In my experience over the last 20 years of teaching health and physical education online as well as on campus I think there are 10 major reasons that online learning has advantages over face-to-face. That does not mean that I think we should do away with face-to-face, I love the social enjoyment of interacting with 30 students at a time in my PE classes. However when we had to switch to forced lockdown because of COVID-19, I was already three years ahead of the game when it comes to setting up my health theory lessons in an online environment. My students had already been using it for the past three years with Google classroom.
In addition to this I wanted to share with everybody how I teach practical PE classes online and still have an impact and more specifically the type of impact that I set out to have in the first place when my students are on campus.
As a special note at the end of the radio show today I will tell you about a special guest that I have secured who is an expert at online fitness games. I can't wait to share his interview with you.
