Beth and Josh interview Celie Altomare! Celie lives in Columbiana, next door to her wonderful daughter and son-in-law! Her beloved Tony passed away three years ago. They were married for and they had four children: Monica, Beth, Erin and Paul. Originally from Montana, Celie has also lived in Alaska and California! After moving to Ohio in 1981, Celie met Shirley Stryffeler at The Mustard Seed book store, and the rest is history! Since that time, Celie has become a household name at the Upper Room, serving in a hundred different capacities, always loving and cheerleading and giving compassion to anyone who needs it. Her dedication to her family and church family has been so evident and makes such a difference to the people around her! Celie presently works at the YMCA. You can find her at the service desk where she has become known as a finder of lost things! Celie loves her family, her grandkids and serving others. She has been at the Upper Room for 38 years! We're so so grateful for her! If you know Celie, you know she believes that Jesus loves us and hears our prayers - that he is present, patient and good. Listen and hear from Celie as she encourages us to believe that God is watching over us and that we should cling to faith even when and if we doubt!
