court have fun second and this and this and this uh how's that how's that can we yeah clap everyone understand us yeah okay nice one uh Brendan's Liverpool are really in this thing you know they're absolutely bobbins and after pally's day we're the only ones not hung over because we're the day trippers on tonight's show we revel in the carnage of the pally's weekend massacre if united in old toilet we are joined from elasia by jaggedash sing at some ridiculous air so let's hope he stays awake long enough for us to go through the weekend's events and take a look at what's to come you all give out a bit lee mahali sweariness the last time resounds we brought him back to swear some more and we're missing the culture fact that moley often brings us this week so we've balanced out the jacking influence postin patrick's day by bringing in green skeiser aka nyls Sheridan to share his thoughts on all things red right then a little bit of an announcement for you tonight uh one that's uh actually more than a little one quite monumental unfortunately from the first of april the day trippers will no longer exist or what's this now here you ask but have no fear because we will be relaunching as lfc day trippers lfc day trippers will be a relaunch and a rebrand of our pod um moley's beyond the cop site and cult hurley's Liverpool ways will be joining us now we know this is an unusual step for Liverpool sites to merge as opposed to setting up a series of individual websites but it means that all you lovely people get a brand spanking new website with lots of articles plenty of rumors interviews and an awful lot more now we mean um to aim at the day tripping fan particularly but it's something that will have i think an appeal for everybody and i feel i'm only been working away at all hours and to get the site up and running uh over the the next couple of weeks we want everyone to follow up beyond the cop uh on twitter and this will become our main twitter handle uh and change to lfc day trippers this site will be live at noon gmt on able to first with our first pod as the lfc day trippers so molly i think you could maybe give us a bit more background on this yeah well i i set up uh beyond the cop about 12 months ago now and at the time i was kind of tired and defines who couldn't always get to the game hence the name beyond the cop yes you know so i had no podcast with us it was just a place to put down a few rumors and have guys the rights of market as i put their opinion pieces on it and ending everything basically went into it but really it was only a pet project of mine it wasn't any kind of professional look i didn't really go out for that but then i started talking to your yourselves and i realized i said to you that these guys are during the same american as me that they're looking at the day trippers guys who can't get every game who try to get over whatever game they can your podcast i listened before i came on the show i thought was some fantastic stuff on it and i thought show this this will be ideal this will be a deep partnership so myself and Phil started chatting and we thought what better to have one site and one pod together so that's what we're looking to do and plus we have a couple other social media accounts it maybe feel most people to look for ways and stuff was also coming on board so we'd have a very large social media backing we'd have to podcast and we'd have the site we're bringing something different um and there's so many good little sites out there that i'm very confident that we're bringing brings a slightly different flavor to what's there at the moment it adds to the richness and the vibrancy of the liver proof of blog and website communities that are there and i think that going forward you know we'll fit in nicely and it will be act as an information point and a social point for all the liver proof fans who aren't necessarily living in or around Mary's side you know to come to and share their share what's going on and the whole lot that's there as well we have some unique features in there that more will be revealed as the site goes live but like obviously i don't want to give away everything because we want it we need to build the site as we come off to it all for the next couple of weeks but i'm really excited about what we have are you going to give us any little teasers at all about what might be kind of specific to the site that mightn't be necessarily everywhere else no it is important to say as well that it's not just the Irish side of it it's no no no this this is this is like again we're okay look there'll be there'll be travel tips and stuff on it and it won't be just concentrated from Ireland it'll be for everyone that's what that wants to get to the game the best ways to get to games etc that's that's something that's in there we have a few unique things in the actual site as well and it's it's fully interactive for people who come on to the actual site it's not it's not just here's articles here stuff here's what it is there's stuff that people can get involved on the actual site more than just polls and things like that there it is yeah as Phil just said there's going to be very much fun friendly very much interactive you know we are obviously going to have the podcast we're going to have articles opinion pieces of sculpt reports all that type of stuff but there's going to be some extra features that a lot of other sites don't have and I think people who like this absolutely well April the 4th stand folks keep an eye out for that and or it's the most elaborate April Phil talks ever which is probably far more likely far more likely okay okay so we'll get straight into our review of Manchester United versus Liverpool and happy days indeed as a markedly small time united under the ever small time David Moyes were put in their place now what a result it was supremely easy mature a confident win we were billless favorites we went to the home of our greatest rivals and we lived up to that billing it sets up the last nine matches really nicely this is definitely on this dream of of the title but first let's revel in the magnificence of that win that was was it better lads than the 08 or nine win and jag i'll come to you for us what do you think um you know what i think it was i'm still i still running on the drilling right now so i'm definitely see it's better right yeah yeah um and um like i said i was trying to say awake um but from an overall perspective i thought i thought everybody played a much more decisive way of um getting the ball to the other side of the team um i i thought um i thought the the tactics that rogers put out was a little more different from the rest of the other games we've seen so far and and we've talked about a diamond before and and to be honest with you i i just couldn't figure out what sterling is going to do and you're definitely going to talk about that later on but sure yeah i think i think i think everybody put in a good shift yeah so for you would rate is better than than than the four one and in the way don't i for me i still you know i have a lot of affection for what rafard did and i i think the four one was a lot more well i let them a lot more emotional but this was more i was calmer yeah and so i thought yeah and so i think it was from uh from an emotional perspective this one was more decisive yeah yeah absolutely brilliant and now what what's your take on it better than than the previous one yeah i mean i think i think um some of the game was perhaps a better win than the one in all nine i think that's due to the fact really like in all nine okay we won the 401 but again was uh very close to cutting on either way really until the village standing off in our rally as well that's really the only moment in all nine but i was confident but uh it was just caught in domination from once on some day not only with the ball but also without the ball it thought our pressing was fantastic and um i just couldn't see united once we scored first i just couldn't see united getting back and begin so uh for me yeah i uh raised thunder's win is perhaps more important and perhaps even more impressive than the four one minute online yeah uh paul brand what what what what's your feel about it did you did you enjoy that more than the the previous one yeah i'd say so the oh eight oh nine one was more unexpected really but um i think you because that was where we kind of went there was last chance alone then there were obviously the best team in the country at that time whereas this time that with the whole kind of world was watching us saying like you're better than them now what are you going to do and we just went out and proved and like i said just complete domination like they didn't have a chance really and like a like a it could have been more even so i i'd say it was because of the expectation that was honest yeah that's a very good point isn't it lee mahadi that we went there his favorites and lived up to the building as i was saying earlier on which is a bigger ask really yeah in essence we think that's actually what kind of took the gloss off of for me though we thought that um because the honest was actually honest to win it because we went in his favorites this time clear favorites you know we were well expected to be this pretty terrible you know the side i thought that in i thought that in oh eight oh nine i thought the fact that it was so unexpected at the time and the fact that was probably one of the top three teams that fairies never managed at the time you know that i just come off like a unbelievable like league and champions they double you know the season before and they were in and at that time as well they were in the mists of like what was probably the longest offensive streak in the history of the primary league it wasn't at some point i think vanda when vanda servers and go yeah village and Ferdinand had held like a ridiculous record like a total domination of the back line but i thought that you know it's all done to circumstance i think the circumstance that you're in at the time kind of it can kind of influence whether you believe that the win is actually better than one or the other i think that you know i think because of i don't know it's hard to put it one way because uh i don't know i actually literally can't put it i can't really put it into words correctly it's that uh now i'm now going to let it pass over for i can tell you something yeah can i say something though please do yeah i thought if it was foggy for it was foggy at the dugout it was a bit it would have been a much more beautiful win i thought really i mean you couldn't you couldn't get the enjoyment from from torture and noises i know i think i think everybody gives um united a handicap with voice everybody has a pitiful pitiful perception of him you know and now so you know you've done it say oh i'm sorry but this is more as right but it hadn't been foggy right the bastard over there how would it be but yeah that that is the most joyous thing about that win is the face and fucking Ferguson and the sound i don't give a fuck when i went up he was just like a tundra and gobshoid sitting there gone i'm responsible for this oh you got i was the one who that mod is the job and the camera was on i'm just long enough for someone to make a perfect vine of it as well because that's just the most curmudgeonly of all the trippers wants to sing the praises of one red in particular now this is strange we have justifiably slaughtered Glenn Johnson for the majority of this season and i know personally i was irritated his folk watching him um the other day but according to my very very opiate positive optimistic colleague here he was the consummate full back his words so in casey you all right there for that yeah i i tell you my tarts and johnson are and i said it last week i was annoyed with his constant selection for three weeks up onto this right and when he came back and and the performance was put in but the one thing i said was that maybe he was playing himself into some form and i thought on sunday he he actually they only had 18 crosses in the whole game they switched um janazoyo over to troy tag flanigan at one stage and he moved matta out and despite us all saying matt is not a winger matt is not a winger matt is a top class footballer right and johnson handled him very easily he put him to bed and i thought johnson actually gave us something down the right wing and you know they weren't getting streams across his in he did his job admirably he defended his his flank very well and he provided an outlet in in attack nearly all the time every time he went the ball got worried whoever was on the right hand side whether it was henerson i wanted the forward to peeled off or staring into that space johnson was always an outlet in an attacking sense and when i say i want to sing this place i thought that was the best performance from glenn johnson in a long time that i can like we're probably going back to the full game before he got injured uh in october and you know it's very hard to actually criticize the fellow for the for the the one he put in on sunday because i think he did very very well and especially like he's been searching for form and he found that he found form and sunday i've no issues with him at all i thought he did well i just want to say because we have we have relocked him for being shit for quite a long while yeah i think you're just doing some sort of damage limitation there and trying to try that even things that i'm not sure i don't see that myself i didn't particularly particularly see that myself um chad would you agree that johnson was uh much improved on previous weeks yeah i mean feel i think um i think our expectations of johnson be sort of horrible the past few times that uh if he puts in a good shift and it's it's it's suddenly a sounding back to his good old self again but but yeah feels right off the ball he was good um he was giving him the support that um that hennison eurok required in uh selling as well the one thing i remember but the match uh this match about johnson was that he comes on the flank cuts into the left it is a square though he tries to take a shot but his his reaction is so slow that everybody knows he was trying to take a shot um and so that happened a couple of times and i think that pretty much sums up what i think about johnson is that he's no more the unproductive uh the attacking fullback that we thought he was i think i think he's losing his age right now yeah he was definitely something to send more cautious about him isn't it's definitely he's definitely far more cagey in his movements and uh looks like a lad who's kind of i don't know compensating for the fact uh compensating for something if if someone told me he was carrying an injury i'd have said that's okay because i even he looks restricted in his movements to me anyway lee where are you starting on this the whole thing uh to be fair give him his jew like he was very very good in comparison toward he's been the previous couple of weeks yeah like we as you said we roliced him when he was bad and you know it wasn't even for it wasn't even so much for me that he was bad it was the fact that he just didn't look fucking arched yeah yeah that's the biggest problem you know like we've actually we've had some perennially shared players down the years but like we've actually we've ended up loving them we have mostly fucking give their all like and that was what was driving me mad you know johnson an extremely high ear earner at the club just not looking like he was bothered and then even though even though we have fucking sasoko who's at least fucking triore mark too like at least you know for all of his shortcomings he was going out there and he was actually putting a fucking shift in yep and you know and that was what was driving me mad about johnson so much the fact that he was letting so many markers get in behind him the fact that he wasn't even jumping on corners to beat the man to the header like it was really fucking grinding on me well you see a mark improvement earlier yeah definitely yeah it feels like the whole mentality that's been instilled in the entire squad is actually finally warmed its way over to him okay um noil i'm going to come to you next on uh our center back partnership skurtland agernay they've looked at you for long spells at the various times they did seem to excel the other day either seem to have pretty much the measure of the united attack i know skurtland made a few impressive blocks and headers away but at the same token van parsley did at times find acres of space i i think it was more to do with his uselessness on the day uh then then only particularly brilliant defending that that stopped him from scoring um where would you feel that that that their level of performance was not uh i was very pleased with the performance of skurtland agernay they're during the weekend i think um they've definitely benefited from playing alongside regular back four i think that's something we were all kind of um saying earlier in the season that it's been affecting their defense of performance and i take now the last two games against um sturt anton and united i think the defense of the whole has looked very solid and then um obviously then this makes skurtland agern and appear more solid as well i thought um i actually thought skurtland was very good i'm not skurtland's the biggest fan but i thought he was brilliant as well as in the first game against united earlier and there i thought he was a magnificent from there and that was a wonderful block for uh on runie's ollie because uh really caught it very well so i think and skurtland really impressed me agern i think is um he's looked sharper i think agern since he came back from the injury i don't know maybe it's um since um taqul was also playing well prior to his injury so maybe now agernay realizes you know but he actually has competition for that uh less than tobacco so i think agern has um definitely improved his performances over the last few weeks as well so you know overall i thought we looked much more solid they looked much more solid offensive partnership on thunder yeah um paul brown were you happy with with their arse consistency in the back four yeah i thought though i thought i thought all the defense did did well like i thought johnson did like like the lads had said like he was uh good defensively and he was okay going forward as well um i think like jag said he's not he's not the kind of rampage and full back he used to be but it was good to see him like play very well defensively i thought and skurtland agernay again they were brilliant i think there was only really there's only one time vampiracy looked like he was going to score where he paled off skurtland got the header like he kind of missed killed of horror people and like he did get the ball in the box a few times but it was kind of out to the side and all he was closed down fairly quick but overall um the defense did really well especially the center box and like agern agern those seem to be back in the past couple of weeks and maybe he's got a bit of a kick up the hall because there's been a lot of talk about him being bended in the summer and stuff so maybe maybe he is kind of fighting for his future really i i think we're looking at agern just on on the whole thing like again it's maybe you know players can take a while to come back to what they were before an injury um a few games a bit like joallen you know people were quick to jump on his back when he wasn't up to the same level as soon as he came back him you know agern has gone in and he he had to read the vampersi he he looked after him and was very easily done i like again i don't want to dwell on you know because i can't be asked for them to be honest with you but like vampersi has been piss poor for the mild season um i know emotional it fans wouldn't wouldn't have shared like bad-noided vampersi being left out of this game and um you know i thought when well back did come on eventually for the last 15 minutes he gave more of that you know it came than vampersi had um and we know that scaritol had has had issues with um mmm well back in the past so to play vampersi again small time was you know he goes at a name rather than ability and you know it plays right into her hands and and our two center has were well capable for a center forward who in no way shape performed it likes to be physical in in a traditional fashion vampersi is a sloy little runt when it comes to you know digs elbows wind and players open the hole out and i had moored at the center forward but he's not gonna put himself around physically and he didn't even look bothered on sunday right and they had more to deal with in terms of what ruin he was bringing to the table because i actually thought ruin he played really well um for you know if already not your players i thought he was the one that was up for the actual game and wanted to do something but you know i'd run scaritol where we're well able to deal with him and it was it was great to see you know being so solid you know it and scaritol to his credit put in a monster block just before halftime when we were one they'll open that between the safe from in your lay and that block from scaritol we go in with a clean sheet the one they'll only lead they equalize there you never know what happens in the second half it comes back to the whole large urea of the game you know i thought i thought their front foot defending was brilliant a lot of the time when you know like you know it didn't have like that much mean and full possession but anytime they got it into their front players like there was a lot of kind of tackles going in straight on the strikers touch you know like wrapping their foot around and getting it away and that's like fail said which kind of vampersi didn't seem too interested in that and he just kind of he just faded out of the game straight away uh what did you put sorry Joe go ahead no i don't want to say they didn't put a lot of processing as well i was worried about that uh before the game i was i was hoping that saka was in because i i was i was thinking more is supposed to you know they kind of manage it puts a lot of crosses in but i think after he got he got he got slated by the media about 81 or 91 crosses in one of the games early on i think i think he he changed his tactics but but there weren't many crosses and there weren't many septices as well you got to give the kudos to Flanagan and Johnson for that as well i think well absolutely and that brings us nicely to john Flanagan he's a bit bloody good this kid isn't he i loved his little bit of needle at the end giving the first up to the United fans and the way out of that apparently Suarez was shopping in the in Manchester City centre as well which is which is good crack well john Flanagan how did you how did you feel he did he certainly certainly has the heart for the battle he reminded me a lot about shall we the last time and shall we give the two fingers to verbi yeah he was running on peal really didn't i think he was really running on peal really didn't he couldn't give a fuck who young guy was or who ran for he was he just went for it yeah yeah and and he was playing he was playing on on a very thin fine line of of hurting somebody and not right he was he was putting in the right shift um i i think he was being managed by agar as well i think agar was was in his ear giving the right advice at the right time um some of the good plays over there yeah and now he was probably like if you're going to be picky about possibly fortunate to stay in the pitch despite his wonderful performance uh how did you how did you feel that john Flanagan did on the day i thought he was brilliant as jag was saying and i think it was noticeable as well how high up our border fallback for when united had the ball the last count would be multiple occasions where raffy out just had a simple five-yard ball into matter the matter couldn't turn he had no time in the world whatsoever Flanagan was right up his arse you know yeah i think um also jag was then agar was taught Flanagan through the game i also noticed um once Flanagan was booked in the first half uh robert had little word with him he was kind of i think he was a talent to relax a little bit because he was running on adrenaline but um i thought Flanagan was brilliant um i actually think i prefer Flanagan on the left hand side i don't know what it is i just think he looks um uh more solid playing playing left back what i am i thought yeah i thought he was brilliant i brought our fallback for a brilliant experience but i think it's probably up there with one of our best defensive performances of the season yeah it's funny that isn't it i remember uh jamae carver doing a job there for a season and he was outstanding i left back probably better than he had been at right back at lee is it fair to say that um you know he's a guy who's he's gotten an awful lot of sort of faint praise yeah he's not bad considering or he's very limited it's just a guy who can go on to be a fixture and never post first thing for the next few seasons if the success continues as we hope it will you do think so and you're always you hope that it will be so as well but it is something that you really want to pin your hopes on especially with the champions league luma now we've more or less sealed the place and it's so do you really think now long-term over both the Premier League season and potentially a champions league campaign do you believe that he would be the right answer long-term i think that's a question everybody has to kind of ask themselves yeah where would you go on uh i'll be honest because because of his versatility and is honestly you don't want to keep referencing it or anything like that but he is still in many ways limited and an awful lot of his game is built around more sort of hierarchical ability and awful lot of the like nearly the way carver was like he wasn't the best on the ball he wasn't about technique with carver it was about having the fucking heart of a line and the ability to read the game the same way and i believe Flanagan has that that lovely bit of scales heart about him and the fact that he did play the game more on passion than you know the logic i think for a good fucking portion of that game he told the line with clattenberg a few times like i literally thought at one stage when he crashed his raffle hell i thought he was getting the shower yeah yeah i think you are but i i think he should be given credit for it and i know i mentioned that i was talking to him it takes a lot for a player to be able to take that in on the on the pitch as well because there's so much going on in the game they're like you know and people who will play will notice that people talking awful out to you on the pitch for it to actually sink in and affect how you play the game because when rogers pulls them they've switched madder and yanazoy and they're trying to get yanazoy to expose Flanagan's pace so he dives in and gives away a clear yellow carot free kick and Flanagan's credit he doesn't dive in for the rest of the game he calls in 50/50 and hard hackers but he doesn't he doesn't go into a silly challenge one that won't bring a yellow carot film and it you know you have to have a good level of game intelligence to be able to take on the instruction and affect it almost immediately when you're given it to it to retain your position and retain your place in the 11 when when you know the chances are and the likelihood is that as a fallback you're going to be in a yellow carot place at some stage growing the rest of the game yeah that's spot on you agree Jack that's spot on and i think he went even he was good going forward as well i think he was clumsy but he did dribble past couple players i thought it was just it was really impressive yeah i i think i think there's an awful lot of um absolute bobbins as a united farmer say talked about about uh about um Flanagan's ability i think the guy clearly has time Brendan himself has talked this week only in the in the aftermath of match about his tactical proficiency and the fact that he's putting in a serious amount of work on his technical ability as well Paul um i'll ask you the same question i asked Lee would you be happy to see John Flanagan in situ as a Champions League right back for Liverpool or left back i'm not sure about the first time i definitely think you can get someone better than Flanagan but i think he's a great squad player to have because like i don't think nerves really affect him like you can see that from his performance like you know the therapy that he came into at Goldison he was one of our best offenders and that like he's probably he's kind of nailed down this place that since then and being our best fallback and the same world child like at all trafford like he obviously he was there was a few dicey moments right here hoping he wasn't gonna fucking non-gen or something but uh what scholar like it's it's not that wasn't because of nerves that's because of how he plays like so like i if if he was as i'd be really happy with him as a backup because i think so like you know if he hasn't played in a couple of months if i like who would you want if as coming in to your team would you want him or Enrique i'd go with Flanagan every time because i didn't i think i think Enrique is a bit of a space cake he needs to be in the team all the time where like yeah i think his head goes a bit where it's Flanagan he's like he's just like obviously that the comparison is obviously it's a bit like a young character where he's not really phased by him then like and he's like obviously he's not like danielle well flanny alves are i like that but like like Jack said he kind of like when he saw a matter running at me he's like oh well i'll just take a past him and he kind of went on a across field you're a bit more than a forward dribble but like i think he does have a lot of composure like i think though we we probably forget a bit because it's been a while since we were in the Champions League apart from europe league and how to have a squad when you're there it's not so much that he's a player that committed to a job for you he's a player that will have to do a job for you it's it's not will come in and a can come in it's will do a job because you're not going to play the same 11 or a preferred 11 weekend week out over the course with toward the game season you're going to be you're going to have to play players in a Wednesday and again change it around and certainly and have a certain level that when they come in on a Saturday are gonna treat every game the same way as we're treating these last 10 games which are essentially coke finals because if they're they're even bigger games we're both back in the Champions League it's imperative that we make the Champions League the following year it's not just a case of let's get in and celebrate that we're there we have to make sure we're in there again spurs yeah no it's serious and you need that level of quality right to a true squad and he brings that level of quality and and the other thing is he has all our full backs bleeding up his hole who from from the 21s the likes of Brad Smith he's is is an absolutely incredible talent common true if if he progresses the same way Flanagan has with the same application Flanagan is going to have have his fearless his shorts being talked as well with his kids so you know we're seeing a bit of competition come true like what you said around Enrique and Sessoko if you could get in a top class left back I wouldn't have an issue with seeing those two go out if Flanagan and a top class fallback error options going into next season I I've never seen Cara Cara as a Champions League final player but he was right and then I see I see Flanagan there as well I see that the same passion I see the same technical ability that's not so good but it's getting there but it's not so good and that's pretty much similar to what Cara had as well Cara was never the fastest he was never the the the most technical play out there he wasn't very flamboyant but he did the job and he was in a he was in Istanbul right so I see Flanagan was there as well I see Flanagan very much a younger version of Cara Cara the same passion the same the same mentality yeah well I'm I'm right behind John Lugar Flan brought on himself so I'm gonna move it on there too I'm gonna move it on there too right I'm starting and we'll move it up the fetch a bit now in fairness to the kid he looked imperious at various times and then drifted out of others he was playing the point of that midfield diamond so was his absences from the match at times in being a fish out of water or should he be commended for the fact that he is tactically flexible as a player we saw him knocking filane off the ball and although on the day that possibly wasn't that tough and winning a lot more against other physically dominant midfielders and upshot is we've got wonderful options now to rotate him and continue. Niall how do you feel that Sterling did in that diamond yeah I was pleased with Sterling I think something that's talked about a lot with Sterling is his game intelligence and I think that was shown on on from the particularly off the ball if you watch Sterling an off lane he's not highly rated by man people apart from always but he never had time to turn on the ball he's probably not capable of turning on the ball but you know what I mean our Sterling was always on him Harold Hasselin I'm Sam and Carrick lots of United play well traditionally most of the United play goes through Michael Carrick he was anonymous for most of that game I think a lot of that was to do with Sterling as well and then also on the ball maybe he didn't have as much joy as he had in previous games but I think he keeps play ticking over that's another thing he's got a lot better at this season is his ball retention maybe towards the beginning of last season he just wanted to get the ball and take people on but that's something Rogers has installed or has instilled him I think he played a key role in the first family or Swart or Raphael Dan Ball he played a nice involved out to the stage on the wing who found the Suarez so um I like I actually think um Sterling suited that role I like the idea of having them continue to bring off the bench for the last 15 minutes then yeah I was really impressed with uh Sterling again on Sunday yeah um Lee do you feel it's starting to go he's gonna it should be starting uh all the time irrespective of whether it's the point of a diamond or on the right of a three at the moment given the current squad yeah I believe he's an absolutely nailed-on-starter because he has he has the pace to absolutely boring a fall back on either wing it doesn't matter and then as we've seen they're just the past Sunday like he actually does have the tactical flexibility to play at the play the head of a diamond and hassle defensive midfielders off the ball I believe that's what Rogers wanted him for the fact that he does have a bit more of a propensity to actually chase back and you know Harry for the ball and off a lot more than well not even a lot of a lot more but a little bit more than Catinio would even you know Catinio still is more of an act of a number 10 who hasn't you know who would rather flow in his space between the defense and the midfield uh the opposing defense in the midfield but uh Sterling seemed to Sterling at 100 is actually very deep as flaining a character way to advance forward like you know and try to advance the whole formation forward Sterling was right back in there he had no problem running back into around the center circle and trying to hurry the ball back but you know that said oh you still thought that is influenced Wayne for you know intermittent periods of the game and I think that his best place is still out wide obviously but as I said but you know it's great having the tax great having the tactical flexibility something that Sterling and you know like we said before that flanging offers as well like the fact that a player that can play in multiple positions is worth its weight and goal like for sure it seems you very much a Brendan Rogers prototype is a player who has that sort of adaptability about him Paul and for you for the last nine is it very much kind of a rotation between Joellen Catinio and Sterling or is there some of those that you or so any of those that you start in each game yeah I think Sterling has to start really and I prefer him at wide like he he was kind of he he was kind of steady rather than really spectacular yeah creative renting the match but like Lexan like if you're talking on its own kind of merits that is well John Joellen's accident accident so good sir Jesus Christ that the heart's gone to show you accident or Joel's could you play your choreography well like if you look if you just looked at his performance like he would like he did a good tactical job but he wasn't like really kind of creative rented but when you consider the fact that he's 19 and he's that he's only played what I think was half an hour or something against Southampton in that position he showed a lot of moral courage there hi boys no he's gonna finish up one more on three that's all a fucking aim and don't be pen drawn as well okay um coming back to come back to the team again and looking at some of the characters on the day Suarez and Sturridge neither of them particularly brilliant on the day there was a lot of possession cuffed up or in the box so Miss Chances so even if the two of those are our form and we still managed to put three past United it's not saying a lot about us or is it saying more about them Suarez even when things weren't coming off it was lovely to watch again as per usual wonderful effort how did we feel or how are we feeling about our front two going into the last nine so you can only feel like the happiest spot can walk the air it's like there's no two ways about it two lads like Sturridge Sturridge is having one of those days I remember getting similar to the Arsenal FA Cup game where he gets two chances early on that you would put your mortgage on that he's going to bang one of them away and it doesn't come off now I don't you don't even ever get the feeling that it's not going to be one of the days from even though he didn't score you always felt another chance by fault when he'd score it again and Suarez just plows and plows and plows and even when the guy pulls off that wonderful save you just know that that just made him angrier so when he did score the goal it was he just he just erupts in merriment and runs to the stripper then and and celebrates with the United advance they're just so happy to see him you know it's just the biggest smile I tell you I was breaking his bollocks laugh and I thought it was fucking dead me it's the point it's the point thing that does is it is something it's such an it's top coning with it's so much of a coning thing yeah yeah he's just he's scared to play the blind and that celebration is what the skirt there he's just turning Suarez into a large human penis the one thing to say at that time I don't stay scared it was plain as an auxiliary center for I don't know if anyone noticed this every time he seemed to go forward scared was on the edge of the box we're going what the how do you do what do you want to do what if you want but like make sure you're back and then obviously he's back scared it was a man possessed I've never seen him put Tony in a before he was really just obsessed with destroying you know it on on Sunday and it has to be commended fair play the way he actually managed the way when real when they all failed the real he just had the edge of the box then the way he fought themselves I don't like job to claim in front of a shotgun like oh that fucking meant I tell you what right if going back to everything that Rogers has said a bit scared now we're talking about storage and Suarez but but it's worth pointing out again he's he's big the mobile season long has Brendan right and you can actually see a guy playing with a massive amount of confidence at the moment even if he is loyal to the other he hasn't made one for a while touch what he doesn't make one of the next season but like he's got to be commended for for you know never letting the head go and and getting on with his game and trusting in himself to deliver and he delivered big time at the end of the day it's great to have it here and laugh and enjoy the fact that that you know it are going through a hudginess period in their history it's phenomenal stuff right but we have to remember that they were a seventh place team and we treated them as a seven place team and that's that's that's and that for me is is a new sort of line of mental thought that Liverpool have and they haven't had for such a long time and storage and Suarez are integral to giving us that because we believe that we can score against anyone and those two boys will do the job against anyone in that league and if you have that belief in you you believe you can win matches and that that's on you from just being a mid-table team to what we are in there we'll just champions elect and stay with fucking hell i didn't even notice that fucking hell jesus christ that's clearly isn't well um look i don't i don't look i don't want to have on these knob jockeys for too long but let's be honest it is good fun isn't it to enjoy being the shit out you know in their own patch and we wouldn't be livable fans if we didn't wallow in a little bit it is brilliant to see that guy taking them down from the end so i just like Hodgson did to us we you know you must be enjoying it jaggery oh i love it absolutely love it but you know what the well you know what about as sort as a studies point um does anybody want to talk about the uh dive though yeah go ahead yeah that's interesting go on because i know what i said yeah you know in a good old days when the united used to win the league right they used to have this sort of ranking players would always used to dive calculatively right and then they used to it went about oh well you know we used to do it um ruthlessly because we used to we used to uh make sure that we just make uh get a go right and so when when finding when one was does it everybody goes bonkers everybody goes mad about how unfair livable ladies and yeah i mean have you seen the on twitter bot uh livable poop so many god ones there's a world of fun there jad mark latin pill chicken pill bitch club is still like that's the fucking worst one yeah and and i i mean that's that was i think in the kick was panellico getting a penalty out of a dive in old truffled geist yeah oh that was that's beautifully right yeah i fucking pissed myself laugh when i saw that i was like you know i still got up out of the chair yes fucking panell and i saw that dive and your my voice is still gone from the laughter like you know why people kind of like oh we'll kind of scare it we'll we'll we'll scare it over that like you know one of our players that fucking every time has players who dive okay enjoy it that was hilarious and the fact that they should have had a pen i was well i think that's brilliant the best thing about that dive is it wasn't Suarez if that was Suarez the only thing in the papers for the for all it wouldn't have been tree nail or anything would have been there's more than scott in the front of the phone for any what it would have been what it would have been would have been Suarez dived and won and never people won the game because Suarez dived but because of storage it gets classed over it's more it's the reflection is back on moiz and his inability and that's exactly what you want actually my favorite part of it the whole thing was danny sturge all heard you failing to respond to your man losing the fucking slava you're ashamed you should be ashamed you should fanny's not even looking at him i think he doesn't give up dawson give a shit i've got pandy pop your fucking job it's wonderful it's wonderful so now to be fair we could have had at least and it wouldn't be a stretch that filani won at the start on Suarez and definitely there was another ferric the carrigs failed on on on storage could be another two pandy so you know at the end of the day we've hardly we've hardly had the rub the green there what do you think now yeah that's true i just want to go back to the storage guys there the reaction i was hoping he'd just get up and start dancing in front of it i'll go with that a bit but yeah also um i think it's worth noting the interpretation of the diving as well it was the diving you could all say it was the dive but i just think it's interesting the way um uh Rooney went uh basically jumped into the skirt looking for a penalty yeah uh later on in the game it was a clear dive though i think um it comes down to where it really where the directory buys it because they obviously the two of them are dives i just think it's interesting like um and if you can get away with it why not that's why i look at it yeah so i'm not going to turn down a penalty at all traffic i don't care if it's a dive or not well that's exactly yeah i think um the tachlan carrig that was a still mod penalty but uh but then to be honest i had just given up any hope of getting another penalty so i wasn't even angry i just didn't expect it it was just like it's not going to get far definitely no no it's not far from do you know what do you know what even better do you see the banner of um the denied fans unveiled for kratenborg at shalcy before oh chickens coming home to roost what was it just did it about oh it was something i best uh uh referee lead our legends it was what he remember he sent off terry and ours uh in taurus was it they mentioned the first time and then they and then it's a spoof on the terry banner and they were um they were seeing chanten for him before saying we won clattinburg yeah i could see ref didn't give them a panel hey he's gonna have him every week he's fucking cunts if ever there's there's there's the sign of a crumbling empire is when you get three penalties given a home against you in a place where you couldn't boy a penalty for ten years that's a very bloody good point actually yeah thank god for mark clattin pool then and i want to move on to i want to uh stevie i want to help with stevie before we finish our review uh look rogers needs a lot of credit here for the way that he's he's kind of managed him stevie there during the week or was it maybe he was even today talking about how he's his best man manager and all the managers that he's had over the years and as we go to the business end of this season like last season stevie's in pretty imperious form looks like the leader that he is um we must be enthusedly about having this guy perform at the peak of his abilities under running yeah the peak of his abilities i kind of feel bad actually comment on this because i go fucking four months ago i was about to start literally saying oh yeah no no not not a big game player anymore no i'm just playing at home against the sheer teams now we feel like a roy fucking moppy thanks thanks brian and rogers thanks for being such a fucking great coach and essentially converting a shopping game never defend it's not such a terrible thing roger's end uh kane is there there's anybody remember about stevie giving the challenge in the field jones and field jones sat down there like mo like a mutt oh yes john john's looked like he walked in and his fucking mind are riding there's some crisis absolutely shell shock how eloquent yeah like going back to it's like um i i i sat here i'm uh i said at the start of season i thought we would have been better without stevie driving the team and because we would at the time we would but roger's really does need to be commended for it this is two seasons on the spin that his management to gerryard has resulted in gerryard second half of the season being at the level of form that we've had at stevie up to awake on nine when when raffle was in charge in terms of his influence and his his overall in import to the way we're planning to get areas like and he's he's torn them into a real leader now one thing that gerryard has as as rightfully being criticized with it over the years is that he hasn't been like what you'd see as a vocal leader on the pitch he's he's a man possessed this year and it's this one before we were even talking to the toilet but not just our own players he's managing the referee too yeah it was about to show that constant of ref is talking immaculate he's just in his ear from middle at once after the raffle i attacked a clandberg was nearly apologizing to him little slap in the air he's sorry for not sending the moths he oh that's a guy i think i i think you know ever since around the derby where he he was he like his position was switched back i think that kind of focused on my bit obviously there was the disaster against villa but after that he kind of regrouped himself and i think after we smashed everything he kind of he could smell the blood like he why he said oh jesus actually we could fucking win the toilet here and i think i think it's kind of rejuvenated him a bit because he was really he was going through emotions the first half of the season like i wasn't by accident all the like a lot of Liverpool fans were saying that he should have been dropped or whatever like that's what i wanted him to be dropped like to get a kick of the arse because like obviously he showed at the second half of last season that he does have a lot to offer when like when his head's there but like i just said ever since the derby like he just he like like he said he's been a man possessed like i think the one argument and i think it's a valid argument and it also coincides with lucas' injury is that you put joallen and jordan hemerson or cutinio alongside him and he's got runners all around him and he can he can he doesn't have to focus on getting up and down the pitch anymore he can just focus on learning how to be a defensively fielder and go going back to a point that we're talking about what can you see john Flanagan being a rifle in a champion's league side right well can you see steven dryer being a defensive midfielder in a champion's league side in the majority of games yes once he has those bodies alongside him we will need another player and i firmly believe we need another specialist defensive midfielder because you know you won't get fifty fifty three games out on the season but we will need him and he will be still the leader of the state next year yeah chagga player i'm i'm particularly fond of and in no direct relationship to his ability just i just like the kid and i was like his attitude is is lucas but it's not looking good for lucas in terms of getting into that world cup squad because you can't really see him getting his game certainly getting this start between and the end of the season the way steven's playing can you i don't think i i i i i i'm with you i don't see lucas coming back uh immediately though with which tv there like that i'm you're right yeah i'm what would you would you agree or do you think it's just handy to have him there that he can do 20 minutes for us to be ever so often yeah i agree i can't see um lucas starting i mean well baron injury of course i can't see lucas getting back into the side i think um just want to make one point on jared i think um you can see this season i think he trusts the team that's a lot more um we're saying earlier how um maybe in season come by he like jared would try and do everything he taught like you know i i better do something here we're not going to win this game whatever i think now he realized that he has the quality clears around him i think um he appreciates the role allen and henerson play in the mid field because it makes his job easier and then of course and he's always full of praise for uh so ours and serge up front and rightly so i think that's also had an impact on jared this year the fact that he knows there is quality around him and he doesn't have to do it all in his own anymore and now do you think it's that or do you think it's maybe that he's had a bit of a realization about his own you know you know the the age cashing up on a little bit perhaps what he's we used to be capable of doing he's not anymore and that that's all feeding into to his sort of as you say trust of his teammates yeah cool also something to do without a forest experience has come into it as well you know he's been around the black mouth you know he probably knows he doesn't have the legs anymore he has the time has runred whatever but i think um jared has been over the past few months i think he's been absolutely brilliant he's been um he's probably been that's why he's probably been the most impressive michaeler in the premiership i don't know maybe someone could correct me without him but i think he's been able to go to anybody these last few months yeah not here sorry we go with that no you're starting to walk for us well he did say though in his interview though he did say that he was uh he was fleeing young being around young guy said but he was also saying that the young guys were doing all his running as well so he did he did admit it so yeah there's an acknowledgement of that yeah yeah so if you remember after the villa match like you remember where he was completely overrun like it was a real shock don't we said after the match that he'd like he he wouldn't mind like he wouldn't have any complaints if he was dropped and ever since then he's been really kind of focused in that defense of midfield position like yesterday um i think flannigan was the most exposed over our fallbacks and yanazai went went past him twice and twice it was jared tracking back inside flannigan and uh tuk tuk yanazai yeah that's massive yeah yeah so like he he really has grown in speak speaking of frankness he did admit afterwards that he was possibly a bit cocky on the torrid penalty would you paul have any cruises enough to know not really yeah which got a we may have had a few words we may really wanted him to score a hatchet at ultra i've read me had a few words for chairman to reason that book just so i had to eat at a moment stuff but head now what's going like like he said he was caught i didn't say any cockiness in it really he just went for the corner again like his first two penalties were brilliant and right inside the pulse so why not okay theory though theory about that now imagine now imagine actually scarred in a hat trick at all traffic imagine what that does today but moist he's taking if i scarred as he might get sacked go point go point go point see where you're going to see maybe are we going back to the wound he missed against blackboard he broke against the reverse reverse huh okay let's move it on to our card of preview then like all games over the next nine three points is going to be a must here if we are going to have a chance at this title that we're all sort of dreaming about carlith have been a little bit on the up of light they're going to be as hungry to win as we are for different reasons and we can't afford to slip up so how do we approach it in shame in terms of the shape and the tactics um our diamonds forever or our diamonds going to get abandoned and then we go back to a different sort of a mid-field look um jag what are your thoughts on how we might look against carlith in time to shape and tactics i i i'm pretty daffod comes when he comes to tactics so i'm going to let the other guys talk about this i have my own fucking magic i like that now i'm going to come straight to you for all you think the the the the wrecking the diamond stays or do you think we're going to go to a different setup i recommend all the same again i think it's worked for Southampton United um i thought i had to play against everything they're laughing they were actually decent enough they were unlucky maybe not to come over the point but um i think the way we're playing now i expect it's to be everybody it's come back to that feeling they had back in uh oh wait on time towards the end of the season where you just you're just full of confidence going into every game uh i can't see any reason to change it i expect uh maybe we might go back to a flat four three three maybe uh starting might come out to the left again and either one of florida then certainly pushed out of the right but i think it'll be the same person as the same 11 that started again against united yeah fernoff um paul what do you think i mean uh you know is is it gonna stay the same i it's dv journey where he was talking about how brendan has been tinkering he is the word but using a very positive context talking about how successful it's been he was he was he was there in awe of it um do you see more tinkering or do you see uh consistency well i hope so i hope we got back to four three three yeah i think it's our best formation and i think like i know like the the diamond has worked it's two three nail victories away from home on the belt so in that sense it's hard to kind of argue with it but i think you get more out of storage and swar is when you know i think it's more geared to creating for them a four three three years rather than i think we force it into them in that time and i kind of expect them to like a lot of our attacking was you know them running at the united defense and having to kind of try and beat them themselves whereas you know if you have the three midfielders behind them and staring out on one side and then one of them out on another side like i think it gives us a better kind of variety of attack so i i got the four three three and yeah we should we should be smashing card yeah filled with you being great in polar um i don't give a shit anymore to be honest with you really once once we win i fucking we're gonna shoot tactics all season long we can play any shape and and we're capable of winning the game for me it again it comes down to midfield and like we've talked about steve we didn't talk about jordan henderson or joelyn in in the view and it's worth mentioning that the two guys are going to have another huge role again to play in in a way match and i wouldn't change those two in there for this game because the way to keep us pressed to hoy up the pitch being able to pin flames back in windball windball in their half that allows the light of swareas and stairland to create openings and storage to get shots and chances away that for me will be fundamental in another way again because card of look card of haven't been great um but they've got good players there and you know it's it's going to be a noisy stadium as as as as card of always is and they'll be well up to try to get points out of this because they what they can see that doesn't escape possible um because anyone in that bottom seven could go down at this point in time and i just think that we need to we need the same sort of midfield mentality that that we had against um you know in on sunday and if if henderson plays to that level again and joe allen plays to that level or even 90% of that level we'll have too much for the midfield and that will give us the platform that we need to win whether we played a diamond or whether we play as as as a tree up front i don't think it really matters that much to me in terms of how we we set up against card of because i think if our midfield tree whichever way it's going to be because the diamonds is a form a tree anyway you know what i mean they then we will have enough to get at them yeah it's interesting you talk about how we pass uh sorry brushed over um henderson and allen um in the end of your view because we do expect only from jordan henderson this constant level of performance and it's we only kind of remark on the kid when he doesn't bring it uh to the table uh with allen in that in the diamond thing just to speak about the the specifics of that for a second i have to say i might much prefer him in a more conventional tree than than that i don't like him when he's pushed on to the left i think he finds it hard to set and enter the game there was evidence that last day and then he grew into the game as a went on i i i'll let's say about allen is swansy boy against cardifam at the weekend he is going to be like a man who can possess them that pitch you can put him in any position you'll probably play every single position on the pitch like genuinely like that that's why i wouldn't i'm not i'd definitely play him in this game and for every reason the flanigan wants to bash the hair off united and on sunday jarl allen will have the bit between his teeth to get out and destroy cardifam this weekend so yeah that's what i i agree with travel as well don't i think allen's better in a normal mid field than in the diamond like the diamond like they they kind of you know that i think it was okay again someone like you noted where you're going to need to work a lot but i think the diamond kind of reduces aden and Henderson's role a lot to just kind of run and whereas i think in a more conventional mid field i think allen is able to influence the game more but i don't i don't disagree with you i'm just saying i look i i don't i think whatever formation we line up against cardifam for more than capable and i always smash them don't worry i always can't say it over the volume that that is i never didn't want to get out of the diamond though i think that was most yeah cheers lads in the car now yeah no no it's fucking what i wanted to talk about it like honestly no as far as tactics go i'm a bit of a remedial but what i've been looking at recently now was just there when i'm looking at the diamond again seltanthon the reason i think what i just meant with the diamond and pushed the mid fielders out void was to probably not avoid the effect of the charge and fullbacks which is what which is the way seltanthon move their entire formation forward that was the way to combat it and it's just to try and cut the supply lines to the loyce of the lana and rod regas and from what i could see against united as well a lot of a lot of what to do with the diamond was it wasn't even so much about setting up the beat the other thing it was more like more like nullifying them i think what he did he used the energy of alan and henderson to push up to push back a lot of the times as part of seltanthon for running but the main part was the fact that when they were dealing they're running it was out void null of void of wingers and the fullbacks that were charging forward for united i think rod just anticipated in many ways that wise was going to try to put the defense and the pressure of picking crosses and that's what he managed to do he managed to actually strangely you know generally a lot of teams would poi look the mid field to try and you know null of void other teams roger seemed to actually pack the wings out that's what i think its whole plan was it those little those uh those little kind of like i read a piece on the epl index earlier about and it actually made an awful lot of sense they had you know a couple of circles in front of the fullbacks for the wear flannigan and johnson would have been when the when the wingers got forward and henderson were always out there to decide to try and take the botlet to crowd out the winger of the fullback to the one and try and win the ball back and break that was what i think it was about now coming to card if as regards formation we don't think we need to worry about that so much we don't think that card if i have the players in the void area is to have the ability to do back on the damage so going back it's just caught something to our par said i would probably switch to a four three three as well and i'll feel what actually was going to take continue with them every way force 11 for that and i'd certainly take allen out of the force 11 i put continue and i thought that he'd be able to thread a few more balls shoot to the four and three i thought that i thought that we have like even then in a way game we would have a bit more freedom in the pitch than we would have actually had all traffic to you know i just would continue in a way games from out of fun that we've seen this season i think he was more a better player coming on as a soba on sunday than he has been and starting those games because i think i think continues struggled a bit in the way games this year and i think we've mentioned it a few times as well and i think again you could see the impact if you send them on with 20 minutes to go and the teams are fading or he gets more space to play in the ball yeah just a little acknowledgement there if that was the remedial tactical cluster uh the ferp idea i don't know you can qualify for school so ferp idea that's good work um now would you speak to us a little bit about what we can uh what we need to be wary of with regards to card of uh it's they seem to be some strong and set pieces for example um where we aren't always so good at defending um what aspects of the card of team would you be wary of yeah i think the set piece is a good point i think that uh probably going to be card of main trek um during the weekend i think um a player Fraser Campbell he's uh obviously not the most prolific striker but he has a great leap in the air i think that's something we love to go through um because set pieces then we've been found wanting sometimes this season um i think also um Rogers made it take into consideration the fact that we've a lot of games coming up now thanks to this um game in hand against Thunderland i think it's that we have three three games and it's seven days eight days of this so um perhaps um that's uh one of the reasons as well why uh i personally wouldn't start continue because i think uh continue as you said before he makes um a big impact in the home game so i think then Rogers will be looking at those two home games against Thunderland and spirit as maybe then continue and come back and decide for that but um yeah kind of uh to be honest um as Nadra said i think we should have too much for them um obviously they're dangerous from set pieces but i think um it's at the stage of the season now where we know what we can do so it's just all about going into every game having their heads right make sure we're out there and do a job if we turn up then we should have too much for them yeah i'm sorry Bo go ahead yeah like my one grave worry about this match is that while we're smashing character for the park okay they've a player called Craig Nune who roofed Steven Gerett's house and we're gonna have to never heard up for it we're gonna have to listen to the commentary fucking banging about this all and it's five mill Liverpool here where Craig Nune who once actually roofed Steven Gerett's house like they cannot resist it and they mention it i mean ten times every game that's my fucking grave worry for this match it used to be a roofer it used to be a roofer wouldn't be great if you play for a week and watch fuck one of them would be great if you didn't come at a day break a day we're in the story about when he broke his leg in the half way cook yeah yeah yeah i can bring you in here chief what are you thinking in terms of uh Cardiff and anything we need to be worried about and if you're not particularly worried you can segue like knarled it in there into what you think the uh line up will be i'm sorry you're talking about a lineup right now yes yes sorry mate first of all Cardiff what are your what are your what are your words worries or anxieties about it's a card i think i said i think the set pieces are going to be a worry as well and i think it could be a case for cycle to come in for set pieces uh although scuttle has been excellent with past few games there's always been there's always an excellent head reading happen as well in scuttle and when it comes to set pieces um so it might be a case of bringing cycle in that's the only thing i can think of right now sure sure okay right um let's get around the table and let's get some predictions for how we think it's going to go um there's been some pretty upbeat talk here so i'm expecting some uh some big scorelands uh jag we've got you in line so we'll keep you there what do you think in terms of score prediction for a score um three nil livable three nil that's that's beautiful um now where are you gonna live yeah i'm gonna go two now two now okay paul i got three one three one okay lee gone four now four now four now yeah what was it we think that we think we're on a good one for a farm now we're a four game winning streak on beating the 24th and we really really would like to put character into the fucking ground actually because you know you know yeah going out by there like have a bit of fun yeah yeah absolutely that's like i can get behind that um felt where you go with this i got my traditional win for character four nil thank god for that right okay that's us then let's move on to our listeners questions uh who are basically most of the answers that are offered by our friends here are going to be edited out by field scissors hands over there but we should say this and this needs to go into this pod so that everyone can hear this you people are brilliant and you send us in these fantastic mentalist questions and you don't hear them and the only reason you don't hear them is because the guys here cannot be trusted to speak at length of any topic would have gone into fucking libelous territory so that's the only reason i like that's that's just general pod acknowledgement i'm gonna edit out no you're that's too good of a gag and you can't resist it okay uh first up is from support sport and belief and he wonders bizar one why are shoe sizes not universal across different brands fucking hell boy yeah come on no i did you've got no idea well they're right down the side numbers don't they maybe they're robots have different feet it pisses me off with football boots you're never saying like you're i don't really notice that much but runners but you know football boots so you have you can buy a size nine paranoia or something and they fit around then you buy size nine predators and they don't yeah nearly i like they they just about fit you like what do you do that i don't understand ourselves that's why they do is a fucking person because that's the concise answer that's important because german feet are different to american feet why are you trying to feed different that makes no sense i've been in an end of coming what's the distinctive feature of a german photo yes exactly so it's thinner he's chris i think about the temple bar charts and eight you were all fucking pointless fucking oh what are we thinking about those pictures of temple bar with all the green hat at once why would you hell do like god oh definitely green hat you're getting cut coated into a fucking bear pit that's what fucking action full on full on you know no patching the steps i operate yeah next one is from sashank and sashank's wandering if liverypool's first team corresponded to hollywood actors uh who would be who so basically who do you have what deliverable pair of minds you're representing hollywood actor in your head i know god he sheds here there's something bad come in here i can feel go on i'm gonna i'm gonna go with the eddie milky foster ridge i'd go away to caprio for jerett because you know he's with brilliant and all but then you know there's that one thing he has in one that all the fucking dickheads and shut up without it's got that right down there to caprio oh i got i got an end i was like why are you gonna tell everyone an oscar why didn't you in an oscar yeah i i got with wadie harrelson for mini like oh explain explain your logic this nose is fucked up what the fuck i was expecting something way deeper than that oh no it's okay right i either i i don't know if you don't have a shot here um i'm going with jordan handerson and tilda swinton yes i think she had the hair yeah definitely you think tilda with a jordan haircut okay totally totally weird one from nick here he's got an unusual choice for me i really have no idea what nick is thinking here but he wants to know would you rather always have your shoelace is undone like all the time or every time you put your hands in your pockets it would be full of carrots that is just brilliantly mental and for me it's obviously going to be shoelace i'd rather fall over seven or eight times a day than have carrots in my pocket so i'm an oh cd kind of a twelfth paul no no yeah i can't be doing with the carrots now yeah i'd have to see your other guys i had a risk injury or what did i risk injury as well okay next one is from paul and paul is wondering this is this is a continuing theme if all animals and insects were the same size which one would win a tournament style to the death contest so basically if they're all even there in size which creature is gonna win anyone got a shed here i'm going with um one of those uh you know those joint elephant dung beetles right okay why is that because they're not joined anymore mate that's the point well they are because they're all the same size so we are we blowing them up or reducing everything's the same size but if you reduce everything down to the soil is gonna beat the elephant beat it's gonna beat the head off you it's it's near it's near impregnable it's already that are cockroach those things can survive nuke or holocaust you're not taking one of them down the only thing that has a chance against it is a monkey with a knife but but it can't fight for a shit it can defend itself it has a big huge snippers on the top of the thing and a confloy it's like a confloy it's like a confloy it's like a confloy it's like a confloy it's like a confloy it's like a confloy it's like a confloy it's like a confloy cheers it's like a joint crawling cheers when you used to watch robot wars right they used to try make just one of these things all the time they'll go around killing everything so now yeah an elephant beat will kill everything in a room jag can you can you improve on elephant beat will me no man i'm just with that i'm no i'm not okay you know if you know if the don't beat will go blind up what he keep his big ball of shit that he can roll on that beat will be because that would be a shell and who the first kind of fighting every all the other animals at forfeit yeah he wants you at 11 right next one is what's the best invention ever jag what's your favorite invention i'm gonna i'm gonna go with a serious spin on this i think the best invention so far is twitter oh yes without it because without it i wouldn't be here talking to you guys at three four a.m but there's an obvious downside to that name yeah okay thanks brought a tear into me i'll chat Paul goes shed for the best invention ever salt and chili chicken wings oh that's a that's pretty high up there Lee the best invention now i know how to make me sound extremely boring yes well i am extremely boring so my favorite invention i think this is the great stage and slow actually now this is slow each breath this is exactly what it is the Dyson air blade hand drawer so i'm not sure something that draws your hands so quickly like it's like it's like a reverse microwave for your hands like it's fucking amazing is that the thing in the pub jack's like yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah i think on the wall and like yeah where you put your hand down in it and the thing like a faw that doesn't change and they don't mess about them they they're probably gonna say it's a bill if i get a forward and then things if i get a forward and then things they would be in my bathroom if i was a professional football or it would be endorsed in the bollocks out of that thing what is the hair blade it's good right we're all sizing each other up here because the question from gray is if you had a fight this is all of us here uh who'd be champion Trev oh he has that mango colchy string that that all the colchies have that is probably true they're all born with this kind of nookle dragon string even if Trev was loose not one stage like he'd reach into like a little backpack in the corner and you would pull it up a day oh hey how do you fucking power it up you wouldn't turn it up you've got go see power oh Christ alive okay next one is a kind of this is gonna go to it to a feature we might bring in eventually Lucy is asking us a question about how her family hates football and she wonders what she should do now i don't know about you guys killed my family hey football that's really that's an really impact of my life at all and i haven't had to murder anyone like so what what what to be saying are you any any else got football hating families yeah kill cocks out no you just you can't get them i've tried everything to get them involved in football right bringing them to matches trying to get them involved in the game the the excitement and the hold on they just don't get it right so if they don't get it i'll watch fucking rugby well we put that like we enjoyed that as well but again i'm the only one that watch starting to have so do you know the best thing to do then is is make them sit through documentaries on the television well why why is that even documentaries that you find boring it's it's a way of like you know you you there's some stupid soap opera or something on the television so what you do then is go you know to get them out controlled hunters you find something to watch on television find the most boring documentary on it right something like i don't know fucking watching the time stamp of an ant or something like that right for an hour and just put it on and refuse to turn it off and say no no this is educated they got really committed to being a bollocks like oh commit to it like if you're not going to watch football and enjoy football then i'm going to make your life a hell when football is not on television that's that's interesting that's interesting that's a jag if you got a football loving or hating family um i've got three girls and a wife who couldn't give a fuck but football so i i'm with Lucy maybe we set up with just a club that we can all go to we all seem to be in the same boat here next one's from ray and ray says this is a bit it upbeat and morbid at the same time what song would you pick for your own funeral but ray has a stipulation it must be a tv theme tune which kind of does put a little bit of a little bit of a spanner in the works don't even give this any talk i'd say you know as the pallbearer has put me kind of coffin down at the top of the church and you know they're they turned to walk off if they had the bill music and then maybe a camera someone would have come apart or filmed in the back of their feet like i'm a photo of reg on your coffin it's not really a media oh yeah yeah i find it to myself it's reg on him yeah oh no you can't stand okay right next one's from patty and patty should know better than to be asking me to answer this question so i'm not going to and he says if you and your partner or a wife switch bodies for a day would you have sex to see how it feels doesn't have to be with your partner though that yeah that's kind of a clincher isn't it i i i tell her to get stuffed and play at me tits aren't i i just like wear bras and stuff just wear bras i think yeah it would be deadly like i i'd love to try get you know see what it's like to actually put mascara on and stuff like that i know how to do it feel that's that's part of a confession no but i'd have to be a woman today i wouldn't do it as a man but you've always wanted to make it but it doesn't look good like a look in the mirror and they're still just looking at me with makeup on when i hang out this this implies that you've seen it i have you excellent when did this happen and in college wednesday i'm dressed up as mrs moist best of luck no best of luck you were a beast earlier like let's move on this is from last stop and he asks who's the first man united player that you'd make walk down Grafton street wearing only a 2-2 on a strap on dildo it's raffle l is the answer to that i'm not i'm not taking any other answers what a horrible little twat that guy is i hate him okay last question then is from joe pepper joe has another face off sort of aggressive well it's a good one because we could we could make it happen it could happen joe asks who would win a bear knuckle fight between the four major as he calls them lfc pothouse that's me near lakinson how are you go and john ritty who's winning that's crap and a bear knucklefoot well i'm just gonna judge me by the potato power pothouse not in my opinion cold cold she's trying to win zoop i think you've been with a fair show actinson's a big boy don't yeah yeah you'd need some tactics that you'll be you'd be drawn on all your cold she's trying to take it down i fight like james panda it doesn't make a difference yeah okay interesting okay it's a mixed in like some old joe against fucking cocoa beware the board man i have no idea what i knew that man okay lastly then some admin the hjc cup island is this saturday in the astral park dublin's primary five-sided venue near the most important thing on the night would be the auction for the hjc so make sure to bring your wallets on the line we have former guests and irish cop fumbles driver jerry cane to fill us in more about what's going on so jerry what can you tell us about the day yeah so the day would be starting out last week the astral park where you got yourself and 11 o'clock to two o'clock we've just played the floor tournament going on and we're looking so far i think we've about a hundred people participating in it so we're actually on a real good tour and out there and we've actually a team of as well some of the live on cold ladies they were going out there coming out to participate you know as well so fantastic and that's that's going to kick out there 11 o'clock that will run to two and then we're going to shift everyone up then to the cochlear mess pub where they're going to have the match on for a second then we're going to have the carter match on they're going to travel out with a finger filled with stuff like that and as soon as that's over then we're going to get cracking with the raffle and the auction there so there's some real good poison there like we sawing sawing stuff there from robbie fell up from jerry carter going out some real good stuff jerry is short football dv days of the hotel stays and fill the drink hamper and things like that real good poison fantastic sounds about as it's good but it'll be able to get down after that in the cochlear mess and so lovely beer love you drink and session down after that go man jerry kamir is is um if if you're not at the the game can you still come along to the the match and the auction and so forth or anyone is more of a welcome just because he can't play the football don't we think he can't come along tomorrow we can have the battery we're going to have to see the column from the hipster just because i'm playing coming over there as well so we should be saying if he awards it should be helping us out with the the presentations and think like that after though like tomorrow we have there the battery you know the beer raffle takes us on sale at the pub brilliant the fill will be gone the drink will be gone it'll be going day up brilliant stuff brilliant yeah well as you say it's all
