grace was called to bring the salvation of Peter down to me. Peter down to all of them here. I know he's ended up born around saying these two different kinds of grace. There's many kinds of grace. Some of them you want. We are saved by grace. Grouped by them. I don't hear where it was those graces. I believe it was those grace. And y'all's grace came by. It gave an opportunity. It wasn't cause I laid, and I cried. Everybody said, "I'll give it to you." It wasn't cause I bought this. It wasn't cause I earned this. It is not mine. Name on the vineyard was the heritage. The beauty of that vineyard is that it has been taken care of for generation, that for generation, that for generation. You know what the beauty of our heritage is, isn't it? It's one that gave it to us. It's that one that has a lame flame before the foundations. It's that sure, it's our soul. It's that grace is our soul. It's that foundation that isn't talking about this morning, man. It's that it's not moon for age, it's what's say what it was. It don't make some man come into the vineyard and start by nerves. Little player breaker, it don't make us come down here changing fires. That make more sense. It makes us breathe into the gospel, in the power and in the stretch. It makes us follow in God with an unwavering, dead case, you don't have to heal them. It's not changing to where they were weaved, it's never doctorate, it comes up all in the right. I'm thankful for what I'm excited about, and I'm going to take this old boy's venom. I've been afraid to disrupt the number of few things down in my soul and down in my heart. This day's been priced to suddenly. And I don't care, hey, who comes to me and says you need to change her? You need to be different, I will say what's worth. I'm on stick with the conventions of that God's way of life. Not that a man told me to have, but this. Come on. You hurt me, little preacher. You called this, you called that. I'm going to take something. Name off, hurt, ain't have any feelings. And he went watered and cried and snotted all over his bed. This is an old disc, I'm going to have to help you. I'm going to take you to something you can fight against the Word of God. I'm going to get cold too. You're going to lose. And that way an old devil will come by the door here and say, "I'll give you to you." But the ears of the road, they come to the precious man's life. And they have to be alive over the years. You have to be alive, step through. Go ahead. He's the father of it. I'm going to tell you what, this is for us beautiful leaders. We don't want any wild grapes getting sowed here. Don't sit around in the church with heart feelings towards me, don't anybody else. You don't trust the books getting bothered, don't go off to some other.
