I'm your pocket fillers, the parlay killer, the north side thriller, start the broadcast, subscribe with smash, the Gorilla Sports podcast, the Gorilla Sports podcast. Oh, welcome into the Gorilla Sports podcast. I'm your host, Alex Pulpin, and it's Thursday, July the 4th, happy Independence Day to all my American brothers and sisters listening. Appreciate the love self of the border. I know you guys are rocking. Hope you guys have a sick, safe, happy day. Don't do anything I wouldn't do. All right, let's get into what we had yesterday. Boom, another sick day, guys. Let's go. We had a full six plays going yesterday. We won five of them, five in one yesterday. Let's go. We're on a heater again, guys. That's four winning days in a row. We're 14 and four over that stretch, up 10 units. Come on. Who's with me on this thing? Let's go. Let's talk about our plays from yesterday. We took the Boston Red Sox and the Miami Marlins. We took them over seven and a half runs. Oh, this game was frustrating. This game should have gone over like 10 different times. Boston kept loading the bases and then choking and getting nothing out of it. They get like a lead off triple and then strike out, couldn't do anything. I'm like, are you kidding me? So they load the bases in the ninth. It's only two to one. And they end up scoring, excuse me, it's three to one. They end up scoring four runs in the ninth. They load the bases again. This time they cash them all in. So boom, we sail over that number. And the beauty is it was a bit juicy on that seven and a half. I think it was a minus 130 something. Actually, the number kept dropping closer to first pitch. That'd be a minus 125. And actually, I live bet this as well after I kept watching all these hitters putting like, you know, contact on the ball over and over again. But they just couldn't score. So I'm like, this bad luck has got to stop. So I ended up betting up six and a half as well. So I'm just losing my mind on this game. So yeah, they load the bases up in the ninth. Cash them all in. And the beauty is, yeah. So at the bottom of the ninth, Marlin score, a meaningless run. I know some of you guys took the eight or took the eight and a half. So it ended up being a seven, two, final. We end up winning that bad boy. I love it. Our next play is we took Houston on the Moneyline. Now this was a close game for the first five innings. And then Jordan Alvarez went crazy. This guy absolutely destroyed the Toronto bullpen. He ended up going three for four with a homer and two doubles. That was an absolute beauty. Houston scored eight runs in the second half of the game. They would cruise to a nine, two final. That was an easy winner. I ended up taking Houston minus one and a half as well as they were the road dog. Love that play. There's our two for two. Then we took Philly on the Moneyline. Now this was kind of a back and forth game. Philly led three to two in the sixth. And the Cubs tied it up. And then of all people, the rally killer went Marifield. Cassius us in in the eighth inning. It's a single that caches us in. So we end up going up five to three. Man, I have cursed Whit Marifield's name so many times this year. He's literally the Philly rally killer. He's betting 190 this year. That is so bad. I mean, he was actually decent for the Blue Jays. He was like a contact guy betting north of 300 all the time in Toronto. Nope, not in Philly. He's absolutely been terrible. Obviously, he's got a great glove. So that's why they keep him out there. They've had some injuries, so they've got to play him. But yeah, I was so shocked that he was the guy that cashed us all. So that's three up, three down on our plays. And then we had three batter parlays. And we went two for three on that one as well. Love it. We took Rafael Devers, paired it with Brian Reynolds. Devers went two for four. Reynolds went two for five. Love it. Then we had Turner, we had Trey Turner going. And we paired that with Connor Wong of the Boston Red Sox. Turner went two for four. Wong went two for five. So they easily cashed for us. And then our two losers both went over. So we paired the perfect guys together. Judge did not get a hit. Diaz did not get a hit. But they were on the same parlay together. So we called that perfectly, guys. Let's go five in one day. Smashed it. I'm all fired up. Let's go. All right, so plays for today. Now, I often tell people to slow down. You don't listen to the podcast again if you have to. Just make sure you get the right plays. Apparently I didn't do that yesterday. I blew it. That fan dual run line parlay was for today. I didn't read that boost. So I had five silly, you know, run line parlays for $1. Don't get me wrong, it costs $5. It's not the end of the world. But, you know, those are the kind of mistakes where the sports books love that you're not paying attention. And I don't like that. I, you know, I really like to watch the details for this, especially in baseball. It's so statistical oriented that you've got to be watching everything. And I blew that yesterday. So sorry if you guys put your $5 $1 bets down there and you might have lost or won some of those. But it's going today. So strategy still is you want to take two teams that are even, minus 110 on either side and take the team that gets the plus one and a half runs. And you're going to see those at minus 200 or minus 180. Try and pair as many of those as you can together. And then just kind of pick and choose otherwise. You have to make $5 $1 ticket. So it costs you $5 to do these five different run line parlays. And if you win one of them, Vandal gives you 100 bucks. We've won these three in a row doing this strategy. So keep it up. This is what we're going to do. So our plays for today, we got four plays going today. Now we're going to take Baltimore Orioles on the money line. We are back in Corbin Burns. This guy's on fire. He's 9 and 3. He's got a 228 ERA and a 1.03 whip. He's pitched versus Seattle once already this year. And he gave up one run and struck out 11 batters. He absolutely blew through Seattle. And we're going versus Bryce Miller on the other side. He's 6 and 7. He's got a 388 ERA. Don't be wrong, he's actually pitching well. He's pitched versus Baltimore once this year. He lost that start. They won 9 to 2 in that game. He gave up six hits and five runs. So both teams have good and bad history against each other. And it's all in favor of Baltimore. Baltimore's on fire right now. They've won six of their last seven games. They've crept into first place in the ALE's, passing the Yankees. And we're going versus Seattle, who's now three and seven in their last 10. They've lost four in a row. They're like hiding Julio Rodriguez in like the seven and eight hole. He has just been in an absolute slump. He's supposed to be their best hitter. And he's been terrible. They don't know where to put him. So they tried to put him in the seven hole, like in the seventh batting spot. And he's still choking over there too. So give me Baltimore on the money line. Now this is a bit juicy. It's minus 150. But I don't know, the juice is worth the squeeze in this one, because Baltimore is going to crush him. Our next play is we're going to bet on your Don Alvarez over one and a half bases. So just get me a double, two singles, any sort of combination of two bases. Now the best price, and this is at DraftKings, and it's plus 100. That is wrong. I think that price is way off. On Fandil, it's minus 130, which is more likely what it should be. Now this guy is the TO killer. He's got 17 bases over the third, over the three games so far in this series, averaging over five bases a game. He's got a home run in all three of the games. He absolutely owns Chris Bassett. He is nine for 19, that's 421 with five homers versus Bassett. The last time Chris Bassett pitched versus Houston, they absolutely routed him. And he had four hits in that game. Two homers, a double and a single. And we need him over one and a half bases. Give me your Don Alvarez over 1.5 bases. And then I got two hitter parlays that I like as well. We are going to pair Bobby Witt of the Kansas City Royals. And we're going to pair him with Gunnar Henderson to the Baltimore Orioles. Now Witt's two for four versus Zach Affluent. He's about 3.72 at home. He's got one hit in 19 out of his last 25 games, so he's still on fire. Love that. And Gunnar Henderson, he's got a hit in 22 out of his last 27 games. He's two for four versus Miller. He had a lead off homer in that game, that Miller pitched versus Baltimore this year already, so he sees him really well. You pair those two together and it's actually really juicy. It's minus 135. So obviously we're paying a little bit of juice today, but I think, like I said, the juice is going to be worth the squeeze. Now we are going to take Brian Reynolds to get one hit. He's got a hit in 24 of his last 26 games. He was clutch last night. He got a two hits last night. One of them was in the 10th to win the game for Pittsburgh. And I actually took a bet on Pittsburgh last night as well, so that came through. I had a smash yesterday. And we're going to pair Brian Reynolds with Stephen Kwan of the Cleveland Guardians. He's batting 392 versus left-handed pitching. He's one for one versus this pitcher, Schuster. And he just got voted to the All-Star game. He just made his very first All-Star game. It's a home game, so I think they're going to be all pumped up to get him to get him going today as well. All right, guys, after a sick night last night, a nasty run we're on. We've got four plays going today. If you're rocking with me, let's roll. (upbeat music) (upbeat music)
