I'm feeling full, Peter. >> Wow. >> Feeling full. >> Yeah. >> You know who wasn't full? >> Leah, while we were driving to Vegas, to let it get down the light came out a couple time. It did not. >> I thought you the picture. >> Yeah, but I thought you were kidding. You really like to do like. >> Two miles to go on the first gas up, one mile to go on the second. >> On the freeway? >> Well -- >> You've been in the taxi. [laughter] >> The gun. >> That's not acceptable. >> Wow. >> Is your car made in the 2000s? Can it make it there on one ticket gas? Do you not fill up? >> Yeah. >> Like before you leave town? >> No. I filled that before we left. >> Okay. >> We made it all the way to Vegas on my tank. >> Right. >> But then you fill up again before you leave. >> Yeah. And then we went to go get breakfast on the way out. >> You know, I brought a considerable amount of luggage which weighed the car down. >> When do you fill up? >> When you get into town before you go somewhere on the outskirts on the way into town, you fill up. >> Well, we were on a time track. >> Because it's actually when you leave. Oh, yeah. And you guys left because you were -- yeah. I heard about your leaving plans. That wouldn't have worked for me. >> Oh, that we left so late? >> Yeah. Why? >> Because we went out the night before? >> Again, no. >> For Patrick Brown's birthday? >> No, it was Patrick Brown's birthday. >> I don't care. No excuse. >> And what a birthday. >> And what a birthday it was for Patrick Brown. I got it. >> As they say. >> Did Patrick make it all happen in Vegas? >> What happens in Vegas? >> He did. >> The hunting which is shocking. Really? >> Yes. >> Oh my goodness. It's been a long time since the three of us have been together and it feels like a lot of time has passed since day one of NHL free agency and holy smokes. Was that a wild start to NHL free agency? That's the wildest start I've seen into a free agency in years, it feels like the last few years. You're like, oh, I feel so bad for the TSN desk and all the people who have to do these live free agent shows, all the signings are already out there. There's nobody. Nothing major happening. There were so many signings on day one, a free agency. It was I think in the end, $1.12 billion given out in contracts and more than 100 players change teams just on Monday. >> That was almost as much as the Coyote sale price. >> Oh, too soon. >> Too soon. >> Okay. >> Yeah, just a crazy start. So we're going to talk about some of the most notable signings, the some teams, the decisions they made for the good or for the bad or for the lack of doing anything Anaheim. And then we're going to talk about where former coyotes ended up because there is a long, long list of former coyotes who signed this week, so we'll talk about that and then round out by talking about the schedule, release and ASU. So that's what we have in store today. Let's get started right off the bat. I'm just going to throw it out to you guys now that there's all three of us here. Where do we want to start? >> Well, you have it on the list and I'm wondering what they're doing. What's Nashville doing? >> This is a team that's going all in and changing their identity. Like this is a team that's always been good at defending and that's kind of where their backbone has been is their ability to defend. I tell you what, bold move cotton, this team is making some aggressive financial moves with some pretty big name players. I mean, I think they were the biggest player not think, they were the biggest player in free agency. >> Yeah. >> I mean, when you look at what they did with Steven Stamkos and pulling Steven Stamkos away from the Tampa Bay Lightning, by the way, and I know Paul Bissonette talked about yesterday, that offer button from Tampa Bay is embarrassing. >> It is, but it- >> But the intent was there and it got done. We made them an operating ticket, we can move on. >> And I think that's ultimately where they needed to go. That's the hard part of the business. Right? >> Exactly. >> As long as we're bringing this up, people are like, oh, that was insulting to Steven Stamkos. What's the alternative? >> Do you sign the guy for seven years and eight years and then you end up like the Black Hawks or so many other teams at the end of their run where you got these guys who used to be stars, you got no chance of winning and you're just waiting and waiting and waiting for those. It's a business. It's hard at this time, at this point in a guy's career, it's tough because you would love Steven Stamkos to retire with Tampa Bay, but that's just not the reality. And I know people are like, well, they did it for Victor Hedman. Listen, Victor Hedman's a better player right now than Steven Stamkos is. So I get why they did that, but even then, like bringing Hedman back, knowing that McDonald's is going to be there still, Tampa's still caught, they're stuck. Their window's not open anymore. And I know there are people down there who think it still is. It's not open anymore. You're not winning the cup. It's done. It's over. It's a slow slide for Tampa. Now Nashville, on the other hand, are they really a cup content? Well, what are they thinking with these moves? Because they committed four years to Stamkos, five years to Marsha. So, braise, he got seven years. Are they, do you think they're a cup content? I think they have to be considered one of the better teams in the West right now without playing a game. And here's the concern. We've talked about this too. How does a player fit one in the room, one of his teammates and third in the city, like how do they fit into this culture? This style of play. And I think that's where Stephen Stamkos, one, I think Stephen Stamkos is going to be a big FU to Tampa. Oh, yeah. I'm past my prime. I can't play anymore. I'm going to show you I can still play because they have some really good players still in foot. They face off has them on their second line right now playing with Marchesa on the second line, but Tommy Novak, they've even got Forsberg or Riley Nyquist up front. I guess what I'm saying is this team can still play offensively now. They're changing from a team that used to have the top six defenseman in the league. When you go back four or five years ago, that's what they were built on. I think Nashville is taking a bold stride and Barry Trott to say, and this is my team now. This is a Barry Trott's team. We're going to come out with smoking guns and we're going to play hard. I do think this they've taken steps in the Western Conference because there are teams that have taken step backwards in the last day. He just took a big step backwards and McCrimmon will tell you they didn't because he's smarter than all of us. And he will tell you that they haven't they have they have, yeah, we should mention with the preters, by the way, you see sorrows just sending it your contract as well. So they're they just committed a ton of money to say, we're in this right now. And when you look at the age of some of these players to Marsha, so is what 33 stamp goes as old or like. I don't know. And they do long term contracts now three years from now, we're going to be going, Oh, my God, trot's here in trouble. Yeah, they don't get trouble. You're old. You're slow. Like it's now. Yeah. And then you'll worry about the future on the future. Very trot's the same right now. Scotty Wedgewood huge pick up because we know what Scottie would I honestly I think I do like that because what can win games is the backup goalie. I like this national pressure team. I won't go as far as to say they're a threat in the West yet, but they they made the most strides of any team in the Western Conference right now. And I think if you want to be in the same division as in the central vision with Dallas and with Colorado, you have to do something bold like this. I'll go and say this. Sorry to everybody in Edmonton and all the oil men up at what chaos. I don't think Edmonton's that good. I don't either. I think they're back. I don't think they're back. They're not going to the finals again. Nope. They want to go. They're very fine. Corey Perry, which is a lock for them to lose in the same week of final again. That is true. But but I do think natural pressure is made more strides than any other team in the Western Conference to bolster their playoff chances right now. And I think that they are better and and I think this is a team. Are they winning the cup? I don't think so. I don't think they're deep enough. I just want to float a quick idea past you since he's now played in Arizona, Dallas and Nashville. I think Scotty Wedge, which would get a business card that says the Sunbelt solution and just hand it out. Oh, I maybe that's part of his contract that he has to be where it's warm. I love Scott Wedgewood. I think I do. I'll do it for another show. Yeah. But he does on the ice. One is a hell of a teammate to his attitude is is exactly what you need as a backup guy. And he's a backup guy and he understands his role and he approaches up well, but he wins games. And when he is in the net, he can compete. I think Nashville is going to need that because Sorrows when he's on, Sorrows is on like dude can kick. Yeah. But you're quiet, please. But we'll see. No, no. I'm just sitting back. I'll just sit back. I've got enough work over the last month. Let Petey talk. Yeah. Exactly. Steven Smith is an Apple in the check. Oh boy, I think Nashville made good moves. I think this is going to help this team. But again, wait, wait, wait, wait. What this looks like in three years, this is going to be a horrific market. Well, the West was interesting in the, in this free agency, first of all, and somebody mentioned it in the chat earlier. The moves that Chicago made in progressing their rebuilds along at a Tyler Burtuzzi, Tevo Tter Vainen, Pat Maroon, and Alec Martinez, I was surprised by some of those names just felt like maybe two steps forward, not sure. We can talk about that. But the big signing in the West, Brandon Montour, going to Seattle seven years, 50 million Seattle was a team. Craig, that I know you said. What are they doing? I, I just, I guess I don't understand the signing for Seattle because I still think of this as a long term project for the Seattle Kraken. I don't think, I don't think Brandon Montour is going to be the guy that pushes them over the top immediately and he's 30 years old. So when you get to the back half of Brandon Montour's contract, it's going to be a problem. It's going to be one of those contracts that as Utah GM Bill Armstrong has said, weighs you down. He didn't say specifically about Brandon Montour, but we saw what Utah didn't free agency. We know they were after Brandon Montour, but, you know, they get, they get Sean Dursi locked up. They go and get the Cal circuit chef and suddenly you're out of the market because you don't need to make a move like that. It hampers you free agency is the place where so many mistakes are made. But I think Craig, in this instance too, it's like who's, what's the shiniest toy out there right now? Yeah, it's what it felt like, right? Let's pay for the shiny toy and the shiny toy on Brandon Montour. I love Brandon Montour. I think he's in it. He's a two-way defenseman, wins a Stanley Cup because of his two-way play can defend, can get back and play the neutral zone. He's unbelievable offensively. He checks every box. He really does. On a defense with Vince Dunn, Adam Larson, Jamie Alexiak, like, huh, they go, he can only play 25 minutes at the most. Yeah. You got to put other guys out there. I don't think Seattle's ready for Brandon Montour. Sorry. I think he's too old and I think this is where GM's make a mistake. I'm not a GM. So I've never had to be put in these kinds of situations. You want to get your fan base excited about players. I get it. Oh, we're all in on Brandon Montour just want a cup. This is great, but he's got to fit what you're trying to do for the future. And I'm not sure this fits. You saw Seattle beat Colorado two years ago in the playoffs. Big buzz about Seattle. Wow, wow, wow. How were they last year? Two years ago, they had so many players on career seasons. That doesn't happen every year, but it didn't happen last year. I'm not sure Seattle's a playoff team. I'll say it here, Seattle's not a playoff team this year. They're not good enough to be a playoff team. So you're going to spend all of my time, Brandon Montour, that you already said is three years old. I think it's important that you get that shiny new toy, but that shiny new toy has to fit to what you're doing for the future unless you're trying to win the Stanley Cup within the next 12 minutes. And that's, and it's the term. That's bothersome, right? Because, okay, if you had said, okay, we're going to bring this guy in and give us a push for four years, five, seven years. That's when your prospects start. They're ready at that point. And you want push. And he's just like you said, 37. Yeah, he'll be 37 years old, weighing you down. You might have to buy him out or you have to give up draft picks to move his contract up. It's just, it's the next GM's problem. Yeah. Really? Maybe. Yeah. Yeah. Maybe. Although they like France, really like rather a lot. But, but I'm just saying that the seven year contracts to me have always their bothersome. And I don't like to see any team signing that long of term. I just don't. Yeah. I understand why they exist from an agent perspective, from player perspective, because you're under team control for so long, right? It takes you so long to get to unrestricted free agency that you're, and as we see with the prime of players, now you're, you're almost out of your prime by the time you become a UFA in the NHL. In the next collective bargaining room, I haven't heard any talk about it. You try and shorten that window of control so that you have that earning potential when you're still in the prime of your career. Getting 27 or 28 year old, 27 year old player coming out of restricted free agency. What do you do with that? Do you commit to seven years and like, oh my God, maybe the second half of that contract is really troublesome. Yeah. You see, Craig, I think you're right. I think that benefits both the player and the organization. If you make that UFA sooner and you see so many of these back end guys that trying to make their, their money after the fact, we've seen it since the cap came in. Exactly. You're making your money because of what you did, not because what you're going to do. And I, I don't agree with that. What happens is you're going to buy in guys out, like suitor. I bought out twice now. Suitor stinks. But how do you make that much money? Sorry about all the, the, the suitor fans in Dallas watch the playoffs again. He stinks. He cost you the thing, but that's my opinion. I think he stinks the last two years, but, but the point is you're paying people for what they did in the past. Now, ports are going to do in the future. And I, I would love to see pro sports is going to be a really hot take. People aren't going to like, I'd like to see pro sports one year contracts, everybody, every sport one year, every year. Yeah. Oh, you suck this year. That's much good luck because you, you live in these other sports where they're paying 10, 20, 30, 40 million dollars an year and then they can just coast bullshit. You're going to play. You want to make 20 million dollars? You better show up because next year we're doing this all over again. I know it's not realistic, but do what you're going to do, get paid for what you're going to know what you did. Okay. We can move on. Sorry. All right. Let's talk about some of the other big signings. We talked about Tampa already, speaking of seven years, Jake Genssel after getting his negotiating rights traded to Tampa by the hurricanes for a 20, 25 third round pick. He signed a seven year, 63 million dollar deal with the Tampa Lightning. He was among the other big names signed in for agency thought that was an interesting time. A lot of, a lot of new players, like a JJ Mosher, which we thought might be the future here in Arizona. We didn't know where he was going to end up and he ends up in Tampa Bay is the bottom pair guy, Ryan McDonough's back, another guy that has had a lot of success. Again, whereas he in his, in his career, you, you're not replacing Sergey Chev with, with with Ryan McDonough. And then up front is Zemgus Gergensen from Buffalo. Great name. Yeah. Lovely. And well said up from Cam Atkinson, another guy in the twilight of his career and Jake Genssel. So are those guys enough to get this team back to the pinnacle? In a word? No, no, no, Jake Genssel also will be 30 years old. Like that's killing me to know a Jake Genssel will be 30 years old when the next season starts seven years again. So another guy who's going to be on the back end, I again, if, if, if Tampa had just let Stephen Stamko's walk, the, the trades, Sergey Chev realizing his age is a little too high for where their future is, they get geeky, they get mojure, you're like, okay, you're just, you're riding out Hedman, but you're filling in the back, the, the back while you're doing it. So maybe this will be faster, but then they go and sign Jake Genssel and I'm like, what am I? What are you doing? What are you doing? Your window has closed, it's so hard for GMs to come to terms with the fact that it's over. I've seen it over and over and over again in the NHL. Your window has closed down. You are no longer a cup contender. You really need to learn how to come to grips with that. Well, and like you said, you can still compete in the playoffs, will filling from underneath and it can act because that all you want to do is 35. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Is it okay? I guess is it okay just to be a playoff team for a while? Like, oh, we're going to be a playoff team for a couple years and then the rebuild start. Yes. If, if you're using those younger players to fill those spots, not older players fill us. But I don't think this is the way to do it. Yeah. I don't think Cam Atkinson at 35 is a way to fill a spot. But I don't know their pilot and since they have enough guys to move in. I don't know. We don't speak. Now Carter. Shikius. Probably a year away from the NHL. But how many more years? I mean, really it's Vasilevsky was the key to everything for this team and he had to keep this team in it early in this playoff season and even to get to the playoffs to Tampa Bay team. John Cooper, John Cooper is one cups there. This might be it. This might be the last season. John. People are going to hear that in the NHL. People are going to hate to hear that. I just think what where they're at and you'll get their roster formation. I think there's going to be a concern in Tampa and I think they're going to panic and go, Oh shit, we might not make playoffs by our John Cooper. Yeah. Who will be swept up so quickly? Yeah. So quickly. You can do whatever he wants to do. Yeah. Whether it gets into management and that's a path he wants to take or if he wants to. If he wants to retire, he can do that too. Anyway, but I think Tampa, I, they made some big moves in the Gensom who's a really big move. I don't know if that's enough to help this team over. You've got to talk about people having career years again, cooter off point like they got to have careers. And now without the Sam Coast one time threat off of that left circle, does their power play suffer? I don't, I don't know. I think that's going to take some learning for this team to come back together because they've lost some of those big pieces that got them to the cup. Um, a couple of other signings. I'm going to earlier in the chat mentioned that the Bruins and Canucks just swapped players. Basically, um, Bruins added a Lyas Lenholm and Nikita Zadorev, uh, Jake Dabrask went to Vancouver. So interesting there. And once again, a lot of seven year deals headed out. So, but Boston 20, we said, and I'll make a quick scenario. We're trying to get through everybody. But Boston, Boston's a team that we said a year ago, oh, they're going to fall off. They're going to fall off. And then they don't. They still know you got a Lyas Lenholm, but out of the playoffs. Go for them. They're saying this team is just, you can look at it on paper and go, but they're not as good. They're not as good as they were last year, which is not as good as they were the year before. So you think them? I think the Boston Bruins window was closing. Like, I, I don't think this team, this is not a Stanley Cup team to me. I don't see this. This is not an Easter conference championship team to me. I think they've taken a step backwards and then I think Boston's where they are. Yeah. And then I'll fall. Yeah. And then I'll fall into the division. But we will forget. And everyone's going to save this show because there's a lot of receipts in the show. There are a lot of receipts. So there's some fans with other teams in our chat. So you can, you can write down the times. And by the way, if you're here watching on YouTube, hit the like button on this video. We appreciate you. Um, couple other signings, Chris Tana of six years, $27 million with Toronto, um, Toronto, they still have a team in the league. But you know, I hear you want to receive clip it right now, Toronto will not win the Stanley Cup again next year. Done. Clip it, take it, not going to win. Don't care who they get. Do you want to make Canadian team? No. Okay. There will be a Canadian team will not be a Canadian team in the east or the west finals next year. Wow. Will not make it to the final four. So how about that? Edmonton fans. Sorry. We'll not make it to the final morning. Heard it here. I was supposed to be singing it. So it feels like it's lost. It is. We didn't die hard only. You know what? I'll do a die hard only version of no Canada. There you go. I have a slightly, I have a slightly new version. Okay. There you go. I've become a diver and you can hear Craig singing of no Canada. We did breeze breeze over a team. Are we going to talk about that team again? Well, there's multiple block Hawks fans in the chat right now. Yeah. Do we have ad street? Whatever. Let's talk about Chicago. Okay. A year ago, they signed Taylor Hall. Are we familiar with the team that signed Taylor Hall where he didn't fit before? Hmm. It has been Arizona. I worked out poorly and I took a team from first and they barely play off. It was not Taylor Hall's fault, by the way. But it had something to do with the goal of getting hurt. This is going to be a clip for CH Joe because I feel like we should start it with this. No, but by three of us doing this, but when you look at the construction now and what happened, this is one of the things I said about to CH Joe, people on CH Joe is there. Is Connor Bernard was allowed to make so many mistakes and play however the hell he wanted to play. Because it didn't matter if they want to lost. Didn't matter. He got more ice time than anybody. First power play first over the boards on every offensive start. Every period start. Connor Bernard. Connor Bernard. Second on my call their ballot, right? Oh, did I say that? Because Brock Faber played this year too if you didn't notice. But but now now you look at what they're doing. Bertuzzi is playoff player. He plays a certain way. He plays hard. He's he is an NHL player that grinds it out that brings your team some identity. You'll look at Tevutar Vainen who he never should have left. You know, I like it. Stan Bowman. Yeah. We're not even supposed to say his name on CH Joe. He's the new Evan Timon. He mentioned his name. Is he going to be the new captain and GM? If he has, you won't even you barely make the playoffs. He's going to hire Peter Shirelli. Yeah. Good luck. We're very reminded. So now you're getting some guys that complete actual NHL players love Tevutar Vainen. Now it's bringing a culture of, Hey, this isn't no longer like we're not, we're done with last. We're done with last. Do I think this team is going to jettison into the playoffs? I think that's a stretch. Big stretch. I think it's a stretch still. But you're starting to get Alec Martinez won a copy get TJ Brody experienced NHL veteran guy on the back end. I think this team has improved. We talked about Nashville improving the West and competing for a Western Conference title. Chicago is a team that improved enough to be better. Is that a fair statement? Sure. Enough to be better. They're not a cup contender. I'm not a playoff team. It's not a play. I still, you bring in Laurence Borswah on the back end. I still like their goal. Telling brassics got to be out of his mind and I don't think he can. This team is better and they're bringing in NHL players to fill NHL roles. It's going to make Conner-Vidar better and this team has made strides in the right direction for the first time in a very, very long time. Yeah. Whose fault was that? Never mind. We're not supposed to say his name. Sorry, Jay. Those are the we do not speak of. Greg, we saw you all at the draft in Vegas and I didn't see them because they know we're not supposed to mention his name. His name. I want to talk about a couple notable resignings as well. Patrick Kane back with Detroit for a year, four million. Sam Reinhardt. Still getting used to that, by the way. Which one? Patrick Kane. Patrick Kane back with Detroit. I love the memes of him collecting original 16s like they're the Infinity Stones. Sam Reinhardt gets his big deal, eight years, 69 million dollars back with Florida, Jacob Slavin back with Carolina, eight years, 51.69 million and of course Corey Perry back with Edmonton. So those were some of the notable signings. Were there any notable either resignings or pre-agent signings, non-former Arizona coyotes that we didn't mention that you guys want to talk about before we move on? They're probably some that we're forgetting but I don't want to talk about them. I mentioned UC Sorrows and that was really key for Nashville who they're clearly trying to do something. I just want to say Jake Dobrusk because him going to Vancouver, they're trying to get that identity with JT Miller and Jake Dobrusk. I think he can be a Rick Talkett kind of player so I think he fits there. I still think the only way Vancouver continues to have the success they had, their goal attending has to be healthy and he's got to be able to play in the playoffs. Otherwise, I think Vancouver overshot this season as well but I want to keep everybody thinking about free agency and what Craig said at the beginning of the show is it's very overvalued and free agency. There are so many teams right now thinking, oh, we got our guy, that half the league right now, we got our guy, we got our guy, Brandon Martour, he's the guy that's going to make our difference. I guess it's going to be the guy that pushes us back into the cup. I just want to tell everybody, probably not, and here's the challenge. Go back in Google, but go Google 2018, free agent frenzy, 2019, free agent frenzy and look at the big names and see how they did with that team and it's so rare that those free agents are the guys that get your team over the hump. It's so rare. It's so hard to get there in this league. It's so hard to win it all that this is a day that everybody goes, oh, we did it. We did it. We're so much better. Everybody here in Arizona, three times, oh, what a great free agent class. They're doing better. They got some. We said it last year. Oh, they got better this year. They're just not just all retreads, they got better. And then they don't. So did I temper your excitement or your disappointment or your frustration? Because you don't know on any team, who's that guy next year? Who's going to be that star this year that, oh my gosh, this guy, it's having a year. You don't know. You don't know who's going to be the guy that gets your team over them. I know we got to read some ads, but we're going to talk about former Coyote signing with other teams on the other side of these ads. I keep looking at the screen and I see PD right in front of the PHNX flag. And I feel like we should have an anthem playing while he feels very presidential. Before we do read ads, I've been thinking it's very, I feel like you're a better option than any of the options we have for president. I was thinking the exact same thing. Yeah. Very political with me in front of it. It looks like I'm like, if I wear a tie, it could be important. I can do this. Get an anthem. I can bring people together. Do what I do. Do what I do with a thumb. I bring people together. I can bring people together. Oh, look at it. PD did bring donuts to the office today as an offering to the government. I think I can do this. So votes vote PD. No PD. That we should just start our campaign for no role. You should run against Derek for mayor of PHNX. Love of this. This is supplemental. There might be mutiny. If I did that, oh, you got to have to. You have to. Did you see that he let the coyotes relocate under his rule? He did. And if you if you haven't seen that video, he might probably just got to be term limits, right? And it's been. It's been a long time. Very long time. Yeah. Yeah. Wow. All right. Watch out, Derek. Watch out. All right. Well, we're going to talk about all the former coyotes and where they ended up. But first, we already talked about me letting my gas tank get really low. Luckily for me, there were circle caves all over on the drive, stopped at them both times and saved money on gas because I saved three cents per gallon as a member of the inner circle. Craig was on snacks. He got us some snacks. And if you're part of the inner circle, you can click the little offers tab to seal your offers such as the polar pauper froster. That's just 79 cents now through September 3rd. As I already mentioned, it's super easy to join the inner circle. You join it for free by downloading the circle K app, which is a very aesthetically pleasing app. And when you're at the pump, you just type in your phone number. It knows who you are. It applies your discounts for you. It's just that easy terms and conditions apply app participating locations. It's at circle K dot com for details. We also, we didn't have time to stop at Craig's vault at desert financial. Unfortunately, but I know you stopped there on the way because you needed to get us the snack money, which is why I weighed the car down with all my gold dollars. It happened. We are going to Vegas. You need some money. You need some cash on hand when you're hitting the casinos desert financial credit union has been around for more than 84 years, serving the community, whether it's checkings and saving its account, mortgages, loans, credit cards, investment options and more. Plus, if you're a Cardinals fan or a Sun Devil's fan, you get personalized debit cards like this one you see on the screen. And when you open a free checking account online, get $200 in bonuses. Who couldn't use a bonus 200 bucks? I mean, I think we all would love that right now. So you can get started by visiting desert financial dot com slash 200. All right, former coyotes. And there is a whole long list of them. And we'll start with the recent Stanley Cup winner, Oliver Ekman Larson, who is back in Canada back with Brad Trillabing and Shane Donne signs a four year $14 million deal in Toronto. Yeah. I love O.L. I'm going to write a story on O.L. I'm going to catch. I love this whole story. I'm not sure O'L's worth $4 million at this point in his career at Petey. I second your love for the suite. I think Oliver Ekman Larson and the role he played to helping Florida get to the Stanley Cup and win a Stanley Cup, he was a pivotal guy in that journey. He really was. And you talk about Forzling and Eggblad and Montour, Oliver Ekman Larson stepped up and played some huge minutes when the wheel started to fall off and he won it. Yeah. And I'm looking at a guy that played the one thing I liked about Oliver Ekman Larson with Florida Panthers is he had a role where he fit. He wasn't the captain. He wasn't the 25 minute guy. He wasn't. He was just another one of your defenseman. I think that's why he succeeded where he did not in Vancouver. I didn't think he had the burden of that huge salary. I don't know if he fits in Toronto. Yeah. And I look at their defensive core. It's not four million a year. Sorry. No, I misspoke there. It's three something. Yeah. It's just over three is okay for where he is. The way the NHL is. No, Craig, if you're a second pair of defenseman, you're three to four million dollars is what you make. Yeah. So I think Oliver, it's interesting to me because I had an opportunity to talk to Oliver when we were at this down like a finals and he loved Florida. He loved it. He loved the city. He loved the coaches. He wanted to stay and loved his role and his teammates. I don't know. It always comes down to this players always say it's not about the money. Sometimes it's about the money and listen, he gets to go back and be with Brad tree living and change. Right. So and this is a comfort there. If you succeed in Toronto, they'll love you. You've made your hockey history cemented. He won a cup in Florida and no offense to Florida like it's Florida. You win a Stanley Cup or compete very far in Toronto, buddy, your hockey immortality. I just don't know Morgan Riley, Chris Tann of Timothy Ligren, Jake McCabe. That's not Montour at Blatt. It's not. The Toronto Maple Leafs aren't build on defense, although they should be Brad. You should build this team on defense because that's what win championships, apparently. I love it for Oliver, glad for Oliver. One is cup going to a team that that unfortunately can't be, can't hide anymore again. You're a guy again on the Toronto Maple Leafs and you're going to every move, every shift is going to be critiqued because it's Toronto. Yep. It wasn't in Florida. So it's a different market again. I still think he has something to offer. I still think he's a good defenseman. I still think he can play in this league and I still think he's a piece, he's better than what Toronto had and they're moving in the right direction. So congratulations, Albrecht and Larson on the cup and in the signing to Toronto. Look at Nathan, and Rudo. Rudo, hi friends, who had the best free agency. We'll answer that question after this discussion. I think we can really on it as the... How's Colorado's? I didn't really see much that they did, to be honest. There's your answer. All right, a couple other former Yodes, Matt Dumba, two years, 5.5 million dollars in Dallas and Iliya Labushkin, three years, 9.75 million in Dallas. I tell you what, if for all those parents right now that have kids that are learning how to play hockey, put them and give them a right handed stick, just do it. Give them a right handed stick because if you can play defense on the right side, you can play in the National Hockey League. There you go. That's it. All right, Josh Brown, three years, 3 million in Edmonton for all you oil men out there. Okay. Jason Zucker, another one year, 5 million dollars this time in Buffalo. 5 million. 5 million for Jason Zucker. Jason Zucker. Wow. Wow. Crazy. Another good role piece that helps a team here. 5 million. By the way, I'm going to say this. I hate. Oh, you can't win with that guy. I hate that. What do you mean you can't win with that guy? You get 23 guys on a roster, 20 to play. You couldn't win with anybody. If you as long as you're slotted in the right spot, so don't say, I can't win with a guy. I think with Jason Zuckers, a guy that can play on a really good team in a laurel and I can think you can play higher up on a bad team. Jason Zucker fits in so many different slots. I like Jason Zucker 5 million bucks boy, howdy, Anthony declare four years, 14 million with the Islanders. We mentioned Scott Wedgerman, like to Claire 17th NHL team. Yeah. Oh my God. That's a team. The Islanders, I'm not ever, I never really understood what that team was. And they're boring as hell to watch. At least Anthony nuclear is exciting and part of the thing is the Duke does is he doesn't autoplay defenses on coverage, so it makes it exciting whenever he's on the ice. Fast as hell and he can't defend. Shit's going to happen when he's on the ice. Sorry. He knows it. But so when he's on the ice, exciting stuff's going to happen. They need exciting stuff on the island. They do. So welcome the Duke to the island. That's hilarious. And I mentioned Scott Wedgwood already going to Nashville two years, three million Shane Gosses bear back to Carolina three years, nine point six million for him making his career. Yeah. And then Vinny Anastroza two years, one point five, five million in Nashville also. Wow. There's a lot of a coyote reading literally not on their line roster. And I love Vinny. I don't know where he foot. But wait, there's more there is there's three signings as well. Max Domi is signed four years, $15 million back in Toronto, they do and I and we talked to Brad and Shane Don't they, they really, really like next on me. And then they think he's, he's a key to that, that grit that they're going to need to get them through a plan for him. I said, they, I didn't say me declare about to be a pug doku cheat code. That's awesome. So WP one of the OG, oh my goodness, Troy Stetcher back with the Oilers and Edmonton. So you got Stetcher and Josh Brown. I wonder when, when, when, when what Stetcher's role would have been if he were healthy. Hey, in the cut run. Yeah. I don't know what he was sliding or not. I don't know. I don't know. Great guy. Great interview. And Jordan Martin. Marty Martin. Three years at nine at point one at five million. Did you mention Travis Boyd Travis Boyd, I'm so happy for seven 75 K minnesota. The one thing about Minnesota is it's got like a big magnet to everybody that's from there. No, no, no, no. To the hockey people, you have to play there. It's like a, it's like a rite of passage. You have to, you're coming back. You're going to play for us. Zach Paris. You're going to play for us at one point or another. You're coming back. Um, so I, I'm happy for Travis Boyd that he found a landing spot. Yeah. He's going to have to earn it though. He's going to have to earn it. Yeah. He's going to have to earn it. Yeah. He's going to have to earn it though. Yeah. He's going to have to earn it. Yeah. He's going to have to earn it. Taurus pectoral muscle tried to come back, wanted to come back, just didn't work out. I'm happy for him that he got another kind of deal though. Yeah, I know. Yeah. It's a guy. You take what you can take. And he's a guy who earned a place here. He did. He did some good things here when he was here. And I think he's a guy that can be, again, a guy that can go up and down the lineup. And, and I'm not sure all Minnesota is going to slot out here, but by the time training camp, perhaps around. But, but Iowa, Des Moines, a couple hours down the, down the 35, and he can be an amazing, right back to the playoffs. But the worst case from the Minnesota wild perspective is you got a guy that's a leader that can help teach guys the right way and how to prepare as an NHL pro down in Des Moines. Have you even mentioned like the minor league guys? Like, I don't know. Oh my God. There were so many Dakota mermaids. Dakota mermaids camcrotty. There were like so many. Why am I mom named me Dakota? Like, I want it. That's cool. Dakota. I mean, you could change your name. I can. That's a thing. Yeah. Okay. Oh my goodness. Well, so now that we've kind of talked generally about free agency and you can't, we're not the type of show that's going to give out grades or say this, you know, won or lost, but you can't say that, but those come later. How about this? Who do you think made the biggest impact for their team? Who were you surprised by either for their moves or lack of moves? Can I wrap them all into one there because it's Nashville? Yeah. I didn't know. I thought Nashville was going to slide into rebuild. I really did. And instead they're reloading for the immediate future saying we're going for it all right now. I, I still don't think Nashville is good enough to win a cup, but they could be a really good team for a couple seasons here before it's time to pay the piper. So I'm surprised at what they did and I thought they were probably the biggest player and free agency. I think the surprise for me and I agree. So I'll say that first off, I'm surprised at how many teams that are approaching windows closing. They didn't do enough. The Pittsburgh Penguins didn't do enough. We talked to Rudal, the Colorado Avalanche didn't do enough. By the way, Rudal, I don't know if you checked your depth chart, but you already have a steal. You're starting gold. So somebody said the biggest thing for them is is where does Gabe Landiscog fit? So if Gabe, if Landiscog, and I, I'm sorry, I don't know where he's at in his health journey, but if Landiscog healthy enough to return to this team to the start of next year, he might be the biggest for agent signing and Landiscog coming back to that team changes and alters their chemistry in Colorado and again, makes them relevant. Without that return, they're the same team. So I think there's so many teams and, you know, Boston doesn't do enough. I don't think Toronto never do enough because again, they didn't address their gold inning. There's so many teams that didn't get far enough in the playoffs because they have fast now. How many years is why? Yeah. And Rudal's right. Why? There's so many teams coming up with cap cap. And another team that I think took a step backwards was the Vegas gold tonight. Yes. That's a team that I thought, wow, I thought Vegas could have won the West last year if they could have played together longer because they had too many pieces that didn't play until they played the first game of playoffs against Dallas. If they get by Dallas, sorry, Edmonton, they win the West. I firmly believe they roll Edmonton just because of the way that team is built. They didn't have their chemistry. They didn't play together. Hurdle hadn't played a game with them yet. Stone hadn't played a game with them yet, and they just didn't click at the right time. I think if they do, they're one of the best teams, I think they're the best team in the West and win the West. If they get by Dallas, because I really like Dallas. My point here is they took a step backwards. Their window is closing. I'm sorry. They're not as good. Seattle's not as good. I'm not sure who in the West is if, if, if Colorado, Colorado might be, and I'm, this land is gone. It's got to come back. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I don't, I agree. Like the West, I look at right now. I'm like, who? I don't know. And so is it by default, Edmonton again. So, so to your point, Lee, I don't know if enough teams made a big splash. Well, we, we have to say it because the team that formerly known as the Arizona Coyotes, they have some pickups. They made some improvements. I think they're a better team again, but they're not team that's going to compete for a playoff spot. Yeah. Bill was, again, Bill was honest about that. He was honest about that where he's just like, I don't, I don't know that you see many teams in year four coming out of the rebuild that make the playoffs. He told all Utah media there just, and it's like, this cynics are like, oh, he's just, he's just protecting himself. He's just make. He's exciting. He's being honest. Look at the numbers. Look at history. He's, he's right. Yeah. I agree. So Matt Murray signing a one year deal with Toronto is not the solution to the goal sending lows. Did that happen? Yeah. I don't pay attention to this. You have to scroll the endless TSN tree tracker to find it, but it's there and we're not done. You say, boy, howdy again? Because I feel like we're not done with him. It's right here. Like he's the guys. I thought we were done with them. I really did no offense to Matt Murray, but he won a cop. Yeah. I don't know why I'll go. I don't know. Is that the answer? No, I'll play wall over over over him. Wow. Yeah. It was, it was interesting. I felt like there were some teams that did everything and then there were some teams that did nothing and there was really nowhere in between. Maybe the in-betweens would be a bunch of teams doing a lot of like depth signings. What do you have to do at this stage? Um, a lot of, you know, signings of guys who are probably going to be on your AHL club. That's just, you know, standard for this time of year, but I just have to say like from a day one July first standpoint, it was one of the most active free agencies that I can ever remember. Yeah. I agree with that. It was fascinating. You tell it was one of those teams that just filled in the cracks, by the way. Yeah. They didn't go crazy and free agency, which is what. And Bill had a really all time quote at the draft as well. He said, I want to break my phone on day one and then pick it up again on day two. And that's when the good decisions will be made and I want to make any bad decisions on day one. So we can revisit, but you look at what they did and I know some people are criticizing Ian Cole on, but it's one year. It's one year. He's a stopgap. It's a better Josh Brown. Yeah. That doesn't fight despite. Yeah. Again, it's a one year deal. You need an NHL guy that can eat 18 to 20 minutes a game. Yeah. Ian Cole. It's fine. One before. And you know why I bring you here long. Here's my guess after getting the temperature and I'm going to tweet something later for what he did today. Seema Chefs blowing them away at development camp. He's just blowing them away. I think he's going to be in the NHL next year. Wow. All of a sudden the Utah defense after after us lamenting about the coyote's defense for three years, all of a sudden you might have their defense together. Roaring for sends a super chat and asks who's better next year, Chicago or Utah? Wow. I say Utah. I say Utah to this season. Yeah. Yeah. I say Utah too. I don't know on paper the moves that Chicago made were better and they're a much better hockey team. I think that's going to be a very slow start. I think that's going to take that long. That's a lot of new pieces and when you throw that many pieces together, it's hard. It's hard to learn the system. It's hard to learn your teammates. It's not an easy start. Matter of fact, I'm the Chicago might might be in for a real rough start. I think they will get better as the season progresses, but I still think Utah is going to finish higher in the standings than the Chicago Blackhawks. Well, there you go. There's your answer. One of them is taking the playoffs. Yeah. Yeah. I think so too. Well, Petey, you're, I'm glad to have you back. You're wearing your deactivated fan shirt, which I love. Some multiple deactivated fan shirts in Las Vegas, which was really cool. I heard a lot of coyotes voices in the stands. We definitely did. DEBR. It doesn't like it. My Vegas take or my. Well, you can keep the receipts DBR and we'll see who's right at the end. I like Tampa. I just don't think. Petey will admit when he's wrong. They're a playoff team. They're a playoff team. They're just not going to return to the cup and Vegas, I think, took a step backwards. Yeah. I agree with that. But here's this. Vegas might have taken a step backward, but get farther in the playoffs. Interesting. Because of the matchup. Because of the matchup and where they were in the season. Listen, that's why Edmonton got. But who's their goal, right? Aidan Hill and Nathan Hill, because Logan Thompson, he'll. So now it's Aidan Hill and you're all in with Aidan, who was roller coaster. You had best. You want a cop? You want a cop? What are you talking about? He's going to Hall of Fame. He was great. He was going to Hall of Fame. How was the second? You can't believe it. Africa. How'd it go? All right. We want you to become a die hard. Not only does it get you access to our die hard only discord. You also get 20% off on merch, such as this shirt, the hockey belongs in the desert shirt and many more. It also gets you a free shirt or hat. No, when you sign up every and every year after that, 20% off events as well. Oh my gosh, and access to the premium written content. Oh my God, I maybe I don't don't want us to all be back together. The graphics gone, Craig. I don't know what you're doing. Okay. I'm moving. Oh, okay. Cause I know it's coming. All right. So we want you to become a die hard go Lord, please, please become a diard today. We want you to join the family before we move on to our last thing. I do want to acknowledge this piece of news from this morning that was really exciting to me about the Seattle Kraken who have hired Jessica Campbell as an assistant coach making her the first woman in NHL history to be behind the bench. I know she's been involved in the organization. I know there's women involved in multiple organizations, but it is very, very, very, very cool to see a woman on the bench. And I think that more NHL teams should be looking in this direction. We talk about the coaching carousel and the repetitive faces. Let's get more women involved. There's no reason why they can't be involved in an actual hockey staffs like this. So great news and great for representation in the game as well. So I wanted to acknowledge that. All right. Well, the NHL schedule was released yesterday, and I have to say we talk about these marquee things that kind of are stab wounds over and over the NHL draft was one free agency was one. The schedule release was another. And it was very painful to not have a coyote schedule for me, at least. But beyond that, because I agree, because we've talked about how just finding to struggling to find my way now that this team has uprooted us and changed all of our lives. Not only does the schedule come out, what team is opening night, national TV against Chicago? Of course, it's Utah because that's how it is. Yeah, because you know of the team state, Arizona is going to be on that slate of opening day matchups, right? No friggin chance Arizona, but now because I got pretty blue jerseys, we're going to put them on. We're putting them on on prime time. So this is what annoys me. Like we were covering the coyotes day in and day out for years, like they, they got one ESPN game last year against San Jose. They had another one scheduled against Columbus that ESPN cancel, which they probably regret because I think it ended up being Josh Jones debut, sorry, yes, man, but like just beg, you know, you just want them to finally get the recognition, then they go to Utah out of this market. And all of a sudden all eyes on YouTube, it's like, oh, well, they're, I mean, happy for the individual players, happy for the man with the staff, all of that. But come on. It's the team. Come on. Stay up, say people. And all of a sudden. Oh, it is. Well, why? I thought the team was still here. What's the difference? So frustrating. Now they're a big deal. We'll see. We'll see though. And all kidding aside, because we do have a lot of connections still with that Utah franchise. And there's, there's a lot of good players. I do think they're a step better than they were a season ago. I completely agree with all of those things. I think time will tell though that the people are going to go, okay, not quite a playoff team yet. But we've got some thoughts while we got to hear on the circuit chef acquisition. See, I like Michaela Turgetev as a player. But again, you have to go. Where does that player fit and how are they slotted on their team? He was a piece of one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference for years. He was second fiddle behind Hedman. Yeah. Pirendale Norris Trophy candidate. Yeah. And so you're going to, you play a different role because you have a different role thrown and thrust upon you. So you play differently here. There is no doubt. He is the Utah hockey club's number one defenseman. Period. He's 26 years old. So he's still young and he's still grow up really coming into his prime as an NHL defense. I think, I think that's when they come into their, and one of the things that I think the Utah hockey club really wants is they wanted a defense from the good skate. He could skate. And if you can skate, I think you can play for Andre Turner. So I do like that part of it. But I also want to temper people's enthusiasm because he is just in Tampa. He's one piece of a very good hockey club and one piece of a very solid defensive core. It's a different defense he's playing on now in a defensive system that's much different than what he played in Tampa Bay. Where we talk about defensive zone systems, you watch Tampa got away from that man on man, Tampa protected house, Tampa's defense played in front of that and played a different style where they, defense been played from the hash marks down. That's not the way I'm going to return. You play. So sir. I was going to have more free rein in the defense of zone. What does that do to the defensive numbers? We'll see. I like sir. Jeff. I do get concerned again. We talk about term and we talk about money. Is this handcuffed them when they're ready to win or is he the big piece that helps them win is to be determined? They think he's the latter obviously and they're looking at like, I talked to Bill Armstrong about last season where a lot of people and he was hurt too. He had two injuries. Yeah. So it's really hard. Yeah. It's really hard to judge a player on that. The season before he had 64 points, 64 points, 64 points is more points than any defense may never put up in a coyote's uniform to put that in perspective and I wrote this as well. They think he's close to that guy and they absolutely think that he's coming into his prime and ready to take that next step. We'll see. Yeah. And the one thing I do like about it is his age if he was if he was 29 or 30, I'd be much more concerned. He's 26. Yeah. And he got shot in Jersey's 25. And so with this defense, of course, I wasn't right. Me personally, I wasn't ready to get up on JJ Moser. I don't work for the team. Like I don't know what JJ Moser ceiling is going to be yet. We saw him two years ago, I thought he was was going upwards. Last year, I thought he leveled off. I did much more than where I thought his bar was going to end up. So I don't know if it's going to continue to his ceiling with Tampa. I think he's going to have a different role in Tampa. He's going to have less minutes in Tampa and he's going to be expected to do less than Tampa. So maybe that makes him flourish. I don't know. But but I did want to answer something in the chat too about Sean Dursi and his signing too. When you talk about sir, but sir Gachab and you talk about Sean Dursi and where he fits in with that signing with the amount of money you're putting aside for Sean Dursi. And I know there's been some speculation is that an overpayment for a guy. I'm in the camp that with the with the shower cap going up. You know, he's going to be a second pair guy. I think he is a second pair guy in this league. He's a second pair right handed defenseman that got 40 points to the league last year. And if you go to the defenseman 26 and under, there are eight of them. And that includes Adam Fox, the car, McAvoy, Dobson, like these are bushards another right handed defenseman that's 26 or under. That list is impressive. And if you can get Schunder as a locked up for the immediate future as a second pair guy as the cap continues to go up, I like that sign. Yeah. Market said he was worth five something. So it's not a massive overpay. It's slightly above, but you know, shorter term. So he he probably got a little bit higher pay. I'm curious to see what happens with him because he's not going to be on power play one. No. So his numbers are going to go down. We'll see. And that's fair statement too. But it's funny though, depending, depending on what your options are on the power play. This power play, which was average, it was very good at the start of the season and finished average. Is that a fair statement? Yeah. I don't know. Maybe shuffle guys around. Maybe maybe he is a number on a first power play and play two defense. Maybe he plays in the bumper role. I don't know how it's Wow, that'd be crazy. That fits out because he could play in that bumper role because if you want to you want a right handed bumper there, they can get Keller, the puck on the left hand shot there. And then you still have Schmaltz down low. I don't hate it as it's something that they will have to evolve and they'll have to look at because most power plays don't play that second defenseman, but you could now because of his offensive skills, you put him in an offensive side position in that bumper spot. Yeah. Curious to see what they'll do with him. Two other notes. One, congrats to the players on Utah for finally opening the season at home and not on the road for once in years. That's number one. Number two, I do like, you know, and I know there's people who are divided on this. The NFL schedule day and obviously they only have 17 games and it's this big deal and all the teams go above and beyond to do schedule release videos. I saw that a little bit in the NHL this year and I really liked it. I liked the creativity. I like having fun with it. I know there's 82 games. It's not like the same level of impact as the NFL schedule has, but I actually like it. I think it's cool. I think it's cool to see the NHL going in that direction, just being more creative in the digital space on social media and I think it helps create more buzz and buzz is always a good thing when it comes to the NHL and the growth of the game. So that's my thoughts on that. One last thing, ASU hockey officially part of the NCHC and we have a new ASU hockey jersey. Shout out to Greg Powers and the ASU hockey. Doug Tamaro and Mark Simmer, the equipment manager for making this happen. Thank you very much. This is not the only ASU jersey I brought back with me. We've got basketball. But really cool. We've got football. We've got baseball. If you can, I don't know if you can see on camera, but be the tradition inscribed in the neck of this jersey, which I think is really, really cool. We're going to be covering ASU hockey this upcoming season. So really looking forward to getting more involved with that. I know Greg Powers is going to be on our show sometime this summer. So keep your eye on that. But really excited about what's coming down the pike for ASU hockey. I think it's interesting that they join the best and most competitive conference in all of college hockey and they're in one and Greg Powers, friend of the program. We love this program. We've the strides this program has taken. I just want people to be prepared. This is a huge step. Like this, you know, making the step from club to the NCAA huge step and everything they've they've met all of these challenges, they're going into the best conference in hockey. And you're looking at North Dakota Denver, Colorado College, St. Cloud at Minnesota Duluth. Who won the national championship last year? One of these teams. Denver. Yeah. And one of these teams. Six of the last eight, I believe now. Six of the last eight. Come from the NCAA. Yeah, it's crazy. So they are going to have to find their way in this conference. They're going to be thrown the lines right away. I do think that they just have some extemperate expectations for this season. But going forward, when you're on an even recruiting basis with these schools and you can show them the facilities, the campus. This is going to be an attractive, attractive location for people to land. I just I want people to understand it may take a year or two and I I'm not that's not taking anything away from what this program has achieved and been able to do, but you're going against programs that are 100 years old. And so just just be be be thoroughly impressed that you're competing against these teams on a weekly basis. It's impressive that they're you they're playing some of the best teams in the country every weekend. Just one note. Albie O'Connell, of course, has left. He's going back to the Montreal Canadiens to be there. I think they're director of US scouting. But as Greg Powers told me a while back, there's going to be a lot of interest in this job. Well, they got Mike Corbett from Quinnipiac. That's a one of the national champions as well. So yeah, there was a lot of attractions. Are we going to overnight? I would love to. I want to. I want to. Okay. Let's do that again. I can't remember. Like I don't find that far open. I just have to make sure I'm on the road with the card. I won't be on the road. I'll look it up right now. I'll be there probably. October 11th. October 11th. Sure. Now we need to know the Cardinals. I'll be there. Are you going to go? I'm in. Let's do it. Can you do you got any pull that is you to get us credentials? I'm sure we can make it happen. Yeah. None. Yeah, he doesn't know anyone there. Can you get us? Yeah, I want credentials because I want to go. We'll do a show. Yeah. Show after that game. I was not here. It's a better show. Yep. Wow. I didn't. Okay. So there the Cardinals play the Packers on the 13th. I think I have to leave on the 12th. So there's. So you're saying there's a chance there's a chance. I'll be there. All right. Any final notes before we wrap up today's show? I'm thrilled to be in the Circle case studio. I'm happy to have you back. It's on. We really missed you. It's cool. We did. It's been a long time. It's been a long time. It's been a long time. It's been a long time. It's been a long time. It's been a long time. It's been a long time. I really missed it and I felt disconnected from this community and the community at PHNX and this family that we've built here and thanks for bringing me back in and making it feel like home really quickly and I can't wait to talk more hockey. Yeah. And by the way, thanks Craig for filling in for basically a full month breaking all sorts of news. But don't expect to see Craig on as much because Cardinals is is heating up here. So Craig, we'll go back to being an occasional pure on the show, especially when I'm out of town later in the summer. Yes. I guess so. Back to me and people. You're like Joan Rivers on Johnny Carson, like you're like, you're not gassed. I love that reference to the half the people are like who, but I know, but you got it. I even hear the voice. I get your voice. That's appropriate. Yeah. I don't want you to get that gig, by the way. By the way, make sure you're subscribed to the PHNX4T2 channel. We just put out a video talking to national media members about the situation with the coyotes, how it unfolded predictions for when they think a team could be coming back here. That's up now on the PHNX4T2 channel and coming later this week is a similar similar concept about talking to NHL agents instead. So some really interesting perspectives at the NHL draft. Sign off, I'm throwing something right before the close. Yes. I got a plan. Okay. All right. Anywho. So check that out and make sure you're subscribed wherever you get your podcast.
