There are two Hebrew words to express the meaning of "Blessing": Asher or Ashreka and Barak. In verse 1 and 2 we see the Hebrew words used are Asher and Ashreka. These are used for men and by men. When someone is blessed he becomes an object of envy. When God blesses man, the word used is Barak as in v4. also, the word Barak is used as an expression of praise to the Lord! Man has to work for "Asher" but "Barak" is a gift of the Lord. Please stay tuned in.
