(upbeat music) - Welcome in to the Gorilla Sports Podcast. I'm your host, Alex Bullpin. And it's Sunday, July the 7th. All right, guys, we had 11 plays yesterday. Got 11 plays. I've never put out that many plays in my life, but just doing the research, I love these plays. So I couldn't, if I was gonna bet it and they were properly researched, I'm gonna pass them on to you guys, man. Like, let's keep this community going. Let's keep this thing rolling. So we had 11 plays yesterday and we won eight of them. Are you kidding eight out of 11 plays? Smashed yesterday, another five units. Let's go, guys. This is seven winning days in a row. We are absolutely smashing right now. We are 30 and 10 over that run. 30 wins and 10 losses. That's 20 units, guys. $100 betters up $2,000 over the last week. Are you kidding me? Love that. One of my boys texts me today. Sick plays this week, man. He's like, "I'm cashing out today." Love hearing that. Cashing out. Those are the words I like to hear. It's one thing to have it in your account, but it's another thing to get it out of the account and get it into your bank accounts. Now, I've said this before. You should have multiple sports books that you go back and forth from. So I've said this a bunch of times. If you pull money, say you're on FanDuel and you pull out 90% of your money or even 100% of your money and then put it onto another sports book, say DraftKings, you will get bonuses, you will get different things to start a new account at DraftKings. But within two or three weeks guaranteed, you will get an email from FanDuel saying, "We miss you, we miss your action." Here's a 50% bonus to come back to us. So then great, in two or three weeks, if you haven't gotten your butt kicked over on DraftKings, pull that money out, go back to FanDuel, deposit, whatever, the same amount or less amount, but then you get a 50% bonus. So if you buy back in for $500, they're gonna give you $250. You've just increased your stack huge. This is always the play. And the same thing on the other side with DraftKings or Bet365, any of these things, they're not gonna give you anything if you lose all your money. They might hear every six months you might see an email saying, "Hey, money come on back, we'll give you a bonus." But when you cash the money out, you better believe they want their money back. And they think they're gonna get it 'cause they don't know about the Gorilla sports podcast. Let's go. So anyway, when you're cashing out guys, try and cash out and try and buy back into another site. Have multiple outs 'cause I have a bunch of different books that I can go back and forth and you can find a better price on some of these bets. So it may be listed differently at a different site. And then those little things all add up to beat the sports books. So love that. This guy caches out, he's smashing. And he tells me, yeah, I just, I upped my unit size. That's how we do it. Unit sizes. I don't want you guys being like, oh, he was really passionate about this one. I'm gonna put $300 on this one. And 20 bucks in all the other place. No, because that $1, $300 one is the one that's gonna lose. Just grind unit size at a time. And then conversely yesterday, one of my buddies texts me and says, "Hey man, like sick run that you're on, love it." I'm like, "Oh, I haven't heard from you a while. What's up, man? You're still betting." And he's like, "No, no, I got my account up to $1,500." And then I got drunk and played online blackjack and lost it all. My God, huge jokey buddy. You play an online blackjack? Like, I've heard this story a hundred different times. It's so hard to win blackjack. Even in the casino with live dealers gonna be playing exactly by the book, how you're supposed to. But when you're playing drunken in the middle of the night, after the bar, A, you're not playing by the book, one. And two, this thing is not regulated. You're gonna see the dealer with a six and you're gonna have three 11s that you've got $200 a hand on and you double down on all of them to get a 13, a 14, and a 15. You better believe that dealer's six has got a 500 underneath. Here's a king, 21 scoop you. It happens over and over again. They'll let you win at the beginning. You're like, "Oh, I've been crushing blackjack. Everybody loses." I've heard this story a thousand times. Everybody loses online blackjack. Stop doing that junk. All right. That's a little rant about bankroll management and how to do it and how not to do it. All right, let's get into our plays from yesterday. So, let's go to St. Louis. We had the St. Louis Cardinals on the money line. Now, we were saying that St. Louis fits really well against Mackenzie Gore. And man, did they. Mackenzie Gore lasted three innings, giving up six hits and five runs. Let's go, right? Wrong, dead wrong. Lance Lin got destroyed. He went two innings, gave up 11 hits and 10 runs. We lost this one 14 to six. Yikes. So, we had the right reads saying that we're gonna hit against Mackenzie Gore, but man, Lance Lin got destroyed. The Washington bats looked really good yesterday, putting up 14 runs. So, we lost that game. Our two winners on our sides in totals. We took San Fran and Cleveland over eight and a half. Cleaning out a four-nothing lead after two. Looked good. Took a little while, but we ended up covered in the seventh and it'd be in a five-four final. So, we took that one down. Love it. Our next plays, we took Arizona and San Diego over seven and a half. I didn't understand this number. I understand both these pitchers can be good, but they also cannot be good. One of my buddies texted me saying that the number dropped to seven even. It was talking about live betting it and like, okay. So, it's one to one after one inning. So, we're scoring runs. We're loving it. In the top of the second inning, Arizona's got the bases loaded for Corbin Carroll. God, talk about it, Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Like, his season last year was incredible and he has just fallen off so hard. So, anyway, he's got a three and two count. The bases are loaded and this umpire calls the worst strike I've ever seen. He's already throwing the bat like it's an absolute walk. So, this is against the knuckle baller and I get that it's hard to call some of these pitches when it's knuckling all over the place, but this catcher framed it and had to move it like 18 inches, maybe two feet from like under his feet to like above. It was like, it was so inside, so low and he moved it about, yeah, about 18 inches to get it there and he just rings him up with his late strikeout. Just like, oh my God. I'm like, this better not come back to kill us. So, they didn't score many runs and it was just kind of cursing that one spot 'cause, I mean, you know, you walk in another run, you pass the bat over to Catel Marte. Who knows what he can do? It's the top of the order with the bases loaded. It's a love in that, but, no, they end up choking it. So, we need the seventh inning. So, the seventh inning was just absolutely crucial for us. Arizona score is two in the top and then in the bottom, we had a bet on Yerkeson profile. We were waiting on him to see if he could get a hit to cash a bet for us. He's over three with three strikeouts. Come on. But he's got men at first and third and, oh, he smashes a big double. They end up scoring two runs in that inning to go down four to three. They get one more in the eighth to go to four to four. So, that caches us over. It ended up going to extra innings where they score four more runs in extra. So, it ended up being a seven-five final. Looks like it was, it sailed over, but it really didn't. It was a nail bite until the end, but we ended up winning that one as well. And then we had eight batter parlays. Oh, boy, we were exposed on this one, but we won six of them, guys. So, there were 16 batters going and we had 13 batters correct. That is nasty. Love it. I'll rip through him quick. We had Brian Reynolds and Horace O'Lare, Booket. We had Yerkeson profile, Corey Seager, Booket. We had Lewis areas, Wilson Contreras, Booket, Stephen Quand, Ryan McMahon, Booket. And then we had Gunnar Henderson and Alec Baum couldn't get us one. I thought that that was a lock, but that one didn't come through for us. And then we had Alex Dregman and Trey Turner, Booket. Raphael Deverz called this one beautifully after going 0 for the day before. He absolutely crushes versus right-handed. He killed the Yankees pitcher, the right-hander Cole, Garrett Cole, and he ended up going two for four for the homer, love it. Yandy Diaz, we went three for three. We booked those two together. And then our other losing play. We had Yord on Alvarez. I gotta stop betting on this guy. These guys keep plunking him left and right. This poor guy's like, he's like a pinata out there getting whipped up ball at. So he got hit in the knee this time. So he's got a knee contusion. So he's gonna be out for a little bit. Definitely this game to be continued. We'll talk about that. And then we had Austin Riley with him. And he didn't come through. But yeah, six out of eight winners on that. We were nine in one in the first half of the games in the afternoon. So we were sitting there waiting. I'm like, oh, god, I better have called these guys correctly. I'm in the right guys with the right guys because we had about five open bets for all five and one on the first opening in the afternoon games. We're waiting on the nighttime game. So every time one guy gets a hit, boom, check, mark, check, mark, check, mark, check, mark. Sick, I love it, guys. Nasty run. But that's yesterday. Let's get into today. So I've got two sides and totals that I like. And I got four batter parlays that I like. We got six plays going again today. So let's get into them. We took San Francisco and Cleveland. And we're going back over eight and a half runs again. Now it's the number six prospect in the San Francisco pitching ranks. It's Hayden Birdsong going. Now he's had two starts and he's won it all. But he's got a 466 ERA and a 155 whip. So not great. We've even had three homers over his nine innings of work. So they're kind of hitting them pretty good right now. And it's Carlos Carrasco going for Cleveland. This guy is on one of the best teams in baseball, but he's three and six with a 521 ERA. Not good at all. Now this guy is 37 years old. I mean, it might be time for him to start coming out of the bullpen and not being a starting pitcher. Because that might work out a lot better for him. Like he's had a rough two years in a row. Like last year with the Mets, he was three and eight with a 6.8 ERA. So not good. He has been bad for two years. San Francisco bats have been really good lately. And this Cleveland offense is like a top five offense. I can see them getting a Hayden Birdsong for sure. Give me Cleveland San Francisco over eight and a half runs. Our next play is we are taking the Minnesota twins on the money line and then they come in at a minus 130. Now it's a battle of two rookie pitchers. But we're going to back Simeon Woods Richardson. We've backed him a couple of times this year already. I like this kid. He's three and one. He's got a 352 ERA, a 1.13 whip. So good underlining numbers. But he's just consistent. Like you know what you're getting from this guy. You know, he's going to give up four or five hits. And he's going to give up three or four or two, three, four runs. Which, you know, you can deal with that. But on the other side, it's Spencer Aragetti. This guy's four and seven. He's got a 6.13 ERA and a 1.65 whip. Terrible. And he walks a ton of batters this guy. But you don't know what you're going to get from this guy. So I mean, versus the J's his last time out, he gave up six hits, seven runs, four walks, two homers. Like you just-- what are you getting from this guy? And then the time before that, he shut out the Colorado Rockies, giving up three hits and 10 strikeouts. So like, give me the consistency of Simeon Woods Richardson. The time before that, he lasted one inning versus the Tigers giving up five hits, seven runs, and three home runs. So forget it. You're on Alvarez. Like I said, got plunked in the knee. So their best hitter will be out today, I think. He was limping around. I'm pretty sure he's not going to go. But again, it's in the AM, so you might want to check it. Honestly, even if he does go, I don't care. And then Jose Altuve, it looks like he's back. He got plunked on the hand. He had negative-- negative x-rays on his hand, so it's not broken. But he's got a big welt. And nobody likes gripping a bat and trying to swing a bat when you've got a hurt hand. So give me Minnesota on the Moneyline minus 130. Like that look. All right, I got four batter plays I like today. Let's get into them. We're going Trey Turner, one of our boys. He's got a hit in 16 of his last 18 games. He's betting 600 versus Lopez. And he's betting 340 on the year. Yes, please. And we're going to pair that with our boy Brian Reynolds. This guy's on Fuego. He is going to hit in 30 of his last 32 games. And he's betting 400 versus Sean Manai of the Mets. So we want Trey Turner on the Philadelphia Phillies. And we're going to pair it with a Pittsburgh Pirates Brian Reynolds. And we put those together. You get a minus 118 like that number. Our next play is we're going to take Steven Kwan of the Cleveland Guardians. He's got a hit in 22 of his last 26 games. He's betting 365 on the year. He's absolutely on fire right now. He's going versus this rookie bird song. So let's see how he does against a Cleveland offense. I love that he bats first. So he gets a ton of played appearances. And we're going to go with the Jerrickson profile of the San Diego Padres. Now this guy's going to hit in 17 of his last 18 games. He's betting 314 on the year. He's betting 313 and 16 played appearances versus Ryan Nelson of Arizona. So that's a great combo. I like these guys together, too. And you pair them up. You get a minus 110. Love that. All right. Our next one is we're going right back to Corey Seager. He's now on an 11 game hit streak. Love that. And he's one for free versus little of Tampa Bay. So we're going to take Corey Seager, the Texas Rangers. And we're going to pair that with Carlos Correa of the Minnesota Twins. Minnesota's been on fire. He's betting 305 on the year. He's on a nine game hit streak. And he's going versus Spencer Araghetti. We were talking about him. Gives up 9.6 hits per nine. So that's a good combination between those two guys together. Love that. And then our last play is we're going with our boy Gunnar Henderson to the Baltimore Orioles. Gimme Gunnar. He's got to hit 22 his last 26 games. He's betting 480 in Oakland. I don't know what it is about Oakland, but he's loving hitting there. He went two for two last night before they pulled him. I would say a couple of episodes ago that you never rarely in baseball do they pull guys. But when Oakland scores 19 runs, yeah, you start sitting your best players. So he ended up getting set sat after going two for two. So we did Gunnar Henderson to get one hit. Love that. And we're going to pair it with Jose Miranda. We've never used this guy. Jose Miranda of the Minnesota Twins as well. He's quietly by batting a 328 on the year. He's on a 10 game hit streak. He's got hits in 13 of his last 14 games. And he just tied a record. It's been 70 years since somebody's gone 12 for 12 in their played appearances. He went five for five, four for four. And then he was three for three before not getting a hit at his last played appearance, but he had 12 for 12. So this guy's seeing it really well. Again, he's against Spencer Araghetti. So I like that. Gimme Jose Miranda, Minnesota Twins, and the Baltimoreers, Gunnar Henderson together. I love it, guys. We are on a sick run. We got six plays going today. If you're rocking with me, let's roll. (upbeat music) (upbeat music)
