I'm your pocket fillers, the parlay killer, the north side thriller, start the broadcast. Subscribe with smash, the Gorilla Sports podcast. Welcome into the Gorilla Sports podcast. I'm your host, Alex Boulpin, and it's Wednesday, July the 24th. Alright guys, we had three plays yesterday. We had two winners. One of them got voided out, so we got only a half a win out of that one. We're about one and a half in one. That's alright. We won a couple of bucks. Let's keep this winning streak alive to start our second half of the season. Alright, let's get into the plays we had yesterday. We took the Kansas City Royals on the money line. Now this was a rough start. Arizona scored three quick runs, and Kansas City got one back in the bottom of the first, but yeah, they had a ton of contact on the ball. They were living in a warning track for the outfielders, just deep fly ball after deep fly ball, but nothing could find the gap or get out. So we couldn't capitalize, so we ended up losing six to two, so that was our one loser. And then we had two batter parlays. We took Shoui Otani and Vladi Guerrero to get one hit each. They both came through for us. And then we took Marcelo Zuna and Stephen Quand together. Ozuna got reigned out, and Stephen Quand got his hit. So we only won a little partial winner on that one. But still, we'll take it anytime we're winning money against the books. I'm alright with that. Alright, I got some plays going today. Now I only got one money line, and then I got a ton of batter parlays I really like today. Alright, let's get into the money line. We're gonna back the Philadelphia Phillies on the road today. Now I got that a minus 135 on DraftKings this morning, so I'm pretty sure that number's still there. I think I said a minus 145 on FanDuel. So shop around, try and get you the best price guys. And we're back in Aaron Nola. Now this guy's elite. He's 11 and 4. He's got a 354 ERA and a 1.04 whip. And Philly is just, they've been injured. And now they've got three of their best players back. So Schwabers back, Harper's back, and their catcher Castileos is back. So that is a great combination. They're gonna start really ramping up for the playoffs coming soon here, and we're back in Philly and we got a nice number on them. I love that. And the other way is Minnesota. Now they're kind of reeling. They've got some injuries themselves, and they're 4 and 6 in their last 10, and they're missing Jose Miranda and Carlos Corrasco, excuse me Carlos Correa, two of their best hitters by far. And Minnesota's got a bullpen game going today. So they've got Stephen O'Kurt going. These guys, three and one, he's got a 440 ERA, and actually Philly has a decent history against this guy. So I like this combination. We're gonna get Philly on the road, minus 135 on the Moneyline. Our batter par lays today. All right, there's a couple of them, so let's get into it. Our first one is we're gonna take Alec Burleson of the St. Louis Cardinals, and we're gonna pair him with Vlady Guerrero of the Toronto Blue Jays. Now Alex Burleson is one for three with a homer versus Martin Perez of the Pittsburgh Pirates. He's got a hit in 17 of his last 19 games, so that's a great run that he's on. And then we got Vlady going. Now he's betting 308 versus Zach Effin at a Tampa Bay Rays. He's got a hit in 20 of his last 25 games. He's got four homers in his last five games. He homerred last night. So he's seeing the ball really well. I like those two guys paired together. Our next one is we're gonna take Brian Reynolds of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Now he's three for seven, that four 29 versus his pitcher today. And he's got a home and a double versus him as I knock my microphone out. So yeah, Brian Reynolds absolutely on fire for us, and we're gonna pair him with Marcel Ozuna, you know, make sure you got Ozuna in the second game. Now this has kind of burned us before, so I hope he doesn't burn out all his energy because they've got a double header, but this is the one where he's got great great numbers versus Nick Martinez. Now he's betting 500 versus Martinez. He's on a 10 game hitting streak. He's got two hits in eight of his last 10. That is a beautiful number. So you pair those two guys together, Brian Reynolds, and Marcel Ozuna of the Atlanta Braves. And you get a minus one 10, so I like that number two. Our next play is we're taking Jose Altuve of the Houston Astros. And we're gonna pair him with Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees. Now Altuve's got a hit in 15 of his last 17 games. He's betting. He's two for three versus Sears. He crushes left handed pitching, so I like Altuve today. And we got Aaron Judge going. Now I'm a little nervous about Judge, he had four walks yesterday. The Mets are really pitching around him, so I don't love that. However, he's got a great history versus Manaya. He's got three 15 versus left handed pitching. He's four 62 with 16 played appearances versus Sean Manaya. So I like that combination. You get those two guys together, and it's a minus 107. I love that price. Our next one is we are gonna take Tiosker Hernandez of the LA Dodgers, and we're gonna pair that with Lewis Arias of the San Diego Padres. Now Tiosker's on fire right now. After winning that home run derby, he's just absolutely blazing through this. Now it's Robbie Ragoing for the San Francisco Giants. This guy was the Cy Young winner in 2011, but he hasn't pitched since like the beginning of 2013. He's been hasn't pitched a game in like 16 months, and we've seen with all of these guys, Garrett Cole, Blake Snell, all of these superstar guys, when they don't have proper pitching to warm up, and then they go against big league hitting, and he's going against the LA Dodgers. So Robbie Ray might get a roughed up a little today, and we're getting Tiosker at a minus 220. That's why he's a perfect guy to pair with Lewis Arias of the San Diego Padres. Now this guy's an absolutely hitting machine. He's two for three versus Parker, but for some reason, he absolutely crushes in Washington. He's been five 31 in seven games in Washington, been three 71 on the road. I like that combination with Tiosker being such a low number at minus 220. We compare that with the minus 400 of Lewis Arias, and we still get a minus 123. So I like that combination together. And our last play, now I got this one on DraftKings. I really like the price of these two. Now it's Shoei Otani again, we're going versus Robbie Ray. Now Otani's been three 14 on the year. He's got a hit in 12 his last 14 games. It's absolutely on fire. Got two hits for us yesterday, and we're going to pair him with Trey Turner, and he's been three 37 on the year. He's got a hit in 14 of his last 16 games. He's one for three versus his pitcher with a homer. I like that a lot. And for some reason, Otani and Turner are both really light on DraftKings. They got Otani at minus 215. Shoei Otani at minus 215, he should be a minus 300 easy. And you pair the two of those guys together, and you get a plus 103 on DraftKings. So I like that a lot. Otani's on the Dodgers, Turner's on the Phillies. So a quick recap, we got the Philadelphia Phillies on the Moneyline. We got Lewis Arias, Tiasker Hernandez together. We've got Altuve and Judge together. We got Ozuna and Reynolds together. We got Guerrero and Burles in together, and we got Otani and Turner together. All right, guys, we got a nice hitter parlay going on today, and we got a Philadelphia Phillies on the Moneyline. We got two winning days in a row. I know you're rocking with me. Let's roll.
