We witnessed in our time watching LFC and it's a really any competition for Antonio Nunez Now I'm gonna start here. Mine is a perpetually winded little topster hands on his hips miles off the pace The magnificently waffle Joey called simply put he was a festering boil on the scabies infected Hudson era You can tell I've written that then and I'm gonna come now to Simon Furnable for his shout about the right hand side I don't think there is any competition for Antonio Nunez really, but just to mix it up a little bit I've gone for somebody who sometimes played up front sometimes played white on the white on the right and was Wherever he played just a genuine generally unpleasant person and that's Elhaj Dufe. Love it You know one cost ten million from lawns since we signed him instead of Nicholas and Elka and spat at Celtic fans and Generally had a terrible disciplinary record and then we ended up having to loan him to bolt and I think you yeah One of my most hated Liverpool players of all time, so yeah one of very few possibly the only Actual pool players come back to Liverpool and get booed Very very good point James Owens you've come in you might as well continue. Who's your chef? well Simon's out thought me that because I didn't think of you but mainly because I suppose obviously generally largely played so it was a forward but I Was gonna say and I will say panna Jermaine panna who wasn't you know I mean he's you know famously the player we didn't get because we couldn't get Danny Alves or Shimau or someone I can't remember now and You know less than if ever there was one that generally you get what you pay for and you pay for what you get Because he didn't cost a lot of money, but he you know he left for nothing He wasn't horrendous, you know, he had a certain amount of ability, but you know is that actually was piss poor I mean, I think you should have a bit of a tick wasn't he and you didn't score goals I don't mean the thing that one of the things that stands out for me about penning the guy's mentality You know, he was a first million pound teenager wasn't he when he went from Knox County to Arsenal? But like you know you always remember you see At the time it was one time when I went to match and I'd always buy a program that always have a pretty good interview the players And in the somewhere in there and they'd always ask you know who who's you know Who's the worst in training or who who always you know who gets fined most for turning up like it was always penning And there was one time where he was a player who fell out of raffin to be fair There was a few of those but there was I remember one time He said he'd get annoyed at raffin turn and get to the byline before you cross get to the byline before you cross And he said, you know, basically said in this interview Like, you know, is that a true to that was what kind of kind of not just play like this like the way I want to play And if it will be a fucking baller So just like you know the worst of like what you get with some English footballers Which is just a real fucking thick head of mentality. That's fair enough I love the stories is is girlfriend told about how it basically this model girlfriend would be ignored Well, he sat and played PlayStation surrounded by a semicircle of snacks, which I thought was a pretty fucking wonderful image And right next man up is Damian Floyd. What do you think right side? The one you picked already Joe Cole and Joe for Two useless tits and but I have to go with newness. He's the worst thing ever Well, I actually don't even think his name was Antonio known as might be an aunt on the agent or something Believe you just a made your character tends to be a footballer. He's like you want a competition or something to be a footballer and Absolutely shocking under force guy going. I said this lads from Madrid He's a bit about my obviously you have to have you against them and this force Ron He hasn't even touched the body. He's not fucking football. He was just all over the shop No, that's from me. He's shocking one of the Wolf's players ever and he actually played 27 games in the 2004 2004 season like you wouldn't want to try to like shock him My two choices were it was between newness and pennant and basically James just said word for word what I was gonna Say about pennant just there like you know He's a better player than known is but the actual was absolutely disgraceor and one of the interviewers with the pit players that James mentioned was with Derek Oi they asked them who's the worst at training and he said your main pennant He doesn't even tie his bootlaces And then there was newness like like he he did kind of try try and put in a shift or whatever But he was hopeless like he's a qualified lawyer or something like that. He probably should have fucking stopped Definitely want a competition Okay, I'll be on your show. Yeah, next up on my zen again cherry or appreciation team I was actually I was actually gonna say call until you said them But I'm gonna just be different about killing cuz for the same reasons just you know You expected so much of any never never ever delivered and very time to take go off me You know they what I agreed with myself and go for the best worst I really wanted a point known as in a cause you asked about this dial But I Thank you Okay I Right, it's time to move on to our Liverpool versus Aston Villa review and What did or didn't happen Saturday evening as a red man came back from two down and yet everybody seems hacked off But it's a fair word. They're not some positive points to draw from the game from the result Yeah I said to you when we were putting the agenda together I want to come in for some and see if if we could read out some positives at all from from Saturday's game I approached the game a bit different to most people. I didn't think we were gonna win it on a lot of averages We've won eight in the bouncer downfield. We were going into the ninth match We were going to revert to do at some stage we're gonna get a result Whether I would have rather drawn that that one done say draw to Mary's side there be whatever But I just I just I'll go into it that that that was the likelihood So if you take it if you look at the mentality We've talked about this before in terms of what's developing in the actual players. We were to kneel down fairly early on a relatively early in the game and We managed to go in a half time having got one back now What I fairly are not at that point because we could have been three or four down we managed to keep it to two Went in got a go back at just at a noise point just before the stroke at half time I came out and scored quickly in the second half It showed great a great sense that the team in a mental way has come together in terms of being able to Clawback games clawback results when when things are really when they're really up against the world that there's a bit of fight in them That in previous years wasn't there. I was disappointed as we command that we didn't push on actually win the game in the end Because I thought when we had got the two goals back we had Villa on the rack at that stage Rogers himself. Well, it took him a while to make the change He made the right change ultimately in terms of strengthening the midfield in terms of getting the players in there It's good to see that there's a there's an understanding now both from Rogers and Gerard if you're to believe what they're saying in the press That both are no longer think that Gerard is the second coming a pillow and will you know is unlikely to play that role again So the lessons that have been learned coming out of that game could serve us to actually improve our position and improve our Owning in terms of the lessons being learned here for the actual game So is there positive? Yeah, there is positive a top Raheem Sterling He struggled a bit against running Bertrand But he actually got his hat got the hold on Bertrand by the time the actual set the second half kicked off and in the end Bertrand went off in about sixty-five minutes or so it was and You know, it isn't doom and gloom. We still finished the weekend in fourth place You know, you'd still think that the fundamentals that don't that underset the team haven't been actually disrupted by a draw at home to Villa We picked up four points against Villa where last year we only picked up three points Had, you know Had we had you looked at this the stoke Everton and Villa game and said potentially we come out with seven points out of that game You want to take a look at that instance? So it's not our doom and gloom there is positive there It just we need to start to sit it up before we actually go into it fair enough And before we start them into what is obviously going to be a lot of negative stuff as well Simon front of the could you mind any more? Positivity added out for us before we before we get cracking on the on the gloom Yeah, I mean as Phil said the what the was positives to take from the game. I think you know that the biggest one that that I Saw what was the performance of Rahim Sterling who for me was man of the match You know Phil point out and just parrotting his points, you know, he came up against the tough talent challenging in around Bertrand and You know by the by the time Bertrand went off. He's kind of figured him out and you know Was was doing well against him storage getting another goal Is a big positive and loose Suarez going back to his absolute best form at diving and winning penalties is It was a you And it's that is that about as far as you can go when it comes to positivity for a son I think you know, yes, we did get a point from from a position that 12 months ago. We certainly wouldn't have done but You know, I think in terms of just taking that game in isolation that don't want more Negative some positives for me. Okay. Okay. Well, look, let's let's get straight into that down You've touched on and skirted around it there James Owens. Maybe you might talk to us about this Brandon Rogers team selection look People have called Oregon to people call it hubristic. It was certainly on balance at the start to show I did Mother fuckers Ward up, what's the language code you jobs? I actually feel like crying Fucking ingriks anyway, let's let's move along here. Yeah, James I'm getting back to you if you could please talk to me about brand selection It was human. It was unbalanced or as as Philip would say a good show. So what would you think? What was your what were your thoughts on it? Well, um The thing with the team select is I mean, well, there's a few elements here I mean the first it's all one and good talking about Gerald as the kind of the deepest of three midfielders in something kind of like a Lesser version of like, you know the event is kind of the event is triangle If you like, you know where you've got kind of two players are really energetic kind of box-to-box players pressing and then the principal creative play behind, you know, you know, you know, Gerald's not quite peel-o, you know, Alan and Henderson Let's say or Lucas and Henderson. I know we're near poverty in Vidal, but as a principal last fine put it in there in a two It's a different thing again. And then particularly when you know, you know, the two y players were more like wide forwards I mean, that's one thing another thing is I Don't know whether it was wise actually Particularly with a manager who's kind of as adaptable as Lambo, you know Guess his team playing a lot of different kind of a lot of different shapes and systems Whether it was wise to kind of make such a big show all week both Gerald after the stoke game and Rogers talking as much about Oh, Gerald's gonna be our kind of our deepest midfielder because if Gerald's gonna be sort of the principal creative player in a deep position We'll just get players around him because he's the three. He's not very quick. Yeah, that's one thing Another thing as well though is you can get it wrong with team slashes because then again as I said Lambo particularly is the kind of manager who can surprise you know We didn't know whether they were gonna play three in the back where they're gonna play kind of four three three They played four four two before they sort of played a diamond It's one thing to get it wrong at the start and it's one thing say as we did to have a slow five minutes Whether you're waiting even if they're big underdogs are the better side. That's one thing When you when you get to 10 15 minutes and still you're under the caution against the team who are normally a counter attack inside You've got to change it now. We didn't go behind until 25 minutes But we'd have worn enough to warn him from 48 seconds through to them hitting the the potion of corner time and again I mean in the end they scored from a counter attack You've got to give it a credit on the day video. We're excellent particularly the first time they were really really good, but At the same time, I mean, it's funny because normally they're actually got quite a decent away record They're just awful at home, but they kind of okay They scored one of the goals from a counter attack But the way they got it was was just by pressing and pressing and pressing So for me the problem was just that we kind of didn't change it He's made substitutions in games earlier, but even not that maybe a substitution bringing on someone like Alan or maybe Lucas But to not to have I think the problem was just being so slow to change it and I mean he did change it after the first goal So yeah, well look Damian Floyd to kind of expand on this a little bit The slowness to change and getting back to this accusation of arrogance in the team and the way it was lined up And the way it was set up and the expectation a bit around Jared and what Jared would be able to do Is it fair to say that not only did he get it wrong, but he he almost Compounded by chaining failing to change it quickly I do think the failure to change quickly was part of it, but I also think when he did make the change I don't think the change he initially made was to read right with the going trade the back I honestly don't think it was really back for as it was was getting stretched all across the park And it was something I wanted to hit on that I don't see that back for and I haven't all season playing as a unit because a proper back for And when I fall back was out the center half should go with him and the center half It's like the one that magical rope. We've all done it. We've all trained If you see our fall back was out he was out in his own and it's 1v1 and now center half giving them any cover Do the center half go to the center half doesn't go and the gaps are all across that back for So going to trade the back didn't help and you could actually see it out on the Benteke movement for the second goal He just posted a back post and Johnson looks at him go Just looks at him go only doesn't go with him to stay with him a touch toy If I even think of me and I misses that Benteke comes in stamerals Johnson at the back post and I Think it could have been Could have changed and maybe drop continue a little bit deeper or just staring a little bit deeper and go with the four across the middle Until up top. I think with them on top. We really opened up with the trailer back And I don't think that helped. I think when Lucas come on second half But like that does a half a football going to that stage and that could have been done a little bit earlier and just the corners stop them playing and No two ways about it. They bossed the whole fourth half. We thought we didn't think we got into the game at all at any stage But it's it's absolutely no coincidence that when we have fella who's at least possible in the role of defensive midfielder And we've Steven pushed on to where he can possibly be more effective that we actually look like The ball the game. Yeah, first and first for his penalty And that's where you want Steven dread. It was a weight off a show That's when she was male to where he's more comfortable because he was trying all them passing or coming off And he was feeling you could see he was feeling good about himself. Let's say he was quite down on our time He's well able to do that. We all know he's well able to do that I think Lambert done his homework and he knew as we said earlier It's he just had to put pressure on dread and we I think we played our cares very early during the week But he's saying this is where he's gonna play and he loaded in there with the tree lads and they really put pressure on him And I think there's stats that he was struggling to make complete passes for the four 50 Yeah, this is a game. It's a very damning stats about that So you keep talking to me about the defense for a minute We're gonna come on talk about a particular member or two of it But just in general and one of the things I you know the dent I want to speak about in the agenda was the the lack of basic Basic competence in the defending and you were talking some interesting there about people working on partnerships on either side What else was was glaringly wrong about that? The whole back four for me and I've been watching them recently and it's all reactive defendant Yeah, everything's reactive and what you want is a proactive back four that walks as you own it and Very full goals the two center halves go and everyone shifts as you own it. Um obviously in lads said go out Sent a house that is in the middle and then you're getting the little runners from the midfield into them channels, I think I pointed out a Chelsea a few weeks ago and Watch I had down is you've a runner from midfield run and then there you've midfielders chasing them And you've got lads in the middle to add to anything where you want to keep that compact you can can't play through little holes So when the fall back is out, let the center half shifting given cover percent of shifts shifts and then your recent appearance means around They're that simple basic defendable. We're not the only one switch right across the back hmm all the way across the back there's gaps that you can play trail with any stage and you can just float the ball into the boxes you want So the the conversation about different personnel doesn't really hold any water there because basically it's assisting the arts It's it's it's a way of working rather than well. Well, I think the The personnel do is good if you do I didn't want to better players But I still think you're looking at reactive defending rather than being playing as a unit and being proactive as a unit Yeah, you know, you're still you're still hoping that your man is gonna win the tackle You're not always gonna win the tackle everyone knows that what you did want then is the second man That's what he's there for he's a backup and that doesn't seem to be any of that in the Liverpool by forward round So I mean, I know you wanted to talk a little bit about Ali Sasoko people have various opinions I'm about how limited he is as a footballer I saw some pretty harsh stuff and I saw some very favorable stuff saying all basically he wasn't as shy as we thought basically But I think I think there's a lot of split opinion on where do you stand on Sasoko as present? I'm not a fan of his at all. I don't Subscribe to the opinion that as you say some of been coming out with that say, you know, he's not as bad as as all that To be honest, I think he is You know, I thought Against stock he seemed to get credited with it with a decent performance what I saw was a player who got skinned by Charlie Adam two or three times You know and in terms of Beautiful back. He's one of the easiest to run past that I've ever seen You know, and he seems to be less interested in stopping across than even Glenn Johnson is And when he does get up the pitch he makes very little effort to get back in time which pulls you know other defenders across and leaves space like like Ben Turkey got for the second goal at the weekend and I just With them, you know, I struggle to see what it is he brings in To the extent that that Aston Villa were perfectly happy for him to have the ball I think they were yeah, I'm on Saturday because you know that they would just like give him the ball He has no fucking clue what to do with it Yeah, yeah, yeah, Paul Brennan the Ali Sasoko scenario. What's what's your take on it? I? Don't think well, he's obviously limited like his nugget as Simon said He's like, you know when he's gone forward The other time I'm really gonna be too worried about him He's not really got any technical ability really and he did lose the ball for the second goal But I thought there wasn't there was a lot of people back kind of covering when he did and it was a real kind of It was a bog standard kind of run into the channel that I'd gone or I did and it Jared kind of trotted after him And he like he crossed it in a minute. I missed it, but then yes Yeah, again, he could be really really improved on Sasoko because he's horrible going forward I don't think he's been that bad defensively recently. I think he's an okay pair doing an okay job kind of Do you look like you're a man? I was actually surprised to see that he got as much coverage as he did considering There was a way worse performances out there and well, it just seems that It's all because of how limited he is in the ball I mean, I absolutely lost a play when I foreseen him play for Liverpool because what I wanted was, you know Somebody better than a regay on the ball and someone slicker and someone cuter And when he came in, I've just kind of got over it now with him and he is what he is He's probably the most is what he is player. You've ever fucking had Just out there doing a fucking job and in fairness to him like I think he's putting chances to shame defensively, you know, at least he's fucking they own trying something, you know trying his best I was actually just quite surprised to see this day the slaughtering you got, you know, yeah Well, it's that moment isn't it? It's that moment with the you know, it's that kind of shotgun cross at the far post I go with what Simon said about, you know, he's a player who's been skinned by Charlie Adam But I mean even say even if that wasn't the case, you know, I'll do in Johnson You know putting Johnson to shame defensively the moment a bit like putting muscle in need to shame on the human rights from you Probably fair, I wasn't the judge. Why do we've got you there? And let's look at another person who's maybe not one of the most obvious human pinatas and that's Simon Miniele What was he was he good enough? Is he good enough? As Liverpool move on and try to try to cement their place in this top four and try to move on to be in the right Champions League regular team You know, obviously there are a lot of knee-jerker type reactions, but Overall, has he been good enough? Is he good enough? Looking at what I see from him. He may well be good enough to go into the top four You know, depending on what happens this season or maybe next if next season is as good an opportunity as this But what I look at Miniele and I think if we if our aspiration is three or four years down the line to be a title challenge in team You know whether or not you can't predict what the status quo is going to be and whether we're gonna have the you know The kind of the power in the now's, you know financially in transfers being to actually kind of compete to do that kind of thing But if we wanted to see you know, what all of things being equal if we could I'm not sure Miniele would be the goalkeeper I'm not sure he's a title-winning goalkeeper because he's very very good at stopping things He's very very good with one-on-one. I think he's quite average everything else, you know, he's poor with the ball at his feet He's not particularly good aerially, you know, you know, a few waffles against stoke aerially is that a few before? And obviously, you know, he was he was pretty poor for the second goal on Saturday. So I mean as a more general thing Yeah, I'm not you might well be goalkeeper good to get you into the Champions League But I don't if you win the Champions League with a goalkeeper that like that particularly given the way Rogers would ideally like us to play It's still is still a strange sign in some ways. He's been a good sign in but I still think he's a strange sign in really Given the kind of manager we've got because you know Rogers is more or less an evangelist for a goalkeeper He's really good with his feet and very proactive, you know, Miniele's nine of those things which is the strange thing He's improved us, but I don't know whether he would be like, you know The goalkeeper in a title when in Liverpool side or he may be in the title challenging Liverpool side I think that's that's fair comment and a very interesting kind of idea to think about more Look, there are more obvious kind of areas for our ire and a lot of things that we need to talk about And I know that an awful lot of people lay the blame for the drop points squarely at Brendan Rogers feet Just before we even talk about that. There's quotes from the man himself there today Brendan or yes yesterday or whatever it was Brendan says Probably across the board. We were not very good myself included for me. The system is irrelevant The style will always be maintained to control and dominate games I felt we could be aggressive and our front two would really give them a problem But we never got control of midfield and we couldn't build the game from behind now I think an awful lot of people are listening out and go with no shit Brent, you know I think an awful lot of people are listening to that and saying well Yeah, and then when it didn't happen why didn't you change it? Phil Casey do you have any strong thoughts on this? Coming back after my fun with positivity Yeah Rogers, I suppose Does anyone did anyone actually think that playing continue stirling Suarez and storage up top? Was a good idea and having a two-man midfield made out of Gerard and Henderson? Is there a real coincidence that you don't have to put their best players on the pitch? At the same time, you know, you have to have options from the bench. You have to look at things and you say okay For tree tree. We've worked out how to play this for tree tree our system is set up Well stirling storage and Suarez when they play together against Oak where fucking dynamite later I mean you don't need to put continue into that team as well, especially in the run of farm that he's in at the moment You've seen Gerard play in a two at various points or true his time There's nothing that said to me right going into this game Especially on the back of the stoke game where we saw him getting completely dominated again So I'm looking at an unfair plate brand and saying that he got it wrong and let's hope that he has learned What my fear is that this is the repetition of a similar Set up and tactical set up and he's he's used this for too far on all the yeah against all them He's used against so tempting away when we had almost identical fucking torn out as to what happened We got one truly actual center to park. We were exposed all over the place And he had to change it around now But sometimes like we give Rogers great credit as being a tactical tactically aware and astute coach But sometimes I think we give him far too much credit He does some really good things in terms of why he wants the game to play and the whole lot His in-game management for me is very poor and is very lacking and as much as we gave him praise for making the storage substitution last week There's been a number of times now when he's when he's done the wrong things and even in that game the last 20 minutes We didn't use a sub we were we could have gone and chased that game He's right to say he got around because he got a horrendously wrong on the day That's the disappointment as well just to say quickly is you know, it was two two for 38 minutes We know where where was the lake kind of look coming out? There's not there's not a lot there on the bench. There's a perennial problem You know, we spent 14 million pound and two players you basically don't offer a lot You know, you've got no faith on send it on and we've loaned another our three attacking players in the bench You know, you've got asked past Lewis Alberto and Moses. You wouldn't you know Louis Alberto is probably the one you fancy to have the best impact. He's a 21-year-old out the Spanish set in division You know, so that tells you, you know, we took these punks on players in the summer You know one alone two kind of lower to mid-price signings And it's not come off for us But I mean in that not that aside, you know, just even then just even in terms of inputs on the pitch and just you know A bit of just you know even kitchen sink last 10 15 minutes Well, don't you go say so? Yeah, that's that's basically we kind of had we had the real kind of go at them When Lucas came on the second half and then he got injured and Gera kind of ran out of steam I wasn't finding the same space as that he was that happened at around the same time And from then on like we're looking at they kind of had our number They were fairly comfortable again And we just never did anything to change it and again I decided I'd say again that Alberto would have been the one to have come on and maybe because he is clever like that Again, he can pick up the space that the generator kind of stops taking up so that yeah I was fairly disappointed that we didn't you as a turd sub right again We're coming back to Brown Rogers and and the young Phil asked the question a kind of almost a rhetorical one about like Did anyone think that and clearly Brown Rogers taught that that lineup was gonna work In a ways it was almost hanging Jared out to try putting them in that position And yeah, well it did, you know in the end I suppose like we were all along with Rogers and all the media coverage of them going on about this defensive We'd fail at Jared playing to least toward you knowing or whatever Like we just we are now that's not gonna happen now and we knew it before but we all got involved in the debate And you know part of me was kind of wondering maybe you know, maybe Jared Candy would job there And I mean it probably was one of the few that were thinking chooses like play a play the play the far boys as well But I think we're we're giving continue a bit of a bit too much credit And now based on it on last season because he's basically he's all season he's been like the the player I suppose into we're prepared to let go And it's it's a personal thing though on the isn't it in terms of resources and lack of them Yeah, yeah, I mean if somebody could come in for them like what I think is strange as well As I remember reading after the last year about this kind of new age and where Liverpool cultures were training them and keeping them injury free It was all very specific to each player and how much were pushed and trained and then they you know It was all calculated but like every single player apart from Suarez coach board has been injured now Everybody that's fucking ridiculous. Yeah. Yeah, you know, so what's going on there? Like is it just bad luck but it's not helping because Basically the team is pretty much picking them set picking itself because we're only kind of selecting between 16 players or whatever So Coutinho is not how there's no pressure on them to play well And I think as much as that confirm that Jared is not a defensive in failure there And Saturday confirm staff Coutinho now needs to spend a bit of time on the on the bench Yeah, but this this is something we talked about last week and we touched on last week. He's a kid He's gonna have ups and downs. He's 21 years of age Just as Sterling had ups and downs and there's on and up at this moment of time You know, it's good at times to take him out of the foreign land and take the pressure off Instead of saying oh, well, here's my four best attacking players. Let's go on bash filler filler at a football team They aren't they aren't a fucking bunch of mugs. Do you know what I mean? I think I tend to know in the league at this stage. There's this team in our house that they were like a bottom tree team or something like that Come into us like exactly what you're saying. He is a kid and staring as a kid and the same thing last year where he put like So much emphasis and responsibility on sterling shell as it was so premature And the time out of the team for sterling like sterling became you know, he wasn't gonna get picked you know for a large person with his second half of last season and Um, he's benefited from he's come back a different player like he's he's unbelievable at the moment He's brilliant and fair play to him because I was losing a bit of faith But uh, continue might need to just feel like he's now You know forced You know because every he's aware that the fans love that kind of player and they're always a plan when he does something But whatever's happened. I look what I love to build him last year was he get the ball and toy areas He was out to keep how little brilliantly like just, you know, how long to the ball for five seconds get everyone started Making runs here and there, but now we saw rushed trying to get balls forward and it's you know, try to force everything Yeah, it's not it's not working. It's just not happening from at the moment. Simon front of all How are you feeling towards Brendan Rogers in the wake of that much? Um, I'm still feeling fairly positive towards Brendan. Yo, yes, he's got it wrong on Saffery, you know, and and I suppose the worrying thing if you are sick one morning think from that is it's a mistake that he has as has been said Made, you know sort of throughout his time Here in that occasionally he just goes we're better than these lads stick all the best players on and get them to do brilliant things And kind of any sort of tactical plan seems to go out the window, but Overall as you know, I'm still very very positive to towards him. I think you know The he's got us on a hugely upward trajectory. Yeah, and uh You know We're um, we're a much better team as I think in my opinion It's fairly under eyeball that we're a much better team than when he took over and I don't The odd blip aside, you know, he's still learning as a manager and the odd blip aside I think we're still going in the right direction and and you know Yes, it was it was it was a pole. It was a very poor performance. It was a poor result But you know the be on end always we're still well in this battle for fourth I'm not sure that we ever were in the battle for the title So the fact that we're maybe dropping away from city Chelsea and arsenal doesn't really bother me. We're still well in that battle for fourth and and yeah, I'm still sort of Well behind Brendan Rogers fair enough and flurry you're taking um How are you feeling towards Brandon Rogers yourself at the month? Um the odd noise for Rogers at all. Um, as Simon said, he has us on a Scarily upward trajectory like where if you look at where we were two years ago to where we are now Yeah, we're talking about four. We were talking about toilets there a few weeks ago. He gets here A few years two years ago. We were talking where are we going with his team like the club was in the diagram So I'm very very happy with what he's done at the moment. Um, I think I do think he's lacking a bit of personnel In terms of playing the players that he has available. They don't have any choices. Yeah, having choices. Um as Phil said there that anyone say this walking on on Saturday, I would have said Yeah, well with the repress now Did you come play them for with the repress now? Oh, he actually I actually picked that selection myself was the 42 to two before the game. I would have said that Yeah They did it. They did it against there for long. You know essentially it was that no. Okay. They had a Henderson full of Yeah, no, awful. I know that but it they've done it and it's worked. Okay, Simon. No, I didn't even give bollocks For the youngest thing about positivity just to maybe wrap up on this again. Um This is a man who gets an awful lot of flack for being possibly Full of a little bit of golf at times, but again listen to these words and compare them to the previous ones Are they quite measured? He says If we think of it in terms of last season in terms of where we were last week again stoking against Aston Villa here In those games we got no points at all and we got four points out of six. Okay I Ideally we want to win the home games Oh, we've been a great run here at home But when you can't when it's important that you don't lose the game and I think we show that character today yet again That he's just short of an edge standing at the end there, but basically it you know, it's fair enough. Is it? Put the spin on it. Yeah There's no I'm a very negative fans With me fucking melt down on certainly after the game or you ever fucked everybody and everyone the dog got kicked in the holler But you are for a nice and twitter either. No, of course The way of nice to have us cosin Sister is our sister early on and you're whispering We've got the logo. We haven't left the game We haven't lost the game. Yeah, um that that's probably the only positive way to hike from the game on the weekend Um, hopefully we can remember for tonight and push on from there would have been a nice to get the three points, but I like to have the man driving positive as well. Like he's Even you don't need he lies a little bit about it. Um, I kind of those make fans feel a little bit better players Yeah, and hopefully the players are boring it like because if players aren't boring, you know, you're fucked Yeah, just just one one one very last point on this right now. We haven't touched on I saw a bit we're talking about our didn't feel that siselko, you know, deserved some of the abuse who's getting on twitter and all Especially when you have johnson playing the way he hurt where he is and like we haven't even bought a touch on johnson It's a broken record on this idea. It's it's it's the same thing week and week out, but anyway, um Colorado right is Been yeah, I know and everyone's blown the lips out in saying it but listen He's not a left center back in as much as we we've talked about not playing to left it left-footed center backs Because you know, they wouldn't be used to playing or you can see the color toria hasn't played left center back that much in his career Right because he doesn't look comfortable there. I would I would even swap the round toria and scaredle in in the game Very early in the game because he he was accomplished as a right center back toria has been very accomplished as a right center back for us since he signed But he's he's really really struggling as a left center back And I just I just I just think that you know in When performances go that way sometimes it's better to put a fellow back into his most comfortable position because we know that scaredle can Start to deal with job at left center back But well, he can do he can do better than toria has done and i thought especially after the stoke game We'd know not to play him as a as a left center back like we're talking about lessons that will will Will Rogers actually learn a lesson? Hopefully he does but you know the signs don't always point to the fact that he's going to pick up on these fairly quickly Well, what I say there I feel like I know that they're saying toria built left center back Whether toria is right or left or scaredle is right left. I think there's an issue with that back far That they're not working as a unit Not working as a unit because we haven't had a unit we haven't had a partnership we haven't had four players that have played a string of tree games like and When the raffa day is when we were water toy, you know It was it was brilliant. It was because you're repeating same back for all time the communication and the other understanding like it is Well, where did I complete this and come from? It was carry, you know like we don't have it that type of player in our back for you who dictates and Looks after that whole back for I think it was that when i got when i got playing. That's what you get. Okay 19 of brendan's 21 clean sheets agar has been sent to half in in the team um The reason for that is his leadership qualities are there he Control stopped back for and you don't need to send to half the dosa thing about it as well. That's not I mean Look Every one of them have to have their critics for different reasons But the manager hasn't a chance to pick and choose. No, you see it. He's wedged in this I mean, I think if caruga was still in the squad he'd be still able to confess No, I'll tell you now, right I would have tori in ahead of skerto As a right center back that was personally on on on the in the games we're seeing implied this season Especially when we go back to the start the season and we were keeping clean sheets It was tori and agar and tori looked solid as a right center back then And I think tori could also do a job as a right center back along so it's aco The problem is I can't see tori as a left center back ever Um, and I for me skirt was the one that feels the end of some of these missing with injury But I think you know, you've got your defined left center backs and you've got one defined right center back We've really only got one utility center back. Okay. Um, right. Let's move on and let's move it forward Look, also we've discussed that laying previously the priority probably has to be the derby match I don't think there's anyone around here or on the phone who's going to disagree with that So do we have enough personnel given the injuries to select the midfield? Which would be allowed us to rest the tree, which will probably start the derby If you get wrong going with that james, do you think that's a possibility? Do we have enough personnel basically to select the midfield where the three likely starters Against everything will not have to start against boilerth. No, we don't No simple simple answer. We don't unless you're going to put in, you know, sort of john roster who's 16 or Is clank craig rod and still at the cloping who's never kind of stood out was one who's going to kind of uh Make the grade. Um, no, we we haven't so simple as that. You know, we didn't really but we didn't really before Lucas going jid and lucas, you know, the suggestions are lucas is out for six weeks to three months Um We would have been having to play one of them then i've bought by my reckonance and now we're perhaps going to have to play too Because i'm personally i would you know if i were brand and rogers i probably would have played lucas against bournemouth and then you know Alan jaron henderson in the derby, but um, so that's kind of out of the window now because obviously lucas is injured So yeah, we uh, we like depth there. It is sloppy looking isn't it paul brand and your idea is on on who's going to start against bournemouth Is it is it needs most? Is it just whoever's there? Yeah, even like if even if you wanted to drop two of them two of the starters for the derby It would probably mean russeter and alberto maybe alberto may be playing as an advancement failure And like i mean, you know, i don't think you really want to throw two of them into a a cup game like that But at the same time, it's just like it's it's getting like the injuries are getting crazy Like we do need to kind of keep ourselves for the derby so he might need to make a statement like that We have, you know, a couple of weeks left the transfer window, you know, yeah, fair enough Um, uh, fill for what do you think in terms of lineup for for the bournemouth match Realistically if we're sending for sending our 21s out on long to these legs thinking that he can do a job Then i i i know john's mentioned about jordan ruster 16 and stuff like double Play these lads. What? I'm sick of saying that the champions league and getting into the champions league is Fucking so important for us this year. So you're saying basically brittle conference Is irrelevant in america. Sorry if it was if it was a different game would say yes You know what you can say you can say the form or whatever But this is this is amazing. So the form just goes. Yeah, we're collecting collectively Yeah, you want everything going into the game, you know what i mean? I'm a think coming at the back of the feet would be just horrendous Well, look Maybe maybe let's take a look at the match that everyone seems to want to talk about rather than the match that It seems to be forced on us and in a matter of speaking and that's the the the the derby Look, this war is in storage partnership is something that's caused an awful lot of conversation Over the course of the season and for positive reasons and i've heard some negative mumbling of late People saying that perhaps it doesn't necessarily work as a partnership Um, I know simon that you've got a particular take on this Um, well, it's not that I don't think it works as A partnership. I think it does. I think it's Potentially the knock-on effect that that has on the rest of the side in trying to force those two in up front um You know, I I think you know, we saw again so good And we've seen in in the few other games where they've started together. They do seem to have a good understanding together But they both want to play As strikers Suarez doesn't particularly want to play out wide storage definitely doesn't want to play it wide even though they're both very very capable of doing so and so And roger seems to I think it was it was what sort of brought about the three five two at the start of the season it seems very eager to you know get those to Into a two up front partnership and I and I just don't think we've we've maybe at the moment got the rest of the team around them to To fit them up front together and I think one of them is going to have to make this sacrifice To your play out wide and coming inside. Hmm. Yeah, um James do you would you agree with what where Simon's gone with that in terms of um The this Suarez storage partnership Um for the derby I possibly would because evidence in a, you know, one of the best teams in the league at keep in the ball and It would be well As we as we're talking now, everything have just gone ahead. Uh, sorry. Was anyone trying to avoid the result? *laughter* Too fucking lit if they are. Yeah, so too late now. Seriously, yeah Right, well, I mean depending on what happens tonight to a degree Um a draw in the derby in the circumstances isn't a very good result, but losing would be fucking disastrous Yeah, and you know, you don't want to go into a game like that too open. Um, I mean my And it put you know, I mean do you do you do you put one of Suarez or storage in a wide role? You know, they're both very good players both should have the capacity to be you know At least somewhat effective in a wide role, you know, I either should be capable of, you know Sort of contributing and you know having an impact on the game and scoring goals from wide positions But it's obviously not ideal, but that is maybe one game where I either would do that Or maybe you you kind of look at it from the point of view of saying well, you know, if we keep storage on the bench We've actually got something in reserve for once in a game because it's things down at the moment We've got a strongest level on the pitch which is you know, it's fine I mean in it, you know, certainly on the conventional wisdom that's the thing that makes the most sense But if we need it, there's really nothing else on the bench to change the game I mean obviously storage is coming back from injury and is you know, you had a great impact on the bench against Stoke, but Yeah, it's a real dilemma because our best, you know, they are by far our best two attacking players And you know, again conventional wisdom suggests you want to get them both on the pitch at the same time But is there an effective way of doing that against Everton whilst not being overrun in the middle? You know, that's the decision Rogers got to make and I hope that God doesn't get this one wrong the way you got the billow on wrong Yeah, for sure, Damian Floders, is there any choice here other than to play the two of them from the start? Um, I think the two of them have to play but it's just the way that you play them Um, I said it last week, I thought storage was looking for the team, you know I think the system should have stayed the same Going with the two up top off each other isn't going to walk, both players have They look to lead the line and be that long striker What you could do is maybe try to get some fluid movement between the two of them That did the rotate between being the main striker and one moves out one moves in or a sterling moves across And continue to rotate to confuse them and then maybe one out to the left of Rhee Suarez loves to pull out onto the onto that left flank and attack from the diagonal Left of ting it towards the actual box and Sterling then gives you a start of the similar on the right hand side But more on a sort of conventional wingery toy way and then storage can hold through the center I think when you've when you force the two of them into that space They start running into to that are making the same runs and you don't get that that real sort of interchange And if you look like continue would like to come in from the left hand So at the same way Suarez was we're talking about continuing to have the same influence It's because I think himself and Suarez are taking up the same area of the actual pitch when when our foreword play happens And then you're looking at it going. Okay, both of them start coming in and there's a gap that's left off them there I think as a tree and we said it last week If you have storage Sterling and Suarez in the form that the rain had been in going into the game and whether they would be still in it as well Because storage scores and Suarez wasn't too bad at all Um, I think that's a much better flow tree to have than than than you know With tree in the sentiment field to take on the actual everton midfield at the mall They think it's definitely a better trade and continue Suarez and Sterling was you know, we think their storage storage and Suarez although he bought one to be the focal point And for two players who want to build there they vacate that space in half a lot So just like I mean the two the two clever players and the two players that are on form and the two you know, the two players that want to win and I don't think I don't think they like they would have the issue that we are think that one's going to get the hump Like that just because storage is tall to kind of start up through the middle and that's why he's going to get home So he's a mad little bollocks. He won't give a fuck where he's playing. Yeah, he honestly won't and the only way We had have a four tree tree is that if say Suarez was to start off the left that he calm and we have a lot of joy down You know, he was very disciplined when I think back to Suarez playing on the left hand So I don't even want one time. I can really remember starting that position was arson away last year And he was very disciplined in his defense of duties and he did very well And we should have won that game that night we we gave gave up a two goal lead if you remember I think everything would be very similar to arsenal in the way they'll approach the game As that arsenal trip away I think that'd be a good way to break it if the game don't swing that way and everything Make it there is a chance that everything we dominate this game And if it does swing that way, you can't rely on Suarez to do that Like you can't no, it's not ideal But you can rely on to do it and although they don't look for Paul Brennan to move along a little bit and change topics slightly Is there any way in hell which we in which you can continue to leave out Sacco and I'm presuming that he's he's okay to play Especially with Luke Haku in the opposition ranks now No, if if he's feared he definitely has to play Sacco As as we saw like as as dame was said that against us and then it was all just kind of reactive defending But there was a lot of direct ball. We're probably not going to face that as much wherever But there was a lot of direct balls that caused a lot of trouble to us from Aston Villa So and like everything do kind of like they do like to give it to like Haku like direct sometimes so I like really like Sacco to be in there and then I I like Torrey as Phil was saying. I like him as a right center back and I wouldn't mind seeing him play there Skirtle against Luke and like against there The last it was carried on the set pieces. Yeah. Yeah, like I don't want to see Skirtle against them. Really? Yeah, you had Johnson mark Luke Haku, you know, yeah, well, yeah, but you absolutely get Sacco straight in there And I think he can he can really port it up to look at you and it just it just eliminates one big problem I can't understand if Johnson's carrying an injury on the phone that he's on Kelly can't get into that game He was the Rob Brendan Rogers car or something to draw but it's a Lambo's because What the hell does he have to do to get it wrong? Like whatever sawed Morales plays like he'd take the mickey off Because I've got Sacco are they Johnson at the moment you wouldn't well I on that right and prepare for some tumbleweed here listeners I'm gonna ask everyone around the table and the guys in the line as well. Is there anyone? Here who can construct a reasonable argument why Glenn Johnson should start against everything? No Yeah, that's pretty cool. Oh, okay. We're done. Um Yeah, this is a that's like positive pretty That's what you call a major part Okay, we pretty much run out of crap So, okay. Um, right can I go and uh, render the the the various heads here and get some ideas on how we think the two games will finish Um, maybe we'll just maybe focus more on the on the on the on the emergency derby given the lottery of the selection and the fact that it's the club Maybe that's focused on the emergency derby. So how do we see that game going? Um, damey and flood Um, it's it's going to be a very difficult game Everton are very accomplished so I don't know Martinez and they did they'll walk their socks off I just have and the lads have said it over previous weeks. I think with Suarez storage if they show up and they are On top farm. I think we can beat them. Um, on the night Uh, we have to get control that midfield. We have to have tree in there But I think if we can get ball and get me open up front after tree lads, I think I think we can score goals against them Um, everything won't lead that's just taking us what I want to know. Okay. No, so it's time in front of your prediction for how it's going to go Um, I I can't see past the draw really um I think You know lukaku's exactly the sort of striker that we struggle against and and where whether sakos fit or not I suspect and skirt will be playing and so lukaku will just attach himself to skirt will and try and you know Turn every battle into a wrestling match which skirt will inevitably lose and possibly give away a penalty Um, but on the on the positive side, we have all a huge amount of attacking talent that can really hurt them. So Yeah, I I think it'll be an entertaining game, but I can't really see past the draw. Okay, James Owens A bit of a bad feeling about it and that's not really just because it's saturday Political two abbot and two, but I think we could easily get beat Okay, okay, uh paul brand Yeah, I was going along the lines of two all as well. They seem to have lost the kind they really seem to have lost They, you know, the inferiority Complex they had under noise, but it was like we seem to just turn up and kind of roll them over especially in an field Well, um, yeah, I think it's gonna be very difficult. Probably go along the lines of two all as well. Okay, uh deal Yeah, what worries me most is that they don't really have players that aren't playing well And as they almost says we need to come to depend on everyone clicking on the day Now if that happens, I think we weigh too much from a particular equilibrium where I play all players where I perform and to the The standard that we know they can That be they can beat anyone but unfortunately like everything can change that back For you know and bringing anyone and I just see gone and gone and gone the only blessing or you think is um They don't buy equity to kind of make a bit of a hero out himself and i'm filled. Yeah, so two two yeah quite it's quite a realistic, um, show what I think two two, but we kind of be torn up or two two and But disappointed but that's that's just being me and trying to be realistic about it. Yeah I have to say there's been little or no discussion of but I think the loss of Lucas to the squad I know he's gonna be shaking his head across the way here But I think the loss of Lucas to the squad is actually quite a major consideration Um for us if we don't replace him in the next couple of weeks So again for that reason everything has to click so I wouldn't be awfully hopeful myself about this game and I can see it being a A bit of a disappointing reversal for us sadly, uh Okay, let's move on to a completely different thing here and start with our listeners questions First one is from john agerman and he asks should call him pascal dress himself up And act as a defensive authority at lfc Andi You know what that question means I couldn't believe it when they say him coming in kind of a superstar clerk is such like going out the door and this fellow coming in Who the fuck is this john? Yeah, like what is he? They're fucking headman Good mutton headley guy steve stan so you've basically gone off there and these i'm not answer the question. I'll take some As a person with a large head Uh next one up is from last week's guest mark simpson And he's got a simple shag marry kill question And his shag marry kill question is aimed at rafa brandon and kenny and he take us in this Yes paul go and Like shag brandon because he probably touched me face My marry kenny because he's like really the best level but the best player that's ever played for us And i probably kill rafa because you know i'd say once he i talked to him too much and he keeps banging on about fucking 4-2-3-1 in that like I'm about a fucking window. I think so Definitely shag brandon though. That's the one i'm really certain. I think so. Yeah, you wouldn't do much kissing The face touching you wouldn't do much kissing with those lips though. Would you oh fuck i forgot about that Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay Great kassen great kassen wants to know Why does and this again more of a football based one might make us a bit more sensible Why does brandon rogers feel the need to constantly outsmart opposition teams? Is it an experience is it pressure or is it over confidence? Um maybe simpson might ask you that one um, i'm not sure that he does Feel the need to to outsmart opposition teams. I think if perhaps does at times feel a bit over confident, um, but you know, I think that's And that's possibly down to his head experience. Um, you know, I I hope that the You know these team selections which i assume is what the sort of question is is referring to Um is something that he will grow out of as he you know becomes a more experienced manager and figures out what it what it takes at the top level But I I'm not sure that I would agree with with german in classifying it as trying to outsmart opposition teams. I just see he's Yeah, he's an inexperienced manager who sometimes gets a bit over confident and thinks fuck this. We'll beat these lot. They're shy He likes to touch faces Is a major close point Beautiful What Jesus right there that was beautiful Oh brilliant knowledge in action again, uh next one is from spike freedman and he's wondering how Openly can I weep a bit Lucas? I take around this table here. I'm not sure how many takers we have for weeping I know they mean they mean floods not even slightly arced. In fact, he might be happy They will actually come to you as a resident Lucas bachelor. How do you feel? Yeah, I know how you feeling about looks being a could they arced? I had the moment of fucking shit. These are only three players I give the kid a lot of staple I fought for only three players in the middle of the mystery boys. We really need them. So we will make it I'm properly waiting. I'll blame it to wait Time could be good ever happening though because there he is trying to bring a player in and the way it's changed You mean the mind could be a kick in the arse today. Yeah. Yeah, you're not the target like I mean if there's any positive you can take I don't like jays like I mean I like Lucas and he does a job and you need him especially when you have someone the injuries but He just could be a bit they say of annoying which which of you boys is photoshopped in the island? Very open to into Liverpool top there. I was in the photoshopped up. That was real. That was real That was real That was real Yeah You know how from all shots man he's done he's done a medical seven times since December Every tourist that he comes over for a medical It just turns over for medicals and tourses Like when we had our owners over Open the stands watching the game there the other day and Craigard painting says should we see some new faces now that the bosses have been The visitors have they signed off? Do you think on a few things? It's obviously not coincidental They're timing of their visit. There was some statistic out that John Henry hadn't been over for It was the first time for the game. They said since it's the first time for the game. I think they said since registered over It was something ridiculous When I heard that because you're one and when I heard that I said fuck off Yeah, yeah. She can keep holes on pictures Steady Anyway, the question is you're beautiful The question is From Craigard painting should we see some new faces now and I suppose there's a chance to talk about who we might like to say There's only one of any suggestions here in this thing as well Kind of chatting about the topic in general. Who would you want to see? Just a defence amid failure. It doesn't like it. We need it and a sentiment failure now will also help out as well I think James that you've touched on this plenty of times as well It's very hard to go to a season with four sentiment failures when you play train midfield. Yeah. Yeah, it is Yeah, basically there's nothing more to add it is, you know, it's not enough five probably. Yeah, but You know four you push on your look. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Um, look, let's change on to Ryan McTernan's question and Ryan asks Who would bark out of a tackle quicker? Uh, rail morellas are Blaine Johnson. What do you think James? Rail morellas. Why was that? He's an abject shit house You know, when he finds he's a Johnson can actually be quite good at the tackle, but he just you know Would Johnson is more disinterest rather than shifting out of things. I think, you know, no, I'm not saying Well, fucking rail morellas definitely. Yeah, no, do they? Yeah, anyone else like to back anyone else there? No, I think we've all got a round house agreement on rail Right. Next one is from Jim Fishlock. Jim asks after Saturday Would you invite Alice to sell go around for some good? There's a blank here and a kick around now I'm not sure what a Jim is trying to give us a little bit of wind up and ask us But I think he just actually forgot the words, but I think it's an interesting thing here After Saturday, would you invite Alice to sell go around for some good blank and a kick around? What I want you do is insert the blank. What do you think? Do we have to write it down like blank? No, no. Just give me some shits for folks like Well, he wants to feel the right thing. Yeah, feel it. I'm trying to get good tone and kick tone and kick around Simon you're saying you're an invite member for a good kick. Yeah, absolutely Harsie again, Harsie again, so I'm going to stick with you and ask you this one from Kieran and he says You may you may not time give it this if you walked in on Roy Hudson naked in your bed. What would you do? I think go on Simon. Just freeze an absolute terror. Yeah, I think that's right. I think that's right enough I've got to get a few reactions to this James Owens. What would you do chief? Probably quickly take a photograph. So I could kind of like I don't know just it. I mean for one thing I'm on There'll be money in that, you know in the management Tablets, but I mean I'd possibly show him the you know the David Bowie photo shop would do Well, I've got you here, Roy Here's why I made earlier, Roy If you took a picture down to just take it was in a photo shop That's what I mean that was what I was getting on to and then I just thought actually I could also make money from it, you know Brilliant and Paul Brown can't let the occasion pass. I'm asking you what you might do the man who showed for Roy Hudson's Roy Hudson had pictures What the fuck would you do like? I don't know Look that episode of soap, right? You know I can't even see something so funny that they can can't laugh at it But I don't know more reason to leave if I saw the lady That's it, you're going for me complete, you're fucking doing I could retire Quickly get your hammer Get your hammer out One for the all the jackings round the table here And that is from witherspeed heavens and he says he's going to be a reverse day tripper He's going to be in Dublin for a Swansea game any recommendations for where to go and watch the match So I get a few shots from you local the locals here and all seriousness Sinits like if if he's in town, it's synits are the bullshit The bullshit it depends on what sounds on. Yeah, if he's open up her nostrils, you say for us in it. Yeah Yeah So i've been in town. Well go to sittles Traveler likes finches cuz nail relic was there Isn't that facts? That's one too I haven't been able to get him back out they're trying to close the real part I You this is interesting one. Marco Lopez asks you have a football app on your phone Uh and with it you can control a player now two things who would you control? And what would you make him do? Stewart down and play with traffic Please do James, you know assume the control extends beyond the pitch coach I just walk out mid game leaving with 10 men, which you're probably better off You could do the same thing with victim. Oh, this is really couldn't you just How's that up for victim Moses? We have to go in here We're planning an after you start that goal and you had the big beer going on them You could control them like you know to do fucking something with that, you know Why are you even going with that? Where are you even going with that? I'm controlling the carol and make him do is big funny donkey woman right up to out of those and kick him in the pods Because i've had ice in a prick Yeah, yeah, get off the fence there Next one up again a more more serious kind of footbally Next one up is DJG and he asks if you can name a sequel that was better in the original movie Now we've already had the import strikes back. I think here I don't think of any other ones it's sequels sequels that were better in the originals I've got to leave Phil out here because he gets to watch movies because he's kind of odd like that But anyone else who watches movies thought we had thought I had two was better Okay Yeah, the one with the yeah, this is the one just not well with a boat and snow The first one was in the tower and then the second was in the airport and the airport. Yeah, actually client. I actually Are you fucking in there? Yeah, I'm with you on that. I'm with you on that. Godfather too I thought I was better. Daniel Jones is a temple to deal with. Yeah, any other sets from any? Shrek too. Shrek too. Oh, damn, I'd be able to like the carol too on the ones. Yeah They put the feelers out with the force on the second and screw Back again to more kind of things to do with the screen gray is asking us Who is your favorite of what's your favorite cartoon or kids tv show? Right, I'll get I'll get one of these off everyone paul brand. Who'd you go with? Any concise reason why James Owens favorite kids tv show our cartoon And my mind's gone blank for things that aren't cartoon so I'll stick with cartoons and um, I was a big fan of rugrats Rugrats. Yeah. Yeah, it's a big fan of rugrats quality quality Simon Uh pinky in the brain. Oh, yeah, that's a good shirt. That's a good share Andy Yeah, mask who said us You have what mask? All the time What the fuck is now? No, no, no, come to the country now. No Mask You know you got tv but three years goes a lot. I did bagpuss scooby day bagpuss and scooby day What was that you're not having to be backpuss at the end? Okay, I thought you're having a stroke or something Right the same man finishes this whole section out with another little interesting question Would you rather have the ability to speak to animals? Or to speak all languages and present here in languages? Would you prefer the ability to communicate with animals or the ability to speak all languages? Hmm That's a tricky one. I think you'll agree I'm I'm I'm a little bit confused. I'm gonna go with our languages because I can't be our stock now. It's myself. Okay, see There you go. I think I'd go with the animals. Yeah fucking funny No, because you could then get the animals to walk for you Okay, he's just attacked them. Why don't I get the animals to work for you in what way for? Do shit. Thank you. You could tell them only what the fuck is a pig going to do for you Stuff okay Christ of life. Simon Farnival. I think I'm already tigers and bears. Just leave it lying. Just leave it polar bears Can we bring our guest in Simon Simon The ability to speak to animals or the ability to speak all them and I'm just what do you think? Um, I'd probably go to the idea to speak all languages so I can tell at least it's okay. Exactly. Oh fuck off Let's get a hammer for Ali James I'll take the fact that I can only speak one language. Um, it's it drives me mad, but um I don't know I mean it depends on whether or not the animals could talk back because that's that's kind of the great thing about animals You can you kind of talk up them anyway, and they can't talk back I'll go for languages actually because I talk to animals anyway. I talk to my rabbit and that's kind of the beauty of it is I just talk you know, I don't have to you answer any questions or anything So you kind of say what I want really it would ruin it for you if your rabbit started giving you shit back is basically I just want to get out of it before I get everyone else. So, you know, exactly that poor rabbit with big Anthony Exactly that's just one part of the wrap it to our fucking hell Poor bro. I don't know. I'd speak to the animals. It's speaking Me and Phil fucking running right Imagine I got up to counting what the fuck do you do? Are they?
