Beth and Kate interview the gifted, passionate and people-loving Greg Aker! Greg is husband to Marta and dad to Shawn and Leslie. After working as an art teacher for 37 years, he is currently the administrative pastor at the Upper Room! Greg cares deeply for his family and for people and for the body of Christ! He desires to see the Church fulfilling its roll in loving the world and bringing in the kingdom. Greg and Marta have been at the Upper Room for 44 years! We're so grateful for Greg and the all many ways he serves the URF and city of Columbiana - in pastoring, administration, CCMA president, small group leader, Foundations class teacher, and more! If you know Greg, you know he's passionate about seeing people equipped to serve Jesus and about loving our city well. His love for and example of Jesus can be seen all through the building, our calendar events, our Sunday mornings, through the Columbiana Ministerial Association (CCMA)!
