This is AP News. I'm Rita Folley. There's breaking news about Nikki Haley this morning on this day after Super Tuesday. The AP's Jennifer King has that and more. Donald Trump and Joe Biden dominated the Super Tuesday presidential primary contest from California to Maine and have left little doubt about their trajectory towards a second matchup in November. Sources confirmed to the AP that Republican Nikki Haley is suspending her presidential campaign after losing every state but Vermont on Super Tuesday. Trump celebrated the returns with supporters at his estate in Florida. "Frankly our country is dying and we're going to make America great again." Biden carried 16 states but lost the Democratic caucus in American Samoa, when attorney from Baltimore, Jason Palmer. There were also an unusually high number of Democrats voting uncommitted in Minnesota in protest of the president's handling of the war in Gaza. Voters interviewed by the AP were less than excited about their choices. Joseph Pace voted in Mobile, Alabama. "I and it's a loose cannon. He's actually worse than Trump as far as I could say." Sean Cunningham voted in Fairfax, Virginia. "Not a big fan of Trump. Not a big fan of Biden. Those seem to be the two choices we're going to have." Jennifer King, Washington. There are worries this morning about a nuclear power plant in Ukraine. The UN Atomic Watch Dogs Agency Director has arrived in Russia for talks on nuclear safety in Ukraine where Europe's largest nuclear power plant is at risk. The International Atomic Energy Agency has repeatedly expressed alarm about the Zapresia nuclear power plant, amid fears of a potential nuclear catastrophe. The Kremlin says Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with IAEA Director-General Rafael Grossi during his visit. I'm Charles de Lathasma. Aid groups have said it's become nearly impossible to deliver supplies within most of Gaza. They say problems include trouble coordinating with the Israeli military, the continuing hostilities, and the breakdown of public order. This is AP News. You may have seen the famous photo many people call "The Kiss." There's a controversy over it now. The Veterans Affairs Secretary reversed a department memo that aimed to ban VA displays of the iconic VJ Day in Times Square photo. It shows a Navy sailor kissing a strange woman on the streets of New York at the end of World War II. A VA assistant under secretary wanted the photo removed from agency health facilities because it depicts a non-consensual act and is inconsistent with the department's sexual harassment policy. The photo was on the cover of Time magazine. Secretary Dennis McDonough tweeted out a copy of the image saying, "Let me be clear. This image is not banned from VA facilities." At the White House, press secretary Karin Jampier said, "That particular photo will not be banned." On that day in 1945, George Mendonesa spotted Greta Friedman spun her around and planted a kiss the two had never met. Ed Donahue, Washington. And I'm Rita Foley, AP News.
