So where do we even start? Molly, this is beautiful madness to watch, isn't it? It really is fantastic to where we're playing this season Not to study the player Just a general swagger that we have above us going out in that pitch It always looked like we're gonna score every game I think the last time we didn't score in a league was against Arsenal. When was that back in November sometime? Yeah, we're just so confident. We don't know that pitch. It's fantastic to see us play it as well Does the craziness of it appeal to you molly or are you like me and it's actually slowly killing you? Well, I wouldn't say peas are killing me. I'm actually kind of got used to it this day. Really. Yeah. Yeah When I was watching the Cardiff game in the weekend and when they scored If that was previous seasons, I've gone. Ah, here we go again, and I can't believe it has got me one He does days, but now it's gonna go. Yeah, not to worry. We're going to score another three or four. Who cares? So I'm actually going to use through this stitch. Yeah Good are about it. I think both. Well, yeah fair enough James Lance. What do you think madness is it is it is an appealing thing at the moment, or? I mean, I'll echo what Molly said really because I'm just kind of used to it now and the thing with Saturday was You know, the madness was confined to the first half and my feeling was always we've had a ropey start here, but there's you know, there's time for us to turn it around. We were very much the same way for them, you know, another relegation threat and team and I always felt look for within a goal at half time. I'm confident we'll do enough setting after when we'll get a group of ourselves out of time We'll go out. We'll do enough to win the game because we leveled it just before setting off I was very confident, you know, and setting half to be honest. I thought it was really annoying to concede that third goal because it was very sloppy You know, I thought setting off it was a relegation photo. I know but it was I thought we were outstanding, you know, yeah, yeah, and Dave Thomas What do you think is this is this something you're enjoying fella and the madness of it? Well enjoying is probably a little strong, but you know what? We're in the business in the season though Yeah, enjoyment goes out the window a little bit, you know, it's time for for us to turn up the players to turn up the manager to turn up And that's what we're doing. I think the definition of madness is doing the same thing over and over again expecting the same results Yeah, well, we're getting the same results. That's very clever. I can be beautiful by you there friends Paul Brown what you think and are you enjoying this map? Well, I I rather the kind of clean sheets against you know, it's a ham thing to be honest like I'm Like I've spoken about the kind of profound effect their Hodge of vacation I've ever felt had over the past kind of couple of years on it Yeah, and like I do I get wound up when I see us, you know, conceding those batshit goals against Cardiff But yeah, I enjoy an obviously the attacking bit, but if we could keep a few You want to grab your facial time to pop? Phil Casey is a man who's Sorry permanently unhinged himself. Are you enjoying the craziness of this? I have to say this to me is my favorite season I can remember since 87 88 Nothing has ever compared to this when we go Everyone goes back to Rafa and you know the wonderful 08 09 the whole lot right the force half of that 08 or 9 season Wasn't always great to watch Rafa's teams weren't always great to watch when we were playing But this is just this is mental. This is this what football is all about. This is like it's like the other idea I sports team and taking it to its next level taking like, you know, there isn't a loser mentality in this team They're just outscoring it. They're just they don't give a shit really like I'm we're saying a couple weeks ago No, how do you think you play and it's got to the point where who cares once we win the game and Saturday was just such a it was a match just about winning the game Our first half was more let's be honest about it, right? We went in to all it was fantastic to get in at two all and then we were even thinking that the madness of this team Is we can play badly for 24 minutes? Then come back with an equalize and still be thinking yourself going in maybe you can get a tour here before half time I cannot remember the team since 87 88 that that has that power and scarring trash And that this team has and it's phenomenal and it's it's it's a joy to torn on and shit yourself basically for 90 minutes not known I remember taking myself is this gonna end up like whole from the fourth half of the season when we went to one down But no, they learned that lesson that they seem to have grown since that to grow the measure But I've never seen a team grow so much in 18 months as this team has well I turn over and underwear and not what's standing. Are you generally saying that since 87 88 sponsored by team But you haven't you haven't enjoyed a team as much. I'd certainly say 1990 for me Maybe I don't know if I go back as far as that but no, I don't think there's been a joyous Can you love them at mid-90s? No, I did love to mid-90s But they are always they are always doomed to failure because half richer the season something stupid would happen I have a bad spell or something like that, right? And I haven't footballed football on sides We're fantastic to watch but this for me is just again. It's it's a step up again It's it's something different. We're challenging for a lead title here when we were wanted to challenge for champions The ego when we go back to our earliest episodes and we're saying like if you get within six points of four That's gonna be a good season fucking hell We could be a point off top with seven games to play come towards the night No, you know, we get out before this is just this is carefree football at its most pleasant That's a factor in being a bit more relaxed about it those because we're already performing well beyond our expectations and in our own minds I think all those feel Relatively like we'd have to drop the ball massively now to not end up in the top four I mean, it's sort of thing today We're like 99.75% on with these kind of like Predictive models. Do you think that's part of it is the fact that this this sort of Title challenge feels like a very lucrative bonus, but I mean the I mean the other thing I think it's interesting about this picking up on what you said just a quick point a lot of us kind of not scoffed at Rogers But kind of thought well What's he thinking now when he said 12 months ago to a team that scored a good number of goals by the end of the season? He wanted to add 20 goals to it And he made a big point of saying that on Saturday and he's been proved right because the firepower of this team It's really he's propelled us to where we are. He knows he's yeah I think it has a lot to do to I have to think For all of Rogers's credit that he deserves he realized that well, maybe he hasn't realized it But he's not the best defensive managers as we know from the way teams play against right? So if you're not going to be the best defensive manager be the best attacker manager I everyone keeps comparing them to a Spanish style manager I see him more in a German style in terms of the way club play had his Dortmund team playing two years ago when they were at the At the peak of the first they're just vicious into in the terms of the way they break and attack and just kill you And it probably could play possession football or they could play rootless counter attack and football They had more in their armory than say Barca had who played the repair played a certain style And quite always trying to develop that type of style at the time I want to look at Roger's team I see more similarities with the German that German club side of two years ago than say with a Barcelona team because it's ruthless Dave you know come on well the point of the add in the 20 goals. I think is a is a really important one I mean Rogers has managed 68 Premier League games Liverpool and we've got a hundred and fifty four goals. Yeah, I mean That's where I'm at about to consider and he had what most people would term a poor first season Yeah, I mean so a hundred and fifty four goals and sixty eight games, you know, that is just Why don't we don't need a defense? Let's just buy If someone told you like at the start of the season that you're gonna go to Cardiff and the defense is gonna have a nightmare And we're gonna concede three goals. You'd write it off. You'd say we've we've had a liquid our arse Came out of us and we've lost three one or something Yeah, but six three is just a like that's just mental. It's unbelievable. Yeah, and and I think we can all Get behind that kind of mentalist and Molly. Let's start looking at the team itself and I'm gonna go to you for us to talk about the full-backs Glenn and Mad John How did you feel the two? Fullbacks worked for us on the day I touch it Glenn Johnson did okay. You know he can resist defensively. He was solid enough Especially considering Bellamy in his ear for most again. Yeah, I was pretty impressed with him I know myself and Phil had been there and up and down with Johnson the couple of weeks ago But I have to be honest between the carrot of game and and last week against Shire. I thought he's being He's been pretty good. He has been so powerful He's definitely been he's ever he has improved to what he has been in the past few weeks. I'm sorry Planning and look he has me. He wasn't great. He's kind of fuzzy. He wasn't up. He's usual self But I think just had enough day. I wouldn't really worry about it our players coach would have ever known again Yeah, he had enough day, but I'm sure coming next can be back to usual self Yeah, fair enough and Dave Thomas. Would you think that's fair enough not fun against best day? But overall the tune did okay. Yeah, I mean, I thought I was much better than more. He's given a credit for actually I thought Outside of the front two he was probably our best player I thought that he You know, he showed how important a good fallback is to Roger's side Yeah, you know, if you you know, if you go to a we were talking about it You know, if you go to a team that's gonna set up to sit back You go to options you play a player like Coutinho was gonna, you know, thread a little pass through the lines Or you've got to play wide and we don't play with wingers So that has to be Johnson And I think if you if you actually watch the game back the the amount of times he carried the ball forward his range of passing was phenomenal I mean, I actually think why do you might have want to go one official assist? I mean, he plays to sorry the the ball for the fifth goal, but there's left foot That Suarez takes wider lays on for storage. I mean if Jared played that ball, we'd all be talking about it for months Yeah, do you know what annoyed me about Johnson? I'm sorry. I thought he was saying well. I thought he was having What they didn't know about Johnson and Saturday was he had a phenomenal game and then That toward goal like he has to cover scared scary. It goes a wall Right Kevin Jones comes on and the diagram right and he all the other Johnson's just pull out the back of scared Johnson is looking at that Developing from them and he doesn't react to John even if he just gets into to put Kevin Jones on so he can't nod the ball down As easy as he did it might still happen, but at least you think the Johnson's do that is the only glitch on another Perfect day from Glenn Johnson. Yeah, I wouldn't even have it now that he was phenomenal or perfect in any way shape or form But I agree with you that that was terrible and I Is a slow journey back for for me and what about Flanagan and Paul how you know We've kind of skirted over him there. What did you think? Yeah, he was a bit shaky the second goal I think he made a terrible decision kind of moving out wide and leave and Campbell in like he I thought I don't think I got covered myself. It's gonna say yeah, but I think I got like he was exposed for what it's what what it was worth Like kind of I think was an awful decision from Flanagan and then Flanagan and Alan I think they chased back for their third goal And they they just had like it was a kind of bog standard to fall back around around and the two of them stood there And we ended up with an uncontested cross uncontested doc down and uncontested finish. What's this? Oh, yes, yeah You gotta put you got I'm in there No, I just wanted to get this is all good point things I know full of the big Suzuki fan cuz he stopped process. Well, I had a big smile in the face when he came on It was just it was great to see the back of the kids You got you got to be respected with Flanagan though Because I mean we watched the game with Thor and Saturday and we talked about this he didn't have a great game He didn't have a great game asked on the cup But I mean how many other times can you think are worries not been impressive? There's not been many which is great credit to him because you know He didn't even know I've been a Liverpool player if you go back six or seven months Well James we stay with you for a minute and let's move on from the from the full box to the center half pairing I go in Squirtle at times imperius at times just prepastrous It's it's a bit of a jack on high chill with them Scotland seemed to be Wonderful and was wonderful in the opposition handybox Agar classy in possession one minute caught horribly out of position the next minute. It's a bit bad shit, isn't it? Um, I think particularly with Skirtle were long since past the point of there being any you know And he kind of point whatsoever in analyzing it under baiting it the guy's just very hot and cold He's such a strange player. I mean even if you look at his goal record for Liverpool You go back for his first three and a half years at the club He was absolutely hopeless in the box whenever anything, you know attacking the ball or anything that dropped to him to feed in the box He was useless since then he's become really good and again He scored two goals and started in the finish for his first goal for our equalizer. It's fantastic You know on the stretch with this week of thought, you know, it's a strike is finished and You know, we again It's another thing we talked about before you can actually think of a good number of games this season with Skirtle as erratic as he is You can think of a good number of games where he has been really really impressive and it tends to just revolve around doing very basic Reactive defensive things clearances blocks tackles And there wasn't much of that on Saturday because it wasn't that kind of game. I mean we would I mean it wasn't surprised when Roger said after the game we were too deep early on and You know, I think for me moving on to agro think I was culpable in that for the second goal because I think why he's not pushed up more aggressively on And I think Sacco would in that situation he's a more aggressive player would push up tighter on Campbell Not allow Campbell to turn and get the run at him And I think that's what it results from because why he's done that when I think there's only Bellamy between Skirtle and Johnson So they're two two against one why he's not being more proactive and pushing up there You know when you can see that Gerald whether he's got the shot from Gerald or not that he's handed him over Push up because don't let him get don't let him turn on you So that I thought that was poor from agro for the garden again the last goal is stupid I mean, it's it's poor from Skirtle and it's it's not good from Johnson It's not great that the cross comes in but I mean it's an uncontested header Which is a blight on what was a very good signal. Yeah. Yeah, Dave Thomas. He said something interesting to me earlier on about Martin Skirtle being a kind of an instinctive player in the turn in the way that he operates Yeah, well, I think there's no rhyme or reason with him to be honest with you I think he does what he thinks is the right thing to do That's gonna look great sometimes So, you know, he makes a covering tackle or he attacks the box or he attacks the ball or you know He does something and it'll look phenomenal the flip side of that is he'll do something instinctive like like he did against Fulham Which is try his his kick for the eyes from his own goal and that's ridiculous So, you know, he goes from the supply to the ridiculous, but I kind of feel like that's okay That's who he is. You know, that's okay I have I have a much bigger problem with Daniel Agar and for me that that Cardiff should have been should be Daniel Agar's last game for Liverpool As far as I'm concerned. That's a big show Well, I mean For me, he is at least partially at fault for all three goals. Yeah, he looked disinterested for a lot of the game And I just I'm struggling to see what he brings to this team, right? We're not a side that struggles moving the ball from back to front. So the fact that he's good with the ball It's you know, it's nullified really because we have players all around him Jared's usually the deepest player So he's not physical. He's not quick. He's not good tactically. He doesn't win headers. He's not good man to man He's not good at set pieces. He doesn't score So he doesn't talk other players through the game So when you got psycho on the bench and psycho I think should start on Wednesday. I know we'll talk about that For me, what what does Agar bring if someone I can't think of a compelling reason why Daniel Agar is a star They send the back for us. Paul Brown. Can you offer a case for the defense of Daniel Agar? Well, not really from that game because like Dave said, he's like now if he wasn't directly hoping for the goals, he was involved kind of in all the like, you know, the first goal It was thick. He really kind of reacted a bit quicker The second goal he was involved in that kind of triangle of players like himself Flanagan and Jared Who didn't pick up Campbell and the tour goal as well like the uncontested finish like he was nowhere for that So like well, yeah, you really do think sack or shoot come in Can I play devil's advocate and just say that there is and I'm individually I never understand what it might be with Agar because he's so often just found a bit wanting individually defensive You think you know, it's not calamitous things But it's just not good enough and there's a big pattern of it with Agar going back a long time now and I agree with everything that Dave said but playing devil's advocate He there is a correlation between Agar and clean sheets. We've not had many this season, but he's played in most of those There's probably debate to be hard as to where perhaps not now because there's a more to talk about but There's What might that arise from what you know, is there any is there actually a correlation there? Is it complete fluke that Agar does sort of correspond with clean sheets? Is he good? Is he actually a good talk or something, you know, don't know I think it's not a fluke that he's there for most of the clean sheets I tell you know, you can tell from some defenders don't necessarily bring the best game to the table What if they're organized into defense and I remember Andy was on here when he was at one of the games He was at and he said for the whole game I think was Agar's comeback game after injury and he said Agar was the one that was talking to the whole defense And getting it set up and and the whole act even more so to manipulate and he was the voice that was at the back so when he What he defensively might be doing as well as we want them to do if he's if he's getting everyone into where they should be and Organizing that defense more than any of the other center halves that we have then, you know That's why the correlation between him and and then she's probably there the one thing that annoyed me about Agar and Scaritlan on Saturday and I thought it was very much a The difference between force and second half was comes back to what we touched on and especially in the lead-up to the second go They were very deep They're very deep against one striker and the gap between themselves and the mid-field Because the midfield ended look like it was functioning well at all the gap between himself and Gerard was was huge it was about 10 15 yards between them and That didn't help Gerard because Gerard looked very important for us half as well Alan and Henderson was struggling to get into the game the fourth half bar say a 10 15 minutes bail where we got the goals The second half were much more compact and we've played well whenever we've been compact as a team The same thing happened against full on the same thing happened against West Brom when we didn't play particularly well And then when we did have the spell where we played well We played compact as an actual team. Well look we'll come on to the midfield and compactness in the overall team in a few minutes But we'll finish out with yourself Molly. I know you're a scarlet fan Would you say there's a good show for psycho coming in? instead of Agar All you personally would have soccer win in instead of Agar would have having to say that you know you were right Most times we had a clean sheet Agar's being there and the fact that it's not experience that he brings The fact that himself and Skirtle had a partnership here to be paid here for that three years and Clossy he's a topper so maybe it's no coincidence that John Flynn experienced a win because he's Agar beside him It's a co beside him. Maybe finals game wouldn't be as good as it is at the moment. Yeah, you know It's a hard one call because I'm a big fan of Psycho and I would like to see himself and Skirtle put a partnership in there Just to see what we like because I reckon they play for a little full part together this season But for now because in the season's coming we've so much to play for I think we should just stick with Agar and Skirtle. Yeah maintain the status quo. Well, okay Let's let's let's move it on to the to the midfield and the three players there were pretty much lauded for their second half Displaying rightly so but it's fair to say there were a wee bit choice in the first half in the tactical sense at least We had Henderson's balls through to Johnson Which was just beautiful and at least probably one triple Toronto's Mickey is at the television as a result But then Alan John took a while to get to grips with the game Jared was although I think eventually ended up with very good stats started off very lax in possession So a check on high performance here as well How do we feel they went overall as a trio Phil? And I'll go more so of a force them as opposed to a trio because I think we're gonna find that diamond You can't look at that the diamond without an ignore the actual tip I just thought again I think it was a symptom of it over center backs being very deep And Gerard playing in the position where he's been playing the last couple of games leaving that gap in the space for characters to exploit which they did to their credits and Then the second half you can see a difference because Gerard is almost aligned to Agar most of the time and they're about 15 Arts higher up the pitch they're not in their own box and not in the edge of the area They're nicking the ball and they're pushing on really quickly. They've most of possession and as a trio it's hard to it's hard to remember how how Lacks the first half was considering how good the second half was It's like you're working off the basis that your your main focus and your memory comes off all the goals The four goals we scored in the second half and how dominant their midfield was at that stage We you know, it's so many men's place passes. Yeah, there was and simple passes I mean, you're talking five ten yard buzz that were going out of play that weren't going to go into fees the whole lot And it's it's a credit that we managed to get two goals in the fourth half as we did be and from an extremely good moves as well They weren't just poor moves. They were like really good football and meals. It was like We were a bit off It was really a case that we were having an off day in the fourth half and occasionally we broke into the way We've been playing for the last couple of weeks and then the second half From a Rolikin or from just you know, you can't be as bad the fourth half again that the lads picked it up And they went out again. So looking at I think Had we not come out with the win we could we would have examined this much more in greater detail But for me anyway, the the midfield ended up doing his job and as we said, it was immense through the second half so like I was For I know people who were sort of question Joellen and his force up for me I thought if defensively he did very very well in the fourth half and then he added back his passing in the whole lot in In the second half and brought it around a bit like Henderson wasn't he's not great with tournament with the ball but he improved again in the second half and Gerard got more into the game. So look it's one of those things it It ends up being in the men's performance because of what he did in the second half as opposed to what happened before Yeah, so you take it as an overall take it as a piece and Dave Thompson staff fair I know when I was coming at that question and kind of saw it was when I was on the field because I know we're gonna try to talk about Sterling Catino as you know, what do you do there type of thing? So as the fourth member of that diamond, but um, how did you feel the three guys specifically did? Yeah, you know, I agree with most of what Phil said I think two things happened early in the game which which kind of impacted our flow the first is the Jericho booked very early Yeah, and I think it rattled him. I think you could see his is reaction to that was that he was really frustrated And I think what that meant is that he tended not to press as much because he was worried about the second booking coming early Or you know a taught enough process So what that meant is that Alan and Henderson have to do more running and the second thing that happens Which I think really affects the rhythm is that Alan gives away that's what we passed which leads to the first goal So both of those things happen in the first 15 minutes the crowd get on Alan's back And I think you know he Sometimes when that happens in games he goes missing for 10 15 minutes Now you still did all the running he did the you know, he did the work He did and Phil's absolutely right came back into it And you know, Alan's a neat and tidy player. He's never gonna do anything too bad But I just thought down that left hand side between him Flanagan and Aga, you know, that's where Cardiff had all of the all of the Or their opportunities, and I think we're dared on the book in a minute He probably wasn't pressing or let's be honest kicking as often as he usually was playing in that deeper role So I thought you know from from like 27 minutes on I thought they were phenomenal Absolutely phenomenal. I think there was a period in the second half where I don't think Alice touched the ball for like Seven minutes or something like that I mean it was just absolutely phenomenal to watch and play and that was all through those three players Yeah, so they came into it They turned it around the final thing I'd say is I think it was inevitable There was going to be a slight intensity drop after the United game, you know I think the board's well for us is that intensity drop last 20 minutes. Yeah, not 90 minutes Yeah, so you know what if we if we have an intensity drop for 20 minutes But we're able to still see the game out by three clear goals then that's the sign of a very good side fair enough Let's move to the other member of that of the midfield for no matter what way it lines up Which is either Sterling or Catino James Owens no matter what brand does he's always gonna come in for a criticism certain quarters Catino maybe didn't do as much as you would expect our hope for mobile play, but it was set pieces were pretty brilliant. Um, and Rahim It's the stronger of the two from open play, but I've offers less than what comes to set picks is so It's likely to be rotation, isn't it? I think it is. Yeah And that's the option we've got now because we've you know We've got a system in which sterling is proved he can kind of he can play sort of at the head of a diamond Suddenly with other players come back from injury. We've got a bit of a bench again, which is no bad thing But I mean I think it's a difficult in terms of Catino It's it's a funny one to analyze because I mean I was you know talking to Phil again saying on Saturday I think you know steven brown was with us and we were saying too often both with the final pass and with With shoot and he tries to force it. It's like every time he gets the ball. He's either got a score or create and he's a I mean Catino is almost like skirt look at the other end of the pitch in a way because he's very inconsistent he can be brilliant or he can be very wasteful and You know play. Yeah, he was very wasteful But you know he's he's set up skills to goals basically and I think what's interesting about that is It's something I've noticed we we tended to leave Jared to be taking all of the corners previously But now we we kind of seem to take him on a rotational basis concert professor sat down and analyzed it, but yeah, that's We've got a few we've got a few players who you know who were taking the corners now, but I mean Sterling's a very good option to have as a player off the bench because you can bring him on both or something So you could give me something slightly different in attack in terms in terms of you know pushing forward through the middle With the ball a bit more than Catino What with a bit more threat because of his pace you might also bring him on because you'll just get it you'll get a Better defensive contribution because of its tenacity and when you've got a player you can bring on either because he's you know Offered something different in attack with no drop off in quality or because he offers a bit more celebrity To heck of an option to have so for sure and Paul Brennan is that like are we arse ready? Which of them starts when we've got two such good players to choose from well? That's basically the only kind of attack and depth we have like for a phrase like as good a season that we're having It is basically the only position where we have any attack and depth the lucky like as good a season as we're having like it makes it Even more amazing when you think that the team basically picks itself other than whether you're going to start staring or continue We have both Suarez and storage app as well. Yeah, so yeah, it is a nice option to have because it's basically the only attacking option We have do you have an inclination one way or the other just probably move away from that I I kind of I think yeah, well Sterling I think is more consistent But it like again like he's brilliant off the bench as well So yeah, it is a kind of a case of it You're not really arse really because you can just bring one of them on so yeah I it's probably is likely to be impact right him from now on I'd imagine but Our attack moly Louis Suarez. I've got a lower stuff written down here I'm not even gonna bother me bollocks rate and reading it because bottom line is how can you even evaluate that man? It's he is on a different level to everybody else at the moment And it's just we are the luckiest little boys going to be able to watch him, aren't we? I said a couple weeks ago when Peter McDowell was on with us that I think Suarez is Probably the best player in the world right now And I think he's just going to prove that each week. He just seems to be getting better and better and better at one stage I think we were was it five three up and a Ball went out to the corner flag and he ran after it he brought it into the box He was still looking the score was like eighty four eighty five minutes left Yeah, some teams we got let keep it in the corner. That's not concealing it this accurate serves a couple of minutes to worry about But not him you just wanted to get in to get more and storages when stories been actually fantastic What I really like about this is that the way they did look for one another run the pitch He always looked is trying to set one order up to get that call and the so does one of them scores It's the other guy that's gone straight over the celebrate with him It looked like they read to get on on enough to pitch which is fantastic to see as well for sure Dave Thomas is it furthest? I mean look the guy is He's just relentless listening. He's a pest Yeah, I mean Suarez is like It's like Mike Tyson. I don't just mean the biting part of it What I mean is that he beats people before he gets on the pitch before he goes near them before he's got the ball Yeah, he's beat them that sixth goal He's beat the defender defender is already is all you know Suarez is nowhere near him the defender clears that ball take probably takes our chest hands It away, whatever if it's any other striker he heads up all away, but it's far as his beat up It's a signature goal like yeah, it's it's so funny. It's an actual signature. Oh, didn't he do the same against Oak? Yeah, he did it against Oak. Exactly. So my what I love about Suarez is I don't actually think he was great He's got a hat drink. You didn't think we'll score three goals, right? You score three goals. I don't think he's he's had much better games for this season He'll have much better games for us, but when you've got him up front The back four the back five or the back six or whatever that team is just can't relax And that's before you even think about that. We've got Daniel Sirridge who is Statistically the best drink and ever to pray for Liverpool. Yeah, so we should give Daniel storage a little bit of a mention here as well Whatever about the genius that is Suarez storages Really really at the top of his game as well as me and it could possibly get better Yeah It's frightening the potential that these two have it's truly frightening what these two can do If we're in a Champions League, well, when we're in the Champions League next year assume that we finished in the top three I'm talking about but let's just put in everything on the table that we finished up three after we went to League and Yeah, that's not true And these two boys could go on an absolute fucking rampage in Europe You could see all types because this team is set up in the way the German teams are set up to play in Europe as well so the start of play he doesn't have to go Brendan Rodgers doesn't have to go and Bring a new type of play into that team for Europe This team can play that way and get better at us because they've already played this way the better going to become The players that are brought into play into play in the system the better going home and to have those two leading the line It's a fucking frightening frightening prospect in front of his James said to me said storage is like a Fucking I don't like the same. Do I not get the same way in mind James he does this is done What was about to steal from me as I said it for a while they're kind of like Well, I mean for one thing. I mean Daniel Sturridge is the second best striker at the club. I mean just reflect on that for a second first of all But said for a while, you know Sturridge is sort of like Like a classically trained like Spanish guitarist or something, you know It just everything you just technically is flawless so neat and tidy, you know, he's got poisey's got balance this that the other So I was kind of got all that but he's like Jimmy Hendrix with like an upside down right under guitar played left-handed He's playing the words mouth. Yeah, yeah, and just like you know, just completely sell just a self-taught just scruffy genius You know I Know and the same story is just fucking damn sure The fucker he's gonna do what he wants Back to what no James spot on the storage is just he's every if you were to try build a striker and Say what you give them a better right folks. Yeah, that's about the only part that he needs to improve his game and have more Good it's finishing isn't so much exactly and it's just like he has everything you can head the ball He can torn. He's got pace. He's he's ruthless in this finishing He knows when to be in the box at the right time He always seems to be an option when one balls are breaking and he also has Incredible technical awareness that back heel for the goal for Suarez and second goal It's just already tastic. It's it's it's it's the type of thing like Henderson is bouncing up and down like a fucking spring chicken When he sees it. That's right when he goes off guys. I remember watching that time gone. How does he like? You're just laughing you can't do anything but laugh because the whole he basically towards a whole card of defense We're back here and outrageous back here. I think he did get a shout from Suarez. I think someone picked up on it I think it was a shout and I said that at the time Well what I tell you is on and I feel like I'm on a bit of a crusade on storage So I don't think he gets anywhere near the credit, but if Suarez had done the back heel for storage I mean we'd all be that's a fair point crazy. That's a fair point Because storage is not it. I hear all these people going to see me in it. Does he mean it? Did you hear the source? He meant yeah, you see the power you got out of it He didn't he fell over and just accident be back here You know he's going for a shot and he may send it like it because he's selfish about it as well But the other thing I'd say on storage is I think I said it last time I was on it If Louis Suarez didn't play for Liverpool Daniel's storage would be on the short list for player there Because he's done Yeah, you should be like I don't think he's going to be though because you you know when you see the list of people Don't think Suarez Thursday and has it Wayne Rooney's after the weekend Terry's gonna be on there. Yeah the usual shirt. Actually, that's a bit of a downbeat No, sorry as if you're lucky to be on it at this rate Media you'd want to pick your socks up a little bit Yeah, he's fucking about us Okay Let's move on then to our previews of the next two games which are Sunderland and Spurs We've got two games in seven days chance, which will either Shape the whether we win the league or not and an awful lot of us are still alone ourselves a dream That's a possibility on Wednesday against Sunderland that's a most win three points of policy in the point of Chelsea and we know then that If we match the results and we beat him out and feel that then we finish ahead of them Which puts us in a very strong position Stevie's on the brink of suspension. Do you risk him against Sunderland? What do you think Paul Brown? No, I'd rest them because obviously because it'll be more important to keep him for the Spurs game And it'll keep him fresh as well because that's that's one of the things that we have to watch with him now Is legs because I'm like he he did start kind of slugsley against Cardiff So yeah, I'd rest them against Sunderland protect protect them suspension wise and what's our anyone else? We were you for example helping like myself that he'd just do something really snidey for like in the last couple minutes At the weekend and get that Yeah But so you think you think we're awesome. Yeah, I'd say so. Yeah, bring the circus back and Molly. Would you be happy enough of that? No, I wouldn't rest him. I don't see the point of rest from like we've had no European full Polish here No, they haven't played a great amount of games really so it's not like he's going to be tired or anything like that But in relation to the yellow card, no I would be too worried about that even if he didn't get and are you're scared and you suspend it? We've only got spores after that City or Chelsea or you know it's poor. I'm sure no cuz can do a job again sports even he can do a job again sport. Oh, Jesus Worried about about I wouldn't I wouldn't rest him fair enough and to wrap up the opinion this James Owens Would you start or rest or what would you do around this yellow card issue? Well, I don't think Rogers will rest him. I think it's quite an unrogynous thing to do and you get the players five days off after We had that kind of thought when after we beat Southampton. We kind of a fortnight cleared it was 15 days I think you get the players five days off So I think is that achieved to this would just be big final push without having to think about rotating And I think from a suspension point of view I kind of agree with what Molly said there Look if we can go, you know be experts five-mill away with Lucas Allen and Henderson in midfield no reason why we can't do at home when we probably like feel so before we've grown as a team even since then And I think if you think about Gerald on nine bookings If the suspension doesn't come before I think the game where you think about that is West Hamaway before City City's the one where you really want him in there and you maybe rest him then because I think City is the last It's a second Sunday in April and that's the day we play City So if you were to get the tenth booking against City I would think you'll get it before then because he's in a terrible room for bookings sort of a hazard of the position, but you would maybe Take the hit have been being unavailable away. No, it's that's throwing a long way forward, but I wouldn't worry about it at this stage Maybe there's a fitness point with Gerald that there isn't with other players because he is you know pushing on 34 But I don't think he will rest him as to whether he would not be I wouldn't fret too much about the suspension because it is You know it's Tottenham that those three points have only got the same value as Sunderland And I worry about what we've got to meet the in front of us because Tottenham are in a relevant stores now So fair Dave the only part I'd say is we're eight games away from the title. Yeah, you're gonna have to tranquilize Jared to get him Not to play this is a good way. There's no way this guy isn't playing right. I mean look at him He's eight games away from the title. I think he'd do it on one leg So I think the suspension thing is a separate point actually I think if he if he gets booked in the next game he misses spurs so he's back for the final push I think it's only one game because he didn't get he didn't get a one match ban So look the book is gonna come you know, I don't think we can worry about that I don't think because you could rest him for this game and then he gets booked against spurs And he's missing the next game and all we just got to take what's next But the point is Jared right now is dragging this team to the title as much as far as it's when you what when you see the way He's talking the way he is on the pitch, you know the way he's playing You would have to strap him down not to get him on that pitch. I think it's even Envodges his head to rest him. Yeah. Yeah, Phil. We can't really take anything for granted Obviously the as Dave says the there are two separate questions They were in relation to Jared and while you play him a lot and if we consider him both most wins And we consider that spurs despite Timmy tactics have started to show a little bit of resilience and having got it They fucking got it, but they do have they have a win in them How do we plan for both games in terms of of rotation does rotation enter? Like I'm a believer in rotation and most top teams have to deal because they've got the Sunday Wednesday Sunday that type of role and this is one of the few times this season where we're where we're also doing a Sunday Wednesday Sunday and But the flip side is that we're on the run in so you only got eight games left And you want to throw everything you can the kitchen sink out of deal we can The intentionally weaken your side because you want to have a stronger side against spurs on Sunday Possibly the argument is probably be strong or not to and but I can see the logic and doing it in doing that And from if if we decided to play Lucas and bring sacco in to give him minutes on Wednesday And as we talked about leave Flanagan potentially out because saying right he might come into a slump But maybe just give him a little kick up the arse now gives us alcohol game here as well, and you don't weaken your side Substantially in terms of what you there you can even start sterling in that game as well and take continue out but I think if I continue purely because Coutinho isn't this isn't a quintessential home player as we've seen from the games that he's excelled in this season and You could even play sterling Coutinho Henderson and Alan will have him to bring Lucas back in for the Sunderland match Listen Sunderland are going to be one of these teams who'll come and have absolutely nothing to lose going to Anfield They've probably chalked this off as a defeat mentally in their own heads, right? So if they get anything out of this game It's going to be a huge fill up for them in their running against relegation And it's one of their games in hand and the three points behind West Brom who was the obvious targeted it toward last There's a potential banana skin there and I think we need to focus on that as more We need to focus forced on so and then get the three points against on the land and it doesn't matter Fuck what happens with spores in in terms of common toward or at least you know what I mean if we pick off the Hubtree spots. We want to win. We need to win the two games. We want to finish top tree We need to win at least one of these games and potentially not draw points in the other game I want to win the league everyone around here wants to win the league, but I'm just saying it for this game It leans for me to throw out the eggs into the basket and in this one and then see what happens come out the back of it Yeah, fair enough. Paul Brown. Would you agree with that? I mean look the bottom line is we probably shouldn't be looking past the next game You got to win that it could all back for if you start looking long time. Come on. Oh It's still rest. Yeah Like even just he like he is pushing 34 like and I don't though I think he does struggle with kind of two games like consecutively So I'd rather kind of rest them early at least even try and get them off like trying try and get Lucas I'm sort of as well. Yeah, I Like I probably want to turn up in a flat. It is one of those games that you'd hope we'd kind of wrap up early enough And you could maybe use some substitutions kind of keep everyone as fresh as possible outside of the Jericho question Do you see much other rotation? Around the two games and not much really you could make there's a show for Sacco coming in at the back nothing Nothing much else for me Okay, okay. Well, so basically we're all just saying that we want to keep it very simple and keep it very similar If we look at the game that's directly in front of us We've got cospoi common and generally a believer in open decent football. So regardless of whatever lead position they're in there It's probably gonna be a half decent open game and Berenie can't play for them He has been pretty excellent. That's nice since he's gone there. What do we think that was? Yeah, I mean, I think we're Fortunate in terms of I think two of them three best players are not gonna be playing. Yeah, Alonzo left back or sent off And he's he's actually been very strong fun Berenie can't play who's I think been their best player and then Johnson's their third one But he's hit the miss, you know, so I'm not too worried about this. He's not going to Brazil now So you didn't give a shit. Yeah, what I say about the Sunderland game is that It's our first home game in four. It's Wednesday night Sunday the lights We're gonna be buzzing and feels gonna be buzzing. I just I just cannot and I you know I just cannot see how we don't win this game easily. We talk about this earlier on the difference between this and away No, nine for me is when you're standing on the cup In that season and things were going well Anxiety levels were fucking huge. Yeah, it was just tense and horrible whereas now it's like fucking balls out Let's go for it. It goes back to what James said earlier, you know, we've so you know surpassed our expectations What the season is everything now is a bonus. I mean, it's so What the fuck does it matter right? I mean at the end of the day? We've we've had the best season we've had for what? Five six seven years and we can make an argument that this is this is a proper title It's a bit of the United thing. It's a bit of the there's a bit of the United thing in closing in on 18 titles that season as well But you have fundamentally it's but fundamentally I just I just think it's gonna be rocking and if you're Sunderland come into that We've just won six on the bounce, which we've never done in the Rodgers. We haven't done since a week or nine We've got a home game first home game three days under the lights, you know massive expectation We're trying to win the league. I just I think it's gonna be a great atmosphere And I think we'll I hope we'll get it early And I think that they've just they've got this cup final mentality with them at the moment They've just got eight games. That's what they want to get through eight games and this is the first one. Hmm. Yeah Morely around the two games you see any particular rotation for example and got suggest one to you if we've got Potentially Alibayor is a threat up front for Spurs. I'm not sure if he's gone planning on we didn't play the weekend But if he is in and for example the cycle come in for that game to you in your estimation Well, I think there will be rotation I don't think it'll be cycloid. I think Sterling will come in or Latino as it seems the moment Rodgers is having Sterling playing for the own games and Latinos pin at your way games and Regards Alibayor to be honest. I don't he's even that great in here I'm actually impressed with with him or with his face. I think he's much better with what his feet in the Year-wise, so No, I think the migrants cattle I think they can take care of any blur But I do think Sterling will come in for this underline game Fair enough fair enough Everything with with Sterling and Coutinho as I think is logical be similar to Cardiff Which is that they're gonna sit back like Cinderella. I'm gonna come to Anfield to try particularly without Berenie They're not gonna come to Anfield. They're gonna set up like they did make up final right which is compact midfield Ultradore probably up front and they try gonna try and hold us off So if you play that you you kind of lose some of Sterling's impact because his pace won't get in behind them Which is why I think he picks Coutinho and that type of game to try and play a smarter ball or to be a little bit More guy or fall in the middle. I'm not saying that's what he'll do I don't think it's as simple as a home or away. I think it's the opposition if they're gonna sit back I think he'll play Do you think there took so when will sit back coming in Anfield? I think it's a terrible for for relegation Yeah, but it just got to be two no by Norwich, right? I mean they're they're on a I mean that they just want to get out of this thing of life You know, they just want to get out of this game in some sort of shape I think if they come to Anfield and attack us they know That they could be on an absolute shellac in here All the risk could be that would just be the worst thing for them I was to go down five six nil at Anfield with a with a renegade should run in if I was boy I think he's just gonna go We'll keep him tight, you know, try and nick it on the break But we're not gonna get out of here You've got to remember that for a relegation battle in team as well If they get a very unlikely point of downfield That's par for the season point of game generally keeps you up. Exactly I just want to think Paulia is the kind of a one of those managers that has his team sit back I don't think he's in his DNA I think he's one of those managers that likes to see him get the ball in the ground Get it up there and see if he can go off for the win So that's what I can see is Sterling coming in for four-dose counters We've been certainly come at us I can't see something sitting at the back I think everything you've said there, Molly I think that's the argument that he'll start against Spores Because Spores are playing this high line And I think that Sterling is the man to exploit that high line himself on storage And potentially you take it in here and get Suarez to drop in almost into that point of a diamond midfield And just let the two boys attack from the flanks and exploit the two centerbacks Because if they play and they seem to play with this high line regardless of what's going on Storage and Sterling will have a field as they did in my heartland What they've said around Sunderland, I'm starting to win the green Although I can see Molly's logic because I remember the amount of times the Brighton came to us in FA Cup matches And they came and they had a go and come back to what I said about the idea that they've Possibly written this game off in terms of the likelihood of getting points out of it They may just come out and really go for it in the fourth 20 minutes To see if they can get some kind of punch in the shark in the eye Yeah, kind of thing to see if they can just shock us Just to see if they can get something and if it doesn't they're not going to lose anything And if they do then they're getting something out of nothing Is there an argument for Sakex? We talked about the fact that Borini isn't available There's an argument for Sakex in that game because of the fact that Altedor Well, famous last words, he's probably not going to get you too much in the way of going through it He's got one goal in 24-20, so he will score now on Wednesday, so sorry about that But I mean is there an argument for Sakex because he should be quite aggressive He'll step out and he'll sort of I'd play Sakex for the simple fact It'll be a handful basically, Altedor That's what I'm saying And not just that Sunderland's main threat is going to come via set pieces of your man, Craig Gardner and Sebastian Larrisons delivery And even Adam Johnson's delivery into the box, right? To get their centre backs up, that's where potentially they can do damage against us And the flip side is we need to get Sako games at some point Because if anything does happen to Agar and we know he's made the crisps Then he's like, you know, what are you going to do, bringing a guy who hasn't played in nearly four months at this stage? Yeah, I mean, fuck Altedor The argument for Sako was three goals against Cardiff There's, we don't need to worry about it, I mean, just watch what Agar did, I mean, I'm going to say it again We should never play for us again He was a lot of, he was a disgrace And just Just on the Sunderland point I hope you're right I hope they come and attack us Because the best thing If I could pick a tactic, if I could Take over the Sunderland team to get the best result for Liverpool I would say go and attack us Attack us, absolutely attack us Come on to us and we will absolutely blow you As for any team in the world, really I'm more worried about the park and the bus And I'm more worried about that than I am about them coming and having See, I'm not because I've seen us deal with so many times this season When teams have come and tried to parrot the bus at Anfield And that's why if they do, that's your argument for playing continue Because that's where... We're equally good at either side Yeah, we're equally good at eating both of those, you know, kind of scenario We eat teams of life in both of those scenarios And that's because we're just a team with a lot of threats now We're a much better team than we've been for years Yeah, exactly, that's what we're watching Right, well, look, barring any other remarkable sheds for lineups Let's go Just on one thing on the sports game Go ahead The one day are going to be massive threats from set pieces I watched them against Arsenal and the quality delivery that Ericsson can put into the box Is different to nearly anything we're going to play for the rest of the season And our loyalty into the goal as well Yeah, yeah, but like in terms of the one thing I don't know, it doesn't play until that or it does play He feeds off decent quality delivery into the box And it looks like there's a partnership striking up between himself and Ericsson At the wrong time, coming to Anfield Again, the defensive weakness I think we can capitalize on But I just, we have to be so aware not to give free kicks in stupid areas And that's, for me, is possibly the strongest argument for playing Luke or some wins tonight I'm playing Gerard and making sure that Gerard doesn't get suspended and is there for the sports game I totally agree and actually, if Sherwood was smart He'd move Ericsson to the other side and go out Flanagan But I don't think he is that smart, I think he'll keep him left side In which case Henderson should be a fuck off mate He should be able to do a reasonable job But I completely agree, we've got to nullify Ericsson You know, for Spurs and set pieces, I mean, Sag was going to play We've got to have a big enough side And that's why Gerard's going to play And we play against the Highline Because actually against Southampton, they were Again, Highline, atrocious, Southampton should have So Southampton should have had that game out of sight before they got the sports got their first go Roger, you guys missed a great chance in Atlanta, missed a great chance to make a 3-0 I agree, we won't miss those chances Right, let's go around and get some protection To start off with the Sunderland game Molly, where do you see this finishing? How do you see it finishing? What's the point? Four in it Four in that lovely Paul? Three now Three now, Dave I genuinely think it's going to be a really high score I think we'll win five or six now Sweet to find Jesus, James I think Sunderland will probably shut the boat with a cup of rocks Liverpool, four Sunderland, no God Jesus I think it's a narrow win for us, Phil Well, it'd be wrong for me to say anything but a five-0 win to Sunderland It was, I'm fucking bored Well, you might as well just say what this part is, seven-0's part Jesus, I'm nervous about sports I'm actually really nervous about sports So you should go the other way, right? Unlike when we went to play in the White Heart Lane And I said we'd spanked them and we did I have a sneaky suspicion That this is the game that we possibly drop points in Yeah I think, I think we, so I'd say, train us boys Yeah, Ericsson was worried the way he got from me I think that's going to be tight And I think we might have a disappointing draw there, James Spurs I've got a fucking white van man in charge of fuck's sake With a lovely coat, he likes to fling as far away across the ground as possible Lovely jillow He's like a bad version of white basser, England manager There'll be, there'll be goals in it You taught me around a bit with the set piece rep potentially We're not exactly impregnable at the back So I'll say Liverpool 3, Tottenham 1 Ooh, okay, Dave Yeah, I mean, I know Spurs are tricky But I just genuinely can't see how we don't beat them They're doing drug fella No, I mean, but the problem is right now, we're so good Right, there's very few teams that I can see beat that are so And Spurs are not one of those teams So I think we'll win I think we'll win by two goals I don't know what the score will be, but we'll win by two goals Yeah, there's not a lot of niddles here fellas in your predictions You seem to be fucking fairing to know That's our shit defence Anyway, Paul I think we'll have too much for Spurs Especially, I think Rodgers will just He'll easily outsmart you I don't know how they've picked up so many points under him I remember last season when we were, like, wiping the floor with teams kind of possession-wise and contrived into lose Like, these are going around, like, backwashes and contrived into wins I can't get over how many points they've picked up We'll beat them at least three, one I'd say Lovely, lovely I'm fucking Pascal without smartly, shit Jesus And Molly, last one for Spurs Oh, yeah, I think Spurs will definitely score So, Spurs won the full seven Love it Yes What's in quality, right? It is! It's all the way down Right then What's the odds in the... And who's scoring? Fucking... What's going on in the score? What's the quality of thing? For one stop Now you get... Right Okay, it is time for the comparative sense and logic of the preceding section to be erased completely by the downright strangeness of your listeners' questions The first one is from Chris And Chris asks And he gives you a choice here "Marry, shag, kill" And the three people are Ferguson, Howard Webb Rio Ferdinand Molly Well, I'm going to marry Rio only because he might share some of these drugs No, you won't That's right Allegedly Allegedly We have a chat I certainly... I'd fuck Fergie because I'm kind of sadistic like that I can't answer, I have no other problem with Webb But because I have to kill one of them Unfortunately, Webb will get in it Okay, any other shares for us? If we could do it in a sort of alternative history kind of where I go, I can time and kill Ferguson for fairly obvious reasons Oh yeah, hold on Then again, we would get more of a share Would we? Was that over quarter of a century or mostly quarter of a century of, you know, kind of crushing excellence? Would you exchange that for what we've seen this season? Fergie, well... It's probably worth it, isn't it? Yeah, it's probably worth it Yeah, it's probably worth it If it was anybody else being really mediocre and not some kind of like giantide neurotic former evidence manager, may you not? Yeah, they'd look into it It's a real payoff like this Really is it? It's like a real dividend like at the end of it Yeah, well... Okay, so any other shares for us for a move on? Um, I probably wouldn't marry or fuck either of them I'd put my head up against Fergie's or Ferdinand's and shoot us both so... Okay, that's a quick way around So Marco Lopez has got our next one and he is, as we know, a friend of the pot He's got two questions here The first one, God love Marco I think he's been badly, badly traumatized by his last appearance in the pot Because the first question says If by receiving a hot, wet, oily massage from David Moyes You could get Man United relegated Would you do it, James Bond? No, because I'd rather, you know, if Moyes is there anyway They're going to be piss-poor and just, you know, I'd rather I'm in the premiere you can humiliate them twice a season and not have to get hot, won't oily massage from David Moyes Yeah, nobody wants that Nobody wants that What about the next one from Marco? He says, "Choose an LFC player If he was a character in Mortal Kombat What would his fatality be?" Vitamin Mose Vitamin Mose Just being fake there Just a period, just a period Everyone knows Jim Fishlock asks If you had to Would you rather eat a shit sandwich or drink a pint of piss? It's got to be a pint of piss Nobody wants shit in their teeth, did they? Does anyone congeal with the brand as well? What are you saying, Molly, sorry? Depends what you get with the shit sandwich Do we get any condiments? Do we get like no, I'm supposed to be there? What are you talking about? Well, this is not forced Sorry, let's talk this through, Molly What could possibly improve the shit sandwich for you there, fella? Depends what the shit's made of What do you want to have forced for? Brown sauce Now, actually, Phil makes you go point here We hadn't thought about that What's in this shit? Like, you can get some nice corn, can't you? Sweet corn Please? Yeah, well, what about that? It might be you, the sugar puffs piss Yeah That might be quite nice Yeah, you might get away with that one Right You need to honey off it For sore throat I'm trying to actually wonders If we couldn't answer the previous one Maybe you can answer this one What do you do to get back into your Mrs. Good books after you've stayed out in the piss after an early Saturday or Sunday kickoff? I'm going to go ahead and present the most paper on the table of experiences What does one do? What I do basically is As I always say, you start off as you mean and continue So, when you force me to fuel your Mrs. More or wherever she's going to be You go over in the piss on the Saturday You don't come back late to the Sunday and you go, "No, that's what you'll expect for the rest of your time, Michigan" Yeah, I'm a bit stubborn I kind of, I tend to just kind of wait it out Like, I don't really, you know, try and get back into the Good books Because I am kind of, I can stick stuff like that So, hang on, you just stick it out like a bad bastard You don't actually make any sort of... No, not yours, you know, unless I've done something really bad Well, the correct answer here is you go to fucking Ikea and you buy some shit that you don't want that she wants This is what we all do and then you make it and then everything's okay No, no, you're gonna cup a tea and make it watch the classical That's what you do Fuck that, come on, come on, come watch the best routines No, you're saying that now, fella Right, watch ETV Oh, Christ Yeah Oh, that's Jesus Okay, John Ritchie, simple choice for your fellas This is very laddish now So, I'm gonna update this because it's not my bad girl Hailing the Queen or Clara Rourke It kind of reminds me a bit of a turkey and she's got kind of like big sort of foamy looking arms but Hailing the Queen for the tips I just, I just run it right now Molly, Molly Careful, just for that fringe that is just sexy, that is You're a fringe, Fanny Yeah, I love a bit of fringe, me You're a fringe Hailing the Queen is going to the Queen's daughter, right? That's a fact Oh my God Yeah It's not Clara Rourke Jeff asks, "How much would you have to be paid to make Brokeback Mountain 2 with Roy Houghton as your co-star?" Well, I think there's another way you could look at that question is what would you have to offer Roy Houghton to just start in the film himself And speaking in the third person now I was actually, I attended a premiere of Brokeback Mountain in my time as manager of, I think it was a United Arab Emirates at the time and it was rather a contentious thing at the time because the Federation of being in his family country they were obviously rather conservative and it's a plot line with heavy homosexual content but I was very, I was very sceptical about the film in the first viewing but very much more fun of more abstract cinema like Overna Herzog and people like that but I saw it again recently actually on a flight to Stockholm and I was having a reunion from my time at Halmstad and I had a rather more favourable viewing of it the second time around right from your time in Halmstad and other areas Malmo and of Raybro? Yes, those ones are you a fan of the movies of that region? Well, we've had this conversation before and it's not for nothing that I'm a god who is something of a renaissance man and I'm sure my various travels at Halmstad, Malmo, Raybro, Nuchetel, Zamek, Sothevold, Viking, Odin, A.C., a gross-up of the Zurich, Internets, you know, it was very successful The Swiss national team, the United Arab Emirates national team, Viking, A.C. Copenhagen, the Finnish national team, Blackburn Rovers Fulham, Liverpool was very unfortunate and now as manager of England I've very much been somebody who's adopted the better home into the local culture and I certainly became a fan of European cinema and particularly Scandinavian cinema they're very liberal-minded people What would you say is the absolute highlight of English cinema, Roy as a patriot? Well, my younger days I was rather a fan of the Italian job and they were only supposed to blow the bloody doors off Wonderful, thank you Roy for that very much Derek asks, if you had to shag one of them what would you choose? Either your best-made wife or your best-made man That's obviously a very fucking straightforward question I would have thought of the pen, really Are they in their prime or at the case? As is, that's good As is I'm going back to the question about the worst thing you've ever done with your brother Yeah, yeah Harry asks a fucking bizarre question If you have- It depends on how much you want to get at your best-made What does? If you truly hate me, you do, it's bored If you just want to mop you do, it's my arm Would you think it worked out, will you? I'm not gonna try it Harry asks, if you had to parachute out of a plane with an animal, what animal would it be and who are you? And he's shed too A fan by a bat Why is that a thing? We're a monkey with a knife It doesn't look like this, it doesn't look like this We don't enter the jungle because I want a monkey with a knife with me It depends on what I'm landing, it really depends on what I'm landing I thought about this one, right? I'm recommending a fancy, a big cat Because cats always land under feet Not from a fucking plane No idea, I've got a parachute No, it doesn't matter I picked it myself in a sort of human type situation where I land on the back of the cat I'm happy days because it lands on its feet and it just rolls off Oh fuck me, you've got a sword again, haven't you? That's basically the fucking claim here I do have sword envy You do have sword envy Yeah, yeah a cat I won because when I put the paws out And actually, this is where cats swear to you, right? This is where cats don't die when they fall from a height of over seven floors, right? They actually slow... You're definitely sure they don't No, they don't, they don't Below the hundred floor Below the seventh floor Below the seventh floor they will, but if you do it right Seriously, the way they spread their paws out Actually slows their fall down and prevents them from dying And if you don't believe me, go on Google, it's true It's true It's bollocks It's not bollocks It's alking bollocks, can't you? I'm not, seriously, it's that way They're showing here I'm on the back of a tiger or something It slows them sufficiently to run off Paul, why is that bollocks? I'm interested Have you got a counter-argument? Or is it just bollocks? No, not really, it's just bollocks Don't Google it Zul Bazar asks If you were caught out in the wilderness overnight And you needed to call And you needed to call a fat man to survive in the cold Who would you want the fat man to be? I would call it a pen for modern family Oh yeah? Oh, that's a good shield Yeah, but in fact, I wouldn't need to be in the forest and be cold I'd just like to be caught in anywhere You're just like a cudlock, are you? Yeah, I'd just like a cudlock from anywhere Forest, don't need to be cold Just a cudlock, I really don't Just a cudlock with that chap Anyone else got any fat man? They'd like to cuddle if I want No No, no, raise a rod up, sir I'm very surprised Would you put a rod up there? No, I probably wouldn't call it a raise a rod That's a fair fucking guess Next one's from Chimp Chimp is a regular contributor And Chimp is wondering Fuck me, it's another animal question What animal could make the best stab at playing a banjo? Well, there's a choice There's a choice here Between the fox The brown bear Or the common otter Well, Chimp obviously knows you'd stuff here Because, you know, the banjo is really local to North America As is the brown bear So obviously, it would be the brown bear Because he'd be used to being around the banjo Or judder to go wouldn't So, Chimp is the brown bear The brown bear, lovely This is from John It's during an idea And you meet someone You suddenly realize that she's the one with your dreams But after a fairytale first few weeks She tells you she's pregnant But even worse, she informs you She's David Moyes' daughter What do you do? I moved a carrot of city, I know it Hypothetically, hypothetically Every single stab That's a fucking one for me And Nick asks If you were a barn-style mega villain What fiendish death trap Would you have in your lair? Easy I would have Crocodiles, right? Who have had attachments placed on their brain And can actually understand language So you can tell them to go on do things I've always wanted to have two crocodiles Beside a throne And sort of a death pit in front of me So they stand on their thing And it opens under crocodiles You just send them to hunt them down Because crocodile death is a noise Hang on, a death pit So one of those slidey things in the floor That people fall into And then you send the boys after them Oh yeah And you're communicating with them Yeah, I meant to tell them You have to crack techno Yeah, telekinesis Imprint in their brains Do you know how it's fucking scary How much thought you've actually given to this? I wouldn't, I'd have a henchman A henchman And it would be Phil Casey With a lightsaber It wouldn't be called our job It'd be called our job Let me take care of anyone who came in With his lightsaber Because he has particularistic tendencies With the lightsaber No, they've, sorry I'd outsourced that job To my chip pit chimp with a lightsaber Phil Rob, mine was going to be a trapdoor That leads to a skiff full of crocodiles Anyone ever seen a javelin anti-tank missile Being launched The one that goes in the air? Yeah, I think missiles That's kind of a good thing, isn't it? No, we're looking at them as like straight over the air That's so on, yeah It's an impressive sight And I don't know what I have one of those I think I'd get a weird kind of I'd want to watch that on my CCTV From where I was in Scotland The bowels of this lair That'd be a bad way to go Saying that, I think they've got a minimum range Within which they don't work, so So once your enemy is close Just normally has two questions for us First one is, well, this might be a bit long So we'll just get a few sheds What would your snide shithouse 11 be? Seeing as Pepe was making this topic Very contemporary there What is it performs? You're even your snide shithouse 11 Give me some sheds Who's on that? Avar waveloa He is, I hope I was on there Any other sheds? Jack Wilshire There's a snide Shithouse Jack Wilshire That's a good one Any other sheds? I'd put Cardi Medell in there I'd love the realms And Suarez Two of them will be in there Fucking leaves It's got the better left, isn't it? And Diego Costa I'll cast this in Yo, I'm a bad guy Cost us not a shithouse, low is he? Oh, he can't, oh he's here He's snide, he's not a shithouse Yeah, a shithouse I thought he meant like, you know Counting Yeah, like, you know, not Not actually a front to mind Like, that Paul Robinson left back They used to play from home He was Kebai, Kebai Yeah, Kebai Point of truth, you'd break us in And kind of got away with it Yeah, look at Johnny Evans Johnny Evans Just the ultimate one, yeah Yeah, yeah Yeah, Scomer That one's good Pepe, Pepe is obviously there Pepe's semi And he's half of Sergio Ramos And pure comedy value Because the lab looks just like He's getting sent off I love it I love it Just the mobs Ninety-five red cards In ten games or something And all you guys are Fuckhead, Mourinho Is obviously in charge of the team What punishment would you Disshade for people who Drive with the fog lights on When they're not needed Wet slippers to the face And magnificent You'd have like a bucket And you'd have them a distance We're about eight yards And you'd have about, you know Doesn't, you know Doesn't pair the slippers And then, you know Kind of tie the legs together And just fucking fill your boots Don't go again Yeah, exactly, yeah, yeah Uh, next one from Brian says Would you go without the use of your elbows? In other words, you can't bend your arms For an entire year If it meant that Liverpool will win the league Is that actually possible? Could you do that? Jesus, very little I wouldn't do For Liverpool to win the league But that might be one of them Oh, absolutely You would actually go with that one Of course Straight arms for a year Do you realize how many things You're missing out on there, fella? Like, basically most of Well, one activity in the game Well, activity made famous, Brian. I don't know what happens in Your own guy's life, but you know We can still do that That's too much there, Dave Honest, I don't do that, anyway I don't do it No, not for three days You could rub yourself up against something, though If your arms were locked Take fucking ages I loved it the only thing we give a fuck by It's not feeding ourselves with our hands It's fucking wanking ourselves off Into oblivion What the fuck is wrong with you people? No, I wouldn't I wouldn't because we might win the league anyway This season, and none of us as well Touchwood Is going to have to sort of Forgo the use for elbows So, sort of sort of take the risk No, we've got a decent team, though We might, we might do it without Anybody having to sort of Yeah, get the use for elbows Yeah, but if we don't win the league We'd always falterate now, James Yeah, no, yeah, deal Straight arms Yeah, you got me there Okay, next one is from David, who's standing around the table Mr. Dave Thomas Who sent in a question Before he knew he was coming in And he asks When storage does a rig the arm dance What song do you think he's dancing to? Dave, you sent in the question You must add one in your head Well, the truth is, right I can't get the Boney M Brown girl in the ring out of my head Yeah, yeah, yeah Because they're singing it in every game Yeah, so If you actually watch him That was the first thing that came to mind But I think he's probably dancing to something like superstition by Stevie Wonder Or something like that Oh, nice Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah James only shares in it Well, Jason by Dave's Twitter username You might like this one Because I, I'll say Up in the club By a little known west coast Um, hip hop duo Called Second to None Who, uh, best known For one of their, that, that particular song Being used in an episode of the Sopranos Season two, Furio goes to collect, um, A kind of, kind of tribute, kind of up payment From, uh, Matthew Bevelacher And Sean just Monty, you get, uh, while I, I won't give it away in case anyone Spoilers watching season two But, um, I, I did just shout it out Up in the club By Second to None It's actually a really, really good song And if you've watched that episode And I think Dave's, yeah Dave knows it, it's a great track actually, it's a great track. And the other really armed sheds. And, you know that's all.
