The other two lights are off. I don't want them in, but they're off. And me and Emma are going to chat around Liverpool against Bettis. We did a preview show, which ended up being a big argument of a court challenge, which was great. We don't know what's along, where me and Kev just had a few cans and watched the game, which was also great. But we decided that we're going to come back to me and talk about what do we learn from Bettis, players, the manager, tactics, toilet, play, whatever it might be. What do we learn? Another couple of things I want to chat about. Emma, how are you? Yeah, good. Yeah, I'm all good. No, it's a busy weekend. I didn't really get to see him. I'm coming back. And now, about me, dinner again. Good for it up wings. Little sponsor in there for you. Good for it up wings. Absolutely, good. What's the vibe of us? Fuck off, Sergio. It's a free meal every Sunday for me. Remember that place I was telling you about the Loudon Bay down there, and we're naming all these places. Yeah, Emma. The Loudon Bay down on the Green Hills Road. Yeah. When your boy gnawing males, you get a meal free. Yeah. Right, right. But this is about two weeks ago. Yeah. And I bought up with my mail and then you get a text message saying, "Here's a voucher for €30." Well, I thought you would get one meal, as in a burger and chips. Yeah, yeah. But I got a €30 voucher to spend off my next thing. So I think when I bought a fucking film for the tree of us, and it ended up on the cost of €7 a day in your alley. Happy days, and that would for it on wings, they were the same. After every 10 meals, they gave you a... So I'm just going to load the voucher. I'm just going to get another load of your meals. I'd say you love the coupons in the back, you know what I'm directing? I've only test out Club Card and all of it. Yeah, straight in the town. Straight in the town. We're looking at the voucher, your pocket for a free big mac quality. And now you do, you love your old dinner on a Sunday, don't you? Whether it's out or in here, you're a big fan of that. So you're good, anyway. One good, how are you? I'm great. I'm great. Yeah, I'm good. I'm good. The busy weekend. The week is busy coming up. And yeah, they're up all against the rational Wednesday into Thursday. Which should be the cracking. Is it Wednesday at the tourist day or Tuesday at the Wednesday? I'm telling you, I think I might be Tuesday at the Wednesday, isn't it? I hope it is. All these have 12 kickoffs. So I'm going to choose the Wednesday. I think it's the fourth, which will be half 12 on the touristy morning. Yeah. Yeah. Wednesday night, Thursday morning. Yeah. So, yeah, I'm looking forward to that. And then of course I have to be up at half six on Thursday morning. So that'll be the crack. And watching that match and I'm trying to get out of bed. But no more people are against betters. Before we do that, some breaking news, the Liverpool have rejected a bid from Marseille, Fernando. Apparently 16 million, which is about what we pay for, if I remember already. No reason to accept that. Is there any? No. No, it's a 14 million euros, 11.8 million pounds. But unless he thinks that Martin and Boychetta should do a job, he's needed, isn't he? So until they bring in somebody else and he's decided, well, it'll be there's somebody else and Boychetta. Well, then you maybe look to move him on. But at the moment, he's the he's the rotator, isn't he? Really him? And whoever logged out, Jojo Boyd again, the other night, it looks like he's going to play two there. But I think I think one of those will be sitting in McAllister like it was last year. But for now, again, that was is needed. Yeah. Someone comes in. Look, we reject. Apparently that offers coming in. We rejected it. I don't know if Marseille come back with mom money. And like, you know, you're going to get a reaction on the back of that. People are going to say, Oh, look, we're keeping endo. We're not going to song and anybody, all this sort of stuff. But like, it bit like the court is challenged that we had the other night. You need a squad, you know, and endo's part of that squad. Whether you learn from the start or whether you don't want to start or whatever, he's part of that squad. So Liverpool rejecting that isn't surprising. It really isn't. It was interesting to watch just getting onto the game. It was interesting to watch Jojo and what we were trying to do in the stomach. So I was like, kind of, you know, gives it away at the end of the game where he says, look, we played with four at the back till as a midfield till as a white, you know, and himself and Harvey Elliott playing as two tents. One of us had to go up front. One of us had to go one toy. The other fella had to cover and they basically used that as like it. It was nearly like a really deep life forward and number 10. You know what I mean? It was the way it was. And he says that he doesn't think he'd be playing that an awful lot because he just had no strikers and the start of the game. So that's that's where he went with that. But before we get into the game, can we start on? Can we talk about the pitches? Like, I was like, it was good. A pitch wasn't good. I don't know. Look, let me tell you something, right? Liverpool Football Club, Manchester United, Arsenal, Mancy, A.C. Milan, Barcelona, Bettis, whoever they're playing in America, right? All of these clubs have, you know, kind of a travel people that look after all the travel, look after all the travel, the facilities that they stand there. And I can't understand and I know what's going to come at me straight away. It's all about money. But honestly, or torn up in America for a shitload of money, let's be honest about it. And they cannot lay a pitch in front of these teams to play football. They genuinely can. They can't play in pitches wide enough, right? They can't play in pitches wide enough. They can't find grass to put down on the ground. And people are saying, air pitch looked already. Air pitch was proxy, right? It was slow. You could see the ball holding up as you're trying to pass on it. At one stage, he went for a drinks break. And there's a guy randomly walking around with his big steel fucking bucket, pouring sand into potholes, right? It was unreal. Do you know what I mean? They're only laying them pitches about three days before I understand that. But listen, this is the thing. If they're only going to lay pitches three days beforehand, and Liverpool and Manchester, all these teams are put torn up with squads war in excess of 500 million quid. Surely the club should be torn down. Listen, that has to be better. I'll just go to an MLS stadium and play in an MLS stadium that has a standard soy's football pitch under FIFA rules. And even if it's 4G play, it's safer. Because Gordon Jones, I think, holds himself the other day, right? And I think the pitch might have something to do with it. I want you to know your last night and your oil goes down, oiling goes down, right? A couple look a bit nervy on these pitches. The pitches you could see, like, it was like someone went to your local DIY, you should drop, like woodies. But you know the roll of grass. It's like it was a load of that with your mate. I'm just going to extend my garden a little bit here. And I just, I can't understand, like, why clubs are allowing this to happen? And I know it sounds a bit grumpy, old man. But like, honestly, we could be sitting here now in a 3B time going, that player is over three or four months. He's badly, badly done his ankle on a pitch where he was literally ever part of water on a Jordan water breaks, spraying water all over the place. And filling potholes with sand. Like, come on. This is not just, not just like going into foot on the Americans, but we've seen that at World Cups, we've seen a rugby World Cups. I think it was the most recent rugby World Cup. They were going for scrums. And the pitch was ripping up in front of the way. I can't remember where the last rugby World Cup was. But yeah, look, it's, it is a hazard. And if a pitch isn't fifth or purpose, I don't know who signs up on it. Like, you're right, these, these players are expensive. I think they're laying them over American football pitches, Eddie. It's grass. And as somebody said, it wasn't last week, grass is different that they play American football compared to what they play football on. Listen, I don't know what I'm saying is, like, if you watch, if you watch the, if you watch the Liverpool game, Illinois, right, from about three yards inside the touchline on both sides, the color of the grass was completely different to the rest of the pitch. Completely different to the rest of the pitch. And they're asking, you know, last night, and you're looking at it and they couldn't move the ball around. The ball is just slowing up on everything. Like, you know, like people are laughing, you know. So that grass issue are an irrigation issue. I don't know what it is, but it to me, it seems like they're just fucking dry grass thrown down, you know what I mean? And they're trying to get water onto the speed of up because they know it's a slow surface. Do you know what I mean? And like, people are laughing, "Oh, you're a winger already." And it's not, it's not even funny. You know, that lad comes out, goes to play and just literally the next thing he's gone. Do you know what I mean? And super, as I said, there's a ground staff not inspected, but what are they going in? This is what I'm saying. Well, let me put it all away, depending on all these things to win an inch of the lawyers, like where we're going, what we're doing, media, all this stuff. Surely the pitch has to be, like, literally the most important thing. You know, it sounds, I know it sounds a bit like Roy Kane and Slowly Planner, but you have to expect something to be, you know, playable on. Do you know what I mean? Like, it'd be like, you know, in American football team, turning up around feeling going, "Well, this is not what we playing." Like, it's not good enough for us, like, to be fucking all sorts of stuff going on. But I just haven't mentioned it because I just think, like, when I was watching the game, you know, it didn't even add to the whole experience of watching the game. You could see the bar was so slow, it was bubbly, it was different color pitches, but it felt like going around with the play, the book, it sounded like he was feeling appalled. He was literally reaching into the ground, like, to grab the grass back open and try to put sand into it. That's when it's when it's not knitted together and it's only been laid a couple of days. It will, it does come up and close. But Shawnee made a great point. But Shawnee made a great point. He said, "Kav, these are in green NFL stadiums, they aren't being used for months. They haven't been used for months. The NFL finishes in February. February, I'm asking for a day of February. So, would they not be having concerts and all of these things? I don't know. But listen, if they're going to, if they're paying that amount of money for Liverpool to come over. Just say this and that pitch has to go down for six weeks before that and it started. Do you know what I mean? We're paying this, it's a big, it's a big, you know, thing that's going to happen. This team is coming over where we're hosting all these teams. It's just like, it's absolutely, I think it's just absolutely crazy. And I know it sounds like I'm just mowing, but honestly... Do you ever actually have shares in the Pittsburgh Steelers? I think it's horrendous. People go on about... And the funny thing is, they don't give it a mention. When it's in America. But if you go off the plate, in Thailand or Singapore, it's all about how old the pitch, how old up and boom, boom, boom, and you're like, that's... You hear it in the Premier League? Put the pitch in the Premier League. It's actually an tactic in the Premier League. Put it on the pitch when you come up against a person. Yeah, but the pitch in the pitch in Thailand, fortunately, it's the right size. It's a football pitch, you know what I mean? And it will play already. I'm just... But when you go to America, don't say anything about the pitch, that's... Don't mind that the two strips down this way are different colors and fall in the parrot, like it's... I just think it's absolutely insane. But looking at Broimofe, he says, "I'm gone full-roiking." And this pitch looks like a car pack. Yeah, listen, it's... You know, it was... It's just... Listen, I'd watch Liverpool playing in a car pack, but I don't want to see Liverpool players coming in and possibly missing the start of the season because a pitch is dry, it's bumpy, it's not late-roy, it's being thrown down three days beforehand. If that's the case, just hold on to playing on the NFL pitches. Put on a word, look you see. That's the problem. Extanger NFL pitch. I'd just say that's the sort of which I'm playing on. Come here, look at the times we used to rock up our second... What was the name of the... What's the stadium? Oh, we have a pack. I used to play on a baseball crowd. Yeah, yeah. There were like these manas, like, there'd be a crowd there and then all of a sudden the pitch comes in at the NFL four heavy artists and it's just hardings. Yeah, but it's... We played Rome in early every year. Yeah, but at least the grass that's in the... Yeah, yeah. The part of that pitch was... was layered properly, do you know what I mean? And it looked like they made the effort. Look, they do the same in the... Is it the... Is it the Yankee stadium as well, they're playing? Yeah, I don't know where man C.E. played. I think it's somewhere where... Wherever New York C.E. played. You can still see the deployment, like... Oh, no, but at least... But the chances are is that they put that there on and said, really, that stays like that now, you know what I mean? Whatever, for whatever level of the time. But anyway, it is what it is. Liverpool against Betis. Under forcing the true, true up to me, and it was 40 minutes in. It's what we're playing in a different way. We're playing in a different way. We would... We'd get our goalkeeper to pass it to our centre-back, you might go to the fall-back, you might go back, but this is literally tapped the ball to the centre-back out-back. Like, I came to the one stage, I think we made about 12 passes. I mean, we weren't outside the coin, the D of the box. It was all about drawing people in and stuff like that. And when you're watching stuff like that, I know I'm going to put my hands up, my nails are fucking dumb watching it. You know what I mean? Because a couple of times, once I made a mistake, van de Berg made a mistake, we ran to midfield in a minute, but it's a very... It's very, it's very risky, what to do. Very risky. I mean, but it's a different way of playing. And this is all with the idea of your midfield, you know, getting more involved here. I mean, granted a few minutes, but it was different, wasn't it? You could see it from the off. Yeah, well, it's... Look, I thought we saw it a little bit last year, but like you said, not to the extent, and it looks like it's going to be something that we're going to have to get used to it. Now, look, we may have learned an awful lot, but at still time, still the same time learned very little, especially what Slav said afterwards. But yeah, it is going to be hard to mount stuff. Oh, I do think that the players that we have are good enough on the ball to look, there's going to be a mistake, isn't there? At some stage. Yeah, the way that the way center halves and right backs and full backs have developed these days is that they're nearly as good on the ball as midfielders. They are basically just deep alloying midfielders these days. They're so good on the ball. So look, it's another new way for us, and it will be hearts and mouths, and depending on obviously who's playing. But it is good to see, I know we had a conversation, we were talking about Manchester United, and what I said was, is when you watch Liverpool, you can see what way he wants to play. When you watch two years into the thing, you just don't know what way they're going to play. So it's always good to turn around, first game, I know they played press in behind the closed doors, but even when you saw the highlights of that, you could see those different ways of playing, but it's good to see that there's something different. Especially now, like we said, there's a whole start in the level nearly still away, but it's good to see that everybody is going to know the job, because like we were talking earlier on, it was a fan saying, "Ah, but we're missing half our team." But your team that's on the pitch, your team should have a stoyler play, a culture of how you played football, and it doesn't change regardless of who it is, one to a level. But it was good to switch it on and see an immediate kind of, "Oh, hang on, something's different here." Yeah, well, it was different, because I'm used to Liverpool playing the ball to Van Dijk, he might go out of the rubber team, he'd come back, and then he'd switch across the matter, but we'll look to come out with the ball, and maybe set it off to the fall back, or put it in the midfield, and it's probably, it's a possession base in that part of the pitch, put it in a bigger space, if you know what I mean. Liverpool use, you play in the space between, say, the edge of the centre, circle, and air box, or the earth's six-yard box. I imagine that going into space, where this seems to be similar football, but we're dealing between a six-yard box, and probably halfway between the box and the half and then sort of condensing it down, and I think the idea is that you drag people into a smaller area, and then you're able to get out, and when you get out, it's opening up more of the, you know, part of half of the pitch, and wherever it is, beyond that, obviously, the opposition half, and it's, and in fairness, I want to go through a couple of players, but I'm not saying it's completely different. We do play possession for bottom of the back on the yoga club, but it was in a bigger area. This is more condensed and close to our goal. With the idea that your job as low as you're ready, it's then getting into space and pick up the ball and look to supply whoever it might be. Kevin Sullivan says he's not a fan of it, but this is the way he's going to play. He's going to play. Broing Morpheus's Alison is a model to be caught on the ball for a goal this season, maybe so. Come here, he'd be a model to be caught on the ball for a goal every year, so look. Yeah, and the thing here is in fairness, too. You might get caught once a season, but listen, you let him away, because the team goes over the rest of the season, far outweighs, and being caught once a season. But in fairness, Alison might get away with a bleeding, a hairy one, and then he just goes right, that's enough. And then he, you know, he just starts kicking ball, but, um, sent our backs, said, find the bag, I was really impressed with. Um, you know, and again, it's a preseason game, but let's just go on what we watched. Really good in the air, good along the ground, pass was good. One, one pass where he absolutely lashed on. It might be an end of our Jones, you know, like Jesus are killing, you know what I mean? By all means get the pass there, but he absolutely hammered it up, man. We, we, we got into a little bit of trouble, but said, find the bag was good. Quants was really good. Took his oil off one in the second half, got a bucket, and because he, it just elapsed in concentration. But overall, the center backs were really good. And I was interested, because Quants said after the game, he was, you know, he felt like the senior, kind of player at the back, I don't know, because players left back, but he felt like the senior, that the guy that had to lead the back for. And it's different because when he plays before, can I say, or Gomez or Matt up or Van Dijk, he wasn't that. And he comes out and does an interview after it. You can see his progression, can't you? On the pitch and even off it. Yeah. And it's, it's, it's great to see that because I remember talking, Jesus, most of it about a year and a half ago, when Canante had to come in early, when Van Dijk was out, Canante had to assume that, and then you could see him leading and talking the lads through games, giving out orders, all that kind of stuff, to now see that you could possibly have another leader that doesn't need to be led at the back. Now, obviously, if Van Dijk is beside him, he'll still be the boss man, but it's great to see them kind of assume that role. And he's just, I think Quants's role, Royce, I think he's going to, I think he could take the second place this season, the start and center half beside Van Dijk. Were you on the show of Major on the week when we were picking three young players? We're looking at how far you picked Quants. I picked boy Chet Dijk. But this one, that's what I'm saying about Quants. He, it's absolutely, I think, I feel it's there, and this is, if him and, if him and Canante want to have a stray foyer over a brilliant, because that's just competition, but I genuinely feel the moment he's in at the moment, he should be absolutely looking to be four-choice center half a level. Regardless of what he did on the market, which I think he will do something, but I think it's absolutely there for him. You know what I mean? I don't know what he did last season. He played left center back. I know people tell you, people make up to make two-week of a deal of playing left center back and right center back. There are two completely different positions I've tried to play about, and I can just play one better than the other. It's just, I don't know whether it's an awareness on the pitch, or as you just feel more comfortable, but he's played left center back and he's played Royce at the back. Have we seen Canante play left but center back or we only seen him play Royce at the back? No, I think he's... Have we seen Van Doig play Royce at the back? Oh, we only seen him. I think it's the only one that's played. Both of it. All positions. And has done so, okay. Yeah, sure, okay. He's never the new Milner, isn't he? He's playing everywhere, Byron Gull. Yeah. But on set, I thought he looked really assured on the ball as well, so going back to talking about how we're playing out from the back, he had some nice touches. I thought maybe asking 10-15 Milner was probably a little bit too much. Like he didn't look out of a place the other night. He looks like the time at mine's time away play. I think he was playing... Was he playing wing back? I think he was playing right back. I left back. Was he for Preston? I don't mean he was playing so bad. Yeah, he's playing right wing back. He's playing center, is playing kind of like fourth choice, if he does end up being fourth choice, I think, I'm being fourth choice. Is that good enough for him? I don't know. Do you know what? I mean, I'm interested. I'll be interested to see him now, I'll be interested to see him now against Preston. I'll be interested to see him during the week because I think, you know, I watched Preston last night. Hayes Hughes was a handful. Harvitz was a handful. And Kettie was a handful when he came on. Martin Elie was off the chain when he came off last night. He was against a really young, you know, he would fall back, but he just came on and just went away. And then he showed it for the 20 minutes or so he was on. So it would be a much stiffer test during the weekend. But overall, I think van de Breo done great. Sima Cass just very safe on him. But and I felt a bit sorry for him. He looked a bit for work for the safety he was trying to be. He looked a bit pointless in it. And that's no reflection on him because there was something going on on the left hand side where Carvalier was on the left. Sima Cass was behind him and earlier seemed to drop in like it was treating him down the left hand side. It was really, really strange. And I don't know whether that kind of got in Sima Cass's way. If he wanted to go forward, he was good in the tackle. Don't get me wrong. I just felt any impact he could have had in the game was going to nullify boy, Elie coming over here. And it was obviously a tactic. What we're doing was we were bringing Saboza into the middle and Elie ago left. And then Saboza went really, Elie would go center and he would just move and deal still across the pitch. But I have to give a shout out to Carvalier, he was fucking outstanding. Some engine on him opened down some lovely touches linking well with Sal and knew where the funny thing was he knew where to be all the time when Salah had the ball. He gets a chance. Adrian makes a good save. He's good defensively, really good kind of interception at the back post at one stage. Strong, some lovely tones. Do you know what? It would be easy for him to go. He's made and kind of rest on his laurels. He was an absolute machine for the time you played there, do you know what I mean? And I'm not overplaying him. I don't want to over reckon because you know, all what's going on with Trent, he's just, he's an athlete as well. But you know what, he's a footballer as well. I think last season we're really excited about him. And again, I know it's better in a preseason friendly, but just the things he's dealing the way he's carrying himself, even though there's a 60/40 ball in the opposition's favor, I feel like he'll win. He just seems to, you know, impose himself. It was really cool. Yeah, but he seems to, and again, not to go back to it, he seems to always end up in the box, in the corner of the box. That's kind of what you want, but you said he gets back as well. But he is a really, really good footballer, too. I don't, I'm conscious of talking about Trent, but you can see what way Trent to be, but not whether it's as fair as we know, he's staying, it's whether he signs a contract or not, but you can see what way he would kind of flourish, or he would imagine from that type of role, where how much Bradley was getting forward. And how wide they were getting, how wide the wingers were getting as well. But yeah, Bradley is, I think, I saw a headline earlier on, he said he feels the fit, he's never felt, he feels good, he feels extremely strong, he feels like he's matured a little bit over the summer as well. So, look, I think he's an excellent football. I think he needs a few stakes, but he loves the tackle, like, you know what I mean? And you saw when Trent Force came in, he was, he was Mommy and I let her show later, you know what I mean? But, and he, he failed out. That'll happen more than likely with Bradley as well, but I think we have a really good one there. Yeah, I think he'll play right wing as well. Yeah, but that's the name I'm saying. He's, it's a great headache to have. I think it's a great headache to have, you know, and look, again, it'll fall into the, the argument will fall into the slot of, you know, all the up who treaded them in fear, because boy, where you have Bradley is there, you know, people are saying there about Trent's being pictured in training, I think he's in LA at the minute, is he? And in training, so in California, anyway. Sorry, I came probably me now is here. Sorry, just tell you now. I'm not fucking, there's a hair ground from me mustache and it's ground upwards, and it's taken me fucking nostril. Do you never get that? No. Yeah, there's one just decided to grow that way rather than that way. I just tick them, decide to be now. So just in case anybody want to want to keep waiting for me, fucking knows. Yeah, okay. You need to be better prepared next time. You need to check, you know, don't be scared that the syringe team said, right, we'll go lower than this. But yeah, look, I just think it's a really nice headache to have. Trent looks absolutely ripped in training and wherever he's doing some training on his own and stuff like that. And then, yeah, look, he's he's due back in the next week or so. But like you said, it's again, it's all about a squad. And if you want to play Trent, Roy back, and you say that Bradley, you're back up fine, like, have it's like, Bradley is six months into the Liverpool career, realistically. Do you know what I mean? I know he's been there a couple of years and he's had a couple of league cup games, he's gone after Bolton and stuff with that. But he's six months into his four team Liverpool career, proper. So it's, I don't, I don't expect, um, I don't think, I don't expect Bradley to be walking around going on the best way back in this club. And you know, I don't expect that. But like you said, he's very subtle, you know what I mean? Like you could see him, you could see him playing right side in my field. You could even see him playing a kind of advanced midfield role. He just has a running parrot about him, but I'm getting way ahead of myself. I just call back to the whole last season, like when, when we were doing the inverted thing, he even did that and wound up in the center of midfield and did all right. I think that he played against Fulham. I think when we did a watch along, he might have been playing, wasn't he? I think he did play against Fulham. And he was inverting and found himself in the middle of midfield a few times and did well. So, yeah, um, John, oh, says this trend Madrid stuff is getting a little bit too much to go. He's being spotted in night. Clothes were half the Madrid to him. How's he? Uh, he's sewing in Madrid shorts. Um, just how the club you'll want to save us double chances, John? Well, we wait, let's wait and see what goes on. Um, I'm, I'm still standing boy. I don't think he's a Liverpool player in 12 months. I want to be wrong. I want to be like, so wrong, but that's where I still am. Um, you know, I've seen, I've seen reports, you know, articles saying all trends are said. You can't wait to get back and start with Liverpool and start with a new manager. He wants to spend his career Liverpool, and I don't know how recent those comments are and stuff like that. I don't even know if the comments about getting back and doing stuff. I really don't, I don't want to believe anymore. And because people just make them up like, like the other one the other day where, um, someone wrote a headline saying, I'm glad he's gone, caught his chance to look at your club, and no longer I'll ever call it. But someone touched on it. I'm not even John, I'm actually Adam's the midfield and pre-season are not, um, attacked and those struggled. Yeah. I think he really struggled. Now, a couple of things to this, I don't think the pitch helps anybody. Right. And I think you see at the other end of the picture, betters, betters, Troy wants our toys to play out, play out and they decide this isn't fucking walking. And you know, not that Liverpool are pressing really well, but you could see it was better for trying to actually hear kind of diagonals and, and, and switching the ball rather than just gonna pass on the floor. So there's, there's a few caveats to this. I think the pitch is one. It's the fourth game of pre-season, you know, um, still trying to find their way and stuff like that. But overall, I looked at endo and I think his limitations, his limitations, and we all know his limitations as limitations is his ability on the ball. Right. Everything else, I'm absolutely fine. You know, walk rate, tackling, pressing the ball, winning tackles, whatever. I'm absolutely 100% all over that. But his limitation is on the ball. And I think you showed, you know, I think the couple of times, a couple of times he got it and his touch wasn't, wasn't good enough. And that can be pre-season. But I think his ability to hold off people pressing and his ability to move the ball really fast, you know, and, and play the angles and move it. It just wasn't there. And Jones wasn't much better. I'm going to be honest. The only thing I would say for Jones is he did take a nice couple of touches that opened his body out and he, and he moved into midfield. He makes a couple of errors as well, you know, and again, throw those caveats to the deployable. When I look through it, I'm thinking, I think Graven Birch does a better job there. Right. Um, in a football and sense, the carrots are more certainly those, but I'm not a big fan of my carrots that deep, I'd rather have a little bit ahead of the play. And I think it did show up. If you're going to sign someone in the summer, that has to be a number one. It has to be. And I know people will think though, that's just you overreacting off one game. It's not because we know it's limitations. And from two minutes into from 40 seconds into this game on Friday, Friday night into Saturday morning, wherever it was, right? You could see you were playing in a smaller space, more intensity to the past and looking for angles and looking to draw teams in. And it doesn't suit. It simply doesn't suit me. I've seen, I was in this world, but keeping in the squad though, I'm not saying fucking out. Oh, yeah. Yeah. That's more. Unless we get somebody else here. I think if we get somebody else in, I think we, we, we cash in, we got back to my saying that, yeah, it was the four day a minute. But I think I was, isn't it? I'm feeling right there. And they said it could have been down to the global sessions as well. But like you said, we saw him last year. I mean, Palace guard ago, point dispossessing him, turns out we got pulled back about two minutes later to say that was a foul on him. He can't. He's really good at winning the ball back. I think at one stage on the best game, he actually wins the ball back on the edge of our box, actually just inside the box really well. Yeah. But again, he gets his head up and gets the ball to his feet or getting it ready to move it out with feet. There's another better player on top of them. He takes it off and I think he shoots, just goes by the bottom post. But yeah, he just, I don't think it's hardness. I don't think it's double sessions. Like you're saying, it's the first game back. We saw it when he had a run against last year as well. He doesn't, he can't move the ball quick. We need to be doing those. I think we've seen these little small little triangles. And I'm not sure he's makes any part of a triangle. I think they. But we have, we've caught the Jones telling us it's the most comfortable. He feels it might be the most comfortable system and type of play to see who's getting it. I think it's the exact stops of Fred, no. I think I know much rather a manager coming and go, listen, we're going back to this agricultural fucking, you know, function in midfield. We're going to get it down the wings. We're going to play down the wings. We're going to play it into a false noise and you're going to be there to bright things up and press and he go, yeah, that's me all day long, fucking toys on this. You know what I mean? And it just doesn't suit. And it's not part of it's down to pictures and different things. But it just, you could see it in them. There was one, you don't know where he got the ball. He was about on the highway on a little bit inside that bets his box or a half and he gets the ball. And what happens is he takes control of it, right? And then he turns and he takes about a second to think, where am I dealing with this? And his body stops and bet his pressing and he tries to play it back towards the center. I can do them horribly short and bet his go on the run. Now, that can happen. But it was more when I was watching it go on, this fella's not on the same wavelength here, you know what I mean? And for me, I don't know if you play two in that midfield. I don't know if you play one, you know, what I mean? Deep, deep blowing this thing. But you have to have somebody that is nearly like exemplary on the ball. You know, give it to me with anybody around me. I'll take it. I'll pop it off. I'll move, bump, bump, bump, bump. And I think you need someone. I don't know who will assume a man is getting a big show. But the rumor is Superman. He doesn't want to leave Spain. But it did hoylo for me. If you're going to play this way, I think end up becomes a squad member. For if you're winning game, you need fucking to dig in, you know, the sort of if you're in game, such a completely on top and they're dropped off, fine. But if you're playing any one's the pressure and they will be so, they'll be so looking to pressure when you see the way you're playing, you know, yeah, that sitting deeper with this personal route, personal route from the back is that just gives me chills now if you've got end up sitting there in front of the two centre backs waiting to receive the ball and you'll be. I don't think you have to be. I don't think you have to be like, like a Javi Alonso range of pass to be in that team. Because when I look from the Mosley, don't look what they're looking to do with it with with endo and court is Jones and like I said, I don't know if it'll end up with two or one or whatever it might be. What I'm looking for someone there is is that we can play the ball into you and we know your coach is going to be amazing. You're going to know where you're putting it, right? When it comes in, you're going to either take a touch and pass or you're going to just straightaway pass it and you're going to be able to move and make the angles. I don't need to look for someone to come in and go here, give us the ball corner step hit involves 50 yards. I don't think that's what it is. I think they just need someone that controls this area deep in the pitch and allows them your fall backs or your centre backs to get a beyond you into whoever's beyond you whether that's a Sabo or a McAllister. And that's what I think you're looking for. And I just don't think you end up coaching, you know. And I argue looking at Jones, you don't need to see call it. Because I think Jones is very press resistant, but I'm always be aware even when he's deep, really deep. You know what I mean? Because I think he tries to, if someone puts pressure on him, instead of just getting himself able to situation, you know, putting your body in and kind of digging away out, he tries to beep, beep players. You know, let's start away. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And it was interesting, it was interesting to watch, but then this young lad comes out and listen, coach Jones, overall, you don't know, okay, I thought it was some nice little passages from him that was one or two where he messed up. It was two very in quick succession. But then they bring on training only, right? I know he managed to go, but he came on and I went, oh, that's this young lady as a child, like, you know what I mean? He's so slow, you know, he's, you know, he's not the smallest and hoyter, I don't think he is. But he was a pleasure to watch. He was an absolute pleasure to watch because it was nearly like he watched 24 minutes of this game and went, I'm going to do this quicker than them. And the bar blocked him to me. He actually loses the part of the force and he gets, he loses it because he's like, fuck right now, I have the pace of it. And he just popped the pass off, popped the pass off, popped the pass off, then drift the boy somebody, drop the shoulder and didn't look to do anything mental, drop the shoulder and got it to somebody, drop the shoulder, milled the bit and got it to somebody. I love watching him. And I'm not saying he'll play 20 games, 10 games for the next season. He was only 17, but that's the sort of player you need. Someone that's gone, has a brilliant touch, can move away from a player, but he was constantly playing and moving, playing and moving and moving. He looks out relaxed as well. Yeah, because Beth has got into the game before ergo or before it unfolds water, like, and then he comes on and it's just he's winning things, he's pressing. Really nice to watch. Just to go back, I know we've kind of moved on from Endo. Endo's nearly the opposite, when Endo receives the ball, he nearly kind of, you can nearly see him panicking and training only looks. Oh yeah, I thought he was a forward. I didn't think he had that in his locker, but yeah, it was just, and he's always looking to regress the ball as well. Yeah, he sets up the goal, doesn't he? He gives the ball out to Salah. Yeah, it won't. I mean, he gets into Salba's low. Salba's like the Salah back to Salba's low in his goal, but it was just, and it was just, it looks so, it looks so simple. Like, we've spoken last year about these young fellas coming into the team, and it was like, geez, they look like they've, they've played in this team for years. And I know we spoke separately earlier about this whole being that's because we played the same way all the way down through the age groups. So these boys have been playing football, like, do you mean, dissimilar to the way the club's story was all the way down through. Yeah, he's come in a few times, club obviously taught an awful lot of them, slot obviously thinks an awful lot of them now as well, but it's like something along the lines of he knew what was going on with the players that we have that constantly played because you see them, you watch them, but he's been most impressed, and he's not saying that he's not impressed with them. Well, he's been most impressed with it, it's how good these young fellas actually are. And look, I noticed lots of players missing a lot, and people are saying, oh, he should have brought on by Chetich. I think I'm not sure he wanted to go with two kind of defensively minded, or even Martin. Didn't want to go with two more defensively minded in there. He wanted somebody that was probably going to progress the ball, and they only, they only came on, and he was, he was, he was a joy to watch. And now we're not getting carried away, and somebody said, you know, it's better, so whatever, but still, he's a footballer. He is a footballer, and the thing is, like, yeah, I know you always do it. I always look at these games with a, you know, a hint of, look, like, let me see him against Arsenal. That's what Michael in the view on it. But it wasn't, it wasn't like he was, you know, it wasn't like he was, he was dealing, you know, outrageous things, flashes, like, you know, not in the game or for him, and then they weren't something like a matric, or, you know, and you go, whoa, that's bleeding deadly, and there's no substance to it. It was just he came in and went, okay, I'm playing deep in my field here, and I'll just make sure that these fellas don't get the ball, and the fellas are even playing with you. And I make sure I give them in the right angles. And he stepped away from one of two players, and he's just gone, you know. And the most interesting bit of it was for me. He talked to Saboza after the game, and Saboza really opened it after the game was nice, and Saboza saw was, um, quantity fair, and he said to him, training only, like, Jones gets a little knock, and I was all, I was like, literally get him off the pitch. I'm not having this get off the fucking pitch. I don't care how minor it is. He looked like he was hitting an arm as the weather. Yeah, and then they just went off and he gave the thumbs up as he walked off, but they were like, no, off assessed. That's the end of it. Um, and first of all, the first car is to bring training only, right? Because he don't budget it. You could have done, and I love boy jetty, by the way, sorry, budget it, boy jetty, wherever you want to go. I love him, right? Um, he could have brought on Martin, but he doesn't, he brings this ladder, right? And that's a little tail. I think that's a little tail. But, but when you, when you, when he comes on, it's, I just thought he was brilliant, and, and Saboza, he said to Saboza, it was great to see him being trusted to be brought on, and he's involved in your goal, because he's parroted that meal between the three. And he goes, yeah, he's brilliant. He's brilliant. He said, we can't even fail him and train him. He said, because you go, even if you look to fail, you can't get him, because there's movement down his body, movement, and the way he manipulates the ball, and manipulates the situations he's in. Um, he was just, Saboza was like, not raving about him, but really, really complimentary about that. Look, he's, he's really, really good. He's only 17. And we have to kind of keep, not keep on the rasp, but you know, temper expectations a little bit. He's 17. You know what I mean? No, COVID, you have COVID mania and stuff like that. I love mania, he was a footballer. But I think it's a sign, like we talk about Liverpool, all these players throughout the age group, but learning. It's just a team now. If you're a footballer in an academy for the Premier League and whatever club it might be, you must be able to take a ball, you must be able to hold it, you must be able to manipulate it, and that's it. You're not a midfielder, it just goes down past the fucking me on brutal. You know what I mean? I'll tackle and I'll run down past me. They're all, it's all breathing into the nail. You must be able to take a football, and you must be able to order whole lot of players, falling angles, go past them, move with the midfield, and not even spray passes. There's not many young players throughout the angle, he's just a passer overall. They're all, and they're not even all action. They're just really good at these small things, and the here's what I was really talking about with that, I thought was really, really good. You know, Jones has to go off, you have to see what's going on there. Caravaleo looked lost for me, looked lost, and there's been some common stuff coming out afterwards, and he's going to say he's spoken to sloths, sloths, going to talk to him about being out on the wing. He feels he's a number 10, you know, has ruled out a move this summer and stuff like that. I don't think, I'm not too sure if he talks about a move, but we're not saying I'm definitely staying in the car, so that's not me ruling out a move. But he looked, and again, the fact that Elliot was pulling onto that side quite a lot, just for me, it just felt a bit disjointed down the left hand side. They're very similar as well, aren't they? Yeah. But both of them want to do. Both of them, I think probably, but not so much. Have you ones probably to come out a bit? No, he's not probably used to playing on the left, and Caravaleo probably wants to be more in-field, especially with his current after the match, which I didn't particularly like, whatever, like so. Yeah, I just don't think he has, I don't think he has what it takes to be a Liverpool football player. So what I'm going to mean by that is so you tell Kumas, Dan, Clark, any of those boys that are coming on, and I'm going to put you here, or I need you to play here, whatever, not a peep out of them. They're just going to get the one. For someone of his age, why is he 19, is he 20, 19 or 20? Yeah, somewhere around there, not far off. Like, you're now noting in the game compared to the people that are trying to avoid, you know what I mean? You look at some of the players like Caravale, as a prime example, probably in and around about the same age, he's played out on the Roy, he's played number eight, he's played in the middle, he's played out left now for Liverpool, he's played when you get a chance to play in the team, you play wherever you're asked to play, and if a manager sees something in it, or thinks that you could probably do better out on the left, or whatever, you do it, you try it, you don't say, no, no, I'm not even paraphrasing, because we don't know what his exact quote was, but to say, now I think I'm more of a 10 than a winger, like, it's just, it's not, to me, it's not the right attitude. There has been issues of his attitude, our question marks around his attitude in the past, you were saying about Simikas, and Elliot coming across, I don't think he would provide much support if he was to end the plan on the left, I don't think defensive minded, I don't, I don't think he wants to work, I think he, he likes all the fancy fluffy stuff, and I don't think he has a in him to kind of dig in and yeah, you know, in fairness, he goes the whole, and I know it's the championship, broing feels he's not at the required level, he feels he's a championship player, and maybe that, maybe that is the case, but you know, he goes there, and the championship's not easy, you don't go, you don't win championship games, but you're having a lot, you know, lads that are just like, you know, he can just hang up there, and he's grand, you know, like, I felt that it, when I was watching this, you don't know, I just felt like, Elliot was getting in the way, and I'm not saying Elliot had a poor game, I thought he walked out, and there's a couple of nice things, he was, he was really in the game, but he was affecting the boy where he was positioning himself, and I think I would have liked him to see Elliot just kind of piss off at 10 minutes, and say are you wanting to midfield and stay in there every minute, and let these two see what they can do, do you know what I mean, it's come along and make that kind of triangle between the trees, but Elliot was literally standing, like, there was one stage where betters have the ball four and half, and Elliot is standing on the left side of the midfield, and Cavallio's 20 yards behind him, right, directly in the line behind him, and Simic has his 10 yards behind him again, now whether that's a present thing, Elliot has to go over here to press, or whatever it might be, but it felt like it was over crowded on that side, and I don't think you don't Cavallio, and I don't think you don't Simic has any benefit whatsoever, it felt like it was, I understand the midfield are coming from the middle of midfield, saying I'll be an angle for me full back, or I'll be an angle for that left midfielder to get the ball back, and we can just look at it, but it felt like he was way too far over, so every time Simic has went to look to play at the Cavallio, Elliot was nearly there, do you know what I mean, but if those comments, Ashley has the comment there, she said, "We spoke about it and slucked home to try and settle on the wing, but obviously I know where I play best, and I feel that is in the number 10, I think I can play better there." But we played two number 10s, you know, and he didn't put them in there, you know, this whole idea of number 10s is a bit of a romantic thing now for me, playing in the 10, it feels like if you're a luxury, they'll put you in the 10, but that's not how it walks anymore. All teams, you know, you think you're a 10, but name me a 10 or more football. Maybe a 10, where you go, that's why there's just a 10, and he doesn't need to defend, and he can't do anything, and I tell you, if there is 10s or more football, they'll probably play with teams where you go, "He's a lazy bastard." That's how it is now, you're not going to start the way, but he's probably, he's getting another chance, he probably would. You'd like to think he was misquoted, but unfortunately the question marks around his attitude that we've seen before, when he went after Leipzig and kind of said stuff about Clap and stuff, I just, I just don't think he has the, it may not pass that daycare test, if we're still there on it, I just think he thinks an awful lot of himself, and I think he could probably do it, maybe listening a little bit more, I take an advice, like, and now it's completely different, but when I used to coach more ultimately, he thought he was a striker, couldn't kick his arm off or up, so he went back and he was either said to have, no, no, in terms of scoring, you know what I mean, he wasn't a striker, he wasn't, he's better off with the game of front of him, so he was either right back or left back or said to have, he was a defender. Sometimes you need a coach to say, "I think he will do better there," and this fellow just thinks he knows better than the manager, or someone that's in the game a hell of a lot longer than, that's just the kind of, that's the kind of vibe that I get off of, and I think, cash in, get your, what would we get, 15, 20 million for him? He'd probably look like a 15 million, based on what they were paying from, and the season he has will hold, you might get someone in the Premier League that will take a job on him, but the chat, I would say, you know, if I'm taking away from the fact that he is an extremely talented footballer. Oh yeah, well, just don't think he's, he seems, he won't fit in with what I don't think. Maybe so, but I think he'd be with us on the tour, and then we'd see what happened. Saba's lawyer gets the gold, Salah, look, look sharp, and in fairness to all the players, there was, I know it was quite a few times where I play, I might make a run, I'm not even a run, like I'm not saying the run behind the fence, we make a move into a certain space, expecting it to get it, and then it didn't happen, and you can see them kind of stronger hands up as you have to say, like this is what we're walking on, and you're not the owner, you're not a sort of way, but I enjoy it, I actually enjoy seeing that happen, because it was like, really, just clearly, they're trying patterns here, and quantum mentions the patterns afterwards, and there was a great little bit of a 10 minute team where the ball runs out of play, and there's not a lull, but players are going to start slowing down, and next of all, Bette's shoulder ball, and the fallback back to the center back, and slots on the sideline, go, go, go, go, go, and he's pushing them, and they'll be able to, as a four, just come up four, and bump, straight up on top of them, and it's like, really, where are you going now? Go back to that keeper, I'm going to press him, put him in the midfield, and we're going to try a beach, and we're going to try a winner, so it was really nice to see different things going on. Anticos is large, I think it's more important, remember the same fella, Troy had cover up Hillsborough, Mackenzie was due to have an evening at Liverpool Philharmonic, and I see your cancel, I did see some of it due to the day, I think it was, it was somebody, it was something, Dale, or something, was the person's name, was due to hold some sort of the evening at the Philharmonic in Liverpool, but apparently this guy has written books for maybe Mackenzie and somebody else, and when it was pointed out to the Philharmonic in Liverpool, the cancel the event, so fair play, and I think they were quite quick to cancel the event and say, no, no, not happening, community is more important to us than, than, you know, getting somebody in here, the things that they started doing, so that was kind of knitted in the boat, I don't know if it was knitted in the boat, nice and quick, but I, I've seen, the 416 of it was Carrot Roberts, and he, he, Ian Dale from LBC, but he put up saying, here's the official statement from the Philharmonic, and fair play, the Philharmonic for doing what you've done, and it's a nice bit of a variance, and you like toilet, you're a big man for the toilet, they've lovely, kind of, standard class. Holiday, just in case anybody's, yeah, that's the best toilet in Liverpool. Paul, they've lovely stained glass windows in the, in the toilet of the Philharmonic, it's really nice, I'll bring you for a point, yeah, well, we've got, we've got one point, and some players that come on second half, boy Chet, it looked okay, but in fairness, he bounced out with him, Carvalio wanted to tell you it was hilarious to watch. We didn't, Carvalio was just going around hammering into fellas, and then no, no, I'm not bother chasing that. We got the ball to be great, but we don't get it, fucking, you know, look, we don't get it, we don't get it, we don't get it, dog, the pole, the pole bet is full back, it was terrible for the dog, and I thought Martin was really good when he come on, found his place, but moved, but moved it, moved it, and progressed it well, and, you know, came back, got deep, and, yeah, the last thing, come on, no matter, except, except, not Phillips, Holy fucking Jesus. When the bar came near him, and again, I'll give him a bit, I'll give him a few, I'll leave a few marks on there for the pitch, but when the bar came near him, and he was like, yeah, listen, lads were playing, and they're like, you know, the width of the pitch, and 10 meters this way, this is the box we're playing in there, and he was like, what the fuck's going on, and he's just kicking it, whatever, and then the bet is going behind the one stage, and he went to chase, and then he went, oh, I'm not catching him, and he just had running in the diagonal, back towards Zongal, running in an absolute freak, all over the place, and, but he's a, he's a, he's an old story, I said, he's not like, no, I know what to do, he's 27 or 28, you know, you can't be playing a hoyloin, and I don't think he can ask them to be, to be pinging balls around, and Kevin balls is not what's hilarious, it was absolutely mad to watch, I was roaring out for Martin, because it was just like this, if you think Andrew, listen to your competition, when I did it, listen, if you think Andrew doesn't suit this, this value is like, if you're going to put a pulse on the wall to go, this is how you don't suit this system, it's just not Philip's head, it really is, it was after Chaima, what a cool, come on, how are we blaring like the goalkeeper, look really confident, because earlier, then I, then I taught as well, earlier hits are back past, about three minutes after he comes out, Chaima's there, at least on the halfway line, on Liverpool's right wing and tones, and puts this thing about toward your feet in the air back towards him, and leaves a shot, better fellow comes in, the keeper comes out, makes a, makes a good tackle, but he looks really confident on it, not afraid of it, and yeah, he looked absolutely fine, but overall, I think he made a good save towards the end as well, didn't he, I think they only have one chance, he saves with his feet, yeah, I think it's the one way, coming in from the left hand, so yeah, he does, yeah, he makes a really good save there, and get makes himself big, kind of leaves that area for the striker to go for, but make sure he blocks with his leg, and a heavy bear come on, he was, he was quite lovely, but it was great to see them all coming on and not being afraid to play, you know, Beck is on, you had a young lad at Roy back command, he don't know, okay, was it Steven, someone's his name, and then you had, Steven's in there, chambers, chambers, come on, he played left centre back, I think, when he came on, K-Garden, K-Garden kind of come on on the left, and was on the right, and he looked, he probably should score, to be fair, he probably should score, but overall, again, they all come on, they were all willing to play, they were all, they knew what they were meant to do, and K-Garden made a really good point in the, in the watch a lot, and you know me, I don't like giving K-Garden credit, but I won't even ask K-Garden, but he said, you know what, there's 10-12 minutes to go here, and all the young lads are on there, you know, but I think he was bearing that Phillips, I think they were all really young, and he said it'd be really good for them to see this game, you know, being able to run the pitch as a team, and go, we were gonna see this out, and he did, and I was thinking about it after going, yeah, it is, it's a pre-season tour, it's a big game in America for them, it's a new manager, force game, and he's going to put them all into this situation with 15th to go and go, really, you're gonna manage that game, I think they do it quite well, so they get an awful lot of confidence from that, and I'm raging that Dan's picked up a injury, and then I'm even more raging that. I thought we played with those two, the two fans, our two fuzzlers, he was gonna start, I think he was gonna start with those, he would have played with him to experiment with the system with a striker through the middle, you know. Scared for pieces, leading that Phillips alone, he should get a contract extension, that payroll is purely for his boy, because he's going there with leading valor, his daughter, no, just get rid of him, take the farmers and they'll be enough for the boy, whoever, and out the gap, it's just not gonna walk. Bro, he says not what lives a sprint to a zombie, he told a tractor, he did it in fairness to him, but overall, look, it was a good run now, there was some things you couldn't have made just sit up and notice, Jesus, this is what we're trying to do, there was a few limitations there that you're seeing, but you know what, I think it's important that we watch the Arsenal, and we watch the entire game, and we see, and the players progressing in this system, it's the system, but as many as we go, I think it will. Arsenal have a lot of senior players back, we'll be interested to see what goes against them, yeah, I was watching Arsenal, and I didn't think it was a great game, you know what I know is that Arsenal, that the only thing, not only do we use to play, play, play through our regard, play, play, play, and an awful lot of fallbacks getting that and trying to whip it down the line for runners, just watch that from Arsenal, watch that from Arsenal at the start of the season, it was just something else against you know it lastly, listen, it's pre-season, they always caveat with that, but you know it, people say you know they have no plan, they have got a plan, it's just horrendous to watch, like the amount of times they had the ball in midfield and torn and played it with centre half, who played it back for Nana, and then they both are just full, both centre backs funneled out to the wing, and Nana pricks around me, and then just hit the diagonal, at Anthony or wherever, they just, I can't remember in that game last night, you know you're getting the, getting the hold of the ball, and saying like we own this ball, and we're going to move up the pitcher, Nana loiting the pitcher's constantly move up, you know, constantly move up the pitch, I didn't see it once in the last night, it was all about trying to not even press ass and into a mistake, it was more like let's hopefully lose a tour to you guys from where you go, and then we'll try to do something, and even that, that was chances played up at Anthony and he commends to it, and popped a few over the parodic, you know, and they just, they have a system, it's just horrendous to watch, and that's, that's what you're going to get. Anderson did a lot of a lot of players back, and obviously Ben Muito's didn't go the Euros, but you had Gabrielle, Gabrielle come back in, and all the guys was obviously there, and Katie was there, Matt and Eddie away with Brazil? No, Matt, yeah, Matt and Eddie comes back in, and Harvard comes back in, and you didn't see, you didn't see the keepers now, you didn't see Ray or Ramsdale, and Zinchenko was playing, and there's quite a lot of them, yeah, there's quite a lot of them, so it'd be a tough test for Liverpool. Yeah, the looks of after all the guys wouldn't have been at the Euros, you know, it didn't qualify, where you were, where you were, you were claiming that with the group stages, didn't it? And was it Zinchenko to be playing? Brazil, that's the one I'm surprised that Alison isn't coming back until we're back in Liverpool, but we had to some Brazilian players there. Yeah, Gabrielle, Matt, Madison, yeah. Was how he's used away with Brazil? I'm not too sure, but he was playing as well, and he brought on a lot of short weeks. He was playing, yeah. Georgina was playing? Georgina was playing? He would have been there a little, yeah. Yeah, he didn't see Royce's part, he was playing, did an awful lot of players, an awful lot of players playing. But when I was looking at him, I was saying, I'm missing the goal, he was, your man, the Polish fellow was playing, he could query or whatever his name is. So yeah, did they have a stronger squad than us going into this week? They just know they are about it. Obviously they are about it. They had a stronger squad than us in the FA Cup last year, and we put the kids out against them, didn't we? Yeah, but I'm just saying in terms of, in terms of where you are in pre-season, stuff like that, that you'd feel like a little bit ahead of us with the players, yeah, back to you. Do you think it's a bit unusual that we don't have players back? Well, so Kanate didn't kick a ball, right? I know, I'm not saying that you should know. But it's not about kicking a ball? No, I know it's time, Bob. You've been away on you, yeah, you get to time off. Table of playing as well. If I'm a player, even though you give me new manager himself, and that was very easy for me to say, you get yourself to America and you try and get settled in, and track them back up on the fort or whatever they do back in Liverpool. Do you understand with the roots of the English? California, sorry for the arsenal, join the squad today, apparently, this is Kira. I don't know, like, I've no problem with Trent Gomez, you know, they've been away, they haven't had any time off, you know what I mean? Jackbo, you've got Van Dijk, the cop America, that's the cop America finish on the same day as the Euros. Yeah, but when, yeah, so Holland only got to the same, he's like, yeah. Same as our three beach go now. Yeah, I know, there are only four days before the following, you know what I mean? It's, look, it's, it's, it is what it is. Obviously, listen, it's not like the club, I'll look at these pricks taking 21 off, it's obviously been agreed. No, I know, I know, I'm just saying from, from my point of view, if it was a case that there's a new manager in town, you'd probably be coming back a little, I know some of the younger lads, I know they weren't involved in the Euros, they had my time off, whatever, because a few of them came back a little bit early, so you'd just, not that you would be enforcing on them, but you'd like to maybe see them, take it upon themselves and say, listen, I'm going to cut shark this break by a week, and then back a little bit. I wouldn't, I wouldn't, I wouldn't like him to see, I would love him to see a few of them arrive in America, maybe, middle of this week, and have a couple of strikes. Well, I think they can annotate, grab them, but I think they can see them for you now, you know, then stuff like that, but. Just as well, like, just as well, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. What do you, what do you want me to say? Yeah, yeah, I'm cool, yeah. But look, the club obviously didn't know what they're, and they'll walk around there. A couple of comments, Maverick says, you need to take the money for end, though. Shake him, we had some looking, the most, now he's not the guy. I'm not, I don't think we've suggested he's the guy. I think we've, we've pointed out a lot of his frailties when it comes to this system and what we're looking to play, but as a squad option, you know, if you sell, if you sell endo, who are you putting in there? I don't know, you know, boy cheddar is a very, you know, reasonable answer, whatever we should have to do. But boy cheddar is still a guy that's, that's grown and has gone through a year of nearly rehab on his body. So you have to be careful what you're doing. And then, if you, if that does a more gear, we're probably going to go and find another player for 15 or 20 minutes, but again, and he's now experienced playing this system a little bit later. So you have to be, it's, I don't think it's case, it's just our sell, sell, sell, you know, I think it's, this is, this is not a one-summer deal. This is, this is years of what you're going to do with the shopping squad, and you can't do it all in one go. And you just rock until many boats there, in my opinion. But I do, I do think looking at this system, Maverick, I think, and just going on the Illinois, I could be proven wrong in the next couple of weeks, but looking at that, I think his limitations will be shown up in this system, when we have the ball. I think we're in, we're in big games and we're up against it, bring them on by army. But that's what squads are all about, different players for different kind of situations. Let me see a truss ad, yeah, truss ad was playing as well. Let me see, the Dutch lads should be back in the next couple of days. Anything else they do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do. Antico says Atalanta one more. Yeah, they've signed jam, they've signed jam, and I've got free of everything as well. A few moments they've been, I think Ashley says maybe an Edison trade, and we're more involved there. Maybe so. But that's about it. I think we've covered all the game. I think we've, what have we learned? I don't know, I'll listen back, maybe you'll learn something, I think we've learned quite a bit, friends. I think we've learned a lot, but at the same time, probably not, because he came out after the game and said that we'd be playing it a totally different way once we have it. Yeah, of course. So, listen, it's great to see them back. It was great to see some of the younger lads involved. It was great to see, look, I think we get this every preseason where somebody kind of sticks out of the young lads, and the only is obviously that guy this year, you might not see, like, you will have people that think that we've the next Viera or Yaya Torre on our hands because of the way he moves the ball or whatever, but you may not see him again now on the league cup games. Yeah, absolutely. I mean, when we get going, when the season starts, we would obviously see him over the next two games, I would imagine both. Yeah, he looks, he looks a prospectal, right? Like I said, I thought he was a forward or a winger. And then he pulls back out. I don't shame in saying that, I don't watch the other people 18s, 19s, 22. I don't watch them. You know what I mean? I don't, I'm too much going on, I need to see them watch them, right? But when he came on, I was thinking to me, he said, "Oh, he might want the Roy," and he put Salah up, he dropped Salah's low back in there, and then it was like fucking very deep, isn't he? And then I was like, "No, Tony, don't use me further." And he's deadly. But look, again, it'd be a bigger test against Arsenal, especially with the squad they had, the squad they have back at the moment compared to what Salah says. But it'd be interesting because if Jota is in and fit and ready to rock, because Jota didn't play an awful lot on the earth. Here we go, front, as you're knowing, and then you'll see a different shape to the record. Again, listen, you could beat Arsenal, you could get fucking beaten to a three-way Arsenal, but it doesn't matter. Go in and let's see how they're dealing with the certain things, how the system is going, because you need to see, you need to see how, you know, you want to see a progression, and because he definitely has a plan what he wants to do when you want to see it, getting better and better all the time. Kyle, do you need to watch it? And you impress them with his press conferences and all. Yeah. Yeah. You've probably blown shower since then, but all you have to say, I've really pressed the ways to handle and observe, I think. Yeah. Someone asked him about injuries and he went, that's a medical issue, so I'm not telling you. Yeah. I'm not fair-plated. And I'm not telling you everything, fuck off. Because all he said, all he said, as Salah said, as Salah has announced, they're going to hone in on this focus, because he could get an inch off-clap, and they'll see what he can, they'll see how many buttons he can press early on, and he seems really cool, really calm, and knows what he wants and knows how to deal with people. So, yeah, good, good for him. Richard says, you need to start watching, you need to watch Academy football, I just don't have the time to watch it. You know, don't get me wrong, lads, I know, watch it, and they'll send you a couple of tips, and go, yeah, he looks good. So, look, he looks good, he looks good player, he's 17. YouTube name, where did I just put in your own name? And Gobridge says they won the transfer window, ah, yeah, we're in the transfer windows, they're crack. They won't have much like panels as well, apparently. Ah, no, come here, really. That's how we finish. I was watching on ESPN, really, and it was Spanish commentary, right, doesn't bother me, just watching the football. Sure, so don't you? Well, ah, yeah, me and Charnie sparked, he speaks Spanish every day. Charnie loves when we actually send the voice mail to him, and he talks Spanish, because he's like, oh my god, big flat over the accident, he doesn't even throw his own Spanish, it's amazing. But, um, watching the last night, and I come up on the screen, whatever, it's sports, it's like the sports desk, whatever it's called, right. Anyway, it was basically, the matches are over, we're going on to our sports show now. Fuck the penalties, right? If you want to watch them on the ESPN Plus, so it has, I don't have a ESPN Plus, I go on to MUTV, right, so it was on to MUTV, he knocks around, I was like, I don't know, it was the penalties, roll on and up as a distance, point, this thing in the fucking world, right, so he take the panels, right, and now it's having a bit of fun, he's pointing to where he wants players to go, but a crack. They win the panel of shooter, and the words out of the commentary is milled, and I swear to Jesus, this is what he said, he went fantastic for Manchester, you know, they win the penalty show over here tonight against Arsenal, and unfortunately, they couldn't get the job done in 90 minutes, but they do prevail in this penalty show over the end of the game, and I went, fuck, ain't they all, you know what I mean? Like, literally, don't talk about the match, we won the panels, and you're like, that's... What's the point in it? I don't know, it's extra... This is, this is, this is, there's lead tables involved in this and all, isn't that, because you get treated to win in a point for the penalty duo. Yeah, but we didn't do a penalty, but there's going to, is that, there's not going to be a flannel of this as well as that. No, I think that might be like, no, I won't, no, I'd say, I'd say we're playing, and it's probably us, Arsenal, and you know, you're in a mini-group, better than I'm proud of it. That's what I'd say it is, so you're probably seeing penalties, fucking them, lenses, towards the amount of rewards. Oh, yeah, I think it's always happens in the American games, they always, regardless of the result, it'll be a panel shoot out after for an extra point, I think it is. Yeah. They should do the American panels. Oh, the ones you don't know how we learn. That's actually going, yeah. But it was, it was fantastic for MU-TV, like, it was like, used the word fantastic at the end of it, I was like, fucking hell. Oh, Jesus Christ, where are they, what are they up to? But anyway, um, I don't think that's before we go. Oh, oh, good. No, good. Can't wait to start our hair out, let's go. Oh, yeah, yeah, can I get a couple? No, you can let me face, get away from the camera. If I say, um, but, um, yeah, no, I think everything else is good. This week, look, we'll have, we will do a build up to the Arizona game, what we want to say. We might do a watch along for it today, again, but we might do one, I will see what's going on there. Um, yourself and Phil are beyond for our members, I think tomorrow, where we just talk some sport and some random stuff, as usual, um, if any transfer stuff or any big news comes up, we'll cover that joint in the week as well. And then, yeah, we're getting closer and closer to the season where we get back into an arm and rid them. And then, look, if it does nothing to happen, I don't know, you have an hour of three in the evening, so I'll jump on and chat, he's about football and we can chat about whatever we want, I don't want, I enjoy, um, most evenings of the week. So, um, Emma, thanks a million, um, sorry Chabline, nostril hair over the next time. It's not the nostril hair, it's me, moustache hair that's pointed upwards and tickling the edge of me if I can nostril. Jesus Christ, I swear to God, your hand won't give up. Are we going to take a picture of it now and say that, aren't we? Yeah, I had a look, yeah. Fucking hell. Um, I'm looking forward to our fourth trip to Liverpool now, as well as soul mates when it comes to Liverpool now, and we just mean you together. Say hello to me, Wednesday. Yeah, are you going on Saturday or properly this time? Well, we won, we got tickets in the ballot. Yeah, I know, but whenever you want the boys, the last time, everything broke. Oh, yeah, it's back there. They're on a Thursday morning. Are you having a music here? Yeah. Where's the ticket for? I'm failed. Stop it. Where is it started now? Oh, no. Yeah, go on. We might not even end up sitting together, but we are guaranteed. I don't know about it. I don't know about this deal, but I'm going to have some hair from two hours. I'm going to do two tickets. I'll take it anywhere in the ground, doesn't bother me. Right. That has been, that has been the talking cop for Sunday night. Thanks for being with Emma. Thanks for being with everyone in the chat. Hit the like, subscribe, comment afterwards if you like, become a member. A lot of the shows during the week do me member shows or else they're free to view, but only members can comment and stuff like that. That's the sort of stuff we give to the members as we go on to the week. But we would cover as many nights of the week as we possibly can. And then I hope you enjoyed it because I did. I really enjoyed all the water. That's been it. Have a good one over and away. Bye. [BLANK_AUDIO]
