Is hacking the government morally right? Episode 1,259

I am not asking this, I am not endorsing this, but I am doing a brain experiment. Have we reached the point where it is now morally superior to hack the government? They won’t tell us what they are doing to us. Who is giving these orders? Why are we not being given answers? This has caused me a great bit of concern because I am leaning toward yes to my original question. But then, I consider Romans 13 and the charge for everyone to be subject to the governing authority. Everyone. In other words, no, Chris Wray does not get a pass. I think it all comes down to who is the governing authority in God’s eyes. This is bound to be a dangerous discussion.

What does God’s Word say?
Romans 13
Proverbs 29:1-6
Whoever remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed—without remedy.
2 When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan.
3 A man who loves wisdom brings joy to his father, but a companion of prostitutes squanders his wealth.
4 By justice a king gives a country stability, but those who are greedy for[a] bribes tear it down.
5 Those who flatter their neighbors are spreading nets for their feet.
6 Evildoers are snared by their own sin, but the righteous shout for joy and are glad.
