(upbeat music) - Oh, welcome in to the Gorilla Sports Podcast. I'm your host, Alex Bullpin, and it's Wednesday, July the 3rd. All right, guys, another day and another winning day. We went three and two yesterday. Love that, crushing the books. It's three beautiful winning days in a row. And hey, listen, I appreciate everybody reaching out, asking to buy some merch and asking to help support. Love that, guys. I love that it's a community. I love what we're growing here, and we're growing them from scratch. And yeah, it's cool that everybody's reaching out and asking me about those things, 'cause I'd love to keep doing this without having to do a subscription. Like I said, it stinks hours of work to research and get through all these plays and all the different stats that I have to go through. So it does take a lot of time and effort. So yeah, super cool that a lot of you guys reached out and said, "Hey, I'll take a sweater off your hands." So love that. Now I put in some orders. It does take a couple of weeks to bring this stuff in. So bear with me. I do have all of everybody's orders, but yeah, appreciate it, guys. That's super sick. All right, let's recap from yesterday. We had two batter parlays and we went two for two. Love it. We took Lourdes Guriel, and we paired it with Aaron Judge. Guriel got his hit in the second inning, couldn't get anything else after that, but Judge went crazy. He went three for four with a homer. So Judge got us there quite easily. And then our other parlay, we took Gunnar Henderson to get one hit, and we paired that with Brandon Rogers and the Colorado Rockies. They both came through, so boom, two for two there. Now we lost one unit back with Juan Soto. I didn't call this guy. Now I was looking between him and Aaron Judge for that, but they boosted Aaron Judges up to two and a half hits, runs in RBIs, but didn't like the value there, although he smashed over that number anyway. But Soto, we went over three with a walk, ended up walking his first time at bat, and I was like, all right, you know, that's not terrible if he keeps walking, 'cause Judge is hitting behind him. However, Judges three hits, none of them came with Soto on base, so he didn't score. So that, we lost a unit there. And then we had two total plays. We took the LA Dodgers and the Arizona Diamondbacks, and we took them over eight and a half runs. This sailed over, it was a six-five final. And actually, it couldn't even got higher. Arizona had like the bases loaded, zero out. One of the innings, but got zero runs out of that. So it sailed over six-five anyway. So that was a good read, love that. And then we had Tampa Bay and Kansas City, and we took them over eight and a half. This is not how I thought this game was gonna go. It was a really slow start for the bats. It was one nothing after five. And then it went into a rain delay. And like I knew this was possible with the weather, and checking weather is always part of the handicap. That's a big must when you're betting on baseball. And so I knew it had a chance of having a rain delay. So I was hoping that this was gonna be a postponement or a suspension, 'cause if it does, you get your money back, it'll be a voided bet. So that would have put us at three and one on a day instead of three and two on the day. However, two and a half hours later, they restarted, and actually the bats showed up after the rain delay. So they scored five runs in the second half of the game. So that's kinda what we were looking for in the first half. And actually, it's still had a chance of going over. Tampa Bay loaded the bases in the eighth with one out and scored zero runs in the eighth inning. They got all five of those runs in different innings. That's all right. It ended up a five-one final, so we lost that one, but a three and two day will take that all day every day. All right, let's get into some plays today, 'cause I got some that I love. Our first play is, we're gonna take the Houston Astros on the money line over the Toronto Blue Jays. We bet on 'em two games ago, and we held off yesterday when it was Barrios versus Arageti. However, we're going back on 'em this game. Now it's, Kukuchi is going for the Jays today. Now he had a hot start to the year, but he's been getting roughed up lately, and we've actually been betting against him. So he's now four and eight on the year, and he's given up at least four runs over his last three starts, so not good there. And Houston, on the other side, they're eight and two over their last 10, and they've got Ronald Blanco going. This guy's eight and three. He's got a 249 year A and a 1.01 whip. And let's not forget, he no hit the Blue Jays already this year. He went nine full innings and didn't give up a hit to the Blue Jays, as Houston routed them, 10 to nothing the last time he pitched versus them. So we're getting Houston on a short money line on the road. I like that look. Give me Houston on the money line. Our next play is we're gonna take the Boston Red Sox and the Miami Marlins, and we're gonna take them over seven and a half. Now I got that on FanDuel at minus 138, but I bet that this morning it's still live. You can get it right now. I know the posted numbers at eight on FanDuel, but if you go to the alternative run lines, you can drag it down and get over seven and a half at minus 138. I really like that seven and a half number. I think I draft Kings. I signed it minus 145, which is also playable. I like that as well. Now it's Brian Bello going for Boston. Now this guy seven and five, he's got a 555 ERA and a 1.47 whip. And he's been getting rock lately. We've been taking a lot of overs versus him, or actually including him. He just got destroyed by Toronto, lasted two innings, giving up five hits and seven runs. Love that. And it's going versus Trevor Rodgers in Miami. This guy's one and eight. He's got a 489 ERA and a 1.56 whip. That is not good. Now I definitely think we can get nine runs, but we're definitely gonna get eight runs in this game. I like that a lot. I like that Boston's on the road so they could put up a number that Miami's gonna have to chase. But over seven and a half, I like that look. Our third play is we're gonna take the Philadelphia Phillies on the money line on the road. Now they come in at us a short minus 126, and we're back in Zack Wheeler. Love it. This guy's nine and four, 273 ERA, and a 0.98 whip. Sick numbers. And he's got a 6.25 hits per nine. Love that. Nobody's getting any wood on this guy. Philly, best team in baseball. They got the best record in baseball. They're seven and three over the last 10. So love that. Now the reason we're only getting a minus 126 is the Cubs have Chota Immana going. Now I do love this kid. This is our Japanese rookie. We've backed him a bunch of times this year. However, over his last two starts, he's been getting rocked. He gave up five hits and three runs to San Fran, and 11 hits and 10 runs in three innings versus the New York Mets. Ooh, that's not great. And the Cubs are three and seven in the last 10. They've lost three in a row. Gimme Philadelphia, Philly's on the Moneyline as a minus 126 favorite. So those are our three full plays. And then we've got some other props I'd like to. Actually, Fandall has their five parlays again. Now we've won this three times in a row. This strategy keeps working. So listen up. So you have to bet $1 on five game run line parlay for baseball. So it either has to be a minus one and a half or a plus one and a half. And our strategy every time for this is trying to find five games where both teams are very neutral. So they're minus 110 each on either side. But you take the one that's a plus one and a half and you get it at a minus 200 or something like that. So I know like Baltimore is even money right now with Seattle. So when you take Baltimore plus one and a half runs, it comes up to like minus 200 or something like that. But that's what we want. We don't care about the actual parlay. We just want to win the $100 bonus. So try and find five of those together. So Baltimore is a good one. Actually, believe not the Cubs, even though we're taking Philly on the money line, that's kind of a hedge on the other side. I don't mind the Cubs getting plus one and a half. And then you get it at minus 160, something like that. Oakland's another one. Take it Oakland plus the one and a half. So stuff like that, you'll see those lines are minus 200, minus 180, pair a bunch of those together so that we can try and win that parlay. It only costs $5 to try and win one of these. And if you do, then boom, you get a hundred free dollars. So heads up for that, fan dual people. All right, we've got some batter parlays we like today. Our first one, we are gonna go to Raphael Devers. Now this is Boston going versus Miami. We like the over in this game. Devers is three for five versus Rogers already. He's got two hits in four of his last six. He's got one hit in seven of his last eight games. Love that. And we're gonna pair that with one of the streak brothers, Brian Reynolds. Love Brian Reynolds today. He's back in 361 in 40 played appearances versus Miles Micolas. Love that. He's gonna hit in 23 of his last 25 games. And Micolas, his last time out gave up 12 hits and 10 runs to since he is last pitching performance. So when you pair Devers and Reynolds together, you get it at a minus 106. So a great price on that too. Love that look. Our next one is we are gonna go to Aaron Judge. He is on fire right now. He's about 323 versus left-hand pitching. He's got two hits and six of his last seven. He's got one hit in 20 out of his last 22 games. Perfect. Give me him and we're gonna pair him with Yandy Diaz, the other streak brother. Love that. He's got a hit in 23 out of his last 25 games. He's got three for six with a homer and a double versus Waka today in Kansas City. And when you pair the two of those guys together, you get that at a minus 120. So that's Judge on the Yankees and Yandy Diaz on Tampa Bay. And sorry, the Devers is on Boston and Reynolds is on Pittsburgh. I know some of you guys don't actually know where a lot of these batters play. So I'll try enough. Remember to put the teams as well as the names. And we got one more that I like as well. We're gonna take Trey Turner, the Philadelphia Phillies, to get one hit. He's about 333 versus left-handed pitching. He's got one hit in 21 out of his last 25 games. He's got two hits in four of his last six. He's had a two-homer game last night. So we see the ball really well. And we're gonna pair that with Connor Wong, the catcher for the Boston Red Sox. This guy's on fire right now. He's about 343 versus left-handed pitching, but 345 on the road. And he now has the longest hitting streak in the majors as Yandy and Reynolds have lost theirs. He's on a 16-game hit streak. So love those two together. Trey Turner and Connor Wong together comes out as a minus one 16. All right, guys, we've got three full plays going today. We've got three batter parlays going today. And there's the FanDuel $5, $1 parlays. I like that as well. And I know FanDuel's giving out another $3, $10, same-game parlay. And when you have to do these same-game parlays and same-game pluses, the trick for those is you only have to take two from the same game. And then you can start adding other pieces to it. So I'll probably do something like rap fail divers to get one hit, Connor Wong to get one hit. And then I can pair it with other things for that $10, same-game parlay. So it doesn't always have to be part of the same as long as there's two, and it's kind of considered a same-game plus once you take two selections from one game. So just keep that in mind when you're making those same-game parlays. It doesn't have to be 10 guys from the same team. So you can kind of switch it around, stuff like that as well. All right, guys, couple of tips, couple of tricks. We got some winners kicking. We're on a nice little streak here. And if you're rocking with me, let's roll. [MUSIC PLAYING] (upbeat music)
