I'm your pocket fillers, the parlay killer, the north side thriller, start the broadcast. Subscribe with smash, the gorilla sports podcast, the gorilla sports podcast here. Welcome into the gorilla sports podcast. I'm your host, Alex Boulpin, and it's Friday, July the 5th. All right, guys, we had four plays yesterday, and we had two winners and two losers. We split the books yesterday. No harm done, not the end of the world. Let's get into the plays. So we had Jordon Alvarez to get over one and a half bases. Oh, Blue Jays, you cowards, they wouldn't pitch to him. He only actually had one at bat. He had five played appearances and one real at bat. So his first at bat, they pitched around him with a five pitch walk. So I mean, they weren't actually pitching to him. Second time up, he actually gets to hit, and he flies out. So there's our one out, and then he gets intentionally walked the next time. And then he gets hit by pitch, his next two at bats. So yeah, like they weren't even trying, like they just absolutely pitched around this guy. So that's a shame. That's the rub when you're betting on a single play with a superstar guy. That's absolutely crushed a team. They know they get crushed by this guy as well. So they absolutely pitched around him. So that sucked. Our other play that we lost was Baltimore on the money line. They had a two-nothing lead off of Gunnar Henderson. We called him right, because he had a smashing game. So he had a home run, and they had a two-nothing lead. And I think Julio Rodriguez heard me dunking on him last episode, because he went crazy. He went two for four with a homer and a double. So he single-handedly ruined our play, because they ended up having a five-run seventh inning after they pulled out Corbin Burns. Ended up losing seven to three. I liked that play. It sucked that we didn't have Rockman or Mount Castle in the game. So as much as some of the times I get better numbers when I bet it the night before, but you also get to see the starting lineups before they actually come out. So if you want to bet it that way, you can wait. But yeah, that didn't go well either. Our two winners were our two batter parlays, and these were no doubters. We had Bobby Witt, and we paired him with Gunnar Henderson. They had six hits combined. Both of them went three for four and three for five with homeruns each. So that was a no-douter. And then we had Stephen Kwan, and we paired that with Brian Reynolds. Kwan went three for four on the back of his all-star vote. After getting in as a starter, I knew he was going to be all pumped up. And he went crazy. He went three for four with a homer as well. And then we had Brian Reynolds going, and he went one for four with a homer. Geez, that would have been nice if we parlayed all four of those guys to get a homerun each. That could have paid a fortune. Anyway, so yeah, we went two and two. However, I won one of those fan-dual runlines yesterday. The strategy worked. Now, there's five plays that you're allowed to do with five runline plays on each one of the $1 parlays. So I'm not going to run through 25 different combinations that I picked on the podcast. So hopefully you're able to kind of use the strategy we were talking about. I used Oakland plus one and a half. They were at minus 178. I used San Fran plus one and a half. They were minus 200 in Arizona plus one and a half at minus 192. All three of those teams won outright. But yeah, like those were kind of the pieces I used, and then I mixed and matched the other ones in there. I had Colorado plus one and a half runs at minus 126. They won outright as well. And then I took Tampa Bay minus one and a half runs. And that was at plus 132. Now, I also had a KC plus one and a half on another ticket, but obviously that didn't come through. But yeah, this one did. So I won my runline parlay. So I got a hundred free dollars. So yeah, we went two and two. However, I essentially went three and two winning the hundred dollars on that one. So that was a full unit back the other way. So not bad. Hopefully some of you guys won. So another winning day. We'll take it. That's five in a row, four in a row with a with a push, but I'll take it five in a row without fan do it because I this is the fourth time in a row. We've called this right. So love it. Let's get into some plays today. We are going to take Arizona and San Diego. We're going to go over eight and a half runs. Now Arizona bats have been really hot. They scored 26 runs over their last three games against the Dodgers and their pitching staff, which is elite. And it's Randy Vasquez going for San Diego on the other side. This guy's two and four. He's got a four 88 ERA, a 1.66 whip and he's got 12.83 hits per nine. That is ugly. And then we've got Slade Saconi going for Arizona. Now this guy's two and six. He's got a 581 ERA. Not great. He's had 11 starts, but he's given up 12 home runs. Not good. San Diego. They've crept out of the basement. They've been played really good baseball. They're now into a second in the N.L. West and they're in a playoff hunt. And now they're they're seven and three in their last 10. So I like this total over eight and a half runs. Arizona's offense has been hot. Both pitchers aren't great. Give me Arizona San Diego over eight and a half runs. Our next play is we are going Minnesota Houston over seven and a half runs. Now I got this at minus one 25 on the score. It's the the site I used to get that number and I've seen it at minus one 40 on fan duel. I don't mind that. I know it keeps creeping up, but as of right now you can get it on the score at minus 125. Now both of these teams have top 10 offenses. They're both really good offense. Both teams are hot. They're both scoring a ton and winning a ton. Houston is eight and two over the last 10, Minnesota seven and three over the last 10. And Houston's got a bullpen game going. They got Sean Dubin going he won and won with a 491 ERA and a 1.56 whip. So not great numbers. And it's Pablo Lopez going on the other side who's eight and six, he's got a 488 ERA. So not a great earned run average. Although he's got some really nice swing of this stuff as he's got 110 Ks on the year, but he's got 17 home runs given up on the year. That's one of the highest in the league. He's given up 1.63 home runs per nine. That Houston's seventh in the league with 102 home runs and actually Minnesota six in the league with 103 home runs. So both these teams can crank the whole run and we're getting over seven and a half runs. I like that line. Our third play is we are going to take the Philadelphia Phillies on the road on the money line versus Atlanta. And we get that at a plus one 20. Now Philly is the best Demon baseball right now, although there's six and four over the last 10s. They have a winning record, but they have been slumping a little bit without Kyle Schwarber and Bryce Harper, but they've got Aaron Nola going. This guy's nine and four, 343 ERA, 1.04 whip and Atlanta struggles versus Nola. Mattie Olson, seven for 28 back to 50. Our boy, Marcelo Zuna is 14 for 54 back to 53 with 19 strikeouts. Whoo. That is ugly. And Ozzy Albies, he is 18 for 65 at 277 with 13 strikeouts. So Nola can absolutely mow these guys down. Now the reason we're getting such a good price is it's Max Fried going on the other side. This guy's elite. He is seven in three with a 291 ERA and a 1.03 whip. So he's got really good stuff. However, Philly can hit against him really well. Trey Turner, eight for 21, 381, Nick Castileos, seven for 11, back in six, 36. Alec Baum, six for 21, back in 286, like that. And Atlanta's been kind of struggling without Ronald Acuna. They've fallen to just nine games above 500. They were one of the top teams for a while. They're four and six in their last 10. Give me Philadelphia on the Moneyline on the road plus 120. And I got some batter parlays I like as well. Let's get into the batter parlays. We're going to take our boy, Brian Reynolds of the Pittsburgh Pirates to get one hit. This guy is three for seven versus Olsen of Detroit. He's got a hit in 23 of his last 25 games. And we're going to pair it with our other boy, Steven Kwan of the Cleveland Guardians. This guy's on fire. Like I said, off of his all-star voting, he was all pumped up and I think his streak's going to keep going. He's batting 350-70s at home again. He's betting 348 versus right-handed pitching. He's got a hit in 21 of his last 25 games. Give me Brian Reynolds, Steven Kwan together. And that comes out at a minus 1/16, so I like that price. Our next one, we are going to the same game. It's Boston versus New York and we're going to take Aaron Judge. He's let us down a couple of times here, but he's three for nine versus Tanner Hough. And Tanner Hough actually got rocked his last time out. He gave up nine hits and eight runs. So not pretty. And that was versus San Diego. And judges, like I said, he's three for nine versus Hough. He's got two hits and six of his last nine games. And we're going to pair it with Raphael Devers. Now, he's three for 10 versus Nester Cortez with two homers and a double. And if you pair the two of those together, you get a minus 101, so a really nice price on that. And our third and final batter parley is we are going to take Jose Altuve to get one hit. Three for 10 versus Pablo Lopez, he spent three forty seven in Minnesota, actually. And he's got two hits and seven of his last nine games. So I like that. And we're going to pair him with Trey Turner. Like I said, he's absolutely crushed max three. He's three eighty five versus three. He's three twenty nine versus left handed pitching and he's got a hit in 14 of his last 16 games. So love those numbers. Prepare those two together and it's a minus one sixteen. And that's Hough. Altuve on the Houston Astros and Trey Turner on the Philadelphia Phillies. But we got a ton of plays going today. We're still on a hot streak. And if you guys are rocking with me, let's roll. [MUSIC]
