I'm your pocket fillers, the parlay killer, the north side thriller, start the broadcast, subscribe with smash, the Gorilla Sports podcast, the Gorilla Sports podcast. Welcome into the Gorilla Sports podcast. I'm your host, Alex Boulpin, and it's Monday, July the 8th. All right, guys, let's recap from yesterday another winning day, guys. Let's go. That's eight days in a row. We had six plays yesterday, we went four and two again. We just put another two units back into our pockets. We are on a 34 and 12 stretch. We're up 22 units over the last eight days. You're betting a hundred bucks a game, you're up $2,200 in eight days. Let's go, guys. We're on another heater. Love it. All right, let's recap our plays from yesterday, so we had the Minnesota twins on the money line. Now both these young rookie pitchers pitched well, it was actually a 2-2 game going into the bottom of the ninth, and then we got the catcher up, Christian Vasquez, out of the nine slot for Minnesota with his 198 batting average. Boom, he cranks a walk off home run, Minnesota winner on the money line, gimme that. Our other play, we took San Francisco and Cleveland, and we took them over eight and a half runs, and it was a 3-2 game through four innings, so we're on a decent pace. And then we got bow-nailer out the, he's pinched in, and he's from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, and this guy smashes a three-run homer for us to get us to five to three, and then in the top nine, Maddy Chapman comes through with a clutch double, they end up cashing him in, so it's a five-four game. We win by the hook, and that's 2-0 on our sides and totals, love that. And then we had four batter parlays that we went with. We had Trey Turner and Brian Reynolds together, and they both went over. Trey Turner, over three, Brian Reynolds, over four, so that was a loser. Our next one, we had Steven Kwan and Yurikson Profar, they both came through for us, one hit each, so that was a whole, that was a winner. And then we had a weird one, we had Corey Seager and Carlos Correa of the Minnesota Twins. Corey Seager's on fire right now, he went two for four, so that was easy. And then Carlos Correa, his first at bat, he gets plunked, he gets hit by a pitch. Now this was just like a revenge plunking from the game before where we lost Jordon Alvarez to a hit by pitch. I am sick of losing batters to hit by pitches. So anyway, they end up pulling him after he gets hurt, he hurts his finger, extras are negative so he should be back, but still that sucked. And that counts, I thought FanDuel might actually void that one off, because I mean technically he was old for old, a hit by pitch doesn't count it as a bat. But because he started the game, because he got up to the plate, they counted that as an X, so I didn't like that, but so we lost that one. And then we had Gunnar Henderson, and we paired that with Jose Miranda. Now Gunnar Henderson went two for five, that's our boy, this guy's absolutely crushing it for us this year, and Jose Miranda, this guy on this crazy hitting streak. So after that streak was over of him going 12 for 12, he sat out this game. So I had a bunch of guys texting me saying, I can't find Jose Miranda anywhere, but in the morning they let me bet it, this was obviously before the starting lineups came out. So I mean that bet was in my account already. So I told anyone that texted me, anyone that was listening, I'm like, well, pair Gunnar Henderson with Yandy Diaz of Tampa Bay. So that ended up coming through, we won't count that, because only you know, maybe 10, all people texting, asking me about that. So I ended up hooking up a couple of people that texts me. However, Jose Miranda comes out in the seventh inning. This is again not good for us. This is when it kills you, because he came out to pinch hit. So he's got one shot. If you ask me before you pinch it, would you rather me void this off or have this on there? I'd say void it off. He's got one shot to get one hit in the seventh inning. No thanks. However, he does come up with a hit for his boom, Jose Miranda makes us a winner. So we won the Jose Miranda with the Gunnar Henderson. And then we also won the Yandy Diaz and the Gunnar Anderson, but we'll only count that as a four and two, not a five and two, but that's still a winning day. Love it. Another two units. Let's go guys. All right. Let's get into some plays today. It's only a seven game card. So it's a little bit of a short card, however, I did find some gems that I do like today. All right, first play, we're going to Cleveland and Detroit, and we're going to take them over eight and a half runs. Now it's Gavin Williams going for Cleveland. It's a second here guy. He just had a season debut last time out and it did not go well. He lasted four innings, even up seven hits and five runs, yikes. And that was versus the White Sox, so not great. So I mean, his record is 0-1-1 with an 11-25 ERA and a 2.25 whip. So obviously those numbers are skewed just because it's a one-start, but you can just see by his seven hits and five runs and two walks. That didn't go well. Love that. And then it's Kider Montero, the number seven prospect out of Detroit, so another young rookie kid. Now he's had three, he's had two starts and then one kind of bullpen appearance, but he's one in two and he's got a 6.60 ERA and a 1.40 whip. Not great. He's given up four home runs and 15 innings of work. I think this is a recipe for a lot of runs in this game with these two young kids on the ground. These two offenses give me over eight and a half runs like that one. Our second play is we're going to take Cincinnati and Colorado and we're going to go over nine and a half runs. Now this is Ryan Feltenor for Colorado going. Now this kid's not been doing good this year. He's one in seven with a 5.60 ERA and a 1.46 whip. He's pitched versus Cincinnati already once this year and he gave up 10 hits and eight runs. Yuck and four innings so the color, so Cincinnati almost covered that nine and a half number in the four innings that he pitched versus them already this year and then it's Andrew Abbott going on the other side and he's actually been pitching pretty good. He's eight and six, got a three 78 ERA and a 1.20 whip, but he's giving up 16 home runs on the year. Gives up a lot of home runs. He's giving up seven home runs in his six starts at home this year, so he's giving up over one home run every single start this year. Love that. These pitch versus Colorado once already this year gave up seven hits and three runs. These pitchers have faced off already once this year. These same two pitchers. It was a 13 to three Cincinnati final, so they got 16 runs the last time these two pitchers faced against each other, so love that. Both teams have good batter history versus the pitchers and since he candelerios three for six with a homer in a double, will Benson two for two wins two for three, India one for two, Della Cruz one for two, so they've all hit, felt, and are really well and actually Colorado's hit Abbott really well as well, Brandon Doyle's three for six with a homer in a double, Rogers is two for three with a homer in a double, Stallings one for three, Jones one for three. So honestly, I think we're going to see double digit numbers in this game. And this is a, you know, this is in Cincinnati. This is kind of a second best park for runs next to Colorado. It's a really short field. We've got a nice, hot, sunny day, it's going to be 86 degrees at opening pitch. We got about a four mile an hour wind blown up to that really short porch 325 foot out in right field. I think we're going to see double digit runs give me over nine and a half. All right. And then I've got a couple of batter parlays that I like as well. We got three of those bad boys going. Our first one, we are going to take Jimmy or Candelario of the Cincinnati Reds to get one hit. Now he's on a little four game hitting streak, but like we said, he's three for six versus Feltner with a homer in a double. Love that at home in his Cincinnati park. Great hitter park. So give me him to get one hit and we're going to pair it with our new boy, Jose Miranda of the Minnesota Twins. Now again, he's got a quiet three 31 average on the year, he's on 11 game hit streak and he's two for six versus flexing in the in Chicago, Wysocks. So he's got a decent history with him. He's on absolutely fire right now. You pair those two guys together. You get a minus 123. So I don't mind that price. Our next play is we're going to take Stephen Kwan to get one hit and we're going to pair that with Jonathan India. Stephen Kwan. This guy's on fire. He's about 364 on the year, massive numbers. He's got a hit in 26 of his last 30 games. And like I said with our total, he's going versus this rookie, Monteiro, so give me Stephen Kwan to get one hit. And we're going to pair that with Jonathan India. He's got a hit in 15 of his last 18 games in that stretch. He had an eight game hitting streak with two hits and at least two hits in every single game in a row. I love that. And like I said, he's one in two versus Feltner and I think Cincinnati's going to bat around a ton with Jonathan India leading off. He should see five played appearances. You pair those two guys together, you get a minus 122. So I like that as well. And then our third and final one. We are going to take Byron Buxton of the Minnesota Twins to get a hit. Now he's got a hit in 12 out of his last 14 games. He's got three two hit games in a row. Love that. And he's batting seven for nine with two homers and three doubles versus that same flexion at the Chicago White Sox. Love that seven for nine versus this guy. Perfect. And we're going to pair that with Corey Seager. We talked about him already. He's on a 12 game hitting streak, he's about 474 over that stretch. He's absolutely on fire after a really quiet start to the areas come alive and become the Corey Seager of old. So when you pair those two guys together, you get a minus 117. I love this look guys. So after a nasty weekend, we are absolutely on fire, eight winning days in a row. Let's make it nine. If you guys are rocking with me, let's roll. [MUSIC]
