(laughing) Sorry. - Bogdan bag, show you his-- - Adam Bogdan. So what do we think about the comparatively underwhelming goalkeeping signing? I know a lot of people are maybe excessively annoyed about it. Are you excessively annoyed? - I don't think it's great, you know, 'cause we had that championship level goalkeeper for five years. I think it's great that we brought someone in top level. It's gonna challenge me. - Oh, there's-- - That's definitely not championship level. - There's a tone to that power. - Power. - No. - I'm not quite picking up one, but-- - I just can't. - It's ridiculous. - It's ridiculous? - It's okay. It is real, you're obviously exercise, but it's tell me what. I don't know if I care. - Hey, there we go. Over the last five years, you were just hoping your goalkeeper didn't get injured or didn't hit a lot of shy form, 'cause you'd have to put Brad fucking Jones in goal. - Okay. - I know it's just gonna be the same thing. Like, you're just gonna be afraid to-- Well, some of our fans aren't afraid of Bogdan, which is absolutely, that's more scary than Bogdan. (laughing) It's just, it's just more kind of like, midi-lay hit that shit patch last season, and it's just gonna be the same thing where you have to either say, okay, we're just gonna play him through her, or we're gonna put Adam Bogdan in goal for Liverpool in competitive games, that aren't charity matches or anything like that. - And you're dead set against him as a footballer. - Pointless. - Okay. Based on what you've seen of him, you don't think he's anywhere near the standard that we require that I'm taking. Okay, right. Has anyone got any kind of counterpoint to this? - He's alive. - That's a very good one. - He played well against us in the coop. (laughing) - I think if you make the decision that you're not upgrading midi-lay, I don't give a fuck. I mean, if you decide to midi-lay as your keeper, then really doesn't fucking matter what we do after the game. - As long as the money that we haven't spent on the number two goalkeeper goes on the top end of the picture, which is where we need it. - Yeah. - Look, I have probably seen Bogdan play twice, right? And both of them. - Realistically, that's all they say. - Probably against Liverpool. And apart from him looking like the guy from Homeland when they found him in the cave, I have absolutely no fucking opinion. Put opinion on him whatsoever. But you would suggest that if he's 26, 27, playing for Bolton reserves, you know, he hasn't got a massive leap ahead of him. - Tim Howard scored on him. He's got a massive leap ahead of him. - Tim Howard scored on him. Tim Howard scored a goal on him. - I just, I remember Bogdan playing against us. I remember Bogdan playing for Bolton when he played one season for them, and like... And that's been the height of his professional career. He had won a season where he played most of the season. Isn't that right? - Yeah, I just, I thought... - He actually got their fans player of the season, even though he was gash, 'cause they were just atrocious as well. - Oh, he did. - Okay, well... - I mean, to put it into context, Chelsea's reserve goalkeeper next year is gonna be Rob Green. So, I mean, you know, there's this bigger gap between Rob Green and Corta as it is between Minnily and Bogdan. - Well, I'd still argue that Green is a better goalkeeper. - No, he is. But Corta as a millionaire has been hit in a minnily, so I'm talking the drop off is the same. - I know, but... - Oh, well, that's a positive. (all laughing) - They're forcing him for his way better as well. - Sure, before we started, do I have to be the fucking positive one? 'Cause this is the let's stand that you're gonna get if I have to try and be positive, all right? - There's the straws. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - I just, I think with him, I think there's been a panic nail that they decided to get rid of, they decided not to renew Rob John's contract, right? And I don't know what happened after I was like this. - Did you see the pictures of Rob John's at the... Imagine Smudge, he's got a selfie with everybody. It's fucking magic. - Oh, I love Rob John's. - I love the, I love the... - He's a sound like a great one. - He's a top man, he's a top man. But the one with him and Roberto Carlos, you don't know which is the show in your head. I love fucking Rob, I love that one. - Have we got you in there? - Ah, yeah, yeah, yeah, we'll do it in just a minute. (all laughing) - Well, I don't know, I'm bogged down. Look, what's he gonna bring? Assume that minnily remains at the level that he's at, which is a big assumption and doesn't get injured. He's probably probably plays the League Cup matches, at best. Maybe the FA Cup matches, the early FA Cup games, plays a bit in the Europa. - But it does mean that... - I just think it's one of those assignments that you just say to yourself, if we didn't sign on what I've made that big of a difference. And I don't think it would. - No, 'cause maybe there's not a pressure. - Yeah, I think he's a mild upgrade on Brad Jones. I'll give him that. But I think it is just literally a case of, we need it. It's not a keeper, you could sign a kind of a keeper or code blossom into even a mediocre keeper. - This is just another admission that yet. We don't give a fuck about the back of goalkeeper. - I think that if you're going for a goalkeeper, I came. Sorry, not like him, but if you're going for the idea that you're signing a number two as opposed to somebody to push minnily, I would rather say a sign say somebody where, that's 26, 37. That's established. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. - Yeah, or even, I don't know, maybe go fragile or something like that from Germany. But you know, someone that you know you'll be able to get in and that potentially could push minnily, could even still push minnily if needs be in saying a dipper form like you did last season where you're not worried that Jesus, if he cut them in for an extended run of games, what type of form are you going to get out of him? And that's, look, it's terrible, you know, saying that about the fella. And it's harsh, maybe he'd be grateful or something. But all the performance evidence, all the performance evidence that I've seen of him and look, we, most people, this thing about our, who's seeing bogged down play? Well, he played in the premise of, as I said, he played in the premise for most of that season. He was like, you see Yaskaloyne and without Yaskaloyne and talent. Like, it's the same style as us. - He was nothing like you. - So he wasn't like, you see, like, it's in any way. - So he has the same gear as we are. - Yeah, he's trying to bolt up. - He has the same weird style, but couldn't execute it, like, you know what I mean? - I wonder if he's one of who, that we've got on the, we're not selling sterling lists. Therefore, we don't have money. You know what I mean? I wonder if the sterling sale goes through, or if we thought the sterling sale was gonna go through with it, they've gone differently. I don't know, I'm just wondering whether we've almost got like an A-budget, which is sterling stays. Therefore, we have no money for a goalkeeper and we've got a B-budget, which is sterling's gonna go. And if it had gone in a different sequence, we might've ended up with a better goalkeeper, I don't know. - I just, the question comes back to like, that we saw him parmachine in the free and played him as a reserve keeper, would we have noticed the difference on genuine. - That's a good note, Dan. - 'Cause he played in the County Gas, so he probably saw it for his hands. - Jesus, what? - Ray, can we get you on the next of our new boys, which is Danny Ings? How are you feeling about the arrival of Danny Ings? - It's more of a sign from me. This is the, whether it's a-- - Same category, really? - An A to B, a step. Well, listen, if he's being bought off a backup fair enough, we're not buying another striker, then I'll be in the way that with, you know, it's, you can't, I think he's better than what should be getting shipped out as in Lambert and Vereini. So in that sense, it's an upgraded both, it's, then it's just, it's not exciting, isn't it? - So what you're telling me is that Sturg, Ings, Origi, and A and other, isn't exciting to you. - Well, no, well, that one, not saying, yeah. It depends, yeah, exactly, exactly. And then I could be happy with them stepping into the great. The same way when Lambert and Vereini saw it, oh, he thought we were gonna have this storage flowing fit, and it woke him up, we mean we're two goals up against teams. And, you know, we'd come on in a cup game and get ahead of him. - And it would have gone different for him, yeah. - You know, and it could have been different, but instead to rely on these players, they, oh, you don't think they're up to the great. That's when you get found out, you know? - That's the problem I have with Ings. It's not just, it's not just signing Ings. It's the, we have storage and a reege who are there. That's basically for a choice striker and fourth choice. And storage is really injury prone. So for me, you need kind of two really good, two strikers. If you are going down the road of having storage is the major part of the squad, you need two players between a reege and storage who can deliver when you're calling them. And I don't think Ings fits into that category. I just think that if there's a similar situation to what Lambert encountered, I think Ings will fall short like Lambert did, if he is going to be needed to play a lot. - He's got a lot more to him though, doesn't he? - I think there's a bit of hope for Ings. I think he's got more to him than say Burini has. I think he's got a, you know, war crate and all. I think he probably has a bit more to him than Burini has. He probably upgrades your towards striker option, but then again, in my mind, I would have had a reege as towards striker, because in reality, he should be relying on your fours, two strikers. And you know, that should be what your mindset is and then the toward one comes in and out. Like he got, whatever it was, 10 goals or something over 24 year games for Burini last season. Will he get 25 games this year? I don't think he will. And so he's not likely to get the goal return that he got last year. And it comes back to it that we need Fellas who are going to score double figures in their strike, 'cause the fours too must get at least 30 goals between them. And then you're hoping that the toward fella chips in with 10 goals from say, you know, almost a one and two strike rate. He's gonna make subs appearance and probably get 20 appearances in the league and then whatever else in the league open the FA Cup. He's gonna be in a team that makes more chances. He has a bit of quality about him in terms of that he does it, but like, you know, I think that's just a natural fear now when we look at the players that we've signed and just the names themselves. I think it's as much to deal with the names as it is to deal with anything else. - Yeah. - And I doubt me, I'm not coming down, but it doesn't really bother me if, and it's the same if that I had this time last year. If we are signed and somebody better or somebody at the same level as storage and Ben Heskey isn't that fella like, do you know what I mean? - You're gonna have a lot. Dave, the last of the guys in is James Miller and he was confirmed again in the lag times and so we've been off a very strongly rumored before. I think everyone was presuming it was done deal. - There's a split kind of school of thought on Miller as well, but I think everyone can accept that he is a genuinely decent standard of footballer and a good addition to the squad. Would you go that before that, would you say that you're very, very happy to see him as part of the Liverpool team because I actually genuinely would myself. - Oh yeah, I mean, I think I said towards the end of last season that Miller's better than any central midfielder we have. - Mm-hmm. - Simple as that. There's not to say the camera won't be better, but in all the games, you know, in the very few games he's played in midfield for Liverpool, he hasn't been that great. I think he's, Miller's better than the final third than Henderson. He's a smarter footballer than Henderson. He's an upgrade on what Jared was last season. He's an upgrade on Alan. He's an upgrade on Lucas. He's a two-title win-in, 50-yard caps for England, played at the highest level for 10 years. You know, I don't see that you're talking about a divide. I don't see the downside, you know? - Yeah, a lot of people throw around the age, a lot of people throw around the whole, you know, the cliches, but him never really doing at international level, blah, blah, you know the nonsense. - People said that about Jared. - Yeah, yeah. - I mean, you know, Jared's the best player, probably in the club's history, and people would still now, they're not saying it now because, you know, they're regaining him after he's retired, but the reality is for the vast majority of Jared's England career, people said, well, he was never very good for England. Said same thing about John Barnes. I mean, fuck England, right? I mean, I don't care about that. Does he come in? Could he come into our start in 11 and make it better than it was last season? Yes, he can. He could be able to do it for a good couple of seasons. - But the problem with Milner is the same problem with things. It's the same problem with a lot of what we've done so far, which is they just feel like marginal gains. There's not a leap forward that we're making here, you know? - Not really. - Yeah, so Milner, I think it's a good player, I think it's a marginal gain on what we've had, and if it was Milner, and then we went and signed, I know this isn't gonna happen, but we go and sign Benzema, and then we go and sign. I think Klein is a very good sign in, and then we, you know, go and buy Vidal, and then all of that makes loads of sense. But when you're talking about ings, I can see why people are getting a little bit bogged down, or bogged down in... (laughter) - There we go. - I like it, I like it. - That's not it, that's not it. - There we go. - For the record, Phil's the only one who enjoyed that. (laughter) - Phil's the only one I like, so... (laughter) You know. - Yeah, fuck you. (laughter) - I can see what you do. (cheering) - Trev, just have to take a detation away from your calm down, though. - Leave my own girls. So I can see why people are getting frustrated about it, but Milner, on its own, as a deal, is a really smart bit of business, and we shouldn't forget, the Manchester City wanted to keep him, and offered him 160 grand a week. You know, a better deal than he was getting, and they're about to go and buy Pogba, and all these massive players spend a ton of money. You know, so, and Arsenal wanted him better clubs, and that's better teams, and that's wanted him in there. So he's a legitimate upgrade. Onings, I mean, to go back to... There's two ways to look at it. He scored more goals than all of our strikers put together, but how many of your goals would our strikers have scored if they played in Bernie's team for a big round of seasons? - It was like a great life. - The thing that I think Inks does have is that, and I think we seem to be looking for players that have this, is a real work rate in the forward line. Like, he's a real nightmare to play against. So I don't know if you've watched the YouTube of him playing against United and playing against City, some of the bigger sides, but he does, far more than Bernie or Lam, but he does, you know, put a shift in up there, and I think that that is important for the way we... - That's an instant step up right there. - But that's important for the way Rogers likes to play. - Yeah, that's what I mean. - And that... - Does he get us up to... (laughing) - He's clearly not Suarez, right? Clearly, you know, not Suarez, but the way that Suarez never stops pestering the defenders, he does have that in his game. And Sturridge doesn't have that in his game, and Ballerteri doesn't have that in his game. - But he doesn't have bouncy shins. - No. - Nobody has bouncy shins like Suarez. - But he has sleeve tattoos, which is, you know, apparently. - He has a hump as well. - Yeah. - He does. - And he's the oldest, looking at 22-year-old. - Yeah, he's basically Henderson. - No, you see. - As a center forward, because they both have a sleeve hump. - I think it's more of a Frankenstein guy. - I like the formed players. I think the more the formed, the better you have. - Yeah, you have to have us at some time before. - He doesn't have some sort of ridiculous ears, isn't he? - Suarez is deformed. I mean, we want deformities. - That's what we want. - That's insane. - We've got enough good looking lads. - We've got too many good lads. (laughing) - We need a few. Like, remember when Kett was on thin. - Yeah. - You know what I mean? - You have to have it. - Never trust the good lads for fun. - We have forward lads. - We have Dirk, Luke, Craig, Bellamy, and Peter Crouch. - Yeah. - Fuck it, brilliant. That ain't Taurus. - That's brilliant. - I'm in the pretty basset and we're in there. (laughing) - But it is, you have to have a few ugly lads there, just, you know. - You have to. - Not to do you ugly, still, just be ugly. - Just to be ugly. - Yeah. - Time to stop looking. - Why we have Trevor in the pod. (laughing) - That's my token role here. - We're going back on the Miller one. - But if you think of a midfield of Miller and Henderson, and Chance sitting at the base of it. - Yeah. - They can all roll into each other's positions. - Yeah. - Going back, you know what I mean? If you take, let's take what Roger says has been valid in terms of the way he wants to play and the way he wants his players to be able to play in different positions, right? You put those three into midfield, and you can say every single one of them can play in any of the three midfield will be bullied, they're all big lads. Whereas if you put Alan in there, he gets physically bullied, and we know if Lucas gets in there, his leg's gone, right? So you've got, you've got, you've got work, right? And you've got, you've got physicality in there, which is something we've been missing. So I, like, the Miller sign to me is grand. It goes back to me, the other thing. Miller sign to me is grand once the bigger signs, if they happen, and I'm not, this is my concern. I don't know if they happen. They, if, if, if. (laughing) - Yeah, have to delude yourself at this, at this season. But if, if they happen, then, then, you know, that, that look becomes a very true toy. - Look first, we can only deal with what we have at the moment. There's no point in speculating about things we don't know. So are we happy with the concept of when Danny's off, you know, after pulling or whatever he pulled, and we've got ings in a region up front, for, for Liverpool. - That's, that's what, - Or we've got one of them with two behind. - No, if, if we're saying that, we're saying that we're not selling another striker. - That's right. - And it's, but, and that's my point. It's the next one in the door. It's the next striker in the door. It's the next one in another striker in the door. - What are you presuming? - Which is, which is crucial. - Which is crucial. - Well, this, this brings us nicely to the, to the idea of speculation. And I wanted to go there next. And there's been all sorts of nonsense talked about an awful lot of people crying into their, into their tea tonight. - But here, Kavachovich, one more time. - A lot, a lot of people. - Ben. - I don't think he exists. - He doesn't think he's a bit of a Joe Gomez. - He's a Joe Gomez. - He's a Joe Gomez. - He's a Joe Gomez. - They know, they know, they know, they know, they know. - He doesn't, they know, they're all pictures of footage. We're here. - Oh, that's why Pascaux Marsh have gone. Pascaux is Joe Gomez, a Marsh has come out of the sketch. They've got the two leaks, fuck off, now you get two. That's where the teams are coming from, you know? - Yeah, yeah. - It was, it was one of the questions that came in from people, whether it does Kavachitch or what do you, how do you pronounce it, does he exist? - It wasn't. - This evening's, this evening's speculation says it's been crushed. Wily is, Carlos Tabas is now apparently talking to Boca Changers. So, the only people who are hoping Carlos Tabas. - Oh, that's speculation. You know, 'cause Carlos is definitely coming. It was definitely gonna happen. - Who the fuck thought we were signing it to? - Oh, everybody taught that, and it was definitely happening, Dave, and then... - And then, yep, yeah, and then... - Just remember, when Manchi was coming in as director of football, and it was Manchi, Manchi, Manchi, Manchi, Manchi, Manchi. Let's just ignore the fact that directors of football rarely move from clubs. Let's just completely parrot that, right? And then imagine that the fella who's already... - We're going out for hoping. - Loads of civilians, so I'm just... - Carlos, Sergeant of the Middle Force, when Carlos Tabas be any less Liverpool signing. I mean, can you think of any signing that we could possibly make, which would be less Liverpool? You know, he's available, he's cheap, he's brilliant, and he's old. - No. - That's never, ever, ever gonna happen for us. - Well, listen, Tabas will be a lovely signing. - Not gonna happen. - Well, it's not, 'cause you... - Carvages doesn't exist. Just let us put this on record. - He's not real. - He doesn't exist. It doesn't exist. He lives in Joe Gomez's house. - Joe Gomez made him up on YouTube. - Yeah, George Gomez having a laugh at him. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. - Oh, actually, another bit of speculation that Salder is saving on this guy before I comment was that apparently, let's not speculation, Southampton have signed a right back some chap from supporting Lisbon for three and a half million. So... - What's in careers next season? - So, this would seem to suggest now that Armand might, that we were talking about earlier, might be looking like... - Well, I mean, to be fair, Kline is a good sign in. If that comes off, we're talking about marginal gains and forward leaps. Kline is a significant step forward on what we had a right back. - For sure. - Right? - That's what he does. - What? - That's what he gets to do. - Look, at least he's real. - So in the right direction. - Let's see, let's see, let's see. - We'll be in a bipolar now for a minute, right? You know, Nathaniel Kine comes in, he's gonna be a starting right back. He's probably the second best right back in the week. I mean, it's a good sign. So to give the cup credit, we're moving early and that is a good sign. - That's the first... - That's the first... - To me again, I'll go back to... - You don't believe it either. - It's not what we need right now. - I do, though, we need a right back. - But you can get the fellow from Sport and Lisbon for three and a half million. - Well... - That's a tempting guy, I'm sorry. (laughing) - Sorry about that. - This is my point. - Well, how could you? - You could... - Your chest is risky, Phil. - But you can sign, on him saying, Dave, is you can sign a right back. - Yeah, we could. We could sign a trippy half of three and a half million. And then you would have had a fucking conipption in the pod tonight, thank you. - I would have been welcoming him because... - You would have fucking eaten the microphone. - We could have had... (laughing) - We could have had loads of pawns around Trippier. - Yeah. - It would have been brilliant. The Trippier would have been... - To be fair, that would have been the best thing about it. - Yeah. - For about a week ago, about a week ago. - Do you know how long... - You were like... - We're saying a Trippier. We're saying a Trippier. I'm fucking telling you now, we're saying a Trippier. That's all you said. - Yeah. - And we're not. - He wasn't happy about that. - No, he was furious. (laughing) - Fucking typical Liverpool. We couldn't, should have that claim wrapped up. Why am I going back? - No, I'm second. - You were confused with me, you want to check those corners again? I genuinely don't care. I want to see Fucking Ben Heskey constantly mention all the fucking... I can't take it. That part more you believe from what's going to happen to me. I don't care. - You're off your head. - Don't worry about that. - It's brilliant to hear you shouting about how you don't care. - It's good, it's good. - But Kline is a legitimate upgrade and there's a legitimate improvement. - It's the first vaguely positive thing that's happened the same time. - So we got linked up for me not last night. - Oh for fucks sake. (laughing) - In some sort, in some relatively credible newspaper in Brazil called Global. (laughing) I am choosing to believe is essentially the Guardian of Brazil, soccer with, you know. - How close is he to Sony? - Well, we've come in strongly. And the Brazilians don't like to throw that word around, so I... - I believe you've stepped up our engine. (laughing) Put me on my pillow and caps locks. (laughing) Just so she'll have strung the link is. - I bet that Global's Merseyside sales have gone through the... (laughing) - Oh, another right back that's on the move that we taught we might get is Michael Richards. He's gone to Villa, have you heard this? - Yeah, you said we'd get Richards as well. - Michael Richards has got to... - Michael Richards has got to... - And actually on the sky sports, like Jim White said, "Hello, Tim." He spoke to the camera as if he was talking to Tim, Timmy Tactics. (laughing) I said, "Hello, Tim." "Good evening, Tim." - Well, I can't guarantee you. Tim... (laughing) - Fuck him, have your ring on. (laughing) - You can see me! (laughing) - Look at me. - Look at me. - It's all going to be. - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... (laughing) - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... (laughing) - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... - It's all going to be like... - You just think with that... - You just... - It's the sound of a man's brain breaking life... - You're just... - When you think of Amino... - You get excited... - And then you just think of it... - It's like... - But that's the definition of this... - I'm probably a few on the coverage... - On the coverage, I'm like... - I've said it... - I've watched them a fair bit... - For into my life... - Look, I've stayed on... - Where would he play? - You weren't that into him... - No, no, no, no... - Then you start second guessing yourself... - 'Cause every... - Oh, coverage, any dude... - Oh, he's definitely half of them, no... - But then you go... - But I watched them... - And when I watched them... - He didn't stand out... - Look, it carried his story out... - In that Inter Milan team... - And you say... - He just felt loads of assists... loads of goals... - You know... - We really need somebody... - That's going to have loads of assists... - And loads of goals... - Maybe he makes sense... - But I just... - And the coverage is... - I was just there... - I don't... - I don't understand... - Where is he going to play? - Nobody... - Nobody who has an opinion about any of these players... - Has ever watched them enough... - To have an opinion... - It's fucking fact, right? - I mean, there's no way people have... - There's no way people have watched - Nathaniel Klein enough... - To have an opinion about him... - We're all just taking... - Like, the narrative that's in the media... - That he's a very good right back... - But how many games have Nathaniel Klein... - In his room could we say we've watched? - I'll tell you something, Dave... - Ten... - I'll tell you something, right? - But at the end of last season... - I didn't even want to watch Liverpool... - Yeah... - So, these people are telling me that they're watching... - People who tell you they've watched 30 games of fucking... - Right... - What's this fucking name? - Can't possibly say whatever the fuck his name is to say... - He's the next Coutinho... - First of all, he doesn't play where Coutinho plays... - Yeah... - Second of all, nobody has watched him enough... - To be able to make that decision... - I... - I don't know what coverage it comes into our team... - Is... - If you don't play... - One of Henderson's... - Yeah... - In a diamond... - Like, that means that's where he goes... - Yeah... - And... - I don't see... - How that happens... - Yeah... - And people talk about... - He's gonna play in that... - In that sitting role... - And then you're saying... - Well, when Jared played... - Yeah... - But then you're saying... - But he's not... - That type of midfielder... - It just doesn't... - I honestly don't... - I don't know what kind of midfielder he is... - Seriously... - I could think of it as players in detail... - And the other thing I have with Serie A... - And I threw it out there... - And... - It was gas... - Because nobody... - I said to me... - Name one sentiment... - Italian sentiment failure... - Who moved from Italy to England... - In the last... - Ten years... - Right... - And an overwhelming success... - Well, I think you could broaden that out there... - Well... [laughter] - Obviously... - You could broaden that out there... - In your expression... - Any player from Serie A... - Who's the last player from Serie A... - No... - I mean, like... - And place the place... - You're brilliant... - Like, look at La Mela... - La Mela did fuck off... - Look at where all the examples I got back to... - What's that? - Where... - All the examples I got back where... - Forward... - Like it was a guy on me and it was like... - Very complex... - And then I was like... - That's all 15 years ago... - Somebody choose all that meat and I went... - He's managed in England since then... [laughter] - That's how long ago he was... - He said he'd date... [laughter] - It's nearly my age after that... - There's a reason why players tend to struggle when they come in from Serie A... - Because the game is played in a different way in Italy than it is in England... - Do you know what I mean? That's why you've meant to have dominated Italy so much... - Because they've been very much more European style... - Or more to the German or Spanish style... - In terms of how quickly they move and how quickly they press teams over there... - That isn't the standard that goes around. - But to be faced... - I mean, I've had this debate with you before. I think it's the same with the German League. People argue that we should be shopping in Germany. But who are the last great players to come out of the German League and move to England? Who's moving to United, Arsenal, Chelsea, City, Liverpool... - From the Germans League... - And this came in and made a difference. Who's done that? - Well, have a nice... - They picked the bozzles... - From Real Madrid... - Yeah, I suppose... - Murdeshacker. - Murdeshacker. - So apart from Murdeshacker... - Who's come from the German League? - Sure, no. - Sure, no. It's Ali said that apart from the aqueduct and the world's one of the Romans Murder sack okay, but I'm talking over the last 10 years. Yeah, who would have been a big player? I was gonna bunters me again. I know which did very well for stoke glasses fucking out If you give me a stock player fuck off I'm confused who matters on the last season six one Yeah, there's no shot, but I don't think it's because there's not good plays in the German League I just don't think German plays move that easy. I know and that's that's that's a bigger thing Yeah, you know and if they and if they do move they do move they've got such a good option to go to say why I'm unit They're really good. Yeah, they'll end up up by a Munich Yeah, and I'm making the same one is doing a major But my point is the people are arguing that we should go into shopping all of these leagues the Italian League the German League players Not move and when they do they they're not success a lot of that to do with the money though I mean with the price difference by not shopping in England like for you know, I mean Yeah, not necessarily superior substandard players that you could get something near enough to sign for a quarter of the price Let's say in Germany, and that's that's the temptation of it rather than the league quality of you I think when it comes to our transfer strategy and we talked about it earlier. I think rightly or wrongly the FSC and Rogers place undo emphasis on someone's experience in the Premier League they because the rate of failure from foreign leagues is so high But that that's that's the point I made in when we're doing the video here is that I don't think that that they're even necessary Place in such a high rate in terms of their likely success I think they have a conscious policy that if they can get a player in England to fit it And it only costs them say 10% more than what it would to the voice somewhere else or 20% more They're prepared to pay it because their belief their vision is and Sort of British car of a team and if you look at who look at look at the signs We're making this this really hits home with that idea that they believe that they can get the quality So in there's something loads of lads and frees they're saying what we could spend two or three million or four million to bring in So many that have the same impact from but there's another reason for her as well, right is that If you sit down in Dannyings as an example, right? Let's say we want to but I say we pay a million for him, right? Let's say he doesn't work out a year from now, right? 20 teams in the Premier League will be able to afford to pay eight million for Dannyings Three teams in most of the other leagues across Europe will afford to pay eight million for a player We bought from Italy So the reason that the other reason and you know is that the resale value of English players is higher than the resale value of Some foreign leagues so in most foreign leagues if we're looking to sell a player and recoup the money that we play for it We're expecting the top three or four teams in that league to buy it whereas in England You could basically look away Stan look how much money they've given us over the last few years or the ship plays They've taken office, you know We can go to the 11th to have 13th richest team in our league and they're much richer than the 6/7th richest team in the other league So there is an assurance policy there Dannyings will never lose money on Dannyings Yeah, I'd say in time you're pissing into the wind because they're like players and teams in the Premier League They don't need they don't need to sell players like for teams at the bottom of the other leagues like our mid table That's sort of a fact of life like yeah develop a good player and you have to sell them whereas like everybody get everybody's filthy rich in England So like Liverpool having like a good bit of money that it's not worth a whank if you're shopping in England But it mitigates the risk by shopping in England because you know you'll always recoup your money Whereas that won't happen in the in so it's just two different economies. Yeah, it's a terrible terrible business wanker argument But stead right it is a business wanker argument, but that's the reality is you buy local lamb You know, but if we're going for center forward to go back to Thing I think we're going for center forward. So we have to shop outside in Oh look, hey, because if you look at the top teams they they very rarely sign a center forward in England In English center forward because they don't produce they don't produce a prolific center forward to the exception of Harry Kane You think of it the great center forward we bought like we've bought them we've brought them in from Europe from the foreign That's why when I see it's looking to spend mad money on Benhesky or just straight away You think the fella is a back post center for it's it's going back to Andy Carroll thing again The fella never attacks the front post he we could get a better center forward for him at the stupid amount of money That's being closed as if you can't you can't ignore the fact that the club are saying they're not going to spend that stupid money Like you can't believe the link that Benhesky and but don't believe the fact that we won't pay 30 million for him I mean the reality is the club Valium is a 20 million power player. They're not going to play But if if we haven't done it before with other players like I could buy into it, but we have so the fact share would mention Also, I think there's there's probably being something said somewhere, you know, we didn't like to name Ray what one man who was forced into playing center for for his last season? Is Rahim starting and he seems to be very much sought after prospect for other clubs this summer How are you feeling about the prospect of him leaving? Erdogan they detected a little bit all of like well, just you know jog on if you're gone. Let's get top dollar for you Is that where you are mentally? Yeah, most definitely yeah, I have been since he started toning down the contract It went well, I'd like to believe he's on down a hundred and a week, but um Yeah, he's he's he's gallons of potential and that's all it's been for me He showed glimpses of brilliance and he has this potential to be something, but No one's bigger than the club and if the fella doesn't want to play there and we're getting forty four million He's done nowhere near forty four eight millions walk for a little bit of the mile is anyway Yeah, I know it's happily say that say the battle now for that to open money Do you have any any belief at all that he may still be at the club if if if they continue if they go down the road They went down and say with Suarez in the past and said look if you don't pay what we want then you don't get the player So if he if he ended up staying It's a different thing what Dave says is it's it's all pointing towards that It looks like our phone answers are gonna be based on that so yeah, I'm looking on our team to improve Stan was in the team last year and look where we were yeah, that money is invested properly now That's it's all so talking about now. So yeah, I don't know if they'll die in the things But now it's it's having gone out of him. Yeah, and that money is now apparently up to 40 million a second I'd say where I look at forty four million and I'd say the day that we do and that's that's my reckoning That's what we think that's the sort that we put out a figure of 50 million So to me halfway there between that that's just a second bit now on that I say we go Yeah, Paul I need more more attachment to the player than then Ray house there Would you would you be I don't know them to keep them? No, not really and they're like well We said before so that this isn't the same as losing lose Suarez. It's not losing your absolute best player It's losing someone who could become a brilliant player. Yeah, I mean he's he's probably in his career. He's probably strung together about 10 or 11 months of really good form in his three in his three years playing senior football So it's not it's not it is it's a kick in the stones We're losing someone who has that potential. Yeah, but like we are gonna get a lot of money from so I like I'm not really worried about it that way. But what about the idea of down the road when he When he possibly does turn into quite a wonderful footballer on a regular consistent basis Well that could happen, but I don't think there's much we could do about it I don't think there's much we could do about it. I don't think there's much We could have done other than get topped out of from I think the writing's been on the wall since the the BBC interview It was very Michael Owen. It was very kind of yeah, the groundwork for me fucking off That's basically what he is putting in there. Yeah, so I don't I'm not that bothered Like I don't think there's much we could have done I think we can squeeze an extra couple of million on top of what's it you've been so far Yeah, they're bid there bid and early if they obviously want them and I think they they they do want an English replacement Formula so I think we will squeeze a good bit more money out of them and I'd be happy enough with that I don't I don't want to lose them if you just said like flatter Would you rather the money or keep him then obviously it keep him But like he doesn't want to relate. He's not he's not like Suarez where he's gonna Like he's gonna go out like a maniac anyway Like we saw that the last six months of the season when his head was turned like you see stuff playing so Yeah, I don't think there's much we can do Yeah, fair enough. I'll tell you what lads if that money isn't completely reinvested plus What we would have expected the transfer budget to be for the summer There's gonna be very very very high levels of discordment doesn't it because this should be as you said earlier on that This should be bonus money shutner and to be fair I don't think that there's ever been any evidence that that hasn't been the case now It's always been reinvested and I'd imagine it would be again So you should be excited now the cost of 40 million plus whatever the summer budget was except we're not Well, I think because we spent a hundred million last season That's we see what happens when we're almost, you know, we go a bit mad like, you know when we have too much money I mean, I'm just doing anything The player that he is now You could replace him twice over for 40 million, right? The question is is he gonna become a player that makes us think that 45 million was actually cheap And there's a lot of evidence that he that he will they kick on and become a really top-class player But he doesn't want to be here. So what can he do it? Like, you know, if he does want to be here He does want to be here and it's simple as that. So I'd said am I do it quickly so that we I do it quickly so that we you know, we can sort the squad out get rid of it It's a bit of a bad smell around the place at the moment get rid of it, you know get some new players in invest the money into the squad So it looks like he's probably gonna have to hand the transfer request in I would imagine yeah It's always a concern to me that with the clubs that go on today. They're not worried about the history for players Like well, having a look at what is the only right there are people and you know, I mean Demanding this that's definitely I'm a good look at 80 anyway. Well, that's what I'm talking about So, you know, why would you be welcoming? I mean imagine me a city Every pitch he goes and they're like, it's not just Liverpool fans. You know, wait that don't like what he's doing He's got enough for money wages that that most people are fucking kill family members for Oh Apart from Sterling, what other movement that words do you see and all of them realistically hello demo Historically speaking, who do you see? I'd be great to see Love and go I don't care. Yeah, you said who would you like? Okay. Yeah, I'd get rid of bogged down We selling for like about three million more Just a little bit ask us. Yeah. Yes. Yes. We'll sign them. Yeah. There's a door Oh, I signed the contract Where's Cal to be going on the top of that contract? Where's where's the training gear? But he'll do I think I'd say I don't Lucas or Alan will go and probably Lucas because Alan seems to be fairly confident he's staying And up top you'd expect Lambert I'm very need to go. I don't know about pallet. I'll tell you but I'll tell you's the interesting one for me I don't know if he goes if Brendan stays about how the telly goes last day that transfer window on loan. Yeah, yeah Yeah, I mean No, he'll go along for three season. He's basically Until we to we get rid of it three so-called forwards should go. Yeah You know, I did quotation That was really good podcast Well, it does man because you're looking at people who could potentially accrue some more money for to make the pot bigger So we can get more depressed a bit the players that we are It's all about quite how much we can piss up the wall. Yes Everyone's scared don't get the mom money People are saying that right and they're fucking serious and they may have a point. Yeah, that's the worry Yeah, that is yeah, they don't wanna have a point They don't have a point that we could badly spend the whole load of money again. Of course they fucking do No matter what we spend no matter how much money we spend let me tell you no matter how much money we spend this summer 50% of it is going to be shite because that's the same for every club Most transfer windows and we just get ourselves wound up about it. It's ridiculous, right? We're gonna spend shite. That's what happens all clubs do we've gone mental Like no all clubs do it we we as a fan base are starting to believe every single story every story Yeah, every story comes out of it for me. Yeah, there's isn't it Joey Gomez Coving chit chit chit chit chit chit, but all the all the lads all the media plaids we believe But I was Ben Smith just a link to Ben home imagine if you got Ben's man. No, it's not gonna happen I'm getting an I believe in Joe Gomez t-shirt the reality is that We need to need a striker. So whoever that's gonna be and Disturling money money means that we shouldn't have to do too much in terms of outs in the squad after that You know and I don't think he's gonna want to do too much They're not gonna sell love run because that's just stupid and that is a Business wanker, you know logic, but he costs 20 million He's been here for a year which means he's got at least 15 million pound left on the books that he's gonna have to be covered offer So we're not gonna set up for 15 million which means you're taking a loss Which mean you need to get into your pot already. It's stupid to do that. So we're not gonna sell love room We're not gonna sell Alana. We're not gonna sell Markovich, you know, because they're big money buys and we owe too much on them so It is then about the likes of Alan or Lucas Enrique will go a Lambert will go Berenia go, but I'll tell you go on loan. I keep forgetting Enrique is there. I know I know right Johnson sign for a new one. Yeah, I was still that danger Until you saw the contract was already out I'm taking a very glad let's pull out a tweet saying good luck and tanks and My favorite day that's gonna happen this summer is when the client deal falls through and we announced Mike Ariches and Glenn Johnson resigning on the same day And if you if you can get to Dublin that day guys, I'm gonna see Phil Casey Well, I'm starting going to see Timmy tactics and we get Michael Richard. It'll be a bit pissed off I actually have to score sports. Talk to them Through the television talk to him through the meeting with television So to go to the dance your thing Biggie answer it Who do you think is going in? Who's coming in anyone? Yeah, yeah, except coverage it doesn't exist. Yeah a big load of shit is getting sold And a bigger load of shit is getting signed that will be there somewhere in the nutshell a bigger load of expensive show You that's it and the reality is no matter who we sign no matter who we sign No more than one of the players we sign this summer will be in our top five players next season Because it never works out that way we think the summer we think the transfer window is gonna solve everything But no club tree where ever has it no club has the transfer window where it solves everything no club does that They didn't though Chelsea's best player was Eden has it last season Would you say you'd say you'd say Because I guess we're in the in the way the legal understand he saw a message as well in the January Yeah, but I'm not causing in summer window is it that's three players that he saw him last year two three in the In the summer window to cost her fabric. I said in a year. I didn't say in the year, but I did well Why you're saying? What year is it? Okay, so even if I accepted the Chelsea at a particularly strong window, how many other clubs did? Yeah The last topic that we want to chat about before we go to I'm such a pity if you didn't know it last night because the fit I could have had a good round to build the fixers It is I who I every it's it's one of the mama pictures, I think it's really well people just out on yeah We got a we've got bore with the way force game. Yeah, like that in the car by 12 An hour before they get it Sunday on the way I'm playing by my way. So no way and they're my chest you know at home There was other people it was like predicting it. Yeah, my prediction is that we'll have Yeah, I reckon we get it doesn't fucking matter So how do we think the faces are right? They're fixtures. Mm-hmm. I hear are you there? We play everyone twice no, but the matter thing is look at our four seven of us look at our four seven Oh, that's that's that's quite the topic look at the four seven away white the topic so well. Yeah, not ours But look it's it'll be what it is. It doesn't argue. You could you could argue it is you could argue here that here, right? You're better off getting those away. So you have all the hormones in the second half season. Mm-hmm. You could I always come good in the second half Sorry, I couldn't even finish that said you see the running. There's no waste on the land of catching us in that Is there a list of 10 fixtures that we could possibly get where you'd be confident that that's a major on a fixer exactly So like there is no run of 10 games and even if you get it Do you remember van Halds opening eight fixtures last year looked looked easy on paper and the struggle should I was a fixtures? So like you know, it's all People look at look at the one in Once irrelevant we could have we even after the season we had if we'd won our last five games We would have finished up for of course so the last 10 games are the only things that matter the rest of the fucking seasons Madan I mean if someone gave you like anything says we pick your ideal pictures for me anyway You'd always pick to start the lake handy to hopefully regardless of what fix is common then it gives you momentum Yeah, that's the way it always look at it. Yeah, but if your shit did the start. Yeah, it means you've not missed your opportunity Yeah, look your smart fancy being shit against good teams that will then shape ones. If you're not for Liverpool, maybe not Yeah, but is it just me or do the fixtures not just look the same every year? We always seem to play Arsenal's right star season. We always seem to play. You know, it's what it started to say We always start against stokes on the London so damn that's it's always an ace like West Brahms That was the was the was the random one found in there recently I suppose I suppose the relevance of the difficult away fixtures are as people are extrapolating and they're starting to think well Pressure on Brenner, which what's cops first game? It's all going back to the one topic that everyone's upset even for the Derby Like we have three four questions came in and that was the gist of what what do these fixtures now do to Brenner's chances of keeping this job? That's just do nothing results do everything. Oh That's Spontaneous injury Snakes in a bunker That's a good that's a good quote right there, but regardless of what the fixtures have been he needs Ten good games, right? I mean, he's got a commander the first ten years go come out flying it has to do something that he's never done We'll just start the season really strongly in and win most win games. Yeah, yeah for and or that they all are for him now I don't even buy it through most win games. You just need the only pressure if you look at the four twelve games And you win six of the fours to have and draw two That'll be a very strong sector fan base was really gonna get annoyed later. We know that's where I'm going. We're right No, he's gonna be he's gonna be on the edge if you lose his fall out of 12 There's no way the fan base takes four losses in first 12 games, and that's so possible Force 12 games take you to what at the end of November because you've got Europa You've got League hope you've got international breaks and there's love Phil and you'll be an anyone the league, right? I think we lost three games up until November and there was people then saying for these he's under pressure it's only when we went then and You know put that run together But there was a load of draws if he if he starts off if he takes if the fourth three go to the fourth three in the year We went well in the league was one two and drew one and then you get another two or three wins and the bounce the pressure will suddenly be Well, we won three and a bounce didn't we that year? Yeah, and then so that kind of said everything up nine or nine and then Danny storage One little games you need something like that. He needs like I think he needs three wins on a draw in the first four games Pressure comes off him, but saying that I think a lot of it's still gonna be determined But what happens this summer? I mean if we go into that first game and I gave him a fucking pissed off You know where I'm signed to anyone or there's been no statement from the club I'm a back in the manager and it feels like he's in this it could be poisonous It really could be like you know and then if we lose the first game the fact is it doesn't matter really I get a lot of people are made up their mind and if he won 12 the first 12 and the bounce I lost the 13 I think I think the first kind of patch that he hits like the it's just gonna it's gonna be overwhelming We will have seen I think like this before it's it's almost it's almost worse than what with Haji Because well Haji was unified hatred, but there's this strong pocket of fucking rage towards Rogers I think this is gonna be if it goes badly for him It'll be when the Kenny Schultz started with Hodgson there So Hodgson kind of had this underlying current for a long long time But it took a long time before some before the Kenny Schultz started in the stand And I tell you if Klopp is still on the market or as is likely to happen, but he does get sacked by October There will be a lot of people calling for Rogers if he has a bad start But a pause rate even if he wins 10 out of 10 Everyone's just gonna be sitting there waiting for the 11th one What he draws and he goes he fucking tried to fall apart now see Every day these people sat out with title challenge that would be funny Yeah, so to wrap it up then to quote then PKC fixtures don't matter results matter That's good, I'm using that Isn't that that's good, okay Right, let's start the deliberately non football section A weighted question that is basically nice and vaguely related to football And it's what are you doing to distract yourself from football at the moment And how's that working out for you? What kind of things are we doing to keep our minds off Fuddy? I've just been looking at you know the E3 like PlayStation games coming out And you know pretending that we haven't signed Vogue then it's been great Shut up, shut up game game Oh, we've got a question for him, don't we? John Snow is dead Check that out, yeah And you haven't seen Game of Thrones, so was Stanis Parabian I'm fucking the nearest his trapper to the right I'm like absolutely great I actually feel a question for you What's the best way to ruin the end of Game of Thrones for your mates? What was the best way to do that? Just drop a casually into the what's up and say it Yeah, I watch the ripples go off Yeah, yeah But people go mad over spoilers Oh man And it's like it changes Like slept with their wife or something It's like oh my god, there's people fighting Game of Thrones spoilers on my time Like what? So uh, don't worry about it Do you know, you know, the last is books Yeah And these books that have been written for 14 years Yeah Like the book was written 14 years ago That the one where Jon Snow dies What's the worst thing you think it could be called If you did indeed tell someone the end of Game of Thrones while they were watching Game of Thrones I don't know, spoiler wanker Spoiler wanker I think it got worse than that though I think it got a little bit worse than that It's not fucking contours like on that Yeah It's not even funny I mean for those who don't know, we have a what's up thread for the The people who do the trip as in Phil just dropped it in Jon Snow is dead And literally all the other guys on this ride just went Fucking meant a lot Quite a few Quite a few If you were sitting down to watch it It's fun being thinking it might be something funny And Phil gave the fucking end of the night That's what it was Or you just made a spoiler wanker, what made it what it meant It was this kind of running gag between you know, a group of us that like if you saw a film You just, you know, you'd put it on Facebook straight away You could both see it today, it happened And then you know the dark night rises Yeah We booked the tickets for like half of the time Five in the morning show We went to that I took a picture of him, you know, it was the end credits were rolling In the description of the picture, you know, spoiled the whole film Like the twist and the way Who your razz out goes to Harvard And then it tagged about 100 people Fucked off, went to bed And woke up before I was like, it's over 24 years now For guys, you wanker What would you do? Why would you do that? The next one is from Martin Martin wonders How good are your Irish dancing skills Soon as we keep bringing up Michael Flattlier And would you ever perform live on Periscope if you were I don't have the real form live on Periscope We're a bit confined here On our very last day trippers We'll do Riverdance I love the way you do Riverdance out the floor You do it, try not to love your volunteer Trev, you do it today You can do Irish dancing Formal, can I fuck now? Come on, you're from the country I was the only guy from the country Who was not either an altar boy Or did Irish dancing, I did nothing Because you're the flasher in the backyard That did sort of fucking level me earlier Yeah, yeah, yeah Could you play like the tin whistle? Nothing A lot of go, man A lot of go, man Nothing Nothing Nothing Nothing My son reckons he can't hear his sons Like, oh, it's pathetic, really, it's like He looks like he's having a nap And I better have to prepare something like that Yeah, but Irish dancing And you know people kind of laugh Go, oh, yeah, then you're kind of No, no, no, he's not joking He's serious He thinks that's how Irish dancing is Don't make a whole day Six Oh, yeah And Irish dancing Right, you look, you straighten this amount And we throw a few shapes in the dance floor Yeah, yeah, throw a few shapes in the dance floor Would you like a god? You'd have a dance, would you? Oh, Irish dancing Now, forget it Oh, would you? On the end of the day On the end of the day It was all about now You just go around with it Around roller loying Yeah, yeah, yeah Break dancing Break dancing Break dancing It was electric building It was fucking great Body popping Oh, it'd be funny Yeah, it would be This did actually happen Oh, like Andy, he was bullshit now No, no, no, most definitely I was, yeah, I'm right, is that it? You were in part of a fucking dance crew as well, were you? Down the end of the day Of course, yeah And here we were We were going to where? The central bank in town Before they had the rail in there Because it was this I surely not You went to the middle of Dublin To show you Oh, no, no, well You'd go in and watch the good people Okay, okay, okay, okay Back on to the epilepsy That was really good So you came out down the heads Head's been down the step No, I think he's following My tongue thinks he's freaking dancing I think he's just following Why did tap dancing again? What'd you do? Tap dancing Oh, fucking yes Ah, yes, brilliant So you had shoes, you had the tap shoes, everything Oh, that's brilliant Oh my god What kind of music was tap dancing today? Fucking tap dancing music Tap dancing music Ginger, Roger, shit, and stuff No, we have to get a kick start The thing going when If we raise enough money Filled on top that That would be fucking brilliant Jesus, I'd love to see that Me and flatly though You flatly I want to go out playing the music Steady, I want to go out He keeps the guys coming up Next question's from the Red Lock And he's asking about the pod picture From last week And he's wondering who we think Made the best looking lass From the trip through now Dave, you never answered me I asked you to send me a picture of your mouth Just to see if you're not thinking about that Well, it wasn't you, Dave The next one, Paul, is asking us What would be your ultimate festival line up? What band would you just love to say in a festival? If you're into your music Festivals are for wankers Big, giant, well, hang on Music in general, I'll show you, okay? Oh, yeah, I forgot that That's wrong, won't you? Like any band in history Like at their prime or just like any band now No, it's just a general one Music shit, live music is worse Music is shit Live music At a festival Paul Brown music is shit Music shit Okay I need to be in with coffee Peanuts and chocolate Hot food Hot food, coffee Oh, I like, I like some hot food What's that? Is that just shit? It's like a death cake of all those All that shite in the occasion And it's like live music And then it's just these people like Swigging cans Go, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, it's great And they're like, oh, yeah, what song is it about? Can't remember, it's not your face, honey And then it's the same The same 70 pictures on Facebook That they put up with it It's like an album of 70 pictures And it's the same three cunts Holding the same three cans up Going in front of the same stage The rest of them are for wankers Yeah, right back to, back to There's something that I know you do Like Neo Geo asks Since you're our cigar fans If you could remake one movie And have Steven Seagal play the lead What movie would it be? So you remake one movie You insert Steven Seagal as the lead Any movie Any movie, what would it be? I'd have him playin' out But it wouldn't be the lead I'd have him playin' Governor Norton In Shawshank Redemption You know, something real seriously Where he has to try and hold it together And it doesn't kill anyone No, no, no, no, yeah So it's just Seagal in a serious role I think it'll be great It's a goer He's range He's range Yeah I'd have him replacein' Mel Gibson in Braveheart He wouldn't even need anyone That's what I mean Eacher said right ago Please tell us now lads Just walk out and self care of this After you killed everyone in China Killin' everyone in Scotland It's gonna be noisy That would be no problem Like, you know And you wouldn't have to wear a kilt 'Cause you only get film from the way it's done You know, so Definitely Braveheart Yeah Alright, any other sets? Alright It's hard to be perfection-like Yeah, now I'm in the black shape here It wasn't Seagal, fam No, no, lookin' weirdo Arnie, Arnie Annie was, Annie was, Annie was my man I can relate Annie is fuckin' brilliant If he inserts Seagal into any action movie That's made without Seagal It ends fairly quickly 'Cause he just kills everyone Yeah Yeah He just, I'll put him in an action Put Seagal into equalizer Instead of Denzer Washington He was trying to place Seagal into equalizer And just make the film that they always want To make in the force place I see, so it's substandard Because it doesn't have Seagal Yeah, well, just Seagal Movie without Seagal That's how it will Yeah That's how you'd roll Mmm Okay Next one is from Tom Tom says Oh, Michael Collins Can you change the face of Irish history? I was gonna say Seagal is Collins You do realize we're fucked about, don't you? Seagal in Long walk to freedom There's a man down Seagal, Stephen Seagal is Richard Nixon Like, is it actually, in all seriousness There's no movie that Stephen Seagal wouldn't make better There is, surely No, there isn't Like, I'm trying to think of one Like, you know, if he, I said this before the part started If he played the Robert De Niro part in Heat That would be a better movie The last temptation Oh, for fucks sake The last temptation of Christ He wouldn't have had to spend for it today in the desert If he were- Deviled dead Sword of lights back Back in 12 minutes Was this- No, we were left in the planet Three days to get resurrected Bollocks, I'll do it in two Fuck that Come here, Mary, I'm still in dope but we'll do a short day Yeah, I'm not carrying the grass [laughter] What was that? Reminds me, me out there telling me about- There's an outlet, an ex-army fellow drinks with me that opened the heart and I'm like, um You haven't been- The day drinkers bring me out for 70-70 hours, right? But you've got us up there and pulled every day A couple of- Two or three points Outflow that you drink, so it no-so-in For three or four days And me outflow went up one of the evenings And- Charlie was up there a little bit Says, where have you been? I'm saying you're- Oh, we've got no-so-in. He says, "One day's tablets from your heart Couldn't- Couldn't- Couldn't- Couldn't go out On tablets I'd hate that you couldn't go outto it You ripped him to tablets from his jacket You know the- The directions on the back was- He says, "Keep air with direct sunlight, you can't amend him" [laughter] I swear to god, this was in the waffle, I swear [laughter] Oh, that was fucking right It was only a little bit of a point in the end The choice is time to go out with your date [laughter] Briefest of admins to finish As ever, we want to thank Astro Park for hosting us You should check them out at astropark.ie Your date trip is tonight where Ray Brady, Paul Brennan, Dave Thomas, Phil Casey, and myself, Trev Downey He's like, "Ahh, just me and Blackie, yeah, me and Blackie" [laughter] "Your talk is coming up the door" [laughter] "Oh, it's a fucking funny disease" [laughter] Now is the chance to use reliable energy to grow your money with the Dominion Energy Reliability Investment Our new investment product offers competitive returns, no maintenance fees, and flexible online access to your money Make the reliable investment in reliable energy The Dominion Energy Reliability Investment To find out more, go online to reliabilityinvestment.com That's reliabilityinvestment.com Hey, don't forget that Johnsons are coming over I want to find a rosé, Jill hasn't tried yet Let's go exploring a total wine Their prices are ridiculously low Wonderous selection, helpful guides, always low prices Total wine and more This podcast is part of the Sports Social Podcast Network Your child's first step is a big step towards their future With first step by College Invest Every Colorado child born or adopted on or after January 1st, 2020 will receive a free $115 contribution to their College Invest College savings account Plus, we'll match a percentage of your contributions in the coming years, helping you save even more Enroll today and start your child off on the right foot Visit ColoradoFirstStep.org to get started and claim your $115 now
