But as it stands at the moment we've gone from, everyone, they've got a pain in their whole way. Rodgers, and I mean, back-counted for everyone. Even the most, Rodgers, stylish fans, like, I've gotten enough of it over the last few months to now. Everybody is unanimous ability. Yeah. Everybody believes in this manager. Yeah. There are a couple of voices in the world, and they're still talking about, you know, listen, that's not over-reg it. That's not getting too excited. Yeah, but that's great. I've been trying to agree right early. Yeah, if you can't be excited now, when are you going to do it? Exactly. Like, it can only be a good thing. Yeah. Everybody, you know, the players, you know, the club made the fans nail more than ever. Like, it's just gone terrible over the last one. We've had peeks, like, but we haven't had a thing where people are enjoying going to and fail for a, you know, a sustained period of time. Even the good season on the Rodgers was only kind of half a season, and the main run that really got nice again. So it has everyone gone again, and every month, every month, they go to clubs, sports, game, at home, and everything else. So it's brilliant. But as you say, there is people out there that are playing it down, but I think they just want to be, they just want different people. Well, they won't. They want to be different than two. That's just trying to be rational about the thing as well. I mean, when you do sit down and you take your, remove yourself from Twitter and, and the excitement of it, you know, like, it may not work out. Yeah. Yeah. It's not guaranteed with this, but it's a very optimistic. Well, it has to be. Which side did you find yourself on the film during the week? Were you super optimistic or were you kind of still a bit? Oh, it's a bit removed from the whole thing. For other reasons, but look at it. Yeah. You couldn't help but be excited about, you know, you know, look. Never in my wider streams that I think we get Jorgen Club to manage Liverpool and football club. Like, genuine, it's just, it's, it's a win, when you step back, but it's just like, you know, you always dream about getting a top manager. Yeah. Right? Yeah. And then to get one, it's so surreal. And I've never seen, now obviously you've got the advent of social media, you know, which I'll hives it up even more. But like, I've never seen any club go as mental for a manager in England now as we went for club. Do you know what I mean? Like, I was short of us having an open bus tour through Liverpool and I reckon the streets would have been crammed. I genuinely reckon the streets would have been crammed. Had they decided to bring them on an open bus tour? Yeah. Now, I'm working to be in the best idea to do. But like, if he was to, imagine if he was to win the league. What else? Like, it's straight away. He'd be like, he'd be like the Messiah. But we talked about, you know, when we're just coming in, we have to get away from the idea of the manager being a Messiah. And we, you know, Liverpool fans love a Messiah, messianic manager. Right? Let's be honest. We have put them up there. We've put the video up there. The life of Brian. Right? Brian's being a ball boy and he can't come out. Right? So, that's what it was like. Do the pictures of them? There he is in the hotel there. Stand up. I'll have a shot with people. Yeah, but it's funny. One of the pieces I wrote during the week. Oh, no, the Holy God. Yeah. Yeah. How should we fuck off? Yeah. But one of the pieces I wrote was actually taking the piss out of that idea that like, you know, we need a Messiah. We don't. It's just what fans want is someone that they can get excited about again. Someone's going to sort of have some sort of unifying effect in the club. And already he has. Absolutely. Absolutely. And that's what I'm saying. Even how do we fuck off? It was in response to him himself saying, I'm fucking, you know, this is, I'm not special. Yeah. Does anyone here think I can do Wonder? No. Yeah. Exactly right? That's a great line. Well, January, that's what it is. But it literally is every Liverpool fan, yes, you aren't going to do Wonder. If he Twitter says, I'm going to win the league. Every Liverpool fan, yes, you are going to win the league. And we think it's going to win the league. Yeah. The whole thing. It went from none of us believe in it was possible to, you know, kind of manager of the club. We all would have thought that him or he would sit here personally if he comes to England. And then all of a sudden, there was rumors and like people are still attacked. Fuck off. That's, that's, that's not going to happen today. Oh, hang on a minute. This is, this is happening. And then of course you're, you're just praying that be such a Liverpool thing for it to happen that a fall is true last minute. He's appointed. I mean, it's just, it's just incredible. Like, you know what I mean? And we all got lost. And it was a bit like winning the league in the sense that there was tee shorts to fall on day, bring it out. His press conference and his interview, like it was flawless. I've added one. I've added one. I've added two. Like, I couldn't possibly have went any better for him. I couldn't have went any better for, for the media. Yeah. First scoid, a whole box office thing. I mean, they are going to get serious mileage over. It's just working for everyone, the fans as well. And also for FSG, from a corporate point of view, they've now got a stance that needs to be filled with like very rich people that are going to pay the money to have these boxes. And everything else. And for their days. And this is an attraction for them. Yeah. This is an attraction, your manager, to just stand there and watch how he behaves on the sideline and how funny he is, like, and how into the game he is. It's just, it's just perfect. Yeah. The only thing that has to work now is the bit on the full bar pitch. Yeah. Yeah. When Paul Brennan heads into town on a tourism, it's announced that he's going to be manager. To meet up with Kevin Kanskely, Lee Schoebag, Mahadi and Vanschen and Genoa. Don't even ask me how that fucker was in Dolan, like, do you know what I mean? It had to be today, which. That happened. That happened. He went to old out of the A or something. Yeah. Yeah. Over for whatever it was. That meeting of mine's actually. That, like, basically Twitter met. And towards the night. Really? Yeah. LFC Twitter met and towards the night. All the factions met. It's Twitter heavyweight. Yeah. Twitter heavyweight. All met up. Gift central. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Paul can shame Brennan to death over. But if it, if it, if it, like, basically, you know. Paul Brennan went into town on the pace to celebrate. On the back of that list. That's, that's, that's, you do that if we, if you would. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Like, to be enthralled. He had us all on the edge of our seat. We were all, what times the press conference? I forced the interview. Everyone was sitting up waiting at eight o'clock in the morning. I know. One, did they hear what the man had to say. That's what I want to get into. Because it would be very silly enough to refer to Andy. You've mentioned that you've mentioned as well. And you've just talked about that, right? Like the actual words from the man himself. The two interviews, the LFC one, LCTV one, and then the press are proper. I mean, people had so much to hang their hat on. Now, it maybe got a little bit cringy in terms of how much people are hanging on to everything. But I, I think he played a storm and then you know what's interesting. I used that exact phrase about Brennan Rogers when he came first. Because he did seem to get it and he did seem to say the right things. Yeah. But there's an extra layer here, isn't there? Yeah. Some sort of self-awareness. Well, I think a club is making it his own. Whereas Rogers, like, was so careful to fit into the profile of this Liverpool image. Yeah. Yeah. Clap just seems to be him and it's natural. He's like, even before he said, like, on the normal one. Like, this fucking guy is so organic here, like, it's just, it's just brilliant. Yeah. Like, everything is just flowing out. And I love the bit where, like, you know, you take a little bit of it over yourself. Someone was clicking the camera while there was a girl joining us. She was trying to speak. And he basically shot your man down straight away. Yeah. So all of a sudden, he's taking control of these press things. Whereas it really felt like on a Rogers time that the press kind of controlled him. Like, they kept them there for as long as they needed them and got them to say everything they needed them to say. Whereas this fellow now is just in charge. Yeah. Yeah. That's the view. It doesn't look like he's, he's thinking about answers, which I've, or he found Rogers to be doing. You know what I'm trying to say? That's the word I use, the organics. Yeah. Just some. Yeah. He just, his interview with Claire and LFC TV as well. He was just, it just looked like he was sitting with his mates. He just sitting there. Yeah. And he was so relaxed in the chair. And everything just flowed out. And every answer. It was amazing. There was no talk involved in it. Yeah. It was totally different. So it's like, oh, he watched that interview. Someone had it up on one of the so-heats there. Well, it was a 20-odd minute long. Yeah. 2030. And it was really giddy like, you know, I was like, he's a fucking messer like, you know. Yeah. He seems to be a messer. Yeah. When it was in the press conference, this is business. Yeah. He was totally different. Still a bit of humor, but. Yeah. But he was, he was totally way more focused. The other thing was a bit of a nasal, like sitting there in a hotel room. Yeah. Like, you know, with the stupid fucking dummies in the back row. Black tie with the black sheets and all, like, oh, man, LFC TV. He said, what are you looking at this dude? Yeah. Yeah. That boy is gonna fuck off. Yeah. But I actually, I actually liked that one. I enjoyed that one more because he was even like, so relaxed. He came across. He's a bit of a dark, like, you know, that thing I want you to be. And got moved from Devro to Believer. And he does a little point and he's a little kind of shitty kind of gigger. Like, he's a gigger. He's having a crack. Yeah. Yeah. I thought it was tremendous. His laughs in the middle of nowhere as well. Yeah. Like, he just, like, he might be something stupid, like, you know. Oh, yeah. Yeah. But it's just tickles. Yeah. Well, we think, I mean, like, we got a few photos. Yeah. But like, like, the background looked like he was sitting down there, living up here. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But anyway, he's out there and I see him with a point to Stella. Stella. Yeah. I hear I was thinking. In the morning, he is going to wake up with a tumor of a hangover. His head will be hanging off. Hanging off. And he's going to go, oh my God, the bear in this city is the bear in England. There's crap. I can't even have ten points. I'm, like, not feeling like we're going to die. I was thinking, he's just going to go head off home in the morning. No, no, no. What's going on? You know, Jeremy, you can drink, like, a lunatic. And he'll be grand the next day. Can you feel? Yeah. I love the point. You've got seriously quite a bit of that. This is hard. The bear is much harder than I do. It's brilliantly much. Still, I go for a bang and hang on. Yeah. Yeah. String heart attacks. Yeah. Well. Look, we move away from the pressers and the publicity and all the rest of it because, like, we'll keep coming back to that, I suppose, but what do we see or what we expect in this city? You talked earlier on about how everyone has their own version of what definitely is going to happen under a club. But realistically, what can we expect that's different? Okay. Well, like, I'm not going to try and flag it. No, I'm not going to try and flag it and say, "Watch Club under Zay." Years at May, May, as they even say, points, points. And then, you know, like, my, my exposure to the club was the Champions League. Champions League. That's it. Well, Johnny German football, so I can't even say what is week to week kind of team look like and how he operated in the media, because they don't understand German, you know, so, like, I don't know. I'm so excited to learn more about that. And I think even the biggest bloggers out there, like, you know, there's 19% of Liverpool fans are going to learn more than they ever knew about them over the next few months. Yeah. Because the exposure we're going to have till now, you're going to be watching them every week on the side, three or four interviews. There's a match of the day, one of the sky, one of the ones you're going to see. They might be with the echo and the press conferences and everything else. We're going to learn so much more about it. So I'm excited about that. I'm excited to actually find out who he actually is. But, I mean, the people, you know who to listen to, you know, who has an educated opinion. Yeah. And you know what they're saying is true. So, what can we expect? We're going to expect a really good pedigree of football. Exciting football. And he's, you know, more of an honest approach to the game. I think if he says he's going to do something, he's going to try and do it. Yeah. In terms of utilization of resources, the staff that he has at his disposal, at least until Christmas, January time. Right. Is there anything you'd like to see happening there that you think a new manager might be able to change or bring a bit of a difference? No. Well, I think you made it clear, didn't you? I can't remember the exact sentence, but along the lines of basically you'll walk out from me and your friend, basically. Yeah. He says good to be my friend. So, I mean, I don't see it as being any different to, you know, when you go into a new job and you have one boss, it's all right. You're the boss of a bit of a ball buster. You start to turn on when the ball buster is around. You'll presume the lads are there. Anyone that wasn't given 100% soon, fucking will or else they'll be gated. And in regards to team selections, well, I'm sure he's going to go in with a sort of open book almost. You might have an idea how he wants to play, but I'm hoping we won't go down the road of fucking square pegs and mound holes, which live up hill I've been doing for years. And he still walks out whether it be from training off one or two games that he's not up to scratch. He's not up to scratch. And it doesn't throw you drag on where he says, well, you can make this fella something there. Us as fans have been watching a very long time already know they can't be, you know? It was nice to hear him not managing expectations from the start and saying, we've got good players here. We've got, you know, good keepers, good defenders. You know, I think the only area he seemed to be a bit quizzical about was wide men. But even then, he was positive all the way, but the actual staff at his disposal. Yeah. Which is nice to see. He's not making excuses already. Yeah. Well, I don't think he could come in the armos and slay to me. He started, like, giving the armos, saying, right, he is goalads. So I'm coming in with this without any preconceptions on how good or shit or anything I've read about just once it's all to sort of, we go again almost to say that. You know what I mean? Well, he could have said, look, it's going to take time. It's going to be, you know. Well, I don't know, maybe he has big counties. And he started, he knows his own abilities. And he has fucking fate in what he can do himself, you know. Well, he's put his balls in the block. And he's talked about tight looting for years. Yeah. He was pushed into that corner. And he was more, you know, hopefully was. Yeah. It's the most important question. Excellent. Yeah. Yeah. The way we say about the Corinth Paris now there, look, we don't really know who's going to call it. And he was not going to call it. Yeah. Like, one thing of Roger's term is, we didn't sign anyone that wasn't going to maximize a Liverpool. He bought so many players that Liverpool was the peak possibility for transfer for them. Yeah. Yeah. You know, people will argue that for me, you know, had different options. Miller had a better option at City. Now, what I'm talking about is we never got a player that could have went to Raya Alabar, so that was good enough to play for this when they came. Now, we've developed players, Loi Coutinho, possibly called me one of the bigger things. But we never, we never, we were just so in the players that this was the max. So now these toilet players are going to really fail the pressure to come up to a different level where they would have never imagined. Yeah. You know what I mean? Because Liverpool was the max on the Rogers. Yeah. Now, this is a fella who's one toils. He's been to a Champions League final and played Champions League football pretty much every season. And now they're going to have to come up to that standard. So we'll see very quickly, he was going to be able to carry the way. And as he was saying, which I thought was a great analogy as the ten kilogram looks like. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So we'll see. You'll see players like, like a harsh race. Some players just won't be able to keep falling back and back. Yeah. And they'll be replaced. It's not going to be as simple as, "Oh, look at Scarlett. He doesn't fit into this thing." Scarlett could adapt. You know, he just don't know. We don't know. Like, Moreno, who looks like a toilet player who will get forward from. He might fall out of the way, so we just don't know. Yeah. Some of the players that we do have on the books. I think, for me, no, have been previously linked to a club. Somebody tried to tell me to take it as well. Yeah. So, I mean, that's obviously a plus. But in terms of anyone else, you think you might actually get a new lease of life? Um, Enrique. [LAUGHTER] I'll ask you a serious question. You've been dashing there for the last 20 minutes, and you come in with that. I was walking on a new feature for you. [LAUGHTER] Look, it's hard to tell. You know, I keep sort of referencing mentally to his Dartmouth soil and how they played, and where Arab players would likely fit into that type of system. But there's no guarantees. I know we get on to what we're talking about, Tottenham, and how we think he's going to line up. You know, what we think is going to do there. But I'd imagine someone like, you know, Lovern will have a fresh guy with this in terms of what's there. The way he likes to defend is quite high up. Like, Meg's is going to have to really adapt to the game. He's going to have to press much higher in his box to where he is. But Lovern, you know, got slaughtered for wanting to play up around the halfway line. Saka wants to play up there as well. And you just think they're naturally position-wise. I'm not saying ability-wise, but position-wise, they will relish the idea of the team. Being much higher up the pitch. And we'll see benefits from it similarly. Emory Channel will probably get the opportunity that we've been crying out the same get as well. I'd imagine that will come fairly quickly. You know, for me, the real interesting one is we'll see now how Firmino adapts in this team. Because he knows how to play him. Straight off, he knows it's a player he would have, I'd imagine he would have wanted to sign. I'd have to start a player he would have wanted to sign. And storage. For me, I think, be straight with you, right? When I look at storage, I see so much likeness to the way Lovern Dowski plays in terms of, you know, he's fast. He has a great eye for a goal. He's strong when he needs to be strong. He can do different things. And I just think the club is the type of manager who will know how to maximize Daniel's storage. And if you can maximize Daniel's storage, if he gets a decent run this year and he's not, you know, constantly injured, whatever. And you have a manager who really knows how to maximize the best out of Daniel's storage. Fucking hell. It could blow the league wide apart in terms of, you know, goal of people's garden goals. And on a broader scale, as a guy who's watched Darkman and watched club's teams more than, say, the rest of us in a room here. You know, can we expect to see something different in terms of shape from the 4-2-3-1 that we've been kind of flick the world in 3-5-2-1? Oh, look, we're going to see a different style of play, but, you know, from it, I'm, as I said, there's a bit of reality in me that I don't expect to see the changes happen overnight. I think it's going to take a few weeks. You know, he's going to have players going back off international break. He's not going to be able to imbue his methods in the space of 3 days before they're not going to be-- They're not going to be gig-impressing within 2 days. Yeah, you know, there's going to be conditions and all that needs to go in there. And it's not going to happen overnight. So we need to sort of manage our expectations as to what we expect from the 4-2 games. And there are tough games that he has coming up ahead of him, you know? But all told, the one thing that stands out for me and he touched on is the authority he's brought into the role already. The absolute 100%. There is no question who the boss is. Like, the committee team, he killed us right away. He says, "You need people to help you so in place." You know what I mean? He just-- he's put a stamp on who he is and what he believes. And straight away, that's-- he is the biggest personality in the club. And I didn't feel that Brendan Rodgers was the biggest personality in the club. No, he was even after Rodgers, all right, I'm sure he left. Even after Gerard left, and we knew Gerard was gone, he was-- He never got the impression that he was the biggest personality there. And Jurgen Klopp is, by far, the biggest personality in that club. And that's the way it needs-- for me, like, if you look at Arsenal, right, you've had great players, but it's Vengar's team. You know, when Ferguson was at, you know, it was Ferguson's team. When Shankly was at Liverpool, it was Shankly's team. Great players came and went, but it was always Shankly's team. You know, it was Paisley's team. Even it was Kenny's team. It was Kenny's team. In the '80s, you know? The thing-- the thing that, you know, a 20-year-old kid in Sterling went from sort of being put down in that pre-season, a bill being on the next line back, actually holding the manager up around some-- Yeah, actually, like, getting a bit bigger, I don't know. Mm-hmm. But that would have been put down by-- I don't think Benitez, I think it would have just-- Jettison, we might have got 50 million from him, but he probably would have got rid of him a season beforehand, purely just to stamp that authority on the-- you know, it comes down to really hard decisions. No, I think, Phil, I just think the player himself wouldn't have pulled it up to that manager. I think he would have-- I think Sterling would have been kept way more in check by someone like-- Kenny, or Rafa. Yeah, I'm caught up. Look, to be honest, and that's not-- that's not, you know, slagging off Brendan Rodgers. I'm not-- that's not me. I just feel that there's a level-- there's an air of authority about that nobody has carried at the club since Rafa Benitez was there. Mm-hmm. And it's similar to the great managers of the past, and it's similar to the big managers in the game. And we become instantly, instantly more attractive to other players. Because you talked to anyone, we've got-- everyone's got friends who live abroad or from different countries or whatever. And an awful lot of them who are into the football, but don't pay much attention to English football, hadn't a breeze who Brendan Rodgers was. You know, outside of England, they didn't have a breeze who Brendan Rodgers was. Yeah. Yeah, everyone knows who your club is. If you've got YouTube, you know. Yeah, and an opponent. But that's also a massive draw for players. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. Every football fan in the world will watch that music very well. And they'll all be very aware of the Dartmouth team. Yeah, and he's the most valuable character, which is interesting. Despite all the incredible players, he's the one who stood out. What about that, Ray, about being attractive to potential signings, and his name carrying the more weight? And the potential that has for us. I mean, are we going to move in definitely into another level of ability with players? Well, you think it's sort of a street world. Yeah. You know what I mean? So if you can do it now, I don't want to say it's powerful. I'll never be here with the club, because hopefully you'll go on and be amazed in front of us and win trophies. But at the minute, the world is talking about and being here. It's not just us. Everybody's talking about it. We're seeing them interviewing hominals, all ex players. They had their own things. They were an international champion. Everybody was talking about Cloppa Liverpool. See, you know that sportsman from dad to cricket to you name it. It's not like it's talking about. So it's huge. So if that can't be a drag, and let's face it, we hate saying it, but the club still is a big club. You know, it's history. Everything about us. We're still a big club. We might like when we're biting them and all the time. We're my fucking shit and we're dancing with that. But the bottom line is we are a big club and add him, put him as the cherry on top. And I think it does make us a bit more appealing to some of the stars we taught wherever I reached before. Yeah. And it will be the test, the acid test of what exactly had been going on. In terms of recruitment, all that. Because the simplicity of Phil referred to it there in which he put it down. He said, basically, he said forced the last word. He said forced the last word. No, whatever happens to him. He was basically saying, I'll pick a player. You go off and sort it out his way. He just said, watch this. I'm playing them. And I'll turn down and say, yes, I know. At the end of the night. Yeah. You know. He's so sweet. Yeah. But he's brought in his own man. And craft the arts. Yeah. Like, you know, that's been his, he's been his, his, his, his skeleton, honcho. Since the rap points. Him, Boobach and, and, and him and Boobach are his two trusted. So, overall, it was arc playing just the negotiations of these players. Yeah. No, like, in terms of like, he, he, he won't necessarily go to see the player. He'll send your man to see the player. Right. Or your man will be told. And then they, they'll bring it to the transfer committee. You know, in, in, in, in Dortmund, they would have gone to Zork and said, look at this. We've identified him. Yeah. Zork maybe in, you know, I've, I've seen somebody else and would go to grab here and say, look, we'll have a look at him and see if he fits the profile that you're looking for. Yeah. But again, it's, it's, it's a much more fit, much more with the way FSG wants, clearly wants to operate the, the way transfers are done with the club. And I think you'll see an awful lot more harmony with, and hopefully, hopefully, hopefully, it kills the transfer committee, argument. Yes. That's right. Yeah. Well, look, you know, you know, for all this lagging that people give a man about how he talks about football, it's not always spun on, but there, there was no one better this week talking about club than, than did he, man, I thought he was brilliant. At one point he made a bill to transfer committee. It's, it's a dubious name, like, transfer committee. It's, it was a bad name to Carla. It's just, it's a structure that exists throughout World Football, European football. People decide who comes in in our club, Liverpool, Carla, a committee. And it just, it just made it look more or less than it actually is. But it's no different to how all their clubs are operating. They just don't call it a transfer committee. Yeah. The problem was as well, like, when Brendan came in first, he made himself a hostage of fortune by saying, I don't work with the director of football. And so then everything after that is colored by that, and people don't know who is responsible for what? And now it's just wonderfully simple from the start. Yeah. So that should, that should be, that should be a, a bonus. What I said to do, like, almost a trust level, I don't know, I feel you'd be better placed at George, but how, how many hits a Mrs. Clopp has had along the lines? And, you know, Roger's coming from basically, let's face it, nowhere, almost, from, you know, like, I literally had one interview from Brendan Rodgers before he became Liverpool manager. It was one of theirs that come to manage Swansea. You know what I mean? I never did so. So now there was almost probably a mistrusting, there's no way we're letting him go and pick and show us, you know, we don't know what he can do with money. We don't know if he can make players X, Y or Z, where it was this fellas coming in and saying, oh, he trusts this guy, I don't know what he's talking about. Yeah. But I think like what, what will happen on a club is he'd be very specific about what he needs. He'll tell them, like, there's no point in them, like, giving them a list of players that he won't fit into what he wants to do. Yeah. And I think he's going to be very definite about what he wants to do. He seems like that. So at least he's going to say to them, come back to me with all these type of players. And then between him and the guy, I don't know what her name is. Cravage show, was it? Craviards. Craviards. He's going to deal with a bit of skeleton. And between a lot of them, if it works properly, it's, it's perfect. It just doesn't work when, when, when Brandon Rogers is pulling them away and they're pulling hard at the other way. Exactly. It makes it, it sounds like it's skill, it's so childish, it's, like, how can a manager that wants to play a certain way, let someone else pick a player that mightn't fit that, it just, it doesn't make sense. And any level that doesn't make sense? No. And the reality of it was only starting to appear as it was dying. Yeah, but it's, it's, it's, it's an easy thing for us all to jump on in terms of, like, if something's going wrong or you're looking for something but wrong, but it was so wrong. It was wrong. It was wrong. Did they get the club that way? We're not banging all these out. Rogers? No, no. They got the club. What about you? It was silly. It was silly to think for a start that we knew. Well, it was quite clear, like, okay, some of them might be a bit speculation, but it just seemed to be that we knew exactly who was the committee science and who was the Rogers science. And it's that's bad to know that sort of stuff, like, I know with enough leaks in the club and everything else, but that's bad to know that it was so down the middle. Now, like, I don't know, surely to God when, like, Rogers agreed with some more than others, like, you know, but it did seem like he did month storage, like, you know, and he didn't want certain players. Well, apparently, Timmy's got two games to prove himself with Fellows. I think we could see Brandon back in the in the saddle. Yeah. Listen, how I'd nearly rather him. I think he needs needs to get his head together. Made a lot of mistakes over the last while. And, you know, I'd rather sort of see him sit out the rest of the season and just start off. Don't be too sympathetic now. We sitting on a song bed and my band is seven and a half million in his back pocket. I think, I think his time at Liverpool came to where he, he's not a bad man and journey, probably do well. But I genuinely don't think we'd rather have enough time on crap out and about in Liverpool because, like, let's be honest about it. It's the whole thing. Like, I haven't seen that sort of closeness to the fans since Rafa went for an ill walk before Istanbul, like, you know what I mean, that was in, that was in playing Liverpool's season. Yeah, well, sorry, Liverpool. But look, in the run to Istanbul. We just didn't watch any, you know what you came, wasn't he? They were in the pool. They were in the pool. They were like, "I don't know if I know you before." You know what I mean? You know what I mean, they were beaten. Yeah. It was all about that game. Actually, I didn't see Rafa out the night before. We already got there in the morning. Off the game. That tingly veiled on the grave father. That was a better father. Don't tell you I was in Istanbul. Hey! I'm sorry. Where are you, Sin? It's out of Milan fans. It's out of Milan fans. It's out of Milan fans. Did you get me off the open to the stand on the left? No, it was right, it was about 30 rounds from the front, and right in the way of the penalty spot where all six girls were scored and the penalty. In the way of the round fans of the whole team. That was the Milan end here. So, pushing over into the main stand, it was the last row of seats, at the four set of steps, if you know what I mean. So, the core, one set of steps in Milan, and it was really at the... Shame you're not in the hard time, will you? I was in the hard time. But the left hand corner... If you were looking at the pitch, the left hand corner... 1,200 clear to him is fucking balling. We can tell you we're all in the hard time. Fuck it, hell! Credit Union over this bollocks! No, I knew we went to the whole partarily, because we were all in the Milan end. They moved over to the left hand corner. So, it was just a pocket of Liverpool fans. And then the show had to come over and put everyone up for both. We were just basically standing in with people. So, you were on... Liverpool fans would have been to your left. Yeah. Like, I was in line with the... For most of the game. At the start of the game, we were in the Milan end and then we were moved up. And then I was in line with the box. We're on a parallel cross. Yeah, for your kick. Yeah, I know. Was it? Yeah, you know where I was, I was there. No. I'm hiding behind me, coach. That's where I was. Yeah. I can't compare these Milan stories. Well, then he was a big Liverpool fan. And we had such different experiences again. Oh, of course. So, he said, "He gone." He was like, "I don't know. I don't know. He was just gone. I was now fucking. I was now stopping me." But he was there. He went down to one of the lads, guys. He was not really mad into football. And his mat was there. And all are mates. And they won for the watch coronation street. And he was sitting there. And I wouldn't say it. The match wasn't coming on. They were like, "I need to put coronation in." And he was like, "No." And he was like, "You just couldn't believe what was happening." The heart. Yeah. That's how he watched it. And then they were treating him down in the cars. They were like, "Now can we put on the soaps?" "Now can we get on the show?" And he didn't even see the halftime analysis and all that. Like, you know, it was just like the experience with sour milk from what? From what you were. Yeah, yeah. Holy shit. Phil, do you think that's significant? Do you think it was almost a deliberate ploy for a club to be out in the town like that? No, I think you just enjoy this. Go and have a little bit of crack. It does some money. Well, he was staying in the hotel in town. Yeah. So, are you? Probably tasks. You're not the fan. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Slip out the door and have a point or whatever. What's the problem? It really felt like he had no idea how big it was. How big it did. Like, I think it took a little bit of surprise. I think he told a baseball cap on head. It would just have a few. Swifties there. And head back to the hotel. Next of all, lynched, lynched. But like, you know, with the amount of clubs that were going around Liverpool at the weekend, he probably would have got away with it. Yeah. You know what I mean? He was bound to turn up one or two pictures. But the best one was when he was buying an Audi except he wasn't in the contrary. Yeah. He did see the actual full-mount picture in the fact that it was. No, no, no, no. You know what? Even a picture that was... Oh, geez. Even a picture that wasn't. Like, it was up against and he couldn't even say him didn't look like him. It didn't look a picture. No way it was having that. Realistic expectations, Ray, in terms of what we have here now versus your true, the roof, kind of, we're going to win the league expectations. I was going to look at this when we talked about the preview of the Tottenham game. But you know what? So that we're talking about club now. Do you think we have a real chance now with a bit of momentum from this guy of doing something special? Or would you just like to see us consolidate? Or what's realistic for you? I'm going to get caught up and around, man. So I see us. Right. I'm hoping for a trophy. And I can see us getting top of the league as well. It opened this year. Like, as bad as we've been saying, we were enough to fire our points, boys. And we're all saying from the start of the pause, from Saturday season, that the squad I'm paid by looks decent. And maybe this is the... He's the jail. He's going to bond it. He's going to get the best. What we all think is possible there with this squad. So I'm really hopeful. Really hopeful. In terms of... Hopefully in terms of top four. Well, yeah. Yeah. Okay. Have you a higher expectations than top four? Realistically no. Okay. As I said, there's going to be a bedding period. And he has very tough games ahead of him. Especially in the next one. Yeah. Yeah. In the next one, it's six or seven games. Gets off to a good start against bores and, you know, the points can roll and all of a sudden, we're sitting very well at Christmas time. Look, all we want to do, it's the same as when Rogers talks over, you just want to see the signs of where we're going to be this time next year. See a plan. Yeah. See a real plan in place. A real game plan. See that all come into fruition. It's going to take four or five games. And, you know what? I'm happy to fucking see this pan out. And I think we'll be very close to top four, regardless this season. I think it was a brave decision. I think it was the right decision. I think there's a strong argument that you should have done at the summer. But if they were waiting for a club to be ready to come back, then it was the right decision. And it was, in the end, it was ruthless. And, you know, if this reaps the rewards that are possibly called, it could be seen as a huge, huge moment in Liverpool's history. And a likelihood then, if you're... Do you think we'll be there, thereabouts, or would you actually go? There are thereabouts. But I think we'll be in the Europa League. I think club isn't imbued in the English ridiculousness around the Europa League. Not being important. Yeah. And I think he's going to see... Oh, he wanted to get us into the Champions League. He sees two opportunities to get into the Champions League, right? Or to finish top four, or win the League. No, you can win the League and win a trophy. And he'll also be looking to the Europa League and say, hang on a second. If we win this, or win a trophy, and I get the club into the Champions League, regardless of where I finish in the League. And to do that, like, to do that will be simply amazing. It would stamp such authority. It would back up the authority that we're talking about. It would stamp him indelibly into the club's history. And it would be the European part. And again, it's the calling card of Liverpool. We win European trophies. That's why we've always been in the club that we are. Do you think that something said from upstairs at a club like Liverpool, if someone comes in from another country, like a four-time in England, that actually tells them, like, right, this is how we usually prioritize things in regards trophies? Well, there'll be some... No, but you know what I'm making. Do you know what I'm trying to say? Look, he's coming in and one of his terms out and says, "Yeah, we want to put our full strength teams in the League Cup." I don't know, he gets to do. He gets to make us mind up on that. Look, he's a bit of a Liverpool's apart. You know, he said he's watched him out for the years. Like, he got a little bit of a buzzer. You know, I'm touching the plaque and the way down, and he's still watching the cup. Like, it's not just a pretendie. It's not just like, "Oh, it's a boyhood." He's not trying to learn that he's a big supporter. He used to play the PlayStation. He admirers to tell. He doesn't mind a club. He knows what Liverpool is. He's a football fan. Like, he's watched hundreds and thousands. He's the right age, too. Yeah, he knows all about it. So, he knows that Europe is very important to this football club. Yeah. And it becomes... The Europa League now becomes exciting. For a competition that just, like, it's just so doubt-like. Like, now it's great. It's more club. Yeah, it's... That's brilliant, isn't it? Yeah, that's exciting. Yeah, it's exciting. Like, we had, say, on there a couple of weeks ago, and it was maybe four tells and empty seats. That place, against Ruben Gonzalez, is going to be rockin'. Yeah, absolutely. It's going to be rockin'. Absolutely. You don't think he won't be relishing the idea of potentially facing Borussia Dortmund in one of the knockout rounds. Yeah, of course. And going back to the Signouli doing a perk, I was on the West Ballon Stallion, and going back and fucking, you know, you're in clubs Liverpool, going to Dortmund. You see what Dortmund did? To wish them all the best. They did a mock-up. They did a Photoshop, Tingu Jig, and wished them all the best at the Tingu. You know what I mean? You know, there's a huge amount of love, both from points, and from Dortmund. And you know what makes me laugh, right? You have everybody in who's a big expert in club-like. Now, I'm talking to people who are going on about this fellow, as if they're non-personally right. They're talking about us riding, that was Paris. That's so stupid. You know, for anybody to think, if they know a single thing about this manager, he's loyal, he's a lawyer bloke, and he's not going to rate Dortmund. He's not going to do that. He put that down himself today. He said he had no intentions of that. And he didn't even need to say it, and he, you know, built a fellow. He's full of integrity. He's not going to do that. And I've seen the chairman of Dortmund as well, and just speaking so highly of them, you know. Do you think Kenny Daggles is going to leave Liverpool, and then just start taking a piss? Like a piss. Not a chance. But even Bayern Munich fellows, like, you know, Beck and Barr, and lots of people from Munich, it's wishing them the best. That's incredible. These are the people that he took titles off. Like, there's just such good will towards it. And now we've got that working for us. So, okay, you reckon we're going to win the Europa League? Andy, what's our realistic host? Yeah, we'll look at it. It's, it's, it's... I can't predict, like, you know, we can only go on and build hogs. Managers come into the Premier League and torn teams around. Even ship managers. Yeah. Told the teams around, and the following season, they're sacked. That can happen. Or else, like, you know, he sees the season as a bit of a transition, and it's more important that he gets teams right than winning games. Yeah. So, we can't really predict how he's going to prioritize things, but we can see a big response. Like, we're on the quest of a way of excitement now at the moment. Going into some very tough fixtures through October and into November. This, this excitement will take us through these games. Pick up a few points. We can be very easily back in this as in two points per game corner ratio. Back in at where we're knocking on the door again. Yes. And then she looks back. Yes. You know. I'll actually... Have you got the breaking points? No. I've no figures. Because I'll only make it this. But I did look at, I did look at how we, how we got his points when he won the league for Dortmund. Okay. And how we got second place over there. It wasn't just in taking advantage of other teams slipping up. Like, and I don't like to discredit Benite's book. When he won the league for Valencia, it was like a very low point. You know, very low points. Like, in Real and Bars were just terrible. The year, one of the years that he won the league. Like, you know, they only play Tour de... Tour de... Tour de... Tour de... Tour de... Games there. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But like, if you converted to how many guys, like, you know, it was open to 90 points. Like, you know what I mean? Which is very impressive. So, if he gets the same, like, points per game. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But if he was to reproduce his points per game ratio as he did it armed, he's still getting Champions League football in England. It's not like... It's not like... Oh, I love Dan's stuff. I love Dan's work. Yeah. That's his feet. He's feet down the unknown spot. It started the wrong way. I know. He never says anything before. He's just... He's just sitting there. I love fucking tablet. Walking on it. Just passing it. Have a look at that Andy. Have a look at that. A little nudge. A little nudge. Have a look at that. Yeah. Baby watch. I don't even know what it is I'm having. Someday we get down to our rated fucking soul toilet thing that you get home for, um, for, for visually impaired people. Ah, for sure. Dan Roberts hands Andy. I... I pat. Yeah. Dan points at the light. Yeah. So... No, but like, um... I'm gonna have to get lost now because you're out. You... Dan has that effect. What you're saying is, even in the seasons he didn't win the league, his points tally with Dortmund was... Yeah, it's... Yeah, it's... It's... What he was... What he was doing for Dortmund is worthy of what we need to kind of do in the league. To get into... As in he's picking up two points, two points, whatever points per game. Okay. You know, we... We know that you don't really get Champ Zigg full-balling and we're getting 72 points plus. Yeah. Well, I can see him getting that. Dan, that all depends what happens with Chelsea, City, Arsenal, and you know it. Where they have 72 points, you know, and it can be the best of the all-star rounds. It's a great opportunity. You know it are slipping up here and there. City are even... They lost two on the balance then, you know, they won the next game. Chelsea are awful. Arsenal aren't... Everyone thought Arsenal was going to win the league, so it's wide open. The possibilities are endless. Meanwhile, Spurs are very much Spurs right, and we've got them next. The first game in the Premier League of Claps reign. How vital do you think it is in the context of what we were talking there that we actually get to win, or is the performance a more important thing? Yeah, I think like what Phil said earlier, you just want to see so inset even in the short field days that there's something a little bit different there, a bit quicker to the ball, the transition is that little bit quicker, a bit more bite and tackle. It's just a few little improvements, but it's just like us. So I think we could go there and stuff, Spurs, I watched them there and beat City there, but it's wide open up Hill Street now. We can nearly see the headlines already, Clap and Claps Cup, and yeah, I can see it already. I think we're going to beat them. You're right going up there, yeah. And on that thing, you know, is a win absolutely vital, you know? Or if it could be stomach, maybe not a win if we saw what Ray's talking about there. If we saw some sort of shape from... I can't actually call it stomach because that's what we're loyal against fans, like we go out and we got beat, say, we'd be looking at the positives, Clap has brought to a game that we've just got beaten and we're unlucky here, we're unlucky there. The last thing we want now is get beaten and it was just more of the same. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. I can't imagine it is. I think if they get up the level of playing, I mean, the players now, every player now go down the belt of club. Like, you know, anyone in the players. So even the new manager kick, you're going to have a performance. We haven't felt much trouble beating them there, you know, last three or five games. We're warning you dismiss the best players there. No, no, well, no, I don't mean to say something like that because there's every possibility we get beaten. But I'm confident that we're out with enough there and response that this, like, look at those guys mad a bit. Imagine being meeting this fella and training them now for the next week. Players are going to be buzzing. They're going to nobody. You can see. You can see already, like, you know, I would like to see more players, maybe just pay a bit more respect to Rogers and say, look, you know, he's a decent fella and he tried his best on whatever else. Maybe that'll happen. Maybe that'll happen. Well, the responses are like, as if he never even existed, you know, it's like all his club going, you know, we're all excited, like, and, you know, they don't have to be too noise to say. People call him Daniel Borta. I mean, I think he was calling Mark. I think he was calling Mark. He was calling Mark as he was talking to someone and they were buzzing the bell clap, like, you know, so there, there was bad, like, you know, football players are very like football fans. Yeah. Yeah. In terms of being fake and I know. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So just, just to round out there, because I'm interested in taking that Kenny when he took over. I think it was, went to, went to old Trafford and we got beat with a cup game. But it's his first game back and nobody gave a fuck because Kenny was there and there was a few signs to something. Do you think has club got that little bit of elbow room or do we actually need as a fan base to see something that we can hang out there? Um, no, like, like, like the euphoria, great Kenny coming back as caretaker manager. It's the same. Do you know what I mean? I mean, I think the third is we're going to be the light that we have, you're working club. And if we see signs of what, and I'm not talking, you're not going to get 90 minutes of the perfect club game, not for a good while, right? But like, if we can see signs, the things of, as race, like, I don't repeat it, but if you can see signs, the things happen differently, we're going to be like, yeah, that no, that's something that we probably see developed, you know, this, and that ultimately, they're not bad player. Like, I said it last week, it's the, it's the, it's the best squad I've seen at the club since Rafa Benita is race. So it isn't like he's starting at the, at the base that, that Roger's had to start with, with the likes of fucking Joe Cole and him, and you can't say that without giving the previous manager, due to credit for assembling. No, no, no, but that was the transfer committee. Genuinely, it's, it's, it's, for me, it's all good. Will you talk about earlier on about some of the players and how they might respond? Would you like to see, um, from the start, would you like to see Chan getting a go in the field now against burs? Look, I think what's great about this match and what we can talk about now in terms of team selections, we can say anything. We can say anything. Absolutely. All stuff is up for grabs. Yep. Everything. We have no. We could possibly see no skirt. Oh, that's possible. Whereas it hasn't been possible for 74 years. We could possibly see. You don't think it's possible. Be real in the balls, I think the skirt is playing lads, just, you know, he is playing him. We think he's awful, but not everyone thinks he's awful. And I think Klopp's going to come in and say, well, look, he's kind of all right here. You know, we, we don't, we haven't got a great bunch. That'd be a, that'd be a measure of the man. If you could get that, I love him to resemble an excellent football. I think it's important that all the Eastern players play. Yeah. Even if they're injured. Yeah. If you don't have a fit squad, so we don't know, like, you know, we don't know who he's going to favor. Like, how to fit over in a fit girl, it's exactly for me, no, almost back. I know. I don't think he trained today for more like, I don't know, is that the, I'd say the crack between Klopp and Tory is just the fucking best. Or can you imagine I'd say the two were just laughing their heads off. Yeah. They haven't probably haven't spoken yet. You're just laughing. It's just on the call. I'll go downstairs. Yeah. There's every chance. You can imagine. You can actually imagine. Show us that one there. Will you call him? Yeah. No problem. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Every chance Cole will never play again. No. And be happy better. No, I'll probably use Cole. Yeah. Because I think Cole will, is, is again, a defender who, even though he has no pace anymore. Look, he does what he's asked. Yeah. And he's happy to play. Yeah. He's happy to play. He does what he's asked. Where is legal? We've an awful lot of players who don't do it at all. And they'd have to do what they hold. So this, this goes back to what, look, I don't see major sort of being done to the team. But it won't. Like, I, I'd be surprised now if we see the same formation, three of the back and the whole lot going on. I think he'll go straight in. This is, this is the shape lads. We're playing either a four or two, three, one, or a variation of four or three, three. This is where I want him to play. You are going to have to do this, right? He might be able to say, he might not have worked on what he wants to do, but I'd imagine he's going to try focus, first of all, on getting that defense organized and that defense sorted out. And if he, if he achieves that. Yeah. Alone. Alone. Or rather, he's saying, yeah. He said, yeah, you cannot do anything with a strong defense. Yeah. Well, he's been in there with the non-international footballers for a couple of days now. So he's seen what Moreno, he's seen in the UK. It's not. How's he though? Like, he's not even. No, he's not. He's not even. He's not even. No, he's not. I would be honest with you, I think I would have the fucking crack if you selected Enrique. I think that would be some of the best crack ever. I genuinely do. No, I think I think I just run around the place just for him. I don't think anybody even questioned it. Because, you know, if he's saying, but look, straight up, I'd imagine we're going to have a back four. You have Klein right back. You'll have Moreno left back. He'll play Sacco and Skirtland in the centre, purely because of who he is. I'd say Chan and Miller will play as the two in the centre midfield and then in front of him. But you know, and what's important now, whoever plays in midfield, like Miller's been, Miller's been a half midfield failure, one that's off and does his own team. Now, whoever sits to sit, well, not strictly, but they're not going to want to laugh and find themselves missing out on the way. Yeah. And that's not going to happen straight away, but that position of rigidity, you're talking about will come. Yeah. But if he's ever saw the importance of not conceding goals, he can't have players in midfield gone. Listen. Yeah. Look, I would imagine, then in front, you'll have Coutinho, Lilana, and probably this is the one I've been struggling with, who's he going to play in the right hand side? And that's the... You're describing the 4-2-3 one there, you know? Yeah, no, yeah. But that's what I imagine he's going to go to, you know, it's not like the wrath of 4-2-3 one. You know what I mean? The tree interchanged an awful lot up there. So, who are you saying, then Coutinho, Lilana, who has... See, well, there's no for me, you know, so it's a toss-up down between Eibs and Eibs and Inks as sort of going way forward. With much of me personally, I'm automatically even that way, because I mean, good, you want to sort of... That's his role. If you know what I mean? Yeah. That's the exact thing I said earlier, they were square pegs, that's... We've had that hell of manager as well. Obviously, he's fucking too good to do something like that, but you know what I mean? In the initial phase, yeah. No, we said no. No, we don't fucking hate that really. But in the initial phase, in terms of where he wants, where he looking at what he's got in terms of who's fit and available from, and who isn't, that's the way I'd imagine. Or else he'd play at 4-3-3, and I'd imagine then Chan would sit at the base and he'd have Catino and Milner then, just in front of him. And in the tray, he might go with Inks' storage if like in Bentake, which would be very attacking. Or it's Bentake due to... I was just gonna say, so we're a bit lost and we're just... Yeah, we don't use really... This fucking thing, you know? We've had two weeks now. Bentake was doing a fucking rugby challenge, but then you're like... He started training pictures, I haven't seen that. I didn't see the Australia. I wasn't looking at trying to put a body like he was doing stuff and, you know, it was... If he's doing stuff, he would have had a rugby bar. Right, okay. Running around, catching rugby bar. That's gonna be a good sign. So that has to be able to... Yeah, there's guarantees for starting with talent. No, no. A rugby bar at Inks. Forget the big period, it's the rugby bar. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You've played rugby this week. It's like, I don't know, I mean, formations are so overstated. Go on, this is good. It's not that cool. It's like, I don't... It's just huge yourself down there. No, it's not that cool. People go on to build formations as if... Like, this game is supposed to be... Like, the formation you're on. A table, football, or like FIFA on a computer. It's where the players are when you're defending and where the players are making themselves available when you have the bar. You know what I mean? Yeah. You don't play in a... Like, intelligent players find space. They're not taught... You don't have to stand there. So, it's all about what he has, what... How he talks to players where he wants them to be. Yeah. Do you know what I mean? So, whatever the shape... Whatever the shape, he has to really at the moment, because as he said himself, he doesn't... Well, he didn't say it exactly. But I don't think he's too happy with the warrior players. So for now, he has to do with what he has. So if that means playing a bit more narrow and playing inks and storage up top and change, he can still achieve what he wants to achieve in terms of how he wants to break far. I'm pressing. And once the players can round the fan more compact, he can still do it. That's not overstay formations, because if you don't see the formation that we all expect in the play this weekend, it doesn't mean he's not going to do it next year. When he's got rid of players, he needs... He's caught through the German system, where they were encouraged after the 2006 World Cup to bring young players through. Right. And also, they're asked to focus on building teams around the 4-2-3-1 system, because that was perceived as being the way the German national team wanted to play. So they're building towards becoming the best team in the world, at an international level. And an awful lot of the players have come through. And if you look at the way it is, until where the oligos there, most of the teams in the Bundesliga played in that formation. But within the games, the formations would change, depending on what they do. Ladback would often look more like a 4-4-2 system when they're going press in the bar, they're going to take teams on. But as soon as they broke, you could see it then reverted. That's sort of more classic 4-2-3-1, where they wouldn't get exposed in an counterattack. So, Andy has a very good point, but it's true of all modern football. Good managers, it isn't just the system that they all run up down in the pitch in this system and they run back down. The systems evolve depending on what's going on on the pitch. So your 4-2-3-1 becomes a 4-4-4-1 if you're under the car show, you want to sit deep and play in the counterattack. You know, a 3-3 at the back or 4-3-3 can easily become 3 at the back at the same time to prevent that start to counterattack. And same way to walk on how does it, you know, when the character drops in between the 2-7 at the back and the 2-7 at the back then becomes a 3 at the back system. So what you're saying is that going to manage it gets the players familiar enough to be able to make that adaptation during a match? Yeah, so basically they have not a set formation, but they set up the way they want to attack and then they set up, there's a set up, a natural set up for how they want to defend it. Almost like in Rubywear, you get a vertical line across the pitch. Yeah. So it might, you know, have actually a horizontal line across the pitch where it starts at the right forward and it goes through your midfield to prevent that easy system where you have a massive gap midfielder, a fellow players in there and you're cutting on the counterattack. Which goes back to what you were talking about earlier. Yeah, there's only one way to really defend on football and that's with tight lines. And that gap between your defenders and your midfield, that's in all-man's land. It's the team's responsibility to make sure nothing happens in between them lines. Rogers just had gaps all over the shop. He can't defend unless you do it that way. So no matter what your formation, when you're settled and you're defending, and I know the Barcelona team was like, yeah, players won a bit fucking mad for four seconds and then they get back in today, you know, because that's who you want to break quickly. The best place to win the ball is in the opposition's half and everything else. But when you're defending, when you're behind the ball, and teams are slowly building up and passing around you, you need to just keep them lines. Yeah. So no matter what you do, you want them point lines. I always think back to when Raph was in charge of Liverpool for a great example of it. And the amount of times that, you know, we were playing, supposedly, the 4-2-3, we were defending the ball. It was, Gerard was more or less a support striker to Torres and it was like a 4-4-1 formation when we were in defence. When we broke, the two wide forwards would go up quickly and join in the attack. So you'd have a 4-1 attack and then Alonso would press into midfield who would be sort of if the ball broke into midfield. He was there and he'd have this horizontal line that would run from one forward across to where Gerard would be, then to Alonso, then to the full back on the opposite side of the pitch. So if someone tried to get through you, there's a line there that more or less is designed to stop those parallel balls that are played through the team itself. There's players there in those zones to pick it up. It's just, you know, and that's something I never saw, Rodgers, and it's something that I used to, I was comparing, I'd never seen it, so I'm learning how to set a team up in that manner. And this is what I imagine we're going to see. Now if it won't come off, you could see, you know, when Van Hal took over at United last year, you could see what he was trying to do, but it never progressed to flow and football around him with that. But you could see straight away, it was an organisational structure that he was putting into the team, which is carried on to this year. And they're not great by any minute, any shakes at all, but you can see the organisation and structure there. It means the only, it means the only way you really end up conceding is from set pieces, which you're supposed to work on, on a daily basis, I'm just defensive errors. So you defend properly, unlike we were the fan owner, Rodgers, and then you work on your set pieces and you work on making less mistakes, and that way you're neutralising the other team completely, because most goals are coming from all them elements. It wasn't a ball, cheap, mistakes, set pieces, no goals. In terms of the opposition on Saturday, it's a lunchtime kickoff, I think, 1245 against Spurs. What, if anything, do we know about? I have genuinely no idea about Tottenham, I haven't, I couldn't be asked to watch them, I imagine they're very Tottenham. That young flick looks decent, that we were linked with, come on, Deli Ali, is that what I was like? He's playing a lot of tricks and toys and stuff, other than that, Erickson seems to have drifted off a tiny bit, I'm scared to say that about him, because he can come up with a few parallels down as well. It's Tottenham. It's Tottenham. You don't know what you're going to get, Tottenham always have the odd game against Israeli battles. I remember when Kenny went there, I think it was the second game of his full season or whatever, yeah, the full season's in charge, and we were shot, Charlie Adams was just fucking me. Yeah, Rafa's last season, we got down there as well, we got down there as well, we got down. If you show them a lack of respect, Arsenal did a couple of years ago, and they get picked off and CE as well. Because they have enough quality players. They have lots of quality players. They have loads of quality there, just, well I don't know what they're saying. Harry Kane against Skirtle is a bit scary though, you know what I mean, Skirtle was a bit scary though. You know what I mean? Gary Kane. Yeah. [LAUGHTER] [LAUGHTER] I think it'll be a fair form on the first season, unless it's really, Gary will be a bit more. Yeah. It'll be great. It'll be a bit of scary goals. But Harry Kane, he's, you know, he's the type of striker who just confused Skirtle all ends up. Yeah. Did last year. Yeah. And then it all comes over to some stage. Yeah. Just randomly fall over. You know when Harry puts on his fucking time lord outfit and disappears for a second. Yeah, just, yeah. And then he reappears around the far side of it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And the ball has hit like 57 people's legs and just drops coily to them and it ricochets into them. I know his own goal was spectacular. It was an identical finish to the previous weeks. That was fun. That was fun. That was fun. Yeah, it was hard not to enjoy that one. Yeah. Well, maybe if he could do that again for us. So sports, Laurie's, Harry Kane and Erickson, and I, there's a load of players, right? There's a load of players playing for sports now. I've never had one. Well, Erickson's free kicks have been quite a feature. I think certainly in the last European game, I think it might score two in one game. That's irrelevant. Oh, that doesn't count down. You have goalkeepers in that competition. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. That's good. That's good. So basically we're, we're dismissing Scotland because we know nothing about them really. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Good. And sing that song. Yeah. Oh, and it's my... It's my... It's my... It's my... It's my... It's my... It's my... It's my... It's my... It's my... It's my... It's my... It's my... It's my... It's my... It's the greatest... It's the greatest... The greatest most killed in the song ever. Look, imagine... Imagine... Imagine... If you were on a song for bail, then one of the best players in the world on a song was bail. Bail. Bail. Do you want a positive fortune at that time? It is. Seriously. It's like... It's like... It's like if you're trying to invent a computer game of the 1980s and you could have had to come up with fucking shit talks. Hell, that's... Then it feels... It feels... It feels like... It feels like... It feels like... It feels like... Bail. It feels like... - It was that song. - That song, that would put everyone to fuck your sleep. - Well it's already used about one third of our timeline there. Right, well then let's do the non-prediction score, how many goals, shit, that we did last week. - How do you start fella? What do you think? - We get three goals. - We get three goals. Would you say it's part of my score at all? - I think then we get one. - Right, so roughly speaking, it might be a three goals to one card. - Yeah, one like to say. - One like to say. Ray, do you have any ideas about how it might go? - Yeah, we'll score less than three and more than one. - Okay, very good. - They won't score one. - They won't score one. - Right, okay. - They won't score two. - Oh, here, what about that? - They'd have to get one to get to two. - That did catch out there. - What really? - Because they won't score one. It doesn't mean that they couldn't score two because it's more than one. - Okay, do you have any superstitions about this? - I do. - Should I go for a study? Do you want to go next? - I don't care. I need more coscrops here. - Okay. - Yay! - So, I think we'll score seven and spores will score five. - That's wonderful. - Oh, yeah, a belter. - A belter. - I'll have a Saturday morning. - Okay, I'll go along with that winner. - Hello, this is running, your list of tripper chats. Unbelievable stuff. You asked me anything about Liverpool FC. I will answer that immediately. I'm an encyclopedia. As you know, I played for Liverpool in the 1980s. What many trophies played with the likes of Kenny Daggle each game soon as? Oh, we wanted to watch a team we were. We were just unbelievable. Anyway, tripper chats. - Right. Chats? - Yeah? - Trippers chats, yeah. And to start it off, we have a new feature for Trippers chats. - Oh. - Yeah, yeah. We're going to use a German footballism to celebrate our new German Moistur. - Oh, okay, I'm liking this, yeah. - So, this week's world, this week's world, this week's world, is Anschluss Traffer. - Do I go? - Anschluss Traffer. - Yeah. - That sounds true. - That sounds particularly good at trippers. - Yeah. - What is this? What is this? - Anschluss Traffer. - Trev's ghost. - Trev's ghost. (laughter) - It's when a Trevor comes back. (laughter) - Anschluss Traffer is the goal you score when you're two-nil down to bring you back into the game. - They've got a term for that. - Yes? - How do they have a term for that? - Because they're Germans, they're efficient, they have fucking terms for everything. Trust me, I've got loads of people out here. - You could be absolutely spoonful out there. - Nice, Anschluss Traffer. - That was me. - This is just got it in the back of their trousers, just down here. - I know where the hope is going that way. - Yeah, it must be. - I don't know, it's magnificent. - Isn't it? - Anschluss Traffer. - Anschluss Traffer. The goal that reduces the deficit to one, E.G. brings the score to two-one rather than two-nil. - That's class, to be fair. - Yeah, thank you. - So this is the one that it comes from a commentator. - Yeah. - Basically. - Oh, Anschluss Traffer? - Hello. (laughter) - It's a great L.C.R. the same, isn't it? - Yeah, it's tremendous. (laughter) - If I spoke German, I'd probably live in Germany. (laughter) - But just still. (laughter) - It's an amazing place, man. - It's like an American except for our... (laughter) - What did he call him, but he's terrible. (laughter) - You can have her crumbie there, do something else. - I'm so sweeter. (laughter) - Yeah, fucking great, right, let's go. We're at the trophy, these trippers, chat's there. - What boy wants to know? He's got a simple, yes or no for you. He's done it in German. Ball shaving, yeah, or nine? - Yeah. (laughter) - Okay. You won't. - It's because of the zine, isn't it? - There's a zine, not a... - No, but why not? - Well, why not? - Slouch your face open. - Yeah, exactly. - I'd have... - No, the scat skin that you'll use in that braids. - By the way, I found out that the women's ones are much better, because they're tattooed with the covers of their legs, they walk much better. That's as near as you'll get. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - See if it cuts your elbow skin. - That's elbows are ruined. - Next one we've got is from Clubful Stop, and he's saying, "What's the best bargain that you ever got?" - Best bargain you ever got. - Should I start reading these questions before? - You should. - That's right. - That would be great. - Have you? - Well, just near York and out in the outlet, Klaus was able to get loads of bargain, so I've never really hit the jackpot, and that made our look, you know? - I picked up a watch that was reduced from $800 to $125, when I was out in... - The outlet would be coming in. - Yeah, yeah. Still had to still wear it, so it's like, had the software glass on it, not. And that's gone back 2001. - Dude, it's something that reduced the motor, what? - $800 to $125. - All right, okay. - And at the time, the one turn for it probably was about 50 euros or something, like $40, you know what I mean? - No, it was all to be in about 90 euros at the time. - Why? - 100 euros. - But I just saw it. - I know. - That's too much of a reduction, not to go for it. - Mm-hmm. - And fucking, yeah, still wearing it. - Things that last leak, you know? - Yeah. - If you look at that watch, how much has cost you per day? - Yeah. - Since you've had it, and you may have for life. - That represents a bargain to you, is it something like that? - Oh yeah, it's a value leak. - Well, enough for me. The best bargain I ever got was I bought some noodles. (laughing) - I was a student. I won 17 left for the weekend. I found some noodles for $89. And they fed me for two days. - That's a bargain right there. I kept me alive. They kept me alive. - Yeah. - Speaking of hygiene rate, the next question, it's from the club for a stop, as well. It's Bath or Shower. You seem to have a take on, on male hygiene. - Yeah, well, it, on predominantly Shower, but I had a bath here tonight, and it was actually fucking lovely. - If you're going to do that scrape, then would you need to be in a bath? - Sure, not a shower. - Not a shower. - I can't stand bath slides. I don't understand why anyone has a bath. - No, it's animal behavior. - It's relaxing. - It's relaxing. - Having a bath is fucking animal behavior. - Bath. - You're lying in your own filth. It's fucking squirky. (laughing) You're lying in your own filth. And the longer you lie there, the more filthy it gets. - Come on, help Jordy, I hear you. - I'm sure it's the one to say. - How dirty it is. - Yeah, exactly. - I'm pretty dirty. - Of course you're sitting in your own filth right now. We can call in your own filth. - Yeah. - It's not floating around here. - Are you trying to say? Are you trying to say? - No, but in a bath, you can see the filth. - No, we see the soap going. You don't see, that's not your filth. - There's stuff coming off you, Ali. - No. - There's stuff coming off you. (laughing) (laughing) - Phil. - MacGyver wants to know who is the lover and the deja lover of the trippers. - That's a fucking face insult to I on the challenge. - Yeah. - I don't know, is it? Maybe. (mumbling) (laughing) - I'm happy, happy with that. (laughing) - But for someone to be lover, there has to be a Rogers. And what is that person to that person? So let's say Phil Rogers. - Phil's right, Phil's right. He's making the selections, right? - He worked on a passcode. Everyone in the world hates Dave Thomas. (laughing) And he does fall over a lot. It does fall over a lot. And yeah, so I love it and I keep bringing him back in. - Yeah, despite everything. - Yeah. - Because I love him. - Well, lucky Davey. (laughing) - So yeah, right? Yeah, Davey. - No, I wouldn't. I wouldn't agree with that. - I can't believe that. - Well, I think Dave will be Marley Lucas. (laughing) - Come on. What about that show? - What? What's the rationale for that? - Because he's very easy. He's an honest bloke. - Right. - I think he's rational. - He's an honest bloke. (laughing) - I know.
