We're just finished here at Fitzgerald Stadium in the 2024 Kerry Petroleum Intermediate Holding Championship and Kilgab, another champion for this year, after a 5/11 one to one nine win over St. Brendan's. I'm joined now by Captain Richard Cooper and manage the match Daniel Casey. Congratulations, Dad. Thanks very much, yeah. It's great to be involved in playing Namot Hirling over the year now. We took football very seriously for the last three weeks and hired our training and, from fairness to managers, they're there every year. We got the Hirling Dawn and we put on a good farm instead of it. They jagged goals were the crucial difference in the end. I think you got four of them. I did, yeah. I was looking to get a few Richard handed me one. You can give the ball anyway to Daniel, he'll always get it. It's very easy to play with him. And there are a couple of crucial saves by your goalie Patrick O'Shea, especially one there earlier in the first half when the match was tight. He's so reliable. He's, you know, a solid the back. You know, this year he's first year in goals. He had no problem with all the goals. He's super player now in fairness. Really vital to us winning this today. And it's great for the parish as well to get a win like this. I had, you know, a tough year. You know, like we were struggling with numbers. They're a big time during the year. I suppose none of us really talk. We get this fair at all. But no, it's great to get over the line down today. Yeah, when your team performs like that in the final, you know you've done well and your things are going well. Yeah, exactly. That's it. And what's the plan for the night now, that's a few beers and work tomorrow, unfortunately. So I know we might not celebrate with the club as much as we can anyway. It's great for hurling in this area, the country as well. I think you're under 13th reach the final last night as well. I think they're under age now coming there like we see in Beckett. They'll be training before some nights. And you know, they're it's great talent coming through the line. So we'll stick to the stick thing until we're playing with them now.
