Jerry Mong - S.2 E.35

Beth and Kate interview Jerry Mong! Jerry lives in Leetonia with his wife, Marilyn. They have a blended family with 4 adult children, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild! They also have two fur-children - their labs Howdy and Scout. Jerry was born and raised in Knox, PA. After high school, Jerry enlisted into the army where he was stationed in Germany near the Alps Mountain Ridge. Afterwards, during the Vietnam War, he was stationed in Qui Nhon, South Vietnam. After his service in the army, Jerry came home and went to an electronic trade school in Pittsburgh, PA. He spent also 40 years with AT&T/OhioBell. Jerry loves to learn and to serve where he can! He ministers at the Pegasus Therapeutic Equestrian and also gives time to Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing. He is looking forward to painting and photography classes this summer! Jerry has been at the Upper Room for one year! We're really grateful for Jerry and the ways he has served and loved his family, friends, church and country! If you know Jerry, you know he believes deeply in the power of prayer, he loves his nation and veterans, and he loves to learn, to create and find new things to do!
