For those low, full turns at mintmobile.com. It's just broken everything. Hello, good evening and welcome to the talking cup. I have an awful feeling I've broken all the intro stuff there, so that's good. I am Gav, Chris and Shania with me. It's a Liverpool transfer show. There's no more transfer, it's happening. I'm going to be honest with you. But we wanted to have a little discussion because every time somebody else joins a player, Liverpool's team to be open arms over it, so let's have a little chat about it. But before we do, and before we do these things, I'm going to ask the two lads a question. Because we've done these kind of post-string things at the start of the summer, a bit of phone, everyone gets to control of Liverpool and we see where we go and stuff like that, and some interesting names come up on it. But overall, most lads have a feeling of what we want from the summer, what we want to get, different things like that. So, Shania, I'm going to ask you, forced. Coming into the summer, I know you were one that just uses the transfer windows on when the transfer window ends, but coming into the summer, are you along the lines of centre, back, midfielder, maybe a forward if one leaves? Is that where you were? Just so everyone knows before we started this conversation. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Or it was, I think when we were doing that, we also partnered to know that those four strings shows are completely hypothetical. Yeah, it's not going within us thinking that an exact context to hell is going to play out. But yeah, or it was thinking, yeah, someone who can call by left hand about to probably take the reins from Virgil, and then if he's better to try enough to call by left back then, yeah, then Saudi, and if not, then go and get a left back as well with the idea of that player being in air to rubble, and then, or he felt last year we needed him. A high level operating, deploying midfielder. Obviously, Endo comes in and does a good job, but I still feel like it's a position where we do need a top level operator. And then if we are pushing the ball, or then be looking at bringing someone in to maybe deputor his mouth, because he knows what the story is with him, with mouth silent in terms of ascending his contract. And since we've done that post-string show, I actually think there's a potential situation where we need a stat right back, because all you do have a feeling that there's something going on with Trent, and I think there's a chance that you could leave. If I'm being told to be honest, so yeah, you said it yourself there, or the type of player. I think when I got to about 26, I stopped losing me raising with this stuff for him. I just started to want to realize that you can take the approach of going mad about absolutely everything in the United States, the media are doing well, and realizing that they both have the same effect. So, yeah, we now related to yours as per meal. In the press conference, he said he expects July to be quiet, and he expects August to be busy, and then cushioned on August. So we're going to have to take his word for it. I think he meant a broadly across the whole transfer window, because of the oral, because of the carpet. I think that's the most important thing to me is that the approach that I'm going to say Edward has taken, because he's over the four ball operation, and I'd imagine that he's the one who made the decision to go with the approach that we have, whereas Richard heals his front and center, but Richard heals his sitting beside Aaron sloth in the open press conference. He's answering questions. You can see him. There's optics. He's physically there, and that's Don boy, boy design, I imagine boy La Hoya Raggy to let you know that this is how it's woken. There's Richard, he was under Aaron sloth, whereas Jordan Club's tenure, the only other thing Moigalay was his face in articles that were going in the deep toy, we never seen, we never, like if you just claimed me a voice now of 24 different blocks, I couldn't tell you what Moigalay would sound like, I have no idea what the fellas sounds like, so we knew so little about him, so they put him out into the window, in front of everyone, so look, I'm calm, I'm still calm, we find I had to believe that that's sitting around and literally, and I'm not paraphrasing when I say this, sloth and yours have literally said this in, and press conference that literally in contact every day, Raggy and transfers, or you just kind of trust them, give them the benefit, which I think the majority of the fan base need to deal, and I know that there's a small minority that are just incapable of that, because they just go for it every day, and that's the way the word, and yeah, it's kind of take time, to be honest with you, even now, I'm not in any, I'm not panicking yet, let's just say that. You know, and look, we're going to go on to the Leni Oro discussion in a little bit, as to where Liverpool are linked with this player, what's going on, what we think may go on, because let's put it out there, we don't fucking know what's going on, right, we're just trying to walk off what we see and what's actually happening, and we go on that a little bit, Chris, you know, we've all, like I said, we all done that kind of post stringing shows, and they were good to deal, you know, the end of the season, and we're filling in the gap between the oros and the end of the season, and we are going to vaulting, I don't think Leni Oro's name, amongst any of us, but that's just us, but when it comes to the season, like, let's, let's be honest with you, like, we're not, the three of us aren't going to sit here and go, ah, it's all grand, like, I mean, never have, like, we never sat here and went, everything's great, because it's not, like, even down to things, like, they can't sell fucking tickets properly, right, they can't, like, ticket sales open today, couldn't sell them how to cancel it, so never, nothing is ever perfect, right, and we try to keep a level kind of, measured, kind of look on it, you know, the sort of way, but there's no, Chris, there's nobody out there, I don't even have anybody out there, right, including yourself, that will turn around and go, this quad is fine, this quad is absolutely fine, um, you know, slots come in and you can get, you can get more of them, then, then, clap got out with them last season, then, all's good, don't need to spend the penny, like, we are going to be looking for two to three players here, Chris, regardless of what, in my opinion, regardless of what people say about the looks of set, band and Berg and, and others, we're going to be looking for two to three here, that's, that's, that's okay, isn't it, that's pretty noble, I think, that's sort of what you want to be doing most years is adding two or three every, every season, just to freshen it up, whether that's project players, whether that's, um, you know, people to push out first teamers, that's kind of what you want. Um, I think when you get into the realms of four, five and six, we've seen that in the past, we saw it under Dale Gleash, we had to do well last season, we had to, yeah, but eventually it catches up with you, because it's, if you lucky, they all hit the ground run and you're fine, and I think for Liverpool, they did hit the ground running, and then, you know, I think you saw, endo, suppers lie, grab and put, lads who've never played over a Christmas period, because they're always having a mid, a mid season break, felt it in February and March, and, you know, we all got caught up at it because they were, they were playing really well, now they're low from that this year. But yeah, look, I, I thought we'd had two or three, um, similar to Shawnee, basically down the spine, you know, a centre back, you could stay fit, if it's a centre back, you could also do a little bit of full back work, that's kind of handy, because I think to compete with City, if you haven't got City's money, then you may, you need a couple of players who are versatile. I agree, at endo, great, it'd be nice, so endo is your squad option, and quite frankly, it'd be a decent squad option. And then, if it was me, I think I would look, I think we did try to, you know, I was looking at a wide right player, so then you could either rotate with Salah, or actually you put Salah through the middle as a ten, and actually you start, yep, the lad there, but then you've still got Salah to go wide, just to give you options. Because everywhere else, I kind of feel like, I don't social needle hairs, you can make doing amends, there's enough lads who can cover full back, you know, there's enough lads who can play the attacking eight roles, enough lads who can play tens, who can all play there really well, you just feel like you need a regular partner for Van Dyke, you need that little bit more quality as a hold, a deeper hold of midfielder, and I just feel like you want another pace up, I always think it's, if in doubt, I mean Ferguson was famous for that, if in doubt, buy another forward, because you can always sell them, because the forward's quite easy to sell on, so that's where I'd go. Yeah, and look, I'm in agreement, I think, when you look at the centre-half options, and don't get me wrong, Aaron and Slock would see completely different to York and Clap in the soil, no joke, I want to play centre-half, I know it, we don't know, right? And when you look at, when you look at Gerald Quanta, 21 years of age, last season was his first season in the fourth team squad, he done exceptionally well, and he learned from a couple of mistakes he made, but he was overall like, you'd be given Gerald Quanta eight out of ten for the season last season, you look at Kanata, who I think is possibly our best centre-back, right? Possibly has the potential to be our best centre-back, but the fitness is the issue, and the Van Doik, who's still for me is outstanding, but he's not getting any younger, and you need to be able to give him a rest every now and then, you need to be able to give him a dependable rest, you know, and, but what I'm saying is that- Up to Christmas, up to Christmas, we could do that, because he didn't really pay much euro-believe-able. No, no, and- Which is the issue, yeah, and it stood to him, we're going to have eight champions, eight games between September and January, I think this year. And so, we might have gone, you're going to need a centre-back, that's my opinion. Midfield? Listen, Slack Cointer says, "Oh, who says 4-2-3-1, but I'm still of the opinion if you want to progress this and get more over. I think Endo was really good last season, but for the style of play we want to play, and the style of play we want in there, I think you need somebody above Endo. You need somebody that can do the Endo stuff, but there's a bit better on the ball, a bit sharper on the ball, a bit more of an eye for a pass, right? And that only helps you. And maybe, boy Chette, I'm not saying he's the answer, but he hasn't been seen for a year, he has to be looked at. And it all goes back to me, Slack does have to have a look at what he has. Like, if you go into any job, you don't walk in and go, "Don't like this, this, this." And I'm not even talking about football. In life in general, you walk into a job where you have some sort of power or some sort of, you know, you know, say on stuff. You're not going to walk in and go, "All of that, you have a look." No, I'm not saying you should have a look and do nothing. So I think the midfield thing is fine. And up front, I'm out of the opinion. If it was me, I'd add one more to what we have, but I'm out of the opinion we'd probably add one more if we let one go or you can say it or whatever, right? So that's where we are, right? But, Charlie, I was, I was saying, I don't know who we were doing the show last week. I'm not even care. I'm not even key to the show, but I was saying to him, I might be key to my, and I was saying it was like the, it's like the transfer window of center halves. This seems to be the big thing this summer, center backs. Everyone needs them. You know, when you, like if you went back a couple of years, you'd be saying to yourself, you know, they're really good at center back. They're stocked at center back. They're good at center. The strongest part of their game is center back. And now it seems to be center back, center back, center back. And I, and I did say two weeks ago, this is all stemming from Manchester United because they were looking at Euro. They were looking at the Litt, they were looking at Brantwaite. There was talk of Maguire, Lindelof, where they're leaving and all the things going on. And this is where the Lenny Euro stuff comes up. Now, Shawnee, correct me if I'm wrong. It was all about Madrid. Madrid, we're going to do the usual trick. We're going to go to this player. We're going to say to him, we'll get you for next to fuck all, or you're going to sit there for a year and you're going to come to us. Right. That was the original day. And then it was, you know, he'd never pull away in the wings in case this collapses. And then it comes out, you know, it made a bit of 50 million pounds plus 12 million and add on some blows. Any idea that Ram Madrid can do this on the cheap coin, the world of water with Lenny Euro's help. Right. And now it's, it's like, we're seeing people are going, why aren't we buying this player? Why aren't we buying this player? Where are you on this? Because like, for me, and you can tell me if I'm wrong, so I'll tell you what I think. And then you can tell me if I'm wrong. I think Liverpool. I think Liverpool looked at that and went, if they're gone in a 20 million and it doesn't quite happen, we value him around 30 to 24. Right. We value him at that for a year left. It doesn't happen at Ram Madrid. You know, it come along enough for 50 plus 12. Right. Forget the 12 for a minute. It's 50. Right. And Liverpool went 40% of what we value him on. It's not quite that opportunity. We thought it was and Liverpool probably went hands up. It's not for us at that price. He's possibly gone to Manchester at least. So that's where I am. That's exactly what happened. I'm not saying that exactly. I'm not containing it right. But I just think Liverpool, because people are banging on about the opportunistic, if we see an opportunity, I think Liverpool see an opportunity and then the opportunity became 50 million for a fellow 18 a year left on his deal. He may be brilliant, brilliant, brilliant, but it's an awful lot of money, Johnny, for somebody that you need, I think you need a cent to have a bit more experience than that. Because you're going to knock Jarrell Kwanzell with his team to put him this new centre back in. I don't think Lenny Orr knocks the mill. Yeah, no, I agree. Look, a step we're saying, we've never seen this kind of play a game before, but I'm going to put me in that game saying that a whole percentage of the people who are, if I want to have a better team, pissing our nappies because we're not slowing them and having seen a playful bar leader. And I totally agree with you in terms of the numbers and how it's ended up. You know, it's the only day for your play, but I don't see this as an opportunistic grab boy, you know, it's the overpaying for the opportunity to sign this kid. The specific kid, let's make no bounds. No, no, no, I don't want this to come across as Liverpool fans going, oh, you're putting down your own men to be an important stand in price. You just said, oh, I never seen it. Look, put it in it by Roy. Trent Alexander Arnold is one of the oil in my opinion, tough for it, right back to the boardwalk. But yeah, is the year left on this? Is the year left on this day? Liverpool will do well to get £60 million for him. Yeah, we're at a year left on this day. Possibly, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Liverpool will do really, really well and to get that money for Trent. On top of that, if what's the belief that you've got, like a wage packet in the sum of 150 round a week, he's 18 years of age. Like, let's be honest. It would be probably more on the standard of people being annoyed if a player like Kwansa didn't emerge last year. But that's exactly why when we had conversations earlier and people are waxing lyrical about Kwansa when we were flying, boy, top of the league saying, this kid's at the table, that's only a million. This is exactly the toy of a conversation where you come back to that and say, yeah, that is the case here because he has saved us some money now. Does that mean that we shouldn't throw in the centre? Absolutely not. Well, honestly, I would, and you know me, Gav, you know, the way I am, the question players that we saw in the past, if Liverpool was explosion, it's one of them things. It's the annoyed attacks and you do see it when they do throwing players that, like, every time an average becomes everything, it's like the transfer fee goes same to Roy's. I've seen people saying upwards of 70 million euros for this kid. No, it's 50 million euros, someone says there plus 12 million in adults. So you're looking at about 56,000 million pounds. If you go on the Euro, if you go on the Euro, yeah, for an 18, you're all over the year left on this day. Like, let's be honest. Like, it's not one of these things where you go, holy folk hell, you know, you pull this off. Like, it's quite clear how they pulled her off. And it's quite, to me, it's, it's fairly obvious why Liverpool aren't in and around this deal because it doesn't make that's not a deal that makes for financial sense. Definitely not to live uphill. Like, yeah, what, it might be a long-term visa replacement. It's, it'd be a feature he sent the back, he became it. Can I ask them, can I ask them before we move over to Chris? If we haven't got Jorrel Kwanza, just as I think, you see, this is my thing, right? If we don't have Jorrel Kwanza, we're sitting here in my garden, can I have the van Dijk Gomez? And we're all in that where we want to sign in a really top and center back for now and for the future. But I'd be a bit more annoyed at this, if we hadn't got a Jorrel Kwanza and I'm kind of gone, that's coming, not just fucking coming. I would be, I genuinely would. I'd say, let's put the 50 million down with his fellow. If he's meant to be that close. No, either of all, but just go on with people who are saying, I think it's easier to find a spot, even at that price in a squad, where else Jorrel Kwanza there, for this player because, yeah, I think there's better value in the market than, than that, to be honest with you, than what, what you know, it'd pay for him. Because like, a hundred and seventy two thousand dollars. You can take this as gospel. The French flag is absolutely gosh, it's gosh, and it's no problem. I'd say it's, I'd say outside of PSG and he, he, he went from the French ladies in the Champions League last year. Yeah, there you go. I don't know. Oh, I genuinely believe, oh, right. I genuinely believe 74% in the teams in League one would struggle playing two games a week in the championship. I'm being deadly, honest with you. I'm being serious. So the color by this, this young, those go against him now. I believe he wasn't even the dominant set. And that's expected to be the, he's not the dominant center back is, he's fucking, he's 18 years of age, he's not supposed to be. But honest to God, like, I was saying, I was saying, in the chat, there grab break is on a hundred and fifty K grab break went from all your extra boy in Munich. I was there, I was one of the highest rated players in Europe going out there. And that's why we had to give them the money. Oh, you agree? When I read that grab break was on a hundred and fifty K a week. I even thought that was ridiculous. So because grab break's on a hundred and fifty K a week, it doesn't mean that all given we are that is not to say two things can be trailed the same time. One hundred and fifty grand for grabbing break is silly. One hundred and fifty grand a week for Europe is even one hundred and seventy two thousand is the real amount. That's the real. Yeah, look, it for me, for me, it's personally, did this take a command? I want to be around Royce and I did a fair play done because I think we're right. I think it's actually going to be a money bar job for me and I'll end the flipper and send them to Madrid anyway when the time is right and they'll make money on them. But I wouldn't, I wouldn't be paying the ball. I wouldn't pay it personally because I don't know enough about them. And I just haven't seen any 18 year old sent back war that and war for part. The only, the lie that bear really stands out killed by us. But he has a fucking billion euro boy out of class. So that's, that's, this is what I'm talking about. Like, I just, I don't, like, I don't get the outrage from the papillos fans because it's just, like, I think anyone with a brain here can see exactly how you know either pull this day of love and or personally or I don't think we should have been anywhere near that at that place. And I totally agree with it. Liverpool probably felt there was an opportunity to make this fella in Madrid where I'm going to take them for the report, the 24, 40 million. Leel have played an absolutely fucking blinder here on this. And this reminds me a bit of them. Leel, Leel, Leel have fun with that. They do this with the Amanda went to Arsenal. They don't know what Pepe, they don't know what argument they do all the time. They, they, maybe, maybe Amanda Leel on a pin deliver pill to Pepe, to your man Pepe. And it was like, it started a 20 million per pound. He went for 72, whatever week he was done. I'll say one thing to not, because I don't want to look at people who come out of hand and kills as a bean nut and dog. One thing I will say is, the club definitely did brief about the interest of this. Yeah, because Joyce comes out with this one. This is how a case of Liverpool looks and we didn't want them. Yeah, no, no, no, no, no, that's definitely did see an opportunity. Yeah, that's why I agree with what you're saying. I totally agree with what he said initially that they probably felt they could deal with Dale at 40 max. Like, because I can't either, I'd be shocked to be clear in 10 grand a week. I live like 18 years of age for what he's gone. Honestly, God, I would. Yeah, no, I don't know. I don't know what he's paid at Leel. I don't know what he's saying. I really don't. And listen, my motto, we're not, my team and all this is when Paul Joyce speaks, I would listen, right? And he does drop his name in. He absolutely drops his name in. I'm not going to be honest with you. When he dropped his name in, I didn't see it. It was somebody showed me today. I'm presuming I was away and hardly when I happened and I just switched off completely, right? And when I read that, I talked to myself, okay, he's definitely dropped the name, but it was a very, very much a case of, and I think this is where people have got upset because it was like Liverpool and you know, they're waiting in the wings for if Real Madrid deal for linear or collapses and a little bit of hands are gone. How the fuck how the fuck do we let them go to Manchester? And why did we step in? I think my that that's my feeling that my feeling is that Liverpool looked them and if Madrid are doing a fucking job on Leel here, they're doing it for 20 million quid and if Leel down boy and Real Madrid, that won't go anywhere, we may step in with 20, 24. But then when it goes up to 50 and 60, you know, where I don't live up who went, that opportunity was there at a certain price for the squad we have, what we need and what we could supplement away because I think he would supplement the squad rather than coming and be plenty of your age and you fucking may, man. I think Liverpool looked at and went, it's gone too far. It was an opportunity, but at the end of the day, if you're willing to pay 24 and it's now a 54, right? You're paying 40% extra and I don't think we're willing to go 40% extra and people will say, you know, you know, you're fucking done Liverpool and I'm kind of going, well, no, because if both teams bid 30 million pounds and they said, both both of a greater fee, go and speak to both clothes, pick who you want to go to and he goes to Manchester, you know, you go fuck, you got the better of us there. But I don't think that's the case. And I think, you know, I understand people wanting Liverpool to spend, I understand it's a centre back. But I don't think for me, it's not the toy percent, I back where you go. That's where I'm going to pin my summer on, because I promise you, when you are also in Liverpool tomorrow and play it better than the 26th or 27th of July, I made one mistake. The first thing you'll hear is, look, we're buying fucking youth for the future instead of buying class for now. And that's what would happen. That's just the way things are. Chris, you know, I haven't seen the guy playing football, but I will go on a lot of people that do watch, you know, French football, and say he's a really, really, really good player. But we have to understand that, you know, when it comes down, when it comes down to these things, everyone using this opportunity war from Richard Geos, an opportunity comes fast, become, it's not an opportunity anymore. It's overpaying. I'm not just not overpaying. Opportunistic, it's a new transfer committee. That would be the word that's used all summer. I think the bit that was also lost to people, I can't remember which journalist, I don't think it was Joyce, but when they were talking about this, your ordeal, they did say this is separate to what Liverpool want to do for the summer. So it was framed as a one-arm opportunity. Yeah, it is very about a certain price. We're going for him. If he's not, it's not our main target. I mean, now I've noticed certain journals are briefing, it was Liverpool's main target, the Royal Manchester United Journal. So that might be a reason why the briefing happened. That's just, that's the game. And to be honest, if we'd have got him, I'm sure we'd have briefed him as my United's first choice target. That's the game. That's the little one-upmanship that we all do. Like we did with Bellingham, where we said, "Oh, we're not interested to deal, we're too expensive." It wasn't that. Bellingham turned us down and said, "I'm going to retreat." We went, "Yeah, fair enough." You know, it's all face-saving. Yeah, it is all face-saving. And, you know, Chris, I'll stay with you because, you know, I don't, like, we look, someone mentioned there, and just the name caught me, Califiori, and going, "I don't know if that's done to Arsenal." Store, isn't it? Is it done? It's not. No, apparently it's stalled because Belongia and, I don't know if it's difficult. There's a basil, I think, I've got an article on seven calls and one takes the road more than the other, so it's delayed. If it's only starting because of that, then it'll get sorted. But it's part of the panic, I'm using the word for companion care, but it's part of the frustration, I suppose, from some of the other who finds over this linear ordeal, the fact that I'm a bit like this, when I'm looking down, center halves of certain quality, I don't think there's a lot of them out there that you can get unless you're willing to spend mega money. It's part of it that, you know, and somebody says there, you know, we're a month away from a fourth league game, and I understand that, it's not like we're going to have no center halves on the fourth day of the season, but it's part of it that where people are looking around going, the stat name of the center halves here you can realistically get. I think there's that, I think also if we, if clock was still here, we kind of know what he wants, we kind of know how he plays, we'd probably have a good gauge now of what he was going to do, he'd have known about obviously what was going on in the summers, so this would all be laid out, I think because of infants knew it's a new structure above it, it's a new manager, I think Evelyn's got, does that little bit of trepidation on certainty with some people of like, what's going to happen? But at the moment, even if Arsenal sign, Calithiori, that's outside of Villa, no one's done any real business outside of Villa, and Villa had to do a lot of business because their squad was so thin and nearly got scuppered at the overseas because of injuries because they were struggling through two games a week, which is because they probably should have won the conference league really, but injuries and a small squad hit them, so they've done some smart business just to beat the squad up, does that mean Villa will be in a tight race? No, but I just think they've made themselves sort of a capacitive both in the league and maintain a bit of the European push, but also I don't think anyone's doing anything yet. Well, Villa have let go with probably the best midfielder last season in Douglas Louise, to go and deal with the deal, so it's not like Villa, like people, I've seen, when it comes to Villa people are going, oh the people behind us just keep getting better and better and we're standing and still going on, I haven't seen Villa play a game with all these players, and Douglas Louise was the best midfielder last season by a distance, so numbers was they've improved, but I don't know how much they've improved, and I'm not saying they won't, I'm just saying on evidence, you haven't seen anything, you know... And they're going to be hoping that Tyrone Ming is coming back from an ACL in his early season. Kinda kind of he already has a 40% sell-on for Basil for a fucking deal, they pull there. Yeah, so that's probably where the tackle then is because they probably won't want to have Arsenal to get themselves at a certain level, so I've been quite relaxed about that, I kind of thought end of July early on when you start to see in general a bit of a ramp up then, because everyone's got the auras, got the copper America out of the system, they kind of know what's going on, they know who's come back where, and then I think that's when we start to see some movement, I mean the other thing what isn't being talked about with the United move is, they are getting 26 million for the strike, a striker going to Spain. Agreeing what? Agreeing what, I think it's 26 million, so... Marisai, he's gone too, isn't he? Marisai, sorry, but there's a bulk of the fee paid for, so again that's, because again, it's the whole PSR thing, I think clubs are now realised they've got to be a little bit smarter because they can't get away with some of the shenanigans they got away with the years, so, you know, it is worth it. Shawnee, when we look at just, you know, away from the transfer of stuff, because we could start naming center backs, and DMs, and left wingers, and low wingers, just for the record, killed us, our first hand place, whenever you're ready to go. But, you know, we've seen, we've seen sloth nail from the last 10 days or so, in train, and we've seen players come on back in there, starting to see a lot of force teamers back, so, you know, Salah, Robertson, Sobber's lawyers, there's a lot, a lot of luck coming back in there, and Mar will come back as the next week goes on, but we've spoken a little bit about Aaron Aslot, and assessing the squad, and looking what he has, and things like that. Is there anybody there for you that you look at and go, probably out on the long last season, probably a bit fringe player last season, but now you think, you know what, he might have a chance, you know, boy, he had to use his own way ahead, fucking a lot of the day. Yeah, that's the one I was thinking over there. Is he the one like where you look and go, he might change his mind when it comes to what he made it on the market? Yeah, yeah, but not that you showed, but he years only, but I think people are forgetting how, how impressed he was when he came in, when he commented the 10, not last season, the season before last year, the brilliant one, he did look at our plates at heart, he looks really, really, really big talent, and people don't realize that, I think his coin is about to go last year, was a plan born from the club, because I think he has, he was having some sort of issues with ground pains, and so fluid that, and I think he had hairline fractures, and so fluid that, so he left the milk, and for our purpose, I think you are building up, and you look at him in the training pictures, and he looks like a physical specimen. Now, obviously, coin will tell, but yeah, obviously, I've seen in the chat there, dance, yeah, jade dance looks an unbelievable prospect, and he again looks like he's even bigger than, than he did this time last year, and, or you think find the break or go, or think a lot of people are, uh, looking, shitting the bed over that weight, he must have seen him on the round, I think he will go, I think there's weight him or jam. I think he's going to go as well. Yeah, who? Also, and I think, I think they'll use him as a good sort of thing. Yeah, I think mine, I think I was, well, yeah, I really, I really like, well, I'm on, but I think at the stage where, live, I feel more, actually be at, in a good position now, to settle him, I'm probably maximum, maximum, and on him, but yeah, come on back, I don't know, look about our own back, to be honest, to now people, I was going to give them loads of minutes for them. Look, it's hard, it's hard to know, really, and if this is, we are talking about your club managing the team, you could coin it, because we, we know what way they play football, and it's, it's, for me, the, the thing that makes it exciting is the thing that us, who coined it, scares me a little bit, is, is the all-know, we don't really know exactly, um, how, what, what our approach is going to be, how we play, everyone was going on a bit of this 4-2-3-1, he completely roped back then in, in his confidence, so. Look, just, um, oh, I'm looking for, when's the fourth game? The 17th of August, is it? Look, to some of these lads, and some of these lads, they have massive talent, they're seeing people talking about Harvey Blair as well, there's another one he'll coin, I had about injury lads here, and it's back around, he looks at massive talent, think K Gordon as well, is a massive talent. I'm not saying that we don't spend anyone at the expense of these young lads, but it's something that you definitely need to consider, because I think this time last year, when Gerald Kwanza was kept around as 5th choice, they're back, everyone was in the bed, and then as soon as it was being mentioned that Gerald Kwanza was a potential make weight in an 90-guard deal, everyone was gone mad saying there's no way Liverpool should be letting them go, this is a lot he was brought in on the prelim, England squad, he's had an absolute massive season by Liverpool last year, he was, was brilliant, he hired you for the fourth round, makes a mistake away, I'll travel fair enough, so just relax and stop bleeding down the wall, you can't change, morning about this stuff is not going to make it any better at any worse, just chill out, but look, if we talk long on social media and tweeting 53 today about the state of the club and every year he was going to change stuff, we have to probably think about doing it, but now that it has absolutely no effect means it won't be anywhere from gone near it, they've been bleeding cobbly sisters after head, the period of the month, the stuff they're coming out with, they're honestly, it's just pure boil, and to be honest with you, I think in an awful lot of the accounts that are pushing this stuff now are all paying for the subscriptions and make a noise for you when they get loads of great engagement on the tweet, so I think it's calling to stop paying any more into them and just relax, like myself, I love Reddit, because the Liverpool's so ready, it literally went there and the only time anything comes up is if it's concrete, you don't see any of this speculation, I don't know who we've been linked to, I guarantee that there's hundreds, thousands of articles on Liverpool since this time, last month, Lincoln is where everything will play around under the sun and we won't sign any of them, for the likelihood if any of them, so I don't, I don't, it's just, I don't do that short anymore, like I said, all the way until, all the way until August, or whatever, the window, because of the change in every place, yeah, all the way until the window closes the coin, I go, there you go, that's fair enough, have you done enough, yes now, maybe, okay, let's go around right now and watch the football, like, like, what was supposed to do, because I think, I think, the thing that gets lost and all of this transfer is sure, is that the only thing that really involved is the football, I think people get so caught up in this, this transfer is stuff, it's absolutely it. I just don't think it's, I just don't think it's unreasonable, for a guy to come into a job, right, he, he, he's, he has the jobs and it's the force of geo, really, he's in constant contact with Richard Joe's, we're, we're, we're probably six weeks into him officially being a pro manager, and I don't think, and he's 10 days into seeing the players, I don't think it's unreasonable for us to sit here, you know, well, 17 days into the transfer window officially, and go on, yeah, we haven't done that yet, and, and, and for them to be quite open and saying, we're going, we want to assess what we have, we want to see what we have, you know, we want to see what we may need, we're not going to rush into it in July, it may happen in August, I think that's fairly reasonable. Now, don't get me wrong, I don't think it's reasonable to get to the end of the summer, and me and you, and Chris sit here on the forces and come and go, they don't fuck up us, you know what I mean? And now, I mean, for a couple of reasons, for a couple of reasons is, right, as much as, as much as like, you know, if he wins anything, it's going to be like, that's club squad. If he fucking fails with this squad, we're dealing his own thing, people are going, he was afraid to touch the club squad, or, you know, and, and people will always go to our FSD with this, listen, FSD on the football club, but the boys pulling the fucking strings are below, like, John Henry doesn't fucking have a breeze, what's going on every day, you know what I mean? He runs FSD, you know what I mean? They don't need them on FSD anymore. Yeah, and so the last idea, and like you said, have been front and center, have decisions to make, and their heads are on the block from day one, this is a Liverpool football club, do you know what I mean? And I just think, I just think it's fairly reason to be sitting here going, yep, they're looking at things, yep, they're very, I think they've done this for a couple of reasons, I think they show that they're comfortable and what they have, and what we're at a gun with regards to transfers, but they're also very comfortable in, we're not going to get screwed for, you know, enough Phillips gone for a fucking next to nothing, or if I'm the bear gone for a total of the price we value on, so they made those comments, there was a double edged sword, in my opinion, but it's like, don't get me wrong, like, and I said it at the very start, we're not going to say here and tell you everything's great, I'm not going to say it in a month's time, or six weeks time, and with the exact same squad gone, everything is great, but I think it's very reasonable for the manager that's going to go, let me have a look, let me just have a look at what's going on. They're already in the comments there, a club that proids is saying they need to assess a few training, like, where did the club say that they need to assess a few training sessions? No, you haven't. You haven't said that anywhere, you read that online, I understand, I understand a lot said, when he came into the club, right, he said that he had watched games, and he had watched training sessions, right, the reason being for the training sessions was he wanted to see what walked he'd done, how he'd done it, and how it was fitting what he does, so he's not gone from, you know, fucking this over here to completely render the scale, right? So, a club deployed itself, no, hold on a second, a club deployed itself on diet that's saying they need to assess a few training sessions, it's pure bollocks, says Jerry, now let me tell you something, every fucking club played itself on diet, every single one of them, right, but there might be data there, you have to remember, find the beggars, no data, he's no fucking data in a Liverpool's short, none, right, they have none from last season, absolutely none, and there's no point looking at the data from points, because what way do points play, who won the pressure already, what soil do they have, so you're not going to go in and go, except find the beggars fucking absolutely boxing off, you know, mouth salad for two hours and training, don't give up bollocks, the data here says he got dribbled by some fucking Turkish fellow in Germany twice last season, that's no, that's, that makes no fucking sense, it makes no fucking sense, you're absolutely, you're absolutely entoiled to look at what you have, but they've openly come out and said, yes, we are looking at it, yes, we're assessing it, we're looking at different things, they've said they're in daily contact over transfer as an recruitment, they've said it, like it's not like they're lying to you, they fucking said it on screen, out of press conference, the first opportunity, they got, you know what I mean, it's, they've, they've told you what's going on, but listen, I don't know, like, if you want to just believe, - It's like one thing, y'all look, for me, like, for me, I was much preferred, like, I think it's my beneficial that I have your business donated, but I understand where corporate America on and the euros on, it doesn't make it a little bit more difficult, but like, live up here all I've found by having a business donated, for example, look at last year, like, it was the space of 48 hours where suppose loyal link, suppose loyal clients, suppose loyal unveiled, like, you know, like, things change rapidly, like, just do yourself a favor, don't believe in that you see that aggregate, you know, on Twitter, or whatever you call it, and don't read that from in Doyle, and what's your that fella, there's James Pierce and - I was just, I was just listening. - Because I don't know why in all the cases I want it, except for, these lads need to fill columnages, and they need to get clicked, and Johnny, three weeks ago, three weeks ago, I sat here and done a show, and I would say at least a dozen people came on into this chat and said, live up here, I have no intention, they don't see a center back in midfield or a far as a priority to the summer, what the fuck is going on, right? Yesterday, I seen a quote from a journalist, the journalist was quoted into a tweet because that's how we do our walks now, and it was like Liverpool have had discussions internally about signing a center back in midfield and a forward. Now, which one is true? So, if you think Liverpool had no priority on all these players, three weeks ago, but now we're discussing, we might actually go and need these three. These are from the same things, three weeks apart, the same fucking accounts, three weeks apart. - This is what I, this is what I struggle with, with the you're brought on, I can see some of the things you mentioned in the comments is, - Sorry, LSE Spectra says Joyce and Einstein are the only journalists listening for Liverpool breaking up, and the discussion incorrect. Joyce is, Einstein isn't there, don't go for grinding on says, Joyce is, go on. - Yeah, but I've seen some things in the chat, they're going like, well, you can't believe this is true, you can't believe that is true, so you don't believe it, but then the same jersey will say the opposite next week, and then you're picking shoes when you want to believe it, you even believe them when you don't, because we can't pick it at the point, I'm at a point now where is, and I get it, some people don't like the owners, so whichever story suits giving the owners a kick, let's go for that, whether it's true or in difference. The other thing is, I've seen plenty online on the chat, made up Edward's back, bring his own team together. I think people forget, when Edward was here last time, fuck all came out of the club, you never heard anything until very, very, very late, and guess what, they're probably doing that same trick again, so everyone's doing guesswork, and I'll be honest, most of the guesswork, it doesn't take a year to go, what would look like a sentiment, a centreback, a propping of a forward, you don't need to be in the know or a journalist to know about, that's pretty common sense what they want, who the names are, that's what I have to wait and see, this is I could recap, we get to the end of August and the squad's the same, we'll all be saying the same thing, which is, we'll left ourselves short here, you know, there are some players, I do think, I'm intrigued to know what they're going to do next year, as the grabbing birch was in and out, so I want to see what he can do, you know, can quantum kick on again, or will he have a little dip, because he's a young player, can go and stay fit, like he did last year, there's loads of things we don't know, kind of manage kenate where he's playing 20 league games, yeah register says and some people defend the owner's no matter what, that's also not a really way to do, but to be honest with you like, why the people are so home up on them, like, like, right, if you, do you think john henry is sitting down there gone, let's look at the squad and I think the squad's absolutely fine again now money, john henry doesn't know a football from a fucking cabbage, right, let's be honest with her, he doesn't, he has a fucking braise, he's a businessman, right, so that's why he has all these people in there, and register just to let you know, we've just said it, if it comes to the end of the window, and I put me hand, we haven't signed the centre back in particular, right, especially a centre back, and yeah, you know what, I go and say a midfielder as well of a defence of type, all you will see here in the first of time ago, that's not enough, that's not enough, and slap my try is best, and best I looked on, but that, that for me is not enough, because of the makeup of what you have in those positions already, and what you're looking to try and do, and all this, all this stuff about having to be completely and utterly like FSG are the best teams in the slowest bread, or over here where they're just the worst thing that they're the devil, like it's a fucking mad saying, it's an absolute mad saying, but I will, but the thing is, Liverpool can prove their transfer window to you for six weeks, so all they can work on is what they're at now, and what they're at now is assessing what they have, and will no deal when they make the assess when they go, now you know what, he's not gonna work, so see that guy we've been talking about for the last three weeks, we're gonna go and deal him, let's go and deal, and that's the way they should be walking, and I'll be confident enough that's the way they are going to walk. Plus, as Shoney says, if, if they are certain that, say if they go, Trent's gonna go Madrid this summer, that, you have to pivot your policy there, because that's a complete different change of tactic, because that's quite a big hole in England. That could, well you see if Trent is gonna go to Madrid in this summer, that decision would, I would reckon, has been told that Liverpool has been fairly recently, where maybe attitudes towards contracts have changed, and Liverpool have to look, right, we need to do something here, let's go and have a look at what we are going to do, and reassess, yeah, because you can't, like Liverpool can't sign three players, four players and then go, by the way, Van Doy, Salah, and Trent, they all want to go to summer, we just don't want to treat it, it just doesn't work like that, it just simply doesn't work like that, but I left this comment up because it made me laugh, Dylan says, "I met Toila Martin in town, Pabara Christmas last year, terrible noise fella, was drinking points against that round at half for 30 plus minutes, probably best that we made of Martin, he clearly has no morals." So, yeah, what about David Scheik's player there, that Aston is about Johnny Hoyt, a good como number? Yeah, so Johnny Hoyt again has come on, I'll pass balls of piss as well. Yeah, um, Johnny Hoyt has come in as a system manager at Liverpool, um, was he farm, was he with, was he, no, listen, was he wearing his lap? Was that Ajax, he's been at Ajax, okay, because I saw, I saw, again, his prom for an aggregator site, uh, your mate, Kudos was, he's made a little comment, hasn't he? He said, "I loved his training, you know, the way, the way he did train was really good at it." Yes, I'm working with Liverpool, I didn't want to hear, I'm looking for him. So, you know, that could be a, that could be a risk as well. God, but I see, I see, yesterday, whatever. You know, Hoyt, Hoyt just looked for Valerie, so Hoyt literally would sit there, are they watching, like, trails of Hoyt, watch PSV, they're on volleys and playing, whatever, I've been, just watching training sessions. So, Hoyt, just go with that, um, everything, I train, and then Dublin at the moment, I train him, the client, he was ready. So, I said, I'll just take on the video, and I'll just, just talk around, I'm watching him there. And so, I'm trying to teach him, like, doing a few drills, and that. And I said, you know what, I go in the comments, I go in the comments, I go in the comments, I go in the comments, and I mean, when I say this, I actually screenshot them, and I send them the guy, the Zempton fans, Roy, called absolutely ballistic in the comments, because Qasdorei have sent them over red babes, Royi! I'm not like, sorry, get a fucking grip with the red babes, Royi! Qasdorei, you need to read the room here, what's going on with the red babes? Like, these boys are literally in Ireland, training, and I'll fuel them up a couple of red babes on to differentiate from the lads that are the babes, and the boys are gone, blading mad. But Johnny Hoyt, again, now, is free to put red babes on his tree, and because when he's out everything that isn't allowed, remember the tongue care when put red babes on the tree, and people are like, "Oh, look at this, he's meant to be out with the manager, he's red all over his Christmas tree, he's like fucking hell." But you don't remember, he then changed his tree, put it over a picture up, and then the kick of the guy said, "There's no blue in that tree, there's fucking blue in it." Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's to be a tree, grief sounds. But Hoyt has come in as a system manager, and like the lads have said. He's like the second a lawyer. He has been appointed at Liverpool as part of the staff as a system manager. He's got two as well, but I'm holding, y'all, Liverpool and Hoyt trying to be a bit mad. The boys, listing of the calendars with the details and all that. Yeah, I'm punching the head off each other now, yeah, it's mad. Super chat here from Brace to Vilsa, sorry y'all, I'm sure you're making brilliant points, but I can't focus on anything, but whatever Sean is attacking with those clippers. Sean is some of these members, clippers there. Of course, I'm actually going, sorry, I made the H-T up to my E-Bars, I didn't know he didn't even realize everything I did. He just didn't give him his nails there as if it was going on. I might keep holding a bam, I'll put it. Oh, he's pulling a bam, so there you go. Next level, since the Hoyt's employment is a smart meal, it's known the physical demands of the league, which will help Slough, who's just got started. He was praised a lot of Oix walking under there with the youth system. Yeah, there you go. Look, again, you know, I'm presuming everything fans are angry using that plot over Johnny Hoyt, he'd get torn up with the record. Raffa's red door over there. Yeah, Raffa had a red door when he was at as a Liverpool, as they were able to manage and he fucking lost the plot over there. And I let us see Spectruses saw a few Blue Nose days saying they didn't, they never loved Johnny Hoyt again and everything anyway, which is just bad. So there you go. But look, it's, I think, out of all this, from me anyway, you know, we've seen it, we're seeing a transfer unfold a little bit here with Lenny Uro. I don't think it's helped. I think Liverpool had a sign in the door, people are going, ah, look, you know, especially if you ever sent a hat, so you're kind of going, what do we need him for as well? But I just think, look, I think where Johnny's coming from is bang on. Yeah, it says at the end of the window. And at the end of the window comes along and we haven't, we're sitting as we are, we've only brought him one, you're kind of going, yeah, that's not good. You know what I mean? But I think, for me, I think you have to, yeah, I always look at where do you focus the frustration? And I think the frustration has to be genuinely focused here. If that happens, and I understand and introduce, they've, they've sat out in front of the cameras and said they're going, that they're absolutely talking about it, they're all about recruitment, they're talking about it every day. And if that doesn't happen, I don't even think it goes to my competitors. I don't even think it goes to FSG. Now, unless it came out afterwards I mean, listen, Aaron, a slot one of these three players were around 90 million quid each, and then you're going to go, you know, or he wanted three players at 60 million each, and FSG said, no, all the work couldn't happen. It's just, for me, it's, let everyone see where we are, but there's no way they'll put around to anything. Johnny's having a lovely laugh here, go on. Dave, Dave Shakespeare, yeah, who can we leave you up, mate? Dave Shakespeare says, I hope when we play everything, and he does not make us lose the game, Johnny, he's not playing. He's not playing. He's not playing. Now, he's just the sister manager. Like, he's not, like, we're not bringing him in that road back, because Trent might be going to be great. Like, do you know what I mean? Um, on boats, there's no catch-up allowed in the boogers. I go to some, probably. Um, yeah, just the Christmas tree is the best thing ever, absolutely ever. But look, it's, um, we thought we'd come on, we'd have a little chat about transfers, what we'd like to see, when we'd like to see. And, um, yeah, listen, you know, we can't, we're going to America, every, the, the club, 13. Yeah, we've got betters on the 20s. We're not. No, we're not. We won't. We won't be allowed in. Um, not what you'll believe, Navy, HD, walk around big scissors and the airport, on the couch, and I do what meadows in. I might be a genuine, yeah, because I know like, well, you understand them with the ballet things we'd have to be, you know, trying to listen to someone, I'd be able to, you know, completely, you know, not more than that. I should listen, don't worry about it. Kev took two drugs off his vape two weeks, going to the place where they didn't melt down. But in fairness at the time, really, Kev had changed his set up at home. So what happened was, I don't know how he fucking done it, but he changed his microphone to his, his earpods. So every breath he took, and the vape was like Dad Vader, and he didn't realize it was going on. Um, so it was, it was funny at the time, but people got so fucking upset. And we're like, we just calm the fuck down. Then someone, then people are like, um, don't think I can watch this anymore. Um, I heard the dog barking, twice in the last week on the show. I was really like gaps. Do you know what I mean? We have dogs. What do you want us to do with the dog type, the fucking dog is made with you. Like it doesn't walk like it's grand. We're not in this studio, um, dealing stuff, but, um, I've enjoyed that. I've enjoyed it a lot. Um, I think it's being fairly measured. I think a lot of people in there are frustrated. That's fine. A lot of people aren't, and you know, things like that. Um, and they'll, they'll wait and see, but there's probably a middle ground. You know, I think, yeah, Liverpool probably should, and if you're thinking, Liverpool probably should be doing something by probably the second week in August, really. You know, are they probably wanting to bring in a sign to America with them, or one when they come back, we don't know, but you are going to see an awful lot of signings being made this summer where they won't start the season for the clubs. You'll see them a week later or two weeks later. That's just the way it's, it's falling this year. Uh, many new '27s in the chat were bigger than Liverpool. Fair, folks. Yeah. Um, you're great. Yeah, well done, Colby. Good player. I mean, he is a good player. Yeah, he's magic. Yeah, he is a good player, but we're bigger than Liverpool. Well, yeah. That's great. Um, we're going to head, thanks to Chris, thanks to Shani. Thanks to everyone in the chat. Hit the like button. Four people don't like us. Um, fair, plenty of 91 people do. If you want to hit the like on the way, you'll subscribe, become a member, whatever, all of that stuff. You can. If you want to, if you want to help our phone razors, the links are in the description there as well. Donate or you can share them with your family or friends, colleagues, whatever it might be. That's been it. Shani, anything else before we go? No, I'll go and go to be back. Haven't been on actually in a word. That's because you're fucked up and I'm all toldy. I'm a toil to do that. Well, not technically, I'm actually not. But I don't know. Yeah, but I am. I'm a toil, too. Are you? Well, now, but yeah. I'm going to get me into proper area guards before you're honest with the people. It's not money, but he's, you know, it's going to be back a month away. And I'm saying that the fantasy league went lower today. So I'm going to have to start having a look at that again. Can I just tell you, can I give you the heads up on something? Phil is doing this thing for Laura then, and he's actually going to be doing, he's going to be running a fantasy football, a Premier League fantasy football for the season. He's organized at the minute, but it's going to be 20 quid to enter, right? So if he gets 100 people, that'd be two grand. But what he's going to do, he's going to go a thousand to the charity and a thousand to the prize money. It might be a winner takes all, but keeping an eye out for that. It is common for, we're not the only one this year, but Phil is going to be the only one, and it's 20 quid to enter, but a winner takes all, but for every 20 that goes in, 10 goes towards the pro this form, and 10 goes towards the charity. So we really go by the people that donate there. So keeping an eye out for that. Thank God you mentioned Premier League and fantasy football, Johnny. And super, this is good to see you, Johnny. He looks fucking great, doesn't he? Didn't, you know, didn't cause as far as holiday, though. Great show of lads, good night, says Super Dizzle. Chris, anything else before we go? No, nothing from me, mate. No, okay, good stuff, good stuff. Mainly was come back with a big laugh, he faced noise one, he's in, he's good farm, he's in, he's a noise lad, you stay with us. You stick with us, we look at the main new 27, and there's no problem, as you know, it's fine care, the design is not fine, there's anything watching this. We're only just chatting football, having a bit of crack. But that is it.
