(speaking Spanish) (speaking Spanish) (speaking Spanish) (upbeat music) (upbeat music) - Hello, good evening, and welcome to the Talkin' Cup. It's Wednesday night, Liverpool kick off at 12.20 a.m. Tomorrow, which is like three hours away, two and a half hours away. So, we're gonna look forward to Liverpool against Arsenal from, I think, it's Soldier Field in Philadelphia. Or Lincoln Field? - No, Soldier Field is Chicago. - Or at one of the fields, all right? They're playing in a field in America to a half to a half. - The ball in my cave is darif. - The ball in my cave is darif. (laughing) - Might as well be playing Mary Garnt Field with the spider finches over there. - Ah, no, I've laid an awful darif. Don't give me stars on the bitches. Brilliant, I'm joined by Shawnee, and I'm joined by our very own In-house patron Thomas who just finished the tour of Spain, and we're already sold on Spain, and we're lucky to have him here tonight, 'cause he flies out for a tour of Portugal tomorrow. So, that is of course, Keet. - Yeah. - Okay, I catch him. How are you, Keet? You haven't seen any ages? Fanging in there? - Oh, not a well man, I'm not a well man. All this sun doesn't agree with me. I know Shawnee loves a bit of sun, showing the yell tap I've seen on more of a blade and went up oak. - But it's awesome, right? - Oh, yeah, like, don't hit weeks in Spain, mum and like a folk in Egypt, and then we're back, and have to go to Portugal tomorrow, and yet swear I was going to the blade and dentists are on the way to Harry, and I'm telling anyone that I listen. Folks, I've got to Portugal tomorrow now, and we've come and come forward a ton. - Ah, ah, ah, ah. - Yeah, I've got to Portugal. - And you're back Sunday night, so when we messaged you on Saturday, saying how are you going on, you're going to go? It's all a blur, lads. It's all a blur. - Yeah, yeah. If you're looking to get a response, but it's really good. - It's one of a welfare check that we do on your way. - Well, that's, oh yeah, that's it. It's really good. - It's really good. - It's really good. There you go, check in. - Anyway, keep walking around, I'll be fair to come to go, so he doesn't get pulled. (laughing) - La Balacrava. - Telling everyone that I listen to. Isn't it a bit bleeding hot? Isn't it too hot over? - It's still hot. - It's still hot. - It's still hot. - It's still hot. You don't really need, we need a rear drop of temperature, and a little bit of rain. - Yeah. - That's what we need. - Do you want me to wear a cell coddle? Can I get a coddle over here? I'm not pointing to Guinness. - Thanks for being with you, I'm not saying the whole thing. - Anyway, we're gonna talk some of the people, we're gonna talk, I'll get your views, I'll get both of your views on the match we later on. We spoke to Keiv and Chris, and actually yesterday they gave their feelings on it. But I'm gonna start with your own club. Excellent, my manager, now your own club. Quotes deceiving the tribute of the club, and basically saying he's calling it a day as a coach. He hasn't made that decision. Oh, I don't know, he's tired about it. But the coach coming out, basically saying, yeah, he's done, that's him done, I've managed the best teams in the world, and he's gonna go and enjoy himself. Now I have seen some people come up and say, "No, no, no, he's saying as of now, he's retired, "but he may come back." Keit, what do you reckon? Like, the coach, all you're saying, basically said, he's giving her up. Oh, you think he should? I think he's had a full day of time. - I don't trust the man. I don't trust the man as far as the control. He's an awful young man, this better. - An awful young man, see? - He's an awful man. - Two weeks in Spain's put him an awful cop. - He'll soon stroke, he's an awful man. - That would be a defense tomorrow morning when we're eating the cupboards. - Yeah, yeah. It was he thinking he was calling you an awful, awful man, awful show you by the years. (laughing) Now look, he's, you're tired of what a pain to salt. You know what I mean? He said he'd never have signed a player over 80 million, you know, all this nonsense and he always got back to one and all this. You open club will say things in the sport of the moment and we'll come back on them. What I read from it is, yeah, as of now he's done, we will be back. And I think he will be back eventually. I don't wanna give you back soon. He started to peel, peel the England job, which was noise. I can't see him taking that. I can't see him taking another gig in England, but it would not surprise me even six months of a sabbatical when he's bored off his head, he's back managing someone. He will be, what the hell, man? Selpik. - When I, when I, when I, when I, when I, when I read, there's a tough fair play to him. I think you should go up and I tweeted it. I said you should go up and have the time of his life now in retirement, 'cause he's given us the time of our lives and the time has been never put manage over. But, Shawnee, he can say what he wants, can't he? But there's always going to be something there where another big, big club, the solid, right? We're gonna have to buy the bullet here. I'm gonna go all out and, and, and try to get hold of your club, because it's track record speaks for itself, and how he galvanizes clubs speaks for itself. He's never, he's never gonna be off the clock really, is he? - We're down actually now. I don't, I, I, I, I have a feeling clubs probably love the last three or four months, the difference in the pace, held the spotlight, just relaxing and enjoying times. That's what he did say when he, when he initially jacked it. I'm wicked that we would say mass. He, he, he lowered plenty of times, but only to protect the club. I think only with the club and his best interest. He has no reason to say what he said today. Only for that's probably how he really feels, you know? Like, times precious, and you don't get a bucket of teeth, times of teeth as they say, and club had a particularly difficult period over, covered with it. The last was more than I was, isn't it? - Yeah. - Among all the things. Yeah, and you're saying, you're saying that like a manager struggle, but you're saying like a person really struggling and then all you have a feeling club probably enjoying all, like it's gaffin' Spain, it's probably not even finished yet. He probably hasn't even got to put his feet down there yet. He looks to be enjoying himself playing paddle, going around around the bear with his mates. - He looks great, doesn't he? - Yeah, I think, yeah, exactly. I think he's in that, really, to torn around and say, yeah, I'm done, and we should all believe him, no matter what he says to be fair, because every single one of them was run through wilds and I thought I'd live up here on manager. And I don't see him taking any of the big jobs around Europe, I just don't, I don't think he's ill to, like, Ram Madrid, I don't think he's ill to, I don't know whether anyone's seen the nails coming out in Spain today about Ram Madrid. Don't be filled, they're actually warstone man city, they're a state-owned football club, it's no doubt about it. I'll let you still use their rounds. - What's the nails? - Yeah, well, there was this big, this big thing that my manager were gonna have to pay $470 million to the monumental of Madrid for the park and facilities around the Bernabeel. And this new fella, who's extreme Roy, is at the main vaulting as the mayor of Ram Madrid, and he's waved that fee from $470 million to only $6 million. And this fella is in huge fields with Florentino Perez and the whole stadium was built after, the whole stadium improvement was built and accommodated off the back of the fact that it was gonna be Ram Madrid who are putting this park and collect the system into place. And when all is said and done, the new mayor just said, now it's grand, just to throw $6 million there off, I'd probably pay for the paint in the car park and the maintenance to go along with it. So don't be filled, boy, I don't boy, literally boy, that the biggest shower to show you on the planet and don't be filled with anything else that's going on that there's much as probable as the rest, they want massive control over. So I don't see Club down there that for a second because I'll take you back to one thing he said and the same reason he torn down the, you know, his job, or he don't fancy managing Disneyland. And that's, that's not what he's into. And I see Club's next row lawyer, if he's potential to go back into football as the German national team manager or some sort of senior role, I produce the apartment where he's going to run in the show and I've seen everything there. He's a football man after all, boy, I don't, I believe when he said he's probably feels like he's done. I just don't see, look at the measure of the man. You know, it's track record is literally perfect. And there's no point counts somewhere else where he won't be as appreciated as he was at Liverpool or Durham and that points. It's a very, very, very specific set of clubs where a very, very specific set of values that is very hard to replicate. So it's one of these things when you said to yourself, your club was born to manage Liverpool. Yeah, like it's, it's the hand and the glove, you know what I mean? It's the perfect fit. So yeah, I'll credit him. I just hope going forward, his name is not used to ridicule any slot. I love it all at the next regime. And any slots allowed there was job of peace and your club's allowed to fucking rest and not have to deal with, listen to that show, because you bet your bottom dollar, you bet your bottlenecks to abandon, you're still going to be tuned in and looking at what's going on at Liverpool. And I'm sure it annoys him more than most certain people sitting there and every second question in any slots, press up and sell fire, has something got to deal with your club and his legacy. So yeah, hopefully the book closes on it soon enough and he just fades into the either. Yeah. - It's hard to think of what you can do. Sorry if I come across you guys, because international football, they don't think suit them. You're now getting players every few months from different clubs and different stores and eathouses. So don't get boys into what you open club wants for success. Or you think you'd be more likely to take like Stuttgart. Isn't that how we supported Stuttgart? He's from there something like that rather than a Real Madrid. He's a weirdo in that sense. Or he can't see him taking any big jobs. It would be I think a left fail or I think it could be something like Stuttgart. - Or Celtic. - Celtic. - Celtic. - Celtic. - You never walk along and all that. - Yeah. The thing for me where it is is that with the size of the announcing he made at Liverpool and the six or so months they got off, you know, they kind of came down to the end of young club rain. It was a big deal and it was a drawn-out big deal. You know, they started to weigh in. I'm wondering if part of the thing, you know what, me legacy is there. Do I really need now to go back into all that stress? I'm probably not doing a good job as I've done before. I'm not saying he can't, but not be as successful as he was before for people that don't want to go, I look, he's washed up and he came back his ego, dragged him back. You know what I'm saying? 'Cause you always get that show. You know, fellas going for the best intentions and sometimes it doesn't work and then, you know, they get really killed, you know? But listen, the best of them wherever he does, I'd be delighted if he just said, "No, I'm done. "I'm going to have to have the crack now "for whatever amount of years." And I've earned it and he has earned it. And as Scales at Pete says, "He's been a manager for 23 to 24 years. "He's well to be on his oil as needs." "He's earned a good look." Yeah, I think that's a big bang on. - But you know what, the wealth that he has, it's financial wealth, but the absolute adoration and the love that he has, he says, "What more?" And the go to a rail, a barn, a Manchester United, Manchester City, where you won't get that, certainly not to the extent that he's had it. I think that means more to him than topping up his bank balance. So look at that, it's really hard on the call and second guess what's going on. - But some of the jobs that you mentioned there, are going to look around Madrid, or a boring Munich, right? It's tied to everything. They'd be seen as adoration just took the easy choice here, you know, to come back in and kind of patting out the stats and stuff like that. I don't think he's like that. I don't think that's where he comes, where he looks at when he's gone to do jobs or take jobs. And look, we'll have to wait and see, but for the moment, you'll perhaps have a lovely time. And long may continue, he absolutely deserves it. Now, the press seem to have an issue with bringing out stories that are months old and weeks, if not months old. Well, not months. That's probably being a bit unfair on the lads. Weeks old. So we talked about, last night, we talked about with Haro Endo to Marseille, which was gone back three or four weeks ago. It was reported on a couple of days ago. If you remember at the start of the Euros, it was talked about Newcastle approach and Liverpool were a deal that the one that was involved. That was calling the throne on the scrap heap as well. But in the last 24 hours or so, we've seen a report now that it's actually new. Castle approach Liverpool. And one of the boy Joe Gomez for £45 million, and then sell Anthony Gordon for £75 million. The car's £45 million spread over your five-year deal, you know, £79 million a year, which are £75 million, will go straight off the box. And this is the latest story that this happened a couple of weeks ago, and it got me thinking on it, the Anthony Gordon stuff again is back. A lot of people suggesting certain things around Anthony Gordon and his want to go to Liverpool, the Liverpool want to go and stuff like that. But I kind of forgot about Gordon for a minute, and I use both to talk about him, his want. But Keith, the Joe Gomez angle is interesting to me, because as things stand, again, I feel like Joe Gomez is a little bit of your insurance policy here, as it stands with the centre back you currently have. Would it be a bit of a mad one to sell Joe Gomez? I know £45 million is a lot of wedge, but is it a bit of a mad one considering the centre has we currently have? And how much he was needed at right/left back last season, as kind of utility player, seems a bit of a mad one. But money's money. Money is money, but I think it's a bit of a mad one. I don't know, because nobody sort of has an idea of what we want to do, or who we want to bring in, or who we want to keep our very good days of shape and things like that, because you can't even Joe Jan on the best this game, because he didn't have players, so you don't know what way slot is taken. He might be looking at a player that can come in and replace Joe Gomez as a utility player, or use her trade, for example, or a foreign, or as someone that could do multiple positions at the back, or it could be someone else, you know? And maybe he wants to bring someone in and feels that Gomez could be milked on. It's pure speculation. Would we keep him? Yeah, he's lucky, he's English. There's a lot to be said for that. He's a good player, Joe Gomez. I taught you the good season last year. Covering our left back mainly, I taught you them very well. Send that back a year, don't you? I think you move on, you've got one game, and a cupcake or something like that. Send that back last season. So I don't know, the new manager, it's a new room, everything can be staring from scratch. So I'm not surprised if he milves on, because at his age of what, he 26, 27? 27. If he wants to be playing, you know, regular force team football at a club like Neil Castle, it will be challenging for you all to pay in places and things like that. You might see that as a good opportunity for him. It wouldn't be Gurujim if he did. The fella has given an awful lot to live uphill, he's had tough times. Did we think Liverpool should sell him? It just depends on what they have on the point line, Gav. Or it wouldn't be selling anybody that would be forced him sort of regulars. Not necessarily starting 11 players, but you know that-- Your forced 18? Yeah, I wouldn't be selling anyone out of forced 18, really, unless there's a back-up plan and I don't see where there's an in-house back-up if golem is lives, because more on opinion on it is, or you think we need to upgrade semikas? I'm not getting into semikas, dig and bleed much, because we know what the comments are going to do. You're already in one way already. But, or you think we need to upgrade on semikas, or you think we need to... If Trent is staying out right back, we would look to bring in a centre back that comes right left. That's what we would do personally. So, we look to bring in a centre back who can cover that left back, rather than bringing a pure left back. But, that's just me. Do you know what I mean? I don't know about you. What I mean? It's a lot to do. I don't know what Richard Yeos will want to do. But, if they have someone in mind and they have someone that they can bring in, they may look at and say, "Really? Golem is, Joe, you can move on out." And, if they can use it as a sweetener in the angry garden, they'll all the better, because there'll be loads of fiddling and diddling all normal prices on values and that they meet PSR or whatever folk it's called for Neil Castle's point of view. So, I'm going to be interested to see what happens with it. Yeah. A couple of people in there, Charnie, have said, "I'm two of the curves here." Basie is saying, "Look, is it a case of Joe Gomez?" Forget the new castle stuff for a minute. But, if Joe Gomez was looking the other way, it's probably somebody, a 27, wanted to play regularly in their preferred position, which is centre back. He hasn't had that for a couple of years at Liverpool, probably since around 2021, I would have thought, where he's been a regular at centre back. And, even last season, someone said there, he plays 50 games last season. But, again, mostly a left-back, right-back, the album, and the defence in the field. In fairness, I'm with Keith. Do you sell any regular forced AD? Maybe not. But, it's a fair point at 27. If he sees another manager come in, and that manager says, "Look, I have Van Dyck, "I have Kanate, I have Kwanzaa, "I'm signing Player X, the play centre back. "I want you to be the guy that we look for, "right-back and left-back from also, "and cover it's in the half." At 27, he probably thinks, "Nah, "that's not for me anymore. "I need to play centre back." And, he needs to do it regularly. That's probably where, it's probably not a club decision, it's probably a player one. Yeah, and, if that is Jowgum as his wish then, I think the club should not know that. I don't think he loves the club absolutely anything. - He loves it. - 19, 20 is brilliant, up until the injury. And then it was stopped out until then. I believe this is probably the longest stint in the forced game, without an injury he's had since he's signed. And, here we are. It's a middle-of-the-rout conversation for me, it's a middle-of-the-rout player. And I say it out with the up-mounce respect, he's probably far-choice centre back at Liverpool. You know, it would have a fake canate, which is a big kind. Like, it is, it is. Look, let's put a fake canate as a head of Jowgum as. If, and, or it have Kwanza as number two, so that leaves Jowgum as far-choice centre back, possibly second-choice right back, and, or choice left back. - Is your vehicle stopping like it should? Does it squeal or grind when you break? Don't miss out on summer break deals at O'Reilly Auto Parts. ♪ Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, right ♪ ♪ Auto Parts ♪ - So, that in part, he's 27 years of age. He's a utility player at Liverpool. He's just at the get-and-pick for the Euros. He probably fails with a move of praying regular. He'll be in the next England manager's tarts for looking to go away into the World Cup in what two years time when he's 29 and in his prime. So, for me, look, 44 million, I think it would have been a great person to be had a guy that I think everyone would have been like, yeah, that's a really good deal for about the player and the club, and the boy, whoever the boy in club was, 'cause I do actually think that Jowgum is a really good football player. I just, you know, he seemed to spend a lot of time at Liverpool all the way around the treatment table trying to figure out where his best position was, firing 19-20 when he was outstanding, when he was the perfect parent of a van. Like, so, yeah, I just don't think that's the goal, but the problem is that we have at the moment, he looked way better at row back and left back than he did at center back in a few holes because I center back last year, if I remember correctly. The game at Madrid and failed still sticks in my head as to one of the World's center back performances I've seen at Liverpool for a long time, and it sounds like I'm doing a hard job on them, but it's just, it's fresh in me memory. And I just think for 44 million, this could be a situation where Liverpool take the pure profit as it will be because it's original contractors as well run out. I think we paid 12 million for them, I think, at the beginning of the meeting, so... - No, we didn't play with that one. - No, we didn't play with that one. - Two, two or three million or so. - Yeah, we don't know. - No, we don't know. - No, we saw... - No, it's loud. - Three million, I think, got three more points. - Two thousand and... - Yeah, so there you go. - Four or three. - It's practically... It's practically pure profit. The only thing that worries me is outside of the garden, it's the force of August tomorrow. I think we need a left-back. I think we detonate and made failure. And number six, we'll need another centre-back. - And if going as cold as you need... - Possibly. - Yeah, and give a month. I know that it runs on, but the season starts in my three weeks, you're basically a month up until that international break to get far or far away from Son and Son. I know I don't like to sound that. I know I understand this is the club's position and they've made it aware that this is what they were going to do. And... Yeah, it's a tricky one. It makes sense to me. It makes more sense to me than Anthony Gardens or in the Battle of April anyway, which I believe is a caveat as to... That's the way he was. I just hope that this wasn't the case where a government has got a bailout at the age. And I really hope it's not saying that. Look, listen, you ought to be in the effort to open a deal here with Anthony Gardens. I much prefer, because I read Bascom's article. I know it's like... That sounds a bit bad on the club's end, because it just makes us sound like he's not happy with the fact that he's been made a make way in a deal for Anthony Gardens. And he's looking to probably re-mill one. I hope it's a case where Joe Gomez did go there and it's similar to Adrian saying, "Look, listen, I'm not going to sign that deal. "I'm going to go. "I don't fancy hanging around. "I'm going to go and play for better." I hope it's Gomez literally torn around and saying, "Yeah, I want to go and play." Because Gomez could go and play Champions League football around Europe. He's a really good player. So it's one of them. 44 million will be hired, or he's in the torn down book. He'll be bringing in. It's shock me. One thing that we are saying now is that this delay on Nils leaking out of the club is clearly deliberate on the club's part. 'Cause it looks like to me reading through the lines that are just making clubs now. He had Nils for sale and Joe Gomez is for sale there as well if the right money were to come in. It just looks like that to me. And so it's how little it looks. - But how nervous were the makers if... Like, my team on Anthony, I'm not getting the ability or the fact he falls out a lot, but what I'm saying is that when we looked at this summer, I think most of us, when we looked at this summer, we thought we need to replay it. With the squad we have now, if we were to place Teago and Matabot who really, really good silence, right? And maybe a bit of stuff around the edges, like you mentioned there, Keith, maybe doing some on Simicast or maybe doing something up front, but only if someone leaves, we do something up front. He would have talked grand, but it makes me a bit nervous that we're taking somebody from a problem position we have, I think Santa has a problem position. We're taking someone out of that mix before we try fix the issue. Do you get me? Like, don't get me wrong, if we brought in a banger of a cent, a half, right? A banger. And we said, that is fucking outstanding. That's an outstanding sign. And in summer, when I went, listen, Joe Gomez has probably slipped down the pecanara, 44 million, yeah, we take it, and we probably do some work with that. But they want to be far, we bring in a Santa back. It's a bit mad to me, but having said that, Liverpool are probably, could be on the verge of selling the Santa hat, and we don't know. But will it not make you a bit nervous, Keith? Well, we're treading leading Teagoese here, I think, at the Santa hat position as it is. - I don't know, will you agree that the Santa hat position is a problem position? Because we've also got Virgil on the last year of a contract that we don't know, he's going to extend. So I think that area is going to need heavy, heavy walk next season. Shawnee touched on Kanate. Oh, love Kanate. I think he's a great player. Has all the attributes that I made. But it's injury prone. And it's always little mostly injuries that he picks up. Whereas Joe Gomez was too bad knee injuries, impacting these red knee arm, or really bad that wasn't-- - Joe Gomez should really slot into the matchup situation here. - You think that-- - You think that? - Yeah, you think that that would be the obvious sort of answer. Well, as Shawnee said, there's been a lot of whispering and a lot of articles coming out. So do we think that he's being forced out, or do we think that he's being asked to live? It's hard to say, because we know Moigled was a reputation. And he's not the director of football at Liverpool. Again, we know that's Richard Gios, but he reparts into Moigled. I mean, no Moigled has this thing about players. Hoi earners, when they start getting to a certain age, move them on. And I hope that I've taken a call to the project that week on as I deal with British on you. I hope it's sorted. Joe Gomez wants to go on move on. And if that's the case, we think-- well, I'm not worried about Liverpool with no swings at the moment, because I think he will make Sundance. I think this nonsense that they're missing out on targets is just fucking laughable. They're not going for anyone. They know who they want, and they go for who they want when they get the opportunity. But Hoi think they should do a center half this summer. And if that's at the expense of Joe Gomez, so be it. But as I said, I think it should be a center back back in playing multiple positions. It shouldn't just be it. Hoi Gomez and Boi, that's what I do tomorrow. That's exactly what I'll be doing. If you got 44 for Gomez, that's a good chunk of change for a player like Joe Gomez. And you could throw that at Crystal Palace where I gave you. And you'd probably get it. Yeah, that's what I do. No, I literally-- Yeah, Boi in a younger version of Joe Gomez with a better track record, fitness voice, who can kick on, who has all the progress. But he has had a big injury, he was injured for a good stint in the last season, and he came back near the end of the season. Yeah, because it was an impact, a similar that was an impact injury he's been fit ever since. His injury record is impeccable regarding the irrespective of that one beforehand. That was the last one he got last year. Yeah, I thought it was England's best player in the old. I thought it was the most consistent performer. So he went there and put that in. [INAUDIBLE] [INTERPOSING VOICES] Yeah, no, listen. And that's probably where Liverpool are. [INTERPOSING VOICES] Yeah, that's what I-- Yeah, if you have a player there, that's 27 months to move on and play regular for Boi, that's great. The thing with Guy here is if he comes in, he's probably saying, well, I want to play. I've played at the University of England. I want to play in the next World Cup. And Liverpool are saying, well, Van Doy plays for us. And Qantas being outstanding. And Qanade, when fit, it's probably one of the best centerbacks around. It's hard to bring somebody in. And right, you can probably say to Qantas, you were breathing last season, but we're bringing in this guy with a bit more experience. Because I think if Qanade's fit, he probably plays before Van Doy. But I think Qantas should be there saying, I want to play. Because I think he's being so impressive and fit and everything else. It's just hard in that position to bring somebody in where they're going to buy into a new manager, or a new club, and possibly being tore a fort in the pecan order. And again, it's hard with Joel Galmens, because he wants to play as well. It's a difficult one. But we'd have to wait and see. Well, a good player will back himself as well. And they'll think we'll get ahead of Qantas. And we'll get ahead of Qanade. He was always injured. And he'll be fancy that he can be in there. The only problem with where he is, he's left to wait at level four. He's really full from on the right. Yeah, he'll play in the right. I don't think there's a problem there. But it would be interesting to see. And there's these little whispers coming in. And like I said, they're weeks behind when they've actually happened. So if that's going to America-- It's deliberate. Yeah, if that's America, Liverpool, if they're down the road looking to sign some of the probably way down that road. Well, that's it. We have to take a bit of that. It's people saying, oh, there's nothing happening. There's nothing happening. So it's not what's happening. And then they're dripping out what they want to drip out. Again, we said earlier, you know, where did the Wataro end on it was coming out? What are they going to have to live up to the side? Would you just quickly move on? Do you know what they might do? Do you know what they might do? Then just devil, devil's advocate here. They might sell Gomez, boy another one, and keep said find the background. That's-- He was excellent, he was angry. Not even that, set find the break is actually quite low Gomez in the way where he's played a couple of seasons at Roy back and Roy wing back across the championship and the Bundesliga. And he was the D outstand. And I'm saying this as singular. When these people look into stats and spreadsheets, he is the singular stand-out center back in the Bundesliga last year on the 24 years. All right, all your strength on the goals. So it could be one of them. And I'd imagine that. Look, find the break is a mad one. He comes in. I think we talk. It's going to take a lot of time to blow in. He just shamed to never really get a guy on the club. He may have done. I think he's probably unlucky in a sense that Kanza kicked in. Yeah, I think the time in front of him is terrible. I think it's time in the title for him. It could be, and I know people are going to lose the play and rag the part of Van de Begh hanging around. But I do genuinely think that is for me. That's a solution. And I'm not saying sale, Gomez, and down boy center back. I'm saying sale, Gomez, boy, a competing second center back, someone who could potentially sit in beside Kwansa because Gerald Kwansa could play for another two years. And by that time, Kwansa could be one of the standard center backs in Europe with three seasons of experience under his belt playing the top of his game. And he could actually be the one who goes, already going to step in now. He's like, Kwansa's the potential to be a Liverpool captain. And then you're not really, you're keeping Van de Begh. And then Van de Begh is actually taking Gomez's role. And then you're buying someone to come in and do that. Yeah, when Van de Begh will be happy with that as another thing. That's the thing I remember. I think he's tasted regular football. I think he's tasted regular football. And I think on top of that, I think Liverpool see, it's probably where the height of his value is at the moment, unless they were sent him out alone again, which they won't because he'd only have a year left on his deal. And they've probably seen, this is the height of it now. We can probably get $58 million and let's do that. It'll be interesting, though. It'll be interesting. Listen, we could be here at the start of the season. Joe Gomez is still here, and we signed the center back. And Joe Gomez is his utility. And Joe Gomez is all over the top. Just to make me think about it today, when the authorities come out on the top. Yeah, but he probably wants to go and play regular somewhere. Or he probably wants to tell Aaron it's thought I want to be sent to have a Liverpool. And he's well-earned his rights, too. So he might stay and they'll fight for that. Just quickly. Would you both keep with heroin, though? Kate? Well, he'd keep him because I don't think we're going to sign a ball win and mid-failer. Well, only as an option, you know, to try one of the short things up. I know everybody lost that shit. It was game, Jordan. No, he didn't look like he'd short anything up. But what we've seen and what we've sort of been seeing and training drills and all that is, the emphasis is going to be on keeping the ball and playing the ball for the mid-fail. Coach Jones said it. You know, it's different the way clubs play it. Where the mid-fail, I just saw the organ growing. There's not a man in there. He was lifting the piano and all this other water. Cardio's wherever the sign is. Whereas I think now there's going to be a lot of emphasis on ball playing. So I think when we change, we're seeing somebody losing that shit there because PSG, sorry, our son and Shawnee's boy, Portuguese fella. We'll be talking about Joe Neves, Joe Neves. Joe Neves, 60 million euro. Yeah, yeah. But people are going mad at saying, we should be getting you a guard day. Oi loi, go guard day. Not for this team, though. Because your guard day starts on ball with an atopative-laden table. It starts for a pass and they're bleeding. You know, it charges leg level. The fella cannot use the ball. So I don't think that he will be good enough for what we want. So it's a very tricky position. Um, who could you bring in there? Because I think, yeah, we could operate on the end of certainly. If we think it's going to be playing with two, with two central midfielders with one in front. I know there's this argument about what formation that he's going to be playing and things like that. But if we take it out, he's going to play two and one in front of them. Then you'd say, McAllister will be one of them and he'll be the other one. Oi don't think it's going to be a new guard day. That's just a destroyer. Oi think it's going to be somebody that can, yet, they would have been a donkey walk at the back, go and play the ball. So we had we for that, um, PSI, um, thing or... Oi think that's the type of player we'd end up going for. He will be a downer, but it would keep him down because it don't... Unless you get good money. There's very little value in getting rid of him. Do you know what I mean? To keep him as that sort of trauma for 10 minutes, if you just need to break things over or short of a game, that's closer to probably eating. I'm not going to wear it as something that way. But Joe Gomez... It's going to be that the player in this one against the ball and can move the ball, but can put a tackle in. Joe Gomez is excellent. Of wolves. A lot of people are saying, "Hate the gamble on warden. "I am from Crystal Palace." They doubt that's the problem with warden. Yeah, warden is going to command the EUG. It would be ideal, but I think you're thinking, you know, ideal. Moiting on it is that endo. Oh, he's got rid of the endo. Well, yeah, you would... What was the only... What was the only... 11.4 million pounds or something. But my thing on it is that I don't think there's another player in the squad that has the defensive tendencies of endo. Right? And... But I do... Yeah, and I think there's an argument to say he could get rid of endo and bring some of that level. That would be a squad player, both. The ability, the ability to take the ball on the throne and play the ball. But this is why I think this is why I think this is why I think... Yeah, but this is why I think this is the... I'm gonna fire away. Endo's ability. Snowfaneal Foyers in this Liverpool team, because... Mate, absolutely. Mate, it's made for... It's not going to be as held as Kelta. You're not gonna need a fellow winning every single Joe in the midfield. We're gonna be... The bar retention is going to be naturally so much for you. We won't be as susceptible to... But still again, but still again. Kelta attacks. But you do need a fella... You do need a fella who can look after the house, but you need... Endo's defensive... Brilliant, which is really, really good at it. You're saying, again, numbers would suggest... Won't make up for the fact that the fella can't throw on the passport. He just... He hasn't got it in him. He's too slow on the ball. He doesn't move the bar quick enough. You could see in game, he's trying his hardest to look like he's moving the bar quick up, but he's just hadn't got the ability. It's just not his game. Or I think Endo will struggle. Big stall. I think his limitations were shown. Do you know what I mean? I think... I think his limitations were last year. Yeah. I think he gets hooked a half to him. I think he gets hooked a half to him. I think he gets hooked a half to himself. I think... I definitely get rid of him. I think his limitations were shown to the night, but my only worry is if you do get rid of him, right? Now, I was trying to make the point last night that, you know, it's not like he's... You open club is still there and you're bringing someone in and going, "Oh, but listen, Endo's there the year he knows the ins and outs of it." If you were to set Endo and bring someone in for 58 million quid, that was like him, but a bit better on the ball. I was a squad member. He'd fit in before him because Endo's only learning four weeks off. You know what I mean? You're four weeks behind. You're not a year behind. In the process. But I actually think we're talking a cent of accidents. It's a problem issue, or whatever. What he does here, if he signs him and feels I could actually be the making of Endo's slot, I live up here. And I don't think I'm down playing it by saying that it has to be someone that he feels can become absolutely elite about him. It could be a bit of a project, you know, a bit of a younger player, you know, bring him in, help me over a little while, but do you think he's going to be absolutely elite? Because I watched that game, you know, and honestly, you need to be able to take the ball in any fucking situation with two or three players around you, be able to pop passes off, force time. And if not, it has to be two touches really quick. You have to know your angles. You have to be able to have really good movement. And it's a really special part of the team that I think y'all know, is going to make this as instead of what the key type of club function on midfield, I think he's really focusing in on whoever's in this midfield. It's going to really orchestrate everything we do. So I think the signing has to be so fucking good. I'm not looking for a range of paths like Javi Alonso. I'm looking for somebody that comes in and go, he never loses the fucking ball. And what I mean by that is I'm not giving away a pass. He never loses it with a phase as I go. Billy, we need some of like a Billy Gilmore. Like, I'm not exactly him. But a player like him who just nits things. He takes things out of it. It's a non-believable footballer. Don't get really good footballer. He's a really good footballer. But he's that little pain in the ass that gets in and nicked in. The thing, like a 20, look, imagine, imagine even the T.I. Gobi originally got from Boeing in this team. It's exactly the start. Exactly. That's why we can't believe that we haven't gone back in for Andre. Because that's exactly what he does for a Flume and Aesie. That's exactly what a people who gets around who just nips the ball around the place. He was excellent around the corner. That's why I don't understand. This is why we just have to trust this whole thing. That way, if they're leaving it, they obviously have to have a player. I'm like, oh, you have no idea. I'm not going to sit here and rat laugh. Sixes. I talk. Gerald Nevez was, I told you, I would have went to Ireland. And he said to come up at 60 million euro. I'd love to know what. George Mendez is getting, and this is what people need to think about. I'd love to know what George Mendez is getting, and the amount of money he's getting. It's like the whole euro thing again. The other people probably fancied euro, I told you, I had a million on 80 grand a week. No, 60, like 52 million and 150 grand a week. We need someone in there who's just going to look after the ball and nicks and wins. Will this go? Will this go? I don't even know whether he's the toy that we need now because, like, I thought he was just in that euro belief, he was, but I think he's a bar winner, but he protected really well, particularly in the final type, protects the bar really well and just made him look like he hasn't gone anywhere. The thing is, this is, I'm going to say something here, and it's to try to make the, the, the mad, the mad, the mad. Sam, he's got the positive response. He's the one who buys it. I'm going to say this here, and it's, it's something that's going to make, I want to make the wet the beds. I'll feel a little bit more hopeful, right? All you have on me is three players, I think, the other people are definitely looking at right. I'm going to look at them. I see that they've not gone anywhere, and they hasn't been talking about going anywhere else, right? The fourth song is Ryan at Nori, right? I just, I see that they'll happen down the line. Wolves are in a bit of trouble as well, regarding PSR, and I have a feeling, Richard Hughes now is that the car, Richard Hughes, the contact book, that's his name in, in, in the football mode. Everyone's probably listening to that podcast we talk about. Edison is a no-one, hasn't gone anywhere, hasn't been talked from gone anywhere. I don't see you, the story is, I don't know what Atlanta, they want to tell him to spend it on all they've made, the Amanda Catley, a permanent, which is an expensive enough deal for them. So in Jamanoff, ever. Yeah. Yeah. And then I look at, uh, uh, Kerry was, uh, at West Ham, uh, and we are folding the rock, and what's going on to the right, there it is. West Ham are spending a fortune. West Ham are, uh, blown a bag, and, uh, he was reading just there. That they hope to close out deals for Cressencios Somerville and Nicholas Foucrock next week. Yeah. And possibly, I don't want them to sack it. So you're talking the good, another 80 million there, and they've already spent 70 million. They fought Kilman. They fought the Latkeum from the Atlanta mayor is 20 or a million. They spent a lot of money and I have a feeling that maybe this is just a case of Liverpool. You know, this has a release class, as far as I'm aware, I think it's 80 million. Yeah. So 80 million euros possibly. I just have a feeling that West Ham have gone committed deals with favor. Let us get a few bodies in before we move this fella on because we don't want to get rolled with everyone now and we have a lot, a lot of cash. They spent loads of money as well last year when, when Roy's left, so it's not the case where they're spending the debt from Roy's money. And I just, I just feel curious as a player now that you bring in, can play right wing, the 10 left wing and one of that, like a false knowing toy destroyer that slot played already. It just makes way too much sense to me. So in the net in the garden makes no sense to me because there's gag powder, there's no one else who can play out left and then there was Dias who was still at the club when I think, mostly everybody thought he was going to go. So I just, oh, that's the way we're looking at it and until I'm looking at the Australian and thinking they haven't been linked with anyone else, they're all, that tree really go players and I just have a feeling of Liverpool, that's, this is me being the ultimate optimist now being to tell you the truth. I just feel like that, that's just the, the ducks, we lose the expression. The ducks are in the row and Liverpool, it's, it's, it's just a matter of time and where Liverpool are going to go, kill those bank, we'll have him, there we go, Edison, bank, we'll have you. And at Nori, you're going to come in, you're out, at Nori spends a year rotating with Robertson to eventually replace him because I think left back as well is a, is a, is a, is a problem area for Liverpool. That's not really spoken about to be honest with you. So that's, that's how I feel. That's all just, he's, he's made huge promise here to everyone, listen, and I, Nori, Edison, and killed us. So I, I, I emailed him if he don't have a Roy, and I'm only messing, he hasn't promised anything. Keith, before we go. I agree with, most of all, we move after, I do agree with that logic that players were linked, but I didn't go anywhere, but I think it's Gordon, I think it was myself personally. Oh, I think I'm out. Oh, you think it's, I think what Shawnee is saying is Roy, people jumped on the line and you're all thinking, oh, we got kicked and didn't get to be in bed from him because of the money went, they were controlled all over the line. But there's very few players we've actually been strongly linked with over the summer, and they are the lawyers of your eight, Nori's, and you're killed us, you're Gordon's, you're Edison, and they've been the strongest links and nothing's happening. And I think there's an awful lot in that, that boy is now an else looking at them. Boy is now an else counting at them. Yes, but this name keeps coming up in, in, warden from Crystal Palace, right? I think he's done one season of Crystal Palace. I think he might have played 20 games. Half a season, he only comes in, he can't even get anywhere, isn't he? And everyone, like, Kevin Ball, I mean, like, chat on a bit of the telegram group, and he just adores this fellow. Like, is he a bit of a, a world card that, that, that, live up here looking out young left footed, put him in there at McAllister, two really good footballers to protect the ball, you know, solid, whatever defense of luck they have after them are defensive tendencies you have out, and we'll walk on it to make it, to make it the best thing. Then he just keeps popping up this name. So I'm waiting, if you're going on that, on that logic, that no one else is being linked with him. If he's that fucking good, boy, isn't that three, four, five, six teams in England and around Europe, we're going to get this fellow before he's another great season, and he casts an extra 20, I've already made it, is this just a flavour of the month name? Because I'm not going, I'm going to be honest with you, I've, I've seen the fellow won't play once, once twice, twice, twice, maybe, um, who's, who's, is he, is he that good? We think he's the idea of pro foil, a player that we want for the midfield, Shawnee mentioned in my game or lower share, you know, and I think it has to be a player that can win the ball, but can pass the ball, can progress the ball, and he's a very good player at the end of that. The problem we have with Adomorn is it's going to be big money, um, for the player, you know, is he, is he the, is he the player for the money that we need? We think he could be, we think a left foot player, we can code be the answer, but those other players out there, or down all the money that's being mentioned for Adomorn, we cannot imagine it's anywhere less than 60 million, and maybe more, you know, that's what I'm saying, I think you know, you could even know it, yeah, could be even north, you know what I mean? So that's where I think Liverpool will identify players, but they'll have a value on them, we know this, they've settled all along, and if they feel the players not winning that value range, or they've been poised, they'll be long gone for them. We think he is the ideal type of player, but you know, there's other players out there that can deal right here, we are, but I don't know, like a player that's being mentioned that I don't know if it's Sean, you'll know more about this, it's over maybe, um, what his field is, what's going to stay in Spain, what's in Spain? See a lot of them, a lot of them want to stay there, and it's hard to get them out, but I think he's off that profile as well, you can win the ball, he passes the ball, he's not a destroyer, he's good with the ball, and I think that's why, we think we have Stefan Boychett, we think we have the ideal profile and midfielder in there, but whether he's ready yet or not after the season, that we injured, or down out, but he's got the height, the physicality, the passing, able to nick the ball, able to break up attacks, he could be an answer, I'm not, the problem, not the problem, but the exciting thing if you want to look at that way is, we don't know what slot one, slot could want younger players in there today, and it could be, or knock on a shot, he was looking to play in spray peoples' walls there with manjills, so I'm going to explode heads, it could be Toila Martin, it could be the ideal player there, and a slot one, and that's, you know, I'm not what anybody wants to get in there, I'm not really, Jamie Wanley, Jamie Wanley, Jamie Wanley, Jamie Wanley, Jamie Wanley, it could be the one, Toila Martin, just to get Tamara Peters out of the press, Toila Martin could be the one that goes on the tour and can keep the ball past the ball, keep the ball past the ball, keep the ball past the ball, nick the ball, do you know what's telling to me, you know what's telling to me, Jones goes off the other day after 20 minutes, and he puts a 16-year-old head on of all of them, Naomi, so I'm just saying, I'm just saying, and I tell you one thing, Martin is of no value, where it would probably be clever to let him go, I kept my balls at the great show there, I think I'm not going to lie, although I read everything the ride I got and I would have been perfect. Super-shaft from Braised to Villas, I will be made up with Kilda, but we have to address the defence force, it also looks like we dodged one with Yaro for up to two months, Yaro gets done because of the pitch in America, he gets done because of the pitch, simple as that, he's in a protective boot, he's probably looking in six weeks, and now he plays for Manchester, it's not nice to see if someone going over there and starting a career with somebody and then genuinely the pitch can let them down, but look, six weeks is for Carl in a four-year contract, and I'll probably don't know him, I would have lonely for six to eight weeks, and then he's back. Well, you think it's the worst possible thing that could happen to him because he won't be afforded to him? No, but the thing is, he wouldn't have been afforded to him, anyway, from the fourth day of the season, the way I follow him, what I'm saying is that, you know what, he gets six to eight weeks now to better himself in a Manchester neighbourhood, everyone going, are he fucking literally frank over there, because he hit a crossfield pass last week, like, it's scandalous to fucking stuff that's coming out about him, and I'm going to give him a bit of time there. Anyway, I've enjoyed that, I'm going, right, Liverpool against Arsenal later, I don't expect Liverpool to win, Arsenal just have everyone fucking back, and Bear, I think it's Roy Saker, the one of the goalkeeper, still the goalkeeper, and Saliba, the fucking Sony pair is back, I couldn't believe it when I say anything like that, but Liverpool look like they've got a cold place on par, Canada is back with him, but maybe they're too early for him to come on play, but listen, minutes in the leg, some fitness, no injuries, and everyone will be happy with me with one of the players, you know, he had someone asked there when you do a watch-along for you, I know he came, Sunday into Monday, most definitely not, I've walked to do it from six o'clock on Monday morning, and I'm not fucking staying up there on the watch-along to three o'clock, or just that, and a broken met at Arsenal, according to, actually, L, for him, for him, I haven't heard of that yet, but the met at Arsenal, but they were deadly, and if Kevin was to see, I have 12, you won't see me, I have 12, I'm so fucking tired, I'm so fucking tired, so I'm just going to Troy watch the match, I'll probably fall asleep watching it, and we'll talk to you tomorrow, and tomorrow was Thursday, we should be back with another show tomorrow, we might do a reaction to Arsenal, and Liverpool, and you never know, far more stories from four weeks gone, we reared ahead tomorrow, so we can talk about them, thanks for being the Keith, best of looking forward to the Keith, we wish you all the best, I'll send you a well, I'll send you a well for a check, and we'll do a well for a check, maybe Saturday afternoon, thanks for being here, as always, thanks for being there everyone in the chat, like, subscribe, comment, become a member, do all that sort of stuff, and yeah, we'll talk to you soon, bye bye.
