Thursday, August 1: Episode 12 Shopaholic's Guide By Izzy
Hey everybody, welcome to the 12th episode of The Shopaholics Guide by Izzy. So this week's random is the other day there was some the ice cream truck. The other day something reminded me and I can't feel like me remember what it was but it reminded me of an old show that I used to watch back in the 90s. It was called Charmed. I think it was on the WB Network. Yes, I'm old. That's a long gone station on TV but anyway I decided because I started thinking about that TV show I thought you know what I'm gonna watch a few episodes of Charmed and I started to really think about that was the episode that I was watching was literally 10 years before my son was born and it just started to spiral from there where I started thinking about all these things all the things that have changed since then and how I didn't even know that 10 years time while I was watching that TV show originally that the best thing in my life would come into my life my son and then of course I started thinking about my mom which I've mentioned on previous episodes that her 10 year death anniversary is coming up this August 17th and I started to think that well like a lot of us we were all kind of bratty at times to our parents and I started to think that the fact that my mom passed I don't know in some weird way I think it somehow helped me become a better mom not a perfect one but I think it helped me become a better mom to my son because every time about to be short with him or after I've been short with him I bring it back I bring myself back and I and not that I was I would think about my mom how she would be but it made me think the passing of my mom made me think about how short life really is and I don't want my son to remember negative things about his childhood about his life or at least I'm trying not to have him think of a negative things about his life so I think it's helped me to become more patient I don't know whether it's because my mom has passed also because she's part of her is in me or she's guiding me in in some way but I think it has helped me become a better mom and like I said be more patient but I don't know I think like a lot of us think that everything happens for a reason and I wouldn't be surprised if that's the reason why my mom left so early so soon just to help me be a better mom I mean I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case because my mom was always about helping others especially her family her family meant the world to her so thank you mom for helping me still so this week I said because we're in the middle of summer even though unfortunately we're already at the end of July summer just goes by so quickly show you examples of how to dress accessorize your shorts because definitely on hot hot days like today we are definitely in our shorts pretty much on a daily wanted to show you this very first outfit romper that I purchased from Amazon I had actually purchased this in a beige or cream colored one where I said that I meant to purchase the black but was glad that I did pick up that beige colored because I don't really have that many and I'm always in black but I couldn't resist because I love the other one so much I had to go and get the black so this is a perfect example of how easy it is to be comfortable yet stylish in the summer I paired it with this necklace on a decayed again mixing metal it's in style now it gives you more options because you can put on your gold along with the you can match it with some silver as well and I did put a gold ring with it it does match my wedding band and my tenure and verse three ring it makes it very easy to accessorize an outfit I'll be right back I'm back okay so I'm continuing the romper theme here a nice romper shorts that I did pick up from decayed again very easy to stay comfortable it's nice and light and you're still stylish at the same time and I kept the same jewelry just to keep it nice and simple and the jewelry is not over the top or overly fancy I mean something you can't wear this with a nice outfit as well a more dressier outfit but because of the way it is you can also use it to dress up an outfit a casual outfit by not going over the top I'll be right back okay I'm back this outfit I think I mentioned on a previous reel an H&M reel my very first H&M reel this great comfortable Paris shirt so this is me sending off to the universe that may be someday I will be able to go to Paris France I paired it with these sports so adorable pick that up from a decayed and again I used the same jewelry it's it's casual enough that it doesn't look odd or anything so still again very simple it's a very comfortable outfit and you don't have to worry about showing more than you need to squirts are great I love squirts I'll be right back I'm back you might have noticed I've shown this on my deque haul again just like romper's sets are a big thing this season but anything that's a trendy item for me if I like it and it still fits I don't really fuss much about whether it's still trendy or not because if it looks good on you I don't see why you can't wear it is a nice little set comfortable as well with pockets it's all about comfort but at same time you're still really stylish I'll be right back I'm back here is one of my favorite tops from Amazon and it's great great price I paired it with this sport it's it is shorts underneath I love it you know it looks like a skirt but surprise they are sports and you know what I've had this for a number of years like I said for items that are trendy if you still like it if it still fits I don't see any reason why I can't wear it still it's all about comfort and what you feel hidden doesn't matter what other people say again paired it with the same jewelry I didn't change it up I wanted to show you how versatile understated jewelry can be but at the same time it elevates your outfit without working too hard well I hope these few outfits have given you ideas on what's in your closet because I'm sure you have amazing things and stylish things in that closet of yours see you later hey I'm back so I hope you were able to get some ideas on the different outfits that I showed you hopefully you can find something in your stylish wardrobe because they were just all simple pieces something easy because we all are always in a rush and there's always something to do and the last thing we want to do is be fumbling around with outfits up next I wanted to show you my very very first H&M haul enjoy hey everybody my very first H&M haul look at this color what a beautiful color and it's so light very comfy for hot days like today and look how pretty these buttons are it's just these little added touches that make an outfit love the gray pockets I'll be right back I'm back look at this cute shirt something simple simple basic but I love the detail here and on the sleeves it just adds an extra something to a regular white t-shirt and I've never been to Paris not even Paris Ontario but maybe one day I will I'll be right back back look at this sleeveless body-con dress yes it is long for a 5/4 frame like myself but I'll just put on some high platform sandals and I will be on the go look how cute this is and it's very comfortable and it's got these little rubber things over here so it prevents it from moving down H&M it's been a while I'm so glad I've come back see you later welcome back weren't they great pieces I know I did show you I gave you a preview of one of the t-shirts that I purchased from H&M I showed you on my shorts reel they're just so great it's been a while since I've been to H&M they've always been one of my favorite stores and I'm so glad I decided to come back and that black body-con tube dress oh my gosh so comfortable you should run out to your H&M store actually I purchased those online so you can also run to your computer up next is another decayed haul enjoy hey everybody a very quick decayed haul I pick of this little Bolero and it was $20 that's right people $20 look how great it is this is something that you can put over sleeveless a spaghetti strap or even just a tank top what a great little thing I'll be right back I'm back look at this color I mean like come on look at this color and yes can you believe it I actually purchased something that wasn't in black and now for the price of this outfit $40 of that's right $40 like this what a great little outfit love the pockets and it's nice and comfortable remember come on up to Aurora said we're not that far hey everybody I don't have a decayed haul I just wanted to show you this wondrous that I did pick up recently as a perfect example of her great prices look at this cute nice stretchy it is loose it's very very feminine and it was also off of her 50 percent off rack adorable necklace look how pretty I only have to put on one necklace it's all attached together that is mixing metals which I love easy to mix and match your different pieces of jewelry again very adorable if you're in Toronto come on up to Aurora like I said we aren't that far welcome back weren't they great outfits I love decayed she always has great great prices always having items she has her 50% off rack she has her 70% off rack so if you're in Toronto come on up to Aurora like I said we're not that far also remember every other Wednesday she has a live on Instagram where she offers 40 and 20 dollar pieces all you have to do is be fast enough to let them know the size and if you come up first on their end then the item is yours up next is another Joe fresh haul enjoy hey everybody another Joe fresh haul first up are these sandals great dupe alternative they are light I'm back oh my goodness another cute dress room Joe fresh I love wrap dresses because depending on how you're feeling on a particular day you can either tighten it up or loosen it for comfort I like that the material is actually thicker so it's not as see through love the three quarter links leaves you can just push it up welcome back so what did you think of my Joe fresh Paul look at that dress that dress is adorable and it's super comfortable so run to your Joe fresh or run to your computer and pick up these items because they're all so many great prices up next is of course another montage of my Amazon haul everybody another Amazon haul I'm going to start up with this romper order the black but I'm glad I didn't because I'm always in black and I'm really liking this color and it's it's actually a lot thicker than I thought it was gonna be so it's a really really good material and it is stretchy too and I like the snap buttons and these pockets like I said anything with pockets is amazing and I love the sleeves everything about this it's very comfortable another lip because some of the dresses that I've purchased are a little thinness so I just want some sort of coverage but the ladies know nipple covers sometimes do wonders because we don't want to wear a bra depending on the outfit that we're wearing so and I bought these before love dub is really warm for my son with the Amazon Prime they were some really great prices this thought let me try that the snacks but I like it because they're all great sizes someone will be happy of course all these items are from Amazon so the sun. A lot of the items that I did show on my montages were the great deals that I discovered during the Amazon Prime days on July 16th and the 17th hopefully you were able to grab some great steels as well and did you see that hammock? Oh my goodness you have to run to my lintry and pick that up for yourself because amazing and comfortable. I've fallen asleep and possibly maybe a little drool here and there and that side table that is also a cooler get that as well it's one of our favorite pieces my son loves it he likes to open and close it told him it's not a toy but yes run to my lintry and pick that up for yourself as well unfortunately boys and girls the time has come for this 12th episode of the Shopaholic's Guide by Izzy.
