I'm your pocket fillers, the parlay killer, the north side thriller, start the broadcast, subscribe with smash, the Gorilla Sports podcast, the Gorilla Sports podcast. Welcome into the Gorilla Sports podcast, I'm your host Alex Bullpin and it's Thursday, July the 11th, alright guys another winning day yesterday, now we didn't smash or anything, we had four winners, three losers, we had seven plays going yesterday, but we were really close to having another monster day, so we had two sides and totals, we went two and oh on those and we had five batter parlays, two came through as winners and the other three losers, all three of them had half of it already come through, so any one of those hits one hit and our four in three day becomes a five in two day or two guys get one single hit, all of a sudden you're sitting at a six in one day, which is a monster day, hey we'll take our four in three, don't worry about it, but we were real close again, which is what I love about what's happening with our season so far, our losing days where we're close to winning or where we're just right off, but the ones that we're winning we're smashing, we're winning five in six units soon, I'm loving the way this season's going so let's get into what we had yesterday, so we took Pittsburgh, Milwaukee and we took him over eight and a half runs, now the handicap was versus Martin Perez and he did his job perfectly, he went four innings, give it up nine hits and five runs, so they were all over him, and Tobias Myers, he pitched a gem on the other side for Milwaukee, now we were kind of saying that we thought Milwaukee was going to do most of the damage and we only need a couple of runs out of Pittsburgh as we really thought Perez was going to get rocked, but Myers went eight innings, give up four hits and zero runs, not great, so it was six nothing in the eighth inning, I was just about to call this one a loser and Milwaukee has two guys on base and boom, Willie Adams cranks us a three run homer, Milwaukee goes on to win nine to nothing so they cover the whole thing by themselves, love it, got a little lucky on that one as Pittsburgh didn't do anything as they got shut out, but we'll take that all day. Our other play is we took Atlanta and Arizona over eight and a half runs, now this started at the gate perfectly, it was a three three after three innings as they were just both cranking off the starting pitchers, but then it kind of cooled off a lot, they didn't score anything to the seventh, the eighth inning, but they kind of went a little crazy, oh, Zuna got a nice home run for us. So it was a seven to five final, it would be a 12 run, so sailed over that eight and a half, love it. So we had five batter parlays, we only won two of them. So we had Gunnar Henderson and Steven Kwan together, that was a winner, we had one Soto and Brandon Nemo, that one Soto was a good read, love that one. So they came through and then our other three, we had Jose Miranda, now he was on a double header and we called the game perfectly as he got a hit in the one that we picked and he didn't get a hit in the one we didn't pick. But the opposite happened for Nolan Arnado, he didn't get a hit for us in the second game, but in the first game he got two hits in a homer. So we were a little off calling, which one went where on that one, so we lost that one. Our next play we had was Jonathan India, he came through for us and we paired that with Francisco Lindor and he did not. What am I doing taking two Mets on the same card? I know the handicap was versus Patrick Corbin of Washington, so how could you go wrong taking any batters versus him? And actually, almost all of them that hit really well off them except for Lindor, so that kind of sucked. So we lost that one again, we got one for two on that one, one for two on the one before. And then we had Willie Contreras, he came through for us from Milwaukee and we paired him with Christian Walker and Christian Walker couldn't come through for us. He had that great history versus Atlanta starting pitcher, but yeah, no, he didn't come through for us. But that's all right, a four and three day, we'll take that. Ah, we had the England winner, love it. Nice, free, same game parlay. I ended up taking England to qualify both teams to score and over two and a half runs. So that ended up winning about 70 bucks about 0.7 units. So we'll take that too, but a four and three day love it. Let's get into some plays today. Our first one, we are taking the New York Yankees and the Tampa Bay Rays and we're going over seven and a half. Now I got this this morning at minus 122, but the number keeps growing. So hopefully you listened soon because I feel like it's going to keep going up. I see minus 130 right now and I'll take that. That should be the number you're looking for or anything lower if you can find it. Now it's a 25 year old Sean Baz, excuse me, Shane Baz, for Tampa Bay going. He's got one start so far this year. He's 0 and 1, he's got seven hits, three runs in his season debut. Now he's just a righty that throws pure heat. He's got a 97 mile an hour fastball and the Yankees have been struggling versus lefties lately and we got a nice righty. He doesn't have a lot of movement on any of his off speed pitches. He's kind of like a heater. He just throws smoke and I think the Yankees can turn on this guy with their big bats. So I think that they can get to Tampa Bay's pitcher and then it's Nestor Cortez going on the other side. Now he's four and seven. He's got a 341 ERA and Tampa Bay loves hitting against lefties, especially Andy Diaz. Now he's 10 for 25. He's got 400 with two homers and two doubles versus Cortez and he's not a really power hitter, but he's got two homers and two doubles versus him. So he really crushes him. Isaac Paredes is 6 for 18. That's 333 with two homers and a double. All about Rosario, also not a home run hitter. He's 5 for 13 with two homers. They've got typically has four starting players that have two home runs against Nestor Cortez. So I love that. Seven and a half runs. Yes, please. Give you Yankees, Tampa, over seven and a half. Our next play is we're going to take the New York Mets and the Washington Nationals and we're going over eight and a half runs. Now it's Mackenzie Gore going. This guy's six and seven. He's got 385 ERA. He's pitched twice versus the Mets already this year and I hate when teams do this. Like it's always advantage to the hitter. The more times they see a pitcher and this is his third time in like two months that he's gone versus he's gone versus the Mets. He's given up 12 hits and seven runs over the 10 innings between them. Both games versus the Mets that he pitched sailed over the number nine, seven and eight, seven. So 16 runs and 15 runs the two times he pitched versus the Mets. His last time out, we were trying to bet against him with St. Louis, if you remember, and he gave up six hits and five runs and three innings and that ended up being 20 runs scored in that game. So his last three starts have been 16, 16 and 20 runs. So this guy is just pitching to the over. Now it's David Patterson going on the other side. Now he's three and always got a 358 ERA and a 1.46 whip. So his base numbers are pretty good but his underlying analytics are not great. And he's got a 571 X ERA, which essentially they try and take out some of the luck involved in and just doing the math on ERA. And it's 571. So it's a full two runs higher than his regular ERA, which means he's got a lot of luck. Now he's pitched also twice versus Washington. He's only got seven starts and two of them have been versus Washington. Just seems crazy. Both times they've sailed over in a 6, 3 and then a eight to seven game. So both times, both pitchers have gone over. I love this. And obviously if both hitter, excuse me, both teams are going over their totals versus their opposing pitcher. It means all the batters have great numbers versus them. I won't go through them all but the Mets and Washington over eight and a half runs love that play. Our third and final play before our batter parlays is we're going back to Arizona and Atlanta and we're going to take them over eight runs. Now it's eight flat and that's at a minus 120. You can't pull that down to seven and a half. It'll get way too high. So I like it at eight. Now it's max freed going. Now this guy's seven and four. He's got a 318 ERA. So good numbers. But he's pitch versus Arizona. Once already this year and he gave up 10 hits and eight runs in a nine eight game. So love that 17 runs scored the last time he pitched versus Arizona. His last time out he gave up 11 hits and five runs to Philly. So it's not pitching too great right now. It's Brandon fought going for Arizona. Now this guy's three and six got a 419 ERA. He's pitch versus Atlanta already this year as well. He's giving up eight hits and five runs. So love that. Both pitchers have been rocked by the opposing teams. Both pitchers have gone over their total and we're going to go over eight runs for Arizona and Atlanta today. All right. I got four batter parlays that I like today. Our first one is we're going to take Yandy Diaz. We went through some of his numbers already. He's betting 400 versus Nester Cortez betting 330 versus left handed pitching. He's got a hit in 22 of his last 25 games. Love that. Then we're going to pair that with Brian Reynolds of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Yandy Diaz on Tampa Bay and Brian Reynolds 21 out of his last 25 games. He's got a hit. He's absolutely smashing. He went two home runs last excuse me two hits last night with a with a home run and he's betting 400 versus Savalle. Tampa Bay's pitcher excuse me Milwaukee's pitcher. I forgot he got traded. Yeah, he's got two home runs that 400 versus Savalle. So yeah, pairing Brian Reynolds and Yandy Diaz together. I love that one. Our next one is Trey Turner of the Philadelphia Phillies. And we're going to pair that with our boy Gunnar Henderson. Trey Turner is betting 378 at home. He's got a hit in 21 of his last 25 games. He's got five home runs over his last eight games. So I mean, not only is he hitting, but he's hitting with power. So love that. Now Gunnar Henderson has got a hit in 34 out of his last 38 games. Unreal. He's betting 350 since June 1st. So he's absolutely on fire. Now he's had struggles versus lefties. So he was Olfur versus Showta Ammonica last night until they brought in the reliever and the reliever was a righty and you got us our hit then and we're going versus a righty today. So I love that. Trey Turner Gunnar Henderson together. Our next one is Raphael Dever's Boston Red Sox. Now this guy's going to hit in 11 of his last 15 games. Now he's also been struggling versus lefties and we've been talking about that a lot. So two games ago, we were all over both Oakland and Boston and we took them over their total. It was a 12-9 game. But yesterday Boston was going versus a lefty. I didn't touch it. And it was a 5-2 game way under the number. Boston lost outright to Oakland as big favorites. So I love that. And Dever's went Olfur yesterday versus the lefty. And now we got a righty going today. So give me Raphael Dever's in a bad righty. Louis Medina is bad in Oakland. Give me Raphael Dever's to get a hit. And we're going to pair it with our old boy Marcelo Zuna. He's making a back under the card. Now he's two for three versus Brandon Fott with a home run. Love that. He went two for four last night with a nice clutch home run who had helped us get over. And he's got two hits in three of his last five games. So that's a great combo. I love these three so far. Actually all four of these header props are dynamite. I love them. I actually really like this card. Our next one is taken Stephen Kwan. Now he's back in 333 versus Flaherty. He was actually Detroit stud. But he's got great numbers versus him. And actually a lot of the Cleveland guys do. So hopefully they could hit around and get those extra bases. He's back in 358 on the road. And he's got a hit in 20 of his last 25 games. Love that. We're going to pair it with our old boy Jose Altuve. Love that. He's making a comeback. He's got 317 at home. He's on an eight game hitting streak. And he's got a hit in 20 of his last 25 games. All right guys. We've got three plays. We got four batter parlays. I love all of these picks today. I know you're rocking with me. So let's roll.
