It may not be as big as Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl, says one analyst, but President Biden's State of the Union address tonight is expected to draw a big audience for political speech, he says. White House press secretary Corinne Jean-Pierre. You will hear the president lay out the historic achievements he has delivered on for the American people and his vision for the future. Looking at what President Biden faced when he came into office and where we are now, it is clear, he's got more done in the first three years than most presidents have accomplished in two terms. More than a quarter of black women voters describe abortion as their top issue in this year's presidential election. That's according to a survey just out from health policy research firm KFF. Hamas says talks on a Gaza cease fire and hostage release will resume next week. It says its delegation has left Cairo now. Officials in Egypt say negotiations reached an impasse. They say Hamas demanded a phased process that would lead to an end to the war with Israel. China is slamming the U.S. this morning, accusing Washington of trying to keep China down. The AP's Karen Shamas has this. Despite a recent warming of relations, China has accused the U.S. of devising tactics to suppress China's rise. Yang Wei, China's foreign minister, spoke to media at the annual meeting of China's legislature. He said China's relations with the U.S. have improved since President Xi Jinping and Joe Biden met in November. However, he said America has not fulfilled its promises. During the COVID-19 pandemic, masks and social distancing made bad breath less of a worry. And market research firm Sir Canis' chewing gum sales dropped by nearly a third in the U.S. Some manufacturers have left the gum market altogether, like the maker of Trident, Bubbleicious, and Dintin. Now, Mars, which owns the Wrigley brand, is trying to reposition gum as an instant stress reliever rather than a breath freshener. In January, Mars launched a global ad campaign promoting its orbit, extra and freedom gum as tools for mental well-being. Mars wants to attract 10 million new chewing gum users in the U.S. by 2030.
