This is AP News. I'm Rita Folley. Nikki Haley's won the District of Columbia's Republican primary. It's her first victory over Donald Trump in the GOP primary race. Earlier in the day, she told NBC's Meet the Press, "I don't think Donald Trump or Joe Biden should be president. I don't think that we need two candidates in their 80s. I don't think we want a Joe Biden who calls his opponent it's fascist or Donald Trump who calls his opponents vermin. No one wants that." A new AP poll finds that most respondents think Donald Trump lacks the mental capability to serve in the White House. Most also say they lack confidence in President Biden's mental ability to serve effectively. The Supreme Court may issue a ruling today on whether Colorado can keep Donald Trump off the primary ballot on Tuesday. The AP's Mark Sherman is in Washington. "The Supreme Court is considering whether former President Donald Trump can be kicked off the ballot over his efforts to undo his defeat in the 2020 election." And the Colorado Supreme Court ruled that because he's disqualified from being president again, he's barred from being on the state's primary ballot. That primary is one of the 16 contests on Tuesday. Now, to the wild weather, that big blizzard that sucked the Sierra Nevada has been mostly moving out before casters warned that more snow was on the way for Northern California mountains.
