Paul's prayers for the Ephesian church are really powerful. As Elisha prayed for his servant's eyes to be opened to his spiritual realities, Paul prays that the "spiritual eyes" of church members would be opened to their spiritual realities.

We would do well to pray those prayers for ourselves and for one another - so that we will:

-know God better

-see beyond the present into eternity

-see ourselves & each other as God see us

-see God's awesome power at work in & through us
