[MUSIC PLAYING] [MUSIC PLAYING] It's the day, Trevor's. [LAUGHTER] [MUSIC PLAYING] [MUSIC PLAYING] Mooching, constant, incessant, glorious mooching. Clops Liverpool are running, hurrying, closing down like a team of demented seven-year-olds and the goals against Colin is starting to look better. But we're not scoring, and all Marty Skirtle's still up to his tricks. I'm Trev Downey, and joining me tonight in the Gagan bunker to analyze the start of Jurgy Bear's reign or Stephen Daly, Paul Brennan, and Phil Case. OK, we'll start with a review of Sporsnell Liverpool, Neil. So look, we're not going to pretend to do any complex analysis of the methods and the influence of club just yet. But there was quite a lot of like even a decimated squad. We could see something, certainly, in the first half of the first half. I think it was quite a bit there to see what struck you in terms of initial just thoughts on the match. When you finish your job, should I come back to you? No, no, no, I'm good. I'm good. OK, there. There was a couple of things. I think the intensity of the play, like the willingness for the players to get up so quickly and pressure. And it caused Spors for the first 20 minutes to look like they just wanted to kick the ball away. They didn't want to try and play football. They didn't want-- they were bamboozled by football. Yeah, yeah, and the way we moved right from the front. Yeah, I think it was very impressive from us. Listen, it's hard to read too much into it. He was three days with his players after the international break. He had a few of them there beforehand. But there was three or four days. He's really just, I'm sure, in that time, tried to instill what his plans will be, rather than if her talk of us having three training sessions a day and whatever else. But you can imagine a lot of that will walk through sessions. This is what I want you to do when the ball's in this area. This is how I want us set up, blah, blah, blah. I want us to move from the front. He clearly wants our most forward players moving straight from the off. He wants them coming up onto their player within three seconds of them receiving the ball. And because of that, Spurs just couldn't deal with it. Over the game, yeah, of course, players got tired. And you saw the likes of Lucas, the likes of La Lana probably were the most noticeable that went out of the game as it went a little bit further on, I felt. You think fatigue? Yeah, well, listen. Because of that, isn't it? Yeah, yeah, listen, they've pressed harder. And he is literally shaking over the corner. And, yeah, you know, they've had to work a lot harder than probably they have done in the last few games. Whether that's, you know, we can't say whether that's the fact that clock wants them to move so much. Or whether it's the fact that it's a new manager in and you just get that extra little 10, 15% anywhere. Every team gets that, you know what I mean? So I don't know, like, I was very pleased with it. Like I think we'd have taken a draw at Spurs, you know, knowing the situation we were in. Had that been two weeks ago, we were playing three at the back with Chan and in the back three. You know, we were set up and I think Spurs might have caused us harm on the day. We, you know, we were probably lucky to not concede a goal. I thought Minile had a decent game and made a couple of good saves. Very decent game. Well, given the injuries that we have at the minute, when you look at who we were missing, seven people who you would class as first teamers or very, very close to, to, to stake in a claim for a place. And especially up top, like you're missing Ben Teke, you're missing storage. You know, Origi looked at, and you're missing Ings as well, a player who scored three goals in five games for us. You know, and you wanted those three in instead of Origi. And I think we'd have caused them more problems up top. Fair enough. Paul Klopow himself said something about the zero on the right of the column was the thing that he was hanging out of to his, the real achievement of the game. And first he had said in advance, you know, we got to get solid first. Yeah. It's not the big takeaway for you. Yeah, definitely, like, it's our first clean sheets since about 1997 or something. Yeah, that's not much going on. Yeah, likes to see what said that it was a good kind of place to build from it. It was a good kind of indicator of what we can expect. Obviously, it didn't go fully to plan. It wasn't as if we were, like, dominating them for 90 minutes. But we did put the mooch on them quite well, I thought. And yeah, especially, like, when you consider the game, he's coming into the game. He's missing, like, half the first team, basically. It's his first game, he's trained three days. Look, he's trained with these players for about three days. And, like, if you're going to go out and mooch a team, like, Spurs is one of the hardest teams to do it to, because, like, they mount the day one. Like, they're trying to mooch you back, basically. They mooch you right back. Yeah, so, yeah. So, I think the first half and hour, basically, you'll be looking to get that, you know, for most of the game from us going forward. That kind of, I thought, we did kind of mooch quite well during the game. But, like, the first half hour was where you really saw the Gagan mooch, and it's the finest form of mooching. To be fair, I feel, was that what struck you as well? The solidity at the back, or was it the full-press mooch? Yeah, look, you know, all you want to do is see the signs. You know, and it's so hard to know what this team is going to look like in six, eight months' time. You know, from the off, you know, this whole thing is about intensity. It's how a game plan is about intensity. It's about forcing the other opposition to make mistakes. I mean, if you get them to make the mistakes as close to the wrong goal as possible, you inevitably create chances. And that's what was the most impressive part about it. It was like, in the first 26 minutes, to me, showed what this team is going to be, 50% of what this team is going to be about. It was just relentless, like-- Why did you-- Why do you rather go to 26? Because at that stage, then Lucas's legs go, and the LAN is like-- 26 minutes. Yeah, 26 minutes. OK, good, good. And then we were sort of down, like, there wasn't the mobility in midfield anymore. And, you know, the LAN is like-- he wasn't as fluid and as mobile around the pitch. But if you look up until then, you can see a new-- you could see a new work ethic in the team. And some of it is obviously going to be as well that, you know, the hunger and the desire to play for a club, you know, just that forced game. I really want to go out and impress. I really want to do it all. And even in the initial parts where, you know, when we've won the ball up there, it looks to be intricate movements. There isn't this just this random fucking toss the ball into the box and hope what's going on. They were trying to play triangles around the edge of the box. It wasn't coming off. But you can see that that's what he wants. He wants to be-- he wants to pull the other defense because we've got them so far back in their own half. He wants to pull them out of shape to create gaps for really good technical players, the likes of Catenio, the likes of even Moreno, the likes of Chan to get up and join him. And to be able to get into those gaps so that when the split spin passes around the edge, they've pulled one of the players out, they've pulled them into them, and they've created that space, very similar to how Wenger's team do when they attack. They pull other teams. No matter how you set up, you can put all the players in the box if you want. They'll eventually pull you out of shape. Purely because players started interchanging in roles. They're not in the same position. You're going, "Shit, chill out." - You have to go and meet them all at some point and therefore disturb their shape. - And it all comes. And I don't like-- the thing about Brendan Rodgers, when he was there, was the style of game that he was espousing is the style of game that Jorgen Klopp was trying to implement. And you know, in that, going back to where Ronan taught in '14, one of the things that we talked about was how as a team, you know, we moved right up onto the opposition and we got right in close to him and we just fucking, you know, we wouldn't let them move out of that. But that was only six months. We've had one game and I've never seen a manager with such little time to work with a team. Already infused an ideology and a style and a method into the way that he plays. - Are you going too much to say that? You think it's definitely-- - No, you can see it. There was a total emphasis on getting into those players, you know, to make sure that when we moved that they could not get out, you know, there was no options. They were closing the options off left, right and center. And I've heard people say, "Oh, so that's just walking for 90 minutes." Well, if that was the case, then every single team in England would move just hard as we did on Saturday. - Well, I think that's half the team. I think Brendan Rodgers wanted his teams to press, whereas Klopp wants his teams to mooch. And that's the difference in it, you know, and that's where it's sustainable. You know, you can, I suppose as time went on, the pressing dropped off, whereas Klopp's teams have always mooched for 90 minutes. Every game, they mooch, they mooch, they mooch. - Relentlessly. - Yeah, yeah. And, you know, there's no two ways around that, you know? And I think that's what he's trying to do. I was going to try and instill between now and Christmas. - What did you think of the... - Just on that, if you see the chances that were the half chances that we were making, it all came from that, from the three players up front, just completely closing out space, completely closing out the man, not letting them tour, not letting them have the easy pass. An awful lot of the time when you look at other teams, you know, they look to close out space and options, when the team has come out of their own toward and has started to move into the middle toward and into the final toward. Whereas in this, we wanted to get it. And on the edge of their 18-yard box, we wanted to get them, make the mistakes there. And when those lads went in and you could see, the difference, as Steve says, between a press and a mooch, is just that you can't turn. You can't turn. No matter what way you're torn, the mooch is on you. And it's like, no matter what you do, it's just, it doesn't know where to go. So inevitably, you're able to nick the ball and win a back. Now, all we have to do is be a bit more cuter in possession because if we get cuter in possession, then no team will be able to survive the mooch. - There was a few periods in the game where I thought the enthusiasm was there, but the organization clearly isn't yet because he has only had such a short time to work to players. And at times, I thought we resembled a kid's team, swarming around after a ball in numbers. Not headless, but not as organized as he likes it. - Yeah, no, I agree. - And it will come. - Of course, exactly. And that's what it is. - You take any sport, anywhere. You get a manager in three days who asks you to play in a different way. Yes, we kept the same formation, so that helped. But you ask, you get a manager in who asks you to play in a certain way. And I'm sure, from listening to him, you would assume that his thing was, listen, if we're gonna lose, lose bravely. His ideas are, be brave on the ball. Don't be afraid to make a mistake. Try do the right thing. So I'm sure that's what he's instilled to, for that first week, he was there. That's what he's been instilling for the players that were there for the full week, even the ones that came back late. This is what I want you to do, try it. If it doesn't work, I'll hold my hands up and take the blame away from you boys. But this is what I want you to do. This is what I want you to try. And I suppose that's what we're gonna get over to. We listen, we don't know we're gonna get over to him because it all depends on how the players that we have adapt. I thought Katina was terrible the other day, or maybe not terrible. - Just ineffective. - But very ineffective. - And on the ball, in effect. - Oh yeah, yeah, he was doing the job. He was asked out of possession, but the things that we normally praise and associate continue for, he didn't deliver. - No, there could be an element of the fact that Regie wasn't making the same runs as what? - Storage. - Storage rings, wood of, don, and therefore, we've always seen that from Katina. When he's had Balotelli in front of him, he's looked ineffective. When he's had Ricky Lambert there, he's looked ineffective because the balls he wants to play, where his brain is telling him to put the ball, the smart place to put on there. There's no one going there, so he has to alter his game to who's up front. So that's probably played a part in it, you know? - I think a lot, though, you know, from Saturday, as much as we've talked about, you know, the way we went at them and, you know, but the real focus has to be, you know, how good defensively, climbing Moreno and Saccoer, because they just looked different players, you know, and how atrocious Martin Skert was. I think it just shows up how poor of a defender I feel it is. - Well, hopefully, you know, listen, I never want to see our players doing poorly, but I think a lot of us on this podcast, anyway, have said that Skertle has been nearly a victor of fortune in the sense of, you know, what has happened to other defenders around him. We haven't been able to take it. I mean, he never gets injured. So he never is out of the side. So therefore, as other people break around him, he's the consequence. - He's still there. - You know, and you don't want to constantly change up your defense, you're trying not to as much as you can. So, you know, that's why he stayed there. I think with time, he probably won't suit the style of play or the way we... - I was able to picture Paul Brennan on Saturday while watching the match when the Harry Kane conspiracy fucking was tearing Skertle and noone. I've never, like, he completely dominated Skertle. - Yeah. - But he's doing nothing. Literally, but he's doing nothing. - Yeah, plan for the rest of the team just seemed to be able to take the ball off Kane that way I didn't utilize him. But anytime he went near Skertle, like, it was the skert show all over again. - Do you remember the one on the fourth half where he just fell over? (laughing) He waved his time-lord stick. (laughing) He just fell over. - Yeah. - I thought Sacco and Chan were excellent. You know, and it was really nice to see Chan gone in there. I'm not saying he was faultless from our helmet, but it's where we've wanted to see him play since... - Let's put a bit of shape on him. We'll work our way through the team like that, but just like you started speaking about the defense there and we're pretty much guaranteed. I don't know. Is it fair to say that this is probably the first manager, eventually like you say Sacco, who will probably discover the truth about Martin Skertle to that. He's not really... - Listen, he is a decent defender. The way we've tried to play as... You put him in a different team and I think he'd look fine. You know what I mean? I think he'd look fine in a reactive defense that likes to sit on the edge of the right team. - I actually think he'd look... - And he last-ditch tackles. He'd look a decent defender in a Jowsy Marineial defense. - Yeah, sometimes like that, we're well-drilled. They will accept balls into the box from wide areas and they are set up to block out in front of them. You know, they're not left to be torn apart by only the best teams, I suppose, are managed with Chelsea. - Realistically, we were lucky to survive some of his calamities there in Saturday. - We've been lucky to survive some of his calamities all season long from the first game of the season. He's been doing crazy shit, just falling over the ball and it's not a rescue ball situation in your opinion. - Is it a rescue ball situation? - Anything could be rescue ball. I don't know what club's capable of with any player. - You'd like to see him. - I don't think so, no, but I don't know. Just think the only time he's ever really looked good was Kenny's team that just slowed the game down and the defense never moved off the 18-yard box really. - It's like with the crawl, eventually he just lands beside the scarequill. - Is that a lot of straw in a fucking check? - Oh my God, all this time, you freaks. - Really? - You're rapping. - Yeah. - You're cheeky fucker. - Except at this stage, every crow knows he's not real. - Oh yeah, there's a lot of straw shit on his head and all that, yeah. - It was actually great to see Rogers and Nala's time there. I don't remember many times from coming out and really saying anything critical about any of the players so that much. Unless it was an off-field incident, whereas Cloppa's already out today. He's tracking away his five-med fielders. Here's the areas that I feel they can improve in. - He actually had a word for everyone and it was only partially praising. - Yeah. - It was a little bit of-- - It was always something. - That's crafty. - That's tremendous stuff. - That's the sort of shit Ferguson used to do as well. He was capable of spinning a little story to gee up his player to say, not go fuck yourself. The way, unfortunately, Rogers kind of had a way of doing with players by the looks of things, but more of a, I'll show you, I'm capable of being in this side and deserving of a place in this side. And I think it's brilliant. - He sort of challenged them rather than like, I wasn't kind of saying they were shit. He sort of challenged them and said, "You can do a lot better and try to coax them "or out of them." But like, yeah, Matt and Scott, I don't see that as rescuable at all. I mean, he's a year and a bit away from testimony or territory. Like, this is desperately upsetting stuff. (all laughing) And I mean, he's had maybe a season, a good season, and then a couple of other decent half seasons out of that. - Maybe, I think, truthfully, if we could try and flag them in January and had somebody lined up with Clop had in his mind who he liked to bring in. - An actual human being, a matter of fact. - But you'd probably still get someone who could pay you 10, 12 million quid for Skirtle because he has this reputation for being, and a commentator still talk about it. You know what I mean? Martin Skirtle, the rocker Liverpool's defense, and you're going, well, that's why you fucking rock sink, you know what I mean? Because he's not very good, you know? - It's a real shame. - You know, along so item. Sacco. - Yeah. - Like, people have, you know, have wondered about Sacco and have questioned about his ability and the holder. But again, you know, put him in a defense where the manager wants them to squeeze or play a much higher line, get on the ball, play from the back. And he's just a natural in that, you know what I mean? He's just natural in terms of what he wants. And if that's how we're defending terms of squeeze and hoyloins, to allow the team to get forward up the pitch, allow them to get in and move to the top half of the pitch, right? Then it's, you know, he's perfect for it. And I hate saying, people are going to go fucking, I'm shit, I don't give a shit, right? But Lovren is more suited to play alongside him as the right centre back than Skirtle is. 'Cause Skirtle wants to drop 15 yards back out of time. And he was the forceman to drop all the time on Saturday. Sacco had them all up, cloying, smashing. Cloying is smashing. Cloying knows what to do. He's a very intelligent footballer. And again, they're cutting out crosses. You know, something that they weren't doing on the Rodgers for two or three weeks or four weeks or four weeks where they'd stopped, where they stared at all the strategies and cutting out crosses. You were back to cutting out crosses again at the weekend. And the difference that that makes, and it just shows you the capabilities of those two fullbacks, two other strengths is stopping crosses. And that's what they were doing. And also they had the freedom to get on all the time. And that's, you know, these are little things. These are things that we've been talking about and talking about and imagine that that was what was going to happen at the start of the season anyway, but didn't happen. And then when it happens, you're saying to yourself, well, you know, it brings you back around. You hear so many times saying people, but how the fuck are we meant to know? She only sit there and watch the game and their managers and the whole up. But when you see things happen that you're being saying, why aren't we doing this? And it happens and then it's suddenly good. You gotta ask yourself, how can somebody not see that that's involved with those players and is coaching on a day-to-day basis? Thankfully, we seem to have a fella who knows what the strengths of each of the players, even going back to the midfielders. He knows where he wants each of them to improve. He knows how to ask them to improve that way. - Yeah. - He's already identifying the 5% and it's the 5% on the majority of professional footballers, good for professional footballers that takes them from being next level. A good player to having a real wort in a team challenge for top four. - There was something very raffa about the immediate aftermath of the match where he clubbers out in the pitch and he was having a really in-depth conversation with Lucas. Lucas was just full of enthusiasm, chatting away to him and he went around each and every person. And we had Jordan now getting a slap in the face when I'm making eye contact, which I absolutely fucking loved. I think that was wonderful. But if you can see that influence there and you can't, and we've said it before, you're gonna get with any new boss, even if fucking Sam Allard D, she got a little bit of a kick on for the new man. But the personnel that were there, one thing that was desperately short in the side was pace. It was the two fullbacks that you mentioned were our only outlet, our only little bit of pace. I was amazed at how little pace Origi seemed to have. I know you've a theory about this, that he's kind of a, he builds up to it. - Yeah, yeah. As I said to you, he's a... - He's a 400 meter man, 100 meter man. - He's a motorbike drag racer. So it takes him a bit to get going and when he goes, then he flies. - 'Cause he slide on the corners as well. - He slides on the corners as well. And he's very good in straight lines. We're not great in going around corners. Actually, he's not built for going around corners. It's more about straight lines being, you know, whereas, whereas storage is not like, he's a farm to one car off the start line. It's all about acceleration. - That first five yards, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. - And Suarez, Suarez had horrific pace. Has horrific pace. But his fourth five yards is, it's all about acceleration that you get. - Sure, I was the same. He had that burst to just get a yard pass to somebody in there. - And when you go, you go. - Well, that's where you need your pace, you know, especially if you're playing the top half of the pitch, you know, or even in midfield that, you know, if you want to get past, because when you've made that yard very quickly on somebody, their reaction is to either trip you or let you go. So one of two things happens. You get a free slash panel or you're into space where you can get a shot away or play a decisive pass. - And it's also crucial that when you have teams pinned in the round, in the round toward, that this space that's going to open up is two or three yards. It's not 15, 20 yards. You're not going to be playing balls at the space where somebody's going to be able to, who has pace over say 10, 20 yards is going to get onto. They have to have quick acceleration to get in and meet those small little passes. And that's what we're trying to play. As I said, we're trying to open up teams intricately around the box, which would create one or two yards on a pass. And it'd be, you'll need one or two yards acceleration pace. - And that was his chief criticism of the team. He said that we weren't cool in the right situations and we didn't see passes that were there. We didn't use our brains. We said, or whatever phrase he used. - But you do get excited when you think about a little bit of dynamism coming into that team. - That's a little bit of explosiveness. - And he very few players are right. - Better at seeing that pass than what Coutinho is. So he had an off game, let's put that to one side. I think he will absolutely excel in this side. I think Firmino is an intelligent footballer from the limited amount that I've seen him. He just seems to, I don't mean for Liverpool in terms of just seeing the little bits that I've seen in the past, he seems to have a level of intelligence in terms of when to play the right ball and when not to. - And L'Alana has that as well. Let's be honest, L'Alana does have it. Do you know what I mean? He's not, he would like, we slag him over as Croyf Torrens and whatever else. - But he's just pouring out of pass. - That would ultimately be a downfall. - Pour out the pass. - Yeah. - He sees the pass, but it's the execution of it is the problem half the time. - That'll be a downfall. I can see where the players will have the downfords. Many of that is distribution won't be good enough. I mean, not even Tottenham was kicking. I'm talking milk at the ball, it was a sad. Voting fella used to when crappers at Dortmund and most German goalkeepers feed quickly from their hands in terms of trolls to start things off a lot quicker than having to wait to kick the ball. - So he was bringing shots up and will be in love with you then ultimately. - Yeah. - I think like players like L'Alana and you don't players like Henderson, the pace that we're going to play at now, I think will suit them better. Like L'Alana, obviously the big joke about Mrs. Torrens, but like he had to give it to him. He has got a turn taking the ball on the turn. It's like when he comes up against a packed offense and he takes a total, a lovely touch and then he tries another lovely touch and another lovely turn now that he's not getting anywhere. Whereas now we've got, we'll have the defence on the back foot like we're trying to catch them before. - Yeah, yeah. I think they're properly entrenched. - Henderson has gone to suit this. He likes playing at 100 miles an hour. Henderson's best form was when Suarez was there and the team was playing at 100 miles an hour. This is going to suit him down to the ground. Milner, people are rubbish in them and criticizing them on Saturday. Look, I actually thought he was in his best area which is out in that right hand side as part of the tree sort of attacking midfielders. And he was able to cover an intimate field when Lucas's legs were gone and then was back out to do what it was like. - He'll probably be a bit pissed off about it because he signed for us and his idea was going on a play center midfield. But truthfully, he's a very industrious player to have out there and he looked well. And you know what, if that's what's best for the team because I still think Hendo and Chan in that, you replace Lucas with Henderson. I think you're in an excellent position, you know what I mean? - For the moment, if we make some different signings, honestly, I don't care who plays anymore. I really don't. I'm not getting upset by saying, I can't believe he didn't start. I can't believe this person didn't start. I don't give a shit once the actual system is right. - Yeah, it should be less relevant. - It should be less relevant as to what individuals, if it's a matter of Coutinho doesn't get a game. But if LaLana goes in and performs in that position or whoever it is or whoever it is goes in and performs better in that or even not better 'cause it's hard to quantify. But goes in and has a good game. - It's more effective. - Who cares whether Coutinho is on the bench or not. And we need to get that overhead. It doesn't always need to be our favorite players on the pitch. - It just calls in the system. - Exactly, it needs to be the group of players that are best suited to it, you know. - So you're saying then Colotore instead of Sarco for Sunday against the captain. - You know what, yeah, of course, I'm gonna sit there and go off for folks sake. But if Turi came in and Klopp sees something that he says, there's something about Southampton that I think Turi can do a better job there. And he goes in and has a good game, happy days. If he goes in and has a shit game, but then you're gonna have the right to say, I think Sako should have started there instead. But that's kind of how I feel. You know, I think part of the system that we're gonna employ is down to the fact that I watched the thing on Klopp there the other day. And he actually has pulled his system from the 1972 Munch and Gladback side. - Oh yeah? - Yeah. And that's where you're gonna see... - Do you spell that with a lumbler? - Yeah, it's M-U-U-N-L-O-C-H. And so I think from that you will see an element of, you know, that side, if you wanna go back and look at them, I haven't done so yet. But I think you will see an element of that creep. And that's what he said he wants to bring in. That's where he said he's got the idea of the high mooch rather than a pressing game. - So we'll just have to wait and see. Listen, it's much more muchness. - Mooch of a moochness, in fact. - Mooch of a moochness, I like it, Trevor. - Thanks. - Am I a child, Paul? Were you enthused? - Yeah, I thought so, like the team kind of, not like a monstrous 90 minutes from him, but like there was good signs out of him. Like I thought some of his press was brilliant 'cause that's one of the things that's been leveled up that like, you know, he doesn't have the engine to kind of mooch for the whole game. But I think there are proper signs that he will, he will get there. - He needs to shoot more, doesn't he? - Yeah, well, he nearly got a winner at the end, but yeah, I think definitely like, 'cause he does have a bit of a rocket in his right booth. But him and Lucas did quite well. Lucas probably got exposed, I think over the course of the game, you know, the pace that the game was played at. And I think it kind of exposed the fact that he can't really take the ball in the turn. He got us in trouble a few times passing backwards. I think the most, I think on the Lucas bit, the fact that it's not the right man to start games once we have all our midfielders back. But if you need to just shore up a little bit, bring him in. He has a half an hour of, yeah, tanking him, that he can work at that speed, you know what I mean? He can work at the speed that's required. - I leave it to you. - I leave it to you when the legs do disappear. You know, if that's the accepted wisdom that we're going with it. - I never hate seeing looks in the teamwork. - I don't hate it. I'm not game off load levels of rage. - That's because you've got head problems. - That's what I do. - Yeah, this is hard to argue. I do have head issues there. - I actually can't. - I'd love to want it. - I have no comeback. (laughing) - But the reason Chan will be a good player for Klopp is that Klopp's not looking for his midfielders to dominate the game with 200 passes each. It's all about, like, do they have the energy to keep us going? Like, you just keep the ball moving quickly. It's not gonna ticky-taker, anything like that. It's just, you know, get the moods going, get forward and get back when we lose it. - I love seeing him just moving forward towards the opposition penalty area with the hand sets. You know, the way he holds his right hand out, just like this. - I would say, I'd love to see him. - So he's carrying a shop. I'm like, he's carrying a shop at that. - I'd like to see him even without the ball when he's going forward. There was a bit where Klopp, I think, did a big air punch when they would chant, like, chase out something, threaten the monster, someone out with the torch line. After the big kind of team mooch. So, yeah, like, I think Chan's gonna be brilliant, though. I think he has the personality, as well, to play well for Klopp. Like, I think Klopp's the sort of manager who gets players. Like, players like Chan and Sacco, who are kind of vocal. He gets more fire in their valleys, I think. And I think the two of them will be brilliant for us. - What do you reckon, what do we think, then, as a kind of a sum up, that the manager will have learned from the game with, right, I think-- - I think he's-- - Scaredful, that's the goal. - I think the main thing he's going to have learned is that Martin Scaredo doesn't fit into his team, but he's gonna have to play him at the moment because of just the personnel issues. And he's not going to destroy him in the press, but at the same time, he's not gonna talk about him with the press, which he hasn't. - Yeah. - Lovren's close, apparently, to come back. So you could end up seeing him. - Well, if he is, maybe we'll see him on Thursday, playing at right center back, which I've been caught now for, for now, the best part of six months. But, you know, I just think that he's learned that this team needs to get fitter for the uber move that he's trying to get down on the side. So-- - Yeah, definitely. There is a level of fitness that's required for what he wants the team to do, that they're just not at yet. - So people are not gonna need to get over themselves. It's not gonna be any quick fix here. It's gonna be-- - No, no, we said that last week. You're gonna have to give him time. He had X amount of days to work with the players. He has less days this week because they've a real believe fix around Thursday. You know, this is going to take four or five months before we see the team really taking the shape in terms of the story he wants. And at that stage, it's gonna evolve more because you'll come around to Sumer and you'll have players in that he really wants to impact in the areas that needs to impact. He needs to see now who in this squad he wants to keep, who has the capability-- - For the next season. - Yeah, who has the capability to go to the levels that he's expecting the team to go to, right? - Yeah. - And they're all gonna get fair game to do this. So this is not pre-season, but it's effectively a pre-season for him to see who each of these players are and what their capabilities are. He praised Miller in terms of being a machine. I'd say that was probably one of the highest pieces of praise that you could get from York and Klopp in terms of this fella is non-stop and will go all day for me. And I love this. - And he's gonna see that from Henderson as well. - He's gonna see that from Henderson. You know, he's taught to build continues. He can give us a lot more on the ball. So already he knows that, he knows what continue is capable of. Now it's up to continue to deliver. He's talking that the land needs to improve by 20, 20%, that's Daman. That's Daman in terms of, 'cause he's talking about fitness levels there. - He said you remember him from a Southampton time and he was a different player back then. - Yes, so it's Daman in terms of saying, listen fella, you need to up your game because 26 minutes isn't good enough for me. - You know what I mean? - He's had a visible impact already. And I think that's even more remarkable 'cause it's not as if he's taken over a team that was playing well, then had, you know, a month and a half of show form and sector manager. This is a team where you can't even remember the last time they played well. - Probably turn to him for 60. - Yeah, it's been regressive for 60 months. - It's been like a ship, it's been like a ship without a captain now for about a year. And he has to come in and try and change that with a completely different style of play. So I think what we've seen so far is, I think it's been really good actually when you consider the kind of the mess really that he's taken over. - I think there's a need to adopt the same philosophy that some people had to do even had last year. And that's, if we can get top four, maybe not playing very well, maybe just because other teams fucked up, it doesn't matter. - Yeah, get to the summer, somebody lets us in, get to the summer in the top four, and he's in a position. And you know what? I've been most impressed by in the last week, how good he's gonna be at attracting players. And we have not had a manager capable of attracting players since Raffa Benita. - How does that impress you specifically? - The amount of people who have come out and spoken about them, the amount of people that you see saying-- - And quasi. - Like, Hummel's is coming out there today saying, "Clop is gonna win Liverpool at Premier League." Like, you know what I mean? These are players that are coming out and saying these things because, I'm not saying the incident, "Oh, Hummel's wants to join Liverpool." That's ridiculous because he probably has his pick of guaranteed Champions League teams. - Yeah. - Dortmund are probably going to go back to being a guaranteed Champions League team. Let's be honest. So, I'm not saying that, but what I'm saying is, there's a level of respect that Klopp just commands. He is probably in the top five coaches in the world. If you look at, you know, who are around the major leagues, you've got one coach in France in Blanc. You know what I mean? You've got fucking two in, maybe three in Spain. You know, with Emery, you've got, if you look at Benitez and you've got David Moyes. David Moyes. Well, are they called David D Moyes? But you know what I mean? You've got that, and then you've got Gardiola. - I want to know about all these managers that you know about. I want to know the Steve O'List of the top 10 managers in Europe. - Who would I? - Like, what I mean by top 10 managers, I'm not talking about capable of getting their teams to perform because in 13, 14, you could arguably say, Brendan, Rob, you mean-- - You're just a manager to an attraction in themselves. - I'm in themselves. What club they go to, players will be attracted to that club. And that's what club has. Club has that ability to attract players and to make players want to come to the club, to play for him. Not to come because they played as Liverpool on FIFA, fucking 94 on their old Sega Mega Drive, because they were supporting them along with Man United and every other club that was interested in the same player when they were a boy. I'm talking about an actual fucking manager that brings people in because they want to play for him. And actually, Liverpool is the second most important part of that player wanting to sign. He is the number one. And we haven't had that since Benitez could attract the likes of Javi Alonso, Reina, and Torres, and Macheron Otsa, Nunez. - And Nunez, and your semi. - It sounds really cliche and Robby Hamfist to try and-- I'm not making a comparison between the two of them as Liverpool managers, but the way his ex-players talk about him is the way, you know, when you listen to the players talk about Shankly, where he was, like, you know, the most domineering part of the club. And, like, you know, like, you see them saying, "What was it like to play for Shankly?" And you can see them kind of looking at, "Oh, cheers, yeah, it was deadly, did this." And that's a sort of thing like we've seen the ex-players from Dortmund come out with, like-- - Half of freedom as well. - Yeah. - Half of freedom. - It's a big imposing, crazy cunt. - Yeah. - Let's be honest about it. - If a big fucker comes up to you, who just randomly laughs every now and then, you don't know, and it maybe might give you a dig in the face if you're not looking at it. - It's like a 15% insanity. You know, I know we're mates. Now, I may slit your throat. - Oh, my goodness. - It's like he really carries back. It's like he really carries back home, 'cause that gives you a brilliant Christmas presence, but probably has a few bodies buried under the hat. Especially when he was at Dortmund, and his hair was everywhere. He looks a bit too kind of trim now, almost like-- - When he goes mental on the sideline. 'Cause, and it will happen. - Oh, of course. - It will happen. That's when you'll see-- - A couple of times he did it on Sunday, BT brought up that little clop cam, and I was really hoping they'd leave it up for the entire match, 'cause I was enjoying that more than the fucking game itself. And there was one bit, I think it could have been chan, but I think it was Moreno cleaved one of their players on the sideline. - And he was fucking-- - And he was literally double over, like other managers would stand there stony-faced, and just maybe pat the fella on the back and just say, "Oh yeah, get on with it." And clap, it was like clap, you told him the funniest joke ever, but he just looked at it. - Yeah. - Moreno, he crazy bastard. - He's torn around, he's torn around. - He's torn around, he's torn around. - He's torn around, lookin' all that. - You see him? He's like, "He fucking nailed him." (laughing) - I'm sure, right, it's deeply unsettling, because the next minute he was actually lookin' a client, and it looked like he wanted to kill him. - Yeah. - The job says-- - There's a level of intensity with him. - Yeah. - That is gonna make, that's the sort of shit that makes, that's the sort of shit that makes those sort of managers, you know, have that level of authority. You know, it's that little bit of craziness. - Yep, yep, lovely. Well, hopefully we're gonna see some more craziness on the sideline on Thursday Night, which is our next game. We might sort of start lookin' forward to Liverpool versus Ruben Kazan then on Thursday night. Collapse first home game. The crowd's gonna get analysed Paul as much as, what's goin' on the picture, aren't they? It's definitely gonna be a big talkin' point then. You know, we love lookin' at ourselves more than any other fan base. We're always analysing each other, and there's all this division and stuff. - Yeah, the crowd is gonna be the folks with attention. It's not like, how are they responding, you know? - Yeah, yeah, I'm not sure how it is gonna go, 'cause obviously the way crowd is always great anyway, but like Anfield has been absolutely rubbish now for years, kind of the title runnin' that we had in '13, '14. So I may be well inspired, but I can probably still see the same sort of quiet periods that we're used to. - Yeah, it's just like, it's hard to share that anxiety. That seems to be very much part of the experience these days, you know? - Yeah, it is, it's like when Lambert and Enrique take you on the tour of the museum, like, now go and sit in your seat and shit your pants for fuckin' points in life, and it's like, yeah, I'm not sure, like, obviously he's had a big impact. I'm not sure if he's quite enough of a miracle worker to kind of fix what's wrong with the atmosphere. The atmosphere, so we'll see how, 'cause I'm sure it'll start off brilliant, but you know, the first time someone makes a mistake, you know, everyone would be pissing them on, and as usual, I'd say. - I'm not so sure. - You don't think? - I think there might just be that air of a buzz, especially it would have been a mid-week game. People get there at a bit early, couple of points in them, they're all mad to see fuckin' Big Yurgy Bear on the line, and I think it might actually just have a rebie. You know, they want to impress him, you know? And I heard Gary Neville coming out and saying during the week about how, you know, it's a little bit embarrassing. He wasn't actually being too critical, but he was kind of saying, Liverpool should feel that that is the sort of manager they deserve, not be fawning over him like he's the Messiah. And I kind of do understand where he's coming from on that, but we haven't been in that situation for a good while. So, of course, we feel like that at the moment. We feel like, oh my God, the Hopperd and the Disco chose me. - It's a bit, it's a bit of rich code from Gary. Gary Neville after that noisy made on Taurus, Gordon the Sun before he was a champion. - No, I know that, but like what I'm saying is, yeah, I like never, but what I'm saying is, I think the fans will be out to show Klopp that this is, you know, his new fuckin' place to be, and that they can rock it as well. And I hope that's the case anyway. - Do we think this election will tell us quite a bit as priorities and feel you've previously spoken about how you think he's definitely gone to zero in on the Europa League as a very, very important competition for us. Can we expect to tell a lot, but are we just limited by the injury situation anyway? - We're limited by the injury situation. Supposedly storage is fit and he's going to play him. So, I'm glad to see that. - You're the same, Ben Tekke is training as well, yeah. - Yeah, but like if you have Ben Tekke on the bench and storage starting, Ben Tekke probably gets minutes as well, storage gets 60 minutes to assume that he hasn't done his knee again. - Like it is only a bang he got. So fair enough to talk him out the other day because it was a, I'd say nearly had that been a Sunday or a Monday game, he might've been okay. You know, it was the fact that it's a 12 o'clock Saturday. They gave him a fitness test before the game. You don't do that if the player is very close. - And look, they're gonna be nervous. - Yeah. - Because of his injury record. Like, you know, there's a bit of fuckin', you know, why, why, and it was good to see Klopp now playing because like, why start and risk him if you're going to lose him for six months because of the thing, you know? I don't think, I would've been amazed that had Rogers done that. Do you know what I mean? I would've been amazed had Kenny done that because he's perceived to be too big of a player that we can't score goals with all of your injuries going on with the loss of things, with the loss of Ben Tekke and you're left with Origi. So that's such a big car to say, I'm not even gonna put him on the bench. - Yeah. - I'm gonna put Sinclair on the bench instead. And I'm gonna play Origi 'cause I write Origi. You know, that was a big, huge handful of confidence for Origi to say, do you know what fella? I believe in you. No matter what happens today, I'm gonna say nice things about it in the press and I believe in you and I think, and you're a player that I see that has a future here. I'd say, although he didn't look like a player that was full of confidence, but that's because he's lacking a goal. If you know, Origi went out there fucking shoulders bigger than they had been for a while. You know, head up in the air, ready to grow and fuckin' run and just mooch all fuckin' day long for a club. So when I'm looking at Thursday, storage is gonna be really hungry to get back in to show clap how much he can give to this team. You know, all this talk about him not being a hard worker, that he's gonna mooch as hard as anybody else in that team. And it's the same for Sunday. You know, it's a big game as well on Sunday in terms of September. We can't afford not to win against Southampton if we have our ambitions to win in the league. So, you know, it's really important that we get two gold results now, two back-to-back wins and really get the club air underway. - I could see Origi starting again on Thursday with then taking not on the bench and storage getting 30 minutes because ultimately his match fitness isn't that bad. Like his match fitness was fine to last Thursday. Okay, you lose a little bit of sharpness in a week and a half, not enough to be worried about. So you give somebody 25 minutes at the end on Thursday, just to sharpen them up a little bit, he starts on Sunday then. Why take the chance on starting? - Yeah, maybe you have been taking on the bench. - Exactly, you have been taking on the bench for Sunday with Origi. Sinclair comes out with the squat. You know what I mean? That's what I could see happening. And that's showing that little bit of faith in Origi 'cause he's come out and backed him and said I liked him when I was at Dortmund. I tried to get him. I think he can be a good player, but Liverpool and that. You know, and I'm looking forward to, we're going to have some fun. I'm looking forward to working with all that sort of stuff. I think it'd be a bit harsh then to nail him to the bench again on Thursday night. It's a game we should be winning, you know. But I don't see, I don't think, I think, for me, it was near fitness or faith. He'd probably play him. You know, there's enough players there to give different players a run out. Joe Allen starts on Thursday. - Should do anyway. - Should do, right? - Please, you need to have a look at them, you know? - Yeah, because I don't think they're 12th in the primary league in Russia. So, I mean... - I know this sounds disrespectful and all. I don't give a gait, like, to be honest with you, I really don't care what will happen 'cause it's on there. Like, I don't even know what country they're in. So to me, it's... - Spain. - Grant. - Yeah. - Is it just David Moyes? No, but look, genuinely, right? The way I see this is that we are Liverpool. - Tra-la-la-la-la. (laughing) - Dear God. - And we should be at least capable of beating Ruben Kudzana home. - Mm. - Right, no, unless they're a world superpower, which they aren't, unless they're in the Champions League, which they aren't, we should be capable of beating them at home. - Hmm, yeah. - I think, I think Klopp looks at this and says, even, the reason I'm saying that likes to start Noriki, I think he thinks, in his own mind, he can probably take seven points from the last three games, which is what we'll have after Thursday, we'll still have them all to play again. - Yeah. - And I think he's saying to himself, even if it was a draw on Thursday, it's not the end of the world, he'd be confident that by the time two more weeks come around, 'cause I don't think we have a game the following week, things to week after that, before we be Europa game again, I think he'd be confident of having a good squad back, and I think we're gonna see him treat the Europa League in the premiership nearly as equals, and then give extra time in the likes of the FA Cup and the Carling Cup or whatever the fuck it's called now, to the squad players. So I think you're gonna, so he'll be looking at that and saying, well, listen, when I bang out my full strength team in the Europa against Ruben Kazan, against Bordeaux, you know what I mean? We can take the points in those matches. That's why I could see him starting with a couple of lads. The likes of Rosseter might get a run on instead of Lucas on Thursday, you know? - If you take a look at the two games, right? You know, he's not going to play Lucas in both matches. I can't see him playing it because he knows that Lucas doesn't have it in his legs. - Well, not three games in eight days. - And the way he wants him to play, he's not gonna have it in his legs. He may not even play Chan, because Chan has played in every single game this season. - Yeah. - You know, so he's gonna move it around. I think he thinks Miller's a robot, so he knows he can play in both games. - But you saw that bench at the weekend, I mean. - Well, why not play Chervila? Why not play, you know, why not give Cher out again? What's he got to lose? - Yeah, I think a lot of people like to sit up. - No, no, I'm just saying these are not, you can put the senior players on the bench if you need to save the game or something like that. But like, why not? Because the benefit he gets out of that is that Ruben's dad ain't going to know anything about those players outside of the team. And these players, you don't think he's going to have a galvanized effect on these kids, because when Chervila came on in the league, the Cup game he did very well. You know, Joe Teshara has never put a foot wrong when he's played that one game against Fulo. (laughing) - He knows 11 minutes of football. He got nothing wrong. - Nothing wrong. - And then you're still strong enough to go into the Southampton game. And assuming that storage is back, you've got storage back for the Southampton game. So already he drops out to the bench. And then you've still got, more or less, the team that played against Tottenham probably starts against them, but if Lovern is fit, he starts against, 'cause I'm on Torsley. - Yeah. He gets a chance to see what he can do his thing or not. - He's gone back to his old club, especially, you know? - Especially against Southampton. Because Southampton, we haven't talked about it. The Southampton game, you know, Southampton are going to be a very tough side to beat, because they're well-drilled, and they're now into the second season with a manager with his squad playing the way they want to play. And they're very efficient in terms of what they do. - And they just got sick in but clearly around here. He's incredible comeback boys at the weekend. - It doesn't matter. - They're going to be going on for it, right? And, you know, it'll be up to... It's going to be something that we have to go out and do. We have to get a win. It's been, I can't remember when we last won a league match. - It was? - Villa? - God. - And then before that, when was the last win a league game? - Some time in 2006, I think I won. - Oh, no, yeah. But, you know what I mean? It's not like you can say it's like, I can't remember what it's like to win a league game. - Yeah, certainly not to win a league either, yeah. - Yeah, so, and this is the key now. Win the next one, win the next one. And forget about what's up. - Well, it's still times in Chelsea. - Which? - Next two games. - Next two games. - Chelsea, yeah, which is... - It's not asking for much. - I think it's a whole lot. - Win the next one, win the next one. - See what happens then. - Then win the next one. - Win the next one. - Win the next one, and the next one. Maybe draw on the next one. - But then win the next one. - Then win the next one. - And then, we'll be getting baricles. - It's where we are. - We'll be there. - That's our fifth. - We'll probably win the league. - The Christmas camp. You know the win the Christmas league. - Yeah. - Top of the league, Christmas day. Get the trophy out. - Get the trophy out. The Christmas trophy. Well, genuinely, that's how Tour Team 40 happens. - It's the top of the turkey. - We just got out of a bad row of games and put a couple of wins together. And all of a sudden, we were there there about. - When we say a couple, you mean 13 straight wins. (laughing) - That was second on top of the Christmas. - All right. - Up to Christmas. - Give you that. - We basically just got a couple of wins and kept ourselves taken over all the way up to Christmas. - And all of a sudden, team's up to top. - Yeah, there's only the same number we started after turning these around. Then we had a couple of draws over Christmas and stuff. - Get points now on the board. Put points on the board. How we won on Saturday, we would have been fucking forced or something. And now. (laughing) - Well, it was a nine-point game. So we did drop eight points of that draw. - And now, now, we're eight points behind, but we'll win against Southampton and we'll be right back there in the mix. - Yeah. - Seriously. - There, there. - We win, back in the mix. - Back in the mix. - We've been to the underneath point behind Ziti. - So the right point's behind them now. So. (laughing) - That's how it works. - That's, yeah. - Going into the charity game with a chance to go top of the league. That's the way it looks. - Phil economics. - I just can't wait till we get the quality of the mood job a bit. I mean, I want to skip forward to that point. - 45 minutes of Gagan Moochin instead of just like 26 minutes. - Yeah. - That's the next step. - That's the goal, isn't it? - That's the goal. - I think you need a mood. - Another 15 minutes each of Moochin. - Yeah. - Each like, you know, week, I think. - Incremental mood. - Well, I think of you Mooch. It's more as for 45 minutes there on Saturday, you're one little up. - Yeah. - That's how I feel. And then, you know, okay, second half. - And then the defend and the lead will probably give you even more Moochin. Again, probably more-- - Well, it's going to draw them out a little bit more. So you're going to have probably your top three players Moochin, a little bit less, but still gaps are opening up because they have to come out a little bit to get back into the game. - That's very exciting to think about, isn't it? - Well, I'm excited. - Right, let's get some non-score predictions for how we think things are going to go. - Oh, if we kind of get to feel them already. Everyone here said we're going to win them. - No, I wouldn't like to be so certain about that. - What would you think, Dan, if you were to talk about? - I'm not certain we'll win. I think there's a good chance we probably score two and I can't see them score on a goal, but I wouldn't like to say we'd win the match. - Okay, okay, okay. Paul, have you any ideas about that? - I know I don't know how to, 'cause I was off, kind of, just been in the Europa League under Rogers, 'cause he had no hope of winning that. But then, I could do something in it, so I don't know what way he's going to approach or whatever he will throw in a load of youngsters, which is, you know, you don't know what's going to happen there or I feel go with most of the first team, in which case we should win. Ben, I'd probably throw a few youngsters in and I wouldn't be too desired if we drew the game at all. - Okay, okay, potentially, what do you think, Paul? - You know, I think this could be a high score and win for us. I think we probably get six or seven. (laughing) - The Munchpocalypse. - I'm looking out, I'm looking out. I don't feel absolutely pumping, you know, but we'll all be singing the club song. - Lucas, with at least a hat trick. - No, no, no, that's just gonna be too fair. But I definitely, I just, oh no, yeah, it's not really a horseman. - It's a lunar. - Definitely, yeah, I think, okay, maybe not six. Definitely seven, though, because (laughing) I think there's a besictus out over again. - Yeah. - Yeah, we couldn't even get 11. - All right, cool, 11. Do say Hampton for me now as well. - So, Hampton's gonna be a talkie. Is that at home or away? - It's home over there. - So, Hampton's a home game. - Right, so the lads will stay there after the 11, they'll win in the ground for-- - It's soaking up the atmosphere for three days. - For three days, right, and Clap is gonna have them train on the pitch and everything, just, you know, to keep the atmosphere up. So, it's gonna be an uber atmosphere at the game on Sunday as well. So, I think-- - That the four o'clock match, or is it the-- - Yeah, that's the four o'clock match. - I think we're late on, yeah. - So, I think we will-- - Fabian. - So, we'll scrape the game, and we'll scrape the win, boy, maybe three clear goals. - That is narrow. Paul, how do you see, Seth, how do we go? - I think we're win two, one. - Okay. - Another 15 minutes of moving into the second half. - Should be a lot. - I think we're win two, one, yeah. - Steve will come up with a win. - No, and, seriously, I'm not overly confident in a win against Seth Hampton, I think. - Warming myself. - I think a goal separates the game. What way that goes, I don't know. But I think they're just getting old, and that's, you know what I mean? Whether it's two, one, whether it's one, he'll, you know, but-- - I'm scared, I'm scared what Pella is going to do to scare you. - Are you very old? - I'm very old, now, mate. So. (laughing) - Something like these are gonna do much, to be honest. - But when he takes a few herbal Viagra's, (laughing) - I'm scared what your man Pella will do to scare you. Because, like, if Harry Kane, who has absolutely no ability whatsoever, can destroy you, scare you. - Or physical presence. - Or physical presence. Gratiana Pella, who-- - Yeah, that's up to the club to say to Sacco, to go and do Pella, you know? - If he, if Pella just decides to pull on to scare it all the time, there's absolutely, like, there's nothing you can do. Unless you're gonna split, keep swapping soils between your center backs. You know it yourself. And, you know, he's gonna get targeted. If, Cuman is not a take man, he's not, he's not an English media, or an English manager, and he's not going either. - No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. - He's not going to, he's not going to be tinct that Martin Skirt was, anyway, near a good physical defender whatsoever. And they'll just go and they'll just attack him for how much? - Hmm. - That's, that's me only concerned. So, if, if Lovin' starts instead of Skirt, we'll, we'll definitely win. - There's a shed. There's a shed. All right, that'll lose. - Well, I was just running away on your list of tripper chats, unbelievable stuff. You asked me anything about Liverpool FC. I will answer that immediately. I'm going to cycle up here, as you know, I played for Liverpool in the 1980s. What many trophies, played with the likes of Kenny Daggle each game soon as, "Oh, we wanted to what a team we were. "We were just unbelievable." Anyway, tripper chat. - No, second, like, second move. - Second move is like, he's a fat person. Like, if you look at his arms, legs, he moves, like he's a fat person, but he's really skinny. - Really wobbly. - Yeah, skinny wobbly. - It's like, he has to really push his arms, the legs, the move, but he's not like, but I know. - That's actually a great show, yeah. - That's, that's what it is. - 'Cause I was looking at him, I'm like, why does he look so weird? Like, is the way his limbs bend and all that? And then I was like, no, if you imagine him as a fat person, that's how a fat person. - He was really fat straight forward with the ball. - Where is his kid in this? - Scared? - That's like the holographic impression of a really big colossus. So you think, Jesus, your man's going to be really scary, then you go up and you put your hand out there. And he just goes out there. It's like, there's like, there's a little balls behind the corner in there. - It's like, that's only, I'm going to have to take it there so I don't come in. - Yeah, I'm going right. - Yeah, cool. - All right, okay, right, so before we do Trevor's chest and Phil, I believe you have a German, clever German word. - We have, yeah. - Which is? - Tor, speaking, tor, speaking, tor, speaking. - What the... - What? - What happened there? - Seriously. - Yeah, I think I have no idea what's up with him. (laughing) - Phil's had a brain aneurysm. (laughing) - We have just one person. - Two's ball talking. (laughing) - Okay, you're trying to create a jingle, okay? - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - So the word is? - That was shit, by the way. - Oh, yeah, cheers. - What we gotta go do. - Absolutely. (laughing) - Just fucking get on with it, would you? (laughing) - It's bad, no, we're going to have to listen to one of your wanky songs at the beginning of this. (laughing) - Don't start making jingles as well. - We're in here this week, so I can imagine. - Wow. - You mean the one they've already listened to? - Yeah. (laughing) - And there we go. - I'm talking to this thing about that. - This is his life. - It just goes into here where he talks. (laughing) - But after that, he goes, it's actually the only parts I don't listen to are the ones I'm on. Seriously, yeah, I never download the ones I'm on. I was here. I don't need to listen to all of what we've said for two hours, then into an hour, you know what I mean? It's a good shape. - Yeah, I don't listen to the ones I was on 'cause I was here for it. That's kinda how I work. - Makes sense. - So who's your favorite tripper then? - So you never listen to it. Give something a shout out there. - Who's my favorite tripper? - Oh. - Obviously, apart from yourself. - Of course from me, well, you're a host, you know. I would say, probably Carl Torley. - Ah, yeah. - I know, I know, I'd say my favorite tripper would probably be, I'd say Andy. - Oh, yeah? - Just 'cause, I think, I just laugh my bollocks off 'cause I have the stuff he comes out where I would be thinking that same way myself, so. - Yeah. - Yeah. - It's lovely. - Touching. - But I love all of you guys. - Cheers, bro. - They made me pick one. - German words. - Love you, Andy. - Go for it. (laughing) - Flug cup ball. - Flug cup ball. - Yep. - Which means? - The diving header. - A diving header. - Yeah. - I heard it here first. - Yes. - Wonderful. - Right, let's get to it. - Tor speaking, tor speaking, tor speaking. - Tor speaking, tor speaking. - He's also edit that one out. (laughing) - Absolutely, it's just an understanding. Okay, let's go through a few of these. We got a whole lot of clop questions. Clop related questions. You know, best clop song. Ideal clop or in January. What do you think is clop's favorite breakfast cereal? I'm going to start with this one from Johnny Doyle, who says, "If you could have clop on the pod "and remove one regular, "I'm going to make this permanent." (laughing) Who would have paid it remove? (laughing) So, someone's getting a bullet. Who is it? - We have to remove a regular person. - Yeah. - Daimel. - Yeah, because he's just-- - He just doesn't come in. Anyway, so I'll be grand. He won't even know he's gone. - For me, 'cause I cancel every second week. (laughing) - If you come on the pod and say, "Oh, I'm 100% there for that day." Listen, mate, you're going to have to get someone from that pod tonight. (laughing) - You won't fucking believe this. Funny enough, I will. 'Cause every second week, it hurts. (laughing) - You're like the daddy of a lawyer, Larry. One day he's not going to be able to lie to you. (laughing) - Oh, that was my job that day. (laughing) - Are Steve McLaren's pubes ginger or grape? - Ginger or dreye? (laughing) - Steve McLaren's pubes. That's a question that came in from Rob. - Yeah, that's a prank question. - That's a prank question. - I'll be with that one, yeah. - Yeah, okay. - Feel free to tackle that. - I don't think just for men have done it downstairs product yet, so I'd say it's gray with a tint of strawberry blonde. - That's it. - That's disturbing us. - I think Shaves is boss. - Yeah, we had a child by bulk. - I don't think so. I don't think so. He's from-- - He's been over in Holland for a year. - If he doesn't share with that fucking island, off the top of his head, he's probably got the same island for his boss. - Oh, that's all, that's right, yeah. - Wouldn't it be brilliant if he actually did shave his pubes into the shape of his head? (laughing) - To shave Steve McLaren's face into a fucking boss? - Well, it wouldn't be on you, like-- (laughing) - His chin, and his chin being his sack and it's not, so, yeah, so I reckon, yeah? It looks like Steve McLaren's head. If you put him as jocks, it'd just look like you're talking to a mini Steve McLaren. (laughing) - If you do a handstand, you're basically talking to Steve McLaren again. (laughing) - Toughed in our-- - Oh, God, oh my God, okay, from that to-- (laughing) - Nick Wall is wondering, what's the worst situation in which you've ever used that'll do as an expression? I think it's off the back of the weekend match, and then we go, "Yeah, no, no, that'll do." He says his one is wiping your arse, you know? That'll do, it's not perfect. - Probably can't go after a wank. - He just-- (laughing) - That'll do, yeah. (laughing) - I probably got most of it. (laughing) - I'll hit your wake up and it's stuck to ya. (laughing) - That'll do, both of it's gone. I'm sure if someone sits there, they won't notice. (laughing) - It's my desk anyway. (laughing) - Shoo, shoo, shoo, shoo, man, never uses that pillow. (laughing) - Nah! (laughing) - The old angel hank. - The old angel hank. (laughing) - Oh, God, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on.
